Abstract:
Health professions recognized autonomously by law consist of (1) the medical profession, (2) nursing, and (3) midwifery. These three health professions have different legal principles, so both types of professions have professional autonomy. The professional autonomy of health professions has consequences for various aspects of the existence of health profession stakeholders, such as their position, function, tasks, authority, and legal responsibilities. One of the legal aspects of health profession stakeholders is the legal standing of each health profession stakeholder. The law does not regulate the legal standing of health profession stakeholders in healthcare services, resulting in a legal vacuum regarding the legal standing of these health profession stakeholders. Do health profession stakeholders have equal or different legal standing in healthcare services from the perspective of the principle of legal equality? The research method used is the juridical-normative research method, which examines primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The research conclusion is that the legal standing of health profession stakeholders is the same and equal from the perspective of the principle of legal equality. The suggestion presented is that legislators need to amend healthcare laws, medical practice laws, nursing laws, and midwifery laws to regulate and establish the legal standing of health profession stakeholders as the same and equal based on the principle of legal equality.

Abstract:
Accounting is a science that studies the preparation of financial reports and various types of financial analysis, while an accountant is a profession that carries out accounting. The accounting profession is very diverse, ranging from public accountants, corporate accountants, educator accountants, to government accountants. Each type of accounting profession has different qualifications, duties and responsibilities. For high school students, knowledge about the accounting profession is still very minimal, so socialization is needed regarding this matter. This community service activity is in the form of socialization which aims to better understand the various accounting professions so that they can strengthen them to continue studying in the accounting department. In addition to this socialization, material about international accounting classes was added, especially at the University of Mataram. The methods for implementing these service activities include preparation, preparation of materials and media, socialization, and post-socialization by evaluating activities. A positive response was given by socialization participants who were students majoring in Social Sciences who were in class XII.

The choice of a profession is one of the important stages in a person's life, it can be said that it determines most of the future life. The choice of profession is, first of all, the choice of a person. When choosing a profession, a person chooses not only the necessary means to meet material needs, but also a way of life. A choice made without regard to the profession, or only taking into account external circumstances or the interests of others, is an experiment that can cost a person and the people around him dearly. The purpose of our study was to study the professional interests and professional orientation of the students of the pilot schools, to determine how well they are informed about the issues of vocational education and what factors influence the choice of a profession. We should also conduct a training on the topic: "Choose a profession." According to the hypothesis, the students of our school are less informed about the issues of vocation, and are also insufficiently prepared for the right choice of profession. The results of the study confirmed our assumption. In particular, it was found that the students of our school are less informed in matters of vocational training, and are also insufficiently prepared for the right choice of profession, which means taking into account their own interests, skills and abilities when choosing a profession. Pupils experience a lack of information on issues related to professions. In addition, respondents believe that the school needs the work of a psychologist who will provide qualified advice on issues related to the choice of profession. It is noteworthy that it is important that pupils are better informed about what skills and abilities are necessary for mastering different professions. Therefore, at each stage of the study, it was important to determine the correspondence of skills and abilities to the chosen profession.

