Abstract:
The article describes the specifics of pedagogical training courses for residents and postgraduate students. Analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature made it possible to assess the pedagogical activity of a doctor, and substantiate the need for its study in residency. Analysis of pedagogical training vectors for residents at the Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University showed that the training program includes following vectors: development of pedagogical competencies for work in “school for patients” and psychological and pedagogical support in the process of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation; ensuring the preservation of the patient dignity; facilitating patient-centered care. It also describes the specifics of the pedagogical training of postgraduate students, related to activities of a higher school teacher: during this stage of training, competencies are formed that are focused on pedagogical activity, teaching at a medical university. As part of the training of postgraduate students at a medical university, knowledge and skills are developed in the planning and implementation of the pedagogical process in a higher educational medical institution. At the same time, for the doctor-teacher practitioner, the importance of all the competencies that are included in the pedagogy program for residents remains. Thus, the principle of the continuity of post-graduate pedagogical training is implemented.

Abstract:
The theoretical training of future doctors in Russia has been and remains at a satisfactory level, but the practical training of general practitioners and other specialties has deteriorated significantly, which is influenced by subjective and objective factors. Although the theoretical training of the sixth-year students is still at a satisfactory level, the practical training of doctors after graduation is far behind. This is due to the fact that the departments of internal medicine, which lay the foundations for the training of a doctor of any specialty, are very poorly equipped with diagnostic, scientific and insufficiently — educational equipment that should be used in the educational process. Every year, more than 10 thousand people of the "specialist" (Master's) educational level graduate from the medical and pharmaceutical education institutions of the Ministry of Health. At the same time, there is no effective system for predicting the need for medical personnel yet. The existing registers of medical workers do not reflect the real picture, because they are built on Soviet principles. The reform of the financing of the health care system, launched in 2017, will lead to a change in the number and functional responsibilities of medical personnel. Accordingly, any long-term forecasting will require adjustments. Multiple myeloma-paraproteinemic hemoblastosis, which is characterized by malignant tumor proliferation of plasma cells of a single clone with hyperproduction of monoclonal immunoglobulin or free monoclonal chains of immunoglobulins, is a fairly complex disease that requires significant diagnostic and practical efforts for appropriate treatment. That is why the importance of teaching the diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma to medical students is an urgent task.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to determining the total number of endocrine disorders of the thyroid gland among children with speech disorders based on medical ultrasound data. The author of the article outlines that due to the fact that the prevalence of speech disorders is 100% among children with hypothyroidism, the following question deserves attention: “How many endocrine disorders can occur in children with speech disorders?”. Methods of research. Within the framework of the social and dispatching work of specialists of the psychological-medical-pedagogical commission, the referral of children with speech disorders to a medical ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland was organized. At the same time, none of the children had previously been examined by an endocrinologist or received appropriate treatment. The first group of children attended speech therapy classes at the Center for Psychological and Pedagogical Rehabilitation and Correction in Nizhneudinsk in the 2013-2014 academic year. The second group of children attended preschool educational institution №208 in the 2016-2017 academic year. The study allowed to draw the following key conclusions: in children with speech disorders in 40% of cases do have previously undetected endocrine disorders that deserve close attention and study by medical professionals, both of primary health care institution (Institute of Pediatrics) and pediatric endocrinologists; 29% of children with speech disorders potentially need the help of an endocrinologist. The algorithm for sending parents of children with speech disorders to consult medical specialists, whose help the child may need is presented in the article. The results of the study may be of interest to a wide range of medical and pedagogical specialists working in the system of school psychological and pedagogical councils, central and territorial psychological and medical and pedagogical commissions in the current conditions of the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES) implementation.

