<em>In this paper floating gate MOS (FGMOS) along with sleep transistor technique and leakage control transistor (LECTOR) technique has been used to design low power SRAM cell. Detailed investigation on operation, analysis and result comparison of conventional 6T, FGSRAM, FGSLEEPY, FGLECTOR and FGSLEEPY LECTOR has been done. All the simulations are done in Cadence Virtuoso environment on 45 nm standard CMOS technology with 1 V power supply voltage. Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose a leakage reduction technique which will works for complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and fin field effect transistor (FinFET). Power consumption will always remain one of the major concerns for the integrated circuit (IC) designers. Presently, leakage power dominates the total power consumption, which is a severe issue. It is undoubtedly clear that the scaling of CMOS revolutionizes the IC industry. Still, on the contrary, scaling of the size of the transistor has raised leakage power as one of the significant threats to the IC industry. Scaling of the devices leads to the scaling of other device parameters, which includes threshold voltage also. The scaling of threshold voltage leads to an exponential increase in the sub-threshold current. So, many leakage reduction techniques have been proposed by researchers for CMOS from time to time. Even the other nano-scaled devices such as FinFET, carbon nanotube field effect transistor and tunneling field effect transistor, have been introduced, and FinFET is the one which has evolved as the most favorable candidate for replacing CMOS technology. Design/methodology/approach Because of its minimum leakage and without having limitation of the short channel effects, it gradually started replacing the CMOS. In this paper, the authors have proposed a technique for leakage reduction for circuits using nano-scaled devices such as CMOS and FinFET. They have compared the proposed PMOS FOOTER SLEEP with the existing leakage reduction techniques such as LECTOR technique, LECTOR FOOTER SLEEP technique. The proposed technique has been implemented using CMOS and FinFET devices. This study found that the proposed method reduces the average power, as well as leakage power reduction, for both CMOS and FinFET devices. Findings This study found that the proposed method reduces the average power as well as leakage power reduction for both CMOS and FinFET devices. The delay has been calculated for the proposed technique and the existing techniques, which verifies that the proposed technique is suitable for high-speed circuit applications. The authors have implemented higher order gates to verify the performance of the proposed circuit. The proposed method is suitable for deep-submicron CMOS technology and FinFET technology. Originality/value All the existing techniques were proposed for either CMOS device or FinFET device, but the authors have implemented all the techniques with both the devices and verified with the proposed technique for CMOS as well as FinFET devices.

Abstract:
This paper aims to explain the relationship between family formation and the career rhythms of female lecturers. The sampling technique is cluster sampling, followed by the stratified random sampling technique. This study selected a sample of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip). The sample size calculation uses the Krejcie and Morgan technique. The number of respondents this study was 156 from 633 female lecturers of Undip. The results showed that 55 percent of women lecturers of Undip have been married for more than 10 years, 62 percent had 2-3 children, 53 percent as lector and associate professor in academic position, and only 1.9 percent as professors. Undip female lecturers transit time at expert assistant and lector is almost 15 percent and all professor when at associate professor are more than 7 years. Thus concluded that family formation was related with career rhythms. The shorter the age of marriage, the more children they have, the lower the age of the first and last child, will be slower of the career rhythm. This shows that Undip female lecturers cannot take advantage of the various opportunities and opportunities available for career development. This is more due to the outpouring of energy, mind and attention to family because children and families are more valuable than work for female lecturers. This is inseparable from the hegemony of patriarchal culture which is fertile and well-established in Indonesia in general and in Undip in particular.

