Zum Ende der christlichen Antike, also in Zeiten von Gregor des Grossen ist die Formulierung: ad beati apostolorum principis limina nicht nur zum Synonym für Kultstätten von Apostel, aber auch von Rom als Stuhl Petri geworden. Zu dieser Zeit wurde der Glaube an Schutz der Apostel, vor allem des Heiligen Petrus über Rom, das damals von verschiedenem Unheil und Kataklysmen geplagt wurde, geboren. Selbst die Bischöfe von Rom begünstigten die Reisen nach Rom und verliehen diesen einen geistlichen Charakter – ad limina apostolorum, peregrinatio pro Ecclesia. Die Errichtung von Pilgervierteln in der Nähe von römischen loca sancta, die für Leute gedacht waren, die eine Wallfahrt unternahmen, wurde zur „Ehrensache” für Bischöfe und weltliche Würdenträger, da es als deutliches Zeichen der Umsetzung der von Christi anbefohlenen christlichen Tugenden wie: Gastlichkeit – hospitalitas und Dienstbarkeit dem Nächsten galt. Diese „Nebeneinrichtungen” für Einreisende in die Kultstätten garantierten Ihnen einige Bequemlichkeiten, den Seelsorgern dagegen verhalfen im Katechese und „Aufsicht” über die Pilger.

Abstract:

Гробница св. Иоанна Предтечи, расположенная в подземной крипте под латинским собором в Себастии, почитается с раннехристианского периода до наших дней. Архитектурная постройка, в которой размещается крипта с часовней над ней, значительно перестраивалась как минимум три раза и в настоящий момент является мечетью (ранневизантийский период, период крестоносцев, позднеисламский период). Во время недавней разведки памятника (С. Тарханова, Х. Школьник, 2019 г.) было обнаружено множество римских и ранневизантийских деталей. Отдельные из них были включены в средневековую кладку церкви или разбросаны на ее территории. Среди них были фусты колонн из проконнеского и каристейского мраморов, из ассуанского красного и троадского серого гранитов, из местного известняка, аттические и тосканские базы, коринфские капители, также из серого мрамора и известняка, элементы литургической мебели, стенки мраморных саркофагов с крестами и т. д. Помимо этого, на восток от церкви крестоносцев была обнаружена хорошо сохранившаяся апсида с арочным окном и рельефным крестом под ним, которая, по мнению автора, может быть датирована ранневизантийским периодом (V-VI вв.). Данная апсида была условно изображена на рисунках путешественников в первой половине XIX в. Латинский собор - довольно известный монумент, так как он был официально открыт в первой половине XX в. во время Объединенной экспедиции в Самарию (результаты работ именно по этому памятнику не опубликованы). Но его ранневизантийская фаза не была изучена должным образом, в то время как перестройка крестоносцев представлена в подробной публикации Прингла. Только одна ранневизантийская капитель попала в публикацию Крауфута. Все остальные детали, представленные здесь, публикуются впервые спустя практически столетие (или больше) после их не зафиксированного в научных трудах открытия. Также предлагается локализация ранневизантийской церкви частично на восток от сохранившейся постройки крестоносцев и частично под ней. Проводятся первичное описание, стилистический анализ, предлагаются классификация и датировка архитектурных остатков и разрозненного скульптурного декора. Приведены отдельные параллели в местном и имперском художественном контексте соответствующих периодов, хотя основная цель статьи заключается в том, чтобы заново открыть совершенно забытые образцы ранневизантийского искусства, которые некогда украшали одно из важнейших loca sancta Святой Земли. The tomb of St. John the Forerunner beneath the Latin Cathedral in Sebaste has been venerated since the Early Christian times until nowadays. The architectural edifice itself was vastly rebuilt at least three times (Early Byzantine (5th-6th centuries CE), Crusader (11th-13th centuries CE), Late Islamic (not clear)), being used as a mosque today. During the personal survey at the site (S. Tarkhanova, H. Shkolnik 2019) plenty of Early Byzantine and Roman architectural members, secondarily incorporated into the church, or scattered near it, were noticed. Also the well-preserved Early Byzantine apse was recovered to the east from the Crusader building (both were conventionally depicted on the drawings of the 19th century of David Roberts). Although the Latin Cathedral is generally known, as it was excavated in the 1st half of the 20th century by the Joint Samaria Expedition (unpublished), its Early Byzantine phase wasn’t studied properly. Thus, except of one capital, all the other decorative elements are firstly published, as well as the Byzantine monument itself is localized for the first time. The author offers preliminary description, stylistic analyses, classification and dating of the architectural remains and decorative elements. Some initial parallels show them in the context of local and Imperial artistic tendencies of the time, though the main aim of the article was concentrated on the recovering of completely forgotten pieces of Byzantine art, which once decorated one of the most important loca sancta of the Holy Land.

