Abstract:
Introduction: The cost-effectiveness of screening asymptomatic non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) patients remains debatable, with current studies assuming lifelong benefits of NAFLD screening while neglecting cardiovascular outcomes. This study aims to assess the cost-effectiveness of NAFLD screening among type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients, and to establish a price threshold for NAFLD treatment, when it becomes available. Method: A Markov model was constructed comparing 4 screening strategies (versus no screening) to identify NAFLD with advanced fibrosis among T2DM patients: fibrosis-4 (FIB-4), vibration-controlled transient elastography (VCTE), FIB-4 and VCTE (simultaneous), and FIB-4 and VCTE (sequential). Sensitivity analyses and price threshold analyses were performed to assess parameter uncertainties in the results. Results: VCTE was the most cost-effective NAFLD screening strategy (USD24,727/quality-adjusted life year [QALY]), followed by FIB-4 (USD36,800/QALY), when compared to no screening. Probabilistic sensitivity analysis revealed a higher degree of certainty for VCTE as a cost-effective strategy compared to FIB-4 (90.7% versus 73.2%). The duration of expected screening benefit is the most influential variable based on incremental cost-effectiveness ratio tornado analysis. The minimum duration of screening benefit for NAFLD screening to be cost-effective was at least 2.6 years. The annual cost of NAFLD treatment should be less than USD751 for NAFLD screening to be cost-effective. Conclusion: Both VCTE and FIB-4 are cost-effective NAFLD screening strategies among T2DM patients in Singapore. However, given the lack of access to VCTE at primacy care and potential budget constraints, FIB-4 can also be considered for NAFLD screening among T2DM patients in Singapore. Abstract:
Objective: Predictors of mortality that indicate disease severity plays an important role in COVID-19 management and treatment decisions. This study aimed to investigate the association between fibrosis-4 (FIB-4) score, aspartate aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index (APRI), and novel biomarker-based score (SAD-60) with mortality in COVID-19 patients treated in a tertiary hospital. Materials and Methods: In this single-center retrospective study, patients ≥18 years of age who were admitted to our hospital for COVID-19 between December 1 and 31, 2021, were included. Patients were divided into two groups as deceased and survived. A comparative analysis was applied. Predictive abilities of the FIB-4, APRI, and SAD-60 scores for in-hospital mortality were evaluated. Results: Of the 453 patients enrolled in the study, 248 (54.6%) were male, and the mean age was 52.2±14.7 years. Mortality was recorded in 39 (8.5%) of the patients. The median values of APRI (0.43 and 0.58; p=0.001), FIB-4 score (1.66 and 2.91; p<0.001), and SAD-60 (2 and 8.25; p<0.001) were higher in deceased patients than in survivors. The optimal cut-off value for predicting mortality in the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was 0.58 for APRI (sensitivity=56.4%, specificity=63.6%); 2.14 for FIB-4 score (sensitivity=79.5%, specificity=68.2%); 4.25 for SAD-60 (sensitivity=90%, specificity=73.8%). In Cox regression analysis with a model that included gender, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and coronary artery disease (CAD), FIB-4 (hazard ratio [HR]=4.013, 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.643-9.803; p=0.002), and SAD-60 (HR=8.850, 95% CI=1.035-75.696; p=0.046) were independent risk factors for mortality. Conclusion: SAD-60 and FIB-4 scores are easily applicable and may be used to predict mortality in COVID-19 patients. Keywords: APRI, FIB-4, SAD-160, COVID-19, mortality, predictors

Abstract:
Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have revolutionized energy storage technology, with cathode materials playing a pivotal role in their performance. Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) cathodes are essential components, where the nickel (Ni) content profoundly influences battery capacity and cycle time. Traditional methods, such as SEM-EDS element mapping, have limitations in resolving distinct NMC phases. To address this, we employ Principal Component Analysis (PCA) phase mapping, unveiling intricate NMC phase distinctions. Furthermore, we investigate into the crucial aspect of lithium-ion distribution within the cathode using Focused Ion Beam Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (FIB ToF-SIMS). This technique, when integrated a compact SIMS detector with a DualBeam microscope, provides invaluable insights into lithiation and delithiation processes regarding to battery cycling. Our finding on an electrode revealing that discharged cathodes exhibit 7Li+ signal 3.5 times higher than charged cathodes. The SIMS lithium mapping results illustrated the trapped lithium ions in charged cathodes, as well as the uniform return of lithium ions to cathode oxide material upon discharge. Additionally, our results highlight the preservation of oxygen levels in cathode chemistry during charging and discharging, except for its involvement in lithium intercalation. We also address the challenges associated with windowless EDS detectors for lithium detection based on published literatures. Expanding our investigations, we present novel results of FIB-SIMS at cryogenic conditions, unveiling the distribution of lithium and sodium in an anode electrode. Moreover, we illuminate disparities in lithium detection between room temperature and cryogenic temperature acquisitions, providing insights into the behaviour of slow-charged graphite anodes. In this abstract, we extend our presentation to include X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) for the detection of organic and inorganic matter in battery electrodes. In summary, our work combines SEM-EDS PCA and FIB ToF-SIMS and XPS techniques to provide a comprehensive understanding of lithium-ion battery cathode, anode materials, contributing to advancements in energy storage technology. A method is proposed for measuring high-voltage charging potentials of dielectrics under ion irradiation by shifting the boundary of the bremsstrahlung X-ray spectrum. Since there is no bremsstrahlung output during Xe+ ion irradiation, it was proposed to use a probing electron beam to generate bremsstrahlung X-rays. To eliminate the effect of charge compensation on the surface, the value of the current of the probing probe of electrons was selected. The values of the equilibrium charging potentials of Al2O3 ceramics, Al2O3 sapphire, SiO2, and Teflon are obtained at different ion irradiation energies. Abstract:
Introduction: Indirect serum bio-markers present an acceptable noninvasive and cheap alternative for screening of significant liver fibrosis (SLF). Evaluation of their use in resource limited settings is important to determine their utility. Methods: We conducted a cross sectional study among 520 HIV infected and HIV uninfected adults attending care clinics in Kampala Uganda. Presence of SLF was determined using Fibroscan® liver stiffness measurement of ≥7.2KPa. The diagostic value of indirect serum bio-markers for diagnosis of SLF was evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUROC) using Fibroscan® as gold standard. Results: Overall AUROC values for Age Platelet Index (API), Aspartate to Alanine Ratio (AAR), AST-to-Platelet Ratio Index (APRI), Fibrosis Index based on 4 Factors (FIB-4) and Gamma glutamyl transferase to Platelet Ratio Index (GPR) were 0.52, 0.49, 0.55, 0.55 and 0.54 respectively. Among HIV-infected participants AUROC values were slightly improved at predicting presence of SLF but still under 70%. Conclusion: Despite APRI and FIB-4 being more likely to identify participants with SLF, the overall diagnostic value of all serum bio-markers was poor with and without stratification by HIV status. We recommend the use of Fibroscan® technology as more accurate non-invasive diagnostic method for screening of SLF. Abstract:
Digital finance and financial inclusion are considered to be significant development strategies in many economies. Promoting both of these strategies helps increase environmental sustainability. Access to financing improves people's ability to engage in economic activities that degrade the environment. The goal of this research is to look at the impact of digital finance and financial inclusion on environmental sustainability in a few emerging Asian countries. From 2015 through 2021, the research study used quantitative secondary annual data acquired from World Development Indicators provided by the World Bank. The study's dependent variable is environmental sustainability, as measured by carbon dioxide emissions (CO2-EMS), and the independent variables are mobile money transactions (MMT), automated teller machines (ATMs), financial institution’s branches (FIB), and deposit accounts (DACC). The study also used some control variables, like population growth (POPG), industrialization (IND), and financial literacy (FL). The panel data from ten Asian nations was analyzed by using a fixed- or random-effects model. The outcomes revealed that mobile money transactions (MMT), automated teller machines (ATMs), and financial institution’s branches (FIB) have a significant negative relationship with CO2-EMS, whereas deposit accounts (DACC) have a significant positive association with CO2-EMS. The study has significant implications for countries seeking to improve their overall energy efficiency, thereby reducing environmental degradation. Countries should modernize technology and implement improved environmental practices to help improve environmental sustainability. In order to attain economic success and environmental sustainability, policymakers should develop policies that increase digital financial inclusion. Abstract:
