Abstract:
The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a hotel in the foothills of Králický Sněžník for 62 guests. The hotel has a restaurant, wellness center with swimming pool, fitness center, games room, ski room, sports equipment store, sports equipment rental, 40 covered parking places in the basement, rooms for bikes and baby carriages. This new building is located on the outskirts of the town of Králíky, in places of territorial development with a sports and recreational focus. The design concept is based mainly on the interaction with the future ski slope and works with maximum use of a quality view of the slope and the picturesque landscape. When solving the design, care was taken to ensure that the building complied with the design principles of passive structures.

Title: Analysis of methods used during the downhill skiing training Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine, if by using dividing alphabet at the beginning of downhill skiing lesson in young school age children will more children be able to ski by using parallel method than by using plough method. Methods: The main research method was the selective structure observing during the practical lesson of downhill skiing in young school age children. The succes of managing basic dexterity elements of downhill skiing by using parallel method or plough method was determined. These informations were completed by own opinion, literature, personal experiences with downhill skiing racing and downhill skiing training. The method of the research was direct observation of skiing skills in young school age children at Ski school in Kubova Huť. Results: The hypothesis was confirmed. The method of education with elements of parallel position of ski, including used dividing skiing alphabet at the beginning, is highly effective. 1 Abstract Name: Complex evaluation of the basic school ski courses in the Czech republic Objective: The objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate complexly a chosen basic school ski school courses in the Czech republic according to five above mentioned criteria and to confirm or dismiss hypothesisses. Methodology: I created a non-standardized questionnare with open-ended, semi close-ended and close- ended questions to evaluate ski courses according to the above mentioned criteria. This questionnare was sended non-anonymously online via survio.com to randomly chosen basic schools in every single province of the Czech republic. Collected data were statistically analysed in the Survio and Microsoft EXCEL® programm and the results were eriched with graphs and commentary. Results: In this diploma thesis basic school ski courses were evaluated according to determined criteria, at least one hypothesis was related to every criterion. I could confirm that the majority of ski course leaders are ski instructors (50 hours training, no trade licence). I could confirm four other hypothesisses as well, i. e. cross-country skiing is an essential part of more than 50% ski courses, less than 50% of pupils attend basic school ski courses, the majority of ski course instructors are teaching in accordance with the...

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the school ski training course on the physical, mental and social aspects of the development of younger and older pupils. It seeks to interpret the gained experience, the degree of pupil development in the given areas, the observations and feelings of the students who have recently completed the course. part we deal with the history of skiing, regularities in individual age categories, suitable ski equipment for children, ski training and the school ski course itself. We also dealt with current environmental problems as well as hippokinesis and its consequences. For the research part we used the questionnaire as a research method. The crucial aspect of the evaluation is the fact whether the working hypotheses will be proved or disproved. Methodology: Our thesis has the character of a qualitative research. Data that refer to the topic are collected in the form of non anonymous survey of at random chosen primary schools in all regions of the Czech Republic. For this purpose, a non-standardized questionnaire is used. It consists of open-ended, semi close-ended and close-ended questions. 59 Civil Responsibility on Skiing Slopes Abstract This diploma thesis deals with civil liability on skiing slopes. Besides gathering valid standards in the Czech Republic, it also provides insight into foreign legal systems with the greatest emphasis on the French regulation and legal system. A part of the thesis is devoted to the rules of the International Ski Federation, which are widely respected important source of rules in skiing. Examples of their application are illustrated with the case law that inferred their validity, while in other countries the rules were reflected directly in legislation. In the first chapter there is a general anchoring of responsibility in Czech civil law, followed by a brief excursion into the sports law of individual sports, in the third chapter we find a summary of legal and non-legal regulations that apply to activities on domestic skiing slopes, including a bill that in the end did not pass in the Chamber of Deputies. The FIS rules of conduct are introduced by the story of their genesis and international cooperation on their final wording, followed by an official commentary issued by the International Ski Federation for the reason of clarification and interpretation. Abstract:
Title: Didactic methods for teaching of skiing of beginners 6-10 years old Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a "ranking alphabet" for skiing beginners at age from 6 to 10 years old (young school age) and following verification of its effectiveness by using different didactic methods during the skiing education in "Half-day skiing school" in Kubova Huť. Methods: This is a case study that has the character of descriptions with the nature of qualitative research. The main method was the participatory observation by five trained ski instructors. We also used the category system and created seven categories. These were skiing skills included in the "ranking alphabet". To capture the quality of execution, we chose the judging ranges for individual elements in the "ranking alphabet". Results: The ranking alphabet with seven elementary skills was created. Each skill was defined and its level was determined. Children were divided into two groups (parallel and plough ski position). It depended on the quality of individual skiing skills. Every group participated in modified skiing education. In the end skills of both groups were verified by slalom.
