Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to create an animation-based learning media of corrosion processes in the subject of corrosion and coating. The media produced is a learning media program in the form of .swf file that can be directly installed and accessed on personal computer. This development research (R&D) was started with concept exploration to find out the necessary product model, followed by its development through many test steps (expert judgment, limited test, and application test) and correction procedure until the proper product was determined. The last step was an experimental process to validate the product. The research has result an animation-based interactive media which has good criteria according to the media expert judgment value of 78.3 %, students’ response of 83.0 % and subject matter expert judgment value of 89.0 %. Validity test show that the media has a significant effect to increase a number of students who reach minimum standard competency.

Abstract:
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik kelas X SMAN 3 Makassar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research And Developement) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan, meliputi: Analysis, Design, Developement, Implementasion, dan Evaluation. Bahan Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik ini dikembangkan dengan berbantuan aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMAN 3 Makassar. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, lembar obserbasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar aktivitas peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,81 (sangat valid). praktis rata-rata lembar obserbasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 1,68 dengan kategori terlaksana seluruhnya, analisis angket respon guru sebesar 89,72% dengan kategori sangat positif dan analisis angket respon peserta didik sebesar 88,58% dengan kategori sangat positif. Efektif, dengan rata-rata persentase lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran sebesar 4,375, rata-rata persentase lembar aktivitas peserta didik adalah 81%, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebesar 80%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan dan pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik kelas X SMAN 3 Makassar telah memenuhi kategori valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pengembangan bahan ajar pendekatan Cooperative Learning Tipe Turnamen siswa pada kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Belanti Barat. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Developement). Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Belanti Barat dan Penyebaran di SDN 13 Lolong sebanyak 25 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba Kevalitan dapat dilhat dari validasi isi, bahasa, penyajian, kegrafikaan dan RPP, keseluruhan 4.24 dengan kategori sangat valid. Pratikalitas bahan ajar dilihat dari respon pendidik, 84 % respon peserta didik 80 % sedangkan efektifitas bahan ajar 96%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar valid, praktis dan efektif pada kelas IV SD.

<p><em>Problems faced by students in understanding the subject of Educational Policy Analysis are: difficulties in identifying the strategic educational issues and low understanding of material. There are two problems in this research, they are: first, how to design Educational Policy Analysis module; second, can using the module improve student learning. This study uses Research and Developement (R&amp;D) method. The subjects of this study are students who take the subject of Educational Policy Analysis. The techniques of data collecting used are observation, questionnaire and interview. Data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative description by the expert judgment. The result shows that using module in learning can improve the quality of student learning. Based on the validation, using the Educational Policy Analysis module improves the quality of learning. Based on the results of t test, t count&gt;t table (3.426&gt; 2.021), with an error rate of 0,000%.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Masalah yang dihadapi para mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan yaitu kesulitan menentukan isu-isu strategis dalam pendidikan dan rendahnya daya serap mahasiswa terhadap materi. Penelitian ini mempunyai dua tujuan, pertama: bagaimana desain modul Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan, <em>kedua:</em> apakah belajar dengan modul dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode <em>Research and developement (R&amp;D)</em>. Subjek penelitiannya ialah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis menggunakan deskripsi ahli validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan modul dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, modul Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk dan mengetahui kelayakan e-modul berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir analisis pada materi gelombang bunyi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan 4D yang dibatasi menjadi 3D yaitu define, design, dan development. Tahap define terdiri atas merancang instrumen untuk tahap define, analisis RPP, analisis review dokumen modul dan analisis kebutuhan pengembangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket kebutuhan guru di 3 sekolah tersebut didapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 94% dengan kategori “sangat setuju”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil yang didapat melalui penyebaran angket kebutuhan siswa dan guru tersebut bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa dan guru di 3 sekolah tersebut. Tahap design terdiri atas rancangan e-modul dan rancangan instrumen untuk mengevaluasi e-modul. Tahap development terdiri atas pengembangan instrumen untuk mengevaluasi e-modul, validasi ahli serta revisi berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan uji keterbacaan produk. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli terhadap produk akhir E-modul yang dihasilkan diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata pada aspek kelayakan isi adalah 83,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek penyajian sebesar 98,4% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek penggunaan bahasa sebesar 89,2% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan aspek media sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 89,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk, diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata pada aspek isi adalah 90,9% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek kebahasaan sebesar 90,2% dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek penyajian sebesar 88,8% dengan kategori sangat layak dan aspek media sebesar 91,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji keterbacaan yang telah dilakukan oleh ahli dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-modul yang dikembangkan sudah “sangat layak” untuk dilanjutkan pada uji coba lapangan. Kata kunci: Penelitian dan Pengembangan, E-modul, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Kemampuan Berpikir Analisis ABSTRACT This research was a research and developement (R&D) that aimed to produce and determine the feasibility of e-modules based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to practice analytical thingking skills on sound wave material. The development model which is limited to 3D, namely define, design and developement. The define stage consisted of designing instruments for the define stage, RPP analysis and developement needs analysis. Based on the results of the quesionnaire analysis of teacher needed in the 3 school, an average percentage of 94% was obtained in the “strongly agree” category. So it can be concluded that based on the results obtained throught the distribution of the quesionnaire on the needs og students and teacher in the 3 school. The design stage consisted of the e-module. The developement stage consisted of developing instruments to evaluate e-modules, expert validation and product readability tests. Based on the results of expert validation of the resulting e-module final product, the percentage of the average score on the content feasibility aspect was 83,5% with a very decent category, the presentation aspect is 98,4% with a very decent category, the language use aspect is 89,2% in the very decent category, and the media aspect of 87,5% in the very decent category, with an overall average score of 89,6% in the very decent category. Based on the results of the product readability test, the percentage of the average score on the content aspect was 90,9% in the very feasible category, the linguistic aspect was 90,2% in the very feasible category, the presentation aspect was 88,8% in the very feasible category and the media by 91,6% with a very decent category. Based on the results validation and readability tests that is carry out by experts, it can be conclude that the developed e-module is a “very feasible“ to be continue for field trials. Abstract:
The purpose of this research are to develop macromedia flash-based mathematics learning media for cartesian coordinate material for class VIII SMPN 19 Mataram. Macromedia flash-based learning media is an audio-visual media presented in the form of software consisting of basic competencies, learning objectives, materials and quizzes. This development aims to overcome the weaknesses in the learning process that have occurred due to the lack of use of media in classroom, besides that it can also assist students in learning the concept of cartesian coordinates, especially in visualizing the objects in the material. The research methodology used in developing this learning media is 4D (Define, Design, Developement, Dissemination). Data collection techniques using interview guidelines and questionnaires. The result of this research is a software product of learning media for cartesian coordinates based on macromedia flash in the CD form. The product has been declared valid with good criteria by 4 validators. Based on the limited trial, it is known that the response of class VIII students of SMPN 19 Mataram that use the macromedia flash-based learning media cartesian coordinate is good.

