Full textInvasion plants are widely spread plants. They grow in different places, they are changed very much or even annihilated entirely. One of the most dangerous plants for environment is washington lupin. It is included in Lithuania plants list, which should be annihilated. Therefore investigations of this plant populiations are very important. The aim of the work is to determine demographic composition of populiations of washington lupin (Lupinus polyphyllus) and to investigate its reproduction in different ecological conditions. Investigations were made in 2008 and 2010 years. For each populiation of 2008 year investigations two fields were chosen. For investigations individuals roots of washington lupin were chosen and their overground parts readings were taken. Roots necks herbochronological investigations were made in laboratory. For 2010 year investigations of washington lupin populations, two places frons earlier investigated in 2008 year places, were chosen. In each population 30 bushes of washington lupin were chosen, from this bush one blooming stem was chosen. While investigating each floscule parameters were taken. While investigating it was ascertained that all investigated washington lupin populations were not very thick. As far as age group is concerned, all investigated populations ha generative and vegetative washington lupin individuals and their quantity in different populations were different. By majority of morphological generative and vegetative individuals... [to full text]

This study focuses on Chiara Lubich's thought on physical nature using phylosophical and theological key points. Italian, catholic and foundress of the Focolare Movement, Chiara s reflection is on nature starting from a Christian lifeworld in order to progressively interpret all of human and natural reality. After going through the historical roots and the basics of Chiara Lubich s spirituality, some mystical writings are presented, especially those concerning the Creation and nature. The theological depth of spirituality is, then, discussed by means of the aspects of Unity and Jesus Forsaken. The first can be understood as the unity of the Trinity, fruit of perichoresis but also as the presence of Christ in the community. The second, a particular understanding of the Cross of Christ. The relationship between these two aspects and their understanding that occur in the community through the action of the Spirit indicate that the very approach to the mystery of the paschal event is trinitarian. This is the theological source from where Lubich understands nature. The similarities between Chiara Lubich s thought and the franciscan tradition are presented. Her understanding of the Creation is expressed, then, in boaventurian style. This conception of the Trinity is experienced in a mystical form and forges a representation of the actual structure of the world. Her specific religious thought on nature is that the objects, relationships, natural events and the whole cosmos are conceived in a dynamism of the Trinity and have, thus, a Trinitarian ontology. This conception about nature is oriented to detect those connections of meaning: the trinitarian ontology as a heuristic method that evolves from the Trinitarian mystery to understand nature. Still, the religious thought of Lubich has characteristics of critical realism: scientific and religious knowledge express the Trinitarian structure of reality through their respective methods and awareness of their provisional status. Religion is also studied in its natural appearance by means of the cognitive sciences, which are interpreted within the same critical realist framework of the trinitarian ontology. Finally, a parallel is drawn between epistemic procedures of religion, as it can be seen in Lubich, and natural science reinforcing both the idea of the autonomy of religious thought and its positive epistemic status

This work deals with the Trinitarian anthropology, which underlies the practice of the dialogue performed by Chiara Lubich. Initially, this research demonstrates how the thought on dialogue falls on the whole of her spirituality. It is in the space between her peculiar understanding of the Gospel and the social praxis that comes from it, that she develops her vision and her dialogue experience. Secondly, this work offers a synthetic presentation of the main cardinal points of her spirituality in relation to her life experience, as an existential space in which the experience of God is revealed. Thirdly, this work deepens the understanding of unity and Jesus forsaken − understood as the synthesis of Christ's cross event − as the way to pass the threshold of God s communion life: He who is unity and trinity. Fourthly, it puts into dialogue the writings of Lubich with contemporary theologians, and philosophers. This dialogue reveals how her writings develop a vision of reality that can be defined as Trinitarian ontology. Emphasizing the idea of the Self as communion, according to lubichian point of view, the dynamics of the Trinitarian relationship must go into the determination of the Self as itself. Therefore, the unit with the other is intrinsic to the individual identity, that is, the human being fulfills himself/herself in the communion. Effectively, this means that the idea of the Self as Trinity leads in a Trinitarian anthropology. The categories of this anthropology are individualized on the basis of the communion of God who is unity and Trinity. Specifically, from the characteristics of the Trinitarian relationship of unity and distinction in God, this research identifies the characteristics of a Trinitarian way of life, whose incarnation and explanation in the history of mankind is dialogue. Finally, this research demonstrates that, for Lubich, dialogue is not an activity that adds itself to the many different dimensions of human life, but the way to relate with each other according to the model of the Trinity, that is, the very realization of the relationality self of man

