The goal of this diploma thesis is design of the concept for motivational system change in the company GB-geodezie, spol. s r.o. A study of the theoretical background in human resources and motivation area was done at the beginning. Based on this study, the analysis of current situation in the company was made, including also statistical survey performed by the questionnaire. Consequently, designs of the changes in the motivation system are developed and analysis of these changes is also made and discussed.

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to introduce changes in the current concept of motivation system in the company the Foundry HEUNISCH Brno s.r.o. in the fight against stress in the workplace. The work is divided into 3 parts. In the first part is the attention paid to the theoretical bases which are defined basic concepts of the issue of dealing with stress, human resources and motivation area. In the second part called analysis is analyze the current situation in the company and analyze the established motivation system in the company. Based on theoretical background and analysis of the current situation is in the last chapter drafted suggestions of motivation tools that have a positive impact on coping stress in the workplace.

The thesis is focused on human resources management and particular activities of the human resources process. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical starting points, by defining basic concepts and specific HR activities. In the empirical part of the thesis, quantitative research was conducted across the international companies in the B2B market and simultaneously they have the performance of their activities in the territory of the Czech Republic. Then a case study of the selected company was conducted and proposals for improvement in the sub-areas of human resources activities were formulated based on identified problem areas. Furthermore, recommendations for improvement in the field of individual human resources activities are suggested.

This Diploma Thesis is focused on the issues of care for the traditional folk culture in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part there is described the development of international and Czech legislative in the field of traditional folk culture, which has an impact on the practical care. The care is practised by the assigned regional centres of care for traditional folk culture in all regions of the Czech Republic. The assigned centres work in accordance with the Strategy of Improved Care for Traditional Folk Culture in the Czech Republic 2011-2015. Aim of this thesis is to find out by means of analysis and comparison whether the assigned regional centres fulfil the specific tasks formulated in the Strategy. For this purpose a special questionnaire was created and evaluated. The results of the analysis will be used as a source material by the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic. On the basis of the results it will be possible to change, reduce of re-formulate the tasks for the regional centres in the new Strategy.

The thesis focuses on the irreducibility of the concept of a person to scientific view of the world. The main inspiration for thematising this specific aspect of folk dualism comes from Donald Davidson (two realms) and Wilfrid Sellars (two images). The theoretical sections are complemented by reflexion on results of empirical studies provided mostly by experimental philosophy in order to demonstrate how this approach benefits attempts to reach complex view of philosophical questions that have close connection to moral dimension of human life. The first chapter addresses a wider concept of self and introduces the idea of the necessity to bring the two conceptual realms on the scene: there is a specific conceptual realm (irreducible to physical realm or scientific image) enabling proper grasp of the concept of a person. The subsequent chapters address particular sub-concepts of the concept of self. The second chapter focuses on the concept of free will, and by referring to different views it points to the necessity to bring folk concepts into consideration. It concludes that the folk concept of free agent is transcendent with regard to scientific accounts and bears certain "supernatural" characteristics connected to the concept of conscious will. This Diploma project – System of public spaces and conception of green structure of rural settlements, in its introduction specifies the basic rules and theses of creation of public spaces of rural settlements, which is then followed by an analytical part. The proposal part focuses on complex modifications of the village but puts emphasis on three selected locations with the greatest potential for social life. A small village Kladky in the district of Prostějov, located on the border between Moravia and Bohemia, was chosen as a model area. This village is struggling with a decline in population and services and with a deplorable state of public space and the possibility of interaction between its inhabitants.

1 Abstract Humanitarian intervention is one of the most contentious issues of contemporary international politics. The roots of the concept of humanitarian intervention can be traced back to the just war theory. Having examined the practice of states, I lean towards the opinion that the international custom legalizing humanitarian intervention has not fully crystallized. Although the realist school comes up with a few very convincing points, I think that the Charter of the United Nations, as it stands now, does not allow to carry out a humanitarian intervention. The International Court of Justice case law does not consider humanitarian intervention legal. The concept of human security became one of the fundamental sources of legitimization of the Responsibility to Protect doctrine. It also served as one of the principles, upon which the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty had built the doctrine of The Responsibility to Protect. The principles of the Responsibility to Protect doctrine were passed by the UN General Assembly at the 2005 World Summit. A year later, these principles were referred to in a Security Council resolution on the protection of civilians in armed conflict. Master thesis deals with the concept of "rogue states" and strategies of the United States that are used towards rogue states. Concretely, attention is focused on two such labeled countries - Iran and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Strategies used by the United States are further observed during the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama and with regard to two typical characteristics of rogue states - effort to acquire weapons of mass destruction and the support of terrorism. Despite expectations, it appears that strategies used by the United States differ significantly and they are often influenced by historical experiences and strategic interests. Bush's and Obama's foreign policies were significantly different on the rhetorical level. However, as shown in the thesis there can be found certain continuities between the strategies towards rogue states.

The thesis The media image of the Fair Trade concept in the Czech press examines media image of the Fair Trade business system in the most widely read newspapers Aha!, Blesk, Hospodářské noviny, Lidové noviny, Mladá fronta DNES, Právo and Sport. The aim is to find out whether newspapers report on Fair Trade in broader context and in which frames it is most likely presented. At the same time the thesis examines the extent to which newspapers inform about Fair Trade. There are two hypothesis formulated, one suggesting that the amount of articles referring about Fair trade has an increasing tendency and that articles do not address the issue in broader context. The answers to research questions and the validity of the hypotheses are examined through quantitative and qualitative content analysis based primarily on the framework theory. Deductive procedure using pre-formulated control questions is also used. The finding is that the newspapers most often present Fair Trade in economics frame followed by conflict frame and human impact frame. In addition, the thesis examines the presence of a critical frame, which is almost absent in the newspapers. The context is usually limited. The main topic of this thesis is the support of youth participation in the Czech Republic and related national youth policy, as defined in the National Youth Strategy for the years 2014- 2020. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the process of creation, implementation and evaluation of this Strategy. Furthermore, the fulfillment of the strategic goal SC8, which focuses on the support of active involvement of young people, is evaluated. The thesis also includes an analysis of key actors, an informalized analysis of discourses related to youth policy and international comparison. Aims of the Strategy 2014-2020 were fulfilled through several implementation tools. The main tools were state grant programs for work with children and youth for NGOs, subsidy programs at the regional level, the Erasmus + program and cooperation with the NN LAG Czech Republic. The analysis of the Strategy evaluation process showed that the real process differed in some respects from the original plan. Monitoring of the fulfillment of strategic goals of the Strategy 2014-2020 should be provided by thematic groups, which, however, disintegrated during the validity of the Strategy. This diploma thesis is aimed at problems of abortion and simultaneously of a different view of theological and biological sciences that deal with these problems. Concurrently, it is necessary to offer an essential outline of basic embryological and medical processes which enable understanding the given problem in view of importance of this situation. On the one hand the thesis presents legal essentials related to the topic in a historical legal context, on the other hand it does not exclude contemporary trends. It regards the given problems through a point of view of various Christian churches as well as world religious streams. It refers to negative health consequences of miscarriage and induced abortion but in the same time it presents basic information about contraception and differentiation of contraceptive and interceptive means. The thesis also presents opinions of individual churches that express their view of contraception or interception. The author of this thesis thinks critically over these thoughts and invites readers to create their own reflection of given problems. He tries to outline a wide range of these problems in the new, wider and often ignored point of view, that is of father's view.