Abstract:
The objective of this research was to develope physics learning materials based on Brain-Based Learningthat are valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s critical thinking skills in fluid matter. The learning materials development using 4D development model and have been tested on 10th grade students of The Senior High School of 1 Kopang, academic year 2016/2017, with one group pre-test post-test design trial development research. Data collection methods used were questionnaires validity, tests and observation, whereas data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results were showed several findings: physics learning materials developed had an average score of validity categorized valid, based on the implementation of the lesson plan is obtained that can be done well, especially on elaboration step. The response was very positive towards learning students, critical categorized for student’s critical thinking skills after the trial of physics materials were develop. Based on the results of this trial can be concluded that developement of physics learning material was valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s critical thinking skills.

Abstract:
In this thesis I advocate and evidence ESD through understanding and analysing the ecology of change in educational organisations, in particular Tertiary Education (TE), during the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (UNDESD, 2005-2014). I draw on my portfolio of research that examined various aspects of the efforts to mainstream ESD during this decade. My publications, which are referred to in this thesis, are based on experience of my own practice as lecturer, educational development manager and advocate of ESD at local, national and global level. My research approach is broadly based on action research principles. I argue that, to fully understand this complex change process, it is necessary to appreciate the role of the underpinning, and often conflicting, values in TE and how they influence the adoption of ESD. I further discuss the influence of both ‘top-down’ approaches, that are expressed in policies and frameworks, and ‘bottom-up’ approaches that are instigated by communities and individuals with special interests. The influence of the learning environment itself is also examined. Lastly, I make the case that the employment of appropriate action research methodologies can help with gaining a better understanding of this process as well as play a part in the process itself.

