Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to create an animation-based learning media of corrosion processes in the subject of corrosion and coating. The media produced is a learning media program in the form of .swf file that can be directly installed and accessed on personal computer. This development research (R&D) was started with concept exploration to find out the necessary product model, followed by its development through many test steps (expert judgment, limited test, and application test) and correction procedure until the proper product was determined. The last step was an experimental process to validate the product. The research has result an animation-based interactive media which has good criteria according to the media expert judgment value of 78.3 %, students’ response of 83.0 % and subject matter expert judgment value of 89.0 %. Validity test show that the media has a significant effect to increase a number of students who reach minimum standard competency.

Abstract:
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik kelas X SMAN 3 Makassar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research And Developement) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan, meliputi: Analysis, Design, Developement, Implementasion, dan Evaluation. Bahan Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik ini dikembangkan dengan berbantuan aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMAN 3 Makassar. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, lembar obserbasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar aktivitas peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,81 (sangat valid). praktis rata-rata lembar obserbasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 1,68 dengan kategori terlaksana seluruhnya, analisis angket respon guru sebesar 89,72% dengan kategori sangat positif dan analisis angket respon peserta didik sebesar 88,58% dengan kategori sangat positif. Efektif, dengan rata-rata persentase lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran sebesar 4,375, rata-rata persentase lembar aktivitas peserta didik adalah 81%, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebesar 80%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan dan pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik kelas X SMAN 3 Makassar telah memenuhi kategori valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pengembangan bahan ajar pendekatan Cooperative Learning Tipe Turnamen siswa pada kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Belanti Barat. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Developement). Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Belanti Barat dan Penyebaran di SDN 13 Lolong sebanyak 25 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba Kevalitan dapat dilhat dari validasi isi, bahasa, penyajian, kegrafikaan dan RPP, keseluruhan 4.24 dengan kategori sangat valid. Pratikalitas bahan ajar dilihat dari respon pendidik, 84 % respon peserta didik 80 % sedangkan efektifitas bahan ajar 96%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar valid, praktis dan efektif pada kelas IV SD.