Abstract:
In this comprehensive review, we aimed to discuss the current state-of-the-art medical imaging for pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (PPGLs) diagnosis and treatment. Despite major medical improvements, PPGLs, as with other neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), leave clinicians facing several challenges; their inherent particularities and their diagnosis and treatment pose several challenges for clinicians due to their inherent complexity, and they require management by multidisciplinary teams. The conventional concepts of medical imaging are currently undergoing a paradigm shift, thanks to developments in radiomic and metabolic imaging. However, despite active research, clinical relevance of these new parameters remains unclear, and further multicentric studies are needed in order to validate and increase widespread use and integration in clinical routine. Use of AI in PPGLs may detect changes in tumor phenotype that precede classical medical imaging biomarkers, such as shape, texture, and size. Since PPGLs are rare, slow-growing, and heterogeneous, multicentric collaboration will be necessary to have enough data in order to develop new PPGL biomarkers. In this nonsystematic review, our aim is to present an exhaustive pedagogical tool based on real-world cases, dedicated to physicians dealing with PPGLs, augmented by perspectives of artificial intelligence and big data.

Abstract:
The article presents the concept of integrative medical-psychological-pedagogical care, highlights the theoretical foundations of comprehensive care for people with disorders of the dental system. The historical preconditions for developing integrative medical-psychological-pedagogical help in Ukraine are considered. Based on the historical-theoretical analysis of the data, the historical preconditions and features of the systemic care for persons with disorders of the dental system, burdened with speech disorders are revealed. Objective and subjective diagnostic methods for determining the complexity of speech disorders and their significance for speech therapy diagnosis are described. Unfortunately, today in our country, there is no clear system of integrative medical, psychological and pedagogical care for people suffering from dental disorders. Therefore, it is important not only to explain to parents the need for comprehensive rehabilitation, but also to promote the formation of close relationships between different fields of medicine and pedagogy. Physicians and educators need to be trained to make comprehensive differential diagnoses, to solve the problem of integrative diagnosis, correction and further rehabilitation for people with disorders of the dental system, burdened with speech disorders. Specialists must be fully versed in the technology of detecting speech disorders in the presence of dental disorders. In this case, orthodontists and speech therapists should work closely throughout the treatment period. Only in this way, it will be possible to achieve the most stable result of rehabilitation, to fix the correctly established sound pronunciation, to promote the best psychological readiness of the person for disturbance and perception of himself/herself and the world around.

Abstract:
Introduction There is increasing number of head and neck tumors. Modern medical technologies allow to save lives, but lead to cosmetic and functional defects. DSM-V clarifies that “life threatening illness or debilitating medical condition is not necessarily considered a traumatic event”. However, cancer diagnosis and treatment influence on mental health. Patients after surgery of head and neck tumors need special rehabilitation, because of loss or impairment of speech function. This significantly reduces communicative potential, changes social status, reduces rehabilitation potential. Objectives During 6 years we have conducted studies to improve methods of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics, optimize speech therapy and psychological support for increasing effectiveness of speech rehabilitation. Methods Speech rehabilitation was carried out with correctional-pedagogical technologies and psychological support. We used Achieving Tendency Scale, Questionnaire measures of Affiliative Tendency and Sensitivity to Rejection, narrative interview, Scale of speech utterance implementation, rehabilitation potential evaluation, general condition assessment by ECOG and Karnovsky, auditory assessment. Speech therapy included methods for eliminating dysphagia, normalizing speech breathing, improving utterance realization. Psychological support kept meaning-narrative approach. Results Number of patients without difficulties or with slight difficulties in speech utterance implementation increased by 57.1%. Number of patients with high rehabilitation potential increased by 48.8%. Conclusions Psychological and pedagogical rehabilitation and resocialization after surgery of head and neck tumors has positive effect on mental health of patients, forms special rehabilitation motivation, helps to avoid disability and to transform life in new conditions. Disclosure No significant relationships.

