Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to integrate pathfinder and item response theory so as to manage concept structures. Concept structure is one important issue of knowledge management as to human knowledge storage. Pathfinder and item response theory are based on graph theory and psychometrics respectively and this integrated method should be feasible to represent concept structures. Besides, fuzzy clustering technique is adopted to provide features of concept structures based on homogeneity of sample. In this study, the empirical data is the assessment of linear algebra for university students. The important concepts of linear algebra consist of subspace, spanning, linear independent, R2 and R3 and many literatures indicate concept structures of linear algebra will influence advanced mathematics. However, little is known about the concept structure and cognition diagnosis on linear algebra. In this study, it shows that lack of concrete examples in general dimensional space will prevent the development of the general theory. There are some limitations for students to use some materials to clarify complicated mathematic concepts perfectly. Most students could not be able to use the geometric insight and apply the Pythagorean of R2 or R3. It shows that methodology of the pathfinder and item response theory will reveal important information of concept structures for students. In addition, fuzzy clustering could distinguish characteristics of concept structures on linear algebra. Finally, some limitations and suggestions as to this study are discussed.

Abstract:
This paper presents a new approach to formulating exponential behaviors like stability/instability for the linear time-varying systems and for the adjoint one. The classical concept of uniform exponential stability is generalized. Using this generalized concepts, some results extending existing uniform exponential stability conditions for linear time-varying systems are derived. As special cases for these results, some conditions are derived for the adjoint system. A characterization of the generalized concepts in terms of Lyapunov sequences is also given. Also, an example is included to further illustrate the connection with the classical concept of uniform exponential stability.

Abstract:
This article is devoted to disclosing the idea of trusting knowledge, which is laid out in the monograph “Trusting knowledge in conditions of social turbulence: risks, vulnerabilities, security challenges”. The genre of the article/review allowed for presenting the key positions of the sociological conception and the results of empirical research conducted by the book’s authors (the research team of MGIMO University under the guidance of Professor S.A. Kravchenko), as well as for interpreting them while taking into account our own theoretical and methodological approaches to the phenomenon of trust and the results of its research. The article deals with concepts that have become the basis for the book — the concept of institutional trust in knowledge systems, and the concept of how the dynamics of institutional trust impact the system of producing and spreading knowledge. Highlighted is the novelty and originality of the author’s interpretations of scientific knowledge dynamics — from linear to non-linear knowledge. Following this, we present our own interpretations of the problem of nonlinear trust — as a response to the ideas of the monograph’s authors on the dynamics of reflexive trust (from linear to non-linear). Special attention is paid to the criteria for evaluating scientific knowledge which bears credibility in the eyes of various social actors. The reflections on the book “Trusting knowledge in conditions of social turbulence: risks, vulnerabilities, security challenges” which this article/review contains fit into the broad context of the theoretical and methodological problems with studying the phenomenon of trust. Shown are possible paths for developing sociological research of trust, while taking into account the ideas presented in the monograph.

Abstract:
The concept of a linear equation is an initial concept that must be mastered by prospective elementary school teachers. This study aims to improve the understanding of the concept of linear equations for elementary school teacher candidates by implementing PhET Interactive Simulation. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test control group design. The sample in this study was class 2F as the experimental class, namely the class that learned the concept of linear equations using PhET Interactive Simulation and class 2H as the control class, namely the class that learned the concept of straight-line equations conventionally (lectures or online meetings). Data on the concept understanding of linear equations were obtained by test and analyzed by independent sample t-test and normalized gain test. The results showed that the experimental class showed a significant increase in understanding the concept of linear equations compared to the control class. The average value of students' conceptual understanding on linear equations in the experimental class is higher than the post-test average in the control class, so PhET Interactive Simulation is effective in improving students' understanding of straight-line equations concepts.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to building various dilatations of linear operators. The explicit construction of a unitary dilation of a compression operator is considered. Then the J -unitary dilatation of a bounded operator is constructed by means of the operator knot concept of a bounded linear operator. Using the Pavlov method, we construct the self-adjoint dilatation of a bounded dissipative operator. We consider spectral and translational representations of the self-adjoint dilatation of a densely defined dissipative operator with nonempty set of regular points. Using the concept of an operator knot for a bounded operator and the Cayley transform, we introduce an operator knot for a linear operator. By means of this concept, we construct the J -self-adjoint dilatation of a densely defined operator with a regular point. We obtain conditions of isomorphism of extraneous dilations and their minimality.

In fuzzy set theory, it is well known that a triangular fuzzy number can be uniquely determined through its position and entropies. In the present communication, we extend this concept on triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number for its one-to-one correspondence with its position and entropies. Using the concept of fuzzy entropy the estimators of the intuitionistic fuzzy regression coefficients have been estimated in the unrestricted regression model. An intuitionistic fuzzy weighted linear regression (IFWLR) model with some restrictions in the form of prior information has been considered. Further, the estimators of regression coefficients have been obtained with the help of fuzzy entropy for the restricted/unrestricted IFWLR model by assigning some weights in the distance function.

In the real-world optimization problems, coefficients of the objective function are not known precisely and can be interpreted as fuzzy numbers. In this paper we define the concepts of optimality for linear programming problems with fuzzy parameters based on those for multiobjective linear programming problems. Then by using the concept of comparison of fuzzy numbers, we transform a linear programming problem with fuzzy parameters to a multiobjective linear programming problem. To this end, we propose several theorems which are used to obtain optimal solutions of linear programming problems with fuzzy parameters. Finally some examples are given for illustrating the proposed method of solving linear programming problem with fuzzy parameters.

We first introduce the concept of TLDFNs and then study the arithmetic operations on these numbers. We find a method for the ranking of these TLDFNs. At the end, we formulate the linear and quadratic equations of the types A + X = B , A · X + B = C , and A · X 2 + B · X + C = D where the elements A , B , C , and D are TLDFNs. We provide a procedure for the solution of these equations using s , t , u , v -cut and also provide the examples.

Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to theoretically develop the problem of attributing linear objects to real estate objects. To achieve this goal, a comprehensive analysis of Russian and foreign legislation was carried out in the framework of relations with linear facilities. At the same time, special attention is paid to the concepts and approaches related to the classification of linear objects as real estate objects in Russian law and in the countries of the Anglo-Saxon and Romano-Germanic legal systems. Considering the civil legislation of Germany, Russia, the USA and France, the authors concluded that there are no unified definitions of the concepts of "linear object" and "real estate"; only a listing of their types has been established. However, the declared concept can be identified based on the definition of the characteristics of real estate in these countries. In this regard, it can be argued that each country has its own understanding in assessing the concept of «linear object» and its attribution to real estate objects.

Abstract:
The theorem about equivalence of the strong hyperbolicity concept and the Friedrichs hyperbolicity concept for partial quasi-linear differential equations of the first order is proved. On the basis of this theorem, the necessary and sufficient conditions of hyperbolicity are found in terms of the matrix of the corresponding linearized first order equations system.