<p><em>Problems faced by students in understanding the subject of Educational Policy Analysis are: difficulties in identifying the strategic educational issues and low understanding of material. There are two problems in this research, they are: first, how to design Educational Policy Analysis module; second, can using the module improve student learning. This study uses Research and Developement (R&amp;D) method. The subjects of this study are students who take the subject of Educational Policy Analysis. The techniques of data collecting used are observation, questionnaire and interview. Data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative description by the expert judgment. The result shows that using module in learning can improve the quality of student learning. Based on the validation, using the Educational Policy Analysis module improves the quality of learning. Based on the results of t test, t count&gt;t table (3.426&gt; 2.021), with an error rate of 0,000%.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Masalah yang dihadapi para mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan yaitu kesulitan menentukan isu-isu strategis dalam pendidikan dan rendahnya daya serap mahasiswa terhadap materi. Penelitian ini mempunyai dua tujuan, pertama: bagaimana desain modul Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan, <em>kedua:</em> apakah belajar dengan modul dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode <em>Research and developement (R&amp;D)</em>. Subjek penelitiannya ialah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis menggunakan deskripsi ahli validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan modul dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, modul Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk dan mengetahui kelayakan e-modul berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir analisis pada materi gelombang bunyi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan 4D yang dibatasi menjadi 3D yaitu define, design, dan development. Tahap define terdiri atas merancang instrumen untuk tahap define, analisis RPP, analisis review dokumen modul dan analisis kebutuhan pengembangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket kebutuhan guru di 3 sekolah tersebut didapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 94% dengan kategori “sangat setuju”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil yang didapat melalui penyebaran angket kebutuhan siswa dan guru tersebut bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa dan guru di 3 sekolah tersebut. Tahap design terdiri atas rancangan e-modul dan rancangan instrumen untuk mengevaluasi e-modul. Tahap development terdiri atas pengembangan instrumen untuk mengevaluasi e-modul, validasi ahli serta revisi berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan uji keterbacaan produk. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli terhadap produk akhir E-modul yang dihasilkan diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata pada aspek kelayakan isi adalah 83,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek penyajian sebesar 98,4% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek penggunaan bahasa sebesar 89,2% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan aspek media sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 89,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk, diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata pada aspek isi adalah 90,9% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek kebahasaan sebesar 90,2% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek penyajian sebesar 88,8% dengan kategori sangat layak dan aspek media sebesar 91,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji keterbacaan yang telah dilakukan oleh ahli dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-modul yang dikembangkan sudah “sangat layak” untuk dilanjutkan pada uji coba lapangan. Kata kunci: Penelitian dan Pengembangan, E-modul, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Kemampuan Berpikir Analisis ABSTRACT This research was a research and developement (R&D) that aimed to produce and determine the feasibility of e-modules based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to practice analytical thingking skills on sound wave material. The development model which is limited to 3D, namely define, design and developement. The define stage consisted of designing instruments for the define stage, RPP analysis and developement needs analysis. Based on the results of the quesionnaire analysis of teacher needed in the 3 school, an average percentage of 94% was obtained in the “strongly agree” category. So it can be concluded that based on the results obtained throught the distribution of the quesionnaire on the needs og students and teacher in the 3 school. The design stage consisted of the e-module. The developement stage consisted of developing instruments to evaluate e-modules, expert validation and product readability tests. Based on the results of expert validation of the resulting e-module final product, the percentage of the average score on the content feasibility aspect was 83,5% with a very decent category, the presentation aspect is 98,4% with a very decent category, the language use aspect is 89,2% in the very decent category, and the media aspect of 87,5% in the very decent category, with an overall average score of 89,6% in the very decent category. Based on the results of the product readability test, the percentage of the average score on the content aspect was 90,9% in the very feasible category, the linguistic aspect was 90,2% in the very feasible category, the presentation aspect was 88,8% in the very feasible category and the media by 91,6% with a very decent category. Based on the results validation and readability tests that is carry out by experts, it can be conclude that the developed e-module is a “very feasible“ to be continue for field trials. Abstract:
The purpose of this research are to develop macromedia flash-based mathematics learning media for cartesian coordinate material for class VIII SMPN 19 Mataram. Macromedia flash-based learning media is an audio-visual media presented in the form of software consisting of basic competencies, learning objectives, materials and quizzes. This development aims to overcome the weaknesses in the learning process that have occurred due to the lack of use of media in classroom, besides that it can also assist students in learning the concept of cartesian coordinates, especially in visualizing the objects in the material. The research methodology used in developing this learning media is 4D (Define, Design, Developement, Dissemination). Data collection techniques using interview guidelines and questionnaires. The result of this research is a software product of learning media for cartesian coordinates based on macromedia flash in the CD form. The product has been declared valid with good criteria by 4 validators. Based on the limited trial, it is known that the response of class VIII students of SMPN 19 Mataram that use the macromedia flash-based learning media cartesian coordinate is good.

Abstract:
The objective of this research was to develope physics learning materials based on Brain-Based Learningthat are valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s critical thinking skills in fluid matter. The learning materials development using 4D development model and have been tested on 10th grade students of The Senior High School of 1 Kopang, academic year 2016/2017, with one group pre-test post-test design trial development research. Data collection methods used were questionnaires validity, tests and observation, whereas data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results were showed several findings: physics learning materials developed had an average score of validity categorized valid, based on the implementation of the lesson plan is obtained that can be done well, especially on elaboration step. The response was very positive towards learning students, critical categorized for student’s critical thinking skills after the trial of physics materials were develop. Based on the results of this trial can be concluded that developement of physics learning material was valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s critical thinking skills.