Abstract:
Introduction. The formation of professional self-determination of high school students and the associated choice of vocational education is an urgent problem of the modern school. This paper examines the possibility of pedagogical support to solve this problem by the example of the formation of ideas about IT education and IT professions at a level sufficient for their conscious choice in Russia. The tools discussed are the school Computer Science course and, more broadly, teacher-led non-formal education in the field of computing. The aim of this article was to analyse the factors affecting the conscious choice of high school graduates of IT professions and types of professional IT education, and the possibilities of pedagogical support for the formation of this choice by means of informatics education, implemented by means of a modern information and educational environment.Methodology, methods and materials. A systematic approach was applied, i.e. not only school but also subsequent stages of professional development of students were analysed. The leading theoretical methods were the analysis of the knowledge system, generalisation, identification and resolution of contradictions in the process of self-determination of students in the IT profession. Empirical methods for collecting, analysing and interpreting empirical data were also employed. The analysis of academic publications, documents and statistical data was carried out.Results. It is shown that the main reasons for the low level of formation of the professional self-determination of high school students in the IT profession are the following factors: insufficient attention paid in the school Computer Science course to the technological aspects that underlie most of the IT professions; lack of awareness of labour functions in IT professions; lack of awareness of the content of training in various areas of higher IT education and the focus of these areas on specific IT professions; ignorance of the real demand for the country’s economy in various IT professions. The school course in Computer Science can become a system-forming beginning in the formation of professional self-determination of high school students in the IT profession, but in its current state, it does not fully fulfill this function. The reasons are the inability to provide everyone, who wants to study Computer Science in high school at an in-depth level, the neglect in this course of the technological aspects of computing that underlie most of the IT professions, and insufficient use of the information resources of the information and educational environment of modern non-formal education. One of the ways to solve this problem is to supplement the Computer Science course with a special pre-professional training module, which will purposefully acquaint students with IT professions, with information technologies that underlie these professions, as well as the types and the content of the most popular areas of professional IT education and their connections with IT professions. To implement such a module, in addition to traditional forms of education, distance and network learning can be used, including with the involvement of university teachers and employees of leading IT companies.Scientific novelty. For the first time, the problem of pedagogical support for the formation of professional self-determination of senior high school students in the IT profession has been investigated.Practical significance. The obtained results can become the basis for improving school informatics education for the full fulfillment of the task to develop the professional self-determination of students in the IT profession.

Abstract:
Abstract Background Health professions such as clinical exercise physiology are founded on a set of standards that outline base level knowledge, skills, and competencies to define the roles and scope of practice of the profession. Despite the practice of clinical exercise physiology having many common features regardless of the country in which it is conveyed, a harmonized set of international standards does not exist. The aim of this study was to systematically audit the professional standards for the 5 countries recognized as having existing national certification systems for clinical exercise physiology. Method: The audit process was conducted using a modified scoping review protocol based on the documentation provided by the American College of Sports Medicine, Exercise and Sports Science Australia, British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, and Sport and Exercise Science New Zealand. Two reviewers independently extracted data from the standards documents, and results were cross-checked by relevant experts from each jurisdiction. Results: Commonality of themes was found for 60% of all content extracted. The overall coverage of themes was 60%, 67%, 76%, 88%, and 98% from New Zealand, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, respectively. Conclusion: A common core of themes is covered by all current national standards for clinical exercise physiology across the 5 nations audited but only variable coverage in the remaining 40%. These findings are important for understanding the differences in current training and certification of clinical exercise physiology professionals and how this might influence the internationalization of the profession.

Abstract:
AbstractPierre Bourdieu has given a brief but fierce critique of the concept of “profession” that calls for a more reflexive analysis of the professions and in fact suggests not using the concept at all. In this contribution, we explicate the gist of that critique and argue it is possible to analyze it in a Bourdieusian fashion. We regard professionalism as a form of symbolic capital, the substance of which is constantly at stake in power-driven contexts, both internally and externally. Professional fields are embedded in objective relations with other fields in what Bourdieu describes as a general field of power. Within each professional field, the legitimate substance of what it means to act in a “professional way” is constantly at stake. In turn, across various professional fields, within what Bourdieu describes as a larger field of power, the very idea or “formal content” of “professionalism” is subject to struggle and (re)negotiation. This power-centered view emphasizes professionalism is a scarce symbolic resource, an object of a process of consecration and a source of legitimate forms of acting and interpreting. It thereby de-essentializes talk of professions and professionalization.

