Abstract:
Mejice služijo kot zatočišča, preletni koridorji in larvalni ter prehranjevalni habitat za dnevne metulje. Za ugotavljanje številčnosti in obnašanja metuljev v 5-metrskem pasu na in ob mejicah v zahodnem delu Ljubljanskega barja smo uporabili transektno metodo. Transekti so bili opravljeni dvakrat na teden v primernem vremenu. Skupaj je bilo opaženih 43 vrst. Okar Maniola jurtina je bil dominantna vrsta z 58% vseh opažanj. Konec junija je bil iz vidika številčnosti in pestrosti zabeleženih vrst sezonski vrh. Večina metuljev je bila opažena na pasu vegetacije ob mejici (73%), kjer je bilo letenje najpogostejše obnašanje (59%). Pestrost metuljev na transektih je bila višja tam, kjer so bili sosednji habitati v ekstenzivni rabi. Na mejicah, ki so mejile na njive, smo ugotovili večjo pestrost in številčnost metuljev na tistih odsekih, kjer je bil med njivo in mejico ohranjen pas travniške vegetacije. Uporaba mejic se je po košnji statistično značilno povečala za 15%. Pomen mejic za dnevne metulje v Sloveniji je manj izrazit kot v severni Evropi. Kljub temu mejice predstavljajo pomemben habitat za metulje in jih je treba varovati in obnavljati.

Abstract:
Mejice so manj (pre)poznan element v kulturni pokrajini. V Sloveniji je v uradno evidenco vključenih 4522 mejic v skupni dolžini 458,5 km. Zaradi različnih dejavnikov se njihovo število in kakovost zmanjšujeta. Ker gre za pokrajinsko rastlinsko prvino, ki se v prostoru hitro spreminja, je za njeno ohranjanje in upravljanje pomembno ustrezno prepoznavanje in evidentiranje. Preverili smo več postopkov prepoznavanja mejic. Z uporabo lidarsko zajetih podatkov smo razvili dva pristopa in ju ovrednotili z vidika njune nadaljnje uporabnosti. Ugotovili smo, da je za učinkovito prepoznavanje in evidentiranje mejic pomembna ustrezna kombinacija metod, tudi geografsko terensko delo. Za ohranjanje mejic bodo, poleg metodološko ustreznega in ažurnega evidentiranja, odločilni medsektorsko usklajeni ukrepi ter ciljno ozaveščanje kmetov in širše javnosti o raznovrstnih funkcijah mejic v kulturni kmetijski pokrajini.

Website Mejing Garden hadir menjawab kebutuhan Mitra PkM yang koleksinya belum terinventarisir dengan baik. Dikemas dalam bentuk website bertujuan mengenalkan kepada warga masyarakat koleksi taman anggrek satu-satunya di Gunung Kidul agar dapat menjadi sarana dan media edukasi bagi warga yang ingin berbudidaya anggrek khususnya di kawasan pegunungungan, khususnya di Kawasan Cagar Alam Geologi (KCAG) dan Geoheritage Gunungapi Purba Gunung Ireng. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Mejing Garden terdiri dari wawancara, inventarisasi data, rancang bangun dan sosialisasi yang dilakukan selama kurang lebih 4 (empat) bulan sejak bulan September 2023. Kendala yang dihadapi Mitra Pkm berupa kendala paradigma masyarakat yang masih menganggap budidaya anggrek mahal dan tidak mudah (sulit), keterbatasan modal usaha dan link/network, musim kemarau bekepanjangan (el nino) dan hama kutu gajah yang kerap melanda dan menghabisi koleksi anggrek yang ada. Tentunya dengan hadirnya Website Mejing Garden diharapkan dokumentasi koleksi anggrek Mejing Garden terinventarisasi dengan baik dan warga makin mengenal jenis-jenis anggrek di Mejing Garden yang mudah dibudidayakan di kawasan pegunungan.

