Abstract:
The interpretation of the universal hand gestures of spreading arms and clapping hands in a written literary text is considered using the kinesiological approach to non-verbal communication of participants while speaking, which is currently widely developed. This approach makes it possible to identify the structuring role of the human body in the implementation of gestures based on the biomechanics of individual body parts involved in the process of gesticulation. For movement analysis researchers of French Sign Language designed a real-time 3D gesture visualization tool named ThirdEye to help study the importance of movement in the production of meaning within the context of sign language. Some studies support the idea that research on gestures accompanying speech can provide ways of studying speakers’ conceptualization of grammatical notions as they are speaking. So, the research on co-verbal gestures in French shows that gestures marking a boundary are predominantly associated with the Passé composé (perfect tense) whereas the gestures without boundaries are more often associated with the Imparfait (indefinite tense). As to literary text, it has been proved that the material embodiment of a gesture will obviously differ in each individual case, taking into account the author’s commentary, which gives an ambiguous expressive and evaluative characteristic of the action being performed. The importance of reliance on the extralinguistic context is emphasized, which increases significantly in the situation of translating a text that interprets the body language of the “third” culture representatives who are not native speakers of the source or the target languages. Given the lack of a visual representation illustrating a specific gesture, the interpretation of the relevant fragments of the text requires an extensive cognitive baggage and a developed creative imagination of the translator.

Abstract:
Several manuscripts of Terence feature a cycle of miniatures depicting masked actors. The miniatures mark scene-headings and on this account have often been dismissed as merely decorative and irrelevant to the history of ancient theater. Nevertheless, the pictures project an illusion of theatricality so irresistible and lively, that it is hardly possible that the illustrated Terence does not reflect some sort of performance practice. This paper focuses on the code of gesture depicted in the miniatures and examines its relationship with late revivals of literary drama. I first discuss the iconographic and textual evidence pertaining to the date of the prototype of the miniatures; I then examine Quintilian’s remarks on dramatic gesture in order to outline the code he associated with the stage. This outline serves as a comparandum for the typology of gestures depicted in the Parisian codex of Terence (B.N. 7899), which is based on an analysis of the set of hand positions used to illustrate the Andria. (A glossary decoding the gestures of the Andria and comparing them with both hand positions from Quintilian’s catalogue and those known from earlier iconography is appended to the end of this paper.) The results of this comparison, along with some observations on the artist’s technique, suggest an answer to the question of which (if any) performance practice the miniatures could reflect.

Abstract:
Abstract This article examines the formal and functional features of a recurring ‘away’ gesture in Syuba (Tibeto-Burman, Nepal). The formal properties of this gesture include a pronation of the forearms to bring the palms downward while the fingers spread away, and is most often performed with both hands. Functionally, it is found with utterances that signal negation, particularly the absence of something. A growing body of literature links ‘away’ trajectories with negation, or negative evaluation of speech content cross-linguistically. The temporal alignment between these gesture and lexical content also shows that cross-linguistic differences in word order appear to affect performance of gestures associated with negated content.

Abstract:
AbstractThis paper presents an account of how Peirce’s Universal Categories (UCs) of perception and experience may, as heuristic principles, inform gesture theory and multimodal analysis. Peirce’s UCs – Firstness (possibility), Secondness (actuality), and Thirdness (law, habit) – constitute the core of his phenomenology and thus also the foundation of his triadic semiotics. I argue that compared to the basic sign-object relations icon, index, symbol mainly used in previous gesture research, the more fundamental UCs allow one to discern additional facets of how coverbal gestures act as signs. This notably pertains to the phenomenology, multidimensionality, and multifunctionality of gesture. The guiding assumption is that compared to Thirdness-laden linguistic symbols constituting written, spoken or signed discourses, gestures may exhibit the UCs to more strongly varying degrees and in different, modality-specific ways. The multimodal analyses discussed in the paper show how Firstness tends to draw attention to the articulatory qualities of gestural signs, including aesthetic and affective strata, Secondness to their experiential grounding and contextualized meaning, and Thirdness to embodied habits of perceiving, feeling, (inter-)acting, thinking, and communicating with others. I further suggest that particularly through interacting with embodied image schemata and force dynamics, such habits may give rise to flexible regularities and schematicity in gesture.

