Questo lavoro cerca di rispondere a due quesiti, il primo riguarda la possibile esistenza di una memoria corporea che precede e prepara le memorie elaborate dal sistema nervoso centrale. Il secondo quesito concerne le modalità attraverso le quali si possono recuperare le memorie corporee. La testimonianza procede dal corpo alla rappresentazione verbale. In tutte le situazioni, normali o traumatiche, sono le immagini a costituire il ponte che collega le memorie del corpo con le memorie della mente. Verrà infine descritta una nuova tecnica che utilizza le immagini del paziente durante il colloquio definita Consulenza psicologica immaginativa.

Il progetto Grammo-foni. Le soffitte della voce (Gra.fo, grafo.sns.it ; Scuola Normale Superiore & Università di Siena, Regione Toscana PAR-FAS 2007-13) ha scoperto, digitalizzato, catalogato e reso fruibili attraverso un portale online quasi 3000 ore di registrazioni orali provenienti da circa 30 archivi orali di area toscana raccolti da studiosi e appassionati di cultura e tradizioni popolari. Data la vastità e l’eterogeneità del materiale conservato (es. biografie, etnotesti, questionari linguistici, letteratura orale), Gra.fo costituisce un archivio preziosissimo della memoria toscana e restituisce una documentazione di prima mano delle varietà linguistiche toscane dai primi anni ‘60 in poi. L’articolo fa uso di questo materiale per un’analisi sociolinguistica incentrata sulla costruzione del racconto orale e su alcuni aspetti della morfologia verbale (l’uso del passato remoto e la variazione tra forme standard e dialettali di passato remoto e imperfetto). Lo studio di caso riguarda l’Archivio ‘Dina Dini’ (Pieve Santo Stefano, Arezzo), che contiene interviste su esperienze di emigrazione all’estero negli anni 1955-1987.

En el escenario civilizatorio contemporáneo, muy basado en la cultura de lo inmediato, a menudo en detrimento de la dimensión humana y humanista, se hace imprescindible proporcionar hábitos y lecturas que puedan contribuir de alguna manera a la conservación, clarificación, difusión y estructuración de otra memoria, marcada por los hábitos de lectura y escritura, por la conciencia del libro como “fuente de vitalidad del espíritu” (como decía George Steiner), aunque sea a costa del multivocalismo hipertextual. Sabiendo que ni la literatura, ni los comportamientos sociales son fenómenos estáticos —y que la lengua, como decía Mijaíl Bajtín, “vit et évolue historiquement dans la communication verbale concrète, non dans le système linguistique abstrait des formes de la langue, non plus que dans le psychisme individuel des locuteurs” (Bajtín, 1977: 137; cursivas en original)—, intentaré abordar, entre otras cuestiones anexas, la necesidad de otorgar confianza a las Humanidades (y, en el caso concreto, a la literatura); la necesidad (absoluta) del hábito de la escritura y la lectura del texto literario, en un universo cada vez más marcado por las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación que colorearán polifónicamente una cultura digital con una interfaz dominada por el poder cibercultural e hipertextual de la escritura y la lectura web.

