Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, and analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction in the fast restaurant industry, namely McDonald's. A theoretical model, including a hypothesis, has been proposed in this study. The data of this research were collected by using the sampling method. The unit analysis of this research was obtained through questionnaires to 200 respondents who like to buy fast food at McDonald's. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using Non Probability Sampling with the type of Purposive Sampling technique, and collected as many as 200 respondents. The criteria for respondents are respondents who are consumers of McDonald's fast food restaurants in DKI Jakarta. Factor Loading Analysis, Cronbach's Alpha Analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were used to examine the relationship between variables in the research model with SPSS 25 and AMOS 26. The results showed that Service Quality had a significant positive effect on Customer Satisfaction, Service Quality had an insignificant negative effect. on Customer Loyalty, and Customer Satisfaction have a significant positive effect on Customer Loyalty. This shows that the company's efforts towards service quality and customer satisfaction will increase consumer interest. In addition, when consumers are satisfied with the quality of service obtained, consumers will tend to be loyal to the company. This can be achieved by improving public facilities and the quality of services provided by employees. Abstract:
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the dimensionality of the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) among Colombian college students. Methods A validation study was designed, involving the participation of a sample of 786 health science students (medicine, nursing, and psychology) aged between 18 and 27 (M=20.0, SD = 1.9). The participants completed the 21-item BDI. Internal consistency was calculated (Cronbach's alpha and McDonald's omega) and dimensionality was demonstrated using factorial confirmatory analysis (CFA). Results The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure of sampling adequacy was high (0.898) and the Bartlett's sphericity test gave excellent results (chi-square = 3,102.60; df = 210; p < 0.001). One-, two- and three-dimensional models were used. The unidimensional model performed best, representing 24.8% of the total variance, high internal consistency, a Cronbach's alpha of 0.83 and a McDonald's omega of 0.84. However, the CFA did not fit adequately (chi-square = 583.79; df = 189; p < 0.001, RMSEA = 0.052, CI 90% 0.047-0.056, CFI = 0.87, TLI = 0.85 and SMSR = 0.04). Conclusions The best factor solution for the BDI is given by the unidimensional model, which presents high internal consistency. However, its adjustment in the CFA is not acceptable.

Abstract:
Since 9/11 an enormous amount of literature and media coverage has been devoted to anti-Americanism in France. Yet the American model seems to be overwhelmingly present in French life and culture. There is a fascination for it among all classes, from disadvantaged suburban youths who try to imitate African Americans, follow American clothing fashions, and have Power Rangers as heroes, to political elites who never tire of recommending to us the American model (pension funds, the two-party system, education, etc.) and propose adapting it to the French setting. Nothing illustrates this paradox better than the controversial and popular institution of McDonald's in France, which is loved and hated to the point of occasionally provoking a national crisis as well as a number of social conflicts in recent years. After retracing briefly the expansion of McDonald's in France, I will examine the opposition it has aroused, making a distinction between political opposition and opposition in the workplace, which takes the form of a struggle against working conditions, the conception of Mcwork and McManagement. I will look at the people who carry on this struggle and what it all means in terms of resistance to “Americanization.”

This article focuses on understanding the perceptions of 31 Ecuadorian teachers and 34 Ecuadorian university students about the Puentedura Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition (SAMR) model in the English class. It has helped teachers integrate technology into their classes. The tool used to evaluate the model consisted of 20 items with 5 questions for each SAMR dimension. The reliability of the model was measured with McDonald's ω (0.94) in a general context and each dimension (S: (ω=0.88), A: (ω=0.82), M: (ω=0.85) R: ω=0.87)). The results on the perceptions of teachers and students were very enlightening to understand how they implement technology in English classrooms before and after the pandemic. They consider the use of technological tools to be beneficial for learning English as a foreign language.

The objective of this research was to elaborate a ludic-musical model for the development of specific motor skills in elementary school students; the research was of a propositional type with a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, and non-experimental trans-sectional design. A sample of 30 students was used and a test consisting of 24 items was applied to diagnose the level of motor skills in children; the reliability of the instrument was checked by means of the McDonald's Omega coefficient, which was 0.973. The results showed that the students are at the following levels: 56% low, 37% medium, and 7% high. Consequently, it can be concluded that there is a level of motor skills below average, so it is necessary to propose a structured musical play model, taking into account music, games, and physical circuits. Abstract:
The aim of this study is to test the unidimensional 9-items factorial model, about psychological stress, with a non-clinical sample of Canadian students, evaluated by the metric principals of factorial analysis and internal consistency. A sample of 546 university students (Women = 79.6%, Men = 20.4%, Mean age = 23.2, Standard Deviation = 7.3) were used. The results of the exploratory factorial analysis (explaining about 55.3% of the total variance of the construct) and confirmatory (GFI = 0.994, AGFI = 0.991, CMIN / DF = 3.77, RMSEA = 0.071, CFI = 0.985) satisfactorily confirmed its unidimensionality. The results of the internal consistency study, obtained by Cronbach's Alpha, McDonald's Omega, Greatest Lower Bound coefficient, and also the EAP scores, ensure the accuracy of the tested model. New studies should explore and test other important metric qualities of this instrument (content validity and test-retest reliability, among others).