Le point de depart de cette these est la perception d'un sentiment d'inconfort - l'"intranquillite" - ne de la lecture des oeuvres de georges perec. Mal definissable et peu enclin a etre l'objet de theorie, ce sentiment ne peut etre compris qu'a partir de l'observation de son fonctionnement dans les textes memes. Quatre textes courts et anecdotiques sont ainsi etudies dans le detail. Abordes selon des approches specifiques : le temps, le quotidien, l'ecriture, ils sont par ailleurs mis en relation avec des libres plus riches et mieux connus. Le theme de l'inventaire, forme d'ecriture atypique et par la inquietante, est ensuite traite, nourri de nombreux exemples pris dans l'oeuvre perecquienne. Une seconde partie, nettement differente, s'ouvre alors : il s'agit d'une classification de quelqus figures perecquienne s par quoi l'on percoit mieux les rapports etablis entre l'auteur, le lecteur et l'oeuvre. Un tel reperage, arbitraire mais non exhaustif et non definitif, permet de reconnaitre l'intranquillite comme un pivot a la croisee de ces trois entites
The origin of this thesis is the perception of an uncomfortable feeling - the "intranquillity" - arisen from the reading of ggeorges perec's works. Hard to define and not very inclined to be an object of theory, this feeling can't be understood but by examining its functionning into the texts themselves. Four short and quite anecdotal texts are so studied in details. Tackled according to specific approaches : time, everyday-life, writing, they are moreover connectd with richer and more famous books. Then inventory- the theme of enumeraton -, which is an atypic and so worrying writing form, is examined with help of many examples picked out perec's works. A second part, clearly different, begins here : it's about a classification of some perecian figures, which allows to better perceive the connections between the author, the reader and the text. This sort of taxonomy, yes arbitrary but neither exhaustive nor definitive, leads to recognize the "intranquillity" as a crossing point for those three entities

El objetivo principal de este trabajo es definir técnicas populares entre los receptores chinos para la traducción literaria del español al chino. La hipótesis es que, a receptores diferentes les gustan distintas técnicas; las técnicas apreciadas por cierto grupo de lectores comparten unas características comunes. Basándose en el objetivo y la hipótesis del estudio, se establecieron cuatro modelos metodológicos: el modelo de clasificación de técnicas de traducción, el modelo de análisis de texto, el modelo de análisis de lectores y el modelo de hacer investigación mediante cuestionario. En este marco se llevó a cabo una investigación empírico-experimental con lectores de diferente nivel de estudio, género y edad de traducción literaria español-chino. El corpus del estudio trata de la obra literaria Platero y yo y sus ocho versiones chinas. Ante todo, basándose en el modelo de análisis de texto, se llevó a cabo un análisis textual sobre Platero y yo desde tres factores principales y los doce del segundo grado: el género literario (lenguaje, estructura, argumentos), las figuras literarias (apariencia de los protagonista, carácter de los protagonistas, apariencia de las figuras secundarias, carácter de las figuras secundarias) y los sentidos implícitos (estilo estético, sentimientos, actitud del autor ante la vida, pensamientos y intención creativa), para determinar los elementos clave que deben ser transferidos en las traducciones. Al terminar el estudio sobre la obra original, se llevó a cabo un análisis contrastivo de las técnicas utilizadas en los ocho textos traducidos: se realizó una selección aleatoria de Platero y yo para extraer una oración (la elección se efectuó siguiendo los doce factores arriba mencionados). Se analizaron esta frase original seleccionada y sus tres versiones chinas (traducidas por diferentes técnicas), las últimas se elegían entre las ocho traducciones. Este análisis tomó los doce procedimientos del modelo de clasificación de técnicas de traducción como referencia. Se analizaron en total 62 frases originales con sus tres traducciones respectivas, las cuales construían la parte fundamental del cuestionario del experimento. Después de determinar la parte fundamental del cuestionario, se efectuó una agrupación sobre los encuestados. Acudí a los tres factores (el nivel de estudios, el género y la edad) como parámetros para agrupar los receptores de las traducciones, es decir, en total existían tres grupos de lectores, cada grupo contaba con dos grupos secundarios que contenían 20-30 personas respectivamente. Al determinar el cuestionario y los encuestados, se llevó a cabo la encuesta entre los individuales. Basándome en el resultado, realicé un análisis sobre las doce técnicas entre diferentes lectores a través de los tres factores que influían en las expectativas de ellos. A través de este análisis, se ha confirmado la existencia de una relación entre el nivel de estudios y la edad de los receptores chinos y el gusto por las técnicas. La relación es: a mayor grado de educación y a mayor edad se esperan procedimientos de traducción más cercanos al texto original. Asimismo, se nota que, hasta ahora, en la recepción china las técnicas que rechazan las características lingüísticas y culturales de la lengua de partida, cambian la forma, el contenido y la situación del texto original y tienen un mayor grado de intervención del traductor ocupan un lugar popular en el ámbito de la traducción literaria.
The main aim of this article is to define popular techniques among the Chinese receptors for the literary translation from Spanish to Chinese. The following hypothesis was formulated: different receivers like different techniques. The techniques appreciated by a certain group of readers share common characteristics. Based on the objective and the hypothesis of the study, four methodological models were established: the classification model of translation techniques, the text analysis model, the reader analysis model and the research questionnaire model. With this hypothesis in mind and to fulfill the main aim, an empirical-experimental research was carried out with readers of different levels of education, genre and age of Spanish-Chinese literary translation. The corpus of the study deals with the literary work Platero and I and its eight Chinese versions. First of all, based on the text analysis model, a textual analysis on Platero and I was carried out from three main factors and the twelve of the second degree: the literary genre (language, structure, arguments), the literary figures (appearance of the protagonists, character of the protagonists, appearance of the secondary figures, character of the secondary figures) and the implicit meanings (aesthetic style, sentiments, attitude of the author to life, thoughts and creative intention), to determine the key elements that should be transferred in translations. When finishing the study on the original work, a contrastive analysis of the techniques used in the eight translated texts was carried out: a random selection of Platero and I was made to extract a sentence (the choice was made following the twelve factors mentioned above). The original selected sentence and its three Chinese versions (translated by different techniques) were analyzed, the last ones were chosen among the eight translations. This analysis took the twelve procedures of the classification model of translation techniques as a reference. A total of 62 original sentences were analyzed with their three respective translations, which constructed the fundamental part of the questionnaire of the experiment. After determining the fundamental part of the questionnaire, a grouping was carried out on the respondents. I turned to the three factors (level of education, gender and age) as parameters for grouping the recipients of the translations, that is, in total there were three groups of readers, each group had two secondary groups containing 20-30 people respectively. After determining the questionnaire and the respondents, the survey was carried out among the individuals. Based on the result, I performed an analysis of the twelve techniques among different readers through the three factors that influenced their expectations. Through this analysis, it has been confirmed the existence of a relationship between the level of education and the age of Chinese recipients and the taste for the techniques. The relationship is: to a higher degree of education and to a greater age are expected procedures of translation closer to the original text. It is also noted that until now, in the Chinese reception techniques that reject the linguistic and cultural characteristics of the source language, change the form, content and situation of the original text and have a greater degree of intervention of the translator occupy a popular place in the field of literary translation.