Full textThe development of renewable energy sources has becoming an increasing necessity and, in this context, biofuels have an important role. This study aimed to optimize the productivity of biomass and lipids of the microalgae Nannochloropsis gaditana in a low-cost system, focusing biofuel production. A culture system was designed with low-cost and accessible materials and the experiments tested the effect of different degrees of exposition of cells to light-dark, under 800?E m-2 s-1 irradiance. Three different culture depths (2, 4 e 8 cm) and two aeration ratios (0.25 e 1.00 L min-1 per L of culture) were tested. Light penetration into the cultures and the dry biomass yield were monitored daily. High yields of biomass and lipids were attained in the experiment with 4 cm depth and the high aeration ratio: 13.83g m-2 d-1 of biomass productivity and 20.50% lipid content, resulting in a lipid productivity of 2.84 g m-2 d-1. These results indicate the potential of N. gaditana for application in large-scale cultivation, since its lipid yield is higher than the soybean, the main feedstock plant for biodiesel production. The culture system developed can be inserted in a process of biomass scaling up for large-scale open microalgae cultures.

This research aims to give greater visibility to the specific contributions that the Focolare Movement, founded in 1943 by Chiara Lubich, has to offer to the ecumenical journey. The first part deals with the history of ecumenism: the concept, historical events that also led to ruptures in the Church of Christ, the genesis of the ecumenical movement and the relevance of ecumenism. Analyzing the importance of ecumenical dialogue, this research presents the proposal of the dialogue of life which has its roots in the spirituality of the Focolare Movement and is considered one of its specific contributions to ecumenism. The second part presents an ecumenical hermeneutics which has two principles: fraternity and cross. It is believed that it is not possible to reach full communion (koinonia), without going through the way of the cross, through the way of the abandonment of Jesus (kenosis). Then a reflection on the Focolare Movement and the ecclesiology of communion is made. The reflection leads to the central topic of this chapter: the proposal of the dialogue of life presented as an answer to the demands of the current ecumenical world. The third part presents a second specific contribution of the Focolare Movement to the ecumenical journey: the Project of the Economy of Communion in Freedom, which was launched in 1991 by Chiara Lubich during one of her trips to Brazil. This social Project, which is put into practiced ecumenically, is present in several countries around the world today and reflects the reality of communion which is the basis proposed by the spirituality of the Focolare Movement. So, it is possible to asseverate that the Focolare Movement has something significant to offer to the ecumenical journey, whether on a spiritual or a practical level.

Full textThe aim of this work is to study the Focolare Movement. Created in Trent (ltaly) by Chiara Lubich in 1943, its origins can be found in the contesting of the Church and of the world. The concept of utopia allows us to analyze the development of this religious organization within the ecclesial institution and in the current societies. The religious utopia of Focolarini is linked to a new conception of religiosity and to a reform of the Church (especially through by the rehabilitation of laymen, religious virtuosity and holiness sanctioned by the Vatican II council). If virginity appears as the instrument of contesting, the Movement has quickly decided to address ail humans. The will of revolutionizing social, cultural and economic fields leads to the creation of ideal cities and to a utopedagogia. Eventually, it ends in the proposal of an universal and global alternative. Considering the main trends of ultramodern societies (individualism, differentiation of the spheres of human activities and globalization), Focolarini are now trying to sum up different concepts (like fraternity, equality and freedom) to reach the unit y of mankind

Full textGeophysics has been shown to be effective in identifying areas contaminated by oil products, contributing to the greater efficiency of soundings programs and the installation of monitoring wells. The present work presents results of geophysical investigations in a lubricant oil waste area located in the municipality of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo State, Brazil. In the study area the waste was disposed of in four trenches with a total volume of about 25.000 m3. This area is situated on the geological domains of the basaltic spills of the Serra Geral Formation and the sandstones of the Botucatu Formation. The trenches were totally filled with waste over approximately 25 years and no protection liners were used in the bottom or laterals of the trenches. The goal of the study was the acquisition and modeling of 3D data with the electroresistivity and induced polarization methods for the environmental characterization of the study area, followed by self potential and ground penetrating radar methods (GPR). The acquisition of 3D data, from a series of 2D electrical surveys, was effective in mapping variations of resistivity and chargeability in three dimensions, showing in the subsurface the behavior of contaminants. The conductive anomalies in the saturated zone and unsaturated zone were related to contamination generated by the biodegradation process. In general, the trenches with waste were characterized by low values of chargeability. In 2D electrical surveys, conductive anomalies were observed below the trenches coincident with the attenuation of the electromagnetic signal of the GPR, indicating the contamination of the environment and increased polarization from the contamination source. The self potential method also allowed mapping of the contamination, which is associated with negative anomalies of self potential and evidence of geochemical activity in the locale. GPR was the method most efficient in the identification of the geometry of the trenches, except in the trench 1, in which the base is not delineated by a GPR signal. A direct analysis of the soil and groundwater samples confirmed the contamination. In the soil analysis, low concentrations of several polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were found, mainly naphthalene and phenanthrene. In the water samples, there was confirmed contamination of the groundwater by lead (Pb). The biodegradation process was confirmed by the presence of microorganisms (bacteria), as evidenced in a biological analysis of soil samples collected at a specific point, where geophysical signatures suggested contamination. The geophysical methods used were an excellent tool for an environmental characterization, and together with the direct methods of investigation in this case study and can be applied in the study of similar areas.