Abstract:
En el campo de investigación en psicología del testimonio se ha estudiado el efecto de múltiples factores psicológicos sobre la cantidad de detalles, la reproducción de conversaciones y las falsas memorias en el recobro de eventos autobiográficos. El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar el efecto de la personalidad sobre el recobro de testigos presenciales de actos con violencia verbal y no verbal. Participaron 40 estudiantes de psicología divididos en cuatro grupos en términos de sus puntuaciones altas en los estilos de personalidad histriónica (Grupo 1), esquizoide (Grupo 2), obsesiva-compulsiva (Grupo 3), y un grupo control con puntuaciones promedio en dichos estilos (Grupo 4). Mediante una situación experimental se presentó a los participantes un video con contenido de violencia verbal o física; posteriormente se realizó una tarea de recobro libre y se evaluó la cantidad de detalles, la reproducción de conversaciones y las falsas memorias. Los resultados mostraron que los participantes del Grupo 1 evidenciaron recobros pobres en detalles, con deficiente precisión en la reproducción de conversaciones y ausencia de falsas memorias, mientras que los participantes de los grupos 2 y 3 recobraron la información con mayor cantidad de detalles y mayor precisión en la reproducción de conversaciones, aunque el Grupo 3 obtuvo la mayor cantidad de falsas memorias. Estos hallazgos son discutidos en términos de la relación entre la forma en que se recobra la información en los procesos de Memoria Autobiográfica en escenarios jurídicos, y que hay otros constructos asociados como la personalidad y la emoción que pueden influir en el testimonio. Le Autrici riflettono sul ruolo che hanno i vari tipi di memoria, implicita, sensoriale, esplicita ed episodica nella formazione dell'Inconscio e nello sviluppo della mente infantile. In particolare evidenziano i principali contributi scientifici di Adriano Giannotti sugli stadi iniziali dello sviluppo infantile normale e patologico e sul ruolo che hanno la madre e la relazione della coppia genitoriale in senso lato come processo trasformativo anche delle memorie corporee indicibili nelle memorie verbali. Le Autrici condividono con Adriano Giannotti l'idea che una visione piů complessa della memoria e dell'inconscio richieda un approccio integrato tra il punto di vista delle neuroscienze e quello psicoanalitico. Il trattamento psicoanalitico del bambino, dell'adolescente e dell'adulto ha permesso ad Adriano Giannotti, come alle Autrici, di studiare il come prendono forma i ricordi nei piccoli pazienti con disturbi psicosomatici, il gioco dialettico tra percezione, rappresentazione e memoria, tra comunicazione inconscia e comunicazione dell'inconscio rimosso e di come la cornice analitica facilita l'acquisizione di uno spazio mentale, dove la creazione di un linguaggio comune č tesa a una co-costruzione del ricordo.

Abstract:
Folletos, guías, catálogos y de-más textos turísticos representan a Cartagena como una ciudad colonial anclada en un pasado mítico. En el presente artículo, el análisis discursivo del texto “Notas de Historia” evidencia que la memoria histórica que reconoce el discurso turístico es la que refiere el pasado hispánico de la ciudad. El examen de los diversos elementos de la narración (acción, personajes y ambiente) demuestra que el texto sólo aborda acontecimientos situados entre los siglos XVI y XVIII, invisibilizando otras memorias que tuvieron lugar antes y después de este período. Los referentes asociados a lo indígena y lo africano son prácticamente inexistentes, y cuando aparecen, vienen acompañados de palabras, formas verbales y significados que inferiorizan. Se trata, entonces, de una memoria histórica que coincide con la memoria de la historiografía tradicional, la cual ignora y minimiza el papel de los actores populares, y en general, de las poblaciones que no acreditan ascendenciaapariencia europea.

Abstract:
Gracias a los avances en el campo de la Psicología Cognitiva se está demostrando la importancia que adquieren las funciones ejecutivas en la consecución de un determinado rendimiento en tareas de naturaleza numérica. El objetivo de este estudio fue el de determinar la relación de determinados factores cognitivos, como son la memoria a corto plazo visual y verbal y la atención concentrada y selectiva, con el rendimiento matemático en distintos niveles evolutivos, tratando de dirimir la influencia que el grado de dominio de los aprendizajes verbales suscita sobre la consecución de un determinado rendimiento matemático. La población partícipe de esta investigación fue de 153 sujetos (80 niños y 73 niñas) distribuidos en dos niveles educativos diferentes, 4 Primaria (78 sujetos, distribuidos en tres clases) y 2 ESO (75 sujetos, en tres clases). A ambos grupos se les administró sendas baterías psicopedagógicas (Evalúa-4 para Primaria y BADyG para Secundaria), con el objetivo de tratar de correlacionar las puntuaciones obtenidas en las pruebas de naturaleza verbal, numérica y cognitiva. Los resultados demostraron una mayor influencia de las variables cognitivas con respecto a la Etapa de Secundaria en detrimento de Primaria, siendo los factores verbales, la variable que soportaba un mayor peso sobre el rendimiento Matemático en Primaria, incluso por encima de la Atención y la Memoria.

La memoria del pueblo wichí, uno de los varios que habitan en la región sudamericana del Gran Chaco, conserva mapas orales desde tiempos ancestrales. Entre ellos se incluyen los honhates lheyis o nombres de lugares, puntos de descanso y abastecimiento en las rutas de los wichi ta welekhen o campeadores. Me detengo aquí en el arte verbal (Ciccone, 2021) de una selección de ellos registrados por el escritor wichí Laureano Segovia en su libro Olhamel Otichuhnayaj. Nuestra memoria (1998). Considerando esta escritura como una expresión de literatura de tradición oral o literatura de la choza (Espino Relucé, 2010) y así también de oralitura (Huamán, 2013), abordo algunos procedimientos de metaforización del espacio proponiendo estos mapas orales, indígenas y de resistencia cultural como cartografías disidentes (Zusman, 2002) de una región pilcomayeña (Altuna & Palermo, 1996) en el marco de las actuales luchas por las memorias (Jelin, 2002) y la pertenencia a la tierra.