Abstract:
This paper presents a study of ways to form metaphors to realise the content of nominations of nonverbal elements – gestures – identified in modern British prose – the novel “Atonement” by I. McEwan. Analysing textual contexts made it possible to single out the types of metaphors in the literary text. These metaphors are united by a standard metaphorical transfer of a non-verbal element-gesture. It is emphasised that words are “containers” of meanings, and the perception of speech is the coding of pre-existing meaning, and its understanding is decoding. It is pointed out that messages are containers filled with values that are sent from a sender to a recipient. In general, conceptualising linguistic communication according to the model of fixed (written) text, we understand linguistic communication in terms of the difference between language (as an existing system) and its implementation (as a written literary text). It was found that from the reader’s point of view, it is crucial to know the meaning of non-verbal elements-gestures, which are the basis for their rethinking in the context of metaphor in the literary text. These structures help readers develop the meaning of the literary text, going beyond explanations of gestures in terms of psychological functioning and metaphorical meaning.

Abstract:
Since the early 2000s, a hybrid form of science-fiction has been emerging in the field of contemporary French literature ~ sound, poetry and performance are interwoven into imaginary worlds. Works of what we call “science fic/sound” are breaking down barriers, resisting attempts of classification, and provoking generic troubles. New practices are developing among SF authors, they seem interconnected and resonate with one another, yet it is impossible to unify them under a single banner. Based on this paradox, this thesis questions the very notion of literary genre, which is inadequate to fully understand the texts, by introducing another counterpoint concept: the literary gesture. Different gestualities can be observed within the science fiction genre, moving among formal operations, discursive strategies, creative processes and the socio-historical fabric in which these works are created. To understand these phenomena, our research-creation is built upon and with science fiction: drawing on Donna Haraway's SF pattern and string figures, we propose an SF thesis right down to its method - hybrid, straddling theory and practice. In an era of collapses, the troubles of science-fiction reveal a more global phenomenon, a gradual dissolution of the boundaries between our real world and our fictional worlds: through our science-fictional artistic practices, we might find ways to grasp the very tangible strangeness that surrounds us, and learn to stay with the trouble

Abstract:
In introducing this work it’s useful to consider both the thematic threads that link the following chapters and the question of why an artist might choose to engage with the type of critical theoretical writing that is exemplified here. I will start by considering some of the threads that can be used to connect an eight year old reading Wittgenstein, “gesture-haptic writing”, freestyle poetry, and unaided human flight. Two questions can help in identifying those threads. Firstly, what can each of these subjects tell us about the ways in which language acts-on and alters bodies? And secondly what are the implications of those alterations for the process of speculating on how language and the body might continue in a particularly productive and creative relationship of co-evolution? Or, to put it in a slightly more linear fashion, how might various language-based creative practices be employed as agents in the continued evolution of the body.

There are many studies about teacher training focused on leadership and the practical value which have represented a valuable contribution to education, pointing to the need for investments in public policies of teacher training, implemented by programs, especially in the literacy area. In this sense, the present case study intends to investigate the relation that can be established between the teacher training effected by governmental programs and the actual teaching action, aiming to evaluate the contributions promoted by Continuing Education Program - PNAIC - in Portuguese area in the teaching practice of teachers in 3rd grade of Elementary School from two schools belonging to the Municipal Secretary of Birigui-SP, in order to understand their contribution to the teaching practice and the quality of education in childhood. It was chosen the qualitative and interpretative case study, given the explicit intention to understand the reality brought by the advent of PNAIC to the teachers of the selected schools, justifying the relevance of the provided choice to the possibility of considering, by a specific focus, how the researched subjects incorporate in their daily work the addressed conceptions during the Program. It is defended in this paper that, through the development of teachers’ reflective attitudes and the continuing training dedicated to the work with genres, the school will be able to “make a difference” in order to reduce the exclusion and the school failure of their children regarding reading and writing. To constitute the corpus of analysis, questionnaires were given to the researched subjects - teachers who teach in classrooms of 3rd year of Elementary School and managers -, survey and study of lessons planning and teaching sequences, classroom observation, collective interview and documentary researches. The data collected allow us to infer that, in the view of managers, there was no integration between the training activities of PNAIC and the ones developed by the school units, since the Program activities were not integrated into the group discussions in the Hours of Collective Pedagogical Work (HTPCs). Even if teaching coordinators and the school principal investigated have been included by the Education Department in the course, this training proposal was not consolidated in the schools. With regard to teachers, the silence of a school, whose teachers refused to answer the questionnaires for not desire that their impressions about PNAIC were disclosed and reached the SME, and some criticisms done by teachers who completed the document sent to unit as well as other used instruments of data collection, demonstrate that PNAIC had few contributions and represented no significant change in work design with the language. It is understood that if there was an effective coordination among the training proposals by Ministry of Education, the own network and the school, the program actions, perhaps, could have been effectively seized and possibly converted to make changes in teaching.