Full textThe enigma of saint Lubin stained glass window at Chartres, showing a wine story in the middle of the saint’s life, can be resolved by a symbolic interpretation of it’s images, if paying regard to the medieval mental schemes : the central Eucharistic mystery of the wine enables the young Lubin to achieve sainthood, through his own vocation of consecrated (the learned canon of XIIth century appearing under the VIth century monk), priest and bishop, Good Sheperd dispensing divine gifts. The unusual presence of small human figures at the outer framework of the stained glass window emphasises the important role to be played by the laity in the Eucharistic mysteries. It takes part, with the introductive images, to a preached exhortation of the window, inviting all spectators to be converted. It’s theological teaching imports as it’s means of expression the images of the Scriptures, as interpretated by glossa ordinaria, updated, and organised into a Theological Sum chapter, remaining faithfull to the Fathers’ teaching about figura and veritas, the relationship figura-veritas of the wine of the Last Supper and the blood of Christ being of the same ‘type’ as between the Old and the New Testaments, or between the Life of earthly Church and Eschatology, using the constructive resources of Logic, without submitting to its mystery devastating hegemony. Far from being an advertisement for the relic of the saint, for the bishop or the canons, the stained-glass window thus takes place in the contemporaneous stream of the Parisian ‘Biblico-moral School’, who shared with Saint-Victor, in particular with Richard, the project to lay foundations for a moral reformation of Clergy and Laity on the study, -as well historical as symbolic-, of the Bible, and on preaching

Full textMicro primes were introduced by J. Neukirch in the context of abstract class field theory. A generalization of decomposition groups of primes of global fields led him to a purely group theoretical definition of micro primes as certain equivalence classes of Frobenius elements. Applied to the case of Galois groups of local or global fields this theory yields a description of special conjugacy classes. The main problem already posed by J. Neukirch is to understand the number theoretical meaning of micro primes, that is to describe them in terms of the base field. J. Mehlig and E.-W. Zink established a bijection between micro primes and norm compatible sequences of prime elements in field towers. These towers arise as fixed point fields for the sequence of derived subgroups of the inertia group. So one has to study micro primes for the corresponding factor groups of the absolute Galois group and then to form a projective limit. In the first step, a bijection between relative micro primes and conjugacy classes of prime elements has been obtained. The main result of this project is a complete answer to the problem of J. Neukirch for the second step. One has to introduce norm maps between Lubin-Tate power series of different height and the projective limit has to be taken with respect to these norm maps. For this purpose results from class field theory are transferred to an ''''almost abelian'''' case. In the end micro primes can be described as Galois orbits of norm compatible sequences of normic Lubin-Tate power series. The coefficients of all the Lubin-Tate power series are in finite unramified extensions of the base field. Therefore one can define a field of coefficients for a given norm compatible sequence of normic Lubin-Tate power series. The degree of that field respectively the length of the Galois orbit is at the same time the degree of the corresponding micro prime.

Full textThis thesis concerns the geometry behind the p-adic local Langlands correspondence. We give a formalism of methods of Emerton, which would permit to establish the Fontaine-Mazur conjecture in the general case for unitary groups. Then, we verify that our formalism works well in the case of U(3) where we use the construction of Breuil-Herzig as the input for the p-adic correspondence. From the local viewpoint, we start a study of the modulo p and p-adic cohomology of the Lubin-Tate tower for GL_2(Q_p). In particular, we show that we can find the local p-adic Langlands correspondence in the completed cohomology of the Lubin-Tate tower

Full textThis study (including six poets of the franco-german linguistic field) is a poetical, historical and literary approach of the poet's self-awareness and also a general thinking over what's going on spiritually in contemporary imagination of the twentieth-century world. The six poets ask questions to the "reality" of "murderers time" (rimbaud : "temps des assassins") writing poetry "on this side" of the spiritual and not "above". A new poetical area started in europe in the years around the first world war (1910-1920). The general and comparatif argument follows three analytical steps : 1. Historically and ontologically (1910-1920) : beginning of a new poetical area : dadaism, expressionism, beginning of surrealism and finishing of symbolism (tzara, trakl, milosz, artaud). 2. Lead-in the poetical material : poetry taken as an intermediary language act, (paul celan). 3. The study of the mystery of human verb - when the poet becomes a healer, (milosz, celan, jabes, artaud)
