Abstract:

Günümüzde teknolojinin geldiği konum sebebiyle siber güvenliğe ihtiyaç oldukça artmış bulunmaktadır. İnsanların en kişisel bilgilerine internet üzerinden kolayca ulaşılabilmektedir. Banka bilgileri, özlük bilgileri, devlet sırları, askeri sırlar gibi bilgilerin korunmaya ihtiyacı vardır. İnsanların kişisel bilgilerini ve devlet sırlarını koruma altına almak için bir çok şifreleme algoritması geliştirilmiştir. Bu makalede şifreleme algoritmalarından RSA, AES, DES, algotirmalarının karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırmalar algoritmaların hızları göz önünde bulundurularak yapılmıştır. Abstract:

Sebagaiman diketahui bahwa koteri-k merupakan perluasan dari definisi koteri yang dapat diterapkan masalah mutex-k. Pada mutex-k terdapat sebanyak k proses yang dapat mengakses sumber daya. Selain itu, kita juga mengenal koteri-k khusus yang disebut dengan koteri-k mayoritas dimana untuk setiap korumnya memiliki ukuran yang sama yang ditentukan dengan . Terdapat beberapa cara dalam penggabungan koter-ki salah satu diantaranya dan sudah tidak asing lagi yaitu operasi join yang merupakan suatu operasi yang digunakan dalam menggabungkan koteri-k mayoritas yang diperkenalkan oleh Neilsen dan Mizuno. Pada operasi join, terdapat salah satu sifat yang menyatakan bahwa jika dan tak-terdominasi maka tak-terdominasi. Ternyata sifat tersebut tidak selamanya berlaku sehingga mengakibatkan koteri-k yang dihasilkan dari operasi join menjadi terdominasi.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memperkenalkan suatu cara baru dalam menggabungkan koteri-k mayoritas tak-terdominasi yang disebut dengan operasi join diperluas. Dimana operasi join diperluas ini adalah suatu operasi yang dikembangkan dari operasi join yang dibangun dengan cara menggabungkan dua koteri-k mayoritas dan yang memiliki ukuran korum yang sama masing-masing atas semesta tak-kosong dan dengan unsur tereliminasi , dimana untuk membentuk atas semesta tak-kosong . Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk penggabungan dua koteri-k mayoritas tak-terdominasi dengan mengguankan operasi join diperluas akan selalu menghasilkan koteri-k tak-terdominasi dengan nilai k sebelum dan setelah dilakukan operasi penggabungan tidak mengalami perubahan.

Abstract:

Dünyada farklı zamanlarda yaşanan, sanayileşme, şehirleşme ve modernleşme süreçleri, fiziksel çevre ve çevre değerlerini belirli ölçülerde değişikliğe uğratmıştır. Özellikle, 1950 yılından sonraki süreçte uygulanan kentleşme politikaları sonucunda, yok olma tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya kalan kültürel mirasın korunması için, özel bölgeler, korunması öncelikli alanlar ve yapılar tespit edilmiştir. Burdur Kentinde inşa edildiği dönem ve konum itibariyle, günümüz yerleşim alanının başlangıç noktası olarak kabul edilebilecek "Tarihi Ticari Merkez" bu alanlardan bir tanesidir. Çalışmada, Osmanlı kent kültüründeki çarşı mekansal özelliklerini taşıyan, alanın gelecek nesillere aktarılmasının ön koşulu olan korumanın en iyi şekliyle gerçekleştirilebilmesi için, yapıların özgün durumlarına dair bilgilerin aktarılması hedeflenmektedir. Koruma ve onarım sürecinde doğru müdahalelerin gerçekleştirilebilmesini sağlayacak bu bilgiler içerisinde, çarşının süreç içerisindeki gelişimi, konumu, dükkânların yerleşimi, plan tipleri, cephe elemanları ve bezeme unsurları yer almaktadır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak, arşive dayalı araştırma, yerinde gözlem ve uygulamaya yönelik alan çalışması kullanılmıştır. Arşiv çalışmasında, alanın tarihsel sürecine ilişkin bilgiler elde edilmiş, fiziksel ve sosyo-kültürel dönüşümleri belirlenmiştir. Alan çalışmasında, her yapı için yapı bilgi fişleri hazırlanmış, rölöve tekniği ile yapıların plan krokileri çıkarılmış, yapılar fotoğraflama yöntemi ile belgelenmiş, gerçekleştirilen birtakım onarım çalışmaları yerinde gözlemlenerek takip edilmiş ve ulaşılabilen en eski tarihli yapıların kullanıcıları ile kişisel görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Abstract:

In the study, the bioactive, physicochemical and antimicrobial properties of koruk juice and dried koruk pomace were investigated. The total phenolic contents of koruk juice and pomace were determined as 1119.670 and 1182.170 mg GAE/L, respectively. Higher DPPH radical scavenging activity found in koruk pomace, which was consistent with total phenolic contents. Organic acid, total sugar and ascorbic acid contents of koruk juice (3.44%, 4.737 g/L and 2.559 mg/100 mL) were higher than koruk pomace (0.19%, 0.866 g/L and 0.242 mg/100 mL). The counts of Total Psychrophilic Aerobic Bacteria and mold-yeast in pomace were determined as 0.694 and 1.016 log CFU/g, respectively, while no growth was observed in koruk juice. Koruk juice and pomace indicated antimicrobial effect on all test microorganisms in the range of 31.3-500.0 µg/mL (Minimum Inhibition Concentration). The most sensitive bacteria to koruk juice were Bacillus cereus, while Pediococcus acidilactici was the most sensitive one to koruk pomace. Koruk juice also showed bactericidal effect on all test cultures at concentration ranging between 250.0 and 500.0 µg/mL (Minimum Bactericidal Concentration), koruk pomace was not showed bactericidal effect on Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella Typhimurium, E. coli and B. cereus. This study demonstrated that the koruk products could be used in food applications as natural antioxidant and antimicrobial substance.

Penelitian ini membahas kembali penurunan model dinamika korupsi politisi dalam masyarakat demokratis. Model tersebut dikonstruksi dalam tinjauan politikekonomi, dengan variabel keadaan meliputi popularitas, aset tersembunyi, dan upaya penyelidikan kasus korupsi. Berdasarkan ada atau tidaknya upaya penyelidikan, model dibagi atas dua bagian, yaitu sistem korup dan sistem tak-korup. Abstract:

Bu araştırma, çalışanların etik konum algılarının makyavelizm eğilimleri ve işe angaje olma davranışlarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Türkiye’deki kamu çalışanlarından oluşmaktadır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, çalışanların etik konum algılarının makyavelizm ve işe angaje olmaları üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Etik konum algısının görecilik ve doğruluk boyutları makyavelizm üzerinde pozitif etkiye sahipken idealizm boyutunun ise negatif yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Etik konum algısının işe angaje olma üzerindeki etkileri incelendiğinde sadece idealizm alt boyutunun anlamlı olarak etkilediği, görecilik ve doğruluk boyutlarının ise anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Tarih boyunca her devlet az ya da çok vatandaşlarının refahını artırmayı istemiştir. Sanayi devrimi ve onun bir parçası olarak kentleşmenin hızla artmasıyla devletlerin sosyal refahı sağlamak için aldıkları önlemler de artmıştır. Modern zamanlarda birçok devlet “sosyal devlet” olma yolunda sosyal sınıf farklılıklarını en aza indirmeyi ve alt sosyal tabakaların sosyo-ekonomik düzeyini iyileştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu çaba içerisinde devletler tarafından sağlanan sosyal koruma yardımları önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu çalışmamızda sosyal koruma yardımları bağlamında Sosyal Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Vakıflarının işlevselliği incelenecektir. Günümüzde Aile, Çalışma ve Sosyal Hizmetler Bakanlığı’na bağlı olarak çalışan bu vakıflar bir devlet politikası olarak vatandaşların refahını artırmayı hedeflemektedir. Araştırmamız sosyal koruma yardımlarının birçok alanda verildiğini ve bu konuda devletin alicenap davranarak yardım miktarlarını son yıllarda önemli ölçüde artırarak birçok yeni kalemde yardım faaliyetinde bulunduğunu göstermektedir. Bununla birlikte AB ve OECD üyesi ülkelerle karşılaştırdığımızda, sosyal koruma yardımları konusunda hala atmamız gereken birçok adımın olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır.

