Abstract:
In this study, we propose a liquid-phase-deposited silver nanoparticle embedded ZnO (LPD-Ag NP/ZnO) thin film at room temperature to improve the light extraction efficiency (LEE) for InGaN/GaN light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The treatment solution for the deposition of the LPD-Ag/NP ZnO thin film comprised a ZnO-powder-saturated HCl and a silver nitrate (AgNO3) aqueous solution. The enhanced LEE of an InGaN/GaN LED with the LPD-Ag NP/ZnO window layer can be attributed to the surface texture and localized surface plasmon (LSP) coupling effect. The surface texture of the LPD-Ag/NP ZnO window layer relies on the AgNO3 concentration, which decides the root-mean-square (RMS) roughness of the thin film. The LSP resonance or extinction wavelength also depends on the concentration of AgNO3, which determines the Ag NP size and content of Ag atoms in the LPD-Ag NP/ZnO thin film. The AgNO3 concentration for the optimal LEE of an InGaN/GaN LED with an LPD-Ag NP/ZnO window layer occurs at 0.05 M, which demonstrates an increased light output intensity that is approximately 1.52 times that of a conventional InGaN/GaN LED under a 20-mA driving current.

Abstract:
Measurement and Performance appraisal are the important component of the Village Credit Institution (LPD). The management can also use LPD performance measurement as a tool to evaluate its business performance. There is a weakness in performance measurement, namely performance measurement that only measures financial performance, but has not been able to fully describe the condition of LPD to non-financial performance. This research was explanatory with the form of causality between variables. The number of LPD to be sampled were 59 LPD. The data analysis technique used in this study was SEM-PLS. Based on the results of hypothesis testing showed that the performance of the non-financial perspective has a significant positive effect on the performance of the financial perspective of the LPD in Buleleng Regency. Second, the performance of non-financial perspectives has a significant positive effect on the performance of a social perspective based on Tri Hita Karana LPD in Buleleng Regency. The three financial perspective performance and non-financial perspective performance have a significant positive effect on the performance of a social perspective based on Tri Hita Karana LPD in Buleleng Regency.

Abstract:
AbstractDiabetic nephropathy (DN) is a major cause of chronic kidney disease. We aimed to investigate the effect of the low-protein diets (LPD) supplemented with ketoacids (LPD+KA) in KKAy mice, an early type 2 DN model. KKAy mice were treated with normal protein diet (NPD), LPD or LPD+KA from 12 to 24 weeks of age. A period of 12-week treatment with LPD significantly reduced albuminuria as compared with that observed after NPD treatment. Treatment with LPD+KA further reduced albuminuria as compared with that observed with LPD treatment alone. Moreover, LPD treatment reduced mesangial expansion, thickness of glomerular basement membrane and the severity of the podocyte foot process effacement in KKAy mice; these effects were more pronounced in KKAy mice treated with LPD+KA. Both LPD and LPD+KA treatments slightly reduced total body weight, but had no significant effect on kidney weight and blood glucose concentrations when compared with NPD-treated KKAy mice. LPD treatment slightly attenuated oxidative stress in kidneys as compared with that observed in NPD-treated KKAy mice; however, LPD+KA treatment remarkably ameliorated oxidative stress in diabetic kidneys as shown by decreased malondialdehyde concentrations, protein carbonylation, nitrotyrosine expression and increased superoxide dismutase expression. Nutritional therapy using LPD+KA confers additional renal benefits as compared with those of LPD treatment alone in early type 2 DN through inhibition of oxidative stress.

Abstract:
Increasing the intensity of competition requires that every organization always pay attention to the dynamics of customer needs, wants and preferences and try to fulfill them in a way that is more effective and efficient compared to its competitors. The results of research on organizations that implement SERVQUAL (Service Quality) dimensions are proven as organizations that have sustainable competitiveness. LPD as a financial service institution should strive to provide quality services to its customers, but empirical data shows that in 2015 and 2016, around 28% of LPDs in Bali are still performing poorly. Performance is influenced by various factors, one of which is service quality. Filling in the gap, the SERVQUAL training is very necessary for the LPD. The purpose of this training is to motivate LPDs to intensively implement the SERVQUAL (Reliability, Tangiable, Responsiveness, Assurance, Emphaty) dimensions so that they become the LPD's organizational culture. Achieving these objectives is done through training with lecture methods, question and answer and demonstration. The implementation of this training went well and smoothly, and was able to motivate the management and LPD employees to implement the SERVQUALdimension.