The present paper attempts to investigate the developement of existential competence within the framework of the intercultural approach to foreign language teaching. The main dimension of this approach to be explored is the application of the semantic analysis of key words for each culture designating values. To better understand the theoretical background of the intercultural competence its main aspects will be analyzed, i.e. alterity, representation, and identity. The analysis will especially include the process of discovering the real meaning of wordswithin their cultural background. Such a reflective approach to teaching and learning foreign languages allows the students to change their ethical attitude towards foreign cultures as well as their own culture.

In propose, to solve all the problemes appear, the writer make a Management Trainee Developement Application System of Software Engineering Laboratory at Faculty of System Computer Engineering gave a complete information about the training and the registration in software engineering laboratory. Management Trainee Application of Software Engineering Laboratory at Faculty of System Computer Engineering is an application based on website, made by using the program language PHP in scope Framework Code Igniter, and also MySQL for database. The developement methode used the waterfall methode, while designing the application used the UML modele. The result from this application is the realization an application based on website which is abble to manage the trainee data in software engineering laboratory, for example to manage the participant training data, the list of training data, the time schedule training data, admin data, the participant traininh data along the completed training History data.

Abstract:
[Title: Development of Flash Multimedia on Energy Materials to Improve Student Learning Motivation]. This study aims to develop flash multimedia on energy materials to improve student learning motivation. This study is a development research with ADDIE model. Flash multimedia validation involves 2 validators (media experts and media design experts). Validation results show on the aspect of the material with a score of 3.6 with the category "high validity" and the media aspect with a score of 3.4 with the category "high validity". The flash multimedia implementation (trial run) conducted on the 28 students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Lenangguar, Sumbawa. The results of the implementation showed the students 'motivation before using flash media with the average score of 2.47 with the category "less agree", and after using flash media with average score 3.41 with category "very agree". So it show an increase of student learning motivation. Thus the developement of flash media have eligibility to be used as a medium in learning physics of energy subject matter

Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan produk berupa Game ritual tumpe untuk peserta didik SMP Kelas VII. Penelitian menggunakan metode research and developement (R & D) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Penelitian mengacu pada model 4D: define (mendefinisikan), design (mendesain), develop (mengembangkan) dan disseminate (menyebarluaskan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid atau memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Kategori kelayakan yang diperoleh dari ahli media dan juga guru adalah sangat valid. Implementasi media pembelajaran di dalam kelas dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen, menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Gain score yang diperoleh pada saat pretest dan posttes pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Nilai gain score kelas eksperimen diperoleh 0,67 dan kelas kontrol 0,54 dengan kategori sedang. Efektivitas pembelajaran dilakukan dengan uji Manova dengan perolehan nilai sig. sebesar 0.000 (<0.05). Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sains di kelas VII SMP. Develop critical thinking skills with tumpe ritual games AbstractThe aim of this study was to develop product in the form of a Tumpe Ritual Game for Class VII junior high school students. The research used the research and developement (R & D) method developed by Thiagarajan. The research refers to the 4D model: define, design, develop and disseminate. The result of the study indicates that learning media developed is valid or meet the eligibility criteria. The feasibility category obtained from media experts and also the teacher is highly valid. The implementation of learning media in the classroom can increase students' active participation so that it has an impact on improving critical thinking skill. This type of research uses quasi-experimental, using the control class and the experimental class. Gain scores obtained at the pre-test and post-test in the experimental class showed significant differences. The gain score of experimental class was 0.67 and the control class was 0.54 with the medium category. The effectiveness of learning was done by Manova test with the acquisition of sig values. amounting to 0,000 (<0.05). These condition indicated that the media developed was valid, practical and effective to be used in the process of learning science in class VII SMP.

