Lograr el mejoramiento de la productividad en las operaciones de las Pymes mediante el uso de metodologías que los soporten es el desafío que tienen los líderes empresariales, por esta razón se emprende una investigación para identificar los estudios que han sido abordados sobre el Lean Six Sigma (LSS) y la Industria 4.0 (I4.0) en las pequeñas y medianas empresas manufactureras (Pymes) publicados entre los años 2005 y 2020 en idioma inglés, como un insumo preliminar para el desarrollo de futuros trabajos investigativos en el área. Este artículo busca determinar, con base en una revisión de la literatura científica, cuáles son las tendencias, países, autores y factores metodológicos de mayor y menor participación, a través del análisis del LSS, la I4.0 y las Pymes de modo que se identifiquen futuras oportunidades de investigación. Para el desarrollo del estudio se hace una revisión sistemática de la literatura (RSL), la cual orienta la formulación de las preguntas de investigación, la definición de los criterios de búsqueda, la definición de criterios de inclusión y exclusión, la evaluación de la calidad de los artículos y la identificación de oportunidades de investigación. Para complementar el trabajo se realiza un análisis taxonómico de la literatura, con el objetivo de caracterizar y ponderar elementos de la revisión sistemática que permitan identificar factores metodológicos clave para establecer investigaciones futuras. Después de hacer la búsqueda a través de la RSL se seleccionan 105 artículos, donde se logró identificar el porcentaje de participación de los mismos en las agrupaciones temáticas estudiadas: 58% de los artículos hallados están relacionados con el LSS-Pymes, seguidos de 29% de artículos relacionados con la I4.0-Pymes; con 12% están el LSS-I4.0 y, finalmente, Pymes-LSS-I4.0 con 1%. Derivado del análisis se identifica que las temáticas estudiadas tienen interés creciente en la comunidad científica de acuerdo con el comportamiento evidenciado en las publicaciones entre 2005 y 2020. Además, se identifican los autores y países representativos en las temáticas LSS-Pymes y I4.0-Pymes, destacándose autores como Jiju Antony y Erwin Rauch y países como Reino Unido, India, Italia, Estados Unidos y Alemania. También se identifica que las metodologías que integran las temáticas de estudio simultáneo de las Pymes, LSS e I4.0 son pertinentes pero han sido poco exploradas, convirtiéndose así estas en una oportunidad de investigación que debe ser abordada para ampliar la frontera de conocimiento en esta temática.

Abstract:
El cáncer colorrectal (CCR) es uno de los más frecuentes a nivel mundial. Aproximadamente un tercio de los casos se originan por la vía serrada de carcinogénesis, siendo las lesiones serradas sésiles (LSS) de colon, una las principales responsables del CCR de intervalo. Objetivo: Evaluar las características clínicas, endoscópicas, histológicas y el manejo endoscópico de las LSS de colon. Materiales y métodos: Estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo de julio del 2017 a junio del 2019 en el servicio de gastroenterología del Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, Lima – Perú. Se evaluó las características de 79 LSS, se utilizó el estadístico chi-cuadrado para analizar la asociación de variables clínicas y endoscópicas con la presencia de displasia; y el tamaño de la lesión con el tipo de resección endoscópica. Resultados: En 74 pacientes se halló 79 LSS, 67 (84,8%) con displasia (44 de alto grado y 23 de bajo grado). Edad media de 52 años y 44 (59,4%) fueron varones. La localización en colon derecho (OR=5,09, IC 95% 1,38–18,7, p= 0,009), el tamaño >10 mm (OR=6,13/IC 95%/1,50–24,94/ p=0,014) y los “bordes borrosos” (OR=5,08, IC 95% 1,17-21,98, p=0,019), se relacionan de manera significativa con la presencia de displasia. Las LSS menores a 20 mm mostraron asociación estadística con la resección en bloque (OR=69,3, IC 95% 7,35-653,9, p<0,001) respecto a la piecemeal. Conclusiones: El hallazgo de LSS durante colonoscopías es frecuente. La año y el hallazgo de bordes borrosos se relacionan con la presencia de displasia. La resección endoscópica ucosa fue una técnica segura y efectiva.