Objectives: Chronic hepatitis is a clinical and pathological condition defined by etiological, clinical, and pathological aspects, in which inflammation in the liver continues for more than six months. Hepatitis B virus is one of the most important causes of etiology. Although liver biopsy is accepted as the gold standard test, there is a need to search for an alternative method due to the risk of complications, invasiveness, and cost. Our aim in this study was; to evaluate the predictive value of calculating fibrosis four scores (FIB -4), age platelet index (API), AST ALT ratio (AAR), AST platelet ratio index (APRI), Hui score, Goteburg University cirrhosis index (GUCI) indices in relation to liver biopsy in patients with chronic hepatitis B diagnosis who have not received any treatment before. Methods: The study included treatment-naive cases who underwent liver biopsy at Ankara University School of Medicine Hospitals Gastroenterology Clinics between March 2013 and November 2017 and at Ankara City Hospital Gastroenterology Clinic between 2019-2021. Non-invasive scores of the cases were evaluated simultaneously with liver biopsy. Results: A total of 159 patients, 45 (28.3%) female and 114 (71.7%) male, were included in our study. Eight non-invasive fibrosis markers were used, including APRI, FIB-4, AAR, API, CDS, Lok, GUCI, and Hui. GUCI and Hui non-invasive fibrosis markers were numerically superior to all other parameters in differentiating mild hepatitis from severe hepatitis and patients with cirrhosis, without cirrhosis. In the comparison of area under – receiver operating characteristic (AUROC) values using the Hanley-McNeal test to differentiate the cirrhosis patient from the non-cirrhosis patient, statistical superiority was found only against AAR and API (p<0.001, p<0.001). Conclusion: Although many markers were found successful in our study, AUC values were not significantly superior to each other, and we determined that they could not be an alternative to liver biopsy on their own. Abstract:
The utilization of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) as an energy provider using hydrogen as a fuel has increased drastically. The reasons are the current limitation of fossil fuel-based devices, pollutants-free, high efficiency, and zero-carbon emission. The life-cycle assessment results of this type of fuel cell have also indicated the lowest contribution to global warming, human health, and resource scarcity in comparison to other types of fuel cells. In this regard, improving the performance of PEMFC is of importance. As an important component of the PEMFC, the gas diffusion layer (GDL) transports the gas reactants to the catalyst layer with the least electrical resistance. The GDL is often made of carbon fibers and should have a surface with good electrical contact and hydrophobic properties to facilitate the water removal. Remaining water in the GDL will result in difficulties during the cold-start and enhances the degradation of this layer. It is believed that the water removal of the GDL has a direct relationship with the capillary pressure, which is strongly linked to the GDL’s microstructure and wettability. However, further investigations can be done once a comprehensive simulation model is developed to monitor the changes in the GDL liquid removal by the effective parameters. In this regard, the Focused Ion Beam-Scanning Electron Microscopy (FIB-SEM) has been used to perform three-dimensional cross-section imaging of the GDL. The GDL samples are provided by Freudenberg in which the Microporous layer (MPL) is impregnated into the GDL. The average porosity of this sample is in the range of 75% while having the in-plane gas permeability of 2.4 under a compressive stress of 1 MPa. The utilized resin for FIB-SEM imaging is a mixture of Epoxy embedding medium (diglycidyl ether of bisphenol – A) with two different hardeners DDSA (2-Dodecenylsuccinic anhydride) and