Abstract:
We humans have employed and improved materials for millennia, but it required the Industrial Revolution of the last century to birth the systematic, science-based development of materials. During this time, effort expended in understanding the process-microstructure-properties relationships of materials conferred great economic and military advantage upon the successful. The introduction of machine power in this era created great leverage for improvements in the strength, ductility, corrosion resistance, formability, and similar properties of materials. Response to this opportunity led to the emergence of the materials profession. Stimulated by opportunity, materials scientists and engineers of the day met many of the challenges by first understanding and then controlling the composition and microstructure of materials. In the process, they defined the materials-engineering profession and left their names as a part of its vocabulary: Martens(ite), Bain(ite), Austen(ite), Schmid, Bessemer, Charpy, and Jomminy, to name a few. In fact the understanding and control of microstructure is the hallmark of materials science and engineering. Of course the ancient art of finding, mining, concentrating, and refining materials from the earth's crust does not apply to this definition since we wish to focus on the engineering of materials.Five decades ago, a new chapter in the evolution of this profession began by the invention of the transistor. This invention and the development of integrated circuitry that followed from it spawned a new era of materials achievement, again stimulated by the enormous economic and performance gains available. In this arena however, the object of the game was to completely eliminate microstructure while doing away with impurities, save for a desired few, to levels previously unimagined. Today a material thus prepared is a blank slate upon which we can write the microstructure of an integrated circuit.

Abstract:
The strength, vitality, and development of the materials professions are determined largely by the quality of education of their new members. While this truism applies to any profession, it is critically important that it be recognized in a rapidly changing and evolving area such as the materials field, which includes activities in materials engineering, ceramic engineering, polymer engineering, and metallurgical engineering. The recent development of tools and techniques that allow relating details of atomic and electronic structure to material properties, the discovery of new classes of materials, many of which are complex integrations of metals, ceramics, and/or polymers, along with the rich diversity of new processing methods that yields improved properties and new materials concepts, are examples that emphasize the dynamic and exciting nature of the field. The primary responsibility for monitoring, evaluating, and certifying the quality of engineering and engineering-related education in colleges and universities in the United States lies with ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. (For a discussion of accreditation in chemistry, see “Chemistry Education Programs Relevant to Materials Science” by P. Lykos in this issue.) ABET, working with the engineering professional societies, develops accreditation policies and criteria and conducts a comprehensive program of evaluation of first professional engineering degree programs. Programs meeting the prescribed criteria are granted accredited status.

Abstract:
This study addressed the demand for an ESP course for Archival Science, a profession often overlooked in Iran. The existing literature offers little research on specific materials for Archival Science students; hence there is a paucity of relevant materials in this field. The present study explored the development of printed materials for an ESP course conducted in the National Library and Archives of Iran to compensate for the absence. It examined the effectiveness of using such materials on the language learning of a group of archivists taking part in a 16-sessions mid-career course in Archival Science. The needs analysis processes, course design, materials development, teaching and learning, and evaluation were followed to achieve the objectives. The results demonstrated that the newly developed materials compared to materials prepared for other ESP courses could considerably promote the participants’ proficiency. The developed materials were archival, work-related, and professional-based resources and had significant effects on participants’ language learning. The study revealed that focusing on the learners’ specific educational needs in their workplace and incorporating authentic, practical materials in ESP courses would improve language learning and skill development in archivists.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the problems of studying the professional trajectories of graduates of pedagogical classes. The need for research in the monitoring mode is determined by the importance of identifying internal and external factors that influence the choice of pedagogical classes by graduates of professions and vocational education at different levels, as well as conditions that determine the productivity of their development of the main professional educational program. The results of the first stage of the study described in the article allowed us to conclude that despite the motivation of students of pedagogical classes, a wide range of pedagogical technologies used, a significant part of graduates make a choice not in favor of the pedagogical profession. This circumstance determines the need for a prolonged assessment of the productivity of pedagogical classes in the aspect of analyzing the content of the educational process. The conducted research allows us to identify ways to improve the effectiveness of the system of pre-professional training of a future teacher.

This article examines the interrelationship between satisfaction with the choice of the teaching profession and the reasons for leaving the education system. The main reasons for leaving teachers (working conditions, organizational climate, administrative burden, etc.) are also examined. The research finds that people , who are satisfied with their choice of teaching profession, are less likely to leave school because of the workload, routine of the profession, poor student behavior, salary or heavy administrative burden. Peer support is also important for young teachers. This support can create a positive and empathetic work environment that supports motivation and job satisfaction. This creates a school community where teachers feel supported and important. In addition, peer support can encourage young teachers to participate in training, workshops and professional development. This improves the quality of their teaching practice and makes them more effective and competent in the school.