Sungai Mejing merupakan sungai yang terletak di kaki Gunung Merapi, Desa Wisata Nganggring. Sungai ini dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan domestik, seperti memasak, mandi, utilitas desa wisata, dan pemenuhanan air bagi kandang kambing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 s/d 28 September 2023 di Sungai Mejing Desa Wisata Nganggring. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu melakukan pengamatan serta pengambilan sampel langsung dan menggunakan metode grab sampling yang menunjukkan karakteristik air hanya pada saat itu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua parameter yang diukur pada Sungai Mejing dalam kondisi aman karena tidak ada yang melampaui baku mutu Permenkes No. 2 Tahun 2023. Adapun strategi pengelolaan secara berkelanjutan di Sungai Mejing dapat dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat seperti menyusun RDTRK yang mengatur sempadan sungai dan memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga ekosistem sungai dengan membentuk kader lingkungan dan komunitas hijau

Abstract:
The Paguyuban Mejing Tabon citizens are people who have diverse religious backgrounds. Local wisdom which contains the values of religious moderation is an important factor in harmony between residents, so that social conflict can be avoided. This is in line with the SDGs concept of the United Nations where there are pillars that focus on Social Development, namely promoting peace and justice. Therefore, this research aims to explain the local wisdom that exists in the Mejing Tabon Community, reveal the correlation between local wisdom and the values of religious moderation and explain the contribution of local wisdom to achieving the UN SDGs. This research is important to emphasize the importance of preserving local wisdom and implementing the values of religious moderation to avoid conflicts based on religious differences. So that it becomes a form of contribution to achieving the SDGs. This research uses qualitative methods with a sociological approach. The results of this research are 4 indicators of religious moderation, including National Commitment, Tolerance, Anti-Radicalism, and Local Cultural Accommodation. The application of religious moderation in the local wisdom of the Tabon Mejing Community Association includes: the Tabon Mejing Association Logo Contains National Commitment; Tolerance in Interfaith Prayer Activities at Religious Celebrations; Mejing Tabon's philosophy of Rawuh, Lungguh, and Aruh as an effort to ward off radicalism; and Gagrak Ngayogyakarta Clothing as a form of accommodation to local culture.

Title: Feasibility Identification of the Railway Track Setback in Mejing and Sedayu, Yogyakarta for a Public Space The availability of public space in an urban area/city is very important. Apart from functioning as regional landmarks, open spaces also function as areas for community interaction. This study aims to identify the feasibility of the lost space area along the railroad boundaries in Mejing and Sedayu as a public space. The research method used is to conduct surveys and interviews with people who use these two railway track border spaces. The survey variables used are comfort, relaxation, passive engagement, active engagement and discovery. The results of the study found that the public space on the Mejing railway track border, from the point of view of comfort, received a poor rating with a percentage of 47.62%, while in Sedayu it received almost the same rating, which was not good with a percentage of 43.14%. When viewed from the relaxation indicator, the open space on the border of Mejing and Sedayu rails received a good rating with a percentage of 52.53% and 52.67%. Meanwhile, the level of open space security at the Mejing railway track border stated that the assessment was good with an average percentage of 53.17% and at the Sedayu rail border received a poor rating with a percentage value of 42.17%. The factor of the low feasibility of open space at the railroad border is a lack of facilities, cleanliness, parking management and the comfort of open space users.

Abstract:
El objetivo de la investigación recoge los resultados en la busqueda de mejoras en la calidad del proceo de reencauchado por la aplicación del Kaizen en la empresa Reencauchadora Beto SRL. Los objetivos específicos buscaron determinar la mejora en la calidad del producto, incrementa la satisfacción de los clientes y mejora el desempeño de los empleados. Por su finalidad, la investigación es aplicada, por su nivel, descriptiva y explicative. Su enfoque, es cuantitativo y el diseño es cuasi experimental, Por su alcance temporal, la investigación es longitudinal. Respecto a las técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos, se usó el cronómetro y la observación directa. Respecto a los hallazgos, la calidad del proceso mejoró de 88.72% a 97.36%, un incremento de 8.64, que equivale al 12.1%. La calidad del producto mejoró de 86.05% a 96.99%, un incremento de 10.94, que en valor porcentual es de 13%. La satisfacción del cliente mejoró de 89.96% a 97.47%, habiendo un incremento de 7.51, que equivale a un 12.57% en incremento porcentual. Finalmente, la satisfacción del cliente mejoró desde un 89.96% a 97.47%, habiendo un incremento de 7.51, que en valor porcentual es de 12.57%.