MNA (Methylnadic anhydride), which will be mixed with DPM – 30 [2,4,6 – Tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol] as the accelerator, all provided by Sigma Aldrich. After the preparation of the resin, 0.4 gr of Cobalt (II) acetylacetonate nanoparticles (supported by Sigma Aldrich) were added to 7.14 ml of the resin to improve the contrast of the images. The samples were impregnated with the resin under vacuum to be pressurized (3 MPa) for 20 minutes, and afterward, heated in an oven at 60℃ for 12 hours. The surfaces for analyses were cut by a diamond wire, polished by abrasive plates down to 0.1 and gold coated (20nm). FIB-SEM acquisition consisted of the polishing of cross-sections with a focused ion beam (LMIS Ga+ source) at 30 keV and 1 nA (Zeiss Crossbeam 540), followed by imaging with an electron beam at acceleration voltages of 1.0, 3.0 kV. Milling and imaging were performed at a working distance of 5.2 mm and stage tilt of 54°, i.e., the coincidence point of the electron and ion beams. Once the three-dimensional cross-sections of the GDL are obtained, the segmentation and reconstruction will be made to provide the needed geometry for fluid flow simulation and to calculate the microstructural properties. Fig. 1 shows the generated structure of the GDL after the segmentation and reconstruction of the cross-section images. Abstract:
Abstract Millennials need English because the boundaries between countries are no longer visible. This makes us have to be able to communicate using international languages, and English is one of them. However, the impact of implementing the 2013 curriculum on reducing the number of hours for several subjects including English subjects reduced the effort to learn the language. Need a strategy to facilitate mastery of the language. Focusing on language skills such as speaking, writing, listening and reading is one way. Seeing the complex problem of mastering the language, students of SMPN 1 Angkola Barat need help to master English. This assistance is only temporary because after that students are expected to be able to independently make efforts to improve their language skills. These things are the focus of community service carried out by FIB Unsoed lecturers. Formal classes that cannot provide writing competence training are the main background for this service. Thus, the purpose of this service is to improve writing skills through English literacy activities. The methods used are lectures, posters and workshops. The result of this service is a collection of short story books with 18 stories in it, which is proof of the success of this service. Keywords: writing, reading, literacy, book level

Abstract:
Introduction: NAFLD is diagnosed by non-invasive and invasive methods. Non-invasive methods include NAFLD fibrosis score, AST/Platelets ratio index (APRI), FIB-4 score, BARD score, USG abdomen, Fibro-scan liver, transient elastography, MRI and MRI with elastography (MRE). Objectives: To determine the frequency of different grades of fibrosis on shear wave elastography in patients with NAFLD and to compare mean NAFLD fibrosis score in different stages of liver fibrosis. Study design: Cross-sectional study. Study duration: 26th February 2021 to 25th August 2021. Settings: Department of Gastroenterology SZH, Lahore. Materials & Methods: A total of 197 patients with NAFLD of age 18-70 years were included. Patients with hepatitis B and/or C infection, hemochromatosis, Wilson’s disease, Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, celiac disease, autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis, primary sclerosing cholangitis were excluded. Hepatic ultrasonographic examination was performed. Blood samples were taken in a 10cc BD syringe and were sent for assessment of PT/INR, LFTs including albumin, platelets count and fasting or random glucose level. Reports were assessed and the NAFLD fibrosis scores were calculated. Shearwave elastography was used as gold standard test for the detection and confirmation of liver fibrosis; and results were compared. Results: Age range in this study was from 18 to 70 years with mean age of 49.30 ± 12.05 years. Majority of the patients 145 (73.60%) were between 41 to 70 years of age. Out of these 197 patients, 80 (40.61%) were males and 117 (59.39%) were females with male to female ratio of 1:1.5. In this study, frequency of different grades of fibrosis on shear wave elastography in patients with NAFLD was as follows; F0 in 44 (22.34%), F1 in 89 (45.18%), F2 in 31 (15.74%), F3 in 22 (11.17%) and F4 in 11 (5.58%) patients. Conclusion: This study concluded that non-invasive NAFLD fibrosis score should be used to rule out the presence or absence of liver fibrosis by using simple clinical and biochemical variables and thus avoid the need of liver biopsy. Abstract:
The scientific work is devoted to the improvement of the calculation methodology of reinforced concrete elements, using verification of the FRP delamination prevention, during structures strengthening with a system of composite materials (SCM) from various fibers types. During strengthening of reinforced concrete elements with composite material systems, the role of adhesion between concrete and FRP is of great importance due to the fragility of the failure mechanism due to delamination (loss of adhesion). The adhesion strength is generally much higher than the tensile strength of the concrete, so delamination always starts in concrete itself with the separation of FRP layer of different thickness. According to the load-bearing capacity requirements, such a failure mechanism should not precede the failure of the strengthened element during bending or shear. To solve the problem of possible strengthening delamination of composite materials systems, it is necessary to consider different failure modes of FRP. Due to imperfection of domestic building codes, a detailed analysis of the solution to the problem of FRP delamination was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of a number of foreign regulatory documents (ACI, CNR, FIB). The main failure modes, with subsequent initiation of delamination of FRP material from concrete base, are systematized, namely: FRP delamination due to surface irregularities, separation of FRP due to shear cracks, longitudinal shear stresses in the yield zone, excessive deformations in FRP material (FRP rupture), longitudinal shear stresses near the FRP edges, failure in anchoring (fixing) zone of FRP material. Six criterions are proposed that need to be verified during design of structures strengthening systems with FRP materials. During formulation of specified criterions, the main theoretical aspects necessary for application in structural calculations of the studied connection are given. The results of research can be used in future during the design of structures joints strengthening with systems of composite materials based on carbon fibers, glass, aramid. Keywords: system of composite materials, external reinforcement, FRP strengthening, reinforced concrete, failure mode, calculation, delamination.

Abstract:
Aim: to evaluate the effect of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) on hepatic fibrosis and steatosis, dyslipidemia, carbohydrate metabolism, and litholysis of cholesterol gallstones in patients with a combination of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and gallstone disease (GD). Patients and Methods: a prospective monocenter study was conducted, which included patients with NAFLD and GD at the age of 19 to 65 years. The diagnosis was established on the basis of clinical, laboratory, ultrasound and radiological data. The nature and incidence of comorbid pathology were assessed. The degree of hepatic fibrosis and steatosis was determined according to the abdominal MSCT and serum tests of liver fibrosis (FIB 4, APRI) and hepatic steatosis (FLI), as well as liver elastography. All patients received UDCA at a dose of 15 mg/kg for 6 months. Results: 85 patients were included in the study, 59 (70%) of them were female, the mean age was 49.3±9 years. Gallstones of low density (up to 75 HU) were detected in 45 (52%) patients who made up the group 1, of high density (75–120 HU) — in 40 (48%) patients included in the group 2. 42 (49%) patients had comorbidity. In group 2, comorbid pathology was significantly more common and the degree of hepatic steatosis and fibrosis was higher. During treatment with UDCA, the positive trend in group 1 was expressed in a significant decrease in the gallstone density and size, normalization of liver density, cytolysis and cholestasis indicators, improvement of carbohydrate metabolism, and regression of hepatic steatosis according to MSCT and elastography. In group 2, there was a decrease in bile density and gallstone size according to MSCT, as well as a positive trend of lipidogram, HOMA-IR index, hepatic density and steatosis according to MSCT and elastography. Conclusion: the use of UDCA in patients with NAFLD and GD as pathogenetic therapy has a positive effect on hepatic fibrosis and steatosis, dyslipidemia, carbohydrate metabolism, and provides litholysis of cholesterol stones, mainly with a density of less than 75 HU. Abstract:
The mass spectra of mononucleotides and their metal adducts Na, K, Mg, Ca, Ni, Co, Cu, and Zn of guanosine 5′-monophosphate (5′-GMP) as well as H, Na, and Mg of adenosine 5′-monophosphate (5′-AMP) and H and Ni of inosine 5′-monophosphate (5′-IMP) have been obtained in low concentrations of matrix in water using continuous-flow fast atom bombardment. The results indicate that this technique is suitable for the analysis of these complexes in aqueous media and yields spectra that are highly characteristic of the compounds analyzed. Parent-molecular ions and structurally significant fragment ions are observed for all compounds studied and the different binding sites for the metal on the nucleotides can be isolated from the fragment ions. Experimental parameters influencing the quality of the spectra such as flow rate, matrix concentration, matrix nature, and analyte concentration have been studied and optimized. For the thirteen compounds studied, it appears that continuous-flow FAB is superior to conventional FAB and that good quality spectra can be obtained with as little as 0.5% of added matrix thus minimizing spectral interferences. Water-quality monitoring using macroinvertebrates has been developed by several countries to determine their water qualities. Meanwhile in Indonesia, water quality monitoring has not been developed to adapt to Indonesia’s natural conditions. Some researchers use the existing biotic indices such as FBI, LQI, SIGNAL, and others. Therefore, this study aims to determine the status of water quality using several biotic indices and to compare the sensitivity and feasibility of indices on monitoring activities using simple matrix and Pearson correlation test. The interpretation results of FBI, LQI, and Singscore to determine water quality on each station in Brantas, Opak, Progo, and Cileungsi Rivers were different. The Pearson’s correlations test showed that the sensitivities are different between rivers. Those results are affected by the river conditions and also the activities around the rivers which release the pollution into the river. The FBI index showed the greatest score number of sensitivities among the other indexes. Keywords: macroinvertebrate, monitoring, river, sensitivity

Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is a construct that has been measured from two main dimensions: resource optimization and process innovation. The objective of this work is to corroborate the dual structure of entrepreneurship. An exploratory, transversal and psychometric work was carried out with a selection of sources indexed to national repositories. The findings were selected considering the period from the pandemic from December 2019 to April 2022, as well as the keywords of entrepreneurship, innovation and optimization. A factorial structure of two components was found that explained the highest percentage of variance. In relation to the state of the art, it is recommended to include the dimension of opportunism to increase the explained variance and adjust the model to the most recent studies that report a third dimension related to the opportunities of the health and economic crisis.

Abstract:
A series of 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (5-NO2-phen), 2,9-dimethyl- 1,10-phenanthroline (dmp), 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy), and 4,4′-dimethy-2,2′-bipyridine (dmb) metal complexes has been characterized using fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry (FAB MS). Intact cations are observed in the positive ion FAB mass spectra of all tetracoordinated complexes, [Ag(L)2]NO3, [Cu(L)2]2 SO4•5H2O, [Cu(L)2]SO4, and [Tl(L)2](ClO4), where L=bpy, phen, or dmp. Structurally significant fragment ions (ML2+, ML+, M+, and (L+H)+, where M+=metal ion) are also observed. Species such as Ag[Ag(L)2]NO3+, where L=bpy or phen, and Tl[Tl(phen)2](ClO4)+ are also seen. The hexacoordinate complexes, [Co(phen)3]Cl2, [Ru(bpy)Cl2], [Fe(phen)2(CN)2], [Fe(L)3](ClO4), where L=5-NO2-phen, dmb, or bpy, and [Fe(L)3]SO4, where L=bpy or phen, show intact cations in the positive ion spectra; [Ni(bpy)3]X2, where X=Cl−,Br−, NO3−, ClO4−, SCN−, and tartrate2−, and [Co(bpy)3](ClO4) do not. Generally, fragment ions such as ML3+, ML2X+, ML2+, MLX+, and (L+H)+ are observed, where X=singly charged intact anion or HSO4−. Comparison of FAB results with those of laser mass spectrometry (LMS) show that they are comparable, through reduction processes are more important for FAB. LMS always gave the intact cation while FAB was not consistent. Keywords: FAB mass spectrometry, phenanthroline complexes, bipyridine complexes, laser desorption mass spectrometry.