Abstract:
Este artículo analiza las memorias sobre el familiar detenido y desaparecido de 19 mujeres de la Agrupación de Familiares de Detenidos Desaparecidos de Santiago de Chile. Se utilizó la entrevista reflexiva-grupal como estrategia de producción de testimonios, los cuales fueron analizados mediante el análisis de datos verbales. Los principales resultados señalan que las memorias familiares transmitidas intergeneracionalmente son de alta intensidad y afectividad, constituyendo una postmemoria (Hirsch, 1998). También se establece que los testimonios de las víctimas se configuran a manera de lucha contra la negación e impunidad de la desaparición del familiar detenido desaparecido. Este estudio aporta conocimiento útil para el desarrollo de políticas de memoria que permitan el econocimiento social de la historia familiar de víctimas de terrorismo de Estado. Del mismo modo, se considera que tanto la propuesta teórico-metodológica como los resultados obtenidos en este estudio, aportan pistas para el desarrollo de nuevas líneas de investigación, orientadas a la comprensión de la transmisión transgeneracional de experiencias traumáticas.

La evaluación neuropsicológica es importante para determinar el estado de las capacidades cognitivas como la atención, la memoria, las funciones ejecutivas o capacidades perceptuales en la normalidad o ante un daño cerebral. La evaluación de la memoria verbal es un aspecto recurrente en muchas de los test o baterías neuropsicológicas, ya que es una de las principales capacidades afectadas ante el daño cerebral. Actualmente se tiende a usar las ventajas que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías a la evaluación de las capacidades cognitivas y se están desarrollando muchas aplicaciones para la evaluación neuropsicológica. Este estudio analizó la utilidad diagnóstica de una prueba informatizada para valorar la memoria verbal, el Cogval-Verbal, y se comparó sus resultados con otras pruebas de reconocida utilidad clínica para la detección de la alteración cognitiva, el Mini Examen Cognoscitivo y el Test de Aprendizaje Audio Verbal de Hopkins. Los resultados indican que la prueba informatizada Cogval Verbal muestra índices de utilidad diagnóstica adecuados con un área bajo la curva ROC de 0.837 para memoria verbal inmediata y de 0.862 para memoria a largo plazo, con una Sensibilidad de 85.71 y Especificidad de 81.25 para la memoria a largo plazo. Además, los resultados en la prueba informatizada al igual que las otras pruebas aplicadas fueron estadísticamente diferentes (p<0.05) entre los participantes sin deterioro cognitivo de las personas con deterioro cognitivo. Estos resultados permiten indicar que la prueba informatizada muestra índices de utilidad diagnóstica similar a las otras pruebas utilizadas en este estudio, por lo que podría ser útil para la detección de las alteraciones en capacidades de memoria verbal o en trastornos neurocognitivos.

Abstract:
Si sono studiati i correlati neurali dei sistemi di memoria verbale in pazienti con glioma cerebrale. Si tratta di pazienti sottoposti ad asportazione di lesioni cerebrali dell’emisfero dominante, in cui le funzioni mnestiche sono state valutate mediante prove specifiche prima e dopo l’intervento chirurgico, per verificare l’impatto funzionale dell’espanso e della rimozione della lesione. L’indagine anatomo-funzionale si è inoltre avvalsa delle tecniche di mappaggio cerebrale in awake surgery laddove l’intervento è stato eseguito in anestesia asleep-awake per la rimozione dei tumori estesi alle aree del linguaggio. Nel primo studio si esamina l’impatto della crescita tumorale sulla memoria verbale: le valutazioni neuropsicologiche effettuate pre-trattamento hanno permesso di identificare difficoltà conclamate o lievi compromissioni, che variano in funzione delle aree di infiltrazione tumorale; la prospettiva anatomo-clinica ha fornito una conferma dell’esistenza di sistemi di memoria verbale in distretti anatomo-funzionali differenti. Il secondo studio esamina i correlati neurali della memoria verbale a breve termine in un gruppo di pazienti sottoposti a mappaggio cerebrale in awake surgery: la stimolazione corticale e sottocorticale diretta ha permesso di identificare un circuito fronto-parietale coinvolto nei processi di MBT; l’analisi degli errori registrati durante i test intraoperatori ha permesso inoltre di distinguere il substrato neurale delle due componenti del circuito fonologico. Il terzo studio valuta gli effetti della lobectomia temporale sulla memoria a lungo termine; le prove mnestiche somministrate ad una settimana dall’intervento e dopo tre mesi hanno evidenziato prestazioni patologiche che non vanno incontro ad un rapido recupero nei pazienti che hanno subito la rimozione di un circuito cortico-sottocorticale esteso dalle regioni temporo-polari a quelle temporali mesiali; lo studio anatomico mediante voxel-based lesion-symptom mapping delle aree asportate ha permesso di verificare i correlati neurali di memoria semantica e apprendimento verbale. Questi risultati confermano che i pazienti con tumore cerebrali possono fornire dati interessanti nello studio dei deficit neuropsicologici.