Abstract:
Therapy is not simply a domain or form of medical practice, but also a metaphor for and a performance of medicine, of its functions and status, of its distinctive mode of action upon the world. This article examines medical treatment or therapy (in Russianlechenie), as concept and practice, in what came to be known in Russia as defectology (defektologiia) – the discipline and occupation concerned with the study and care of children with developmental pathologies, disabilities and special needs. Defectology formed an impure, occupationally ambiguous, therapeutic field, which emerged between different types of expertise in the niche populated by children considered ‘difficult to cure’, ‘difficult to teach’, and ‘difficult to discipline’. The article follows the multiple genealogy of defectological therapeutics in the medical, pedagogical and juridical domains, across the late tsarist and early Soviet eras. It argues that the distinctiveness of defectological therapeutics emerged from the tensions between its biomedical, sociopedagogical and moral-juridical framings, resulting in ambiguous hybrid forms, in which medical treatment strategically interlaced with education or upbringing, on the one hand, and moral correction, on the other.

Abstract:
The article examines professional competence development and presents the study on psychological-pedagogical potential for future specialists’ professional competence development during modern medical professional training. The psychological-pedagogical bases for development of future doctors’ professional competence in the field of emotions in the modern medical universities are presented. The key competencies of doctors, contributing to professional identity development, professionalism formation are disclosed. The development of students’ emotional characteristics is one of the factors forming their emotional competence. The stages of emotional competence formation during professional training are analyzed. Main components of professional competency in the field of emotions are selected. The structural components of emotional competence are described. The essence and the concept of emotional competence are revealed. A general strategy, structure, the basic principles, methodological approaches and content for emotional competence development are presented. In order to form emotional competence as a doctor’s professionally significant quality, psychological and pedagogical disciplines should be changed to help future doctors to organize their activities so that they would take into account the role of emotions in treatment. In order to determine effective teaching methods, and, thus, to form the discussed skills, students’ individual differences, including those in the field of emotions, should be taken into account. The psychological features of future doctors’ emotional competence formation are: taking into account students’ age characteristics, their cognitive mental processes, general communicative skills (the ability to be attentive and observant, to understand patients’ mental states, to establish verbal, nonverbal contacts, to present themselves, etc.). We have concluded that medical students’ emotional competence can be formed by introducing of special courses, trainings and educational programs into the educational process. The findings have allowed us to presents recommendations for further research.

Abstract:
The article reveals the role of synergetic approach to psychological and pedagogical support of optimization of the quality of life of a person with disabilities, acting as an integrator of methodological approaches of sociocentric and anthropocentric concepts. The synergetic approach allows us to consider psychological and pedagogical support for optimizing the quality of life of persons with disabilities as a process, largely self-organizing, not based on direct cause-and-effect relationships, and occurring ambiguously; the process due to a variety of internal and external influences; natural and random; predictable and natural, ordered and chaotic. For such elaborate system as the personality with disabilities we cannot impose compulsory methods of treatment. Therefore the process of psychological and pedagogical support for optimizing the quality of life of the personality with disabilities is based on the main principle - voluntariness. Especially it has to be observed when choosing methods and ways of rehabilitation actions and to be guided by regulated, but at the same time freedom of choice for the disabled person. Any elaborate system has, as a rule, not one but a set of its own, satisfying its nature, ways of development. Thus, psychological and pedagogical support of optimization of the quality of life of the personality with disabilities promotes self-expression, self-affirmation and self-development of the personality through the actions which are freely chosen, multidirectional, sometimes spontaneous and promote optimization of rehabilitation process. Using the ideas of synergetics, we tried to prove for the first time the process of psychological and pedagogical support for optimizing the quality of life of a person with disabilities in the conditions of medical stationary institution.

Abstract:
The article reveals the peculiarities of nature therapy as a health-improving tech-nology in the primary school process. It is about new priorities in modern environ-mental education. In the definitive sense, nature therapy is the positive effect of natural information on the pupil in order to form an active operational and activity position and maintain his or her personal health. The article focuses on the technological aspect of the nature therapy. That is, this phenomenon is considered as a specific pedagogical technology of preservation and correction of health and activation of cognitive activity of pupils of primary classes on the principles of influence of objects of the natural envi-ronment, as a pedagogical “treatment” by means of nature in the educational process of primary school. The attention is focused on the physiological, medical, psychological and pedagogical components of the technology described. The attention is drawn to the fact that the technology of preparing the future teach-er of primary classes for the use of nature therapy in work with younger pupils on the basis of interdisciplinarity and integration, involves the formation of the system of value attitude to nature, knowledge, skills and abilities that enable students to use the means of nature therapy in the training, and subsequently in professional activity.