Abstract:
Abstract Background Laparoscopic pancreatoduodenectomy is a highly challenging procedure. The aim of this study was to analyse post-operative morbidity and mortality as well as long term overall survival in patients undergoing hybrid LPD, as compared to open pancreaticoduodenecomy (OPD) in a single surgeon series. Methods Patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy (PD) in the period from 2000 to 2015 were identified from a prospectively maintained database. All LPD procedures were performed by one specialised pancreatic surgeon (TK). Patients were matched 1 : 1 for age, sex, BMI, ASA, histological diagnosis, pancreatic texture and portal venous resection (PVR). All LPD procedures were performed as hybrid LPD – combining laparoscopic resection and open reconstruction via mini laparotomy. Results A total of 549 patients were identified, including 489 patients in the OPD group and 60 patients in the LPD group. 60 patients were identified who underwent LPD between 2010 and 2015 versus 60 OPD patients operated in the same period. Median overall operation time was shorter in the LPD group than with OPD patients (LPD 352 vs. OPD 397 min; p = 0.002). Overall transfusion units were lower in the LPD group (LPD range 0 – 4 vs. OPD range 0 – 11; p = 0.032). Intensive care unit stay (LPD 1 vs. OPD 6 d; p = 0.008) and overall hospital stay (OHS: LPD 14 vs. OPD 18 d; p = 0.012) were shorter in the LPD groups than in the OPD group. As regards postoperative complications, LPD was associated with reduced rates of clinically relevant grade B/C postoperative pancreatic fistula (LPD 15 vs. OPD 36%; p = 0.036) and grade B/C delayed gastric emptying (LPD 8 vs. OPD 20%; p = 0.049). A total of 56 patients were diagnosed with malignant disease. The number of harvested lymph nodes and R0-resection rates were equal for LPD and OPD patients. LPD patients showed a trend to improved median overall survival (LPD mean 56 months vs. OPD mean 48 months; p = 0.056). Conclusion Hybrid LPD is a safe procedure associated with a reduction in clinically relevant postoperative complications and allows faster recovery. Long term oncological outcome of hybrid LPD for malignant disease is equal to that with the standard open approach.

Abstract:
The link between male diet and sperm quality has received significant investigation. However, the impact diet and dietary supplements have on the testicular environment has been examined to a lesser extent. Here, we establish the impact of a sub-optimal low protein diet (LPD) on testicular morphology, apoptosis and serum fatty acid profiles. Furthermore, we define whether supplementing a LPD with specific methyl donors abrogates any detrimental effects of the LPD. Male C57BL6 mice were fed either a control normal protein diet (NPD; 18% protein; n = 8), an isocaloric LPD (LPD; 9% protein; n = 8) or an LPD supplemented with methyl donors (MD-LPD; choline chloride, betaine, methionine, folic acid, vitamin B12; n = 8) for a minimum of 7 weeks. Analysis of male serum fatty acid profiles by gas chromatography revealed elevated levels of saturated fatty acids and lower levels of mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids in MD-LPD males when compared to NPD and/or LPD males. Testes of LPD males displayed larger seminiferous tubule cross section area when compared to NPD and MD-LPD males, while MD-LPD tubules displayed a larger luminal area. Furthermore, TUNNEL staining revealed LPD males possessed a reduced number of tubules positive for apoptosis, while gene expression analysis showed MD-LPD testes displayed decreased expression of the pro-apoptotic genes Bax, Csap1 and Fas when compared to NPD males. Finally, testes from MD-LPD males displayed a reduced telomere length but increased telomerase activity. These data reveal the significance of sub-optimal nutrition for paternal metabolic and reproductive physiology.

Abstract:
Abstract Abstract 1161 Poster Board I-183 Introduction The number of cord blood transplantation (CBT) is rapidly increasing. In this setting, development of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated lymphoproliferative disorder (LPD) appears to be at high risk. To clarify this issue, we retrospectively analyzed EBV serology and clinical course of 57 patients who received CBT during the past 12 years. Patients and methods We underwent 79 CBT until 2008. Fifty-seven patients were available for assessing EBV serology. The mean age of patients was 63 months (range, 6m-28y5m). The underlying disease was hematologic malignancy (n=27), hematologic non-malignancy (n=10), autoimmune disease (n=2), solid tumor (n=7), and EBV-associated T/NK-LPD (n=11). Results Forty-six (80.7%) of the 57 recipients were EBV seropositive before CBT (sero+/). Nineteen (41.3%) of 46 EBV seropositive recipients before CBT became EBV seronegative after CBT (sero+/sero-). Five patients (8.8%) developed EBV-associated post-transplantation LPD. Three of the 5 LPD patients arose from 27 patients of sero+/sero+ group, and the time of onset of LPD was 2-6 months after CBT. Two of them died of LPD. The remaining 2 patients arose from 19 patients of sero+/sero- group, and the time of onset of LPD was 6-9 months. These 2 patients were successfully treated. None of the 11 patients (6 in sero-/sero- group and 5 in sero-/sero+ group) developed LPD. Discussion Among EBV seropositive patients, about 60% of them remained seropositive (endogenous infection group), and 40% of them became seronegative after CBT. The latter group is likely to experience exogenous infection (secondary primary infection). In both instances, incidence of LPD seems to be quite high. Therefore regular monitoring of EBV serology and EBV-DNA load after CBT should be essentially required for all CBT patients. Disclosures No relevant conflicts of interest to declare.

