Abstract:
Three societal lines of conflict, “casteism”, communalism, and regionalism, are regarded as severe challenges in present-day India. This article discusses and compares differences between presentations of these lines of conflict in six textbook series for social sciences prepared by the Indian states of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, and by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in New Delhi. The variations in perspective, scope, and approach are related to changing educational approaches and to specific discourses of identity politics, which may be explained in terms of the impact of different positions adopted by states and the union towards the issues, and in terms of the discursive dominance of specific sociopolitical viewpoints.

Abstract:
The religious life takes new challenges lately, new narration of religious issue continues to grow due to the reformation 1998, political polarization, and the emergence of new media. In this space, religious social harmony is no longer the main discourse, but rather the ideological discourse that causes strengthening religious polarization. In that context, Emha Ainun Nadjib remains consistent with the struggle for building social harmony in society. His consistency has social significance caused by his adaptive thought through three things: a framework sufism (transcendental structuralism), based on living values in the form of religious understanding based on social life, and historis-anthropocentric framework. These three circular movements build the theology of Emha Ainun Nadjib's social harmony. Keyword; teologi harmoni, living values, transendensi, Historis-antroposentris

Abstract:
The background of this study begins with a reflective question about why in one family Indonesian people of different religions can live in harmony and support each other as a family. Whereas in the social context of religious relations today faces a tense situation in which people of different religions are suspicious of each other and hostile to each other. This study tries to focus on the case of Javanese families who have the foundation of the value of living in harmony in one family with different religions from an axiological perspective. Based on the interpretation approach to social phenomena that are the focus of the study. The results of this study explain that the foundation of the value of harmony of Javanese people lies in the value of harmony, which is an integral principle of value in which Javanese who wants to live a harmonious life must maintain harmony not only with others but also with the surrounding nature. Therefore, many studies have shown that Javanese life always tries to maintain ‘equilibrium’ as a manifestation of life. The axiological dimension of the living value of Javanese harmony when meeting with external values occurs tug-of-war and it is not uncommon to negate each other and contest each other. In some cases, it is proven that the value of living in harmony can support a harmonious family life, getting along well with mutual respect, affection, and mutual help among family members.

Abstract:
The concept of norms is common to biology and medicine. It represents the essence of any phenomenon. In medicine, human health is expressed through the category of norm. The basis of the construction of the norm (normology) should be based on the principle of correspondence of morphofunctional properties of the organism to the environment, and not their nature. And then indicators that reflect the stability of a living non-equilibrium system or the state of an adapted organism will characterize (normal) human health. The norm is always stable, otherwise it will not be the norm. The science of human health developed through analysis the decomposition of a complex whole into simple parts. In this case, the object disappeared as a whole, as a system with all its inherent features. The norm was derived from the fitness, balance of the body with the environment. Recently, it has become possible to consider a person as a system that is determined by the relationship of the whole and its parts (the golden ratio). In biology, the golden ratio manifests itself in many ways, from the structure of polypeptides to the human body. The study of a living organism as a system allowed us to establish the harmonic essence of its structure. The idea of the harmony of the world of systems is connected with the relations of "opposites" within the object. The "golden opposites" of healthy people are a kind of norm reference. What brings "opposites" to unity is harmony. Harmony is closely related to the golden ratio. Golden harmony is the basis of human health. Mathematical expression of harmony, symmetry a method of assessing (norm) human health. Deviations from the "golden" relations can be used in medicine as indicators (criteria) for the diagnosis of pathological disorders.

Abstract:

Harmony has become an interesting issue that is discussed in the community, considering that lately many problems have arisen due to intolerance. However, things like that can actually be anticipated, and with a good family, everyone understands the nature of religion in a plural environment. The foundations that can fortify harmony must be, namely the principle of living in harmony and the principle of living with respect. Everyone has an important role to play in maintaining harmony between religious believers. Adaptation is carried out for a common goal, and with a common goal, they mingle with each other regardless of differences, so as to prevent conflicts between religious believers, so that a social order will be realized in society. Thus, members of the community are merged into a social system of society. However, within each one there is still something that is maintained within him, namely the religious principles they adhere to and the norms that they still maintain.

