In Brazil, Rubiaceae is the fourth family with greater diversity of species and is represented by 125 genera and 1392 species, mostly distributed in the Amazon and Atlantic forests. Due to the heterogeneity of habitat and vegetation types, Bahia stands out for the richness of species in the family (ca. 368 spp.) and by the record of many endemic species. Among the areas that are recognized by the lack of floristic inventories in the state, there is the southwest region, more precisely the areas that comprise the Espinha?o Septentrional. Thus, the aim of this study was to conduct a floristic and taxonomic survey of Rubiaceae to the Serra Geral of Lic?nio de Almeida (SGLA), Bahia. Ten field trips were conducted between July 2012 and May 2015, covering all existing vegetation types in the area. The collected materials were processed and deposited in the HUEFS and ALCB herbaria. Reference materials were also analyzed in visits to herbaria ALCB, CEPEC, HRB, HUEFS, RB and SPF. A number of 43 species distributed in 28 genera were recognized and collected, being Declieuxia (5 spp.), Borreria (3 spp.), Cordiera (3 spp.) and Psychotria (3 spp.) the most diverse genera. Following the previous floristic studies in Espinha?o Range, there are large number of genera (19) with only a single species. Psyllocarpus asparagoides, Psyllocarpus laricoides and Stachyarrhena reflexa are endemic to Minas Gerais and Bahia; Declieuxia passerina and Galianthe peruviana are new records for Bahia, and two species are considered new for science (Randia sp. and Staelia sp.). Keys to generic and specific identification, descriptions, taxonomic and biologic comments for all species are presented, as well as photos and illustrations.

Devido ? heterogeneidade de habitats e fitofisionomias, a Bahia destaca-se pela riqueza de esp?cies para a fam?lia (ca. 368 spp.) e pelo registro de muitas esp?cies end?micas. Dentre as ?reas que s?o reconhecidas pela car?ncia de invent?rios flor?sticos no estado, destaca-se a regi?o sudoeste, mais precisamente as ?reas que compreendem o Espinha?o Setentrional. Desta forma, o objetivo deste estudo foi realizar o levantamento flor?stico e taxon?mico de Rubiaceae para a Serra Geral de Lic?nio de Almeida (SGLA), Bahia. Foram realizadas dez viagens de coleta entre julho de 2012 e maio de 2015, abrangendo todas as fitofisionomias existentes na ?rea. Os materiais coletados foram processados e depositados nos Herb?rios HUEFS e ALCB. Materiais de refer?ncia foram tamb?m analisados em visita aos herb?rios ALCB, CEPEC, HRB, HUEFS, RB, SPF. Foram reconhecidas e coletadas 43 esp?cies, distribu?das em 28 g?neros, sendo Declieuxia (5 spp.), Borreria (3 spp.), Cordiera (3 spp.) e Psychotria (3 spp.) os g?neros mais diversos e, seguindo os estudos flor?sticos pr?vios na Cadeia do Espinha?o, houve um grande n?mero de g?neros (19) com apenas uma ?nica esp?cie. Neste trabalho, determinamos as propriedades dinâmicas das reações D+Li2→LiD+Li e T+Li2→LiT+Li com o objetivo de verificar os efeitos isotópicos na promoção da reatividade da reação H+Li2 →LiH+Li. Para tanto, calculamos as seções de choque reativas, distribuições vibracionais, rotacionais, translacionais e angulares do produto. Todo este estudo foi realizado via método quase clássico das trajetórias a partir de uma nova e acurada superfície de energia potencial construída para o sistema H+Li2→LiH+Li. Através deste estudo,verificamos um aumento significativo nos valores das seções de choque reativas da reação H+Li2 quando o núcleo de Hidrogênio é substituído pelos seus isótopos Deutério e Trítio. _______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
In this work, we determined the dynamical properties of D+Li2 → LiD+Li and T+ Li2→LiT+Li reactions with the objective to verify the isotopic effects in the reactive promotion of the H+ Li2 →LiH+Li reaction. In order to do so, we calculated the reactive cross sections, vibrational, rotational, translational and angular distributions of the product. All this study was performed using the quasi classical trajectory method based on a new accurate potential energy surface built to the H+ Li2 →LiH+Li reaction. From this study, we noted a significant increase of the H+Li2 reactive cross section when the hydrogen nucleus is replaced by its isotopes deuterium and tritium.

