Abstract:
The 2013 curriculum requires students to have thinking skills, such as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). One strategy to train students' higher-order thinking skills is to apply HOTS questions in the learning evaluation. Through evaluation, the teacher can determine the level of students' skills in higher-order thinking. Preliminary observations show that the Physics exam questions use in SHS in Lima Puluh Kota District have not identified whether it already contains HOTS in it. Therefore, the study conducts an analysis of the availability of HOTS on physics questions at SHS in Lima Puluh Kota District. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data population in this study are all SHS in Lima Puluh Kota District. The sample in this study is six SHS in Lima Puluh Kota District. Sampling for schools carries out using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The research data takes using the instrument of analysis of the questions presented and collecting data through documentation. Based on the analysis, it is found that the percentage of HOTS availability on the questions for each skill is as follows. Transfer one concept to another 19.98%, process and applying information 40.50%, find connections from different kinds of information 32.23%, use the information to solve problems 36.67%, critically examine ideas and information 8 .10%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the percentage of the availability of HOTS in physics questions for senior high schools in Lima Puluh Kota District is 27,9%, with the category of less available

Abstract:
Canva is an interactive multimedia that provides educational functions that can be used as a tool to help skills, creativity and collaboration, thus making learning easier and more enjoyable. Canva's learning media can be used to assist the learning process, teachers can save time in designing learning media, and improve cognitive learning outcomes. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the Canva application on biodiversity material on the cognitive learning outcomes of class X students of Batubara State Islamic Senior High School, Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency. This type of research is a quasi experiment, with a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. The sample used was class X IPA-2 with 33 students as the experimental class, and class X-IPA 1 with 35 students as the control class. The research instrument was students' cognitive learning outcomes using a pre-test and post-test of 25 multiple choice questions regarding biodiversity material. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the cognitive learning outcomes of class X students at Batubara State Islamic Senior High School, Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency in the subject of biodiversity taught using the Canva application experienced an increase in the average score from 45.70 to 84.85. Students' cognitive learning outcomes on biodiversity material taught without using the Canva application experienced an increase in the average score from 40.11 to 81.03. There is an effect of the Canva application on students' cognitive learning outcomes on biodiversity material in class X MA Negeri Batubara, Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency which is proven through hypothesis testing with the acquisition of a significance value of 0.036 <0.05.

Oleh karena itu, teknik Round Table diterapkan untuk mengaktifkan aktivitas siswa dalam bergantian, menanggapi dalam kelompok dan menulis ide mereka di atas kertas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan apakah atau tidak teknik Round Table memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa di SMA Negeri 12 Padang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 12 Padang, yang terdiri dari 222 siswa. Mereka dipilih secara acak untuk melayani sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Tes diberikan kepada kedua kelas dengan topik yang sama. Kemudian, post-test diberikan setelah menerapkan perawatan selama lima pertemuan untuk menentukan perbedaan menggunakan teknik Round Table.

Abstract:
Beliefs (understanding) are something that consciously or unconsciously influences a person's habits. Therefore, Beliefs influence what a person says, means and does. So, Beliefs will have an impact on the teacher's treatment in teaching. Especially in developing autonomy (independence) in students. This research includes descriptive qualitative research. Participants in this research were teachers at SMK N 1 Kec. Luak and SMA N 1 Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban 2016/2017 academic year. There are 4 (four) teachers at SMK N 1 Kec. Luak and there are 3 (three) teachers at SMA N 1 Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban. The author uses a questionnaire as a data source. There are 24 items in the questionnaire. Questionnaires were analyzed using a Likert scale. Based on the results of the Likert scale, the author uses an interval formula to find the score of the teacher's understanding of independent learning. The results of this research describe English teachers' understanding of learning. First, overall English teachers do not have enough confidence that independent learning can be implemented well in their schools. Second, English teachers lack understanding of the definition of independence. Third, English teachers have very little understanding of the role of teachers, students and teaching materials in teaching children to be independent. Fourth, teachers really believe their students can be responsible for their learning. Fifth, English teachers do not understand how to develop students' independence. <p>Harmony is a state where there is mutual understanding, unity, cooperation, peace and friendship among members who live together for a purpose of nation and state. In addition it can also mean that harmony is a state that reflects mutual understanding and agreement among members so as to create peace and harmony. Religious harmony is not the religious teachings blend in the sense of mixing up the religious teachings, but the harmony between different religious faiths. Religious harmony can be realized if there is a tolerance among believers of different faiths. The attitude of tolerance is no other way by controlling yourself in attitude toward others, so that others do not feel harmed or threatened. The attitude of self-control is of course not just coming from one party. This should be done by every believer of different religions<strong>.</strong></p>