Abstract:
We propose an optimization framework for market-making in a limit order book, based on the theory of stochastic approximation. The idea is to take advantage of the iterative nature of the process of updating bid and ask quotes in order to make the algorithm optimize its strategy on a trial-and-error basis (i.e., online learning) using a variation of the stochastic gradient-descent algorithm. An advantage of this approach is that the exploration of the system by the algorithm is performed in run-time, so explicit specifications of price dynamics are not necessary, as is the case in the stochastic-control approach [(Gueant et al., 2013, Dealing with the Inventory Risk: A Solution to the Market Making Problem, Mathematics and Financial Economics 7(4), 477–507)]. For price/liquidity modeling, we consider a discrete-time variant of the Avellaneda–Stoikov model [(Avellaneda, M. and S. Stoikov, 2008, Liquidation in Limit Order Books with Controlled Intensity, Mathematical Finance 24(4), 627–650)] similar to its developent in the paper of Laruelle et al. [(Laruelle et al., 2013, Optimal Posting Price of Limit Orders: Learning by trading, Mathematics and Financial Economics 7(3), 359–403)] in the context of optimal liquidation tactics. Our aim is to set the ground for more advanced reinforcement learning techniques and to argue that the rationale of our method is generic enough to be extended to other classes of trading problems besides market-making.

The ability of modern industrial work must be mastered by vocational engineering students, therefore it is important to develop learning tools that are oriented to the fourth industry. This study assesses the development of mechatronics learning tools that are arranged based on the abilities that must be possessed by students to work in the fourth industrial era using the IDI model. Data was collected from the validity, practicality and effectiveness tests on the programmed subjects in 2019. Learning activities carried out during 16 meetings to produce a smart factory (prototype). Analysis shows that learning tools are developedit is valid, then the response of teaching staff shows the criteria are very practical and based on the response of students also in the category of very practical. The findings, an increase in students' understanding of the value of the end of the semester, but they have to struggle even more to obtain more optimal results. Besides, the learning device also forms the general ability of the learner, the learning communicative, collaborative, innovative, creative, leadership and entrepreneurship that observed during the process of learning to walk

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain penelitian adalah Research and Developement (R&D) menggunakan Model Hannafin and Peck. Model tersebut terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahapan analisis kebutuhan, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan dan implementasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Pekalongan Lampung Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi mobile learning berbasis android pada materi sepak bola efektif untuk mencapai respon siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan presentase hasil capaian KKM siswa sebelum menggunakan aplikasi 15%, sedangkan setelah menggunakan aplikasi mengalami peningkatan capaian KKM sebesar 69,5% atau meningkat dengan capaian 54,5%, sehingga hasil respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning berbasis android untuk materi sepak bola menarik dan mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan kelayakan produk aplikasi mobile learning layak digunakan, hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil presentase validasi uji ahli materi diperoleh 89,77%, hasil validasi media diperoleh 93,75%, dan hasil validasi desain diperoleh 90,9%.

