The condition of social media is now able to fully encourage social interaction and all community activities. The influence of mass communication (cognitive, affective, and behavioral) for users or social media audiences where their behavior has been positively and negatively influenced. This condition is very concerning because the socio-culture of teenagers has been influenced by the mass media which seems to have become the basic need of teenagers. However, as a teenager in his time, he should still be controlled and need supervision. This study focuses on how the influence/effect of mass communication on audiences who use social media on teenagers in the 5.0 era of society. Adolescence is the start of the change between childhood and adulthood, which is still influenced by the mass media in this 5.0 era of society. Researchers used library research methods using various library sources or previously written works. From the results of this study, the greatest effect of social media on adolescents is a change in attitudes and behavior in the social and cultural sphere. Therefore, the social effects of mass communication on teenagers are like 2 sides of a coin that have good and bad effects, so due to the mass media today, everything that teenagers do sometimes cannot be controlled and still cannot be considered good or bad for themselves.

Abstract:
In the contemporary era characterized by technological advancements, teenagers are displaying a growing inclination towards acquiring access to health-related information, which is crucial for teenagers to make informed decisions on their overall health and well-being. The findings indicate that the Internet is the primary source of health information, followed by kin and acquaintances, mass media, and medical practitioners among teenagers in Sri Lanka. Gender is a significant factor, as males prefer utilizing mass media and the internet, whilst females tend to rely more on medical practitioners, kinship networks, and friends. Education has a significant impact on teenagers’ health information-seeking behaviour; low-education teenagers depend more on kin and acquaintances, while higher-education teenagers are more inclined to utilize the Internet. Moreover, highly physically active teenagers rely on kin and acquaintances, while less active tend to rely on the Internet. The findings of the multinomial regression analysis emphasize that teenagers mostly rely on the Internet and medical experts in Sri Lanka. Education, perceived severity of health conditions, and health efficacy have an impact on these behaviours. This study adds to the body of knowledge regarding the information-seeking behaviours of teenagers, offering significant insights that can inform the progress of customized health promotion strategies and culturally appropriate digital health communication.

Abstract:
In current literary production, teenagers are one of the most important target groups, and there are more and more correlations among books, films and serials dedicated to teenagers; in other words it is impossible to discuss children's literature without placing it into the complex context of the cultural industry. This situation may encourage a ‘mutual influence’ among these media languages, based on the use of the same stock characters and the same stereotypes. But, are teen novels really influenced by teen drama and teen films, absorbing their clichés and conventions? And, if this is the case, what is the dimension of this phenomenon?

The purpose of this study is to understand the behavior of teenagers in accessing cyber media, as well as the efforts of stakeholders to assist them in responding to cyber media. This research is a type of qualitative research. The research data were collected through document study, observation and interview with 15 informants, consisting of educators, parent representatives, community leaders, youth leaders and mass media observers from Denpasar City, Badung Regency, Gianyar Regency and Buleleng Regency. The data analysis was done descriptive-interpretively. The results showed that teenagers were good at utilizing social media applications such as BBM, Facebook, Twitter, WA, Line, and Instagram. They also used email, Wikipedia, Mailing list, Youtube, Weblog, and Blogsite to correspond with their friends and access information. But the information consumed by teenagers from the internet has the potential to affect their consumptive behavior, adopt a shortcut culture, as well as individual behavior that weakens social solidarity. The family, educational institutions, peers, and the government have a strategic role in anticipating the negative impact of internet (cyber media) on teenagers. Efforts of developing education-oriented sites need to be made.

Abstract:
This article discusses the recent emergence of adult male fans of Korean pop (K-pop) music who openly engage themselves in fan activities typically associated with teenagers (particularly teenage girls) and the significance of their adoration of young female celebrities. The recent appearance of the ‘samchon/uncle fans’ in the K-pop culture discourse marks the first instance since the early 1990s, when teenagers became the primary target audience of South Korea’s entertainment industry, in which male adults reclaimed a significant position as a demographic group of fans. The samchon fans differ from the traditional ajossi (middle-aged, patriarchal men) listeners of adult contemporary music in the kinds of singers and musical genres to which they listen, as well as in their self-identification as fans, participation in fan activities and mass media portrayals. I investigate the implications of the men’s consumption pattern and their representation in South Korean mass media within the contexts of the history of the construction of hegemonic masculinity in South Korea and of recent developments in East Asian popular culture. I also explore possible ways to apply, complicate and question existing theoretical and conceptual frameworks to explain the phenomenon and argue for the possibility of politically potent, alternative masculinities constructed and manifested through the men’s conspicuous consumption of cultural commodities.