Lecture philosophique et psychanalytique du roman hispano-americain de la deuxieme moitie du 20e siecle. A partir d'une analyse de 22 romans, l'auteur met en lumiere l'essence du desir qui tenaille les principaux personnages du corpus, autrement dit leur manque-a-etre. La reside la source de leur malheur indepassable. L'objet du desir, toujours fuyant, renvoie les personnages a leur absolue dependance d'un autre desir pour acceder a l'identite. L'eparpillement de la conscience desirante se traduit litterairement par une structure ouverte dans les romans analyses et affecte la nature meme de l'ecriture romanesque. S. Sarduy, s. Elizondo, j. Cortazar, j. Donoso, m. Aguinis et m. Mejia vallejo, notamment, rendent cette idee manifeste. La quete du pere, source de la loi et fondement de la reconnaissance, conditionne l'acces a l' identite. Le concept lacanien de la metaphore paternelle permet de montrer que s'il y a forclusion du nom-du-pere la conscience sombre dans le desastre imaginaire ou elle se nourrit de son propre tourment. La forclusion du nom-du-pere et de dieu-pere, loin d'affaiblir l'efficience de la loi, peut, au contraire, la rendre davantage obsedante et susciter le desir du parricide. Quete du pere, constat de sa carence et desir du parricide sont frequents et peuvent coexister dans les romans hispano-americains contemporains. Parallelement au malheur de la conscience individuelle des personnages et a leur problematique identitaire, ce travail ouvre sur une problematique sociohistorique en etroite connexion avec celle des personnages romanesques
Philosophical and psychoanalytical reading of the spanish-american novel of the second half of the twentieth century. From an analysis of twenty-two novels, the author brings out the essence of the desire which tortures the main characters of the corpus, in other words their manque-a-etre in which the source of their insuperable wretchedness lies. The ever-evanescing object of desire sends the characters back to their absolute dependence on another desire to reach identity. The scatteration of the desiring consciousness finds its literary expression through the open structure in the analysed novels and affects the very nature of fiction writing. S. Sarduy, s. Elizondo, j. Cortazar, j. Donoso, m. Aguinis et m. Mejia vallejo, among others, make this idea patent. The quest of the father who is the origin of the law and the foundation of recognition is a prerequisite for the access to identity. Lacan's concept of la metaphore paternelle makes it possible to show that if there is forclusion du nom-du-pere the consciousness sinks into imaginary disaster, in which it feeds on its own torment. The forclusion du nom-du-pere and de dieu-pere, far from weakening the efficiency of the law, can on the contrary make it more obsessing and rouse parricidal desire. The quest of the father, the discovery of his absence and the parricidal desire are frequent and can coexist in contemporary spanish-american novels. Along with the wretchedness of the individual consciousness the work opens up on a social historical problematique

Abstract:
The paper focuses on the crime analysis in the 32 municipalities at the Schengen border in the period 2010–2019. The results of the analysis of police crime statistics show that crimes against property present the most frequent form of crime in municipalities at the Schengen border, followed by forgery of documents, threat, the prohibited crossing of the state border or territory, counterfeiting or destruction of business documents, and minor bodily injury. In the analysed period, the number of crimes against public order and peace increased significantly (especially number of crimes of the prohibited crossing of the state border or territory), which can be [at least partially] attributed to the migrant crisis in recent years. In the period 2010–2019, these forms of crime increased mainly in the following municipalities Brežice, Cirkulane, Ilirska Bistrica, Krško, Podlehnik, Razkrižje and Šentjernej. Overall, the number of crimes, similarly as elsewhere in Slovenia, increases with the size of the municipality and the number of population in the municipality.