PurposeLean Six Sigma (LSS) has been one of the most widely used quality improvement initiatives over the last decade. However, the success rate of LSS is dismally poor, and most organizations discontinue LSS initiatives prematurely. The purpose of this paper is to answer the question why do organizations discontinue LSS initiatives?Design/methodology/approachTo understand the discontinuance mechanism of LSS initiatives, the authors selected two companies. One from the manufacturing and one from service sector in India. The companies were selected as they had initially implemented LSS, and later within six years had discontinued the initiatives. Four projects from each company were studied using case study methodology.FindingsThis study finds 11 factors due to which the organizations discontinue LSS initiatives. The factors are poor success rate, unrealistic expectations from LSS, unsustainable results, misuse of statistics, large tool set, unsupportive and uncommitted top management, lack of training and development, lack of synergy of LSS and business strategy, lack of link between LSS and customer needs, wrong projects selection and premature discontinuation of LSS experts. The study further discusses the discontinuance mechanisms of LSS using propositions.Practical implicationsLSS is one of the most widely used initiatives in the organizations. Such initiatives involve costs. Earlier studies have reported that many organizations discontinue the LSS initiatives resulting in a loss or not meeting the intended goals. This paper will help the practitioners as well as organizations to understand why organizations discontinue LSS and take prompt actions for its success.Originality/valueEarlier studies on LSS address the critical success factors, and this paper addresses those about failures by studying organizations that have discontinued LSS. The present study finds 11 factors that are responsible for discontinuing LSS in organizations. In addition, propositions are developed for future research and empirical testing. This study also offers further insights into the discontinuance mechanisms involved in LSS.

Abstract:
Purpose Historically, Lean Six Sigma (LSS) implementation has demonstrated a great deal of enhancement to process efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. The emerging market pressure for developing better quality, cheaper and greener products invokes a change of view in LSS economical effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to identify under which condition the final output of LSS projects with traditional strategic benefits are more environmentally friendly. Design/methodology/approach To investigate the choice of different types of LSS projects, the environmental impact under different conditions and the comparison of those conditions, the author developed an analytical mathematical model and analysed four different propositions. Findings The final price and production volume were recommended as mediating factors to leverage an LSS project to achieve a greener, customised and finance-oriented outputs. Research limitations/implications This research contributes to existing LSS research and knowledge development via promoting the different perspectives of LSS and environmental sustainability integration. Practical implications This study further enables managers to identify the cut-off point in relation to the production volume and finished prices to leverage the expected financial outputs and environmental impact of the LSS project. This would potentially promote a green LSS project in both implementation and output, alongside its traditional values. Originality/value This study uses a modelling approach to identify the conditions under which the actual methodology of the LSS project could be green via less energy consumption with consideration of expected LSS values and outcomes.

Abstract:
Purpose Although the popularity of the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology has illustrated many benefits over the years for those organisations who have implemented it, this strategy has received less attention in developing countries. The purpose of this paper is to critically assess the current status of LSS implementation in Saudi Arabian organisations. Design/methodology/approach This research is based on a descriptive survey questionnaire which has been derived from two systematic literature reviews. The survey was distributed to 400 organisations in Saudi Arabia using Qualtrics online software. In total, 146 responses were received where 102 responses were completed and analysed. Findings The findings of the survey highlighted that the implementation of LSS is still in the early stages in organisations within Saudi Arabia. This was clearly shown by many factors such as years of deploying LSS, LSS infrastructure, level of awareness of LSS, impact of LSS on business functions and so on. Research limitations/implications The primary limitation of this study is that data has been collected from an online survey and therefore no deeper insights could have been captured from the survey. This calls for future research to be undertaken by executing semi-structured interviews in selective organisations within Saudi Arabia. Originality/value This paper contributes to the current status of LSS in Saudi Arabian organisations. It also gives recommendations to guide the future of LSS in Saudi organisations by comparing LSS literature with best practice.