Abstract:
The liquid phase of the digestate (LPD) contains a relatively high concentration of nitrogen, with total ammonium nitrogen being the dominant form of nitrogen, as well as other essential nutrients such as phosphorus and potassium. Consequently, it must be treated before it is released into the environment. However, there are no reports of co-purification of LPD in the anammox process in sequencing batch reactor with granular sludge, which is a novelty for the presented research. The main objective of this paper is to assess the possibility of nitrogen removal in the anammox process with LPD from biogas plants conducting the co-fermentation process along with the participation of agricultural products (cattle slurry). This publication presents the research results of the efficiency of the anammox process, accounting for the effect of dissolved organic matter. The conducted experiments revealed the potential of LPD purification, which co-ferments waste activated sludge and bovine slurry for the anammox process. In the reactor ammonium utilization rate (AUR) process with LPD addition increased from 2.3 mg N/(g VSS∙h) with 0.5% LPD addition to 8.5 mg N/(g VSS∙h) with 7.5% LPD addition. SAA in the reactor with LPD addition increased from 5.3 mg N/(g VSS∙h) with 0.5% LPD addition to 18.5 mg N/(g VSS∙h) with 4 and 5% LPD addition. With the addition of 7.5% LPD, SAA dropped to a value of 18.1 mg N/(g VSS∙h) in the LPD reactor.

Abstract:
Listeria monocytogenesis a foodborne pathogen capable of invading a broad range of cell types and replicating within the host cell cytoplasm. This paper describes the colocalization of host cell lamellipodin (Lpd) with intracellularL. monocytogenesdetectable 6 h postinfection of epithelial cells. The association was mediated via interactions between both the peckstrin homology (PH) domain in Lpd and phosphatidylinositol (3,4)-bisphosphate [PI(3,4)P2] on the bacterial surface and by interactions between the C-terminal EVH1 (Ena/VASP [vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein] homology domain 1) binding domains of Lpd and the host VASP (vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein) recruited to the bacterial cell surface by the listerial ActA protein. Depletion of Lpd by short interfering RNA (siRNA) resulted in reduced plaque size and number, indicating a role for Lpd in cell-to-cell spread. In contrast, overexpression of Lpd resulted in an increase in the number ofL. monocytogenes-containing protrusions (listeriopods). Manipulation of the levels of Lpd within the cell also affected the intracellular velocity ofL. monocytogenes, with a reduction in Lpd corresponding to an increase in intracellular velocity. These data, together with the observation that Lpd accumulated at the interface between the bacteria and the developing actin tail at the initiation of actin-based movement, indicate a possible role for Lpd in the actin-based movement and the cell-to-cell spread ofL. monocytogenes.

Village Credit Union “Lembaga Perkreditan Desa” (LPD) continues to develop into an autonomous and tough intermediary institution. This paper discusses LPD as a model of superior traditional financial institutions, and its role in supporting the economic culture of the people of Bali. This paper is the result of qualitative research with data obtained from observation, documentation study and interview with 10 informants: LPD credit recipients, practitioners and observers of LPD. The data were descriptively, qualitatively, and interpretatively analyzed using economic management theory and the theory of social practice (Bourdieu). The results show: Firstly, LPD develops into a formidable traditional financial institution because: (a) LPD was autonomous, not subject to central policy, but refer to local regulations and awig-awig; (b) Implementation of modern global banking management, ie management functions, 5C principles, and innovation of LPD products and implementastion of cultural values ??of local organizations including Hindu philosophy on prosperity Tri Hita Karana, Catur Asrama and human relations manyamebraya. Secondly, the existence of LPD was able to improve socio-economic welfare and sustain the cultural traditions of indigenous villagers in Bali.