In an interesting recent paper Martinez-Herrero and Mejias established new existence theorems regarding the uniqueness of solutions to inverse problems involving homogeneous sources.1 In my pa per some of the theorems are generalized to planar, secondary, quasi-homogeneous2 sources, and explicit solutions are presented to two inversion problems with sources of this class, assuming that their normalized spectra are the same at each source point. I show that if the high spatial-frequency components of the degree of spatial coherence may be neglected, the far-zone spectrum of the emitted light uniquely determines both the normalized source spectrum and the degree of coherence of the source. It also follows from this analysis that the scaling law,3 previously derived as a sufficiency condition, is also a necessary condition for spectral invariance on propagation.

Abstract The objective of this paper is to investigate the transport and incremental oil recovery associated with Polyethylene Oxide (PEO) compared to Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide (HPAM) through a series of corefloods in low permeability carbonate cores for use in enhanced oil recovery (EOR). Recent studies have brought attention to PEO's improved injectivity in low permeability carbonate reservoirs compared to acrylamide-based polymers offering a promising alternative (Mejia et al., 2022a; Mejia et al., 2022b; Trine et al., 2022). Five two-phase experiments were conducted in Indiana limestone cores (permeability <100 mD) with PEO and HPAM of similar molecular weights (4 MM Dalton) and viscosity; they were designed to measure incremental oil recovery for both polymers. Tracer tests were completed to determine heterogeneity. Brine was displaced by a 50-cP oil, and initial oil saturations averaged 55.8%. The oil was displaced initially with a waterflood for 3-5 pore volumes. The waterflood, on average, recovered 60.7% of original oil in place (OOIP). Oil cut was consistently zero at the conclusion of the waterflood suggesting the cores were at or near residual oil saturation. The polymer flood followed the waterflood for three pore volumes or until oil cut was zero. HPAM was injected in the first two experiments, and PEO was injected in the final three. When HPAM was injected, oil production in terms of OOIP from the polymer flood was minimal (average 2.2%) which was expected since oil saturation was presumed near residual. However, in the experiments when PEO was injected, oil production from the polymer flood averaged 13.5%, suggesting that residual oil saturation was decreased by the polymer. PEO was consistently shown to produce more oil compared to HPAM. This work suggests that PEO may result in higher oil recoveries and reduced residual oil saturation under certain conditions.

ABSTRACT Coupled hydro-geomechanical processes in the oil and gas industry are usually simulated through the one-way strategy considering only the impact of fluid flow on geomechanics. However, depending on field and operation conditions, geomechanics can also affect the fluid flow. For those cases, more robust and accurate strategies must be adopted. Unfortunately, they require substantial computational effort and are time-consuming. This study reviews the coupling strategies for hydro-geomechanical problems and presents some algorithms that significantly improve their performance and stability. The fully-implicit, the two-way iterative, the two-way explicit, and the one-way strategies are implemented in an in-house framework to make fair comparisons among their results. Some numerical tests are performed considering several field conditions, such as heterogeneous rock properties and different geometrical settings between the reservoir and the surrounding rocks. The accuracy, stability, and required computational effort in each coupling strategy are discussed. The study shows that depending on the coupling level, one or another approach can be advantageous, producing accurate and fast solutions. The paper discussions can orientate in selecting adequate coupling strategies for engineering problems. INTRODUCTION Hydro-geomechanical processes in porous media are governed by two equations: mass balance and equilibrium of forces. As those equations are mutually dependent, a natural solution consists in solving them through a single system of coupled equations. This monolithic or fully-implicit strategy has been successfully applied in conceptual models (Sheng et al., 2003; Quevedo & Romanel, 2008; Huang et al., 2015; Mejia et al., 2019). However, due to high computational costs or ill-conditioned systems, the nonlinear behavior of porous materials may make the full-implicit approach unfeasible for large-scale applications. Alternatively, sequential strategies have been used to link flow and geomechanics analysis codes by exchanging coupling terms. Such splitting in the solution raises the possibility of using different simulators to take advantage of the most appropriate solution methods. For example, different spatial discretizations can be adopted for reservoir flow modeling (limited to the reservoir region) and geomechanical modeling (including the reservoir and surrounding rocks).
