Abstract:
When eccentric live loads are applied on the deck overhang of steel-box girder bridges, torsional moments, comprising pure torsional and distortional moments are generated on the box sections. The torsional moment on the bridge girders distorts the box girder cross-sections, inducing additional normal stress components and causing instability of the box girder sections in severe cases. Hence, it is essential to install intermediate diaphragms in the box sections to minimize distortional behaviors. Although the applied live loads are critical parameters that influence intermediate diaphragm spacings, the effects of live load combinations have rarely been addressed in the design of intermediate diaphragm spacings. Thus, load combinations should be evaluated to design the intermediate diaphragm spacing of the box girder bridges more thoroughly. In this study, the load combination effects on the distortional behavior and adequate intermediate diaphragm spacing were evaluated through a finite element analysis (FEA). Composite rectangular box girder bridges with different cross-sectional aspect ratios (H/B) and spans (L) were analyzed in the parametric study. It was found that the truck load, which represents the concentrated load, significantly influences the distortional warping normal stress, normal stress ratio, and intermediate diaphragm spacing. In addition, the FEA results showed that the controlling load combinations could be varied with the span.

Abstract:
Performance artist Tim Miller has been making autobiographical work for more than twenty years. Dee Heddon explores Miller's recent show, Glory Box (2001), arguing that, both in his practice and his use of his own life stories, he is attempting not only to connect with but to energize his audiences, transforming them into activist spectators. One tactic Miller employs in Glory Box is futurity – performing an autobiography that he has not yet lived. This future is one that Miller compels us collectively to rewrite, inviting us to change his potential life and life-story in the process. Dee Heddon argues that Miller's commitment to and faith in the transformative potential of live performance enacts a resistance to those pejorative terms too easily thrown at autobiographical performance: Miller may work from his ‘self’, but his work is far from solipsistic, egotistic, or narcissistic. Dee Heddon makes and teaches autobiographical performance, and her writing has appeared in Performance Research, Studies in Theatre Production, Research in Drama Education, Reconstructions, and M/C. Her Devising Performances: Histories and Practices, co-authored with Jane Milling, is forthcoming from Palgrave.

Abstract:
This article seeks to evaluate the visual style of Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly, predominantly through an analysis of the films’ aesthetics. The use of Rotoshop as an expressive means to illustrate character and theme, where identity becomes sketched and multi-faceted rather than fixed or stable is explored here. Yet this aesthetic play with borders has a greater resonance than simply a means by which to delineate thematic preoccupations with troubled identity. While such representations are indeed key to these two films, the darkly outlined contours of character borders, which move and slide incessantly, also comment on the blurred divide between live action and animation. Central to the argument is the use of the animated line in understanding these two films; the line provides impetus for exploring several issues raised by the films and the use of Rotoshop. This article explores the following key ideas: the animated line and aesthetic analysis; Rotoshop technology; the representation of fragmentary identity; and the relationship between photo-real cinema and animation, with a particular focus on narrative and spectacle. The author addresses Rotoshop within the context of technology and spectacle; taking industry practices into account allows for an appreciation of how a technological innovation such as Rotoshop can change the shape of live-action cinema.

Abstract:
This article compares specific studio takes and live performances from the super deluxe Sign o’ the Times box set to argue that the ways Prince and his band integrate multiple styles and genres into their performances participate in the creation and development of a post-civil rights era Black popular music aesthetic. In particular, I demonstrate how the intellectual and physical labour of musical performance and sonic interaction found throughout the box set expands conceptions of what Black popular music should and could sound like. This article analyses four performances. It begins by examining two versions of ‘Witness 4 the Prosecution’. In version 1, Prince utilizes a more guitar-based rock sound, while the second presents a more synth-based approach that incorporates the new sound possibilities of music technologies. Through this comparison, I demonstrate how the way Prince works through these performances represents the kind of sonic freedom and flexibility that was a hallmark of his work. I then turn to a comparison between the original release of ‘Forever in My Life’ and the live performance in Utrecht. While the original release emphasizes Prince’s vocals and the drum part, the live performance becomes a vehicle for improvisation and interaction. By analysing the distinctions between the studio and the live performance, I argue that by incorporating elements like improvisation and call and response, Prince and his band situate their approach to post-civil rights era Black popular music aesthetics within the trajectory of Black music history.