A Research developement of Teaching and Learning Science materials has been done in Elementary School, using Cooperative Sripts with 4D model modification and aimed to increase the students’ science concept understanding and communication skill at Elementary school main subject humans’ respiration system. Data was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative description. The research appeared that the validation of learning and teaching materials is valid, the learning implementation is good (3.97), active student centered activity. The result of student understanding outcomes were analyzed by N-gain metode shows improvement of The Students’ scince concept understanding (0.65) as well communication skill (3.8) along with students’ affective asessment outcomes show good result (3.9). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran valid, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran baik (3.97), kegiatan berpusat pada murid aktif. Hasil tes pemahaman konsep siswa dianalisis dengan N-gain menunjukkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa meningkat (0.65) begitu pula dengan keterampilan berkomunikasi (3.8) sejalan dengan hasil penilaian afektif siswa menunjukkan hasil yang baik (3.9). Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model Cooperative Scripts layak, dapat meningkatkan dan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA dan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, memvalidasi, mengujicoba, menguji efektivitas dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap produk aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis android dengan pembelajaran kontekstual khususnya pada materi kegiatan ekonomi mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu research and developement dengan model pengembangan yaitu 4-D. Hasil validasi dari ahli menunjukan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 92% dari ahli materi dan 91% dari ahli media. Jika dikualifikasikan memiliki kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukan bahwa pengguna merasa terarik dan termotivasi untuk belajar menggunakan media dengan respon yang diberikan pengguna yaitu sebesar 96% dari siswa dan 95% dari guru mengartikan bahwa produk sangat layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran. The steps in analyzing data were done by doing collection, reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions of data. The results show that the factors that influence students' interest in dance self-development activity in SMP Negeri 9 Payakumbuh are found internally and externally. Internal factors are such as the lack of attention of the Students in dance self-development, the students' attitudes tend to be low, the ability of students overally are very good and the students’ motivation are also very good. Meanwhile, external factors include the teacher, infrastructures and the learning method. The Techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data display, and taking the conclusion. The Triangulation done to explain the validity of the data using source of triangulation.The results of the research indicate that: 1) the Implementation consept of multiple intelligences at learning center in education for early age Dellia creative school is done in three stages: (a) planning includes making RKH (daily lesson plan) and RKM (weekly lesson plan), but the planning itself is not written in RKH (daily lesson plan), the kinds of multiple intelligence development; (B) the implementation includes four footholds: first is footholds of the main environmental, second is the pre-game experience, third is the current playing ground and the last is foothold of the after-play experience. The research aimed to outline the features of “new normal” communication behavior of young military leaders due to the COVID-19 pandemic influence. To study this critical problem we used some general scientific and empirical methods like literature analysis, synthesis and theoretical modelling, pedagogical experience, statistical data processing. The author found that the changes include development of closed and indirect forms, introduction of new lexical, grammatical, and stylistic units, fake information spread, misuse of information and communication technologies (ICT), periodical refusal to message with non-verbal tools. The findings show that professional discourse among young military leaders changes fast because of the COVID-19 pandemic. And the transformations involve different communication behavior, the more significant role of leaders in study group especially in the context of peer-to-peer learning, critical thinking development, independent production and comprehension of professional utterances, higher responsibility of a speaker. The experiment demonstrates that military officers and cadets are likely to cope with new “rules of the game” and they continue to carry out security tasks prioritizing discipline, considerable motivation, psychological readiness to high-risk conditions and adaptability to counteract dramatic challenges. The article is one of the early researches reviewing the features of young military leaders’ discourse and describing its current transformations. The research can contribute to developement of recommendations for professional discourse improvements and, consequently, to enhance the efficiency of professional activities of military officers.

The background of this research is the unavailability of learning model of basic technique technique of O'Brien style force that integrated in skill program based on biomechanics study which is used as a reference to build the basic technique skill of the O'Brien style force among students. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of basic-style technique of rejecting the O'Brien-style shot put based on biomechanical studies for beginner levels, including basic prefix technique, glide, final stage, repulsion, further motion and repulsion performance of O'Brien style, all of which arranged in a medium that is easily accessible whenever, by anyone and anywhere, especially in SMK Negeri 1 Kalijambe Sragen .The research method used is "Reasearch and Developement" approach. "Preliminary studies show that 43.0% of respondents considered that the O'Brien style was very important to be developed with a model of skill-based exercise based on biomechanics, as many as 40.0% ressponden stated that it is important to be developed with biomechanics based learning media. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to develop the learning media of the O'Brien style-based training skills based on biomechanical studies.Development of media starts from the design of the storyboard and script form that will be used as media. The design of this model is called the draft model. Draft models that have been prepared are reviewed by the multimedia expert and the O'Brien style expert to get the product's validity. A total of 78.24% of experts declare a viable product with some input. In small groups with n = 6, earned value 72.2% was obtained or valid enough to be tested in large groups. In the large group test with n = 12,values obtained 70.83% or quite feasible to be tested in the field.In the field test, experimental group was prepared with treatment according to media and control group with free treatment. From result of counting of significance test can be interpreted that result of count refuse Ho with count value far above t table value. The results of the basic technique skills of the O'Brien style force increased by 16.0% - 25.0% in the experimental group and 2.0% - 19.0% in the control group. Based on the results of calculating the difference in the final score increase after the final test, showed a greater score difference for the group given the treatment model of the exercise developed by the researcher.Thus it can be concluded that the use of skills-based learning media biomechanics on the model of learning style of O'Brien style can effectively improve the basic technique skills of the style force O'Brien.