There are two algebras associated to a reductive Lie algebra g: the De Concini- Kac quantum algebra and the Kac-Moody Lie algebra. Recent results show that the principle block of De Concini -Kac quantum algebra at an odd root of unity with (some) fixed central character is equivalent to the core of a certain t-structure on the derived category of coherent sheaves on certain Springer Fiber. Meanwhile, a certain category of representation of Kac-Moody Lie algebra at critical level with (some) fixed central character is also equivalent to a core of certain t-structure on the same triangulated category. Based on several geometric results developed by Bezurkvanikov et al. these two abelian categories turn out to be equivalent. i.e. the two t-structures coincide.

Serra Geral de Lic?nio de Almeida (SGLA) is located in the central portion of the Espinha?o range, a region with no floristic studies. This paper presents the inventory of Asteraceae for the SGLA. Samples were collected in six bimonthly field trips (2011-2012) and the collected materials are inserted at HUEFS Herbarium. The results are presented in the checklist of the species, keys to tribes and species, followed by comments, aspects of reproductive phenology and geographical distribution of each species. Eighty-three species and 38 genera were found, represented in 12 tribes of Asteraceae. Of these, 13 are new records for Bahia state (Aldama oblongifolia, Aldama bracteata, Aspilia eglerii, Aspilia floribunda, Dasyphyllum vagans, Eremanthus polycephalus, Gochnatia discolor, Lychnophora ramosissima, Lepidaploa barbata, Lessingianthus laevigatus, Lessingianthus psilophyllus, Mikania obtusata e Proteopsis argentea) and two are new species to science (Lychnophora sp. 1 and Anteremanthus sp. nov.). The most representative tribe was Vernonieae (36 spp.), followed by Eupatorieae (17 spp.) and Heliantheae (8 spp.). The genera with the largest number of species were Lessingianthus (eight spp.), followed by Lepidaploa, Vernonanthura and Gochnatia, with five species each. A map of the study area with the respective collection sites and unpublished illustrations of Agrianthus myrtoides, Aspilia floribunda, Anteremanthus sp. nov., Chresta harleyi, Gochnatia densicephala, Lychnophora sp. 1 and Stomatanthes polycephalus are included as part of the results.

