Psicología (Psychology), an important book written by two Peruvian authors, Honorio Delgado and Mariano Iberico, is reviewed in this paper. Psicología was a "best-seller'', with nine ediúons between 1933 and 1969 (a record for Peruvian standards in psychologicalliterature) and hada great influence on the development of psychology in the Andean country. The ideas of French and German psychologists and philosophers (specially Henri Bergson and Max Scheler) were influenúal on the authors of this book. A European atmosphere is evident with sorne neglect for the American contributions to psychology.En este artículo se revisa "Psicología", un libro muy importante escrito por dos autores peruanos, Honorio Delgado y Mariano Iberico. "Psicología" fue un "best-seller" con nueve ediciones entre 1933 y 1969 (un récord para los estándares peruanos en literatura psicológica) teniendo gran influencia en el país. Se aprecia la influencia de las ideas de psicólogos y filósofos franceses y alemanes (especialmente Henri Bergson y Max Scheler) en los autores de este libro. Una atmósfera europea es evidente, dejándose de lado las contribuciones norteamericanas a la psicología.

This diploma thesis deal with phase of construction, which is foundation and upper construction of apartment building Komenského in Liberec. Building is situated in built-up and green area. Foundation circumstances is half difficult because of lower water included in soil. In this phase, we use formowork for columns, walls and roof. Used formwork is from Peri company, Quatro, Trio and Multiflex. There is suteren in the house, and because of lower water and high index of radon, we have to protect structure by compact waterproof isolation. This project contains formwork schematics and the time calculation needed to protect concrete until accomplishment. Other task is thermal review of constructions.

La struttura di gruppo è una delle strutture algebriche più semplici e fondamentali della matematica. Un gruppo si può descrivere in vari modi. Noi abbiamo illustrato la presentazione tramite generatori e relazioni, che consiste sostanzialmente nell'elencare le "regole di calcolo" che valgono nel gruppo considerato, oltre a quelle che derivano dagli assiomi di gruppo. L'idea principale di questa tesi è quella di mostrare come un argomento così tecnico e specifico possa essere reso "elementare" e anche divertente. Siamo partiti dalla costruzione di un gioco, inventando regole da aggiungere di volta in volta. Abbiamo poi tentato di spiegare il medesimo concetto da un punto di vista teorico, tramite la teoria dei gruppi liberi. Si tratta di gruppi che hanno un insieme di generatori soddisfacenti unicamente alle relazioni che sono conseguenza degli assiomi di gruppo.Ogni gruppo è un quoziente di un gruppo libero su un appropriato insieme di generatori per un sottogruppo normale, generato dalle relazioni. Infine si è illustrato il problema della parola formulato da Max Dhen nel 1911, e si è visto come tale problema è risolubile per i gruppi liberi.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the social and political thought of John Horne Tooke (1736 — 1812). It is a study of the effect of personalities on politics during a period of violent social and political upheaval.
This thesis is important for several reasons. First it will show Horne Tooke at the centre of the ‘Wilkes and Liberty’ campaign of the 1760s, the gadfly Wilkes only a figurehead. From this slanderous, libellous world of political intrigue came Junius who, it will be argued, was the brainchild of Horne Tooke, contrived in conjunction with his patron the Earl of Shelburne.
Second, this thesis will show how the power of the press was used by Horne Tooke to move people for political ends, and how he used his libellous pen to sensationalise a number of otherwise lost causes. While in prison for libel, Horne Tooke wrote the outline for his major work on the politics of language, publishing the first part in 1786 while soured by gaol, and the second in 1805 while embittered by the Pitt administration, which he detested. It will be argued that Horne Tooke was offering a complete critique of the ruling classes in both cases, but instead found limited fame as an etymologist, such being the nature of the politics of language.
Third, this thesis is significant because it shows the impact which the French Revolution had on the evolutionary process of inclusive politics in England. Through the agency of Horne Tooke, it will be argued that Pitt did not extinguish radical politics in 1794 following the Treason Trials and the introduction of the ‘Gagging Act’, as argued by some historians. Rather, political opposition to the entrenched power elite actually increased during this period as Horne Tooke went about the task of sowing the seeds for democratic elections at Westminster, resulting in the Burdett phenomenon.
Finally, this thesis is important because it shows the revolutionary nature of English politics throughout this period. It will be argued that if an English Revolution did not occur between 1793 and 1804 it was not the fault of Horne Tooke, who remained throughout his life a serious revolutionary with the ability to markedly influence the flow of events. He remains perhaps the greatest libeller of his time. Horne Tooke died at home with friends, well satisfied that although he had escaped martyrdom, he had still managed to have set the ‘century a roar’, as was his custom to ‘set the table a roar’ at his notorious Wimbledon Sunday dinner parties.
Horne Tooke destroyed all his personal papers shortly before he died, thus assuring that no comprehensive biography of his life is likely ever to be written. Fortunately, however, sufficient personal memoirs and manuscripts in various research collections remain, which have been used as the basis of this thesis. I confirm that this thesis is the product of my own research and writing.