Abstract:
The transportation of live coral nubbins is a major constraint of the coral trade. Corals must be transported within a timeframe of <20 hours using concentrated oxygen to avoid high post-transportation mortality. To understand the effects of transportation water quality on coral nubbin growth and post-transportation mortality, a series of transportation simulations were performed on Seriatopora hystrix. Different water volumes (dry method, 125 ml, 190 ml, and 325 ml) and oxygen concentrations in the gas phase (21 %, 40 %, and 85 %) were tested, and a 24 LED Handy Lamp was added to provide light irradiance of >100 µmol m-2 s-1 in the transportation box. During transportation nubbins extracted calcium carbonate for growth reducing water alkalinity and consequently pH to 6.67. Dissolved oxygen concentration also rapidly decreased to 0.19 mg L-1. The concentration of inorganic nitrogen, particularly ammonium ions, increased after 24 hours and reached very high concentrations after 48 hours. Before 48 hours, the larger the water volume and oxygen concentration, the faster the nubbin growth after transportation. Beyond 48 hours, in all cases, reduction in water quality became critical for nubbins and resulted in partial mortality. Illuminating the transportation box improved water quality for 72 hours using normal air.

Abstract:
As herbivores goats are at risk of plant poisoning. Poisoning may occur if goats are accidentally fed plant cuttings or through contamination of feed, but as goats are agile and inquisitive they can escape from their enclosure and encounter poisonous plants in gardens or woodland. They may also eat plants they would normally avoid if other forage is unavailable. Poisoning with plants containing grayanotoxins (Pieris and Rhododendron species) or cyanogenic glycosides (e.g cherry laurel, Prunus laurocerasus) is very common in goats. Other plants that have caused poisoning in goats include yew (Taxus species), oak (Quercus species), hemlock (Conium maculatum), leylandii (× Hesperotropsis leylandii), box (Buxus sempervirens) and plants containing cardiac glycosides such as oleander (Nerium oleander) or pyrrolizidine alkaloids such as ragwort (Jacobaea vulgaris). Sudden death is frequently the first sign of plant toxicosis in livestock. Management of plant poisoning in goats is supportive including removal from exposure, and providing analgesia, rehydration and potentially a rumenotomy for plant exposure in valuable animals.

Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 2522, no. 1 (January 2015): 59–69. http://dx.doi.org/10.3141/2522-06.

Full text
Abstract:
The multicell box girder bridge is a popular choice of designers because of its large torsional stiffness. The skewness at the support line of bridges has a significant influence on distribution of live loads. The current American bridge design code, AASHTO load and resistance factor design (LRFD), defines several correction factor expressions to account for the skew effect in bridges. In addition, the effect of skewness on reactions of continuous multicell box girder bridges is obtained by using the skew correction factor of shear or by the shear distribution factor of straight bridges, despite a significant disparity between the shear and reaction that is observed in skewed bridges. This study investigated the effect of skewness on the reactions and shear distribution factors for three continuous multicell box girder bridges. There was a significant difference between reactions at the piers and the shear distribution factors of skewed bridges. Thus, a statistical analysis was used to propose new equations for the skew correction factors and the external girder correction factor of shear and reaction to improve the accuracy of the AASHTO LRFD specifications.

Abstract:
Box girders are now prominently used in freeway and bridge systems because of its structural efficiency, better stability, serviceability, economy of construction and pleasing aesthetics. Due to its high torsional rigidity box girders are most suited for curved bridges. In the present investigation, a comparative study of straight and curved box girder bridges with trapezoidal cross section has been carried out. The analysis is carried under the dead load, super imposed dead load, live load of IRC Class A tracked vehicle and prestressed load .This paper focus on the parametric study of box girders with different radius of curvature by keeping the span, cross sectional shape and material properties constant. The parametric investigations performed on curved box girders helps to evaluate the effects of change in radius of curvature on the behaviour of the box girders. This study would help the bridge engineers to better understand the behaviour of straight and curved box girder bridges. The results obtained from this study will be a valuable guidance to the bridge designers.