Abstract:
As technology continues to change the way society communicates, teachers need to prepare their students for digital literacy and competencies in their adulthood. Specific training is necessary for educators in the appropriate and effective methods for incorporating technologies such as smart phones and hand-held devices. Teachers, who work in international boarding schools, are more effective in their use of technology when they understand the classroom cultural differences and are able to clarify any misconceptions. To determine what experienced teachers find missing in their instruction and what should be included in a teachers' instructional guide, a guide was developed based upon the existing literature; the guide was tested and revised under three conditions. In the first phase, a panel of subject-matter experts reviewed the guide draft to identify the instructional goals and validate the survey instrument. In the second phase, a teacher's workshop was conducted and provided in-depth discussions on how they use technology in the classroom. Teachers shared examples of how culture affected students' use and misuse of technology. In the final phase, observations were conducted as teachers used the lessons and resources in their instruction. The final revision, presented in this document, includes closing comments made by participating teachers. The goal was to develop a digital citizenship guide for teachers in international boarding schools that reflected best practices from the literature and the input from experts and teachers. The results identified the specific skills and competencies that are required to teach students how to communicate in the digital world and become good digital citizens. The culturally diverse student population at the investigation site made it possible to generalize instructional sets that will be of value to teachers everywhere. The guide, developed through the dissertation initiative, provides educators with the knowledge, tools, and examples necessary to teach students how these technologies can be used in a multicultural learning environment. It can be used to address the fundamentals of digital citizenship and provide insight into the role culture plays in the use of technology in education.

Abstract:
Studien undersöker hur sju förskollärare tolkar och arbetar med barns motoriska träning i den pedagogiska verksamheten samt om hur de anser att barns motorik påverkar utveckling och lärande. Den empiriska undersökningen utgår från en kvalitativ ansats med semistruktuerade intervjuer utifrån två frågeställningar: Hur resonerar förskollärare om motorisk träning kopplat till barns utveckling och lärande? Samt På vilka sätt utmanas barnen till motorisk träning på förskolan, enligt förskollärarna?. Resultatet visar att majoriteten av förskollärarna uttrycker att motorisk träning vanligtvis sker via oplanerade aktiviteter och att fokus för planeringen ligger på andra mål i förskolans läroplan. Vidare visar resultatet på vikten av att vara närvarande för att upptäcka barns eventuella motoriska svårigheter i tidiga år i syfte att kunna stötta barnens vidareutveckling, enligt förskollärarnas utsagor. Det uttrycks även att förhållningsätt och kunskaper om motorik utgör gränser i arbetet med motoriska aktiviteter och att förskollärarna är medvetna om att motorik innehåller både fin- och grovmotorik, men att det praktiska arbetet skiljer sig åt genom att de nästan enbart beskriver ett grovmotoriskt arbete.
The study examines how seven preschool teachers interpret and work with children's motor training in the educational activities and how they believe that children's motor skills affect development and learning. The empirical study is based on a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews based on two questions: How do preschool teachers reason about motor training linked to children's development and learning? And In what ways are children challenged to motor training in preschool, according to preschool teachers?. The results show that the majority of preschool teachers express that motor training usually takes place via unplanned activities and that the focus for planning is on other goals in the preschool curriculum. Furthermore, the results show the importance of being present to detect children's possible motor difficulties in the early years in order to be able to support the children's further development, according to the preschool teachers' statements. It is also stated that attitudes and knowledge about motor skills constitute limits in the work with motor activities and that preschool teachers are aware that motor skills contain both fine and gross motor skills, but that the practical work differs in that they almost only describe gross motor work.

Abstract:

Preschool education in Queensland is undergoing a series of redevelopments. The process of redefining preschool education is a long and involved one. In the final publication stage, these developments have been given a curriculum focus, with a framework proposed to link all aspects of preschool curriculum. As the vehicle through which the preschool curriculum is delivered, the Guidelines highlight and promote developmentally, socially and culturally appropriate learning opportunities and outcomes for children in a preschool program. Determining whether such outcomes are appropriate has in the past, been a task relegated to the professional judgment and decision making of the teacher. The focus of the renewed Preschool Curriculum Guidelines explores a new perspective, by highlighting the need to develop worthwhile and 'workable' partnerships with parents, children, professional colleagues and community members to influence the quality of the learning outcomes for children. Resolving whether such outcomes meet quality measures introduces a focus on the value of preschool education, and particularly, its contribution to establishing foundations for lifelong learning. At the same time as introducing a focus on what is appropriate, understanding 'quality' involves the interpretation and understanding of 'quality' asa more inclusive term, incorporating all elements of practice.

It has been argued that the Queensland Preschool Curriculum Guidelines are reaffirming the like-minded and that, since it is the responsibility of principals and school administrators to disseminate the Guidelines, the focus should be narrowed to identifying and exploring their views regarding the Preschool Guidelines and understanding of quality preschool practice. This research represents a new and innovative approach to the study of professional knowledge and the way it is used to make judgments about the provision of a quality curriculum in the preschool context.