This diploma thesis deals with mapping of history of the ballet ensemble of F. X. Šalda Theatre since the end of the Second World War till present. Considerable attention is paid to the most significant artistic directors, choreographers, and ballet performances, most importantly to the life and works of Jarmila Jarošová, a principal dancer with that ensemble. Firstly, the origin of Czech theater in Liberec is put into its broader historical and political context. Also, the Czech-German coexistence issue is mentioned as well as the brief development of German theatre in that region. A list of both artistic directors and ballet performances since the first Czech theatrical season in Liberec till present is an inseparateble part of the thesis.

La tesi prende in esame tutto il patrimonio epigrafico di età romana relativo agli schiavi e i liberti pubblici municipali della Gallia Cisalpina: Regiones VIII, IX, X, XI. Dopo un inquadramento storico-geografico della regione in epoca romana (Capitolo 1), vengono analizzate tutte le iscrizioni latine relative ai membri della familia publica, andando a costituire un corpus di 69 testimonianze (Capitolo 2); tutti i documenti, se ancora esistenti e reperibili, sono stati sottoposti ad autopsia. Segue uno studio prosopografico del personale subalterno di proprietà pubblica operante in Gallia Cisalpina (Capitolo 3); oltre alle testimonianze certe di schiavi e liberti pubblici sono esaminate anche le attestazioni di individui portatori del gentilizio Poblicius/Publicius o di nomina coniati su nomi di città. Vengono poi analizzate le attività professionali alle quali risultano deputati i servi e i liberti publici in Gallia Cisalpina (Capitolo 4). Infine è affrontato il problema della posizione sociale dei servi e dei liberti municipali nelle città della Gallia Cisalpina (Capitolo 5).The thesis takes into account all the Roman inscriptions concerning the municipal slaves and freedmen in Cisalpine Gaul: Regiones VIII, IX, X, XI. After an historical-geographic overview about the region in the Roman age (Chapter 1), all the Latin epigraphs about the familia publica’s members are examined, forming a corpus of 69 records (Chapter 2); all the available inscriptions have been examined by autopsy. A prosopographical study of all the public slaves and freedmen was made in the following section (Chapter 3); furthermore all the records of people holding the gentilice Poblicius/Publicius or some nomina derived from the toponym of the cities are included. Then (Chapter 4) all the work activities of the servi and the liberti publici in the Cisalpine Gaul are studied. Finally the research takes into account the position of the public slaves and freedmen in the Roman cities society of Cisalpine Gaul (Chapter 5).
Dans la thèse sont examinées toutes les inscriptions romaines concernant les esclaves et les affranchis publics de la Gaule Cisalpine : Regiones VIII, IX, X, XI. Après une vision d’ensemble sur la géographie et l’histoire de la région à l’époque romaine (Chapitre 1), tous les témoignages épigraphiques latines relatives aux membres de la familia publica sont examinées de manière à constituer un corpus de 69 inscriptions (Chapitre 2) ; tous les témoignages qui n’ont pas disparu ont été analysées de visu. Une étude prosopographique de tous les esclaves et les affranchis publics est abordée dans la section suivante (Chapitre 3) ; en plus, tous les témoignages d’individus qui portent le gentilice Poblicius/Publicius ou des nomina dérivés du nom de la ville sont étudiés. L’ipotesi della ricerca è che proprio in questo «lungo viaggio» la classe dirigente del cattolicesimo politico (a cominciare dalla leadership di Alcide De Gasperi) abbia completato quel processo di acculturazione in senso «liberale» che le avrebbe consentito di guidare consensualmente l’uscita dal fascismo nel secondo dopoguerra.The framework of the thesis deals with the political and cultural history of the relationship between the democratic Chatolicism stemming from the Italian Popular Party and the tradition of the Italian Liberalism, from the antifascist coalition of the «Aventino» to the establishment of Christian Democracy. The assumption of the research is that in its «long way» the political membership of the political Catholicism (starting with De Gasperi leadership) had go through with a process of «liberal» acculturation, that would allow it to lead the exit-strategy from Fascism in the Second post-World War.

This study examines the office ab epistulis and the office a libellis, which were two offices of the Roman imperial administration that played a significant role in the communication between the Emperor and the Empire. While investigating these offices, particularly in the second century CE (from the age of Hadrian to the age of the Severan dynasty), I analyze epigraphical, literary, and juridical sources in order to illuminate the true functioning of each office. Moreover, I contextualize each one of them both within the framework of the imperial policy of the time, and within the framework of the imperial central administration. The major innovation provided by this PhD thesis consists in examining not only the people who worked in each office, but also the documents produced by them. Two chapters are devoted to this: the second chapter, which explores the people, and the third chapter, which analyzes the documents. In addition, both an introductory chapter and a concluding one frame these two chapters. The former focuses on the equestrian administration, for, in the second century CE, the directors of these offices were all equites. The latter looks at the ab epistulis and the a libellis as actual administrative structures. In the course of this dissertation, I elucidate the different working phases involved in the well functioning of these two offices, while pointing to the existence of forms of collaboration that occurred between them when specific administrative needs required it. Furthermore, my research demonstrates that the office ab epistulis in particular played an important role in the management of many imperial administrative documents.

