Abstract:
An article that departs from ideas in analyzing modernization in the context of education, especially in Islamic education in Indonesia. This research was assisted by library research methods (library research). In obtaining research data, researchers collect, analyze, and organize, sources from articles. The research results show that Islamic philosophy developed until new religious concepts emerged in the Muslim world. Because of how these ideas developed, it is clear how the social, political, and cultural life of Muslims was significantly influenced by their movement patterns and world views. Religious education and beliefs influence the way people act and think. The Syafi'i school of thought dominates the religious worldview of Muslims who are developing in Indonesia. Indonesian Muslims in general still adhere to the texts of the mujtahid school of thought (the quality school), and they have not received methodological education (the school), which means they advocate law according to the mujtahid mindset, which has been produced by the school's imam.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine how the transformation of asabiyah or fanaticism in regional languages so that becomes a starting point for national division and disintegration. Then provide a solution in addressing linguistic fanaticism so as not to be trapped in the disintegration of the nation. This study uses a qualitative approach, which is to reveal a meaning related to the social dynamics of humanity and the method of literature study or library research, namely systematic collection of library sources, reading and recording these library sources and processing them to produce a meaningful conclusion. The conclusion is that the plurality of regional languages and the immaturity of Indonesians in language attitudes backfire for the creation of horizontal conflicts between the very diverse communities in Indonesia, also in the Indonesian language realm that Indonesian is not just one but has broken up into several dialect variants of the Indonesian language. So the solution that must be done is first to be inclusive in the attitude of speaking Indonesian by realizing the plurality of variants and various dialects of Indonesian. Secondly, Indonesian language education in public or private educational institutions that are under state supervision must revolutionize the Indonesian language education system and materials according to the times.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The establishment of a sustainable world, ecology, and economy cannot be accomplished without the success of social relations among the world’s inhabitants. In the context of globalisation, which fosters the blending of various people’s characters and cultures, English as an international language plays a paramount role in sustaining human relations as a tool for negotiation; it functions as a signifier of social engagement for international collaboration. Therefore, Indonesian EFL teachers should incorporate sustainable education goals into their classes so students can actively produce and use the language for real-life problem solving. This paper aims to explore a conceptual study on sustainable development integration, utilising information and communications technology (ICT) for English language teaching and learning. Through library research, the notions of sustainability are investigated and the necessity of its integration into EFL instruction is explored. Furthermore, this study recommends ICT optimisation strategies that can be employed to promote sustainable development in Indonesian EFL classrooms. This study contributes to the theory by integrating a context-based and culturally appropriate blended framework towards sustainable EFL teaching and learning in Indonesia. The integrated framework and feasible recommendations should provide practical implications for the sustainability of blended language education practices in Indonesia and in countries/regions where there are contextual similarities.

With the rapid development of technology, libraries, especially in higher education or university, as service providers need to innovate and collaborate. This research focuses on identifying innovations and collaboration of academic libraries (Perpustakaan PT) in supporting the Making Indonesia 4.0 Roadmap initiated by the Ministry of Industry. The framework of this research is based on the future library trend model designed by the American Library Association (ALA), with a qualitative approach, where the stages of data collection are carried out through desk research activities. Based on the findings of this study, there are 37% of Perpustakaan PTs who have owned or developed innovations according to the innovation trend grouping of the Future of Libraries ALA, where 12% of them have carried out internal collaborations and the other 13% have collaborated internally and externally with institutions (703 Perpustakaan PTs). Academic libraries need to increase their capacity in innovation and collaboration and library supervisors also need to pay attention to the inequality of innovation in various regions in Indonesia, which are more dominated by the Java region. Moreover, based on a survey of most PT libraries, it was found that several points in the future ALA library model had not been realized properly, such as points related to technology, government politics and demography.