Neste trabalho ? apresentado um levantamento flor?stico da flora de Asteraceae para a SGLA. O envelhecimento ? um processo multidimensional que envolve entre outros os aspectos f?sico-biol?gicos, sociais, econ?micos e psicol?gicos. Ao avaliar essa fase da vida dentro de uma vis?o social e cultural, percebe-se que ser idoso ou n?o varia com as concep??es culturais, sendo necess?rio investigar as varia??es que atuam no processo e rege o fen?meno sociocultural da realidade em que se est? inserido. Com o aumento da popula??o idosa mundial, esse processo tende a se intensificar. Estima-se que at? em 2050 existam cerca de dois bilh?es de pessoas com mais de 60 anos no mundo, e a maioria delas vivendo em pa?ses em desenvolvimento. No Brasil, acredita-se que existam, atualmente, cerca de 20 milh?es de idosos. A normatiza??o e legisla??o brasileira de amparo ao idoso em rela??o ? sa?de iniciaram-se a partir da Constitui??o Federal de 1988 e da Lei 8080 que regulamenta o Sistema ?nico de Sa?de em 1990, em seus n?veis de complexidade: aten??o b?sica, m?dia e alta complexidade. Para auxiliar nessa presta??o dos servi?os na aten??o b?sica de sa?de ? importante observar as condi??es sociais, culturais, econ?micas e de sa?de dos idosos e seus familiares. Nesse sentido, a visita ao domic?lio e a avalia??o deste idoso em seu ambiente dom?stico torna-se fundamental para acompanhar o cuidar prestado e o quanto esse processo ir? interferir no sistema de sa?de, na fam?lia e na qualidade de vida dos idosos. Neste contexto, o enfermeiro como integrante da Equipe de Sa?de da Fam?lia, presta assist?ncia ? sa?de do idoso no domic?lio. Nesse sentido, o objetivo do estudo ? analisar o cuidado de enfermagem e da fam?lia ? pessoa idosa no domic?lio com vistas ? identifica??o das influ?ncias socioculturais. Trata-se de um estudo do tipo descritivo e de abordagem qualitativa, norteados por princ?pios te?rico-metodol?gicos da etnografia com vistas ao estudo da influ?ncia dos aspectos culturais e sociais na assist?ncia da fam?lia e do enfermeiro ? idosos em domic?lio. Foi realizado no munic?pio de Santana do Matos, RN, tendo como participantes, idosos, familiares e enfermeiros da equipe da ESF, definidos a partir da popula??o do munic?pio e obtendo-se uma amostra intencional de 25 participantes: 6 enfermeiras, 10 idosos e 9 grupos familiares. Para a coleta de informa??es, utilizou-se observa??o, entrevista, di?rio de campo e grupo focal. Os resultados foram apresentados em forma de narrativa descritiva, na perspectiva dos conceitos de Boris Cyrulnik, com an?lise interpretativa cultural de Geertz, na busca dos significados e s?mbolos pr?prios da cultura da velhice de idosos e dos seus familiares, sobre cuidados que s?o realizados, tanto pela fam?lia, como pelos enfermeiros em domic?lio. Observou-se que a fam?lia e o cuidador, dentro de sua realidade social e cultural, precisam ser mais compreendidos pela equipe de sa?de para ser melhor orientados e capacitados na realiza??o do cuidar de forma adequada. Por sua vez, os profissionais de sa?de, em especial o enfermeiro, enfrentam dificuldades para realizar o cuidado ao idoso no domic?lio como a grande demanda de atribui??es na unidade de sa?de como consultas e atendimentos; falta de transporte at? os domic?lios; extens?o territorial do munic?pio e das ?reas assistidas; n?mero de pessoas atendidas por cada equipe; falta de compreens?o dos profissionais de sa?de quanto ? import?ncia da visita domicili?ria na aten??o b?sica. Esta dissertação objetiva compreender as condições socioeconômicas em que se dão e as implicações das transformações do direito brasileiro no que se refere à adoção de procedimentos comuns à tradição estrangeira da common law. Disso, se obteve que, em um cenário econômico neoliberal de direito flexível, a análise do discurso politizador e moralizante do judiciário coloca à luz uma série de problemas decorrentes de um novo paradigma interpretativo do Direito. Se para o positivismo jurídico a norma é o limite, para o neoconstitucionalismo o limite está no senso moral do julgador. Nesse estado de crescente indeterminação, adotam-se no Brasil instrumentos estrangeiros como os ?precedentes?; além disso, instituições internacionais como o Banco Mundial lançam diretrizes por meio de relatórios como o Doing Business que indicam que, em termos de eficiência, o sistema de common law é superior ao de civil law. Isso, claro, ao mesmo tempo em que vigora, em países como os Estados Unidos, uma teoria herdeira do Realismo Jurídico, a Law and Economics, que defende a união entre direito e economia em um nível nunca visto antes. A liberdade interpretativa permitida por esse conjunto de fatores rompe a ideia da necessidade de um direito rígido, o que será analisado, em termos de implicações, em seu contexto socioeconômico, qual seja o do neoliberalismo.