Abstract:
The constantly growing amount of new knowledge, development of science-based diagnostic methods, effective treatment technologies, emergence of the latest innovative technologies and means of communication require revolutionary changes in the system of medical education. One of the important trends in the development of modern education has been the widespread introduction of various distance learning technologies. The article considers the main tasks of distance learning in the medical field and scientific approaches to its implementation. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to analyze and highlight the principles of distance learning. For effective organization of distance learning it is necessary to follow the basic didactic principles and to apply information-receptive and research methods. To ensure effectiveness of distance learning, basic distance learning technologies such as case technologies, TV technologies, and web platforms can be recommended. The experience of implementing distance learning at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy has shown that in the conditions of quarantine restrictions, the introduction of mixed computer and Internet technologies is optimal. ZOOM and Google Classroom platforms have been found out to be the most adapted and easy to use for practical classes. However, the problem of acquiring practical skills by medical students is still remaining unsolved, and in particularly: work with a microscope, preparation of drugs, cultivation of microorganisms, production and accounting of antibioticograms, serological reactions, etc. Thus, the pedagogical and organizational principles of medical education contribute to the introduction of new information technologies into the educational context, but now can be considered only as part of the conventional teaching.

Abstract:
Purpose - to analyze and summarize the international experience of using developmental screening of children in the first years of life for early detection of developmental delays and to improve the effectiveness of correctional and developmental strategies, taking into account the achievements of modern medical science and practice. The article presents modern approaches to the identification of developmental delays in young children in medical practice using screening tools, which makes it possible to establish risks in a timely manner and determine the route of assistance to the child. This model involves strengthening cooperation between specialists in the medical, psychological, pedagogical and social spheres among themselves, as well as between specialists and parents. The importance of involving parents in the screening process, using their knowledge to obtain comprehensive and complete information on the child’s development is emphasized. Medical and psychological-pedagogical support for the family of a child with health disorders and developmental delays, in the process of which specialists help parents create a special developmental environment at home to meet the child’s special needs in a timely manner, is the most effective form of comprehensive assistance, including early intervention services. Information is given on the international experience of implementing the screening system for the development of young children and its effectiveness. It is shown that the use of screening assessment and monitoring of development in medical practice creates prerequisites for identifying problems in development at an early stage, preserving health, improving the well-being of children and families that raise them, allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment or development activities, minimize existing and prevent secondary developmental delays in the child. It is shown that the involvement of primary health care doctors in developmental screening is an important stage in the formation of a system of modern care for young children and their families. The necessity of introducing developmental screening into everyday practice, into the work process of primary medical care specialists and ensuring their appropriate training has been proven. No conflict of interest was declared by the authors.

AbstractPurposePeer review of treatment plans has been used to improve planning consistency, decrease the need for replanning and improve quality of care through the safe delivery of high-quality radiotherapy plans. This narrative review summarises the clinical benefits and addresses the implementation of peer review of treatment plans in undergraduate medical dosimetry and radiation therapy training.DiscussionThere are encouraging results of peer review for advanced treatment planning techniques such as Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy techniques in clinical practice. Peer review can be used as a tool to improve students’ knowledge of organ-at-risk contouring, treatment plan critique and quality assurance. These desirable treatment planning skills can be easily transferred to clinical settings. Moreover, there are several potential pedagogical benefits such as improvement in student engagement, better communication skills and provision of synchronous and asynchronous feedback that can positively impact student success and future employment. However, there are several challenges in facilitating its implementation in university settings.ConclusionEmbedding skills in peer review of treatment plans at undergraduate teaching level can be a powerful tool to impart clinical treatment planning knowledge. This narrative review provides a basis on which to develop an exploratory study of structured peer review activities in a training environment.