Traditionnellement, cette articulation est pensée à partir du corps propre constituant et originaire, ce qui revient en un sens à maintenir la figure du Sujet, et, corrélativement, à voir la technique comme simple instrument qui prolonge ou modifie son pouvoir. Fondée dans le primat classique de la conscience et de la temporalité, cette voie ne permet pas de penser l'entrelacement de la technique et du corps. Car le corps, d'emblée spatial, ne peut être saisi en termes de synthèse temporelle. Dès lors, l'entrelacement doit être pensé à travers la spatialité, comme le lieu même de la constitution du corps. The intertwining between technics and the living body, such is the question addressed by the profusion of technical devices. Traditionally, this articulation is conceived on the basis of the lived body, seen as original and constitutive. This perpetuates to some extent the figure of Subject, and, correlatively, views technics as a mere instrument prolonging its power. Grounded in the traditional primacy of consciousness and temporality, this approach does not conceptualize the intertwining between technics and body. The body, intrinsically spatial, cannot be understood in terms of temporal synthesis alone ; the intertwining should be approached through the spatiality, as the very place of the constitution of the body. Technics play here an essential role; it is not a mere modification of the original lived-body by an instrument in-hand, but rather the organisation of the body (as a power of action, furthermore as a sensibility) by the technics already-there