The present reasearch work aims at tracing within Rousseau's thought a few philosophical issues that allow us to read his political elaboration in a different way than a certain line of
interpretation – from Hegel and more recently the Begriffsgeschichte – that is inclined to include it absolutely in the pattern of modern history of power, sovreignty and representation.
It is clear that, in order to reach such a target, an outplacement of the Social Contract is needed, by reshaping it on the basis of a problematic context that has been very often ignored by the historiography of political thought. The first and most important problem that needs to be discussed is Rousseau's philosophy of history, that appears radically conflicting with the classical theory of the social pact and with its epistemological and anthropological premises.
The second fundamental step lies in pointing out that the political dimension in Rousseau is entirely marked by the crucial role of the social space and of its autonoumous set of rules, especially as concerns the decisive relationship between institutions and the forms of knowledge and opinion: this allows us to understand the importance of a certain interpretation of the topic of social needs. Besides, the research work underlines how the problem of the law might and should be assumed on a governmental level, that can be observed in its whole extension only if we understand Rousseau's pedagogical issues as a paradigmatic structure that must replace any possibile anthropology, focusing on a matter of permanent balance between resources and needs: in such a perspective, pedagogy in Rousseau turns out to be a philosophical operation that is capable to assume liberty in a dynamic relationship with
institutions, romovimg from the notion of individual any political potential. In the end, all these aspects give us the chance to reconsider the role of the law in Rousseau from a different
point of view on the basis of its relationship with the right, showing that it can be read as the materialization of a balance between commom needs and common forces, and not simply as
the intersection of independent wills and particular interests: if we follow this path, the problem of generality, that makes up the Social contract, does not merely appear as a perfect expression of the sovreign model any more, but as the space of production of institutional structures that configure the community's liguistic pattern and its necessary frames of communication. The whole conceptual itinerary was also made possibile thanks to the firm
belief that Rousseau was influenced by a specic inheritance of the scientific thought, that he grasped above all from Condillac (whose importance has not been appropriately pointed out
yet) and that carries out in his philosophical reflection a radical displacement of the juridical field from the cartesian reason to Newton's hypothetical patterns, within a critical genealogy of rationalityIl presente lavoro di ricerca si propone di rintracciare all'interno del pensiero di Rousseau una serie di nuclei filosofici fondamentali che ci permettono di leggere la sua riflessione politica in una direzione diversa – in parte nuova e in parte già seguita da alcuni interpreti – rispetto a quella chiave interpretativa che, a partire da Hegel e poi dalla Begriffsgeschichte, tende ad includerlo senza resto nel perimetro della storia moderna del potere, della sovranità e della rappresentanza. È chiaro come a questo scopo si renda necessario ricollocare il Du contrat social, la sua opera politica più nota, in una posizione critica, e ridimensionarlo all'interno di un contesto di problemi che sono stati spesso trascurati dalla storia del pensiero politico. Il primo e più importante problema da affrontare è quello della filosofia della storia di Rousseau, che appare radicalmente incompatibile con la teoria classica del patto sociale e con le sue premesse epistemologiche ed antropologiche. Un secondo importante passo consiste nel mettere in evidenza come in Rousseau la dimensione politica sia interamente attraversata dalla centralità del piano sociale e delle sue forme autonome di ordinamento, specialmente nel rapporto decisivo tra istituzioni e figure del sapere e dell'opinione: questo consente di comprendere l'importanza di una particolare interpretazione del tema del bisogno. Si tratta, in seguito, di portare alla luce in che modo la questione della legge possa e debba essere assunta all'interno di un piano governamentale, che appare in tutta la sua estensione solo a partire dall'interpretazione della pedagogia di Rousseau come paradigma che si sostituisce a quello dell'antropologia, e che si concentra su un problema di equilibrio costante tra risorse e bisogni: in questa ottica, la pedagogia si manifesta in Rousseau come operazione filosofica capace di pensare la libertà in una relazione dinamica con l'istituzione, sottraendo alla nozione di individuo ogni significato politico. Tutti questi aspetti ci offrono infine la possibilità di riconsiderare in una prospettiva diversa il ruolo della legge in Rousseau e il suo rapporto con il diritto, mostrando come essa possa essere letta in quanto materializzazione di un relazione tra bisogni comuni e comuni risorse, e non come il semplice intersecarsi di volontà indipendenti ed interessi particolari: in questa direzione, la questione della generalità che fonda il Du contrat social appare non più come compiuta espressione del modello politico sovranista, ma anzi come incarnazione di strutture istituenti, come il linguaggio più proprio della comunità, figura di una necessaria comunicazione. L'intero percorso è reso possibile, inoltre, a partire dalla convinzione che su Rousseau agisca una certa eredità del pensiero scientifico che egli assorbe soprattutto attraverso Condillac (la cui importanza non è stata adeguatamente sottolineata), e che produce all'interno del suo pensiero un radicale spostamento del piano giuridico dalla ragione cartesiana all'ipotesi newtoniana, in funzione di una genalogia critica della razionalità.