Abstract:

Araucaria angustifolia seeds are the basis for the rural economy in southern Brazil, and the species presents different botanical varieties. The objective of this work was to evaluate the diversity of physical, physiological and biochemical characteristics of Araucaria angustifolia seeds from local varieties: ‘sancti josephi’, ‘angustifolia’, ‘caiova’, and ‘indehiscens’. Seeds were collected from the cities of Painel and Urubici in Santa Catarina State and tested for moisture content, 1000-seed weight, emergence, emergence speed index (ESI), root and shoot length, electrical conductivity, tetrazolium, soluble carbohydrates, and starch content. Among the varieties cited above, the angustifolia variety from Painel displayed a greater 1000-seed weight, ESI, electrical conductivity and shoot length. However, the sancti josephi variety displayed a lower emergence percentage, 1000-seed weight, ESI, root and shoot length, and carbohydrate content. In a cluster analysis, based on Euclidean distance, three groups constituting the sancti josephi, indehiscens, and caiova/angustifolia varieties were found. In conclusion, there is great diversity in A. angustifolia seeds. The angustifolia and caiova varieties displayed similar diversity, and their physiological quality was better than that of other varieties. Variety characterization allowed for the compilation of information regarding seed collection and use for seedling production and species conservation.

Abstract:

Manalagi apple (Malus Domestica) is one of the local varieties of apples. Apple rind has benefits such as antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-colliferative. The use of apples needs to be developed in the form of mouthwash products. The aim of the research was to determine the organoleptic evaluation of the manalagi apple peel extract mouthwash formulation. The type of this research was experimental research. The sample in this study was the skin of an apple. The stages in this study were making extracts using the maceration method and making mouthwash formulations of apple peel extracts at concentrations of 25%, 30% and 35%, then organoleptic evaluation was carried out for 4 weeks. The results showed that the organoleptic conditions were the same and stable, namely mint and sweet taste, menthol aroma and no precipitate, and brown color. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that apple peel extract could be formulated as a mouthwash.

Abstract:

Asymmetric cost behavior took a new approach, starting in 2003, with the emergence of the Cost Stickiness Theory (CST) and, since it is something recent, there are still doubts regarding its application in the public sector. In this sense, this study aims to analyze the behavior of costs in local governments in Santa Catarina, from the cost stickiness perspective. This is an empirical, quantitative, and documentary study that uses the population of 295 municipalities in Santa Catarina during the 20-year period, whose transposition of the analysis model was adapted for the public sector. We grouped the costs in blocks, with the proposition of nine regression models with panel data, of which, eight corroborate the cost stickiness phenomenon. Still, the results indicate similarity with the flypaper phenomenon, typical of the public sector, which uses part of the recipe to calculate the asymmetry, in which of the three types of analyzes performed, the use of the recipe is linked to the one that resulted in the highest sticky. Finally, it offers subsidies for the application of CST to the public sector, even in the case of a typical phenomenon of for-profit entities, and concludes that, with the use of fractional revenue (as well as in the phenomenal flypaper) for local governments of Santa Catarina, the behavior of costs appears to be stickier.