Abstract:
This study aimed to describe the relationships between leisure boredom, leisure satisfaction, and smartphone addictions among university students. The study sample consisted of 258 participants, 143 males and 115 females, studying at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Sports Sciences. The participants were selected using the purposeful sampling method. Data collection tools involved a personal information form, the "Leisure Boredom Scale (LBS)", the "Leisure Satisfaction Scale (LSS)" and "Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Version (SAS-SV)". Independent t-Test results revealed a significant difference in SAS-SV by gender. The MANOVA results indicated a significant difference between the "Satisfaction" sub-dimension of LBS and the "Educational," "Social," "Physical," and "Relaxation" sub-dimensions of LSS by gender. A significant difference was found between LBS's "Satisfaction" sub-dimension and all sub-dimensions of LSS by income status. According to the ANOVA results, there was no significant relationship between the SAS-SV scores by income status of the participants. Besides, there was a negative and low-level correlation between age and the "Satisfaction" sub-dimension of LBS, the "Physical" and "Relaxation" sub-dimensions of LSS and SAS-SV. There was a negative and low correlation between "Boredom" of LBS and "Psychological," "Social," and "Relaxation" sub-dimensions of LSS, and there was a positive and low correlation between LBS and SAS-SV. Similarly, a positive and low-level relationship was determined between all sub-dimensions of LSS and SAS-SV. In this sense, it was concluded that the LBS, LSS, and SAS-SV scores differed according to the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants. As leisure boredom increased, leisure satisfaction decreased, and smartphone addiction increased. It was also found that as leisure satisfaction improved, smartphone addiction increased.

En individ med funktionsnedsättning ställs varje dag inför en rad olika svårigheter i vårt samhälle och de är ständigt i behov av att samhället finns till hjälps för dem. Varje individ är olika och behöver därför olika hjälp för att klara sin vardag.

Sedan 1994 finns lagstiftningen Lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade. Denna lag ska se till så att individer med vissa funktionsnedsättningar får rätt insatser så att de kan ha goda levnadsvillkor. De personer som ansvara för denna lag är LSS handläggare. Deras arbete är mycket betydelsefullt för individerna som är i behov av denna lag. Deras arbete består av en rad olika uppdrag, de ska följa lagens smala ramar samt individens behov men också följa kommunens tillgångar. Denna lag är en rättighetslag som innebär att individen har rätt till vissa insatser. I denna uppsats tittar jag närmar på hur en LSS handläggares arbetssituation ser ut, vilka problem och bekymmer kan de stötta på samt vad de egentligen anser om lagen. Jag har valt att använda en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Detta för jag vill få en förståelse för hur LSS handläggare upplever sin arbetssituation och se erfarenheterna som den enskilda personen bär med sig. Jag har intervjuat sju LSS handläggare från fem olika kommuner.

För att förstå handläggarnas situation har jag tagit hjälp av tre olika sociologer, Ralph Lintons Rollteori, Max Webers teori om byråkrati samt idealtyper, C Wright Mills tolkning av koncepten problem och bekymmer.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att belysa hur LSS-handläggare tolkade begreppet barnperspektiv och hur detta applicerades i utredningsarbetet. Vi har genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med sex LSS-handläggare och resultaten analyserades med hjälp av teorin om sociala konstruktioner. I analysen av intervjuerna identifierades fem centrala teman som vi såg som förklarande faktorer angående hur LSS-handläggarna applicerade barnperspektivet i handläggningen. Dessa teman var utredningsförfarandet, avsaknaden av riktlinjer och utredningsmetod, barnperspektivet kontra barns perspektiv, delaktighet och inflytande samt kommunikation. Det framkom att avsaknaden av riktlinjer och utredningsmetoder medförde att LSS-handläggarna själva fick konstruera egna sätt för hur barnperspektivet skulle appliceras. Samtliga LSS-handläggare kunde definiera hur de själva uppfattade barnperspektivet men däremot hade de svårigheter att veta hur detta rent praktiskt skulle tillämpas. Analysresultatet visade att det mestadels var den vuxnes syn på barnperspektivet som var rådande och inte barnets egen syn på sin tillvaro. Kommunikationssårigheter var en bidragande orsak till bristen på delaktighet och inflytande hos barn med funktionsnedsättningar.
The purpose of this study was to elucidate how LSS administrators interpreted the concept of child perspective and how this was applied in the investigation. We conducted qualitative interviews with six LSS administrators and the results were analyzed using the theory of social constructions. The analysis of the interviews identified five key themes that we saw as explanatory factors regarding how LSS administrators applied the child perspective in the investigations. These themes were investigative procedure, the lack of guidance and investigation method, the child perspective versus the child´s own point of view, participation and influence, and communication. It was found that the lack of guidelines and methods of investigation led to the LSS administrators themselves had to construct their own way of how the child perspective should be applied. All LSS administrators could define how they perceived the child´s perspective but they had difficulty in knowing how this should be applied in practice. The analytical results showed that it was mostly the adult´s views on the child´s perspective that was present and not the child´s own view of his existence. Communication difficulties were a contributing factor to the lack of involvement and influence of children with disabilities.