This study, of a narrative nature, sets out to deal with topics, artifacts and cultural practices in contexts to do with formal training, hands-on learning and reception on the market. This is done under the banner of the career of a potter from Maranhão – Maria do Pote - and the strategy is to draw up proposals, the aim of which is to mediate the popular visual arts. The concept and structure of the libellus, a parchment from the early Middle Ages bearing illustrations of narratives for contemplation, was taken as a metaphor. This prompted thoughts on the possibility of re-creating the libellus, the purpose of which would be to process the content of the study and suggest there should be an open relationship between text, image and other elements of the graphical composition. By adopting a theoretical perspective of an interdisciplinary nature aimed at studying the imaginário and forms that are generally marginalized in the spaces where art is circulated, this research paper puts forward a conception of the visual arts, their meanings and senses as channels for dialogue between education and visual culture. From this perspective, the stories narrated give flesh to the field information and weave threads of belonging and complicity during the telling and retelling of these experiences. The perspective of the researcher and her autobiography are included in the approach to the research. By taking experience and investigative work as a possibility for creating visual poetics, the Libellus Maria do Pote is put forward so as to establish bridges between the ancient and present graphic visual arts; to recover a representative segment of the ceramic heritage of Maranhão; and to investigate education processes in art that develop into the practice of mediation. The narrative is compiled on the basis of a rough and ready montage and begins by introducing the themes, constructs and other relevant terms to reach an understanding of the text, followed by a discussion of the elements of the research, as well as its theoretical and methodological basis. This contextualizes the concern for the study of image and of mediation processes that are developed in educational settings such as schools, museums, outlets for points etc. The context and the everyday life of Maria do Pote are the subject of the interlocking key topics that narrate her biographical journey, the aim of which is to give evidence of the historicity of the research category called exemplary character. The creative conduct intertwined in the work process generated visual poetics (libelli) linked to the discussion of the book and the work of art as a device that prompts the memory, is portable and is fun to learn from, thereby justifying the need for them and thus revealing the potential of these mediation tools. Finally, on taking a view of art/education as being based on mediation and consubstantiated in a rhizomatic pedagogy, considerations are made on proposing micro-policies that grasp the ludic and ensure receptions reoccur.
A presente pesquisa, de natureza narrativa, volta-se para a abordagem de temas, artefatos e práticas culturais em contextos de formação, aprendizagem e recepção, tendo como mote o percurso de uma ceramista maranhense – Maria do Pote – e como estratégia a construção de propostas destinadas à mediação das visualidades populares. O conceito e estrutura do libellus, um pequeno livro de contemplação do passado, foi tomado como metáfora que inspirou a possibilidade de sua recriação, com o propósito de processar o conteúdo do trabalho e propor um relacionamento aberto entre texto, imagem e demais elementos da composição gráfica. Ao adotar uma perspectiva teórica de natureza interdisciplinar voltada para o estudo do imaginário e de formas que geralmente são marginalizadas nos espaços onde a arte circula, a pesquisa concebe as visualidades, seus significados e sentidos como vias de diálogo entre a educação e a cultura visual. Nessa perspectiva, as histórias narradas corporificam as informações de campo e criam tecidos de pertencimento e cumplicidade sobre o contar e recontar dessas experiências, qualificando como condição de pesquisa a ótica do pesquisador e a sua autobiografia. Ao tomar a experiência e o trabalho investigativo como possibilidade de criação de poéticas visuais, o Libellus Maria do Pote propõe-se ao estabelecimento de pontes entre as visualidades gráficas antigas e atuais; ao exercício de resgate de um segmento representativo do patrimônio cerâmico do Maranhão; e à investigação de processos de educação em arte que se desenvolvem na prática da mediação. A narrativa compõe-se na base da bricolagem e se inicia com a apresentação dos temas, construtos e demais termos relevantes para a compreensão do texto, seguindo-se a discussão dos elementos da pesquisa e o seu o embasamento teórico e metodológico, o qual contextualiza a preocupação com o estudo da imagem e dos processos de mediação que se desenvolvem em ambientes educativos, tais como escolas, museus, pontos de cultura etc. O contexto e o cotidiano de Maria do Pote constituem o tema dos tópicos-chave entrecruzados que narram a sua trama biográfica, visando evidenciar a historicidade da categoria de pesquisa personagem exemplar. A conduta criativa imbricada no processo de trabalho gerou poéticas visuais (libelli) articuladas à discussão do livro e da obra de arte como dispositivo de memória, portabilidade e ludicidade, justificando a sua necessidade e assim desvelando o potencial desses instrumentos de mediação. Finalmente, vislumbrando uma arte/educação pautada na mediação e consubstanciada numa pedagogia rizomática, são feitas considerações acerca da proposição de micro-políticas que se amparam no lúdico e na garantia de reincidentes recepções.

La prassi istituzionale dell'UE garantisce un trattamento speciale ai liberi professionisti in materia di regole di concorrenza e di mercato. Questa prassi, tuttavia, manca di coerenza perché si basa su un approccio caso per caso e non è mai stata studiata in un'ottica trasversale.
Il presente lavoro di ricerca propone dunque un'analisi complessiva di questo mercato, individuando gli elementi caratterizzanti le "professioni liberali". L'elaborazione di una categoria propria per tali servizi potrebbe infatti aiutare le istituzioni europee a razionalizzare le loro azioni. Invero, nel quadro costituzionale post Lisbona le professioni liberali potrebbero essere considerate come paradigma del principio di economia sociale di mercato, offrendo così una giustificazione teorica al trattamento speciale loro accordato a livello europeo.The EU institutional practice grants a special treatment to liberal professions in the fields of competition and market law. This practice, however, suffers a lack of consistency insofar as it is based on a case-by-case approach and has never been considered by way of a transversal analysis. Thus, this research identifies the elements that characterize the “liberal professions”, so that the Court of Justice and the European institutions can rationalize their actions. The convergence of public and private interests, which is typical of these professions, causes tensions between competition rules and fundamental rights. Therefore, in the context of the post-Lisbon constitutional framework, these professions may well be regarded as a paradigm of the principle of social market economy. This finding could, then, give a theoretical justification for the special treatment accorded them at European level.