Abstract : This dissertation aims to understand the socioeconomic conditions in which occur and the implications of the transformations of Brazilian law regarding the adoption of procedures common to the foreign common law tradition. From this, it was obtained that in a neoliberal economic scenario of flexible law, the analysis of the politicizing and moralizing discourse of the judiciary brings to light a series of problems arising from a new interpretative paradigm of Law. If, for legal positivism, the norm is the limit, for neoconstitutionalism the limit lies in the moral sense of the judge. In this state of growing indeterminacy, foreign instruments are adopted in Brazil as the "precedents"; in addition, international institutions such as the World Bank have issued guidelines through reports such as Doing Business which indicate that the common law system is superior to civil law in terms of efficiency. Traditionally, public international law and private international law were perceived as two different categories of law; the former governing the international relations between states and the latter those between private individuals. Their relation is based upon an evolutionary development from private to public, and from municipal to international, law. In the modern world, this evolution has culminated in a dynamism reflected in numerous interactions between a wide range of different actors. As a result, the former boundaries between the public and private law, as well as the international and municipal law dichotomy, have become blurred. In an emerging global society, these four major categories have entered a dynamic dialogue that equally challenges both legal theory and practice. This dialogue is centred around a functioning global legal framework, in which public international law and private international law can---due to their distinct scopes of application---answer many unanswered questions, providing that they speak with one voice.

No processo de libertação da mulher questiona-se o potencial emancipador do direito. A crença das feministas liberais na assimilação da mulher pelo direito deu lugar ao desencanto das feministas culturais na igualdade formal e à afirmação da diferença. Com as feministas radicais desenhou-se a crítica ao direito como status quo, que as feministas pós-modernas levaram mais adiante afirmando que o direito é causa e produto da desigualdade e a necessidade de um novo paradigma no direito. Os métodos jurídicos feministas questionam os métodos jurídicos tradicionais herdados da concepção moderna de Estado liberal, e apresentam uma nova perspectiva do direito, capaz de identificar os pontos em que a sua aplicação reforça as assimetrias de poder e de as corrigir. O estudo do crime de violação e do assédio sexual demonstra as diferentes perspectivas que o direito pode assumir na resolução dos problemas que se colocam às mulheres, e como por vezes se dá a absorção das reformas legais e a sua transformação pela ideologia patriarcal.
In women s liberation process, law is questioned in its emancipating potential. Liberal feminism belief in law assimilationism gave rise to cultural feminists disenchantment in formal equality and to difference affirmation. Radical feminists draw critics to law as a status quo, critics post-modern feminists took further stating law as inequality cause and product, and also the need for a new paradigm in law. Feminist juridical methods question the traditional methods inherited form liberal State modern conception, and present a new perspective in law, able to identify and correct law where its application reinforces power asymmetries. Violation and sexual harassment study aims to demonstrate how law can assume different perspectives in solving women s problems and how, sometimes, legal reforms are absorbed and transformed by patriarchal ideology.