Abstract The design, implementation and evaluation of the initial and continuous training programs for teaching staff are based on the competence approach model, as a way of defining and recognizing training results. Competences are defined as integrative sets of knowledge, skills, motivations and attitudes that mediate professional behaviour and guarantee expert action in specific fields and contexts of activity for the teaching profession. The main fields in which the competences corresponding to the teaching profession are defined and according to which the continuous training programs are designed, realized and evaluated, are: the specialty field, corresponding to the educational disciplines and the teaching position held by the teaching staff; the field of pedagogy and educational psychology; the field of didactics/specialized didactics; the field of educational management and school legislation; the field of information and communication techniques applied in teaching and learning processes, in institutional management and data management. The competence system on which this methodology is based takes over and adapts to the specifics of the teaching profession and to the requirements of Romanian pre-university education the categories and levels of competence with which the European Qualifications Framework and the National Qualifications Framework in higher education operate. The system operates with two fundamental categories of competences: professional competences: cognitive competences; functional-action skills; and transversal skills: role skills; to which the intercultural and interrelationship competence is added, the competence meant to ensure well-being and the competence to support the environment, according to what is stated by the OECD in the PISA Global Competence Framework, The European Sustainability Competence Framework, The Council of Europe Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Cultures. The pedagogic practice internship involves a set of activities of observation, analysis and support of lessons, all under the guidance of a pedagogic practice mentor. The research method used was the survey, the questionnaire instrument being used in order to interview the students of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Faculty of Letters and Arts and Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.

Abstract:
Background Doctors play a key role in individuals’ lives undergoing a holistic integration into local communities. To maintain public trust, it is essential that professional values are upheld by both doctors and medical students. We aimed to ensure that students appreciated these professional obligations during the 3-year science-based, preclinical course with limited patient contact. Objective We developed a short scenario-based approach to teaching professionalism to first-year students undertaking a medical course with a 3-year science-based, preclinical component. We aimed to evaluate, both quantitatively and qualitatively, student perceptions of the experience and impact of the course. Methods An interactive professionalism course entitled Entry to the Profession was designed for preclinical first-year medical students. Two scenario-based sessions were created and evaluated using established professionalism guidance and expert consensus. Quantitative and qualitative feedback on course implementation and development of professionalism were gathered using Likert-type 5-point scales and debrief following course completion. Results A total of 70 students completed the Entry to the Profession course over a 2-year period. Feedback regarding session materials and logistics ranged from 4.16 (SD 0.93; appropriateness of scenarios) to 4.66 (SD 0.61; environment of sessions). Feedback pertaining to professionalism knowledge and behaviors ranged from 3.11 (SD 0.99; need for professionalism) to 4.78 (SD 0.42; relevance of professionalism). Qualitative feedback revealed that a small group format in a relaxed, open environment facilitated discussion of the major concepts of professionalism. Conclusions Entry to the Profession employed an innovative approach to introducing first-year medical students to complex professionalism concepts. Future longitudinal investigations should aim to explore its impact at various stages of preclinical, clinical, and postgraduate training.

Abstract:
The article deals with issues of studying and shaping the image of a future profession as conceived by psychology students at first stages of their professional training in higher education institutions. The topicality of the research lies in the necessity to design a model for building the future profession’s image in this group of students. Such a model should advance knowledge of the occupation being obtained and of the future professional activities. The research objective was the theoretical and empirical substantiation of the model for shaping the image of a future profession among psychology students at the initial stage of vocational training at a university. The study suggests that the structure of image of the future profession consists of three parts: motivational, cognitive, and emotional. These components are interconnected, building an integrated whole, which was confirmed by correlation and factor analyses. Five types of the image of future profession were identified in psychology students. At the stage of the ascertaining experiment of the study, the following distribution of the sample according to the types of image of the future profession was revealed: “Non-professional” and “Professional marginal”— 33%, “Professionally Knowledgeable”— 48%, “Pre-professional” and “Professional”— 19%. The study proved that the formation of the image of the future profession among psychology students at the initial stage of professional training can be facilitated by the introduction of a comprehensive program. The results of the study will be useful to universities in shaping the image of the future profession of first-year students.