Raccontare il passato di generazioni di giovani spinti alla ribellione, alla eversione da qualcosa che allora era solo un ideale, cioè la «nazione», risulta alquanto interessante, soprattutto se si guarda alla Sicilia, dove tali aspirazioni vengono a maturare alla presenza di una forte tradizione patria, quale era quella della nazione siciliana. Giuseppe Berti aveva segnalato la complessità della storia del Risorgimento in Sicilia in quanto realtà contraddistinta da elementi non esistenti in nessun altra regione italiana: solo l isola era stata per lungo tempo una regione-nazione; solo in Sicilia si erano registrate forti tendenze autonomistiche. Ma chi in Sicilia cospirava per la nazione una ed indipendente , e soprattutto come l ideale unitario venne poi a coniugarsi sempre più in filo-piemontesismo? Questa la domanda di fondo alla quale si è cercato di rispondere riattraversando quel passato vissuto dai patrioti e dal popolo di Sicilia in direzione della futura nazione italiana, in un contesto territoriale e ideologico complesso, non privo di contraddizioni, per dare un contributo alla conoscenza delle caratteristiche e delle differenze all interno del movimento risorgimentale, che fu giocato sì per un obiettivo comune, ma da una collettività variegata.

S'entén per dret intermedi o vell règim, el dret que es va donar
després de la caiguda de l'Imperi Romà fins a arribar a l'actual dret
codificat del segle XIX-XX, i rep el nom de ius commune et iura
propia; en el qual, la institució d'inici del procés judicial era
anomenada libellus i/o demanda. També, en aquesta època
històrica, es donava un estil judicial propi en cada regne; raó per la
qual ens centrem en l'estil judicial del Principat de Catalunya. La
investigació del libellus o demanda observa les diferències i
semblants que la uneixen o separen amb la demanda judicial del
codi processal civil de 1881.This thesis studies and analyzes, on the one hand, the institution initiating the judicial process; and on the other hand, Catalan judicial style. The scope of the research is focused on the intermediate law (the middle Ages or old regime), linking it with the Civil procedure law of 1881. Intermediate laws or old regime rights, which are called ius commune et iura propia, they mean the rights conferred after the fall of the Roman Empire up to the current Civil Procedure law of the 19th and 20th Centuries. The institution that initiates the judicial process was called in the ius commune et iura propia: libellus and / or demand. Also, in this historical epoch, each kingdom had its own judicial style. Therefore we focus on the judicial style of the Principality of Catalonia. This research into the libellus and/or demand notes similarities and differences between them and the demand or slander. Demand is the current name of the institution which begins the trial according to the civil procedure law of 1881.
La presente tesis estudia y analiza, por un lado, la institución jurídica iniciadora del proceso judicial; por el otro, el estilo judicial catalán. El alcance de la investigación se centra en el derecho intermedio o viejo régimen, enlazándolo con la ley de enjuiciamiento civil de 1881. Se entiende por derecho intermedio o viejo régimen, el derecho que se dio después de la caída del Imperio Romano hasta llegar al actual derecho codificado del siglo XIXXX, y recibe el nombre de ius commune et iura propia; en el que, la institución de inicio del proceso judicial era llamada libellus y/o demanda. También, en esta época histórica, se daba un estilo judicial propio en cada reino; razón por la que nos centramos en el estilo judicial del Principado de Cataluña. La investigación del libellus o demanda observa las diferencias y parecidos que la unen o separan con la demanda judicial del código procesal civil de 1881.

This thesis on historical development of the construction of residential buildings and its effect on market prices of dwellings currently in Liberec accompanies the issue of correlation between architectural styles and price currently. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts such as housing, housing stock, housing market and its failure, which follows the historical description of the construction of residential buildings. In other chapters of this part is talking about urban planning and housing policy. The practical part looks at this issue from the perspective of a particular town, which is Liberec. For him the basic information about the local conditions, history of architecture and subsequently through the commodities market tested real estate prices mentioned correlation and era of construction. The main source of research is in the thesis comparing average prices per m2 for each building type. During and at the end, the results are commented and compared.

Nell’attuale situazione di crisi economica, diventa necessario affermare l’urgenza di diversificare i finanziamenti ai musei. Soprattutto in Italia, dove il carattere pubblico delle organizzazioni culturali le rende strettamente dipendenti dalla disponibilità di fondi pubblici, è necessario trovare nuovi strumenti d’innovazione. Tra le varie possibilità, quella che qui si vuole presentare come la soluzione da prendere in analisi è quella delle erogazioni liberali. Prendendo come punto di partenza gli strumenti utilizzati nei musei americani per incentivare le donazioni, si analizzano limiti e opportunità dello scenario italiano. Grazie a queste forme di finanziamento, infatti, i musei potrebbero assicurarsi una maggiore stabilità economico-finanziaria, e, da un punto di vista sociale, creare un legame più stretto con una comunità d’individui resi partecipi della missione dell’organizzazione.

