Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with optimalization of the injection process of the part and its implementation into serial production. In the first step, the injection mold was tested and injection parameters were initially defined. In the next step, simulations were created in the CADMOULD program. These simulations calculated theoretical injection parameters and these were compared with the parameters set on the injection molding machines. Then, the shape measurement protocols were prepared, according to which the shapes in the cavities of the injection mold were optimized. Finally stress tests were performed, which detected problems in the injection process.

Diploma thesis deals with measurement of temperature. The main goal of the thesis is to suggest and realize a Conditioning Chamber for Thermal Testing of small equipments and sensitive elements. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are mentioned possibilities of miscue of measurement, equipments and sensitive elements for the measurement of temperature and their dividing. Furthermore, the measurement software and hardware is described for controlling and operating of the system. The practical part is detailing concept and realization of the setting of the Conditioning Chamber, which is controlled by graphical measurement software Control Web 6. The thesis is finished by exemplary measurement and is being service of practical approximation of the measurement test.

The topic of this diploma thesis is an analysis of a process of deformation measure-ments performed during bridge structure load tests and their following evaluation. The aim of this thesis is to describe commonly used methods of measurement, their principles and difficulties, and to find ways of usage in modern methods. The main point of the thesis is to solve the problematic of suspension wire – to find through laboratory measurement suit-able alternatives to so far most commonly used steel wire. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical hypotheses for load testing of bridge structures and is based on the ČSN 73 6209 norm, including description of the measurement methods. The next part is focused on the evaluation of particular bridge load test and practical evaluation of the laboratory experiment.

The main topic of this work is the analysis of the measurement of partial discharge measurements on high voltage cables. The thesis also deals with other measurements, including the measurement of the loss factor and the voltage retention and breakdown test. Part of the text describes the issue of partial discharge, its measurement by galvanic method and methods of elimination of disturbing influences that affect this method in terms of sensitivity and accuracy of the measured values. Thesis also describes the construction of the cables, their marking and the tests carried out on them. There is also a description of the cable terminals used for measuring, especially water terminals, which are designed for high voltages and which are carried out in the practical part of the thesis. The next part deals with problems prior to the commissioning of water terminals and their preparation for certain tests, including description and evaluation of the results of the measurements.

The tested components are the heat exchangers made from alloy of aluminium used for automobiles. Due to the impact of porosity texture created during the components casting there is leaking. The analysis was accomplished to find out the most problematic parts of these components. Subsequently the testing and measuring were performed in order to classify the testing and detect its accuracy. The master’s thesis is focused on serviceability evaluation of historical concrete floor slab realized in the third decade of the 20th century. The assessment of structural performance is based on the results of load testing in situ. The thesis defines contemporary load testing requirements followed by the specifications of measuring instruments and the possibilities of displacement measurements during load testing. In addition, it includes structural and historical investigation of the building, methodology and data evaluation of the load testing. Finally, the theoretical computer simulation of executed load testing is run by using software determined for nonlinear finite elements analysis.

This dissertation thesis deals with determination of the mechanical properties of weld materials based on instrumented hardness test. This work was caused by the research project between IAM Brno Ltd and CEZ corp., when the task was to develop a methodology for evaluation of mechanical material properties using NDT methods. For these reasons the development of methodology is reflected especially for use in practice focusing to determining the mechanical properties of the heterogeneous weld joint on the assembled equipment. The mechanical material properties are determined by carrying out non-destructive tests of the instrumented Vickers hardness. The developed methodology for determining of basic mechanical properties is based on the principle of inverse FEM modeling of the instrumented hardness tests, when output of the testing is indentation curve and measured surface imprint after unloading. The basic material mechanical properties are achieved by comparing the outputs of the experimental instrumented hardness tests and the outputs of the modeled hardness test using FEM.

The Master‘s thesis is focused on measuring of the stress in the spiral case of water turbine using the strain gauges measurement. It contains the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part includes a description of theoretical background (basic mechanics, measurement and evaluation, strain gauges, pressure measurement, uncertainty of measurement). One of the chapters describes Water Power Plant Lipno nad Vltavou (history of power plant, issues and the history of measurement). The practical part contains a theoretical calculation of measurement uncertainty and measuring of stress on spiral case Francis turbine at Water Power Plant Lipno I (Unit TG2). Measurement was made before and after overhaul. There are described technical data of spiral cases, description of measurement, results of measuring of strain and stress including comparison with the pressure in spiral case and calculation of uncertainties of measurement.

A proposal how to conduct a compression test of reinforced concrete objects with one beam inserted from both sides exposed to a four-point bending. A theoretical proposal of the most appropriate form of reinforcement of the reinforced concrete object including a suggestion how to increase its tensile strength based on the chosen crushing load and the positioning of the beam (static calculation). Presentation of the project, static compression test measurement and all the other necessary measurements (elastic modulus, strenth of the material etc.). Development of a mathematical model with the help of Atena software. Evaluation and comparison of the results in analytical and experimental part of the project. This master´s thesis is focused on chosen dynamic parameters of a sport vehicle represented by student formula Dragon 7 and comparison of these parameters with conventional vehicles represented by two exemplars of ŠKODA Superb III. Driving tests used for the comparison are simulating the real driving situations from the roads in order to possibly use those for the road accident analysis in the future. All the measurements were taken under lower adhesion conditions which might help solving of the road accidents under such conditions in the future. There is also a description of vehicle driving systems and components which have an influence on the vehicle´s driving dynamics incorporated in the thesis.