Abstract The purpose of this study was to find out how the motivation of students at SMA N 1 Siberut Selatan in learning online during the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection technique used is total sampling. The participants in this study were twenty-four students from class XI IIS. The instrument of this research is to distribute a questionnaire (questionnaire), interview and also record voice (interview). Collecting data by distributing questionnaires to twenty-four students and interviewing five students. Researchers used intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as data sources and used a questionnaire in collecting data and interviews as data reinforcement. Based on data analysis, the researcher concluded that the motivation of students in class XI of SMA N 1 Siberut Selatan towards online learning was high. Keywords: Student Motivation, Online Learning.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi siswa di SMA N 1 Siberut Selatan dalam belajar online di masa pandemi. Abstract:
This study aims to determine the correlation between peers social support and the motivation of learning in Senior High School students 5, Semarang. Motivation to learn is a psychological condition that generates, moves, directs and maintains the behavior so that individuals do better and more creative so the students will be able to complete the task given by the teacher. Subjects in this study consisted of 119 students of class X which consisted mostly of middle and late adolescents. The sampling technique used by researcher is cluster sampling. This study uses two scales as a measuring tool: Peer Social Support scale (42items; α = 0,926) and Learning Motivation Scale (33 items; α = 0,916). The result of regression analysis shows a significant positive relationship between peer social support and learning motivation. (r = 0,500; p <0.001) Peer social support provides an effective contribution of 25% towards learning motivation.

Abstract. YouTube is a website that provides a lot of videos from all over the world. Then, YouTube also offers many benefits for the educational area, such as for learning a language. This study aimed to discover a private Senior High School second-grade students’ perceptions of using YouTube videos in language learning. The participants of this study consisted of ten second graders of language programs in that Senior High School. The data in this study were gathered by distributing open-ended questionnaires and doing some semi-structured interviews. This study found that YouTube has been very familiar to the students because most students watched YouTube every day for almost five hours. However, students faced some challenges and difficulties while learning the language through YouTube videos. Hopefully, this study can be useful for teachers and students to use YouTube effectively to learn languages.Keywords: YouTube; perceptions; language-program students; language learning.Abstrak. YouTube adalah sebuah situs internet yang menyediakan banyak video dari seluruh dunia. Situs ini menawarkan banyak manfaat dalam bidang pendidikan termasuk pembelajaran bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa kelas dua sebuah SMA swasta tentang penggunaan video dari situs YouTube dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari sepuluh siswa kelas 2 dari sebuah program bahasa di SMA tersebut. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner “open-ended” dan juga wawancara “semi-structured”. Dari data, ditemukan bahwa YouTube sudah sangat dikenal dikalangan siswa karena sebagian besar siswa menonton vdeo YouTube setiap hari selama hampir lima jam. Namun demikian, ada juga beberapa tantangan dan kesulitan yang di hadapi siswa saat belajar bahasa melalui situs YouTube. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa bermanfaat bagi guru maupun siswa dalam belajar bahasa melalui YouTube sebagai sarana belajar yang efektif.Kata kunci: YouTube, persepsi, mahasiswa program bahasa, pembelajaran bahasa