With a particular emphasis on Devon, this thesis examines cases of early-modern libel as performances devised and enacted in the provincial communities of South-West England. In particular, it focuses on the Star Chamber records of libel from the counties of Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset during the reign of James I between 1603 and 1625. Whilst the performance-nature of libel has previously been acknowledged, there has not been any full scale analysis of early-modern provincial libels in terms of performance. This thesis argues that it was the performance of libel which made it a growing concern to those in authority and that provincial libel should be viewed in terms of a spectrum of performance. It also critically considers the view of this kind of libel that is currently implied by the selected publication of libel cases in the Records of Early English Drama volumes. The thesis includes an exploration of the uses of space and place by performance-based libel through the mapping of a sample of cases from Devon onto their contemporary landscape. The roles of women as spectators and engineers of libel performances are also examined, and this, in turn, necessitates careful consideration of the nature and limitations of the records through which accounts of provincial libel are received. Finally, the thesis applies literary analysis to the contents of those performance-based libels which used texts, in verse or prose, to defame their targets. From this analysis emerge features which can begin to define a genre of performance-based textual libel characterised by a distinctive authorial voice and a complex system of generic association. The study of the offence of libel at a local level in the South-West counties of England reveals sophisticated uses of performance in early-modern communal conflicts from all levels of society during a period of wider cultural, social and political change.

Ce travail présente une édition et une traduction annotée de la paraphrase à l’Art poétique d’Horace de Francesco Robortello, philologue de la Renaissance célèbre pour son commentaire à la Poétique d’Aristote. La paraphrase paraît en 1548 à Florence, au sein du volume qui contient le commentaire à Aristote. Elle est rééditée à Bâle en 1555 avec le commentaire à la Poétique. Cette paraphrase prend place au sein de la nébuleuse des commentaires à l’Art poétique d’Horace qui se multiplient à la Renaissance. Cette étude montre que la paraphrase de Robortello s’inscrit dans une tradition du commentaire qui remonte à l’Antiquité et qu’elle se distingue des autres commentaires humanistes par sa forme et par l’intégration de nombreuses références à la Poétique d’AristoteThis work consists of an edition and a translation with commentary of the paraphrase to Horace's Art of Poetry by Francesco Robortello, a Renaissance philologist famous for his commentary on Aristotle's Poetics. The paraphrase was published in 1548, in Florence, and belongs to a volume that contains the commentary on Aristotle. It was published again in Basel in 1555 with the commentary on Aristotle's Poetics. This paraphrase is part of the myriad of commentaries on Horace's Art of Poetry that proliferated during the Renaissance. This study shows that Robortello’s paraphrase is part of a tradition of commentary that goes back to Antiquity and that it differs from other humanistic commentaries by its form and by its many references to Aristotle’s Poetics

This first history of the western liturgy, was written c.842 by Walahfrid Strabo, a cleric from southern Germany. It was probably written to be used in the monastery on the island of Reichenau on Lake Constance (where Walahfrid was abbot from 838-849) as a teaching text for priests who would minister to rural parishes. Often cited but never studied in depth, this is the first translation of the entire text. In the commentary I have attempted to demonstrate that in the middle of the ninth century an intelligent liturgist can give us an accurate and realistic contemporary picture of ecclesiastical and liturgical matters. But unusually Walahfrid presents his material in an evolutionary perspective and with precise citations of his sources, rather in the manner of a modern historian, not in the simple expository or allegorical forms which were more typical of the period. The first part of the libellus examines various features of church buildings per se, such as altars, vocabulary for many architectural features, the use of pictures and images, and the dedication of churches. The second and longer section of De exordiis is a detailed examination of various liturgical aspects of public ceremonies conducted in both churches and monasteries. One of Walahfrid's major concerns in the second half of the libellus is to present the history of the Eucharistic liturgy, with specific references to topics such as fasting, frequency of communion, and the arrangement of the sections of the Mass; another is the origins of certain liturgical actions in baptism, an area which the Carolingians saw in a legislative context, the result of Charlemagne's educational reforms for the clergy, and the proliferation of Christianity throughout the Frankish empire; a third is the development of hymnography, the collection of chants or songs that are neither canonical psalms nor biblical canticles, but enter into the celebration of the liturgy, especially the Liturgy of the Hours (hymns, antiphons, responses, etc.). My comments put Walahfrid's remarks into the wider context of Christian literature, from early Patristic texts up to the innovatory writings of the Carolingian era when the liturgy was in a state of flux, and for monk, priest, scribe, musician, bishop and emperor participation in its development was a lively issue. The detailed examinations of Walahfrid's sources, theological, historical, legislative and literary, are crucial evidence for the transmission of texts and their availability to scholars in the mid-ninth century. I have demonstrated where Walahfrid is in error as a result of the texts he has used or lack of them, where he agrees with modern literature, and where he is the only source. Where it is liturgically relevant, Walahfrid's vocabulary is discussed with reference to both Patristic and Carolingian literature. His use of Greek and Old High German, although well worth intensive study, has not been subjected to detailed analysis in this thesis.