Nous nous proposons ici d’effectuer une lecture originale d’un mythe moderne, celui du transhumanisme qui nous prédit le dépassement d’Homo sapiens par une nouvelle espèce, le posthumain. Il s’agit d’un mythe qui a traversé le XX° siècle en s’adaptant à ses changements pour se retrouver au début du XXI° siècle entre les mains des géants d’Internet, cet outil incontournable de notre époque à partir duquel il participe pleinement à la refonte des mentalités et des valeurs sur lesquelles se fondent nos sociétés modernes. C’est cette influence discrète mais efficace de l’idéal transhumaniste dans nos vies quotidiennes que nous nous proposons d’étudier ici comme le paradigme de la création du sujet postmoderne dont nous poserons la naissance arbitraire au cours des premières opérations des transsexuels dans les années 1950, et dont les caractéristiques qui nous intéresserons principalement ici sont la fluidité du corps et de l’identité. Nous rencontrerons un sujet sous l’influence du discours de la science au carrefour de l’infiltration de plus en plus large de nos sociétés par ce qui est devenu la technoscience médicale d’une part et l’informatisation du monde d’autre part, deux phénomènes sur lesquels s’appuie largement l’idéologie transhumaniste d’un « homme augmenté » qui pourrait bien de fait s’en voir surtout diminué
We propose here to make an original reading of a modern myth, that of transhumanism that predicts the overtaking of Homo sapiens by a new species, the posthuman. It is a myth that crossed the twentieth century by adapting to its changes to meet at the beginning of the twenty-first century in the hands of Internet giants, this essential tool of our time from which it participate fully in the overhaul of the mentalities and values on which our modern societies are based. It is this discreet but effective influence of the transhumanistic ideal in our daily lives that we propose to study here as the paradigm of the creation of the postmodern subject, whose arbitrary birth we will pose during the first transsexual operations in the years to come. 1950, and whose characteristics that will interest us mainly here are the fluidity of the body and identity. We will meet a subject under the influence of the discourse of science at the crossroads of the increasingly large infiltration of our societies by what has become medical technoscience on the one hand and the computerization of the world on the other hand, two phenomena on which largely relies the transhumanist ideology of an « augmented man » who could very well be particularly diminished

L'autoradiographie est une technique couramment employee dans les differents domaines des sciences de la vie, outil courant de la biologie clinique et des biotechnologies. Elle permet la visualisation de la distribution spatiale et en intensite d'une substance radiomarquee. Le marqueur utilise est un radioisotope emetteur beta. L'image se forme sur le detecteur radiosensible impressionne par l'emission radioactive de l'atome marqueur. Il a demontre que le film radiographique conventionnellement utilise comme detecteur pouvait etre remplace par une plaque thermoluminescente (sulfate de calcium dope dysprosium depose sur kapton). L'avantage de ce detecteur, par rapport au film radiographique reside dans une meilleure sensibilite (dans un rapport de 10 a 100) et une dynamique superieure (typiquement de l'ordre de cinq decades)

Mckenzie), la premiere partie restitue les circonstances de la publication dejulie et analyse les textes publicitaires qui l'ont annoncee. La deuxieme s'attache a des objets paratextuels compris dans l'espace meme du livre et a leur retentissement sur la lecture du texte. This thesis deals with the first of jean-jacques rousseau's novel julie ou la nouvlle heloise (1761) and studies the way our interpretation of a text can be influenced by the many differents types of textual (title, prefaces, footnotes. . . ) or material (format, paper, typography. . . ) elements that accompany or <> it. The introduction demosntrates the ne cessity of a pluri-subjects - book history, << paratextual >> studies. . . - approach to texts. The first two parts show how rousseau wanted to control not only the writing of his text but also the making of the book which carried it and which was conceived according to a litterary project. The third part proves that rousseau devised the prefaces and footnotes to his novel in order to disturb the reader and to constrain him to think by himself. The fourth and last part first of all brings to light rousseau's conception of book and reading, then tests the validity of the theorical elemen ts thus obtained by applying them to the rest of the paratextual objects present in the first editions of julie : plates , table of contents. . . The conclusion insists on the necessity to elaborate a <> : if rousseau is probably, with his novel, the most meaningful exemple of a writer implication into what is nowadays usually considered as a pure publisher concern, many of his contemporaries - voltaire, retif de la bretonne, beaumarchais, bernardin de saint pierre. . . - did expres the interest they took in the material dimension of a book conceived as capable to influence the meaning of the text it carries; that is to say as a litterary object