The development, by Edmonton Power, of the Genesee Generating Station has necessitated construction of a 40 000-t live coal storage structure. The live storage is a 170 m long coal slot based 17 m below grade. It comprises a concrete U box and inclined reinforced earth sidewalls. The site is underlain by soft clays, which posed special problems for design and construction. Analytical and construction methods were developed to suit the geotechnical and site constraints. A monitoring program was instituted during construction to verify the design assumptions and to confirm the overall stability. This paper reviews the decisions involved in the basic design of the structure, and methods of dealing with design and construction problems. Abstract:
Live journalism is a new journalistic genre in which journalists present news stories to a live audience. This article investigates the journalistic manuscripts of live journalism performances. With the focus on texts, the article reaches beyond the live performance to explore the wider implications and potentials pioneered by live journalists. The data were gathered from <em>Musta laatikko</em> (‘Black Box’) manuscripts, a live journalism production by the Finnish newspaper <em>Helsingin Sanomat</em>. The manuscripts were analysed as <em>eudaimonic journalism</em> through four conceptual dimensions: self-transcendence, autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The results show how eudaimonic journalism can contemplate history, the future, and the meaning of finite human life. Moreover, by describing self-determinant individuals and communal social relationships, eudaimonic news stories can foster a sense of meaning and agency in audience members. By employing eudaimonia, journalists at large can reflect on the meaning and purpose of contemporary life and offer a more comprehensive understanding of the world. Such understanding includes not only facts and analysis, but also values, affects, and collective meanings mediated through the subjectivity of a journalist.

Abstract:
Released in September, 2020, Mulan, a live-action film starring Liu Yifei, was adapted by Disney from the Ballad of Mulan[1]. The film was produced from its animated version Mulan (1998) which hit global box office amounting to 304 million with marvelous reputation. However, the live-action movie Mulan did not continue the brilliant results of the previous work. Instead, Mulan (2020) disappointed most Chinese audience[2] because historical facts and cultural values about Mulan were excessively appropriated, rewritten and alienated. Applying theories of Postcolonialism, this essay analyzes the live-action movie Mulan revealing the ethnocentric abuse of the target culture as the “other”: arbitrary appropriation, rewriting and distortion of its historical events and traditional values. Also, theories of popular culture will be used to analyze the cultural industry strategies applied in this unsuccessful film.[1]the Ballad of Mulan (Chinese: 木兰辞; pinyin: Mù lán cí), a famous folk song of the Northern Dynasty in China.[2]The investment in the live-action film Mulan is as high as US$200 million (about 1.4 billion RMB). As a result, the global box office is less than US$70 million. Also, the score in Douban is only 5.0 points. Abstract:
ABSTRACT Magnaporthe grisea is a model fungus for studying fungus-plant interactions. Two mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase genes, PMK1 and MPS1, have been implicated in regulating plant infection processes in M. grisea. However, transcription factors activated by these MAP kinases are not well studied. In this study we functionally characterized the MIG1 gene that encodes a MADS-box transcription factor homologous to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rlm1. In yeast two-hybrid assays, MIG1 interacts with MPS1, suggesting that MIG1 may function downstream from the MPS1 pathway. The mig1 deletion mutant had a normal growth rate and formed melanized appressoria, but it was nonpathogenic and failed to infect rice leaves through wounds. Appressoria formed by the mig1 mutant developed penetration pegs and primary infectious hyphae, but further differentiation of the secondary infectious hyphae inside live plant cells was blocked. However, the mig1 mutant formed infectious hypha-like structures in heat-killed plant cells or cellophane membranes. In transformants expressing the MIG1-GFP fusion, green fluorescent protein (GFP) signals were not detectable in vegetative hyphae and conidiophores. Mig1-GFP was localized to nuclei in conidia, appressoria, and infectious hyphae. Deletion of the MADS box had no effect on the expression and localization of the MIG1-GFP fusion but eliminated its ability to complement the mig1 mutant. These results suggest that MIG1 may be required for overcoming plant defense responses and the differentiation of secondary infectious hyphae in live plant cells. The MADS-box domain is essential for the function of MIG1 but dispensable for its nuclear localization, which may be associated with the activation of MIG1 by MPS1 during conidiation and plant infection.

Studies on box girders bridges that treats domains such as: its seismic response, fire resistance of the structure, effect of web inclination of the bridge, shear force distribution in webs of the bridge, loading conditions for the bridge with dead load and live load were reviewed and concluded. Our paper aims to describe different research from the dedicated literature using software such as Ansys, Midas, CSi Bridge with FEM (finite element method) and to highlight the points where the maximum stress values are found. This will help us in the future to compare these results obtained by experts with new analyzes that we want to accomplish regarding the efficacy and reliability of the box girder structure. The main motivation to study this domain is represented by the previous experience and knowledge and to detect new dangerous sections in this type of structure. By counteracting the dangerous sections, we can improve the reliability degree and efficiency of the box girder bridge structure.