Abstract: The manager of an organization is the individual who has the power to make decisions that directly influence the competitiveness of your business. Developing the characteristics of this manager's entrepreneurial behavior can result in greater consistency to your business, but it is not enough to make you assertive in your decisions. This entrepreneur deals with an endless amount of information, so it is vital that he develop information literacy, since he needs to recognize what information is needed, where and how he can access, analyze, and share information. Through this scenario, the thesis presents results and theoretical reflections derived from exploratory, qualitative research, with a longitudinal and bibliographical approach on the information literacy and the characteristics of the entrepreneurial behavior, having been defined that the study should be based on the following problem formulation: do insurance brokerage managers have information literacy to build relevant knowledge applied to decision making? With the rapid development of information and communication technologies, the society has the feeling that the information has become something tangible, it can be stored using different software types. However, its processing and appropriation depend on the cognitive conditions of each individual, ranging from access to the intelligent use of information to consequently be the construction of knowledge. In the business environment there is constant informational learning, since all decisions depend on information. From this perspective, the issues that guided this thesis are related to the following questions: What makes the micro and small industries organize themselves into clusters and what influence of this kind of organization, in regard to competitiveness? The manager’s information literacy is a competitive differential for the electronics industries organized into clusters? What is the relationship between the manager’s information literacy of these industries and business competitiveness? There is similarity between the manager’s information literacy characteristics in different industries in focus? The objectives are to analyze the characteristics and state of manager’s information literacy at the strategic level from micro and small industries organized into cluster, as a competitive differential. In relation to the specific objectives sought to: a) review the literature concerning micro and small industries organized into clusters; b) analyze the relationship between information literacy and competitiveness and innovation; and c) develop a case study by the electronics industries cluster in Garça City, São Paulo State, in order to identify and understand these interrelationships. As methodological procedures, we carried out a literature review which subsidize the elaboration of the theoretical reference of information management, knowledge management, clusters and information literacy; documentary research which served to prepare the characterization and historical research universe; and multiple case study, including a group of eleven (11) micro and small industries of electronics sector associated in the Commercial and Industrial Association of Garça. The results demonstrate that the information literacy is a factor of influence to obtain the business competitiveness of these industries and therefore effectively contributes to the survival of companies in the market.

The present research, conducted at PPGP/CAEd, studies how two state schools of Amazonas, located in Manaus and belonging to Coordination 5, have been teaching Portuguese Language, under three perspectives: from the school management team, result management and from organizing literacy activities. The goal of such study is to describe the work and organization of pedagogical affairs at schools 1 and 2, to analyze the pedagogical practices of such schools and to propose actions that may contribute to improving the teaching- learning processes of these and other schools of the Coordination 5 in the State Education Network. Aiming to reach the proposed goals, the methodology adopted was qualitative and interpretative of data obtained through interviews and surveys. Data analysis generated the diagnosis: (1) little technical competence of the management team; (2) the need to improve gatherings dedicated to studying with the teachers, coordinated by a pedagogical specialist; 3) good literacy practices, developed through projects. Based on this diagnosis, it was possible to create an Educational Action Plan which proposes strategies to overcome difficulties, as well as to qualify even further the teaching-learning process in public schools.