Abstract:
Professional activity is an important component of personality development and determines psychological state, physical health, well-being and life satisfaction. The process of assimilation and implementation of professional activity is a holistic process of becoming a specialist, including internal and external means. Internal means include knowledge, skills, motivation, character, and other aspects, while external means include social regulators, materials, and informational means. Professional development leads to the achievement of professional maturity and level of professionalism. The development of professional motivation in university education plays an important role in the formation of future managers as professionals. In the article, the authors provide a systematization of the components of the motivation system at various stages of opting and professional training. A detailed study of the motives of educational and professional activity indicates common and different aspects for both stages. Learning motives include cognitive need, motivation to achieve success, interest in the process and results of learning. Motives for professional activity include prestige, material means, recognition, development, and self-realization. In particular, the motivation to achieve success is defined as a key motive for the professional development of future managers, organizing their behavior, influencing the goals and the choice of ways of achievement, promoting satisfaction with the choice of profession and self-realization. To determine the level of achievement motivation among students majoring in «Management» at Alfred Nobel University, an experimental study was conducted using the Mehrabian Achieving Tendency Scale (MATS). At the same time, it is evaluated which of these two motives dominates. 71 applicants - future managers - participated in the empirical study. To determine the main professional motives, the test «Motives for choosing a profession» was used. Based on the results of the analysis, the predominant motives for the applicants who obtain professional training in the specialty «Management» were determined. According to the respondents, the most important motivations for the profession were that the profession of a manager allows you to realize your abilities for managerial work; makes it possible to develop professional skills; makes it possible to benefit people; corresponds to the respondent’s abilities and is highly paid. As a result of the experiment, it was determined that applicants who choose to study in the «Management» specialty and have a dominant desire for success make a more conscious choice of a profession that matches their abilities. The conclusions can be used, firstly, to improve educational programs for training future managers in institutions of higher education in the context of filling them with educational components that will correspond to the motives for choosing a profession and develop the motivation to achieve in the acquirers – future managers of leaders. Secondly, the research findings will be useful in management and business, namely, in the personnel management system of organizations. The use of achievement motivation tests and «Profession Choice Motives» are proposed to evaluate candidates who have a diploma in the specialty «Management» or are still taking senior courses, as a tool to focus on more promising and motivated candidates.