Abstract:
This thesis addressed two key issues. The first was the extent to which verbal short-term memory (STM) for item and order information can be differentiated in terms of their underlying neural mechanisms. The second was to analyze the relative contributions of item and order STM to vocabulary learning in bilingual (BL) and monolingual (ML) children and ML adults. The first issue was addressed with four studies. Three used electroencephalography (EEG) with ML adults, BL adults and ML children. The aim was to determine whether there is any evidence that the two types of verbal STM have different neural signatures. The fourth study used transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in ML adults to test the hypothesis that the right intraparietal sulcus (IPS) is involved in order STM but not item STM. The second issue was addressed by two behavioural studies. The first was a large-scale longitudinal study testing item and order STM in relation to natural vocabulary acquisition in 7 to 10 year old BL and ML children. The children were tested once in the beginning and once in the end of the school year. In addition, ML children learning a second language were examined in the end of the school year. The second behavioural study explored therelationship of item and order STM with new-word-learning in ML adults using artificially-created nonwords. Some evidence was found to support the view that the distinction of item and order STM is a useful one. Results of the EEG data suggested differences in patterns of neuro-electrical activity for ML and BL adults and ML children when they are performing item STM and order STM tasks. The results suggest that order STM is important for new word learning in one´s native language learning, where there has already been some exposure to this language, but not in complete novice language learners.

Selon la théorie du replay, le sommeil améliore la consolidation mnésique des apprentissages récents à travers leur réactivation. Pour tester cette hypothèse, nous avons utilisé le modèle de la somniloquie : les paroles nocturnes reflétant le contenu mental du dormeur et les informations qu’il est en train de traiter. La somniloquie survient fréquemment dans le cadre de parasomnies de sommeil lent (somnambulisme) ou de sommeil paradoxal (TCSP). Nous avons d’abord montré comment ces deux parasomnies correspondaient à la mise en gestes et en paroles du contenu mental du dormeur, avec une prédominance en sommeil lent de rêves de catastrophes que les somnambules fuyaient et en sommeil paradoxal, de rêves d’agressions d’animaux ou de personnes que les patients contre-attaquaient. Ceci soutient le concept de la fonction évolutionniste des rêves comme un entraînement virtuel à « fuir ou combattre » les menaces. Ensuite, nous avons utilisé les somniloquies pour tester si un apprentissage verbal récent était consolidé pendant le sommeil mais aussi si certains mots étaient répétés en dormant. Nous avons d’abord montré que la consolidation mnésique verbale liée au sommeil était bien conservée chez les somnambules comme chez les patients atteints de TCSP, même déments, comparée aux sujets normaux. Ensuite, nous n’avons pas identifié de réexécution de phrases apprises la veille lors des somniloquies de sommeil lent, mais avons identifié chez un patient avec TCSP, un élément sémantique évoquant une réutilisation du contexte de l’histoire. Enfin, nous avons collecté 883 verbatim nocturnes et décrit les aspects acoustico-phonétiques, prosodiques et sémantiques du langage nocturne
According to the replay theory, sleep improves memory consolidation of recent learning through their reactivation. To test this hypothesis, we used the model of sleep-talking: the words uttered reflecting the mental content of the sleeper and the information he is proceeding. Sleep-talking occur frequently within the context of slow wave sleep (sleepwalking) or REM sleep parasomnias (RBD). We first showed how these two parasomnias corresponded to the setting gestures and words of the mental content of the sleeper, with predominance during slow wave sleep of dreams featuring disasters that sleepwalkers fleeing, and during REM sleep of dreams of attacks by animals or people that subjects counterattack. This supports the concept of evolutionary function of dreams as a virtual drive to “fight or flight” threats. Then, we used sleep-talking to test if a recent verbal was not only consolidated during sleep but also if some words were repeated while sleeping. We first showed that verbal memory consolidation related to sleep was preserved in sleepwalkers as in patients with RBD, even with dementia, compared with normal subjects. Then, we haven’t identified rehearsed sentences of the material learned the day before during slow wave sleep parasomnias, but we identified in a subject with RBD, a semantic component evoking a rehearse of the context of the learned history. Finally, we collected 883 verbatim during sleep and describes the acoustic-phonetic, prosodic and semantic aspects of sleep-talking