The aim of this study was to examine the occurence of norms in court cases regarding the Swedish law of support and service for disabled (Lag 1993:387 om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade) with the help of a discourse analysis method. More specifically its aim was to examine and identify norms in the different dictums/statements that were to be found in the court cases regarding the supportive institution "contact person" according to the Swedish law "LSS" with the help of a norm science approach. The aim was also to examine when the applicant was found to be entitled to a contact person according to the LSS-law. To be able to do this, the author studied thirty-four different court cases. In these cases six themes were found, that indicated the occurence of norms. The conclusion was that there were indeed norms occurring in the court cases, due to a normative legislation and therefore the interpretations of the legislation also become normative, but also due to the fact that judges and social workers incorporate their own internalized societal norms in their judgements.

In a study made in 2012 the statistics showed that more men, with autism, conditions resembling autism and developmental disabilities, use the escortservice according to LSS (The Law of support and service for disabled persons). The purpose of this study is to investigate how an information meeting, between the LSS-administrator and the individual who seek support, is executed. And what information is given to individuals with autism, conditions resembling autism and developmental disabilities. The method used for this study is semistructural interviews with eight LSS-administrators in six municipalities in Kalmar County in Sweden. In the analysis of the result, Yvonne Hirdman’s theory of gender and Charles R Bantz theory of organizations as socially constructed among others, was being used. The results showed no difference in the execution of the information meetings or the information that was provided to men and women with autism, conditions resembling autism and developmental disabilities. The inequality was not something the LSS-administrators had reflected over or discussed. The only difference shown was between the municipalities guidelines when it came to interpreting the law (LSS). After analyzing the result of the study with the chosen theories a possible explanation, for the statistics shown in the previous study that was made in 2012, was presented. The results and analyze showed that the LSS- administrators could have different perceptions about men and women, and therefore gave men and women different information.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att redogöra för hur man arbetar med frågor rörande bostäder med särskild service för vuxna (LSS § 9p9) i Hallands sex kommuner.

Metod och material: I denna uppsats har jag valt att använda mig av intervjuer som metod för materialinsamling. Jag har även valt att använda en komparativ metod för att utföra jämförelser kommunerna emellan. Genom jämförelser är det möjligt att studera likheter/olikheter kring LSS-bostäder.

