Abstract:
Cet article traite de la question du rapport entre jeu et rite à travers l’étude du jeu rituel musical (glu/ klu rol) de Sog ru, en A mdo (Tibet septentrional). Ce rituel festif, dédié aux divinités locales, est exécuté par les laïcs dans le but d’obtenir prospérité et bonne fortune et de chasser les calamités. Les diverses séquences sont appelées « jeux » (rtsed mo) et les villageois qui les exécutent « joueurs » (rtsed mo rtsed mkhan). L’auteur s’interroge sur les raisons de la présence de « jeux » dans ce rituel alors qu’ils sont absents du culte au « dieu du terroir ».