The research method used is "Reasearch and Developement" approach. "This research is a research and development through preliminary stage, development of learning design, production, and product evaluation. After the production phase, then the initial product validation stage by media experts, academicians and practitioners. The evaluation results of media experts for the assessment component containing aspects of text, images / photos, sound audio, video obtained 61% of the total for the feasibility conclusion of the product. The results of the evaluation of academicians for the assessment component containing aspects of conformity, usefulness, security, and aspects of implementation are 85.71% of the total for the feasibility conclusion of the product. The results of the expert evaluation of practitioners for the assessment component containing aspects of conformity, usefulness, security, and the implementation aspect obtained 97.86% of the total for the feasibility conclusion of the product. The final percentage of all experts is 81.58% and it can be interpreted that the design of Adobe Flash Player based hand baseball technique technique can be tested in the next step. Small group test results for the assessment component that contains aspects of conformity, usefulness, security, and aspects of implementation obtained 71.25% of the overall for the feasibility of the conclusion of the product. The results of the large group test for the assessment component that contains aspects of conformity, usefulness, security, and the implementation aspect obtained 87.92% of the overall for the feasibility conclusion of the product. Based on the specified criteria it can be concluded that Adobe Flash Player's handmade basic ballast technique technique products are valid and usable. This is because the data results are stretched 80 - 100% for clarification of product feasibility percentage. The Clinic of Surgery took over the concept of clinical education from the Clinic of Therapy which was initiated by Johan Peter Frank (1745–1821) and Joseph Frank (1771–1842) 3 years earlier. They were the founders of Vilnius medical Society as well. The concept consisted of the integration of basic theoretical knowledge into clinical skills learning. The basis of clinical training was ward round teaching on patient’s bedside, round the clock duty in the Clinic, continuous observation of patients and taking part in autopsy. Further developments of the Clinic were related to the activities of surgical professors from Western Europe, as well as highly experienced local doctors who immediately started lecturing and operating patients. These were the creators, developers and cherishers of the Clinic: Jacque Briotet (1746–1819), Johan Andreas Lobenwein (1758–1820), Johan Friedrich Niszkowski (1774–1816), Jakób Szymkiewicz (1775–1818), Konstantin Porcijanka (1793–1841). Foundation and successful operation of the surgical clinic signified a higher level in the evolution of Lithuanian clinical medicine. New concept of teaching and scientific approach to the diagnosis and surgical treatment made the clinic comparable to the European innovative medical institutions of the 19th century. The effective activities and future prospects were roughly cut off by Russian tsarist policy in 1832.

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca siswa yang disebabkan kurangnya media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media komik serta mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan produk tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Developement menurut Sugiyono. Penelitian ini melibatkan 36 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji Paired Sample T-Test, dan uji N-Gain. Pengembangan media komik memperoleh penilaian ahli media sebesar 98,52% dan oleh ahli materi sebesar 90%. Rata-rata nilai siswa di kelas sebelum (pretest) menggunakan media komik adalah 53,61 dan rata-rata nilai sesudah (posttest) menggunakan media komik adalah 77,78. Persentase rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 66,67%. Media komik efektif digunakan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi membaca pemahaman untuk menentukan gagasan pokok dilihat dari hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test dengan thitung 11,59 dan ttabel 1,69. Data penghitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,54 dilihat dari selisih hasil pretest dan posttest dengan kriteria sedang. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komik layak dan efektif digunakan dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi membaca pemahaman untuk menentukan gagasan pokok serta bermanfaat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Abstract This research is motivated by the low reading skills of students due to the lack of Indonesian language learning media. This research development aims to produce comic media products and to determine the appropriateness and the effectiveness of these products. This research uses research development method according to the Sugiyono state. This research involved 36 grade IV elementary school students. This data analysis used descriptive statistics techniques, Paired Sample T-Test, and N-Gain test. The development of comic media obtained an assessment of media experts by 98.52% and by material experts by 90%. The average value of students in the class before (pretest) using comic media is 53.61 and the average value after (posttest) using comic media was 77.78. The average percentage of student’s learning outcomes increased by 66.67%. Comic media is effectively used in Indonesian subject matter in reading comprehension to determine the main ideas as seen from the results of the Paired Sample T-Test 11.59 of tcount and 1.69 ttable. The N-Gain calculation data was 0.54 seen from the difference between the pretest and posttest results with medium criteria. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the comic media is appropriate and effective to be used in Indonesian subjects reading comprehension material to determine the main ideas and useful for improved student’s reading skills.