Abstract:
Background and objective: Climate change and its impact on carbon storage in urban trees is a topic that has received increasing attention. Related studies focusing on data collection and analysis-based programs, such as the Forestry Inventory Analysis (FIA) programme in the US, have presented remarkable approaches to obtaining integrated analysis estimates and its management structure from a long-term perspective. This study explored the FIA programme in the context of long-term management in relation to tree carbon-related data collection and analysis. Methods: For the analysis, this study employed bibliometric methods (network using VOSviewer and coordinated analysis using NVivo) and an analytical framework. The case study is based on FIA-related driver changes of the keywords 'carbon' and 'tree' as well as the FIA management structure, using place-keeping theory as an integrated analytical framework and as the approach to long-term management. Results: Analysing FIA shows long-term management which has run since 2010, revealing key issues and significant terms in six dimensions of place-keeping analytical frameworks: public-private partnership-based data collection and political support in policy, central and local government-integrated fundraising from income generation, active governance-formed community activities in governance, alliance-structured networks in partnerships, integrated or unified estimated structures in evaluation, and maintenance. The case analysis reveals the necessity of a long-term management approach that incorporates a carbon storage estimate-focused policy, integrated income-partnerships, expanded active governance, Private Public Community Partnership (PPCP) multi-sector partnerships, and data platform settings. Conclusion: Newly emerging urban tree management structures should be reflected first on establishing an integrated carbon neutrality-based estimating system and secondly, on building long-term management approaches to the system. This will ultimately allow for climate change adaptation to approach carbon neutrality.

Abstract:
The formation of four-coordinate haloboron cations from aliphatic tertiary amine adducts of the mixed boron trihalides by heavy halogen displacement has been systematically studied by 19F and 11B nuclear magnetic resonance and positive ion fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry (FAB). Low-steric-hindrance donor molecules readily displace bromide ion from tertiary amine – bromodifluoroborane adducts, D•BF2Br, to form difluoroboron cations D2BF2+ and DD′BF2+, but the corresponding dibromofiuoroborane and tribromoborane adducts are highly resistant to bromide ion displacement. Bis(tertiary amine)dichloroboron and -chloroiodoboron cations can be obtained by selective iodide displacement from D•BCl2I and D•BClI2. Fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry selectively detects the haloboron cations in preference to the neutral adducts in mixtures, and is a valuable complement to nmr in monitoring formation of the haloboron cations as well as any ionic by-products. Abstract:
Introduction: Flexible bronchoscopic intubation (FBI) is an important technique in managing an anticipated difficult airway, yet it is rarely performed and has a steep learning curve. We aim to evaluate if the integration of virtual reality gaming application into routine FBI training for emergency department doctors would be more effective than traditional teaching methods. Methods: We conducted a randomised controlled trial to compare self-directed learning using the mobile application, Airway Ex* in the intervention group versus the control group without use of the mobile application. All participants underwent conventional didactic teaching and low-fidelity simulation with trainer’s demonstration and hands-on practice on a manikin for FBI. Participants randomised to the intervention arm received an additional 30 minutes of self-directed learning using Airway Ex, preloaded on electronic devices while the control arm did not. The primary outcome was time taken to successful intubation. Results: Forty-five physicians (20 junior and 25 senior physicians) were enrolled, with male predominance (57.8%, 26/45). There was no difference in time taken to successful intubation (median 48 seconds [interquartile range, IQR 41–69] versus 44 seconds [IQR 37–60], P=0.23) between the control and intervention groups, respectively. However, the intervention group received better ratings (median 4 [IQR 4–5]) for the quality of scope manipulation skills compared to control (median 4 [IQR 3–4], adjusted P=0.03). This difference remains significant among junior physicians in stratified analysis. Conclusion: Incorporating virtual reality with traditional teaching methods allows learners to be trained on FBI safely without compromising patient care. Junior physicians appear to benefit more compared to senior physicians. Keywords: Airway management, emergency medicine, intubation, simulation education, virtual reality