AbstractIn nature, mice live in burrows with nest chambers where they breed and may hide from predators. In the laboratory, a shelter or refuge is an easily applicable form of enrichment which may enhance the welfare of laboratory mice by giving them more control over their environment. Six nest boxes made of different materials were evaluated in a preference test with male and female mice of two strains (C57BL/6J and BALB/c). In general, mice showed a preference for cages with a nest box made of grid metal as compared to clear or white perspex nest boxes, or no nest box. They also showed a preference for a cage with a nest box of perforated metal as compared to nest boxes made of grey PVC or sheet metal, or no nest box. When offered a nest box with one open side or a nest box with two open sides, most mice preferred the nest box with one open side and were observed to lie in it with their heads directed towards the opening. The results of this study show that nest boxes may be used for enrichment purposes in caged mice, although it is not yet entirely clear what are the main features influencing the animals’ preferences. When providing nest boxes as shelters, the structure and design of this type of enrichment should be taken into account, because these may have an effect on the social structure of groups of mice.

Abstract Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, enormous development has been done in computer vision systems in face masks and temperature detection. To enforce the mandate for wearing the mask in public places, the authors have suggested a solution using transfer learning (MobileNetV2) architecture as a foundation for image classification. The proposed solution is embedded devices with Raspberry Pi4 and python packages viz TensorFlow, OpenCV, and Keras. In this Work, a combination of transfer learning and IoT has been worked out using live streaming to detect an appropriate use of face masks along with body temperature. This technique includes the Single Shot Single box and Multi-box identification of the face mask. Further, a person can check the Temperature at the entrance. This temperature sensor is in noncontact mode, which senses a temperature from 2 cm to 5 cm and is displayed through LCD. It sends the data to the cloud for visualization and analysis, and an alert message is sent in a real-time environment based on that analysis.

Abstract:
The behaviour of curved box-girder bridge is quite different from the straight one as it is experienced by the additional torsional moments. The analysis and design of such box-girder bridges are quite complicated when the curve angle is varied. The effect of curve angle on the forces and deflection in the girders, inner and outer, of a simply supported single cell reinforced concrete curved box-girder bridge is investigated in this study. A Finite element based software, CSiBridge v.20, was used for the analysis. A convergence study was performed on the proposed model to select the optimum mesh size and the results obtained are validated with the published literature. The variation of absolute values of forces and deflection along both the girders, under dead load (DL) and IRC (Indian Road Congress) live load (LL), is observed and the equations are proposed for their prediction in terms of non-dimensional parameters, using the statistical approach. The present results may be helpful to the designers in the analysis and design of curved single cell reinforced concrete box-girder bridges.

Abstract:
This paper aims to describe the construction and operation of a respiration chamber of the head-box type for methane (CH4) measurements in bovines. The system consists of (1) a head box with a stainless steel frame and acrylic walls, floor, and ceiling; (2) a stainless steel feeder; (3) an automatic drinking water bowl; (4) a hood made from reinforced canvas; (5) an infrared (IR) CH4 gas analyzer, a mass flow generator, a data-acquisition system; and (6) a steel metabolic box. Six assays were conducted to determine the pure CH4 recovery rate of the whole system in order to validate it and comply with standards of chamber operation. The gravimetrical method was used for the recovery test and the recovery rate obtained was 1.04 ± 0.05. Once the system was calibrated, measurements of CH4 were conducted using eight animals consisting of four Holstein cows with a live weight of 593.8 ± 51 kg and an average milk yield of 23.3 ± 1.8 kg d−1 and four heifers with a live weight of 339 ± 28 kg. The CH4 production values were 687 ± 123 and 248 ± 40 L CH4 d−1 for cows and heifers, respectively. The CH4 yield was 19.7 ± 3.4 g and 17.1 ± 3.4 g CH4 kg−1 of dry matter consumed for cows and heifers, respectively. These results are consistent with those reported in the literature.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Fibrillarin, a protein component of C/D box small nucleolar ribonucleoproteins (snoRNPs), directs 2′-O-methylation of rRNA and is also involved in other aspects of rRNA processing. A gene trap screen in embryonic stem (ES) cells resulted in an insertion mutation in the fibrillarin gene. This insertion generated a fusion protein that contained the N-terminal 132 amino acids of fibrillarin fused to a β-galactosidase-neomycin phosphotransferase reporter. As a result, the N-terminal GAR domain was present in the fusion protein but the methyltransferase-like domain was missing. The ES cell line with the targeted fibrillarin allele was transmitted through the mouse germ line, creating heterozygous animals. Western blot analyses showed a reduction in fibrillarin protein levels in the heterozygous knockout animals. Animals homozygous for the mutation were inviable, and massive apoptosis was observed in early Fibrillarin−/− embryos, showing that fibrillarin is essential for development. Fibrillarin+/− live-born mice displayed no obvious growth defect, but heterozygous intercrosses revealed a reduced ratio of +/− to +/+ mice, showing that some of the Fibrillarin heterozygous embryos die in utero. Analyses of tissue samples and cultured embryonic fibroblasts showed no discernible alteration in pre-rRNA processing or the level of the U3 snoRNA. However, the level of the intron-encoded box C/D snoRNA U76 was clearly reduced. This suggests a high requirement for snoRNA synthesis during an early stage in development.