Abstract:
There are a wide variety of diseases characterized by abnormal proliferation of lymphocytes, with differing clinical manifestations and in a spectrum from benign to malignant. Underlying all of these disorders, however, are subversions of normal lymphocyte signaling pathways that contribute to the pathologic process, can be characterized, and can potentially be targeted. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common cancer of childhood and an example of malignant LPD, while patients with nonmalignant LPD, such as autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome (ALPS), can be difficult to diagnose, suffer from chronic infections that can be life-threatening, have a decreased life expectancy, and often require long-term treatment with immunosuppressive agents, including steroids, which can result in long-term debilitating consequences. In order to improve outcome and potentially reduce side effects and long-term sequelae from current cytotoxic therapy, the development of novel, biologically relevant, molecular, and cellular targeted therapies is critical. Potential targeted therapies can be identified and tested using in vitro assays, in vitro bone marrow stromal cell culture systems, murine models of ALL and LPD, and xenografts of primary human ALL. These pre-clinical assays have indentified promising and clinically relevant targets in the mTOR, IL-7, and Notch pathways, some which are now being tested in clinical trials. These include rapamycin, being tested in both ALL and ALPS; temsirolimus, a second generation rapamycin analogue that shows promise in combination with cytotoxic chemotherapy in ALL; inhibitors of IL-7 signaling; and DAPT, a gamma-secretase inhibitor that has shown pre-clinical activity against both lymphoproliferation and autoimmune manifestations including nephritis in ALPS.

The objective of the present study was to compare the efficacy of a low-protein diet supplemented with ketoacids (LPD+KA) and a low-protein diet alone (LPD) in halting the development of renal lesions in CKD. 5/6 Nephrectomy Sprague–Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups, and fed with either 22 % protein (normal-protein diet; NPD), 6 % protein (LPD) or 5 % protein plus 1 % ketoacids (LPD+KA) for 24 weeks. Sham-operated rats were used as controls. Each 5/6 nephrectomy group included fifteen rats and the control group included twelve rats. Proteinuria, decreased renal function, glomerular sclerosis and tubulointerstitial fibrosis were found in the remnant kidneys of the NPD group. Protein restriction ameliorated these changes, and the effect was more obvious in the LPD+KA group after 5/6 nephrectomy. Lower body weight and serum albumin levels were found in the LPD group, indicating protein malnutrition. Lipid and protein oxidative products were significantly increased in the LPD group compared with the LPD+KA group. These findings indicate that a LPD supplemented with ketoacids is more effective than a LPD alone in protecting the function of remnant kidneys from progressive injury, which may be mediated by ketoacids ameliorating protein malnutrition and oxidative stress injury in remnant kidney tissue.

Abstract:
Background:Lymphoproliferative disorders (LPD) that develop in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients treated with MTX (MTX-LPD) is one of the important complications for RA patients. We have previously epidemiologically demonstrated an association between MTX and the development of LPD in RA patients1). MTX-LPD has varied pathologies including various clinical symptom and histological finding. Therefore, we need more information about MTX-LPD. In addition, it is one of the characteristics for MTX-LPD that spontaneous regression (SR) after MTX discontinuation. However, the mechanism of SR is not clarified. Objectives:We collect the information such as clinical symptom and histological finding of MTX-LPD with RA patients, and clarify the clinical features of MTX-LPD. In addition, we investigated the difference between SR cases and cases that treated with chemotherapy after MTX discontinuation (CTx cases). Methods:We enrolled 90 MTX-LPD patients from Kagawa Prefecture, Japan between June 2005 and December 2019. Patients were diagnosed according to American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 1987 classification criteria or ACR/European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) 2010 classification criteria, and treated with disease modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) including MTX. We collected as follow information; age, gender, duration of RA, laboratory data (lymphocyte counts and sIL-2R) and treatment of MTX-LPD. In addition, we divided 16 MTX-LPD cases diagnosed histological into two groups (SR:CTx group; n=10:6), and analyzed the histological findings (CD4, CD8, CD163 and CD47) using the staining in immunohistochemistry (IHC) between the two groups. Each positive cell analyzed using virtual viewer soft ImageScope. Results:Characteristics of 90 MTX-LPD patients are as follow; mean age 66.5±11.2 years,63 female, duration of RA 18.5±19.4 years. 65 patients (72.2%) were spontaneously improved by discontinuing MTX. 58 patients (64.4%) were proven MTX-LPD histologically. In these patients, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) was the most frequent histological type of MTX-LPD (56.9%). Infiltration of CD8 positive lymphocyte in the lesion was significant less in the SR cases than in the CTx cases (Figure 1). However, CD4, CD163 and CD47 positive cells had no significant difference between two groups.Figure 1.CD8 positive lymphocytes in the specimen of lesion using the staining in immunohistochemistry (IHC) between SR and CTxgroup. Conclusion:We revealed clinical features of MTX-LPD with RA patients. In addition, CD8 positive lymphocytes are involved in tumor immunity. In this study, we suggested that the extent of CD8 positive lymphocyte infiltration may predict SR of MTX-LPD. Further study is necessary on revealing the mechanism of SR in MTX-LPD.References:[1]Kameda T. et al. Arthritis Care Res (Hoboken). 2014 Sep;66(9):1302-9.Disclosure of Interests:None declared