Koruma evlerinin kurulum aşamaları, amaç ve koşulları coğrafyamız içinde değişiklik gösterse de bütün koruma evleri öksüz, yetim ve sahipsiz çocuklara sahip çıkıp ve hayata hazırlamak amacıyla kurulurlar. Bu yüzden dolayı yetimhaneler bahsedilen çocuklar için en yüksek fayda ve işlemi sağlayacak şekilde tasarlanması gereken yapı kompleksleridir. Bir birey olarak, zihinsel ve fiziksel gelişimin henüz tamamlanmadığı erken çocukluk döneminde çevresel ve mekânsal etkiler büyük bir önem taşır. Bu çalışmada koruma evlerinde kalan okul öncesi çocukluk dönemindeki çocukların görsel algı gelişimine uygun mekan tasarımının nasıl olması gerektiği, tasarımın çocukların algı davranışsal performansı üzerine etkileri ve bu tasarımda tekstil ürünlerinin rolü ortaya konacaktır.

Tulisan ini membahas skandal aksi korup Presiden Trump sebagaimana dipaparkan dalam tiga kolom opini di koran daring The Washington Post, The Washington Times, dan Reuter. Dengan mengadaptasi analisis naratologis Berning (2011), pembahasan atas ketiga kolom opini tersebut dilakukan dengan cara menyikapi ketiga produk jurnalisme tersebut sebagai produk naratif, dengan memperhatikan jenis fokalisasi dan jenis narasinya. Abstract:

The article initially addresses the novel Kata by Steinar Bragi in the context of genre and asks to what extent it aligns itself with the crime novel, in particular the more recent brand of the crime novel wherein social issues are placed at the forefront. The point is made that Kata diverges in some important respects from even the most radical of critiques found within the parameters of the crime genre, in that it suspends the very concepts that usually ground such narratives (justice, right, and crime) and comes to the conclusion that the widespread social acceptance of violence against women delegitimizes the entire edifice of Western thinking on social justice. It is here that the article looks towards Louis Althusser’s theorization 149of ideological and oppressive state apparatuses, while shifting their object from the class struggle to gender relations. Althusser’s concepts are employed to shed light on the ideology that supports and enables violence against women in contemporary societies, and how the reverse of the oppressive function of the state, that is, state leniency and disinterest in prosecuting sex crimes, or creating the environment in which they are unlikely to be reported, are taken up in the novel, thematized, and in turn, fuel the rage of the protagonist. Finally, a question is raised as to the signific-ance of the fact that a novel about female rage and disempowerment is written by a male author.

Abstract:

This study investigates the harmony of husband and wife of a soldier of Korem 132 / Tadulako from Perspective of Islamic Law. This research includes field research with the qualitative method. The data is collected by direct observation and interviews with such matters and thorough documentation of data in Korem 132 / Tadulako. Whereas the approach used in this study is the Religion approach, which is based on the questions of the Qur'an, and Al-Hadith, the approach of dis, which is based on the Discipline of Warrior Discipline in Law No. 26 of 1997. This analysis uses policing, but the analysis that departs from the facts and concrete events in the field then draws conclusions that are general in nature. This research is descriptive-analytical, namely the risk-seeking to harmonize the harmony of soldiers' husband and wife in Korem 132 / Tadulako. research. The results showed that the harmony of the wife's husband and wife in Korem 132 / Tadulako Perspective of the Islamic Law was in accordance with the Islamic law mentioned in QS Ar-Ruum (30): 21 which explained about pleasant-sounding family. From a legal perspective, TNI regulation contributes to improving the husband's relationship with the wife of the soldier because the rules that apply to soldiers and persist must be correlated with each other so that a happy family in the environment is realized.

Abstract:

This paper investigates the bilateral trade pattern between South Korea and the United States and examines the economic impact of a Korea–United States (KORUS) free trade agreement (FTA). Three related general equilibrium approaches were used to investigate the effects of a KORUS FTA. The static general equilibrium model estimates the efficiency gains from resource allocation. The capital accumulation general equilibrium model includes the growth bonus from the increased incentives for savings and investment created by the static efficiency gains. The productivity enhancement general equilibrium model augments the capital accumulation model by taking into consideration the dynamic efficiency improvements from competitive effects in the economies over time. The last welfare gain turns out to be the biggest gain from the KORUS FTA, dwarfing the static efficiency gains. The results indicate that Korea could gain an estimated 0.32 to 5.97 percent in GDP from a KORUS FTA. Much of the gains that would accrue to Korea from the FTA with the United States would be productivity gains from increased competition between U.S. producers and domestic Korean producers. Another important area of gain for Korea would be increased efficiency from lower non-tariff barriers. This provides a strong argument for ensuring that an FTA between Korea and the United States is comprehensive and facilitates regulatory cooperation and the reduction of non-tariff barriers.