To better understand the behaviour of curved box girder bridges in resisting eccentric design truck loads, and the influence of plan curvature on the structural response, a model study was conducted at the University of Ottawa. In this study, the elastic response of a curved composite box girder bridge model was evaluated experimentally and confirmed analytically using the finite element method. Analytical predictions of both vertical displacements and normal stresses at critical sections compared fairly well with those evaluated experimentally. The isoparametric thin shell element employed in the analysis proved to be versatile and provided an accurate representation of the various structural components of a curved box girder bridge. Despite the eccentric nature of the applied OHBDC design truck loads and the bridge plan curvature, it was evident that in resisting the applied live loads, the girders at critical sections share equal proportions of the applied bending moments. Abstract:
Abstract Microorganisms use zinc-sensing regulators to alter gene expression in response to changes in the availability of zinc, an essential micronutrient. Under zinc-replete conditions, the Fur-family metalloregulator Zur binds to DNA tightly in its metallated repressor form to Zur box operator sites, repressing the transcription of zinc uptake transporters. Derepression comes from unbinding of the regulator, which, under zinc-starvation conditions, exists in its metal-deficient non-repressor forms having no significant affinity with Zur box. While the mechanism of transcription repression by Zur is well-studied, little is known on how derepression by Zur could be facilitated. Using single-molecule/single-cell measurements, we find that in live Escherichia coli cells, Zur's unbinding rate from DNA is sensitive to Zur protein concentration in a first-of-its-kind biphasic manner, initially impeded and then facilitated with increasing Zur concentration. These results challenge conventional models of protein unbinding being unimolecular processes and independent of protein concentration. The facilitated unbinding component likely occurs via a ternary complex formation mechanism. The impeded unbinding component likely results from Zur oligomerization on chromosome involving inter-protein salt-bridges. Unexpectedly, a non-repressor form of Zur is found to bind chromosome tightly, likely at non-consensus sequence sites. These unusual behaviors could provide functional advantages in Zur's facile switching between repression and derepression.

Abstract:
Abstract Fidelity scales are indispensable in the pursuit of evidence-based mental healthcare. Without fidelity checks, treatment remains a mysterious black box. The aim of this article is to comment on the studies in this special section, and to discuss some general issues with regard to fidelity assessment. Despite all of their supposed benefits, resistance to fidelity scales persists among mental health practitioners. One way to overcome this resistance is to conduct fidelity assessments in the context of a well-guided learning community. The predictive validity of fidelity scales is considered the single most valuable attribute of these instruments. Research on predictive validity requires large sample sizes, which is difficult to achieve. It should nevertheless not prevent us from rigorously searching for this Holy Grail of fidelity assessment. In addition, fidelity assessment should be placed in a broader perspective. The quality of care for people with severe mental illness cannot be assessed conclusively according to the extent to which separate interventions have been applied with good fidelity. These individuals need access to high-quality treatment and support systems within the community, which can enable them to live their lives as valued citizens. In conclusion, fidelity assessment, both at the level of interventions and systems, contributes to a highly desirable transparency in practice variations within the field of mental healthcare.

Abstract:
Progress through mitosis is controlled by the sequential destruction of key regulators including the mitotic cyclins and securin, an inhibitor of anaphase whose destruction is required for sister chromatid separation. Here we have used live cell imaging to determine the exact time when human securin is degraded in mitosis. We show that the timing of securin destruction is set by the spindle checkpoint; securin destruction begins at metaphase once the checkpoint is satisfied. Furthermore, reimposing the checkpoint rapidly inactivates securin destruction. Thus, securin and cyclin B1 destruction have very similar properties. Moreover, we find that both cyclin B1 and securin have to be degraded before sister chromatids can separate. A mutant form of securin that lacks its destruction box (D-box) is still degraded in mitosis, but now this is in anaphase. This destruction requires a KEN box in the NH2 terminus of securin and may indicate the time in mitosis when ubiquitination switches from APCCdc20 to APCCdh1. Lastly, a D-box mutant of securin that cannot be degraded in metaphase inhibits sister chromatid separation, generating a cut phenotype where one cell can inherit both copies of the genome. Thus, defects in securin destruction alter chromosome segregation and may be relevant to the development of aneuploidy in cancer.