Abstract:
The McDonald's model of labour management has been widely adopted throughout the fast food industry. Literature that is critical of fast food labour management policy and practice often portrays employers as offering work that is low paid, unchallenging and uninteresting. However, others argue that the industry provides young workers with: a first resume entry, training opportunities, the chance to develop a career and a path into employment. This study interprets these two perspectives as reflecting either misalignment or alignment of employee/crew and employer preferences. Such an interpretation recognises that fast food work does not represent a career for many who do it but is short term or 'stop-gap' in nature. The study's research question is: to what extent does management preference for elements of work align with the preferred working arrangements of crew at McDonald's Australia? This research subjects McDonald's Australian stores to independent scrutiny. Previous research in this area has mostly used qualitative methods. Earlier studies, by and large, provide descriptive accounts of fast food employment however they often lack the rigour of an empirical investigation. The present research uses a structured survey method to obtain data from crew and managers. Results are analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings focus on three areas of labour management: industrial relations, work organisation and human resource management. Several themes relating to alignment of preferences in the fast food employment relationship are identified. These are: crew have scant knowledge of industrial relations, do not like aspects of work organisation, but respond positively to certain human resource management policies and practices; crew lack knowledge of labour management issues generally; crew work is simple and repetitive; and, many young crew seem to dislike aspects of fast food work as they get older but others, who have distinctive characteristics, appear to continue to like the McDonald's approach as they age.

Abstract:
The present work had as main objective the study of the differences between the results obtained using the method of the weighted least squares and ordinary least squares, in the fit of the model of Orskov and McDonald (1979) to the data of degradation of the dry matter (MS) and acid detergent fiber (ADF) in fistulated Nelore steers, using the technique in situ. The data of a delineated 4x4 Latin Square had been used (four animals and four periods) whose treatments had been: diet with calcium salt of fatty acid and monensin (A); diet with whole cottonseed and monensin (B); diet has control with monensin (C) and diet with whole cottonseed without monensin (D). The measures of degradability had been collected in eight occasions (0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours). As these measures they are gotten repeatedly in the same animal, expects that the variances of the answers in the diverse occasions are not equal. In the analyses proposals the original data (MS and ADF) and the data corrected for the period and animal effect had been used. Of a general form, it was observed that the use of the method of the weighted least squares modified the results of the analyses, producing an increase of the statisticians of the tests and an alteration of the significance of these statisticians, for account of the withdrawal of the animal effect and period of the original data and to the use of the method of weighted least squares, with the weighted made for the inverse one of the variance of the given ones in each occasion.

The eating habits have changed in these days, the frequency of people dining out become more frequently, be able to understand the reason why the large percentage of people, would have more trust in food-in-brand, is because that not only the product itself has a clear vision of where the product was made from, and also, the manufacturing processes make the food preparation process transparency; however, the office workers in Taiwan they have shorter break at lunch, they need more efficiently and fast dining, in order to reduce the unnecessary time in waiting, in fact, the out-eater have been increasing small amount in every year. McDonalds is the largest chain organization in fast food field, also, they have multiple choices of discount meal sales, and therefore McDonald's becomes the new choices for those office workers. My purpose of this study is to propose several effective improvements in service quality field over the Taipei area McDonalds. However, the out-eater have been increasing from the office workers market in Taiwan every year, they have short break on common. They look for more quickly and efficiently dining environments, in order to reduce the unnecessary time in waiting, McDonald become their new choice in dine, especially in special discount period (such as lunch special period 11a.m.-2p.m.). We use the Quality Function Deployment to analyze, to process the empirical analysis, in order to make sure the service quality to meet the customers' voices in Taipei area McDonald. We combined the Importance-Satisfaction Model with Kano Model, be able to have a clear vision of classification of McDonald elements in Taipei area, and also plus the Quality of House, which to calculate the percentage in the weights of the customer needs, and finally to improve the demand for quality objects by using the Four-quadrant Diagram. The results of final study show that the sort of the most important quality elements, the five objects in the front roll would be, the staff professional competence , staff workstations training, the environment and the hardware device, variety of complaints pipeline, and also, the speed of information announcement updates. Introduction to the business model first appeared in the information management field, after the rise of the Internet in the 1990s, the business model has become fashionable term corporate world, and attracted the attention of theorists, its meaning has expanded into a vast space enterprise management. In this paper, McDonald's Value Net Theory to explore innovative business models, while taking advantage of the case to analyze. The results showed that in a Western McDonald's, while operating real estate and clothing business in order to build a multi-industry network, enhance the overall competitive force, on the basis of multi-industry network, through commercial real estate control large number of customers, and then a large number of customers transferred to McDonald's franchisees in obtaining rental income through franchising, eventually forming "real estate + restaurant" value Network mode of cross-subsidies and the transfer of resources.