Abstract:
Introduction. Recently, the tasks of providing the rapidly developing field of artificial intelligence (hereinafter – AI) with professional personnel have become really urgent. Due to the insufficient saturation of the labor market with such specialists, training is the main way to solve the problem. Therefore, in order to do this, it is necessary to answer the question of how many and in which professions specialists in the field of AI should be trained, taking into account the presence of overlapping competencies in these professions. The lack of generally recognized terminology in the names of professions and competencies in the field of AI does not allow for the correct assessment of personnel needs by direct monitoring of employers' vacancies and makes it difficult to plan the training of specialists for the field of AI. The purpose of this particular study is to systematize the competencies and professions in the field of AI based on a comparative analysis of the professional competencies of the relevant professions in leading Russian IT-companies with the professional competencies of the relevant professions of the labor market of the European Union and the USA Materials and methods. The materials of the study were as follows: data from Internet sites for job search about current vacancies in the basic specializations of the IT-industry. The basis of the Russian list of professions and competencies in the field of Data Science is a family of six specialties in the field of AI, formed by the “Alliance”, the center for the development of artificial intelligence in Russia, uniting leading Russian IT-companies. While forming the list of competencies for AI professions in the USA, the information resource of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics was used; as for professions in the European Union – the information resource “European multilingual classification of skills, competencies and professions” was taken as the recourse of the material. Results of the study. Within the framework of the conducted research, a scientifically based methodology was developed for comparing professions from different national classifiers of professions based on a competence-based approach. With its help, matrices of correspondence of the Alliance's professions with the professions of the USA and the European Union were built. For each profession of the Alliance, the professions closest in competence in the labor market in the field of AI in the European Union and the United States were identified. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that only one profession “Data Scientist” (among six “families” of basic professions considered by the Alliance) coincides with foreign ones by name. As for the other professions of the Alliance, the proportion of coincidence of third-level competencies in the professions of the European Union and the United States ranges from 0.33 to 1. Discussion and conclusion. The results of a comparative analysis of professions and competencies may be used for the vacancies search on job search sites. A quantitative assessment of vacancies will allow to build a forecast of personnel needs in the AI-field. The results obtained can be useful in the development of professional standards for professions and, as well as educational programs for training specialists in the AI-sphere.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Report writing is considered an essential competency for all health professionals. Current research indicates that this area of professional practice appears to be routinely neglected or poorly executed. Previous studies have aimed at understanding the reasons for this neglect; however studies specific to occupational therapy practice are lacking. PURPOSE: This study aimed to explore occupational therapists' perceptions of the factors influencing current practice in report writing within the South African context. METHOD: This qualitative study included six focus group interviews with occupational therapy participants from a variety of clinical sites, fields of practice and health sectors in South Africa, with the exception of medicolegal practice. The qualitative data were inductively analysed to determine specific themes to understand the research question. RESULTS: While occupational therapists voiced uncertainty about ethical and legal aspects concerning report writing, certain profession-specific challenges, such as professional identity and the use of professional language, are perceived to cause a disconnect between the occupational therapists' reporting and their clinical practice. CONCLUSIONS: The findings of the study indicate that participants were unsure of the details regarding the legal and ethical requirements of practice for report writing and voiced both positive and some negative sentiments in terms of reflecting professional identity and profession-specific, occupation-based language, acknowledging the challenge of being in a medical setting. The complexity of writing occupational therapy reports was perceived to be influenced by the audience receiving reports, which varied widely.

This study is devoted to the analysis of the contribution of both well-known foreign (A. Adler, M. R. Ginzbur, A. Maslow, K. Horny, E. Erikson), Russian (V. A. Ayrapetova, E. A. Alexandrova, E. A. Bauer, A. V. Malyshev, A. V. Mudrik, V. A. Slastenin, V. I. Slobodchikov) scientists and authors of dissertation research (A. V. Bugoslavskaya, K. I. Buyakova, E. A. Salakhutdinova, S. F. Shlyapina) in solving the problem of professional self-determination and entry into the future profession of university students of various training programs. It follows from the review above that the very concept of professional self-determination as well as the process of university students’ entering the future profession are not studied well enough which reveals the relevance of the research topic. The work is based on general theoretical approaches (systemic, competence, activity, etc.), as well as on the statements of scientists given in monographs, dissertation studies and other scientific publications. The emphasis is placed on the issues of pedagogical support, the author’s interpretation of the concepts of pedagogical support and entry into the profession of future educational psychologists is given. The results of the questionnaire survey of first-year pedagogical college students are presented, from which it follows that the choice of profession is largely due to the level of wages and the increasing influence of the media, especially the Internet. It is noted that the majority of first-year students do not imagine the peculiarities of their future professional activity. We believe that the experience of organizing pedagogical support for future educational psychologists at Shuya Branch Ivanovo State University due to the necessity to integrate higher education and additional education by involving them in volunteering, tutoring, mentoring, and participating in the project “Children at University” is interesting for the wide educational community of Russia.

Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of the article was to assess the attitude of accountants to the process of professionalization based on voluntary certification. As part of implementing the auxiliary objective, a list of arguments for and against voluntary certification of the accounting profession in Poland was developed. Design/methodology/approach: The research project aimed at determining the current professionalization stage of Polish accountants. A survey method was used in empirical research, and followed by an in-depth secondary analysis of an open question regarding the justification of solutions that, according to the respondents, should be adopted in the future in practicing the accounting profession in Poland. The analyzed question was an extension of a closed question. Findings: The obtained results indicate a problem of a large diversity in the opinions expressed by the accountants and their willingness to accept various solutions, including voluntary certification. The arguments for and against professionalization of the profession, understood as voluntary certification, were grouped. The obtained results expand the knowledge about the expectations and fears of accountants in the field of solutions for practicing the accounting profession in Poland, revealing various interests and experiences of the accounting community in Polish business practice. Research limitations/implications: A limitation is no possibility to compare the conducted studies with others due to lack of this type of research in the environment and a limited number of survey questions constituting the basis for diagnosing the diversity of the accounting environment in Poland. Practical implications: The research is a continuation of studies diagnosing the current status in Poland and the possibility of applying new solutions regarding the practice of the accounting profession in the future. Abstract:
The article presents the results of the analysis on neologisms denoting professions (including colloquial and/or representing collocations) obtained through a survey of native speakers of the Russian language, using the method of distributive semantics (RusVectores service) and the language model with artificial intelligence ChatGPT. All three methods for identifying neologisms – the names of professions – were evaluated and compared, both in quantitative terms and in terms of content. The most effective was a survey of native speakers of the Russian language; the least effective was the method of distributive semantics (RusVectores service). Extralinguistic factors in the emergence of new job titles are identified: the appearance of new and intensive development of existing professional fields, their diversification, the influence of another language on professional usage, the need for prestigious modern titles of existing jobs. An active addition of neologisms to a group of vocabulary in the areas of creating and disseminating information and helping practices has been revealed, where the blurring of the boundaries of existing jobs leads to an expansion of the semantic scope of existing job titles, and a large number of designations for narrow specialists appear. For titles of jobs not related to these areas, new synonyms appear less actively. The area associated with information processing is characterized by semantic shifts in the titles already used in the language. Despite the fact that neologisms-borrowings are common in the sphere of profession nomination, they are often replaced by original synonyms, or such synonyms successfully compete with borrowings.

Abstract:
Teachers’ view of the school is determinant for their action and condition of their activity and their professional development. This study focuses on the voice of teachers at community management schools in Guinea-Bissau in order to know the vision they have of the school and the teaching profession. For data collection, a personal and professional characterization questionnaire and interviews with thirty elementary school teachers were used. The results show that teachers value continuing education as a tool that allows them to perform the profession better. They identified some constraints related to the difficulty in the Portuguese language, the lack of didactic materials and teachers, isolation, and lack of community participation. Teachers refer to the school as a place of transmission of knowledge and values, highlighting the school as the key to development. According to teachers, the need for more infrastructure and materials as well as the greater involvement and commitment of the educational community are the main factors that must be improved. To conclude, we highlight the role that teacher training plays in the quality of their work and the efforts necessary for schools to respond to the needs of society.

Abstract:
One result of Indonesian culture is traditional knowledge. The activity of traditional medicine practitioners is regulated by Law No. 36 of 2009 "On Health”. One of the traditional treatments is a religious approach, but it has not received full recognition because it contradicts the principles of medical science. However in everyday life, this approach is valid and proven. This study aims to determine the urgency of legal protection to protect the traditional medicine profession based on supernatural and religion. This research is a normative legal research with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The results of the study show that regulation and legal protection of traditional medicine practitioners are very important because this is an effort to improve public health according to the constitutional mandate and the people's right to health. This legal protection also aims to provide full recognition to the traditional medicine as a profession and legal certainty for traditional medicine practitioners. In order to be able to participate in health care and preserve the nation's culture, the profession of traditional medicine practitioners must be enshrined in the form of legislation, such as the Law "On Health”