The vast numbers of individuals now infected with the HIV-1 virus and its spread to all corners of the globe have been well chronicled. It is difficult to convey, however, the desperation and hopelessness of the majority of those HIV-1-infected individuals that live in regions where resources are sparse. Pursuit of the unique and complex medical and societal issues relating to the HIV pandemic is globally creating a discrete area within the field of infectious disease. The consequences of the severe immunologic compromise resulting from HIV-1 infection vary from those seen in the West, both in terms of entities and their frequency. While a number of antiretroviral distribution programs are in place, the development of guidelines that simplify antiretroviral regimens, enrollment in treatment programs, and monitoring remain difficult. Furthermore, the epidemiology, response to antiretroviral therapy, and resistance patterns of non-B sybtypes await further elucidation. The goals that have been set may be compromised by concomitant endemic diseases (such as tuberculosis and malaria), unpreventable mother-to-child transmission, malnutrition, poor sanitation, inadequate public health systems, and, especially, the lack of an adequate healthcare workforce. However, awareness of these impediments is growing. The understanding of the complex and diverse economic, political and cultural forces entwined with and driving the epidemic is evolving. Finally, the need for a long-term, multifaceted response to the broad crisis in underdeveloped nations where AIDS is but one of a number of critical elements is becoming appreciated.

Abstract:
Abstract Background BB-related infections are a major public health problem, as they are notoriously refractory to current treatments. One of the defining characteristics of BBs is the extracellular polymeric substance (EPS). Extracellular DNA and the bacterial DNABII family of proteins are key components of EPS and are crucial for BBs structural integrity. It is known that targeting DNABII proteins disrupts BBs. We hypothesized that HMGB1, a DNA-binding eukaryotic protein, could affect BBs as it binds to the same DNA structures as the DNABII proteins. HMGB1 is comprised of 3 domains, A Box, B Box, and C tail, all of which have different functions. We aimed to determine in vitro the effects of HMGB1 and its individual domains against BBs. Methods Klebsiella pneumoniae (KP), a common cause of nosocomial infections, was used for all BBs disruption assays. Human recombinant full-length HMGB1 (rHMGB1; 1–215), a C45S mutation variant (mHMGB1) and the HMGB1 domains A Box (1–89), B Box (90–176), AB Boxes (1–176), B-linker Box (80–179), and B-linker Box C106S were expressed (in E. coli) and purified to &gt;95%. To evaluate the effect of rHMGB1 and the various domains on established BBs, each protein species (200 nM) was added to preformed BBs at 24 hours. At 40 hours the BBs were washed, stained with LIVE/DEAD®, visualized via confocal laser scanning microscopy and images were analyzed by COMSTAT to calculate average thickness and biomass. Results Exogenous rHMGB1 and its individual domains, with the exception of A Box caused a significant reduction (P &lt; 0.05) in average thickness (AT) and biomass (BM) of KP biofilms when compared with untreated KP biofilms (% reduction mean ± SE in AT: 44% ± 0.33, 75% ± 0.04, 63% ± 0.1, 77% ± 0.03, 64% ± 0.08, 54% ± 0.15 and in BM: 61% ± 0.01, 80% ± 0.01, 68% ± 0.02, 67% ± 0.01, 73% ± 0.02, 56% ± 0.02 induced by rHMGB1, mHMGB1, B-Box, B-linker Box, AB Boxes, and B-linker Box C106S, respectively). Conclusion Full-length recombinant HMGB1 was able to significantly disrupt established KP biofilms as were all truncated HMGB1 forms containing the B Box domain and could potentially be used as a therapeutic treatment for BB-related infections. A game engine is an ongoing thread that helps us in making and designing beautiful games with the simplest methods and least resources. Game engines support a wide variety of playing platforms that can translate the game designed into a playable game in different platforms like PlayStation, PC, Xbox, Android, IOS and Nintendo. There is a wide variety of game engines that suits every programmer and designer working on engines such as Unity game engine, Unreal game engine and construct game engine. In order to make a game one has to learn how to code in one of these engines. From our results, Unity has everything you need to create games in one place. It has an integrated development framework that creates rich solutions and out-of-box functionality to make games.