This study aimed to observe the effect of supplementation of ENERVON-C and SANTA-e in feed on sperm motility of local cocks. The research was conducted at Reproduction Laboratory, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. The research used 12 local cocks divided into 4 treatment groups : P0 (feed of 521), P1 (feed of 521 + 200 mg ENERVON-C/kg of feed), P2 (feed of 521 + 200 mg SANTA-e/kg feed) and P3 (feed of 521 + 100 mg ENERVON-C/kg of feed and 100 mg SANTA-e/kg of feed). During the research, all cocks were given 100 g of 521 feed/day. Feed with ENERVON-C and SANTA-e was given for 2 weeks before semen collections. Drink was given ad libitum. Data were analysed with analysis of variance and if there are effects among the treatments, analysis will be continued with Duncan Test. Results shows that supplementation of ENERVON-C or SANTA-e and their combination in feed can increase the percentage of sperm motility. There are significant differences (p0,05) between control and treatment groups. To sum up, supplementation of ENERVON-C or SANTA-e in feed can improve the quality of sperm (motility) of local cocks. The sperm quality is better after giving of ENERVON-C and SANTA-e together than single supplementation.

Os métodos utilizados na pesquisa, além da revisão bibliográfica, feita em livros, artigos e trabalhos científicos, foi feita uma pesquisa in loco, junto a comunidade e ao setor de turismo do poder público. Os principais resultados foram a constatação da ausência de políticas públicas para a utilização e revitalização da Estação Ferroviária, além da falta de segurança para que os turistas e comunidade local possam usufruir das instalações, como ambiente voltado ao lazer e a cultura. Por fim, sugere se um projeto de intervenção turística para a estação e de educação patrimonial para a comunidade santa-mariense.

One of the causes of diarrhea is the behavior of the community and as an indicator of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior in household arrangements. In fact, all of this cannot be separated from the participation and commitment of the local Public Health Center's staff. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment on community culture, sanitation hygiene and the incidence of diarrhea in the community. The sample used in this study is the people who live in the working area of five Public Health Centers in Purbalingga district. The research data were obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires which were then analyzed using Partial Least Square analysis techniques. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it was concluded that: 1) the organizational commitment of the puskesmas officers had an effect on the creation of a good community culture, 2) the organizational commitment of the Public Health Centers officers had an effect on the sanitation hygiene formed in the community around the Public Health Centers, 3) the organizational commitment of the Public Health Centers officers. also affects the incidence of diarrhea in the community, 4) good community culture will support the creation of good sanitation hygiene, 5) good community culture can support the low incidence of diarrhea in the community and 6) sanitation hygiene affects the incidence of community .

Abstract:

This article seeks to show how to design and evaluate the territorial strategic vision of the Rural-Urban Fringe (RUF) in Santa Eufemia, Córdoba, Argentina. The methodology is based on a multi-phase multi-criteria procedure for the municipal government and the actors involved. In phase 1, local problems (opportunities) and aspirations were identified through in-depth interviews. In phase 2, a menu of alternatives was designed and assessed for two strategic decisions that emerged within the interviews, namely, rainwater drainage and local food provision. In phase 3, the actors’ preferences were revealed, and the alternatives were evaluated using the Promethee algorithm. The chosen alternatives were included in the RUF vision and complemented three structural decisions (location of an industrial park, future urban settlements, and waste management). Compared with the prognosis, the alternatives chosen, have a better performance, although some limitations are recognized. One of the alternatives reduces the water runoff that could potentially affect the locality by 50%. Another alternative increases local food production by 27%, generating an economic surplus (12 jobs) and significantly minimizing the risks of zoonotic diseases and agrochemical contamination. However, the alternatives require more investment and an increased institutional political effort than in the prognosis. Finally, the actors appreciated the alternatives designed with the three sustainability dimensions (comparison criteria) and agreed to move forward on a compromise decision about the RUF vision.