Abstract:

Osmanlı Devleti Tanzimat Dönemi'nde ülkenin zenginliklerini değerlendirmeye yönelik bir dizi faaliyete girişti. Bu çalışmalar birkaça aşamadan oluşmaktaydı. Evvela yer altı ve yer üstü kaynaklar tespit ediliyor, ardından ne şekilde değerlendirileceği tespit edilmekteydi. Osmanlı Devleti'ni dönemin diğer devletlerinden ayıran en önemli fark bu aşamadan sonra ortaya çıkar. Osmanlı Hükümeti yer altı ve yer üstü kaynaklarını sadece değerlendirmekle kalmaz, bu kaynakları korumak için de tedbirler alır. Avrupa'nın Afrika ve Güney Amerika'da yaptığı yağmaya varan tahribat düşünüldüğünde koruma faaliyetinin önemi kendiliğinden ortaya çıkar. Osmanlı idaresinin tespit, değerlendirme ve koruma çalışmalarının tespit edilebildiği yerlerden biri de Bosna Hersek'tir. Ardından Bosna ormanlarından yararlanma kesin kurallara bağlanmış ve orman yağmasının önüne geçilmiştir. Özellikle Orman Memuru Artin Efendi Bosna Hersek'in orman varlığını tespitte oldukça önemli hizmetlerde bulunmuştur. Bugün zengin orman kaynaklarına sahip Bosna Hersek'in bu zenginliğinin kaynağının Osmanlı idaresi döneminde yapılan koruma faaliyetleri olduğunu iddia etmek kesinlikle abartı olmayacaktır.

The oldest rocks in the Penbegˇli-Tut inlier of southeastern Turkey belong to the Meryemuşagˇi Formation (base not seen); they are mostly clastic rocks of ?late Precambrian age, overlain with angular unconformity by unfossiliferous quartzites (270 m est.) of the Zabuk Formation. The latter unit is succeeded conformably by the Koruk Formation (Lower?/Middle Cambrian), comprising almost 200 m of dolomite and grey and red nodular limestone, and the Sosink Formation (Middle Cambrian), about 600 m of silty mudstone and sandstone with a few thin limestone beds, overlain unconformably by Cretaceous carbonates. The closest comparison is with the Derik-Mardin area, 220 km to the east, where the section is more complete. The upper Koruk Formation contains trilobites of the Pardailhania and Solenopleuropsis biozones; trilobites from the Sosink Formation indicate the Solenopleuropsis Biozone, a post-Solenopleuropsis interval, and a level with Holasaphus mesopotamicus, known only from the Derik area. Acritarchs from the highest Koruk Formation and the whole of the Sosink belong to the lower part of microflora A2, described from the Middle Cambrian of eastern Newfoundland.

A total of 390 bird species are known to occur in the Korup National Park (KNP) and the surrounding Korup Project Area (KPA). Although the avifauna of KNP is incompletely known, it is already among the most ornithologically diverse lowland forest sites i n Africa. The avian diversity of the KPA is increased by the montane forest bird species of the Rumpi Hills Forest Reserve (RHFR) and the Nta Ali Forest Reserve (NAFR). The lowland and montane forests of the KNP/KPA are very important to the conservation of African forest birds. Four species found in the Korup area are considered globally threatened, and four are considered near-threatened. In addition, 40 species were considered for threatened status, some of which are likely future additions to the threatened list. Twelve of Korup's 36 montane forest bird species are endemic to the montane areas of western Cameroon, eastern Nigeria, and Bioko (Fernando Po). The RHFR is especially important as a refuge for montane birds because much of the montane forest elsewhere in western Cameroon has been cleared for agriculture. Breeding phenology data are provided for many lowland forest species. Additionally, this report provides information on many rarely recorded species for western Cameroon, including several species not previously documented in the region. Kemp's Longbill Macrosphenus ketnpi was recorded for the first time in Cameroon. Because it is sympatric with the Yellow Longbill M. flavicans in Korup, additional evidence now exists for the contention that M. ketnpi and M.flavicans are separate species. The Yellow-chested Apalis Apalisflavidawas also documented for the first time in Cameroon.