We must look ahead at today's radical changes in technology, not just as forecasters but as actors charged with designing and bringing about a sustainable and acceptable world. New knowledge gives us power for change: for good or ill, for knowledge is neutral. The problems we face go well beyond technology: problems of living in harmony with nature, and most important, living in harmony with each other. Information technology, so closely tied to the properties of the human mind, can give us, if we ask the right questions, the special insights we need to advance these goals. Herbert A. Simon (2000)

This study developed a dispositional path model of life satisfaction for community dwelling Chinese elderly living in Hong Kong. A sample of 117 elderly completed scales measuring life satisfaction, optimism, self-esteem, relationship harmony, self-construals, and perceived/expected health and financial status. Modeling revealed that life satisfaction was predicted by self-esteem and relationship harmony, which in turn were predicted by independent and interdependent self-construals, respectively. In addition, optimism predicted life satisfaction directly and indirectly through self-esteem and relationship harmony. Financial status mediated entirely the effect of optimism on life satisfaction. Health status was predicted by optimism but did not predict life satisfaction. Optimism is a key contributor to subjective well being because it fosters self-esteem, relationship harmony, and positive perceptions of financial conditions.

Pakistan being multi-religious country has diverse religious communities which have been living as friends for centuries. In the recent past, few incidents of targeting the minorities were reported which labeled Pakistan as a locus of intolerance, extremism and terrorism. As matters of fact, all these troublemakers were funded by some specific international groups and prorogated illicitly by some media groups otherwise the same religious communities have been living in the same land for centuries as brothers and friends. The research is comprises a survey study about the role of Pakistani media for promotion and observing inter-faith harmony among different religious communities in Pakistan. Media has a crucial part in maintain the social pulse especially on inter-faith harmony platform. Nationally and internationally, the wave of creditability is more recognized than the quickness of media so it is pertinent to understand to regularize the media of Pakistan that they should first recheck the news and incidents through the concerned professors of the area and the government officials then break a comprehensive report to stable the creditability of their channel and paint a positive image of Pakistan all over the world. It is also found that Pakistani media is not sufficiently covering the scholars of different religions other than Islam on social life topics and on harmonic points of their religions also.

Abstract:
The emergence of novelty in the realm of the living remains, despite the long tradition of evolutionary biology, unwelcome, calling for explanation by old, established knowledge. The prevailing neodarwinian evolutionary paradigm approaches living beings as passive outcomes of external (and extraneous, hence “blind”) formative forces. Many teachings opposing Darwinism also take the existence of eternal, immutable and external laws as a necessary prerequisite. Ironically enough, authors who oppose Darwinian theory, and admit that living beings possess a “self”, often accentuate internal, ideal and eternal harmony, which is incompatible with historical changes; moreover such harmony is again imposed by external, atemporal “laws”. I describe here a third approach embodied by the names of two unrelated scholars, Stuart Kauffman (biology, physics) and Juri Lotman (semiotics, culturology). Their approach suggests that the evolution of organisms, minds, cultures — is a continuous negotiation (semiosis) of ‘laws’, driving to ever broader spaces of freedom and constantly larger autonomy of existence.

Abstract:
The issue of livelihood is crucial in building household harmony. The husband is obliged to provide for his family with ma'ruf. This can create harmony in the household that is built. The people of Kemaduh Baron Nganjuk village have various views on the relevance of husband's livelihood to household harmony. This paper is the result of field research on this matter. This analytical descriptive research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study reveal that the husband's livelihood from the perspective of the Kemaduh Baron Nganjuk village community is a gift from a husband to his wife in the form of money, to meet daily needs, which is in line with Amir Syaifuddin's opinion that the husband's income is shopping for food needs which includes basic materials such as clothing and housing. or clothing, food, and shelter. Meanwhile, their perspective on household harmony is the attitude of helping each other, pouring out their hearts (deliberations), the lack of debate in running the household with mutual understanding. This is in line with the theory of household harmony with the realization of the wishes of husband and wife, minimizing interpersonal conflicts, the realization of reciprocity between husband and wife in carrying out their respective obligations. According to the people of Kemaduh village, husband's livelihood and household harmony are interrelated because living is the husband's obligation in the household which aims to meet household needs, so not fulfilling the needs in the family can make the family less harmonious. Even so, there are different opinions from the people of Kemaduh village which state that the husband's inadequacy of living does not cause fights and the family remains harmonious.