Abstract:
Introduction: Recently, there has been a change in the perception of education of children with chronic illnesses in the medical facility. The researcher conducted an extensive analysis of literature as well as legal acts allowing to show key moments for the education of students with chronic disease in Poland, various positions, theories, concepts and ideas that can be attributed to the status of a paradigm. Research Aim: The aim of this article is to outline the historical context of paradigm shifts and their determinants in the field of educating children with chronic illnesses in a medical facility situated in Poland. The examination of specific pedagogical approaches, as outlined in the literature, pertains to pivotal shifts in the education of children with chronic illnesses within medical institutions in Poland, as well as paradigmatic changes in therapeutic pedagogy. Evidence-based Facts: The ongoing discussions relate to how to care for and educate a child with chronic illness and point to significant changes in this regard. Currently changing paradigms within the theory, methodology and conducted research on chronic diseases determine the practice of educational activities towards children with chronic illnesses. The development of therapeutic pedagogy, as is also the case in other areas related to the functioning of people with disease, is now driven mainly by the humanist paradigm. Summary: The results of the analysis provide valuable insights and improve comprehension of the educational situation of students who suffer from a chronic illness. Moreover, the theoretical analyses conducted suggest that the educational paradigm offered to students in medical institutions, based on the operational theories and concepts, requires alterations that prioritize subjectivity, autonomy, self-sufficiency, and self-governance.

Abstract:
Introduction. Currently, Russia does not have a scientifically grounded medical and psychological support system for disabled children (DC), which allows involving them in classes in children and youth schools of adaptive physical education, preparing the country’s Paralympic DC reserve. Aim of the study. To develop and create a medical support system for the Paralympic DC reserve, capable of improving their quality of life and forming a medical and social lift. Materials and methods. Children aged from 1 year to 18 years had cerebral palsy (CP) with impaired motor functions of levels I and II according to the global motor function assessment system and the Manual Abilities Classification system and their families were monitored. A comprehensive assessment of the somatic, neurological, mental and nutritional status of CP children) was carried out, and a wide range of comorbid pathology was described. After the rehabilitation treatment with the use of complex personalized rehabilitation programs, dynamic monitoring of the condition of patients with cerebral palsy was carried out, followed by an assessment of the effectiveness of rehabilitation treatment and the impact on it the psychological readiness of patients, their parents to engage in Paralympic sports, as well as the socio-economic level of the family. The attitude of CP children and their parents to participate in the Paralympic movement was studied. All patients underwent a comprehensive study of somatic, neurological, orthopaedic, psychological and nutritional status. The socio-hygienic characteristics of families and the rehabilitation potential of DC and their families have been determined. Results. Children with cerebral palsy have a wide range of comorbid pathology, which requires the involvement of specialists of different profiles in the curation of patients. The use of complex personalized rehabilitation programs allows achieving positive dynamics after 14 days of rehabilitation treatment. Early introduction of botulinum therapy in the rehabilitation program of CP patients provides higher efficiency of rehabilitation treatment. Treatment of protein-energy deficiency in CP children should include correction of the diet using specialized products, metabolic therapy, enzyme and complex vitamin preparations. Differentiated medical, psychological and pedagogical counselling of parents of CP children will allow optimizing the solution of the state problem regarding the timely inclusion of persons with disabilities in adaptive physical education classes. Conclusion. The development and creation of a comprehensive medical and psychological support system solve an urgent medical and social problem, ensuring the integration of DC into society and improving the quality of life of both a sick child and his family members.

Abstract:
Diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adolescent patients may be problematic, because of the broad spectrum of symptoms. Population research display heritable character. The function of dopaminergic, adrenergic, and serotoninergic systems is disordered in different ways in patients, who suffer from this disease. Purpose: The aim of this article is to show the actual view on the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in teenage patients.. Results: In the treatment of ADHD the most important thing is pedagogical therapy as well as cooperation of parents and medical crew. In some particular cases pharmacologic treatment should also be included in therapeutic process, which is described in this review. Methylphenidate is the most frequent drug used in the treatment and that is why we focused on the complex description of the substance. Conclusions: Teachers and the school responsible for teaching these children must adapt didactic methods to the severity of the disorder. It is valuable to conduct the drug in the therapy of teenagers whose parents ready to cooperate, always with psychiatric supervision. In the process of pharmacotherapy, it is crucial to include breaks, for example during vacations. Psychostimulants are highly addictive substances, which is why many researchers are uncertain about the routine prescription of methylphenidate.