Abstract:
Nowadays, governments, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, the private economy and each individual make an effort to integrate the idea of sustainable development in all areas of the educational system. Specific skills and knowledge that we gain as children and teenagers in the family, at school, in training or university will not last for a lifetime. Humanity is programmed to survive. In this context the term ‘programmed’ does not mean the same thing that we use in the computer sciences. Herein, we are dealing with emotional tangle and the continuing struggle to find ourselves. In this way we discovered education as a process. The purpose of practicing this process is that the personal development of an individual can be organized by certain rules. However, the formality enters the function to some extent and we also know that man is inclined to lay in his use of free will. So now we have reached to a new discovery, which is appointed as informal education. This paper, first of all encompasses this form, but also skewed approach to public relations and prospects is also different from those which have been hitherto. First, we will discuss what PR is. Further, we will elaborate education as a process; moreover, we will see how it can be split any further. Hence, history encompasses a factual situation. Lastly, it will be given the interconnection among PR, mass media and informal education.

Abstract:
In the last few decades, the teen movie genre has left behind the genre of light comedies or farce comedies and deals with more substantial and fundamental issues concerning teenagers and young adults. In the literary universe of John Green, which has been the basis and source of inspiration for the corresponding film and television adaptations, the form of the good-natured and well-intentioned loser teenager dominates. The loser teenager watches with longing and anxiety the lives of his popular peers, longing to be given a chance to join their company. when this finally happens, he finds out that things are not always as they seem and the values that decorate his universe are not as meaningless as he initially thought. The heroes in Green's books possess culture, dreams and ambitions, and an already complete personal universe that most of their popular peers lack, lost in the abyss of adolescence, its changes, and dilemmas. their depiction in the mass entertainment media of film and television reflects also social changes in teen and school culture, s well as the broadening of personal outlooks and expectations of teenagers themselves. in the recent article, we are going to analyse the type of loser geek/nerd teenager hero in the film and television adaptations of his young adult novel Paper Towns (2015) and Looking for Alaska (2019).

Abstract:
There is a wide range of evidence to support the view that new technologies serve an integral part of teenagers’ life. However, in Hungary, it seems that even though the facilities are provided in most of the educational institutions, these are not in regular use due to teachers’ lack of competence, the willingness of using them or their constant operational problems. Using a qualitative, small-scale study conducted in semi-structured focus group interviews (N=8) with 15 participants in five Hungarian primary schools, the study primarily aims to uncover how teenagers can relate their foreign language advancement to their use of digital devices in their free time. Furthermore, the paper examines their views on foreign language (FL) instruction supported by ICT at school as well as which digital devices and for what purposes they would preferably use them in FL classes. The study implicitly raises the issue of cultural sustainability and tries to find evidence to what extent mass culture affects the Hungarian language proficiency of students. According to the results, teenagers’ attitude towards institutional foreign language learning seems to be quite traditional, as they cannot relate their free time activities spent with digital devices to study purposes at school. Although participants are conscious about the effectiveness of ICT promoting language learning, they think that watching films, instructional videos, or working with projected tasks connected to course books are the major reasons for using digital devices for classroom purposes. Regarding cultural sustainability even within this small-scale study, there is some evidence that English as one of the most influential languages of mass culture can have an impact on the mother tongue language maintenance.