Il Parmigiano Reggiano è un formaggio DOP, semigrasso a pasta cotta. Si tratta di un formaggio a maturazione glicolitica, proteolitica e lipolitica e ognuna di queste fasi riveste un ruolo essenziale nella determinazione della struttura, aroma, sapore e tipicità. L’analisi ha il fine di valutare se vi sia un cambiamento nella frazione lipidica, in riferimento al contenuto di acidi grassi liberi in vari campioni di Parmigiano Reggiano a ridotto contenuto di sale, provenienti da quattro diversi caseifici nelle zone di Reggio Emilia, Modena e Parma, sulla base di due parametri: periodo di salatura (12 o 18 giorni) e dimensione della forma. Gli acidi grassi liberi sono stati caratterizzati quantitativamente e qualitativamente con gascromatografia accoppiata ad un rivelatore a ionizzazione di fiamma (FID). Gli acidi grassi liberi presi in considerazione sono l’acido palmitico (C16:0), l’acido stearico (C18:0) con i relativi isomeri, ovvero l’acido palmitoleico (C16:1c), l’acido oleico (C18:1 c-9) e l’acido linoleico (C18:2 n-6). Le percentuali mostrano una riduzione o un aumento significativo tra i vari acidi grassi nei diversi campioni presi in riferimento a seconda dei parametri utilizzati. Inoltre la quantità totale di acidi grassi liberi (FFA totali) calcolati come mg\100 mg grasso, mostra come in alcuni campioni vi sia un aumento significativo della lipolisi all’aumentare dei giorni di salatura (da 12 a 18), mentre in altri campioni avvenga il fenomeno contrario; oppure mostra un aumento dell’attività lipolitica o una riduzione di essa passando dalla piccola, alla media o alla grande forma. Questa analisi ha dimostrato un andamento piuttosto differente a seconda dei parametri utilizzati e questo è dovuto al fatto che durante la stagionatura del Parmigiano Reggiano entrano in gioco una serie di fattori come l’ aw del prodotto, le condizioni come temperatura e umidità del magazzino, l'attività microbica all’interno delle forme.

Uno dei fenomeni caratteristici della nostra epoca sul piano politico oltre che su quello eminentemente giuridico, consiste nel profondo ripensamento che sta investendo i principi fondamentali, ma anche i criteri e i modi concreti di gestione dei beni del patrimonio culturale nazionale, sempre più indirizzati verso la collaborazione tra il pubblico e il privato.
Nell’ambito di tale collaborazione volta a realizzare in maniera sempre più economicamente efficiente i programmi di tutela e valorizzazione dei beni culturali, le scelte del legislatore tributario giocano un ruolo di primo piano se indirizzate verso la predisposizione di un trattamento non ordinario che favorisca la conservazione del patrimonio artistico del nostro paese e che sia complementare e coerente con l’implementazione di miglioramento del settore.
Gli interventi dei privati devono essere incoraggiati e un’opzione forte deve giungere sotto il profilo fiscale; infatti, com’è stato autorevolmente sostenuto, “ se da un lato investire in cultura rappresenta ormai per le imprese un investimento jure privatorum produttivo, vero è che gli strumenti e gli abiti mentali sono tali da permettere di verificare in concreto come “l’utile” sia in realtà collettivo ed a vantaggio di tutti sotto un profilo di fruibilità ed accesso al sistema ed ai sistemi culturali” .
La Costituzione pur riconoscendo che la conservazione e la valorizzazione dei beni culturali dei beni artistici e ambientali sono premesse indispensabili allo sviluppo civile di una comunità che in questi valori ritrova le sue origini e i motivi della sua esistenza, si fa portavoce di un programma di tutela e salvaguardia, nonché di valorizzazione di questo particolare tipo di bene che, per le sue peculiarità è atto a divenire servizio sociale .Il tratto caratterizzante dei beni del patrimonio culturale è infatti, come più volte precisato, proprio il valore che vi è insito e che li rede strumenti di soddisfazione di un interesse pubblico di tipo sensibile, estetico ed intellettuale.
Tale aspetto ha condotto a qualificare questo tipo di bei, sul piano giuridico-teorico come “beni di fruizione” e contestualmente , sul piano politico di gestione, come “merit goods” portando con sé l’esigenza di tutela e valorizzazione. E, poiché essi sono vincolati al principio del necessario perseguimento dei fini della collettività, la salvaguardia e la valorizzazione devono essere implementate attraverso una penetrante ingerenza pubblica.