NilsonGroup presenterade uppdraget att undersöka vattenbaserade lim som alternativ till lösningsbaserade lim vid tillverkning av skor, vilket var grunden till det här arbetets ämne och avgränsningar har tagits fram. Vattenbaserade lim är ett alternativ till lösningsbaserade lim som inte är lika hälsofarligt, då lösningsmedelkan orsaka allvarliga hälsoeffekter. Enligt NilsonGroup ligger skobranschen steget efter vad det gäller hållbarhet och i nuläget saknas det en satsning på hållbarutveckling, medan andra branscher är bättre på att leta efter nya möjligheter. Det här arbetet vill lyfta fram på vilka sätt vattenbaserade lim är ett mindre riskfylltalternativ till lösningsbaserade lim och visa att skillnaderna i limfogens egenskaper inte blir så olika. Första delen av resultatet innefattar en definition av lim och limning. Fokus ligger på att reda ut vad som krävs och hur en limfog skapas med ett lim mellan två ytor, för att läsaren ska få en grundlig kunskap om det innan arbetet går in på lim i skor. Det presenteras även vilka egenskaper som är viktiga för en limfog och vilka faktorer det är som vanligtvis vägs in vid val av lim. Andra delen handlar om material, lim och limfogar i skoindustrin. Resultatet visar att det är den övre delen av skon och sulan som är den mest kritiska limfogen att skapa vid tillverkningen av en sko, samt att de mest förekommande lim som används vid skotillverkning är av polymererna polyuretan och polykloropren. De material till den övre delen av skon som främst används av NilsonGroup och generellt hela skoindustrin, är syntetiskt skinn, läder och bomull. Till en skos sula används gummi och polyuretan i störst utsträckning. Resultatet kommer fram till fem olika kombinationer av material och vattenbaserade lim som har bra potential att kunna bilda en hållbar limfog. Resultatet visar även att de egenskaper som vattenbaserade och lösningsbaserade polykloropren- och polyuretanlim ger en limfog är lika, så när det kommer till att välja mellan vattenbaserade lim och lösningsbaserade lim, så är det komponenterna i limmen och riskerna de medför som innefattar den stora skillnaden. I bilaga 1presenteras alla de mest förekommande komponenter som polyuretan- och polykloroprenlim består av, samt vilka hälsoeffekter de kan orsaka vid exponering för ämnet.
NilsonGroup presented the assignment to investigate water-borne adhesives as an alternative to solvent-borne adhesives in shoe production. This represent the purpose of this work and the limitations that have been developed. Water-borne adhesives do not pose as serious health risks as solvent-borne adhesives, mainly because of the solvent that may cause serious health risks. According to NilsonGroup, the shoe industry is a step behind in terms of sustainability and there is no investment in sustainable development. While other industries are stepping forward in terms of sustainability. The purpose of this work is to highlight waterborne adhesives as a less critical alternative to solvent-borne adhesives. And to prove that the characteristics between the two choices are not so different. The first part of this work explains adhesives and adhesive bonding. The part explains the requirements and how an adhesive joint is created from an adhesive between two different surfaces. This is necessary to get the reader to understand the basics about adhesive bonding before the work focus on adhesives in shoes. Important properties related to the adhesive joint and the common factors when choosing adhesives is also a part of this work. Second part of this work deals with material, adhesives and adhesive joints in the shoe industry. The upper part of the shoe and sole bonding process is the most critical joint in the shoe and the most common adhesives in the shoe industry is made of polyurethane and polychloroprene polymers. Some common materials used in the upper part of shoes made by NilsonGroup, and the shoe industry overall, are synthetic leather, leather and cotton. The sole is usually made of rubber or polyurethane. The result presents five different combinations of material and waterborne adhesives that may have the potential to produce a durable joint. The result shows that the properties related to waterborne and solvent-borne adhesives are equivalent. When choosing type of adhesive, the components in the adhesives and the health risk they cause, makes up the big difference. Appendix 1 presents common components in polyurethane and polychloroprene adhesives along with health risks that they may cause when exposed.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att analysera det generella och det differentierade strandskyddet, med fokus främst på möjligheter till dispens i områden för landsbygdsutveckling i strandnära lägen. Efter en omfattande lagändring 2009 har både en uttömmande lista med skäl för beviljande av dispens införts samt en möjlighet för kommunen att peka ut områden för landsbygdsutveckling i strandnära lägen. Inom dessa områden får kommunen som särskilt skäl vid prövning om dispens beakta om uppförandet av en byggnad eller annan åtgärd bidrar till en utveckling av landsbygden. Avsikten med införandet av denna lagreglering är att hänsyn ska kunna tas till lokala förhållanden och förutsättningar. Genom en analys av lagstiftning, propositioner, praxis och doktrin har det konstaterats att om strandskyddsbestämmelserna följs bör det differentierade strandskyddet bidra till en positiv utveckling av landsbygden, utan att strandskyddets syften åsidosätts i allt för hög grad. Hur bestämmelserna däremot efterlevs i praktiken och om strandskyddet fortfarande begränsar landsbygdsutvecklingen återstår att se när det kommit fler prejudicerande domar.