Abstract:

The objective of this work was to characterize the grape germplasm in Santa Catarina, Brazil, using microsatellite DNA markers (simple sequence repeats - SSR). The DNA samples were collected from leaves and shoots of accessions of public and private collections from the counties Urussanga, Nova Trento, Rodeio, São Joaquim, Campos Novos, Videira, and Água Doce. Ten SSR loci (VVS2, VVMD5, VVMD7, VVMD27, VrZAG62, VrZAG79, VVMD25, VVMD28, VVMD31, and VVMD32) were analysed by capillary electrophoresis. Molecular profiling was conducted for 190 grapevines (European, American, and hybrids), and 67 genotypes were obtained. The data were compared with each other and with those from the literature and from online databases, in order to identify varieties and discover cases of synonymy and homonymy. Forty molecular profiles corresponded to known varieties, while 27 genotypes were described for the first time. The existence of typical germplasm composed mainly of American and hybrid varieties is an important finding for local viticulture. Applications of the results rely on quality control and certification at the nursery level. Increasing precision in the characterization of grapevine genotypes may help breeding programs.

Abstract:

O presente trabalho busca evidenciar a importância histórica do meteorito brasileiro Santa Catharina, descoberto em 1875, em São Francisco do Sul, no estado de Santa Catarina. Cientistas renomados do século XIX, como Auguste Daubrée, estiveram envolvidos na discussão sobre a sua origem extraterrestre, resultando em diversas publicações científicas. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico a respeito do achado, da sua composição química e da exportação de 25 toneladas como minério de níquel para a Europa. A correta identificação do local de queda do Santa Catharina foi possível unindo desenhos cartográficos da época com recursos tecnológicos atuais como o Gaia GPS.

The sancha river mouth is located at the intersection of qinhuai river and Yangtze river. The flow movement of sancha River mouth are affected by application of sancha river gate and Yangtze River. The flow characteristics of the river mouth is very complex. The numerical simulation is used to study the flow movement. The 2-D depth-averaged mathematical model has been established. The govering equations and numerical simulation of flow movement are given in the boundary-fitting orthogonal coordinate systems. The model verification has done by the field data. The flow movement are computed for different application mode of sancha river gate and Yangtze river level. The mainstream line variation and local inverse flow are analyzed for the sancha river mouth.

O artigo trata de um trabalho de pesquisa-ação realizado no Hospital Colônia Santa Teresa, antigo leprosário de Santa Catarina (Brasil). Este trabalho propôs inicialmente uma atividade envolvendo pacientes e funcionários da Instituição e alunos da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, e teve como resultado uma exposição idealizada e protagonizada pelos sujeitos sociais que vivem ou viveram no local ou que, de alguma forma, tiveram algum envolvimento com a hanseníase naquele espaço. De forma geral, o processo coletivo de criação da exposição seu deu por meio de Rodas de Conversa, nas quais se buscou apresentar a hanseníase no estado através da exposição Lugar de morar, lugar de cuidar. Apresentaremos os bastidores do processo de criação da referida exposição como um processo de patrimonialização, fundamentado a partir de uma experiência colaborativa.

In this paper, I ask how migrant insertion into the local economy, in particular in the informal economy, has led to contestation over public space in Santa Cruz. Related to this issue, the paper asks what sorts of collective actions are used to defend rights to the use of urban public space, and what are the key points of contention. In my analysis, I look at theoretical connections between the informal economy and urban space, recent changes in the Santa Cruz local economy ‒including accelerated migration and the burgeoning informal economy‒ and conflicts over uses of public urban space.En este trabajo indago cómo la inserción migratoria en la economía local, particularmente en la economía informal, ha llevado a un debate sobre los usos del espacio público en Santa Cruz. En relación con esta problemática, mi trabajo explora qué tipo de acciones colectivas se utilizan para defender los derechos del uso del espacio público urbano, y cuáles son los puntos claves de conflicto. En mi análisis, exploro las conexiones teóricas entre la economía informal y el espacio urbano, los cambios recientes en la economía local de Santa Cruz ‒incluyendo la migración acelerada y la emergente economía informal‒ y los conflictos sobre usos del espacio urbano público.