Abstract:
Introduction. In recent years, the structure and content of training of specialists of further education have significantly improved. The increased popularity of the secondary vocational education system is evidenced by the fact that more than half of the Russian teenagers after graduating from the main stage of secondary school become applicants of technical schools and colleges. In order to manage students’ education more effectively, among other measures, it is necessary to diagnose the motivation of enrolled students at the stage of admission to the educational institution and to identify the degree of awareness of their future career choice, as these factors directly depend on the success of educational programmes. The aim of the article was to reveal the trends of influence of students’ results at the Basic State Exam (OGE – the exam, which is taken when finishing education in the 9th (final) form of comprehensive school) on the level of knowledge of Computer Science in colleges and to find out the subjective reasons of students’ preferences for the secondary vocational education system to continue studies and to enter a profession.Methodology and research methods. In the course of the study, a review and generalisation of the content of scientific sources related to the problems of professional choice and training motivation were used. Diagnostics of motivation of college students in Moscow, Moscow region and the regions of Russia was conducted through the methods of testing, surveys and anonymous questioning. Processing of the obtained data was carried out by the methods of correlation, variance and regression analysis; the degree of statistical reliability of the results was evaluated by calculating the Student’s t-test and the Fisher’s F-test.Results and scientific novelty. The authors have calculated the numerical indicators of relationship between students’ academic performance in computer science and the Basic State Exam taking, the reasons for choosing the secondary vocational education and the specialty. Constructed graphs and approximating curves prove the fact that the success degree when learning the certain discipline in college results from the assessment within the discipline taken at the Basic State Exam in school. In the regions of Russia, this factor guarantees a higher level of knowledge on Computer Science – by about 20%, and in the Moscow region – by 10%. The statistics on respondents’ professional orientation were collected. A regression model, demonstrating the impact of students’ motivational attitudes on their training in the subject discipline, is presented. It was found out that the motives “subsequent admission to a specialised university”, “obtaining a profession”, “business attitude to a profession” and “prestige of a profession” have the most positive influence in this context. The variance analysis confirmed the determinism of the learning outcomes by the reasons for the choice of secondary vocational education and profession. It is concluded that the reasons for the low or medium students’ performance include not only their weak motivation for education, but also the state of the entire education system, including the institutions of the Basic State Exam (OGE) and the Unified State Exam (EGE – high school final and university entrance exam taken upon completion of the 11th form), as well as the lack of clear criteria for the admission of applicants to the institutions of secondary vocational education. To get a specific specialty, the desire to study, its informed choice and prestige of profession positively affect students’ learning outcomes in Computer Science education.Practical significance. The research materials can be useful for teachers of secondary vocational education and for specialists involved in career guidance.

Abstract:
Internationalization, as part of a public policy agenda for universities, is relatively new in Argentina. Policies oriented toward internationalization have been scarce and have depended on financial opportunities from developed countries. Since academics are key actors in the development of internationalization, and the academic profession in Argentina is heterogeneous and fragmented, the extent to which recent internationalization policies on higher education might impact on the international level of Argentine academic activity is still unknown. This article delves into the questions of whether being international today is either an option or a privilege for Argentine academics, and how this condition determines their perception of the value of internationalization at the institutions where they work, given their central role at the university. To do this, we have relied on the 2018 Academic Profession in the Knowledge-based Society (APIKS) survey to analyze the level of academic internationalization in Argentina in relation to personal and professional qualities. We, therefore, examine our questions aiming toward the creation of favorable academic environments for institutional internationalization. Our findings could be helpful in thinking up a comprehensive change for institutional internationalization and, therefore, institutional quality.

Abstract:
This research examines pre-service physical education teachers' (PPETs’) beliefs on the physical education profession (BPEP). A convergent mixed-method research design was administered. The descriptive information form, PPET-BPEP, and open-ended questions were used to collect the data. 218 PPETs’ studying in PETE program and pedagogical formation certificate program participated in this research. Non-parametric tests were used for quantitative data, and content analysis was used for qualitative data. While gender did not differ significantly between the programs, there was a significant difference in the "value of PE profession" sub-domain. There is a substantial difference between those whose first career choice is PE teacher and those who don't, and those who want to become a PE teacher after graduation and those who don't. Those whose first career choice is PE teaching tend to this profession for reasons such as having an athlete identity, dream job, role model effect, and a desire to make children love and teach sports. Those who want to be a PE teacher after graduation stated the following reasons for their preference: want to endear sports to children, love and want to take care of children, dream job, want to explain the importance of the profession, want to be involved in sports and some features of the work. In conclusion, it is recommended that more research should be done on PPETs’ beliefs on the PE profession.