Abstract:

This thesis addresses the theoretical and legal foundations for choice of corporate law in the European Union. In particular, it evaluates the contractarian approach to choice of law, which has become the dominant paradigm. When contractual principle is viewed in its fullest form, it is found that corporate choice of law could be restricted for similar reasons to those which justify limitations to party autonomy in contractual choice of law. What is more, economic arguments for party autonomy should be refined in view of the fact that corporate legal theory is unsettled. Indeed, different views about the economic nature of companies are accounted for in State practice. Having rejected dogmatic approaches to the private international law of companies, it is then found that the EU Treaties contain contradictory signals about the place of party autonomy in choice of corporate law. The lack of clarity in the Treaties and lack of legislative progress has necessitated recourse to the European Court of Justice. The Court has, generally, adopted an interpretation of the Treaty which furthered economic integration. However, the judgments reveal numerous inconsistencies, and the law is in a constant state of flux. Added to the fact that the EU’s legislation is less permissive than the Court’s judgments, the law lacks clarity. Legislation is therefore needed. It is suggested that future legislation should entrench a degree of autonomy, but should also account for the fact that States differ on the goals of companies. While the law of the State of incorporation should govern all matters relating to the company’s internal law, European law should bind the Member State in which a company is established to require pseudo-foreign companies to incorporate norms of the State of its real seat in their statutes. This could be supported through the use of information technology solutions which have been pioneered in other fora.

Intuitively, Lie groups are groups that are also smooth. The aim of this thesis is to describe how Lie groups are defined as smooth manifolds, and to look into their properties. To each Lie group there exists an associated vector space, which is called the Lie algebra of the Lie group. We will investigate what properties of a Lie group can be derived from its Lie algebra. As an application, we will characterise all unitary irreducible finite dimensional representations of the Lie group SO(3).

In the modern world, electronic communications play a significant role in national and international electronic transactions. This issue has forced all legal systems to face up to many emerging legal problems in the context of electronic communications, such as the time and the place of formation of electronic contracts, the validation of e-contracts made by the interaction with e-agents, the legal validity of electronic documents and signatures, consumer protection in contracting electronically in particular in cross-border e-transactions, and the Internet jurisdiction and choice of law. One issue to determine is the place of formation of contracts when contracting electronically, either through email, websites or chat-rooms to see how the notion of 'place' is perceivable in cyberspace; and the way of application of the four traditional theories of information, dispatch, receipt and awareness relating to the time and place of conclusion of contracts in contracting by electronic means should be examined. Regarding the legal validity of e-contracts made through interactive websites, the legal status of electronic agents which play an important role in this process is questionable to see whether they are akin to real agents in the physical world or they are only a mere tool of communication. The responsible person for any mistakes that an electronic agent makes and causes losses or damages to the contracting parties should also be examined. There are also questions regarding meeting the formalities in the formation of some specific contracts in contracting electronically to see whether the electronic documents and signatures legally valid and admissible at the courts of law or not. Their legal weight should also be measured. Moving on the jurisdiction and choice of law issue, some argumentative questions raise. For instance, where the rule of private international law provides that the competent court is the court within which jurisdiction the contract is performed, it is necessary to see that where the place of performance of the contract in which the subject matter is digital goods such as e-books or computer software delivered online is. This is also an important question in providing electronic services such as e-teaching. Regarding the choice of law issue the same questions of jurisdiction are posed. Furthermore, as consumer protection issue in B2C contracts is important in developing electronic commerce worldwide, it should be considered that whether the consumer party is able to bring an action against the business party in his own place of domicile or habitual residence or not. These are only a sample of questions that the current research tries to analyse based on the traditional legal rules and principles and the statues on electronic commerce. Discussing the above legal doubts in the context of Iranian law shows that there are a number of legal uncertainties in the Iranian legal system hindering, or at least putting in doubt, the development of electronic commerce in both national and cross-border electronic transactions. Despite the fact that some of them have been addressed by the Iranian Electronic Commerce Act 2004 indirectly, however a detailed legal work is still definitely needed to elaborate the questions and provide solutions developing and modernizing Iranian law in the context of electronic contracts. The author in the current research tries to analyse the questions by a horizontal comparative study of the UNCITRAL Model Laws, the Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts 2005, the EU law, English law, American law and Iranian law. Also, a four-stage roadmap that acts as the guiding principle of this research is employed to develop the Iranian legal system in the context of e-commerce. The first stage focuses on whether the exact application of Iranian traditional law can address the emerging legal doubts; the second stage expands and develops traditional rules; the third introduces legal presumptions; and the fourth theorizes new rules. The research concludes that the Iranian legal system may be modernized and developed in the context of electronic contracts by adopting the legal policy and solutions of other legal systems by both scholarly legal doctrines and legislation.