Abstract:
Dans une premiere partie, c'est l'unite de structure qu'une etude systematique des textes s'efforce de faire apparaitre. A partir des recherches des formalistes, ce travail s'attache a proposer les bases methodologiques permettant une analyse en profondeur de la syntaxe narrative des premiers contes, ceux de bestiario (1951). La deuxieme partie prolonge cette premiere approche en replacant chaque texte dans son contexte narratif et litteraire. Elle s'appuie sur les contes de la phase intermediaire, regroupes en 1970 en un seul volume : relatos, auxquels sont joints octaedro et alguien que anda por ahi, parus en 1975 et 1977. Elle presente de facon synthetique le fonctionnement narratif des contes en soulignant la place de la voix narrative, l'importance du contenu thematique et le role des traits lexicosemantiques (le jeu des contaminations qui investit les contes). Enfin texte et contexte prennent tout leur sens par la mise en evidence des relations qui se tissent avec l'ensemble des reseaux signifiants, l'intertexte et le hors-texte, en particulier dans les recueils de la derniere phase, queremos tanto a glenda et deshoras. Cette 3eme partie deborde le cadre strict des contes pour s'interesser aux conditions de leur production et a leur adequation a la societe qui les a engendres. Cette demarche exige du lecteur une participation active selon des perspectives multiples. La sollicitation constante a laquelle il est soumis et la subversion de la relation ecrivain lecteur qu'elle represente, nous conduisent a qualifier cette ecriture des contes de vertigineuse
First, a systematic study of texts based on formalists' research shows the unity of structure of the texts. This part offers a methodological basis which allows a deep analysis of the narrative syntax of bestiario's short stories. The second part is an extension of this first approach, considering each text in its narrative and literary context. It is based on the stories of the middle phase that cortazar brought together in a single volume relatos, with the addition of octaedro and alguien que anda por ahi. It presents synthetically the narrative process, the importance of thematics and the lexico-semantical characteristics (contaminations). Finally, text and context take their meaning from their interrelations with all the levels of significance, the intertextuality and the off-textualite, principally in the stories of the final phase queremos tanto a glenda and deshoras. This third part exceeds the strict limits of the short stories and concernes the conditions of their production, and adequacy to the society who created them. This process requires an active participation of the reader from multiple perspectives. This constant requirement and the subversion of the reader writer's relationship, explain our qualification of short stories as a vertiginous writing

Abstract:
The development of fluid mechanics is briefly reviewed and the importance of fluid flows to heat and mass transport in nature as well as in science and engineering is outlined. The early theoretical developments are explained and it is indicated that the basic equations were already available at the end of the 18th century. Methods to solve these equations for engineering flows were not, however, developed until the second half of the 20th century. This was an important period for fluid flow research during which all the experimental fluid mechanics methods, particularly the optical methods, available today were also developed. The same is true for all the numerical methods that are used very successfully nowadays to solve scientific and engineering fluid flow problems. The Institute of Fluid Mechanics at the University of Erlangen-Nu¨rnberg has contributed extensively to these developments.

The education of engineers largely relies on traditional classroom teaching in which a teacher instructs a subject using a variety of techniques ranging from the traditional blackboard (nowadays also whiteboard), over overhead to computer-based presentations. In order to deepen knowledge and get hands-on experience, students are often given practical exercises or case studies to perform, be it individually or in group in the form of a seminar. It is experienced that black- (or white) board based lectures are having an advantage over overheads / slide shows as knowledge is built up instantaneously at a natural pace rather than confronting students with pages of prepared material. The present paper presents a new technique herein referred to as “podcasted whiteboard lectures” in which lectures are given in a traditional lecture hall setup but with having the teacher lecturing by means of an electronic whiteboard. A key advantage of this technique is that it can be recorded and made available to students afterwards, which is here done using podcasting. It is experienced that the technique is very efficient for maximizing the students’ learning experience as one is given the possibility to follow a subject ubiquitous and at preferred pace. Another advantage is that animations and simulations can be integrated right into the lecture and into the same medium used for lecturing. The technique is thereby equally applicable to campus as well as distance-based teaching.

Abstract:
The article deals with the peculiarities of the use of verbal, visual and practical methods in the distance learning of professional practically-oriented discipline «Radioproduction», are offered new techniques for the use of these methods during the presentation of theoretical material and the creation of a media product (audiovisual content), due to the acquisition of a specialty in conditions online. It is proved that in distance learning, this discipline is inadmissible to absolutize the significance of verbal methods (narrative, explanation, conversation, discussion, lecture) and that all varieties of verbal methods require the intensification of an interactive factor. Based on its own experience, it has been demonstrated, as with the help of various educational platforms, the most appropriate use of visual learning methods. Particular attention is paid to the fact that practical teaching methods based on professional activities of students acquire priority in their professional training. It has been established that only when parity application of new receptions of verbal, visual and practical methods of online learning may have a proper pedagogical effect and will ensure the qualitative acquisition of the specialty. Training methods – verbal, visual, practical – are intended to provide all levels of assimilation of knowledge and skills to promote the full master of the radiojournalist specialist.