Il teff (Eragrostis tef) è uno pseudocereale originario dell’Etiopia che recentemente si sta diffondendo in vari Paesi. Infatti presenta numerose caratteristiche positive (buon contenuto di fibra e composti fenolici, indice glicemico ridotto, assenza di glutine) che potrebbero renderlo adatto alla formulazione di alimenti funzionali o arricchiti, destinati a categorie della popolazione con particolari esigenze (diabetici, celiaci, neonati).
I dati attualmente disponibili riguardo il profilo fenolico del teff sono estremamente carenti.
Pertanto, lo scopo di questa tesi è la determinazione dei composti fenolici liberi e legati in una farina di teff, mediante la combinazione della cromatografia liquida ad alte prestazioni e la spettrometria di massa con analizzatore a tempo di volo (HPLC-ESI-TOF-MS).
L’estrazione dei fenoli liberi e legati dal campione di farina è stata condotta seguendo il metodo messo a punto da Verardo et al. (2011). Dall'analisi dei rispettivi base peak chromatogram sono stati individuati 15 composti fenolici nell'estratto solubile e 5 nell'estratto insolubile.
I fenoli liberi riscontrati sono esclusivamente flavonoidi: 11 derivati dall'apigenina, 2 derivati dalla luteolina e 2 composti acetilati derivati dalla vitexina, identificati per la prima volta nella farina di teff.
L'estratto insolubile risulta composto da acidi fenolici, rappresentati dall'acido ferulico e i suoi derivati.
Non è stato possibile effettuare la determinazione dei composti fenolici totali mediante saggio al reattivo di Folin-Ciocalteu a causa dell’intorbidimento dell’estratto in fase di diluizione: questo ha confermato il limite di tale metodologia, sebbene ampiamente utilizzata, nella determinazione dei composti fenolici.

Nel presente lavoro di tesi sono state individuate possibili soluzioni per l’incremento
delle prestazioni di aerogeneratori ad asse orizzontale; derivate dall’analisi
delle equazioni che descrivono l’aerodinamica di tali macchine. Il modello
matematico della turbina ha mostrato due possibili interventi: il confinamento
del tubo di flusso attorno alla macchina, o l’intervento diretto sulla
sezione aerodinamica delle pale. Posizionando la turbina in un diffusore o creando
un vortice dietro la macchina, è possibile aumentare il salto di pressione.
Studi teorici hanno mostrato che, l’utilizzo del vortice dietro la turbina produce
notevoli aumenti del coefficiente di potenza; ma la complessità della macchina
ne ha sempre limitato lo sviluppo. Misure sperimentali e simulazioni numeriche
su di un modello in scala hanno mostrato l’effettiva possibilità di generare il vortice,
utilizzando un condotto cilindrico con ingressi tangenziali; incrementando
la portata in turbina sfruttando delle guide a spirale per il flusso principale. Se
ogni sezione palare della macchina non lavora correttamente, ogni intervento
di confinamento della macchina è però vano. La sezione più svantaggiata è
quella di radice, per la quale oltre ad una bassa velocità del flusso incidente si
aggiunge un elevato spessore della sezione, necessario a garantire la resistenza
meccanica della pala. Nella galleria del vento aeronautica dell’“Università Politecnica
delle Marche”, sono stati testati due profili progettati per la sezione
di radice di piccoli aerogeneratori. E’ stata possibile una completa caratterizzazione
aerodinamica del profilo, eseguendo misure di pressione esterna all’ala
accoppiate a misure di scia, ed utilizzando una bilancia dinamometrica. Misure
di pressione e termografia infrarossa, hanno permesso l’identificazione del
fenomeno di separazione locale del flusso detto “bolla di separazione laminare”.
Allo scopo di ridurre tali separazioni, è stato introdotto un disturbo nello strato
limite sia con un piezoelettrico che con una massa eccentrica rotante, ottenendo
un aumento dell’efficienza aerodinamica. Nell’ultima parte del lavoro è stata
costruita è testata un’ala con il tratto terminale deformabile, allo scopo di
controllare i carichi aerodinamici generati dalla pala qualora la velocità ecceda
il limite nominale della macchina; necessità emersa con le nuove macchine
multimegawatt.The aim of this work is to show the possibility to increase wind turbine performances starting from the equations that describe the aerodynamic of these machines. The mathematical model shows two different ways to operate this increase, working on the stream tube around the turbine or directly on the aerodynamic sections of the blade. Placing the turbine in a diffuser or using a vortex behind the rotor section, the pressure drop increases. Theoretical study shows that using a vortex downstream gives a huge increase of power extraction, but its complexity had limited the development of this approach. Experimental and numerical analysis on testing model show that it’s possible to generate a vortex behind the rotor using a cylindrical duct with tangential flow entry, and increasing the mass flow rate through the rotor section by using twisted channels that redirect main flow. If every single airfoil of the blade doesn’t work correctly all the improvements on the global design are useless. A disadvantaged section is the blade root, because of the lowest relative velocities; moreover this section has the greater thickness due to mechanical safety. These operative conditions may cause the phenomenon of the local boundary layer separation named Laminar Separation Bubble (LSB). In the aeronautic wind tunnel of the “Università Politecnica delle Marche” two airfoils, designed for the root section of a small wind turbine, are testing. In order to obtain a complete characterization of the phenomenon, pressure measurements, wake analysis and load cell balance are used to evaluate the aerodynamic loads on built-in wing section. Pressure measurements and infrared investigation allow to localize the separation. In order to reduce the LSB phenomenon, increasing the aerodynamic efficiency, (mechanical disturbances directly inside the boundary layer) are produced using a piezoelectric device or an electric motor with an unbalanced mass. In the last part of the work a morphing wing section is designed and tested to evaluate the control of aerodynamic loads when the wind speed exceeds the nominal velocity of the turbine. This aspect is relevant especially for the new multimegawatt wind turbines.