Abstract:
Objective. To analyze the awareness of medical students about COVID-19 and the preventive strategies.Materials and methods. The methods of theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of research, questionnaires, observations, method of statistical analysis of empirical data (j*-Fisher’s criteria) were used. The study sample included 156 medical students.Results. The performed study has made it possible to determine the theoretical foundations for social awareness about COVID-19 and the preventive strategies in medical students. The analysis of the socio-psychological aspects of the medical students’ attitude to COVID-19 has showed that above all the study participants see the absence of protocol treatment and specific medications as the greatest danger. The students rate their awareness of questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic quite highly, but at the same time future medical professionals do not show much interest in getting new information about the coronavirus disease.Conclusion. The most important task of medical education is the formation of medical students’ awareness of using various methods and means for COVID-19 prevention. The professional formation of health workers and the effectiveness of their subsequent professional activity depend on the formation of their own social norms, understanding of the relationship between a health status and the use of means and methods to contain the spread of infection in the situation of a pandemic.

Abstract:
Within a province (Nampula) of one of the world's poorest countries, Mozambique, the spread of traditional medicine is particularly significant. This study aims to delve into the main figures of traditional medicine as well as the way in which they manage the care pathways in Nampula City. This treatment must be framed within a very specific cultural, cosmological, and ethical context, that of the Makhuwa culture, the largest language group in Mozambique. The research was carried out through direct observation work between 2015 and 2018, with the advantage that the author is a Nampula-born researcher and a native Emakhuwa speaker. This circumstance allowed her to understand the dialogues and interviews done on site without the need for interpreters. The result was that important local cultural elements, together with the almost total absence of modern hospital facilities and conventional doctors made the city of Nampula an urban center where traditions of medical care related to traditional knowledge still prevail, and where caregivers perform social, pedagogical and medical functions. Keywords: local knowledge, Emakhuwa Culture, medical dialogue, diseases

Abstract:
Hip joint dysplasia among children - congenital hypoplasia of femoral head, or congenital increased mobility of the joint due to the weakness of the ligamentous and muscular apparatus. Such a violation of the hip joint elements development (one or both) leads to an incorrect interposition of the joint structures, whereby the femoral head is displaced relative to the articular surface, formed subluxation, pre-dislocation or joint dislocation. This is a severe and common disease of the musculoskeletal system. Since medical treatment for dysplasia among newborn is not provided, and surgery is required only in extreme cases, therefore, active methods in the fight against this pathology are: specific orthopedic devices, physiotherapy, massage and exercise therapy. Thanks to these components, treatment therapy will strengthen the muscles, accelerate recovery, it will be fast and unobtrusive for the child. In this regard, we have developed the structure and content of physical rehabilitation for infants with hip joint dysplasia. This course was designed for four weeks and was developed a set of rehabilitation measures. The content of the course of physical rehabilitation includes orthopedic correction with the help of special devices, massage, therapeutic gymnastics in combination with fitball gymnastics and therapeutic swimming, physiotherapy. To assess the effectiveness of the physical rehabilitation program developed by us, we conduct an ascertaining pedagogical experiment - testing, clearly demonstrating the functional and motor state of the hip joints of the subjects before the beginning of the forming pedagogical experiment and at its end.