A travers l'étude du diptyque The Woman Warrior : Memoirs of a Girlhood among Ghosts / China Men de Maxine Hong Kingston ainsi que du récit mémorial Among the White Moon Faces : An Asian-American Memoir of Homelands de Shirley Geok-lin Lim nous mettons en évidence des conceptualisations identitaires qui témoignent d'une certaine idée de filiation créatrice définie à la lumière de l'antériorité et de l'altérité, au croisement de genres pluriels et de formes discursives multiples. Une première partie sera ainsi consacrée à une considération des dimensions discursives et interdiscursives des textes sino-américains dans une perspective diachronique. Dans les deux parties suivantes nous chercherons à dégager les lignes de force de fonctionnements textuels qui relèvent d'un dialogisme critique à plusieurs égards, le texte du soi s'écrivant en contre-page d'intertextes familiaux, historiques, mais aussi littéraires. This thesis examines certain contemporary inflections among Asian American self-referential writings. The study of the diptych The Woman Warrior : Memoirs of a Girlhood Ghosts / China Men by Maxine Hong Kingston as well as of Among the White Moon Faces : An Asian-American Memoir of Homelands by Shirley Geok-lin Lim will lead us to delineate conceptualizations of identity that testify to a specific idea of creative filiation, defined in the light of anteriority and otherness, at the intersection of generic plurality and a multiplicity of discursive forms. The first part will thus undertake an assessment of specific discursive and interdiscursive dimensions of Chinese-American texts in a diachronic perspective. In the next two sections we shall seek to identify the lines of force in the functioning of texts that assert a critical dialogism in several respects, the text of the self being written in counter-page to family, history as well as literature as intertexts. This will allow to conclude, in both cases, on an emancipatory evolution : from a mere actor - whose voice is lost in and/or when facing the polyphony of surrounding discourses or when confronted to silences, absences and losses - to auctor, the Chinese American woman writer appropriates an established genre ("nonfiction"), but expands its possibilities by showing a creative and critical intelligence that refuses to subscribe to generic principles and disturbs - as well as reconfigures - interpretative frameworks

The aim of this thesis is constructional concept of diaphragm press for thermoplastic forming. The press consists of two chambers. First chamber is designed for forming of semi-finished product to forming temperature and second chamber is designed for heating the semi-finished product. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on technologies in use and shaping of plastic description. Practical part of this thesis deals with detailed description of press concept including consistence calculations and drive units calculations. The whole concept, including its individual parts, is designed using the Autodesk Inventor software. At the end of this thesis, there is the economic and safety analysis.