Abstract:
Literature is one of the richest sources of information concerning the ways in which human beings are able to play with cognition. According to the theory of embodied cognition, human cognition is grounded in sensorimotricity, i.e., the ability to feel, perceive, and move. The pervading cognitive process called perceptual simulation, which is activated when we cognitively process a gesture in a real-life situation, is also recruited when we read about actions, movements, and gestures in texts. Kinesic Humor examines literary works written by major authors—including Chrétien de Troyes, Cervantes, Milton, Saint-Simon, Rousseau, Sterne, and Stendhal—in which perceptual simulations of complex sensorimotor events and kinesic interactions trigger humorous effects. Such works create anticipations regarding movements and sensations, which are unexpectedly thwarted, thus producing cognitive shifts typical of humor. By bringing together literary studies, cognitive studies, gesture studies, and humor studies, this book offers original perspectives on such important artworks as Paradise Lost, Don Quixote, and Le Rouge et le Noir. In it, the importance of rhythm and tonicity in the perception of movements and gestures is a focus of attention. The interactional significance of gestures often lies in their dynamics, and this fact also applies to the cognitive retrieval of narrated gestures during the act of reading. The method of kinesic analysis practiced in this book takes into account such cognitive features in correlation with the historical and cultural contexts in which the literary works were written.

Abstract:
Gestural Imaginaries: Dance and Cultural Theory in the Early Twentieth Century offers a new interpretation of European modernist dance by addressing it as guiding medium in a vibrant field of gestural culture that ranges across art and philosophy. Taking further Cornelius Castoriadis’s concept of the social imaginary, it explores this imaginary’s embodied forms. Close readings of dances, photographs, and literary texts are juxtaposed with discussions of gestural theory by thinkers including Walter Benjamin, Sigmund Freud, and Aby Warburg. Choreographic gesture is defined as a force of intermittency that creates a new theoretical status of dance. The book shows how this also bears on contemporary theory. It shifts emphasis from Giorgio Agamben’s preoccupation with gestural mediality to Jacques Rancière’s multiplicity of proliferating, singular gestures, arguing for their ethical and political relevance. Mobilizing dance history and movement analysis, it highlights the critical impact of works by choreographers such as Vaslav Nijinsky, Jo Mihaly, and Alexander and Clotilde Sakharoff. It also offers choreographic readings of Franz Kafka and Alfred Döblin. Gestural Imaginaries proposes that modernist dance conducts a gestural revolution that enacts but also exceeds the insights of past and present cultural theory. It makes a case for archive-based, cross-medial, and critically informed dance studies, transnational German studies, and the theoretical potential of performance itself.

Abstract:
What if one thinks not in terms of shared meanings or contents, but rather in terms of iterable gestures available for re-enactment in different times and places in order to conceive of a cross-cultural world of literature? This essay sets out to explore, within the discursive mode of the lyric, whether the notion of gesture could be more helpful than meaning-based translation to account for the transferability of literary texts and for envisioning a form of community based on the shareability of certain gestures. To do so, it will look at how the act-event of reading described by Derek Attridge is processed in two cases in which poems are transferred from an earlier authoritative tradition into a new one.

Full text
Abstract:
It is argued that gestural mimesis involves “as-if” actions that explain the transition from practical and literal actions with the hands to communicative actions of the hands. Concerning the term and the concept “pantomime,” it is suggested that it be primarily reserved for artistic practice and used for this type of communicative action only with great care. Given the fundamental role of mimesis to gestures (hand-gestures as well as full body gestures), it is proposed that gestures in general be conceived of as “mimetic expressive movements” – no matter whether they are used in the presence or absence of spoken or signed language. In order to underline the continuity between gestures created on the spot and conventionalized gestural forms, It is suggested to use the term miming or mimesis no matter whether gestures replace or accompany language. The chapter offers an introduction to the theoretical motivations and illustrates the empirical and methodological implications of this proposal. It first sketches three key aspects of an approach to gestures as mimetic expressive movements, then shows that mimesis grounds gestures with different communicative functions, illustrating its emergent productivity along the dynamics of different types of discourse and briefly touches upon dynamics in terms of historical change and how this affects the kinesics and the meaning of gestures. Finally, it is briefly indicated how conceiving of gestures as mimetic expressive movements affects the methodology for gesture analysis.

AbstractThis contribution examines the function of lists in Roman historiography. It considers passages from Cicero’s rhetorical works (on the Annales Maximi), Tacitus’ Histories, the emperor Augustus’ Res Gestae, and Gregory of Tours’ Historia Francorum. The relationship of lists and narrativity is the central focus of the investigation. Moreover, it sheds light on the medium of writing that is crucial for the lists under consideration, the role of bureaucracy and administration, and the entanglement of list-keeping and political and religious power.

