Professional activity of a teacher-psychologist: organizational basis and work protocols: methodological recommendations. ru: Publishing Center RIOR, 2023. http://dx.doi.org/10.29039/02123-1.

Full text
Abstract:
The methodological recommendations consider a wide range of aspects concerning the organizing of psychological and pedagogical support for participants in educational relations. The list of normative legal documents regulating the activity of an educational psychologist (psychologist in the field of education) is presented. Goals and objectives, main types and directions of teacher-psychologist’s activity are given. Forms of reporting documentation based on the results of the professional activity of an educational psychologist (psychologist in the field of education) are presented. The algorithm of interaction between an educational organization and a psychological-medical-pedagogical commission, the algorithm of interdepartmental interaction in case of an emergency involving minors are described. The recommendations make it possible to develop unified approaches to psychological and pedagogical support for participants in educational relations and to optimize the activities of an educational psychologist (psychologist in the field of education) by enriching and standardizing methodological tools. Interaction algorithms can be used to organize joint activities of various experts in order to guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of students and other participants in educational relations. The publication is intended for educational psychologists, employees and heads of centers for psychological, pedagogical, medical and social assistance. It can be useful for teaching staff, researchers, and administrative and managerial staff in the field of education.

Abstract:
This chapter defines protocols and the requirements to be considered when writing a protocol, The protocol is one of the most important documents and must be clear, concise and well written. The chapter describes the procedures before embarking on writing a protocol, who should be involved and describes all the main elements to be included. The ICH E6 guidelines give a complete list of the content of a protocol so this chapter centres on the main decisions/considerations. The main considerations are outlined in a skeleton protocol which includes for example objectives and end points, subject population, study design, study methodology, assessments and timings and statistical considerations. Once these main decisions have been made the first full draft protocol can be written by elaborating every detail and adding the administrative sections as set out in the company/institution SOPs and the ICH GCP guidelines. The process of protocol approval is described along with the requirements for protocol amendments. The additional requirements to be considered in writing protocols for healthcare studies is set out especially the ethical requirements that have to be addressed.

Abstract:
This chapter describes the diplomatic body and its various protocols. The diplomatic body (corps diplomatique) comprises the heads and the diplomatic staff of all the missions accredited to a particular receiving State. The corps diplomatique has no legal personality or formal constitution. In most major capitals a diplomatic list, based on the notifications of appointments, arrivals, and departures required from missions under Article 10 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (VCDR), is published by the ministry of foreign affairs. The list may also include spouses and members of the families of heads of mission and diplomatic staff. Where one or more international organizations have their headquarters in a capital there may be additional diplomatic bodies consisting of the permanent representatives to each organization.

Zubairy, M. Suhail. Quantum Mechanics for Beginners. Oxford University Press, 2020. http://dx.doi.org/10.1093/oso/9780198854227.001.0001.

Full text
Abstract:
Quantum mechanics is a highly successful yet a mysterious theory. Quantum Mechanics for Beginners provides an introduction of this fascinating subject to someone with only a high school background in physics and mathematics. This book, except the last chapter on the Schrödinger equation, is entirely algebra-based. A major strength of this book is that, in addition to the foundation of quantum mechanics, it provides an introduction to the fields of quantum communication and quantum computing. The topics covered include wave–particle duality, the Heisenberg uncertainty relation, Bohr’s principle of complementarity, quantum superposition and entanglement, Schrödinger’s cat, Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen paradox, Bell theorem, quantum no-cloning theorem and quantum copying, quantum eraser and delayed choice, quantum teleportation, quantum key distribution protocols such as BB-84 and B-92, counterfactual communication, quantum money, quantum Fourier transform, quantum computing protocols including Shor and Grover algorithms, quantum dense coding, and quantum tunneling. All these topics and more are explained fully but using only elementary mathematics. Each chapter is followed by a short list of references and some exercises. This book is meant for an advanced high school student and a beginning college student and can be used as a text for a one semester course at the undergraduate level. However it can also be a useful and accessible book for those who are not familiar but want to learn some of the fascinating recent and ongoing developments in areas related to the foundations of quantum mechanics and its applications to quantum communication and quantum computing.

Abstract:
Whether a library catalogs its own materials or not, librarians still need to have some understanding of RDA. Designed to be used by academic, public, and school librarians, this is the perfect introduction. RDA (Resource Description and Access) was released in March 2013 and catalogers are busy trying to understand and implement the new protocols. This book will help. Unlike the RDA training materials prepared for seasoned catalogers by the Library of Congress and others, the The RDA Workbook: Learning the Basics of Resource Description and Access uses tried-and-true methods to make RDA clear even to those who have little or no previous cataloging knowledge. The workbook can be used by an individual or to teach others in staff training sessions, presentations, or LIS courses. It discusses the theoretical framework of the cataloging code; details the steps necessary to create a bibliographic for books, videos, and other formats; and shows librarians how to read and interrupt authority records for persons, families, corporate bodies, works, and expressions. Finally, the workbook suggests strategies for implementing RDA.

Ribeiro, Jaime, Ellen Synthia Fernandes de Oliveira, Cleoneide Oliveira, Brígida Mónica Faria, and Lucimara Fornari, eds. New trends in qualitative health research: the pandemic aftermath. Ludomedia, 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.36367/ntqr.13.2022.e733.

Full text
Abstract:
With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen new ways of doing things emerge. Various aspects of everyday life have been digitalized. What was once face-to-face, in context, is now done at a distance. For better or worse, healthcare and health research also had repercussions. On the one hand, there were aspects that improved, while others left something to be desired. I will not list them, because they have already been widely debated and it is now important to discuss what brought us to this page. In the particular field of qualitative research in health, also evident in this edition of NTQR, new trends can be observed in the way of researching, collecting data and producing results. We can even say that the successive confinements and constraints in data collection in the field have led us to a more reflexive process, to look more at what others have produced. We have seen, in the different scientific areas, an increase in literature reviews and other ways of collecting data, such as those latent on the internet. But this is not necessarily harmful, on the contrary, it has created opportunities to map and systematise knowledge. Not reinventing the wheel, but noting the "wheels" that exist, what is done, what needs to be done, innovating and finding ways to improve healthcare in its different perspectives. Perhaps due to better accessibility to data and easier logistics, scoping reviews, for example, sprang up, which, based on the qualitative approach, are one of the best ways to establish the state of the art of what we want to know. We have also observed a growth in thinking outside the box, using visual methods to gather information, such as images and even videographic analysis. We live overwhelmed with communications, content created and exchanges of information, by ordinary citizens, service users, professionals, scientists and many other people. A vast amount of unexplored data that has now emerged, perhaps because the imposed brake of our routines has led us to look more reflectively and give it a chance. All this to say that the more sedentary research has not only changed the vision of doing scientifically valid research but has also reinvented processes for obtaining data that are visible, but that were rarely used. Systematizing dispersed knowledge, shortens the time and resources spent and accelerates the acquisition of skills and, as is often said, the practice based on evidence. The evidence exists, perhaps it is not within everyone's reach, so it is no disrespect to gather, systematize, facilitate the interpretation and publish knowledge produced by others. To research from the office in a protocoled and structured way, is to produce knowledge, which should be poured and drunk by those without access and without availability to start investigations from scratch. Sometimes the best knowledge has already been produced, let us guide its discovery!