Generally the entrepreneurship is the process of utilizing the allocated resources in such a way that it makes profit maximization without incurring any loses. The proposed study is an explorative on to measure the real of mindset of the small traders and factors influence the mind set for set up new business. To map mind set of entrepreneur, standard questionnaire has been used added 34 variables with the aid and advice of the expertise in this field followed by the well structured research methodology. Further, to carry out the study, descriptive statistics informed the data consistency and outlier of data and Cronbach’s Alpha score informed the data reliability and sensitivity of the added variables. In this context, the all hypothesis of the study rejected h ANOVA techniques. In the preliminary discuss It has been found that learning ability, problem solving ability/logical thinking, ability to analyze market, ability to manage complex tasks and ability to engage stakeholder’s factors are excellent whereas others factors such that curiosity, creation of value and ability to anticipate technology having lots of scope for further developemnt for influencing the mid set of entrepreneur. In contrary, multivariate analysis suggested that entrepreneurial mindset is not a one-dimensional concept but is made up of several “factors” and hence it is considered multi-dimensional factors for positively push forward the perception of entrepreneur mind. Finally, it is suggested that action to satisfy by curiosity rather than sit ideal, and creation of the value is possible for the care of the customer and stakeholders of the business. Through learning ability, the entrepreneurs modify existing knowledge, skill and behavior which positively influence the mindset of a person. It has been suggested that entrepreneurs solve their problems in adverse situation by applying problem solving ability/logical thinking’. Whereas ability analyze market help entrepreneur to collect and analyze market information, evaluate alternatives and make the most suit able decision that will suit the prevailing market conditions. Apart from that through multivariate analysis, it has been suggested that the small traders in odisha would like to give priority of the following components such that 1) problem solving ability/logical thinking, 2) learning ability, 3) creation of value, 4) ability to manage complex tasks, 5) ability to engage stakeholders, 6) ability to analyze market, 7) criosity and 8) ability to anticipate technology for better way manage their business.

This study aimed to identify: (1) the validity of the developed contextual learning based textbook (2) practicality of the developed contextual learning based textbook (3) effectiveness of the developed contextual learning based textbook to improve students’ critical and creative thinking ability. This study used developement research design by adopting ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study consisted of three stages: introduction, developement, and test of effetiveness. The validity result of textbook from 36 expert’s assessment items showed that 22 items were very suitable and 14 items were suitable. The textbook practicality was seen from checklist points achievement for contextual learning based textbook. The result of gain score analysis of students 'critical thinking ability was 0.769 or categorized as high, meaning that the use of contextual learning based textbook was effective to improve students' critical thinking ability. The result of gain score analysis of students 'creative thinking ability was 0.775 or categorized as high, meaning that the use of contextual learning based textbook was effective to improve students' creative thinking ability. This research is based on Indonesian language learning that has not been effective yet, so the result of learned is not optimal yet, to overcome this problem, the researcher developed crossword puzzle game. This development research aims to produce crossword puzzle products as well as know the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. This research used Research and Developement method developed by Borg and Gall. The subjects of this study are the students of class V which amounted to 34 students. Data analysis techniques used descriptive percentage and n-gain test. The results showed that the media of crossword puzzles is very feasible to use with the percentage of assessment 89.58%, material expert judgments of 88, 63%. The result of N-gain analysis showed that the value obtained is 0.5226 in the medium category and the response is very good. Based on the result of the research, the crossword puzzle game to summarize the developed explanation text is declared eligible and effective in improving the writing skill of the students' explanatory text.