Abstract:
Chapter 3 explores the pedagogical use of manuscripts in the Late Middle Ages, particularly how medieval individuals learned to interact with books and adopt reading behaviors. It begins by examining a miniature in a private prayer book from the1440s showing Christ as a teacher and brandishing a book. The image emphasizes how books served as educational tools linking teachers and students in a shared learning experience. This chapter shifts the discussion from production to reception, considering how medieval learners mimicked behaviors through performative demonstrations with books. The chapter surveys educational practices, from children learning to read to adults engaging in complex religious instruction, and how these practices are reflected in manuscripts' wear patterns. It details the use of “picture Bibles” as educational tools, highlighting the effectiveness of colorful images and simpler texts for children. A key focus is how manuscripts designed for children, featuring alphabets and vivid imagery, prompted codified gestures. The chapter considers case studies of specific manuscripts, such as a Book of Hours made for the Use of Paris, showcasing how a child's physical engagement with the book could complement her religious and literary education. This chapter also reflects on manuscripts featuring moralizing texts such as the "Ci nous dist" and the "Tafel vanden kersten ghelove," which served as catechisms for both young learners and adults. The chapter concludes by acknowledging the influential role of educators in setting norms for book handling, which shaped the behaviors of the nobility and wealthy families. Through these interactive learning experiences, people who had access to the tools of literacy were inculcated with a deep respect for the book as a conduit for knowledge, spirituality, and moral guidance.

Abstract:
The human body, in contemporary art, is used as a means, as it also is in fashion design practices applied to the art field, that explore the alteration of the anatomic perimeter in its impact on the user’s self-image, expression and transformation. Costumes that defy gesture bear a reflection on dress over body and we question how functionality (or the lack of it) can influence cognition – mostly when we expect a performer to feel and express the same way a character does and when the audience aims to feel the same way the character feels. Does the performer become a more reactive user towards dress under the realm of the action field of performance art, if interacting with a «non-user-friendly» costume? Since costume and body cannot be separated in performance art, we explore ergonomics, regarding both physical and psychological discomfort in improving the acting of a performer, namely when improvising or moving and in the contribution to a more proficient involvement with the audience. A noninterventionist methodology of qualitative basis is used, based on literary research and observation on the impact of different garments on a performer’s work, so as to obtain new indicators for costume design methodology.

Abstract:
Even though many people consider literature simply as a medium for entertainment, we can easily recognize its much more powerful relevance for human existence. Within a fictional framework, all the critical issues in human life, such as vices and virtues, communication and miscommunication, love, the concept of death, of God, the issues of hatred and violence, have been explored throughout time. A good literary text thus proves its quality and value when the reader/listener is empowered to reflect on fundamental concerns affecting all of us. My focus here will rest on the ambivalent function of human language within a communicative context. It might be an almost banal notion that all human existence is determined by the effective use of language, since we constantly engage with each other through words or communicative signs (including gestures, mimicry, sounds, etc.). Nevertheless, the critical need to investigate what is wrong with our society does not abate even today; on the contrary. Here I propose to turn to two major medieval authors, twelfth-century Anglo-Norman Marie de France (Lais) and late fifteenth-century German Heinrich Kaufringer (maeren) who both offered a fairly large body of entertaining texts. In both cases, however, we discover quite easily the profound concern these writers share regarding the dysfunctionality of communication. Misunderstanding, conflicts, even aggression regularly surface and threaten to destroy the cohesion of society – very much a problem of the postmodern world as well. By way of looking at the central issue through a literary-historical lens, we gain fascinating insights into the importance of fictional texts in which basic human conflicts are presented and discussed. We can recognize in the texts by Marie de France and by Kaufringer extraordinarily effective narrative mediums to explore and learn about communication and miscommunication, how to identify the problems and how to approach them productively.

Abstract:
The wide variety of the components of signs stems from verbal communication to visual gestures, ciphers, images, music, and Morse code. Barthes’ Semiotic Theory restructured the theory of analyzing signs and allowed for a new understanding and interpretation of signs through seeing diverse cultures and societies. Saussure’s definition of the sign as a combination of signifier and signified led Barthes to further elucidate sign as connotative (cultural) and denotative (literal) processes. Semiotics can be applied to all aspects of life, as meaning is produced not in isolation but in totality, establishing multiple connotations and denotations. In the article “The World of Wrestling” published in Mythologies (1957), Barthes focused on images portrayed by the wrestler resulting in understanding of the wrestler’s image and the image of spectator. In Morse code, gestures can make any sport a spectacle of suffering, defeat and justice, representation of morality, symbols, anger, smile, passion etc., from which derive denotative and connotative meanings. Similarly, Thomas Sebeok identifies sign as one of six factors in communication, and which makes up the rich domain of semiotic research. These are message, source, destination, channel, code, and context. The present paper will focus on a dialogic relation between semiotics and sports, thus making it a text that reproduces meaning and represents certain groups. It focuses on various aspects of semiotics and their relation to sports. The paper also contemplates the versions and meanings of signs in sports that establish sport as an act of representation.

