Full text"Manuscrit trouvé à Saragosse" is a formative system which offers the reader, through a set of diverted literary techniques, a logical series of exercises, due to favour the rising of reason and scientific mind in every part of individual life. The whole is built with a series of recursive circles: the life experience provides and allows the imaginary experience of reading and transforms it. The emergence of reason can lead the reader to self-freedom and autonomy, both implying to go beyond the illusions of novel, by which the pedagogic effects of reading are possible. The turning of mind, informed of the dangers of confusion between objective and hallucinatory experiences about reading itself, involves a rational rereading of the book as an arrangement leading to awareness and concerned with the mechanism of transformation of the reader's mind. The book applies to the individual and is part of Jean Potocki's main ambition and search, i. E. To promote, thanks to reason, collective peace, prosperity, tolerance and freedom, and happiness and development of the individual. His dialogic conception of relationships between individual, culture and society, seen in a historical perspective the hominization process- makes him a forerunner of contemporary human sciences
