Abstract:
Machine Learning techniques and applications have lately gained a lot of interest in many areas, including spheres of arithmetic, finances, engineering, dialectology, and a lot more. This is owing to the upwelling of ground-breaking and sophisticated machine learning procedures to exceedingly multifaceted complications along with the prevailing advances in high speed computing. Numerous usages of Machine learning in daily life include pattern recognition, automation, data processing and analysis, and so on. The Petroleum industry is not lagging behind also. On the contrary, machine learning approaches have lately been applied to enhance production, forecast recoverable hydrocarbons, augment well placement by means of pattern recognition, optimize hydraulic fracture design, and to help in reservoir characterization. In this paper, three different machine learning models were trained and utilized to explore the feasibility of forecasting pore pressure of a well. The machine learning algorithms include, Simple Linear Regression, Decision Stump and Multilayer Perceptron (ANN). The predictive accuracies of the algorithm was analyzed using statistical measures. Five (5) parameters were utilized as input variables in the models: hydrostatic pressure, overburden pressure, observed and normal sonic velocities and pore pressure. 80% of the data was used in training while the remaining 20% was used for testing of the models. A sensitivity analysis of the five variable was conducted so as to identify correlations of the variables. Results of the sensitivity analysis revealed that both hydrostatic and overburden pressures appear to have the strongest correlation with pore pressure (0.766) and closely followed by normal compacted sonic velocity (0.753). Meanwhile, observed sonic velocity has the least correlation (0.046). The models were appraised by determining their Relative Absolute Errors. Results indicate that Multilayer Perceptron has the best prediction and least Relative Absolute Error of 5.77%. While the Decision Stump model had a Relative absolute error of 54.41%. The Simple Linear Regression had a relative absolute error of 67.93%. By and large, all three models appear to be suitable for modeling pore pressure but the Multilayer Perceptron is the most accurate.

Abstract:
Research studies dedicated to the application of blended learning in modern linguistics are on the rise. With the interdisciplinary nature of science and curricula, researchers are combining traditional methods with contemporary digital sources and text processing tools. Regardless of the many methods and approaches recommended, there is no set methodology widely proven to be successful, due to different student profiles, language competences and the learning environment. This paper presents the results of the blended learning approach taken at the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor. The traditional teaching approach has been combined with genre and discourse knowledge, with the support of digital and internet tools. The goal of the research is to demonstrate that students of the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) course may benefit from genre- and linguistics-based knowledge applied in the technical and digital environment. Moreover, it is argued that a corpus- and genre-based approach to teaching professional genres provides an opportunity to enrich ESP classes. This approach has primarily proved to be beneficial in teaching technical and engineering genres. Language precision is the essence of effective language competence.

Abstract:
Some experts try to develop a variety of conceptual perspectives to find the best and most efficient learning approach design. Likewise, Muslim scholars also seem to be trying to contribute to the development of learning approaches. This article attempts to reveal the idea of Imam Al Ghozal as an Islamic scholar's perspective. The focus studied is the content of the book ayyuhā al-walad fī nasīhati al-muta'allimīn wa maw'izatihim liya'lamū wa yumayyizū 'ilman nāfi'an min gayrihi and efforts to formulate the perspective learning approach of the book. The study was carried out with a library research approach with content analysis techniques. The findings of the study provide a conclusion that the formulation of a learning approach needs to be directed at strengthening general science and religion in a balanced way. Not only strengthening religious scholarship, al Ghozali's ideas in the book studied emphasize the theocentric transformation to theo-anthrophocentric in religious learning.

Abstract:
Most of the physics done in schools is more about learning on knowledge and understanding of the material, without developing problem-solving skills and applying concepts in real-life contexts. Students still often use the plug & chug and memory-based approach in solving physical problems. It causes students to be able to solve simple quantitative issues but cannot solve more complex issues. This study aims to produce mobile learning with a feasible and practical STEM approach for physics lessons. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the Alessi and Trollip model. The model consists of three stages of development, namely planning, design, and development. The methods used to collect data are interviews and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The technique used to analyze the information is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on trials conducted by learning design experts, media experts, and materials experts and direct effectiveness tests using products with tangible goals. It was found that mobile learning applications with a STEM approach were feasible and effective in physical learning. Combining STEM approaches and problem-based learning models with mobile learning can be one of the suitable lessons for making. This study indicates that the development of cross-platform mobile learning applications with a STEM approach is feasible and effective in learning physics.

Abstract:
The Corona Covid-19 Pandemic revealed a deep deficiency in the current e-learning system. Many of the current e-Learning schemas have pursued their goals in conventional ways, albeit transferring the lecture hall to an online medium presentation. In essence, there had been little innovation above traditional classroom lecturing. In this paper, we propose a novel approach aimed at optimizing the learning outcomes of learning per student. Namely, we propose Iterative and Interactive e-Learning Platform, where the main focus is shifted towards the learner, i.e., the student. The role of the instructor is directed more towards the construction and presentation of interactive education material in a manner to enable the learner to acquire the minimum required knowledge and to achieve the intended outcomes in the most effective manner. Therefore, the proposed model is a knowledge-acquisition based learning management system (KA-LMS). Unlike the traditional ways of classroom or online lecturing, a student using KA-LMS is expected to achieve a quality of learning, never before achieved via standard offline or online pedagogical methodologies. The Iterative and Interactive KA-LMS is sought to enable various academic institutions to achieve quality standards in both online and on premise setup, thus avoiding the calamities of pandemics, such as the one imposed by the Corona Covid-19. The proposed KA-LMS will enable graduates to achieve the required skills and knowledge, which allow them to compete in a more vigorous and competitive marketplace at the local and global levels. The proposed KA-LMS has the inherent capability to monitor and control the progress of the learner entity based on the quantity and quality of the knowledge acquired by the learner. The proposed model will be tested in school and college environments, with real education subjects.

Abstract:
Students’ passive learning has motivated educators constantly to seek innovative ways to encourage students and improve their learning outcomes. Project-Based Learning (PBL) may be a particularly productive method for transforming practice in ways that support students learning. However, the implementation of PBL is challenging because it requires substantial change to teaching and assessment. The purpose of this paper is to explore new assessment methods that are needed in assessing students’ performance in PBL and how teachers can employ these methods in their practices. The insights provided by Project-Based Learning approach are essential for promoting effective teaching and learning. PBL provides students with an opportunity to engage in the learning process by working collaboratively to solve real-world problem. Moreover, PBL offers the potential to help students become reflective and flexible thinkers who can use knowledge to take an action. This paper emphasizes that the formative approach should be integrated throughout the assessment process, but it should be balanced with observation and tests or tasks in order to provide comprehensive information about student progress and outcomes. Sustained project-based learning is not a simple task for teachers, therefore, teachers need to be involved in professional development programs to get more understanding about what and how assessment might be realized in the project-based approach.