Sammanfattning: I denna uppsats har såväl politiker som tjänstemän intervjuats för att diskutera frågor som rör bostäder med särskild service för vuxna enligt LSS § 9p9. Det resultat som framkommit bör ses som positivt på så sätt att kommunerna kan verkställa de flesta beslut rörande LSS-bostäder för vuxna. Dock anses valfriheten vara begränsad vad gäller LSS-bostäder. Det finns en vilja att utveckla nya boendeformer men beslut har inte fattas i merparten av kommunerna.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur personal inom LSS upplever brukares möjlighet till inflytande och självbestämmande avseende sina måltidssituationer. Syftet är uppdelat i två frågeställningar, för det första hur personal upplever brukares möjlighet till inflytande och självbestämmande rörande måltider. För det andra, vilket organisatoriskt handlingsutrymme personalen har rörande brukares måltidssituationer. Det empiriska materialet består av sex intervjuer med sex informanter, som alla arbetar i två olika kommuner i Sverige. Resultatet visar att det har hänt mycket för brukarna i positiv riktning rörande självbestämmande, framförallt sedan avinstitutionaliseringen på 1980-talet. Samtliga informanter upplever att brukare idag har stort inflytande och stort självbestämmande över det som rör deras måltider. Avseende handlingsutrymme upplever informanterna att det finns ett organisatoriskt ramverk att följa, samtidigt som det finns utrymme för att gå in mer självständigt i arbetet och fatta egna beslut. Personalen skapar sig handlingsutrymme om organisationens styrsystem inte är tillräckligt anpassade för verksamheten. Vi kan konstatera att resultaten i denna studie till stor del samstämmer med tidigare gjord forskning, men att studien samtidigt innehåller nya element inför framtida forskning.Nyckelord: delaktighet, funktionsnedsättning, inflytande, LSS, måltider, självbestämmande.
The purpose of this study is to illustrate how social workers within the Swedish act concerning support and service for persons with certain functional impairments experience these persons ability for self-determination and influence regarding meal situations. The purpose is broken down into two main questions, firstly how social workers experience the functional impaired possibilities for influence in meal situations. Secondly, what kind of discretion does the social worker have within the organisation, regarding these clients’ meal situations. The empirical material consists of six interviews with six social workers, working in two different communities in Sweden. The result shows that a lot has happened in positive direction concerning the functional impaired possibilities for self-determination, especially since the deinstitutionalization in the 1980’s. All informants perceive that functional impaired today have great influence and great autonomy related to their meals. The informants experience that there is an organizational framework to follow, while there is room to be independent at work and to make their own decisions. The staff creates the discretion if the organization's management system is not sufficiently tailored to the business. We can conclude that the results of this study mostly is in alignment with previous research done, but the study also includes new elements for future research.Keywords: autonomy, disability, discretion, influence, LSS, meals, participation, self-determination.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur LSS-handläggarna upplever arbetet med samordnade och/eller individuella planer i sina ärenden med personer beviljade insatser enligt 9§ LSS. Studien var kvalitativ och data samlades in genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer. Uppsatsens tre frågeställningar (rutiner och arbetsmetoder, syfte med planerna samt hur planerna fungerar som verktyg för kvalitetssäkring) har varit en röd tråd genom arbetet. Det framkommer i studien att inte alla kommuner har rutiner gällande erbjudande samt upprättande av planerna. Resultaten visade dock på att man upplever att planerna tjänar ett bra och tydligt syfte, om det är möjligt för den enskilde att tillgodogöra sig planen. Studien visar även på att brist på resurser och kunskap om planerna hos LSS-handläggarna kan påverka arbetet negativt. Utbildningsmöjligheterna för LSS-handläggarna bör ökas för att effektivisera arbetet med planerna. En eventuell omformulering av lagtext efterlyses även då man anser att den inte är anpassad utifrån hur verkligheten ser ut.

Abstract:
Syftet med uppsatsen är att bvelysa handläggning och dokumentation av ansökningar om särskilt boende enligt LSS och genomförandeplaner för insatsen samt att se hur dessa dokument avspeglar personernas livssituation. Elva utredningar om ansökan om särskilt boende enligt LSS och fem genomförandeplaner har undersökts i en kommun i Sverige. Datamaterialet är från åren 2007 till 2011. Materialet har studerats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys som analysmetod. Studien visade att utredningarna har blivit mer utförliga med tiden. I de senare fanns mer omfattande beskrivningar om personerna. Anledningen till ansökan var att man nyligen insjuknat, skulle flytta från föräldrahemmet eller att en tidigare insats inte hade fungerat. Samtliga i studien saknade lönearbete, däremot hade majoriteten behållning av någon form av daglig verksamhet. Många i studien hade haft en svår livssituation under barndomen och i vuxen ålder. Den målsättning som de flesta hade var att på olika sätt nå ökad självständighet i livet. Vissa personer som varit isolerade eller haft en inaktiv fritid fick efter att de fått särskilt boende en mer aktiv och social fritid. Med insatsen särskilt boende enlig LSS gick det att se att personerna fick ett bättre stöd som var bättre anpassat efter deras behov. Stödet ges dock inom en organisatorisk ram som delvis styr den enskildas vardag.