Abstract:
Chapter 2 focuses on what a business model is and what it affords: it is a unique mix of activities which results in value creation and delivers value appropriation and competitive advantage. Competitive advantage can be sustained only for a limited period, so firms must innovate their business model – through replication or through renewal. Replication means firms scale up and improve their existing business model over time, for example, McDonald’s and IKEA. Renewal involves firms bringing in a brand new, very different business model, for example, DSM, which has reinvented itself several times, and the temping agency Randstad. Chapter 2 also identifies several levers of business model innovation, the main one being new technology. Complementary levers include new managerial practices, new organizational forms, and co-creation with new partners.

Abstract:
Throughout this study, the authors propose possible agreements among different food producers, in order to develop a new better conceived diet for the future generations, by using a coopetitive approach and game theory. Specifically, the authors shall consider food producers and sellers of vegan (respectively, vegetarian) and non-vegan (or non-vegetarian) food. The coopetitive approach used by the authors provides a mathematical game theory model, which could help producers of vegan food a simpler entry in the market and free significant publicity. Meanwhile, the model could allow producers of non-vegetarian food a smooth transaction to vegetarian and vegan production. In particular, authors propose an agreement setting among McDonald's and Muscle of Wheat, because they think that Muscle of Wheat cannot enter a global market without the help of a large food producer already in the market. The game theory model represents an asymmetric R&D alliance between McDonald's and Muscle of Wheat.

The benefit of low costs achieved through the new model was passed on to the customers in the form of lower prices. The case also compares Domino’s new supply chain model with McDonald’s supply chain model.

Abstract:
There are many options to eat something delicious and fast. Some people like McDonald's, others like Burger King or Wendy's. Some people dislike Dominos while others prefer tacos for breakfast. People's attitudes reflect their likes and dislikes. All the thoughts of individuals, likes and dislikes about objects, constitute their attitudes. Attitude objects are anything that individuals can hold an attitude about. Attitude objects can be physical (food) or abstract (personal values, lifestyles). If a consumer has a negative attitude towards a product, he does not think to try it. Moreover, these attitudes drive consumer decision making. So, to understand consumer attitudes towards their product is critical for marketers. First, they should discover consumer attitudes towards their products. Later they should support positive attitudes consumer have, or they should find ways of changing the negative attitudes of the consumers to positive. This chapter discusses consumer attitudes, its importance, attitude models, and changing consumer attitudes strategies.

Abstract:
Chapter 8, “Molecular deviants: sequence signatures of selection and demography,” dives into the logic and mechanics of some of the most common tests of neutrality to show how and why data can reveal differences from the predictions of the standard neutral model. It introduces approaches based on skewed patterns of polymorphism alone, including Tajima’s D test, and on differentiation or divergence alone, like the Lewontin-Krakauer, Population Branch Statistic (PBS), and K A / K S relative-rates tests. Chapter 8 also covers tests of neutrality that integrate information from both within and between species, including the HKA-test and McDonald-Kreitman (MK) test. The logic for other tests of neutrality also is introduced, including ABBA-BABA, Composite Likelihood Ratio (CLR), Extended Haplotype Homozygosity (EHH), and other approaches. Practical implications of ancestral polymorphism and slightly deleterious polymorphisms are discussed, for example, in calculating and interpreting the neutrality index and fraction of positively selected sites (α‎). The goal of this chapter is to explain the logic of methods applied to molecular population genetic data to read the story of evolutionary history from the genome.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The General Electric LM5000 Marine Gas Turbine (see figure 1) intended for application to commercial and naval ships requiring high power (50,000 BHP nominal), high thermal efficiency (38 percent), and compact, marinized and relatively light weight prime movers is described. Ship candidates include Fast Support Ships, Aircraft Carriers [in a Combined Nuclear and Gas Turbine (CONAG) propulsion system], Battleships and large surface effect ships. The LM5000 marine gas turbine is a marinized version of the LM5000 industrial gas turbine which was derived in 1977 from the CF6-50 aircraft engine. The CF6-6 model of this family of aircraft engines was the parent of the over 648 GE LM2500 marine gas turbine now used on the ships of 18 navies, 32 ship programs and 247 ships of the world. Over 2100 of the CF6-50 mode] engines are used on over 600 of the McDonald Douglas DC-10, the Airbus A300 and the Boeing 747 aircraft. Since reliability and durability are dependent upon engine family experience, the hardware commonality with the CF6-50 aircraft engine is described as well as the associated experience, performance, installation and maintainability features.

Abstract:
Present day turbine cascades are being optimized, usually, for minimum total pressure losses. Gas Turbines, however, operating in a dirty environment or using dirty fuels need cascades that minimize the erosion and the corrosion implications of the hostile environment of the flue gasses. The present study employs the parametric cascade optimization method by Mcdonald to study the influence of a number of parameters on the deposition velocity of various particles, typical of those in a PFBC Gas Turbine. The calculation code employs the TSONIC and the STAN5 codes plus the method of Stewart for the aerodynamic losses and two property chosen models for the eddy diffusion one. The results indicate that control is possible only for particles with a diameter of less than 10.0 μm and this usually at the expense of an increase in the aerodynamic losses.