Abstract:
Abstract, Active learning in school (ALIS) is one of the learning models that can be applied by teachers to improve students’ achievement. This study aims to determine the implementation of ALIS indicator on biology subject at senior high school in Salatiga and to know the factors that influence it. This is a descriptive qualitative research and the data was collected using questionnaires, observation, interview, and documentation technique. The objects of study were 156 students and 5 biology teachers at five senior high schools in Salatiga. The results showed the percentage of ALIS indicators from low level to high were: learning to encourage students to interact multidirectional (60.42%); using the environment as a medium and learning resources (64.94%); maintaining the learning environment (65.81%); learning encourages student to think at high level (66.11%); student-centered learning (66.91%); there are feedback on student work (70.47%); monitoring the learning process by teacher (71.04 %); contextual learning (73.63%); learning model accommodate different learning style (75.71%). Biology teachers in Salatiga have been implementing ALIS but there are some factors influence it which include lack of time to study with so many subject materials, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and the students’ unfamiliarity with the application of active learning.Keywords: ALIS, active learning, biology teaching and learningAbstrak, Active learning in school (ALIS) merupakan salah satu pilihan model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan oleh guru dan memberikan dampak positif kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan indikator ALIS pada mata pelajaran biologi sekolah menengah atas (SMA) di Salatiga dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Obyek penelitian adalah 156 siswa dan 5 guru biologi yang tersebar di lima Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) kota Salatiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase keterlaksanaan indikator ALIS dari tingkat rendah ke tinggi adalah: pembelajaran mendorong siswa untuk berinteraksi multiarah (60,42%), pembelajaran penggunaan lingkungan sebagai media dan sumber belajar (64,94%), adanya penataan lingkungan belajar (65,81%), pembelajaran mendorong anak untuk berpikir tingkat tinggi (66,11%), pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa (66,91%), adanya umpan balik terhadap hasil kerja siswa (70,47%), pemantauan proses belajar oleh guru (71,04%), pembelajaran terkait dengan kehidupan nyata (73,63%), pembelajaran mengakomodasi gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda (75,71%).Guru biologi di Salatiga telah melaksanakan ALIS, namun terdapat beberapa hambatan antara lain: keterbatasan waktu dengan tuntutan banyaknya materi, terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana, dan belum terbiasanya siswa menerapkan pembelajaran aktif.

Abstract:
Computer self-efficacy (CSE) and job satisfaction play an vital role in achieving education’s aims not only in general affairs but also in particular goals both in formal education institutions and teacher’s real life. This research intends to (1) analyze the effect of big five behavior model (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neurotisicm, openness to experience) toward computer self-efficacy of teachers in SMK NEGERI 1 MOJOSONGO BOYOLALI, (2) analyze the effect of big five behavior model (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neurotisicm, openness to experience) toward teacher’s job satisfaction of teachers in SMK NEGERI 1 MOJOSONGO BOYOLALI. It is highly hoped that the research could be a reference for the schools themselves and the stake holders to manage and improve the teachers. The population of this research is teachers in Wijaya Putra Senior High school and Wijaya Putra Vocational High School which is consisted 52 teachers. This research conducts census method with 46 questioners analyzed. Computer self-efficacy data, Teacher’s job satisfaction data is gained through CSE dan MSQ questioners. While Big Five Behavior Model (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neurotisicm, openness to experience) is obtained through the scoring Big Five Inventory (BFI). Those data is analyzed qualitatively with double regression technique The findings show that the factors big five behavior model with dimension agreeableness, conscientiousness and openness to experience effect partially while the dimension: extraversion and neuroticism do not influence significantly towards CSE of the teachers. The factors big five behavior model has the impact significantly on CSE of the teachers in stimulate way. In teacher’s job satisfaction, all of the dimensions influence in stimulate way and partially. It shows that dimension of neuroticism in big five behavior model is the dominant variable which affects the teachers’ Computer Self-Efficacy.