Abstract:
Introduction. University pedagogical activity and unfavorable factors typical for the educational process have a negative impact on the health and contribute to the morbidity of teachers Objective. To evaluate the influence of occupational activity on the resistance of the body of medical school teachers. Material and Methods. Objects of study: teachers of Karaganda Medical University of three age categories (up to 30 years, 30-49 years and 50 years or more). An analysis of the incidence was carried out on sheets of temporary disability. The sociological survey was conducted on the questionnaires to assess the preventive, medical activity and self-assessment of the teachers’ own health. Statistical processing was made with the use of Statistica 8.0. Results. The incidence rate of university professors with temporary disability due to underestimated cases of diseases was revealed to be hidden (latent) in nature. A questionnaire survey revealed that 66.6% ÷ 85.0% of respondents had health problems. Only half of the respondents (55.6 ÷ 45.7%) rated their state of health as good, but this rating decreased with age (21.9%). According to nosology, in the structure of diseases among teachers of medical schools in the second and third age groups (30-49 years and 50 years and more), diseases of the cardiovascular system (52.6% and 61.9%, respectively), the musculoskeletal system (55.3% and 47.6%), the digestive system (36.4% ÷ 42.9%). The main reasons for the low level of health and the high incidence of medical teachers were: insufficient physical activity, poor nutrition, insufficient attention to their own health, failure to comply with treatment-and-prophylactic recommendations, self-treatment. Conclusion. An assessment of the resistance of an organism of university teachers in terms of incidence rates with a temporary disability, based on disability records, cannot be a reliable criterion. Using sociological methods of a questionnaire survey allows getting reliable information about the true incidence rates, identifying the causes of their growth, and can also be a related tool in the development of medical and preventive measures aimed at preserving the health of university teachers.

Abstract:
The objective of this article is to compare two antagonistic pedagogical models such as the beginnings of Escuela del Mar (1922), directed by Pere Vergés, and Escuela 26 de enero (1943) directed by Enric Gibert, in full francoism. The centers, in Barcelona, were in contact with nature. The first was located on the Barceloneta beach, and the second in the Guinardó neighborhood, where it is still located. From a methodology focused on the analysis of dimensions and study variables, differences, and similarities of the two centers in the initial moments of their creation are highlighted. For this, the treatment of primary documentary sources –periodic and non-periodic publications– has been used, together with the analysis of images of the time. Secondary sources contextualize all argumentative text. It is proved that both models promoted a way in principle hygienic-medical to see education, although in the case of Escuela del Mar there appeared a philosophy related to the students and the ideas of the New School and, instead, to Escuela 26 de enero, although there are also glimpses of pedagogical renewal activities, there is a Catholic and authoritarian model of submission of the child and, in short, of indoctrination, much more significant.

Abstract:
Aim of the study: to develop an additional professional competence «Emergency care in cardiac arrest» and to evaluate a set of tools for its development among the graduating students majoring in general medicine (code 31.05.01).Material and methods. The study was done in two stages. During the first stage, within the framework of PC (professional competence)-11 «Readiness to participate in providing first medical aid in conditions requiring urgent medical intervention» an additional professional competence «Emergency care in cardiac arrest» was developed with the definition of performance assessment. During the second one, the scientific research was conducted at the medical institute of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University during the study of Anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care, which has been included in the block 1 discipline (module) list, being a basic part of the General Medicine curriculum (code 31.05.01). The study involved 140 six-year students majoring in general medicine (code 31.05.01). The students were divided into two groups. The main group included 80 students who studied in 2021 (average age 25±1.5 years), while the control group comprised 60 participants who studied in 2019 (average age 25.9±1.6 years, retrospective analysis).Results. An additional professional competence «Emergency care in cardiac arrest» and its stratified structure have been developed. Specific elements were elaborated for each component stratum. Based on the developed elements, which were mastered by the student in the process of training, the necessary competence was developed. The novel pedagogical technologies in the curriculum contributed to more effective learning and development of the competence. The levels of development of additional professional competence «Emergency care in cardiac arrest» differed between the groups. Most students in the control group had a threshold level of competence. The basic and advanced levels of competence were significantly higher among the students in the main group compared with the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion. We have shown the necessity of developing an additional professional competence «Emergency treatment in case of cardiac arrest» within the «Readiness to participate in providing first medical aid in conditions requiring urgent medical intervention» PC-11. We have successfully implemented and validated in practice the system of development of additional professional competence using pedagogical innovations, including those based on advanced information and communication technologies.

