Full textThe religious approach of the sea by Greeks is commonly classed as the figure of Poseidon and deities so said + marine; like nereids, ino or Dioscuri. But, in the reality it turns out that the majority of worships make in maritime context or in travel by sea address to the Olympian deities or twelve gods. All this study aims to define the religious practices of Greek sailors and to consider the primordial place of the Olympian deities. In the first part, are reviewed relationships of all these gods with the sea : by the mythological and epic words, then geographically through all Greek world, region by region, sanctuary by sanctuary. In the second part, are described the religious practices specific to maritime world. By sea, the presence of gods emerge aboard ships by different ways : by nautical ornamentation, by theophoric names, by anchors with inscriptions or decorations by land, in connection with nautical travel, are dedicated in sanctuaries boats in different forms, anchors and fishing gifts. The duration of period examined permit to discern evolutions in the features of gods and in the maritime worships, and importance of these in the archaic time. There repartition and the topography of sanctuaries present coherences connected to methods and conditions of ancient seamanship. The worship of Olympian deities demonstrate a large adaptability of Greek religion - adaptation of sacred personalities in a geographical or social context - making an arranged whole

Model Driven Development (MDD) is a paradigm for automatic generation of executable code that uses models as its primary artifact. In the database scope, despite the rules for transformation of Enhanced Entity Relationship (EER) schemas in code of Structured Query Language (SQL)-Relational have already been widely explored in the literature, we did not find a work that, at the same time, specifies MDD translators capable of transforming, automatically, EER schemas in SQL-Relational codes and addresses restrictions such as: Participation in Relationship, Disjunction and Completeness in Inheritance or Category are transformed into SQL-relational structures. In this context, in order to contribute for the mentioned limitations, this dissertation presents two macro contributions: 1) a rule Catalog to transform an EER schema into a Relational schema and this SQL code; and 2) an algorithm that specifies a correct order for the automatic enforcement of these rules. In order to show the feasibility and practical application of this work, the Catalog of transformation rules and the algorithm for Catalog automation are encoded in Query/View/TransformationRelations (QVT-R) language and implemented in EERCASE tool. The evaluation of the work was made from the processing of EER schemas (nontrivial) in SQL-Relational codes, which are conferred by database experts. Finally, comparing the proposed work with the related work investigated, it was found that the proposed work advances the state of the art, as it is the only one that is based on MDD and ensures that the restrictions on Participation in Relationship, Disjunction in Inheritance and Completeness in Inheritance or Category are guaranteed by the Database Management System.
Full textThe Electrical Discharge Machining process is very useful while machining very hard materials, which are very difficult to be machined by traditional processes, while can make complex geometries and minimum dimensions. One of the materials that are used in this process is highspeed steels, which are very hard and has a high mechanical resistance. The main objective of this work is the study of performance of different dielectric fluids used in EDM in different cut conditions in terms or metal removal rate (MMR) and wear ratio (WR) roughness parameter (Ra). A discuss of the most important factors that can produce different performance when machining with this process is presented. Five tests with different types of dielectric fluids using a cooper tool were carried out. Was noticed different performance between the fluids, which all the other conditions of operation were unchanged. According to the fluid the workpiece presented less roughness and a higher MMR in some cases. In other cases, a higher MMR produced in the other hand a recast layer less uniform. The most important conclusion of this work is about kerosene, which costs 3 times less than the specific dielectric fluids for EDM, presented worst finishing surfaces and not too high MMR as expected, despite all the risks for the operator.

Web APIs have become an increasingly key asset for businesses, and their implementation and integration in companies' daily activities has thus been on the rise. In practice, most of these Web APIs are "REST-like", meaning that they adhere partially to the Representational State Transfer (REST) architectural style. In fact, REST is a design paradigm and does not propose any standard, so developing and consuming REST APIs end up being challenging and time-consuming tasks for API providers and clients. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to facilitate the design, implementation, composition and consumption of REST APIs by relying on Model-Driven Engineering (MDE). Likewise, it offers the following contributions: EMF-REST, APIDiscoverer, APITester, APIGenerator and APIComposer. Together, these contributions make up an ecosystem which advances the state of the art of automated software engineering for REST APIs.

Full textThis thesis is based on the study of nuclear transmutation of minor actinides, Rrstly, in order to highlight the nuclear parameters which bring the highest Indetermination on this process, an impact study was proceed over the whole nuclear parameters incertitude on the 241 Am and 237 Np Incineration in three distinct spectra : EFR (fast), GT-MHR (epithermal) and HI-HWR (thermal). Thus, a part of the parameters which were under/ined were measured thanks to different experimental campaigns in the high/y moderated intensive neutron fluxes that are presents in Laue-Langevin institute (Grenoble) reactor. These ones were notably focused on the nuclear Incineration and transmutation of americium-241, curium-244 and californium-249. Rnally, more than 12 parameters were successfully determined in this manner at thermal energy point

Full textThe present work is applied to the field of French crisis management, and specifically to the crisis response phase which follows a major event, like a flood or an industrial accident. In the aftermath of the event, crisis cells are activated to prevent and deal with the consequences of the crisis. They face, in a hurry, many difficulties. The stakeholders are numerous, autonomous and heterogeneous, the coexistence of contingency plans favours contradictions and the interconnections of networks promotes cascading effects. These observations arise as the volume of data available continues to grow. They come, for example, from sensors, social media or volunteers on the crisis theatre. It is an occasion to design an information system able to collect the available data to interpret them and obtain information suited to the crisis cells. To succeed, it will have to manage the 4Vs of Big Data: the Volume, the Variety and Veracity of data and information, while following the dynamic (velocity) of the current crisis. Our literature review on the different parts of this architecture enables us to define such an information system able to (i) receive different types of events emitted from data sources both known and unknown, (ii) to use interpretation rules directly deduced from official business rules and (iii) to structure the information that will be used by the stake-holders. Its architecture is event-driven and coexists with the service oriented architecture of the software developed by the CGI laboratory. The implemented system has been tested on the scenario of a 1/100 per year flood elaborated by two French forecasting centres. The model describing the current crisis situation, deduced by the proposed information system, can be used to (i) deduce a crisis response process, (ii) to detect unexpected situations, and (iii) to update a COP suited to the decision-makers