Abstract Polish pedagogical and psychological literature as well as mass media more and more often inform about disorders of competences and social relations of teenagers, as a result of abuse of digital technologies, especially smartphones. The authors analysed 31 cases of patients with cyberabuse and addictions at the Social Prevention Centre in terms of the occurrence, intensity and character of the disappearance of their real social contacts, as well as their behaviour in small natural peer groups. The obtained results were compared with 49 groups of adults and parents of patients. Research based on participatory observation and in-depth interviews showed that teenagers devote over 62% less time to personal social relations than their parents, their time of real social relations with parents is about 38 minutes per day, create atomistic attitudes towards family (e.g. refusal to participate in common meals), have shallow and narrow groups of friends, and prefer borrowed contacts (through social media). The average declared number of teenagers’ friends in social media exceeds 540, while their parents use smartphones in less than 140. Acts of violence whether individual, group, gang or mass may already be daily news in various mass media. Acts of violence can occur anywhere, such as on the streets, in schools, public places and even in housing complexes. Fights between students often involve a number of teenagers to attack each other for unclear reasons. This is then manifested in aggressive behavior. One of the factors that influence the emergence of aggressive behavior is emotion. Teenagers are one of the individual components in a community that is loaded with emotional upheaval. In the general phase of 12-22 years, teenagers generally have considerable emotions and have the potential to cause excessive aggressiveness. Excessive aggressiveness is an indication of the lack of proportional and effective management of emotions. Teen aggression is related to aspects of emotional processing. the better the level of emotional intelligence of students, the lower the tendency to behave in aggression. Conversely, if emotional intelligence is bad, then the tendency to behave in aggression will be high.

Results revealed that most adolescent mothers gave birth when they were 17-19 years old; most of them continue their studies and returned to school after three years and above. Among the factors, family and mass media do not affect their engagement in early pregnancy. Filipino adolescent mothers are all aware of the biological concepts in terms of the types of fertility control, biological processes, signs of pregnancy, and in the effects of early pregnancy. Five themes emerged on how young moms overcome their teenage pregnancy experiences. The respondents are all aware of the biological concepts in early pregnancy. Abstract A long time after the 1989 regime change, teenagers’ representations of the communist past are entirely a matter of political socialization. In the absence of any direct experience with the former regime, their perspective on Communism is expected to develop exclusively in relation to school, family, mass media or other agents of socialization. This research note explores the Romanian teenagers’ representations of the communist past based on survey data collected on a sample of 5,861 students enrolled in 86 schools across the entire country in 2010. A form of ‘second-hand’ nostalgia for Communism is identified among many of the teenagers investigated, regarded as an outcome of socialization in relation to family and school. Positive representations of the communist past appear to be facilitated by a lower socio-economic status, lower education, and the absence of travelling abroad experiences.

Today's media has become a potent tool for distributing information to the general public. There have been numerous voices in society denouncing the media and its harmful effects, particularly on adolescents, even if it has had positive effects on society in many ways. Media plays a vital role in our society today. With the advent of mass media, including television and more recently, video and computer games, children and teenagers are exposed to increasingly higher doses of aggressive images. Media is a double-edged tool. On the one hand, it plays an important role in framing public opinion, and on the other, its character is to sensationalize issues to attract readers. But its objective should be clear; that is, to reform a juvenile and not to penalize him or her. The article depicts the media's influence on juvenile delinquency and the tendency for delinquency. Several media reports show the cases of juvenile delinquency, with special reference to India.

Abstract:
ObjectiveTeenage pregnancy has become a public health concern in Uganda because of its negative consequences to both the mother and child. The objective of this study was to examine the determinants of change in the inequality and associated predictors of teenage pregnancy in Uganda for the period 2006–2016.Study designA retrospective national cross-sectional study.SettingUganda.ParticipantsUganda Demographic and Health Survey secondary data of only female teenagers aged 15–19 years. The samples selected for analyses were 1936 in 2006; 2048 in 2011 and 4264 in 2016.Outcome measureThe primary outcome was teenage pregnancy. Analysis was performed using the logistic regression, equiplots, concentration curve, normalised concentration index, decomposition of the concentration index and Oaxaca-type decomposition.ResultsThe prevalence of teenage pregnancy has seemingly remained high and almost constant from 2006 to 2016 with the risk worsening to the disadvantage of the poor. Household wealth-index, teenagers’ years of education, early sexual debut and child marriage were the main key predictors and contributors of the large inequality in teenage pregnancy from 2006 to 2016.ConclusionTeenage pregnancy is disproportionately prevalent among different subpopulations of adolescent girls in Uganda. We therefore recommend policy actions to sensitise communities and enforcement of child rights and child protection laws to stop child marriages. There is also need to promote girl child education, improving household incomes, and intensifying mass media awareness on the risks of early pregnancies. Further, ensuring that villages have operational adolescent and youth friendly services as well as incorporating sex education and other different adolescent reproductive health programmes in school curriculum will be key measures in reducing the large inequality in teenage pregnancy.