I Sverige finns det cirka 4,5 miljoner bostäder och den siffran stiger i lika snabb takt med den ökande befolkningen. Riksdagen har beslutat att energianvändningen ska minska i två etapper utifrån EU:s direktiv att uppnå så kallade näranollenergibyggnader.Här beskrivs vilka parametrar som utgör en byggnads energiprestanda och hur man sänker energianvändningen i bostäder genom VVS-projektering. Framförallt hur man kan nå detta utifrån den ekonomiska aspekten. Vilka regler och krav måste följas för att inte påverka människans hälsa.Projektet innefattar teoretiska sammanställningar av VVS komponenter som är grunden till genomförandet. Den tänkta bostaden byggdes upp och simulerades i simuleringsprogrammet IDA ICE för att plocka fram viktig information till VVS-projekteringen.Resultatet visar att en bergvärmepump är en fördelaktig värmekälla ekonomiskt men framförallt energimässigt. Ventilationssystemet klarade att upprätthålla ett gott inomhusklimat utan att bryta mot några föreskrifter.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur barnperspektivet beaktas vid handläggning inom LSS, samt att undersöka hur barnets rättigheter, enligt Barnkonventionen, beaktas under processen. Eftersom Barnkonventionen blir lag 2020 ville vi få insikt i hur Barnkonventionen används praktiskt inom LSS. I studien har vi två frågeställningar för att besvara vårt syfte, Vad innebär det att ha ett barnperspektiv i praktiken inom LSS-handläggning? och Hur tillämpas Barnkonventionen i ärenden som berör barn? För att besvara frågeställningarna använde vi oss av en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer, där vi intervjuade åtta biståndshandläggare som arbetar inom LSS. För att analysera materialet från intervjuerna använde vi kodning och tematisering. Följande teman hittades; miljö, kommunikation och delaktighet, dokumentation, föräldrar till barn med funktionsnedsättning, barn som anhöriga och kunskapsbrist och utbildning. Det empiriska materialet analyserades med hjälp av vårt kunskapsläge och våra utvalda teorier barndomssociologi, Foucaults maktteori och KASAM. Resultatet av vår studie har visat att det saknas kunskap och resurser när det gäller barn med funktionsnedsättning. Biståndshandläggarna vet inte hur olika kommunikationshjälpmedel och Barnkonventionen används i praktiken, vilket resulterar i att barn med funktionsnedsättning berövas sina rättigheter. Vi kan se mycket engagemang och vilja hos biståndshandläggarna eftersom de vill förbättra denna situation, men mer ansträngning krävs för att utveckla metoder som kan främja rättssäkerhet för barn med funktionsnedsättningar.
The purpose of this study is to examine how the child's perspective is taken into account when dealing with LSS, and to understand if the child's rights, according to the Children's rights convention, is taken into account during the process. As the Children’s rights convention becomes a law in 2020 we wanted to gain insight into how the children's rights convention is used practically within LSS. In the study we have two questions to answer about our purpose, What does it mean to have a child perspective in practice within LSS handling? and How is the Children's rights convention applied in cases involving children? To answer the questions, we have chosen to use a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews, where we interviewed eight care managers working with LSS. In order to analyze the material, obtained from the interviews, we used coding and thematization. The following themes were found; environment, communication and participation, documentation, parents of children with disabilities, children as a relative and lack of knowledge and education. The empirical material was analyzed with the help of our state of knowledge and our selected theories childhood sociology, Foucault’s power theory and KASAM. The result of our study has shown that there is a lack of knowledge and resources, regarding children with disabilities. The care managers doesn’t know how different communication aids and the Children’s rights convention, is being used in practice, which result in children with disabilities being deprived of their rights. We can see a great deal of commitment and a willingness in the care managers because they want to improve this situation, but more effort is needed to develop methods that can promote legal security for children with disabilities.