Abstract:
The World Health Organization estimates that one in every five individuals affected by war is at risk of developing mental illness. In Ukraine, this approximately approaches to 8.5 million people. According to the Ministry of Health’s predictions for the beginning of 2023, over 15 million Ukrainians will require psychological assistance due to the aftermath of war, with approximately 3.4 million requiring medical treatment. This review presents theoretical viewpoints and practical developments on the peculiarities of the pedagogical process and interdepartmental cooperation in fostering a comprehensive theoretical and clinical understanding of stress-related disorders among students by teams from the Department of Pathophysiology, Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology of Poltava State Medical University. Stress-related disorders herein defined as a set of symptoms of varying degrees of severity caused by a significant subjectively perceived psychotraumatic event are classified into three groups by their manifestations: emotional disorders, cognitive disorders, and vegetative and somatic symptoms. To effectively prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate patients with stress-related disorders, students must receive interdisciplinary knowledge and training. Physiology and biochemistry of stress are introduced to students in the first year of their studies, and pathophysiology is taught through practical and experimental approaches. Medical psychology and psychiatry equip students with the skills and knowledge required to manage psychological responses to stress and evaluate clinical symptoms of stress-related disorders. Other clinical departments also provide relevant training on this subject. Therefore, a systematic approach to training students in diagnosis, therapy, and rehabilitation of patients with stress-related disorders is crucial. This requires a step-by-step, interdisciplinary integration of this issue, which is well reflected in the educational and professional programs of the second level of higher education.

Abstract:
Congenital epidermolysis bullosa is known to be on the list of rare diseases for which there is no specific treatment. Determining thecontent and means of the rehabilitation program for patients with epidermolysis bullosa is not an easy task and involves a carefulselection of methods for each patient. Aim. The article analyzes the results of the use of non-drug methods in the complex rehabilitation of 90 children (from 6,5 to 18 years)with congenital epidermolysis bullosa. Material and methods. To assess the effectiveness of rehabilitation in the study before and after treatment we used methods ofclinical examination with skin state evaluation and standard psychological and pedagogical examination to determine the degree ofsocial adaptation of patients (analysis of medical and psychological and pedagogical documentation, structured conversation aboutsocial conditions of the child’s life, “Color diagnostic test of nervous and mental states and relations” (V.I. Timofeev and Y.I. Filimonenko),the method “Drawing of an unknown animal” (M.Z. Dukarevich, adaptation by A.L. Venger), “The T.V. Dembo-S.Y. Rubinstein Self-AssessmentResearch Method, the Self-Concept Scale” (E. Pierce, L. Harris, adapted by A. M. Prikhozhan), questionnaire “Assessment ofparental compliance” (D.E. Morisky, L.V. Green), questionnaire “Feeling, activity, mood” (V.A. Doskin, N.A. Lavrentieva, V.B. Sharay andM.P. Miroshnikov). The way in which diagnostics was organized varied taking into account the individual psychophysical capabilitiesof the child. Results. The effectiveness evaluation of the complex rehabilitation of children with epidermolysis bullosa showed an improvementin the clinical condition of the children (significant reduction/elimination of dryness and itching of the skin) and the indicators of wellbeing(mean value: before 30 points after 45, p ≤0.05), activity (mean value: before 25 after 34, p ≤0.05), mood (mean value: before 44,after 51, p ≤0.05) of patients (WAM questionnaire), an increase in the degree of parental commitment to treating children (Moriski-Green questionnaire) from medium to medium and high values. Conclusion. The inclusion of physical therapy and psychological and pedagogical methods of assistance in the process of rehabilitationtreatment increases its effectiveness, activates the compensatory potential of the child’s body, promotes harmonization of intrafamilyrelationships, and thus improves the quality of life of the child and his or her relatives.