The focus in this study were teacher professional development of the international standard pioneer school in State Senior High School 1 Temanggung, by observing the development of pedagogical competence, competence professional, personal competence, and social competence of the international standard pioneer school in State Senior High School 1 Temanggung. The study is the qualitative research with the ethnography approach. This research was conducted in State Senior High School 1 Temanggung year 2010/2011, the source of the data obtained from the principal, vice principal, head of the International Standard Pioneer School programs, teachers, librarians, and students. Data collected by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Validity of the data was done by triangulation techniques. Analysis of the data used is a model of interactive analysis. The results of this research can be concluded that the development of pedagogical competence of teachers of the international standard pioneer school in State Senior High School 1 Temanggung teachers include longer emphasizes the management aspects of learning, the development of professional competence include the aspect of improving the skills and aspects of knowledge, competence development aspects of personality include mental, spiritual, and the formation of professional ethics that provides a change in attitude teachers in managing learning, while the component that was developed in the social competence includes the development of emotional intelligence, and development of teachers' roles in professional organizations (MGMP). Developed in the fourth aspect is the competence of the teacher professional development efforts that improve teacher quality, and improving the quality of the learning process that led to improved quality of learning outcomes in schools RSMABI. Strategi used in the professional development of the international standard pioneer school in State Senior High School 1 Temanggung teachers is through training activities conducted both central and local government, or in-house training workshops held in schools, mentoring subject teachers by the facilitator / lecturer, teacher participation in professional organizations MGMP; procurement S-2 scholarships for further studies in Mathematics and Science teachers. Constraints are found covering the internal factors are lack of motivation of teachers, school layout, and inadequate infrastructure, as well as external factors are lack of support from Temanggung District government in improving the educational qualifications (S-2).

To feed the rising population whilst also preserving ecosystem functions, creative solutions are needed for the ecological intensification of natural grassland-based livestock systems. In Uruguay, natural grasslands are the main nutritional resource for livestock production. In these ecosystems, cattle and sheep graze together all the year round, and grasslands are frequently heavily grazed. Considerable research has been generated concerning grassland management, but there is still no knowledge about the impact of decision rules that supports management actions on long-term ecosystem functioning, at the system level. To meet this deficit, a participatory working group of farmers, researchers, and consultants have developed the GLENCOE platform. This platform is a large-scale facility, supported by INIA-Uruguay, designed to answer the following question: How to intensify the grazing management to improve the sustainability of livestock systems based on natural grasslands? To build the platform three steps were followed: (I) definition of the research problem using a problem tree analysis; (ii) conceptualization of the platform and the design of the grazing systems to be evaluated; and, (iii) spatial allocation of the grazing systems according to the variability of soil, slopes, and seasonal dynamic of vegetation indexes. These criteria were considered across farmlets that were equivalent in the initial stage, allowing causal inferences for the systems trajectories on productive and environmental traits. The platform is composed of three independent farmlets of 50 ha each, where multiparous Hereford cows and Merinos wethers co-graze under three grazing management systems. Each farmlet is managed according to different spatio-temporal decisions of the specific management of vegetation communities, grazing methods, and the stockpile of forage that is allowed by the number of the existing paddocks. Farmlet-1; comprises less decisions (2 paddocks), Farmlet-2; intermediate (8 paddocks), and Farmlet-3; high level of decisions (32 paddocks). This innovative platform will be used as a participatory and interdisciplinary space for research and co-learning of management on processes that can only be observed in long-term evaluations, and at farmlet scale. We expect that this new approach will contribute to the developement and implemention of sustainable grazing management systems in Uruguay.