Abstract:
This article is an attempt to review various studies on religious moderation or moderate Islam among students in the higher educations in Indonesia. It is written as prompted by the incompleteness of various studies regarding the same theme. Specifically, the main issue concerns how the studies on this theme emerge and continue to develop. It is then formulated into three main issues: how the construction of religious moderation is developed in Indonesia; how it is formulated into strategic policies in the higher education context; and how relevant the religious moderation program in the higher educations in Indonesia in the context of contemporary life is. By using a qualitative-library approach and content analysis, the finding shows that religious moderation or moderate Islam, which is believed to be Islam itself, is a moderate religious understanding and attitude. It is not extreme, is not either left or right; and is interpreted with four indicators: national commitment, tolerance, non-violence, and accommodative to local culture. From this stance, Indonesian Islamic moderation researchers propose various recommendations to be applied to specific education policies. In the practice, these recommendations are academically applied, both in formal and informal ways, according to the situations and conditions of the related higher education context. Moreover, recent studies have shown that several counter-radicalism strategies, through the moderation implemented in various higher educations, seem relevant in the higher education context.

Abstract:
Indonesia has cultural and even religious diversity. One of the religions that is widely practiced by the Indonesian people is Islam. It is Islamic religious education that relies on the Qur'an and hadith, of course, is a very strong and correct source in solving problems. The teachings of Islam itself certainly have explained a lot about the differences that exist in life. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The approach used is aapproach library research or library method. Islamic religious education is a conscious effort that teaches students to better appreciate, believe, fear, and practice the teachings of the Islamic religion which are sourced from the Qur'an & Hadith. According to James Banks, the notion of multicultural education is education for people of color. Basically the strategy in learning management is very connected with the strategy of organizing or combining in the delivery of learning. Religious teaching with a multicultural approach is closely related, even highly recommended to be applied in the world of education in Indonesia.

Abstract:
The presence of modernization in the world of Islamic education seems to be a necessity that cannot be avoided. The birth of reformer figures in the Islamic world who came from the Middle East and Indonesia became a separate impetus to accelerate the pace of renewal of Islamic education. This research uses library research type (library research) which is carried out using literature (literature) in the form of books, notes, and research reports from previous research. Sources of data can be obtained from documents or document studies. Document study, namely looking for data about things or variables in the form of notes or transcripts, books, newspapers, magazines, and other documents needed for research data. This research proves that the flow of renewal in Islamic education finds momentum when the Indonesian government is able to synergize with Muslim figures. Likewise, the accommodative and cooperative attitude displayed by some Indonesian Muslim leaders and Islamic community organizations has contributed to the government's belief that advancing Islamic educational institutions is not something that is scary but will add stability to the condition of government and politics in Indonesia. It is at this stage that the reform of Islamic education is ultimately integrated into the national education system.

Technological achievements of the 21th century has affected all aspects of social, political, cultural, Educational, and religious. In the field of education, education reform must be done in order to remain relevant to contemporary circumstances. Therefore, vigorous research activities carried out by the government, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture, education practitioners, students and professors of the universities, and teachers at the school. But unfortunately, most of the results of these studies are still struggling in the micro range. Within the framework of basic education in the Graduate School of Education University of Indonesia. Since 2006 until 2013, virtually no research has "dared" the theme in the context of the macro, such as education policy, problems of primary education access and mother tongue. Tens and even hundreds thesis carefully made by students just become dusty piles of paper in the library. Process research and policy education is still being on their own. The involvement of each party that conducts research and policy makers have not resulted in a synergy that can contribute to the quality of national education. In the era of education based on science, research results can be used as an important basis in education policy.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the autonomy policy of education in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research techniques. The results of this study indicate that the increase in the education budget allocation has not been able to increase the competitiveness of national education in the global arena. The implementation of educational autonomy through the establishment of various policies, including school-based management and the independent campus policy aims to give authority to educational institutions to provide flexibility in the management of education. Although the education autonomy policy has been able to increase the national education participation rate, this policy also raises new problems such as policy conflicts between the central government, regional governments, and educational institutions, inefficiency in education management, the occurrence of new corrupt practices, and education policies that tend to be top-down. The conclusion is that although it is in line with the demands of reform, education autonomy in Indonesia does not necessarily improve the quality of national education.