Abstract:

Santa Cruz Verde 2030 is an inner-city megaproject that will transform the local oil refinery into an urban neighborhood in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. The project is expected to reconfigure Santa Cruz’s tourism model significantly, while applying rather undemocratic planning practices. This paper explores Santa Cruz Verde 2030, focusing on the perception of local stakeholders. My research builds on 18 qualitative interviews with planning authorities, the city’s mayor, political parties, experts from the real estate sector and residents. I identify a large perception gap among the interviewees. While the project’s initiators praise the participatory process, other stakeholders feel neither informed nor integrated. In particular, the “behind closed doors” planning approach has provoked resentment among citizens. In contrast, the possible impact on tourism of the project has given rise to less discussion. This contributes to the “stealthy” touristification strategy that has already transformed large areas of Santa Cruz’s waterfront in past decades. Hence, this paper adds to the ongoing discussion on how to design megaprojects in a more sustainable way, for example, by ensuring political consensus and learning from former megaprojects.

Urbanization causes changes in the local climate by altering the atmosphere of a city and creating the urban climate. Attempting to verify the existence of urban climate in Santa Maria, climatic analysis was made of temperature, wind and relative humidity of data gathered in the field as well as from the meteorological station, in relaction to the regional atmospheric circulation analysis. The results of this study and samples from national and international finding, together with the local analysis of geoecological and geourban components, help in presenting a simulating model of the urban climate of Santa Maria located in the center of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

A pesquisa abrange como área de estudo os municípios de Nova Santa Bárbara, São Jerônimo da Serra e Sapopema, localizados na mesorregião do Norte Pioneiro Paranaense, cuja conjuntura socioeconômica caracteriza-se pelo baixo dinamismo socioeconômico no decorrer do século atual. A potencialidade turística desses municípios representa algumas das possibilidades de desenvolvimento do turismo local. Nesse caso, faz-se necessária a integração das administrações públicas locais em prol da efetivação de um possível roteiro integrado. Para discorrer sobre o assunto analisa-se a potencialidade turística e sua relação com o desenvolvimento local numa perspectiva endógena com a finalidade de fortalecer as ações locais e regionais. Na sequência apresenta-se o potencial turístico existente em Nova Santa Bárbara, São Jerônimo da Serra e Sapopema. Então, explana-se de modo geral sobre as feições paisagísticas potenciais para a prática turística e como estas poderiam se transformar em recursos turísticos. Na paisagem analisada destacam-se as quedas d’água, as grutas, a topografia acidentada, as localidades rurais, as comunidades indígenas etc. Assim, tem-se como objetivo identificar a potencialidade turística dos municípios abordados e tecer alguns apontamentos sobre como esta pode passar a ser um destacado recurso turístico para um roteiro integrado.

El departamento de Santa Rosa posee una diversidad de lugares paisajísticos y naturales que cautivan con facilidad al visitante como la Laguna de Ayarza, la Laguna de El Pino o las playas de Monterrico; que son parte de la piedra angular (fuego, cielo, agua y tierra) de la cosmovisión Xinca. La importancia que reviste la industria turística por su efecto multiplicador y referente para la recuperación de la economía mundial después de que la humanidad logre superar la pandemia COVID-19 o Coronavirus representa un reto sin precedentes. El objetivo del artículo es presentar los hallazgos relacionados al análisis de las carreras de Técnico y Licenciatura en Turismo ofrecidas por el Centro Universitario de Santa Rosa (CUNSARO), se aplicó el método mixto (cuantitativo-cualitativo) la muestra se tomó de los profesionales egresados (graduados durante el período 2012-2018) y su vinculación a la industria turística local. Los principales resultados de la investigación demuestran la debilidad que supone que los egresados de ambas carreras no tengan una formación previa en el área turística, lo cual condiciona obtener una mejor preparación académica a nivel superior. Dicha situación repercute en que una vez graduados no se inserten con facilidad al mercado laboral turístico, lo que refleja números negativos en las estadísticas de efectividad terminal de la carrera. El estudio concluye en la necesidad de mejorar los filtros de accesibilidad a las carreras que incluyan diplomados o cursos propedéuticos previos, además, propone una reestructuración del pensum de estudios, especialmente, la actualización en la fase del Ejercicio Profesional Supervisado, el cual debe ser vinculante a toda la formación académica en su conjunto, y brinde al estudiante una preparación como talento humano competente que le permita insertarse en el mercado turístico mundial.