This thesis resumes both theoretical and practical knowledge with surface protection by wet painting which the student achieved during her studies and within her practice which she got in the painting shop of cabs for building, handling and agricultural machines. In her thesis the student has found out that one of current trends focuses on the method which is ecologically friendly and preserves paint lifetime. To achieve that, ED-coat painting is used first and then followed by the painting of waterborne paint. Within the scope of her thesis objective she has also optimised the process of surface protection respective technological pre-treatments and parameters which are carried out during ED-coat and e-coat painting, such as optimal thickness of coating, temperatures or technological time outs.

This diploma thesis deals with methods used to determine the temperature field distribution within an electric machine. The first part is focused on methods of temperature measurement, generation and transfer of the thermal energy within the electric machine, asynchronous motor in particular. The thesis describes classical methods of temperature measurement and it also deals with ANSYS Workbench finite element method for thermal analysis of the motor. This master‘s thesis focuses on optimization of power and control circuits of an inverter, which was developed at UVEE. The principle of function and circuit implementation of a single-phase inventer, various calculations (design of an LC filter, DC link capacitor, semiconductor elements and heat sink) are described in the thesis. A design of fast overcurrent protections, oscillator and saw signal generator is included. Furthermore, a printed circuit board was designed which was optimized by thermal simulation in the Workbench Ansys. Subsequently, the printed circuit board was mounted, debugged and verification measurements were performed on it. At the end of the thesis there is a documentation for the implemented equipment.

This thesis is focused on creation of mobilization curves, based on data, obtained from standard and detailed monitoring of the load test. The load test was performed on the 9 meters long ductile micropile. The first part of the thesis explains the methods and principles, which was used to construct the mobilization curves. Next there is description of the technologies of ductile micropiles and the load test. In the next part of the thesis is generally explained process, which was applied to the evaluated data. For evaluation was used spreadsheet Microsoft Excel and programming language Matlab, with Kernel Smoothing extension. In the last chapter of the thesis there are interpreted the load transfer function together with skin friction and micropile displacement.

The doctoral thesis deal with the interaction between the foundation plate and deep foundation in the form of bored piles in the case of skeleton construction. The issue of tension redistribution from the column between the plate and the pile is investigated on specific object – „Shopping and entertainment center Fórum Nová Karolina”. On this object were selected columns monitored and load tests of the piles was executed. Values of the axial loading of the piles and the actual deformation of the construction have been derived from measurements and tests. They were compared with the results of structural behavior by numerical modeling.

Acoustic pressure in environment protection programs of developed countries is the one of most important issue after air and water pollution. Acoustic pressure is all around us, such like machines, traffics and some other things. It is not possible to completely stop the noise, but there are some certain ways were used to reduce it up to acceptable limits. The aim of this work is to measure the acoustic noise and find solution to reduce it. The first measurements were done indoor (workplace studio) focused on room acoustic. We measured the acoustic pressure for three heights in different places,but finally the most important results were selected and compared with respect to each others. The next measurements were performed outdoor to collect the results about spread of the noise, which were analyzed with certain limits. The main goal was to find how to safe the human health and maintain peaceful and healthy environmental.

The presented thesis deals with the evaluation exterior of Moravian warm-blooded horse breed. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of statistical five selected effects (year of birth, sex, breed, breeder district headquarters, district headquarters of the owner) for five of the variables, which were points of evaluation "ZZUV" a basic body dimensions measured on the breed MT. The research began by defining comparable basis in the breadth of breeding individuals born between 1980 -- 2009 and registered to 1. 1. 2014 PK MT. It was about 200 breeding mares and 24 stallions. This was followed by the collection of necessary data using Microsoft Excel 2010. This was specifically about gender, year of birth, belonging to the breed, the number of points obtained in "ZZUV" values of body measurements, "PG" %, the highest performance achieved offspring of horses and monitored their color. This data were compiled statistical program continues Unistat 5.1 for Excel using the general linear model with fixed variables (GLM) and statistically significantly affected variables were forwarded to the multiple comparison method of Scheffe effects. All data were then divided into groups and compiled in tables and graphs. They represent the fair value and the percentage achievement on the one hand the whole population, but also compared gender stallions and mares.

This thesis originated as a part of the PhD research carried out by Mgr. Radek Suchomel. To calibrate a hypoplastic model for granular materials a large number of laboratory tests was needed and a part of the testing constitutes the present thesis. The hypoplastic model by von Wolffersdorff (1996) has eight materials parameters. The critical state fiction angle φc', which was obtained directly by the measurement of the angle of repose, is one of the eight parameters. Other parameters are determined form the results of experiments and empirically. Aim of this thesis was to carry out field and laboratory tests, to determine selected soil properties and to interpret them with regard to the variability of the soil in the selected face of the sand pit. The material for investigation comes from the south part of the Cretaceous Třeboň Basin in the South Bohemia from the Kolný sand pit. The pit is located in the upper part of the Klikov layers. The fluvial layers are characterised by rhythmical variation of gravely sands, sands and sands with dark grey clayey inclusion. Samples were taken in the face of the sand pit with the dimensions of 9 x 36 m. The following tests were performed: drained triaxial compression test (38 samples), oedometric compression test (38 samples), measurement of the angle of repose...

Title The effect of airway clearance techniques on patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Objective The main purpose of this study is to expose and evaluate the efficacy of airway clearance techniques on patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease by using pulmonary functions and Quality of Life measurements from recent studies. Methodology This thesis is literature review. The selected studies were according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The selections of recent studies were published from the year of 2000 until 2017 in English language. The following research databases were selected to identify the relevant topic: PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane, PEDro, and CINAHL. The parameters' results from the articles have been also selected by evaluation the statistical differences according to the P-values. Results Twenty-three articles out of 117 have been found according to inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, and outcome measures.