Bradford, Mark. "Stretch the possible: Embodied ideation during a global pandemic with BeWeDō." In LINK 2021. Tuwhera Open Access, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.24135/link2021.v2i1.95.

Abstract:
Since 2016, I have been applying the ‘BeWeDō® framework’ as a new method within the broad rubric of Design Thinking. The unique design practice-orientated research is inspired by the Japanese martial art of Aikidō, and literally creates space to get people moving – physically, mentally and socially – to explore an issue and then take the first steps to move conversation to action with embodied ideation. In structuring co-creative possibilities for embodied ideation, BeWeDō adapts the Aikidō movement exercise of ‘tai no henko’ to get people working in pairs, connecting with each other by the wrist in order to move their bodies (communicating in both the physical and mental sense with the movement of their partner) to more desirable positions. The approach involves communication as a co-operative activity transcending the individual: rather, it is a collective capacity generated in the relationships and interactions among people. Offering your hand, and your partner touching your wrist using tai no henko, is one of the most effective aspects of the BeWeDō experience, providing a compelling multi-sensory experience by which people can dynamically connect and co-create possibilities with movement. This connection and light, non-intrusive physical touch amplifies the communication of ideas, facilitates trust, and creates bonds between people. BeWeDō had garnered international recognition prior to the global pandemic COVID-19 turning the world upside down in January 2020 when, all of a sudden ‘human touch’ could put another person’s health in jeopardy! COVID-19 blurred the line between the physical and virtual spaces forever. While video-calling interfaces such as Zoom have enabled people to positively connect and foster some sense of togetherness during the pandemic in ways that would have been impossible just a few years ago, the downside is that the current experience can also negatively impact on attention, collaboration and creativity. Within this context how could I continue to offer people a psychologically safe physical experience as a practice-orientated process for structuring embodied ideation? In response to the pandemic, I have used a visual ethnography approach to connect my practical, personal, and participatory field experiences. My research employed all the senses to create, perform, and represent knowledge as part of the process of reflecting critically on how the existing BeWeDō experience could evolve and navigate the sensory interdependence of the body-mind-environment in a pandemic context. The findings confirmed that the BeWeDō approach could quickly adapt to offer (1) ‘non-touch’ and (2) 'socially distanced' practices. In addition, one of the more significant findings to emerge from this study is the development of an experimental (3) ‘virtual’ practice launched during the DRS2020 conference. Virtual BeWeDō is a gestural and motion-based interface prototype that coordinate dynamic virtual movement using the BeWeDō approach as a catalyst for making connections – a unique transdisciplinary response enabling people to maintain, advance, and generate on-going digital collaborations now, and post-pandemic.

Abstract:
[Executive summary] Literacy studies have traditionally focussed on the seen. The other senses are typically under-recognised in literacy studies and research, where the visual sense has been previously prioritised. However, spoken and written language, images, gestures, touch, movement, and sound are part of everyday literacy practices. Communication is no longer focussed on visual texts but is a multisensory experience. Effective communication depends then on sensory orchestration, which unifies the body and its senses. Understanding sensory orchestration is crucial to literacy learning in the 21st century where the combination of multisensory practices is both digital and multimodal. Unfortunately, while multimodal literacy has become an increasing focus in school curriculum, research has still largely remained focussed on the visual. The Sensory Orchestration for Multimodal Literacy Learning in Primary Education project, led by ARC Future Fellow Professor Kathy Mills, sought to address this research deficit. In addressing this gap, the project built an evidence base for understanding how students become critical users of sensory techniques to communicate through digital, virtual, and augmented-reality texts. The project has contributed to the development of new multimodal literacy programs and a next-generation approach to multimodality through the utilisation of innovative sensorial education programs in various educational environments including primary schools, digital labs, and art museums.