Abstract:
Title: Current Architecture: Between Living with Nature and Living Within Nature Architecture is the answer to human needs on shelter, from the basic structure copying the structure concept in nature to more complex buildings that can be in harmony or in contrast with the surroundings. Nature and architecture are two distinct but related things, mutually affecting their existence. The two paradigms of architecture; modern and post-modern, have their own views about them. Based on those paradigms, architect must select the position where they and their creations belong. With the case studies of architecture in Indonesia, this paper aims at exploring architects’ points of view about nature and site’s coverage and demanding architects not merely to take sides with human being. Using data collection and descriptive method, this paper will provide overview of which architectural paradigm is better with more attention to the nature and the site’s coverage. Even though the architectures presented in this study are built in contemporary era, their paradigms about nature are different. Some use the paradigm of living with nature, and others use the paradigm of living within nature.

The idea of interethnic harmony is the idea of peaceful coexistence of more than 1600 ethnic groups living on the planet, based on equality, mutual respect and cooperation. The idea of interethnic harmony is considered the idea of nationalism. It requires the development of the language, customs, traditions and holidays of all nations and peoples. Nationalism is the only enlightened idea that opposes fascism, ethnic and international wars. Since ancient times in Uzbekistan, people of different nationalities and ethnic groups have lived in friendly relations. The creation of national cultural centers based on the ideas of tolerance, such as the development of a culture of tolerance and humanity, the strengthening of interethnic and interfaith harmony, civil harmony in society, equal rights and opportunities for all citizens, regardless of nationality or religion, and its functioning is an important factor in ensuring sustainable development of the multinational state of Uzbekistan.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of architectural-spatial and historical-cultural value of traditional settlements as objects of architecture and urban planning and the potential of their possible use in the formation of the habitat of modern settlements. Particular attention is paid to the definition of urban, architectural-planning and architectural-artistic features of the spatial organization of the living environment of traditional settlements. This is a kind of vector for further development and improvement of this environment as a holistic functional and aesthetic system that improves living standards, as well as economic, social and environmental security. In the twentieth century, Western architecture tended toward globalization, and in Eastern Europe, planned industrial construction was carried out - all these measures damaged the traditional architectural environment in European countries. Architecture has become insensitive to certain regional and national features, architectural objects have become identical and faceless, cities and towns have lost their national flavor - all this has impoverished the architectural environment. Now this faceless environment oppresses residents, complicates spatial identification. Architectural and construction activities, which avoid original features, have long deprived cities and villages of attractiveness. Settlements began to look like randomly layered, independent layers. To take into account national characteristics, you need to show correctness, respect and knowledge. Moreover, all this is leveled by the pursuit of material gain. At the same time, they talk about the search for harmony, but for some reason this harmony is sought in remote abstractions, although the direct path to it lies on the surface - in national architectural features that have a whole set of aesthetic and utilitarian means for such harmony, and even those produced for local natural environment for centuries. Also for centuries, each nation has worked out the set of elements that best suits its mentality and local conditions. The problem is only in the interest of specialists, in the will and in knowledge. However, despite a number of studies in this area, systemic knowledge is still lacking, which is often the reason for the lack of desire to apply traditional features in architecture, including in the architecture of modern settlements.

This article is to examine the way of harmony that is initiated in the Analects of Confucius, and further elaborated in the other three of the Four Books. It will argue that the Confucian harmony is a philosophy defining the relation between the self and the other and among the elements of the unity, that it is a way of living and behaving that leads to modesty and flexibility, and that it is a moral process starting from the self and reaching the Middle Way. It concludes that the way of harmony is not only theoretically important for Confucian philosophy but also practically significant for Chinese culture because it later became central to the doctrinal foundation on which all philosophical schools operated.

Second, an exploration of cultural potentials in Yogyakarta for developing community transformative dialogue. Third, a proposal for developing community transformative dialogue. These are three important results of this study. Abstract:
Religious harmony is very important to maintain peace and stability in a country like Nepal where people are multi-religious. Failure to address religious harmony it could take the society into conflict. Though Nepal is a Hindu dominant secular country the Muslims are an important and inseparable part of Nepalese community. They have been living in Nepal since last 500 years with religious harmony. During this period there were negligible religious riots between Hindu and Muslims. Social acceptance and recognition given to the Nepali Muslims, they were integrated in such a way, became inseparable part of the society. But in recent years they have tried to differentiate themselves religiously challenging centuries old harmony and peace. In the process they have undergone a process of political Islamization and have emerged as a distinctive ethnic community. It has shown a danger of deadly encounter between Hindu-Muslim religion groups. This paper tries to discuss the fundamental factors contributing to religious in a multi-religious society. FGD and library research method is used in addressing the situation of religious harmony.