En la ciudad de Salinas, provincia de Santa Elena, la actividad de la pesca artesanal es una actividad ancestral que mueve la economía local y de la cual dependen aproximadamente 7.000 familias. En la actualidad, las TIC’s han llegado a todos los sectores de la sociedad, ya sea por sus prestaciones y por su sencillez de uso. Los pescadores artesanales utilizan para su faena diaria equipos de comunicación y geoposición como: GPS, Radios de Onda Corta y celulares como herramientas de ayuda para su trabajo. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de utilización de los equipos de comunicación y ubicación, y su influencia sobre el ingreso económico de los pescadores artesanales de la parroquia Santa Rosa del cantón Salinas, provincia de Santa Elena, Ecuador (2017). In the city of Salinas province of Santa Elena, the activity of the artisanal fishing is an ancestral activity that moves the local economy and of which 7.000 families depend. Abstract:

O objetivou foi identificar quais fatores do construto que apresentam mais informações sobre a sustentabilidade dos municípios de Santa Catarina. Procurou-se mensurar aspectos relacionados ao desempenho sustentável identificando um conjunto de fatores dentro de um contexto geográfico utilizando as dimensões (1) Social e Demográfica, (2) Ambiental, (3) Pressão sobre os Recursos Hídricos e (4) Econômica. A pesquisa é descritiva e documental a partir dos relatórios de sustentabilidade publicados pelas prefeituras, IBGE e nas informações do Tribunal de Contas do Estado de Santa Catarina. Utilizando análise quantitativa e por meio da análise fatorial. Assim, identificaram-se 5 fatores: fator 1 – Aspectos relacionados às receitas intergovernamentais, que correspondem a 42,58% da variância, 54,50% da variância total (78,13%); fator 2 – Desenvolvimento humano (10,19% da variância). Os demais (fator 3: aspectos relacionados à dimensão ambiental; fator 4: aspectos relacionados ao saneamento básico; e fator 5: aspectos relacionados à saúde) estão relacionados à dimensão ambiental, ao saneamento básico e à saúde. O estudo indica que os aspectos relacionados à saúde estão diretamente relacionados aos de saneamento básico. Conclui-se que o processo de sustentabilidade local é uma construção política, a qual exige a transformação dos modelos de gestão local, dos comportamentos da sociedade e dos gestores públicos.

Abstract:

A finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, la ciudad de México experimentó grandes cambios, tales como la expansión de la mancha urbana — con la creación de colonias como Santa María la Ribera—, y el rápido desarrollo industrial, que además de requerir espacios, modificó la dinámica social y el paisaje urbano. El siguiente artículo analiza estos procesos a nivel local, al estudiar la industria en la colonia que nos ocupa, entre 1900 y 1930. A través del estudio de tres casos representativos se exponen las características de las fábricas que se establecieron en este barrio en el periodo estudiado y las dificultades que tuvieron al estar inmersas dentro de un contexto residencial.

Abstract:

Este estudo teve como objetivo levantar e descrever a avifauna do campus da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) no município de Joinville, litoralnorte do estado de Santa Catarina, sul do Brasil. Foram realizadas cinco campanhas de campo, entre os anos 2010 e 2011, abrangendo todas as estações do ano e totalizando 23 dias de amostragem. A metodologia aplicada foi a busca direta por espécies (ad libitum), percorrendo quatro ambientes diferentes presentes na área de estudo. Foram registradas 174 espécies de aves, sendo 43 endêmicas do bioma da mata atlântica, seis ameaçadas de extinção e cinco quase ameaçadas (near threatened). Cada um dos ambientes presentes na área de estudo apresentou uma composição de espécies em particular. A elevada riqueza de espécies encontrada na pequena área do campus (120 ha) pode estar associada à alta diversidade regional e também à heterogeneidade ambiental do local. Destaca-se a importância da preservação de fragmentos florestais na porção nordeste do estado de Santa Catarina, em virtude da presença de espécies ameaçadas de extinção e endêmicas da mata atlântica detectadas nos remanescentes florestais na área de estudo.