This researcher adopted systematic design of instruction from Dick and Carey’s theory to design seventh-grade courses of Lesson One and Lesson Two in English textbook II. According to STAD, an English sentence writing scheme was developed on basis of the model of cooperative leaning. The thesis attempted to investigate how the writing mythology influenced the interest of junior high school students. During the research, the researcher gave 100 students pretests, posttests, and writing worksheets in each class. The researcher also used auxiliary methods such as interviewing the students and course evaluation to collect information. In addition, students of experiment group and control group filled in the Writing Interest Questionnaire of Making English Sentences before and after the experiment. T-test, One-way Anova, and Ancova were used to analyze the quantitative data. The research findings were as follows: 1.Dick and Carey’s systematic design of instruction model guided the educator to set up clear teaching goals and helped the learners to catch the points of each lesson. 2.There is significant difference between the pretest and posttest of Writing Interest Questionnaire of Making English Sentences in experiment group to indicate that the designed courses enhanced students’ interest in making English sentences. 3.The result of the posttest of the questionnaire was better than that of the pretest in four aspects- “writing consciousness”, “writing skills”, “writing preference”, and “learning attitudes”. 4.The result of Writing Interest Questionnaire of Making English Sentences revealed that the experiment group demonstrated significantly better performance than the control group. Overall, the STAD writing curriculum developed under Dick and Carey’s theory of systematic design of instruction promoted seventh-grade students’ interest in making English sentences, and suggestions based on the findings were provided for further research.

This reserach applied four different optimal methods to decide the direction for searching .Golden Section Method and Cubic Polynomial Interpolation were used to find the optimal step length to improve the learning efficiency of Backpropagation (BP) learning alogrithm. Once the architecture of BP is decided, no adjustment of any parameters have to be done.We found that the efficiency of learning process by the suggested method is better than BP by NW2 plus. Among all the above optimial methods, the CGM and BFGS are better. It has a good performance on the case of structure analysis, both learning and predicition of sections.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with the possibilities of communication skills development for persons with learning disabilities. Problematics of vocabulary acquirement and the associated cognitive processes are of primary interest of the thesis. Part of the work is a proposal of several practical activities for improvement of these fields, all in agreement with the presented theoretical background. Qualitative study on a sample of 5 tenants of a nursing home was conducted. Subsequent analysis revealed that the nature, implementation and orientation of the proposed tasks is suitable for the clients. The main objective of this diploma thesis is to characterize forms of education in selected enterprise, analyse it in relation to the corporate culture and suggest changes leading to a desirable future state of the knowledge-based economy. In connection with the theme and the main objective of this thesis is the research also focused on the corporate culture, the recruitment and the selection of employees. The theoretical part consists of theoretical knowledge, which relate to the issue of development of employees through lifelong learning, selection of employees, corporate culture and knowledge economy. The practical part contains information about selected company. This part also analyses the corporate culture, the selection and training of employees, through the use of quantitative and qualitative methods. The obtained results are the basis for proposing effective changes. At the end of the diploma thesis are proposed some changes which should improve the current situation, especially the area of employee training to reach a knowledge-based economy in the future.

Learning exercises containing chemical calculations are necessary for complex understanding of some parts of chemical curriculum. This diploma thesis deals with creation and evaluation of worksheets containing multicomponent learning tasks closely connected to reality for pupils of elementary and high school. The theoretical part consists of the summary of present valid Czech curricular documents, mainly parts focused on chemical calculations and sustainable development. The main part of this thesis is creation of worksheets containing multicomponent learning tasks focused on different topics of chemistry which were chosen according to Framework Education Programmes. Created worksheets were verified and evaluated at high school. Based on evaluations of worksheets action research focused on problems during solving chemical calculations was conducted on elementary school.

Abstract:
This chapter focuses on lekta as the objects of ordinary teaching. What there is to teach, and what there is to learn are lekta, say the Stoics. This claim leads to affirming the mind-independence of lekta since it is what is distinct and external from us, and yet obtains as true, that we need to be taught, especially once teaching and learning are understood as necessary steps in the natural development of reason in us. There are two methods for this developement to follow its natural course: through sense-perception leading to the acquisition of conceptions on the basis of experience, and through teaching and paying attention. The methods are not only compatible but are equally necessary to enable us to fulfil our impulse to preserve what we come to understand is most characteristic of us, as rational beings in a rational cosmos, namely reason. The Stoic theory of oikeiōsis, appropriation, is discussed in relation to the teaching and learning of lekta, as also the further question of the stages of this process of instruction. The Stoics make a distinction between two ways impressions come about in our minds: hupo, by, and epi, in relation to. A suggestion is put forward that this difficult distinction expands the distinction between the two methods, sensory and through attention, which ground the natural developement of reason. In this light, the example the Stoics take of the gymnasitics teacher, often decried as incongruous, is defened as a paradigmatic case of teaching how to pay attention to lekta, expressed through a language of the body.