This paper investigates the effect of the South Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (KORUS-FTA) on U.S. competition with other suppliers for the import/export of orange juice. We use monthly trade data for 2007- 2015 to estimate the import demand from the United States, Brazil, Israel, and the rest of the world. Our results suggest that U.S. suppliers have surpassed Brazil and dominate the market. Moreover, we show that thanks to the KORUS-FTA, U.S. suppliers have gained significant welfare and trade value, which is particularly important for industries suffering from a shrinking domestic market.

The KORUS FTA includes various clauses on marketing approval of new medicines and their reimbursement decisions. We aim to capture the availability of new medicines, to measure drug lags for new medicines, and to demonstrate the effect of the KORUS FTA on the timely availability of new medicines in the Korean market. We selected new drug applications approved in the United States between 2007 and 2015, calculated the drug lag, which was defined as the time difference between the date of regulatory approval in the United States and in Korea, and constructed a logistic and Cox model to capture the effect of the variables of interest on the availability and drug lag of new medicines in the Korean market. The FDA in the United States approved 160 NDAs between 2007 and 2015. The KORUS FTA does not increase the availability of new medicines or shorten the drug lag of new medicines. However, the presence of the manufacturer in Korea was significantly related to the availability and drug lag in the Korean market. It is noteworthy that the presence of the manufacturer, which is a kind of by-product of free trade in pharmaceuticals, affected drug lag.

A fifth group, from those species in 3 and 4, was defined by a relative lack of small stems and given detailed attention. Dfds were evaluated for all species together on a transect and site basis, and compared for individual species across transects, and between sites for those group 5 species in common.Analysis focussed on three large ectomycorrhizal species in groups 3 and 4,Microberlinia bisulcata, Tetraberlinia bifoliolataandT. moreliana(Caesalpiniaceae), which were restricted to, and dominated, the forest on the nutrient-poor soils of transect P at Korup.M. bisulcata, the most abundant, was markedly group 5 in character, with very few small trees, whilst theTetraberliniaspecies had strong replacement potential. Although there were 27 species (42% of groups 3 & 4) at Korup and 19 (48%) at Douala–Edea in group 5,M. bisulcatawas unique in its combination of large size, dfd, mycorrhizal habit, spatial distribution and soil association. Abstract This study is a contribution to the planning of hydrocarbon exploration program of the Koum sedimentary basin in North Cameroon. 3D modeling of WGM2012 gravity data derived from EGM2008 geopotential model in the Koum basin was used together with existing geological and spectral analysis information to give structural picture of the basin. The 3D model of the Koum basin confirms that the basin is developed as a half graben bounded by sub-vertical faults. The thickness of the Cenozoic sediments is about 1.5 km in the eastern part and reaches 4.5 km in the western part of the basin. Gravity lineaments computed by multi-scale analysis revealed structural trends in the E–W, NW–SE, NE–WS and N–S directions. The faults in the sedimentary terrain reach 6 km depth and have a predominant NW–SE trend with E–W trending faults along the contact between the sedimentary section and the basement complex in the northern edge.

Abstract:

The diurnal primate community of the Korup area of south-west Cameroon is rich in species and high in endemism. Two years monitoring in the Support Zone around Korup National Park have shown that, although all species of the original community are still present, Preuss' red colobus and drill, which were considered to be threatened in the early 1990s, have declined further and are probably facing local extinction. Densities of the crowned monkey also seem to have declined. Only mona and putty-nosed monkeys have an expanded distribution, and densities that are within the range of those reported from previous studies in the region. Although hunting is the most important cause of these declines, logging also appears to be having a detrimental effect. In logged forest group densities of chimpanzee, red-capped mangabey, mona monkey and red-eared monkey decreased between the two survey years, whilst remaining constant or increasing in unlogged forest. The frequency of associations of guenon species did not differ between logged and unlogged study sites, but encounters of associations of all four guenon species were only found in unlogged forest. We strongly recommend enforcement of anti-poaching activities inside the Korup National Park, and establishment of wildlife management in the Support Zone, as only a combined strategy can successfully guarantee the persistence of the wildlife of the region.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji daya hasil 23 klon ubi kayu yang dibandingkan dengan klon standar yaitu klon UJ5. Penelitian terdiri atas 2 percobaan yaitu Percobaan A dan B. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2017 hingga April 2018 di Desa Muara Putih, Natar, Lampung Selatan. Uji asam sianida dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknologi Hasil Pertanian Politeknik Negeri Lampung, Bandar Lampung. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas dua ulangan untuk percobaan A, dan tiga ulangan untuk percobaan B. Karakter kuantitatif dianalisis ragam dan diuji lanjut menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) dan Dunnett taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian percobaan A menunjukkan Klon CMM 96-1-102, 19-Daniel, BL-1, Bayam Liwa 5, dan SL-36 memiliki jumlah ubi lebih banyak dari klon UJ5. Klon CMM 96-1-102, UJ 6, Litbang UK 2, SL-36, Korem Gatam, dan UJ6 memiliki bobot ubi segar per tanaman yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan klon UJ5. Klon Litbang UK 2, SL-106, UJ3, UJ6, dan CMM 96-1-102 memiliki indeks panen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan klon UJ5. SummaryThe ability of mepiquat chloride and chlormequat growth retardants to modify grain yield components and stem length in two contrasting spring barley cultivars was evaluated in 2 years of small scale field experiments in central southern England. Interactions with plant population density and sowing date were studied.The mid-tall cv. Koru was more responsive than the shorter high tillering ‘erectoides’ cv. Goldmarker. Early treatments of mepiquat chloride (applied before the start of main shoot stem elongation) on Koru raised grain yield/plant in both years. Early treatments with chlormequat and later applications (during main shoot stem elongation) of either retardant were largely ineffective. Yield increases were achieved by raising the number of spikes/plant along with the number of grains/spike and the above-ground biomass in certain later-formed, lower ranking shoots.A medium plant population density (250 plants/m2) allowed the best response to early treatment with mepiquat chloride, as did a normally-timed sowing in contrast to a late one. Retardant-induced improvements in yield components in Koru were positively correlated with plant height, the result of over-compensation in the length of upper internodes.It appears that effective treatments reduced the dominance of the main shoot during tillering, allowing greater initiation and survival of florets (grain sites) in smaller shoots.

Gerek ürünün gerekse kalıbın tasarımında ürünün fonksiyonelliği yanında, yarı mamulün efektif kullanım miktarı, fire ve hurda miktarının da dikkate alınıp hesaplanması ve maliyetlendirilmesi gereklidir. Bu çalışmada, 3,5 aylık süreçte işletmede üretilen yüksek kapasiteye sahip parçaların mevcut imalat durumundaki konumları ile hatve miktarları incelenmiştir. Bu incelemeler sonucu mevcut durumda sac metal kullanım verimlilikleri düşük olan parçalar ayırt edilmiştir. Ayırt edilen bu parçalar için, literatürde önerilen konum ve hatve önerileri ile ilgili araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Parça konum ve hatveleri bilgisayar ortamında fire miktarı azaltılarak verimlilik artacak şekilde yeniden modellenmiştir. Böylece yarı mamul sacın daha verimli kullanılmasına ilişkin örnekler oluşturulmuş ve elde edilen kazanç hesaplanmıştır.

Abstract:

Korea’s network of international investment agreements (IIAs), comprising 94 BITs and nine FTAs with investment chapters, demonstrates that attracting foreign investment to Korea and protecting Korean investors overseas has been an important policy aspect. However, little attention was paid to these agreements until 2006 when negotiations for the Korea-United States (KORUS) FTA began. These negotiations sparked public criticism and heated debates of investor-State dispute settlement. Whereas Korea had routinely accepted the IIA provisions presented by developed counter-parties and used them as a template when negotiating with developing economies in the past, Korean IIA practice changed substantially following the KORUS FTA. In the face of heightened public scrutiny, Korea began to critically review key features of its IIAs and developed its own position on some important issues. This article examines these developments, considering that Korea will play a key role in shaping international investment law in the future, particularly in Asia.