Abstract:

Amostras do lenho de Araucaria angustifolia coletadas em Painel, no estado de Santa Catarina, foram analisadas em comparação com séries climatológicas locais, a fim de se conhecer a influência do clima no crescimento das árvores. Foram utilizadas séries de precipitação, temperatura e da evapotranspiração. O estudo aponta que as variáveis climatológicas influenciam no crescimento das árvores, porém atuam em conjunto, deixando claro que não são os valores extremos dessas variáveis que influenciam, mas sim o balanço entre elas que deixa o solo em condições favoráveis para o desenvolvimento dos vegetais. Na análise sazonal, ficou claro que o excesso de chuva pode ser prejudicial, porém, se atrelada a temperaturas mais elevadas, pode representar um auxílio no crescimento. A evapotranspiração local segue a tendência da temperatura e nos regimes sazonais mostrou que a influência conjunta da precipitação e da temperatura define seu grau de influência no crescimento das plantas. Não se descarta a hipótese de que uma cronologia mais robusta e com maior alcance temporal poderia elencar mais características do local. Mesmo assim, os resultados apontam que as plantas desse sítio são sensíveis ao clima local e podem ser utilizadas como registros naturais.

No bojo do processo de democratização institucional, a Constituição Federal de 1988 ensejou um esforço de correção do caráter assimétrico do federalismo brasileiro. Além de atribuir aos municípios o pioneiro estatuto de ente federativo, dotado de autonomia e de personalidade jurídica, caracterizou-se por expressivo aumento das receitas transferidas para as esferas subnacionais de governo. Tal inflexão, porém, revelou-se demasiado precária, datada, ocorrendo um movimento de recentralização no período ulterior, sob a batuta do Executivo federal. Com base em pesquisa comparativa de dois municípios paulistas – Piracicaba e Santa Bárbara d’Oeste –, demonstra-se que este revés não foi suficiente para anular as mudanças processadas nas relações intergovernamentais, cuja característica distintiva é o progressivo aumento de prerrogativas dos municípios, não apenas em sua dimensão tributária, mas também na acepção republicana de assegurar direitos aos cidadãos

Abstract:

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as memórias e identidades regionais construídas nas práticas de devoção à italiana Margherita Lotti, ou Santa Rita de Cássia, na cidade mineira de Viçosa. Em geral, nos dias próximos a 22 de maio, a população dessa cidade se reúne em festas, sempre marcadas por missas celebradas por vários padres, músicas, danças, procissões cheias de alegorias e fogos de artifício. Os cortejos a Santa tomam as ruas da cidade, sempre sendo acompanhados pelo clero secular e religioso, autoridades civis e políticas, corais e orquestras e por pessoas das mais diversas condições financeiras. Esse ritual se repete por vários anos e constitui-se como local importante para pensarmos às relações sociais sob uma dupla modulação, a de agregação, ou seja, de estar junto, e a da memória coletiva, de criar fabulas, desejos e sentimentos de identidade. Assim sendo, essa é um momento de construção de um sentimento de pertencimento a cultura local, na qual os grupos religiosos e laicos que planejam a realização da mesma visam construir uma “imagem áudio-visual-viçosense”, vinculando Santa Rita de Cássia à cultura popular regional. Feast of Devotion the Santa Rita of Cássia in Viçosa The purpose of this article is to analyze the memories and regional identities built in the practices of devotion to Santa Rita de Cássia, in the city of Viçosa. In general, in the days leading up to May 22, the population of this city meets at parties. This ritual is repeated for several years and is an important place to think about social relations under a double modulation, that of aggregation, that is, of being together, and that of the collective memory, of creating fables, desires and feelings of identity . Thus, this is a moment of construction of a sense of belonging to a local culture, in which the religious and lay groups that plan the realization of the same aim to build an "audio-visual-viçosense" image, linking Santa Rita de Cássia to culture popular regional.