In Visit 6, survivors are introduced to their first combined internal and external strategies: active listening and verbal rehearsal for socializing. Active listening is a compensatory strategy used in MAAT to help reduce social avoidance due to cognitive difficulties. Active listening involves using basic interviewing methods, such as summarizing and clarifying what one heard, so that survivors can compensate for parts of conversation they may miss. It presents an opportunity to clarify and “verbally rehearse” the conversational point to register and encode that point. Verbal rehearsal also provides a strategy to help become re-engaged in previously avoided social activity. Three steps can be taken to aid with active listening skills: (1) review nonverbal behaviors and paralinguistic tone; (2) review summarization (when the listener repeats back a summary of what it is they believed they heard, thus rehearsing the message); and (3) review clarification to seek assurance that what was heard was the intended message. Further, fatigue management and sleep improvement are highlighted if relevant to the survivor, with the rationale of using simple behavior change to minimize the potential impact of sleep problems and fatigue on cognitive function.

The present study investigated the morphosyntactic abilities of German-speaking individuals with Down syndrome (DS) employing a sentence repetition task. In addition, a nonword repetition task was used to assess verbal short-term memory. The performance of 16 children/adolescents with DS was compared to that of 10 typically developing (TD) children. Group comparisons as well as the inspection of standard scores that were determined based on nonverbal mental age indicated a significant morphosyntactic impairment in most individuals with DS that could neither be solely attributed to the general cognitive delay nor to the observed deficit in verbal verbal short-term memory. Further qualitative results are presented.

Abstract:
Objetivos: Dado que un mayor nivel de reserva cognitiva (RC) se ha propuesto como un factor protector relacionado con un inicio más tardío de la psicosis, mejor pronóstico y mayor adherencia y que el consumo de cannabis se ha considerado un factor importante relacionado tanto con el inicio como con el pronóstico, el objetivo de este estudio es analizar el impacto que tiene la RC como factor protector en aquellos sujetos que han padecido un primer episodio psicótico (PEP). Métodos y materiales: La muestra de este estudio procede de un proyecto multicéntrico, naturalista y longitudinal "Interacción fenotipo-genotipo. Aplicación de un modelo predictivo en primeros episodios psicóticos". Se recogieron datos sociodemográficos, clínicos, funcionales y cognitivos. Resultados y conclusiones: Un 46.20% de los pacientes con un PEP consumen cannabis y difieren de los que no únicamente en sintomatología positiva y maníaca. Del grupo de los consumidores, aquellos con un mayor nivel de RC muestran una edad de inicio de la enfermedad más tardía (p=0.004), y un mejor rendimiento cognitivo en atención, memoria de trabajo y memoria verbal (p<0.001). En cambio, en aquellos que no consumen (n=113), muestran una mejor funcionalidad (p=0.042), menos síntomas negativos (p=0.002), menos dosis de antipsicótico (p=0.021) y un mejor rendimiento cognitivo en atención, memoria de trabajo y memoria verbal (p<0.001). En línea con la literatura, la RC muestra una clara correlación con el rendimiento cognitivo en pacientes con un PEP, independientemente de si consumen cannabis o no. En los consumidores, se muestra también una correlación la edad de inicio y en los no consumidores con funcionalidad, síntomas negativos y nivel de antipsicóticos. Por lo tanto, se considera que estimular la RC en las primeras etapas de la enfermedad, o incluso en personas con un alto riesgo de sufrir psicosis, podría ser beneficiosa para prevenir o reducir su impacto.