Abstract:
Abstract. With growing competition for freshwater by industrialization and urbanization, brackish water irrigation has been increasingly used for agricultural production. One of major concerns is the accumulation of salt and its impacts on soil properties and crop yield. If properly managed, alternate irrigation with brackish and freshwater might alleviate the adverse impacts of salt on soil physicochemical properties and plant growth. To exploit proper alternate irrigation to minimize such impacts, a maize pot experiment was conducted at three stages (seedling, jointing and tasseling, and after tasseling) with three alternate irrigation methods (BFF: brackish-fresh-fresh, FBF: fresh-brackish-fresh, and FFB: fresh-fresh-brackish) and with three salinities (1.69, 4.81, and 7.94 dS m-1), respectively. The results show that compared to freshwater irrigation, alternate irrigation with high-salinity brackish water increased soil electrical conductivity by 4.1% to 207.4% and reduced soil infiltration rate by 19.2% to 51.9%. The adverse impacts were more prominent in FBF and FFB than in BFF due to the higher proportions of brackish water in FBF and FFB. High-salinity brackish water also caused salt stress on maize growth and decreased evapotranspiration, relative water content, intrinsic water use efficiency, and electron transport rate by 6.6% to 30.6%, 2.1% to 10.2%, 7.3% to 17.9%, and 7.2% to 39.6%, respectively, leading to reduced growth and productivity. The salt stress was more pronounced in BFF and FBF than in FFB because maize is more salt-sensitive during the vegetative stage. Overall, brackish water irrigation at the jointing and tasseling stage (FBF) caused the most severe impacts on both soil and maize, so freshwater is advocated at this stage. In BFF, due to sufficient freshwater irrigation at later stages, slightly saline irrigation can be applied at the seedling stage without evident adverse effects. Higher-salinity brackish water was used successfully in the after-tasseling stage (FFB), although salt leaching by off-season rainfall was needed after harvest for sustainable production. Background: Leukemias are classified as lymphoid or myeloid, dependent on the type of stem cell that is affected. In addition, leukemia is classified as chronic or acute. Acute leukemia is a production of bone marrow-derived immature cells (blasts), include solid organs or peripheral blood. The FAB Cooperative Group original classification scheme proposed to divide1 ALL into three subtypes (L1 - L3). Currently, the world health organization (WHO), modify FAB classification depending on immunophenotype. Symptoms presence of anemia, splenomegaly, and thrombocytopenia, and those are naturally present at diagnosis, indicating the degree to which leukemic lymphoblasts have replaced the bone marrow and the first mark to an ALL diagnosis is typically an abnormal complete blood count result. Objective: To introduce causes of acute lymphocytic leukemia, recent classification methods, diagnosis, and symptoms and diagnosis. Conclusion: Acute lymphocytic leukemia occurs due to a defect in the bone marrow and is classified into several types. The most important classification by the World Health Organization is depending on immunophenotype. The main symptoms are the increase in white blood cells with anemia and thrombocytopenia. Aim. Despite numerous scientific studies of possible causes of miscarriage, their etiology remains unclear in approximately 50% of cases. Investigate the prevalence of thrombophilia associated gene polymorphism FGB 455G/A, FII 20210 G/A, FV 1691G/A, ITGA2 807C/T, PAI-1 5G/4G and MTHFR 677C/T in women with sporadic and recurrent miscarriages. Methods. Group I included 35 women with sporadic miscarriage (SM), group II consisted of 57 women with recurrent miscarriage (RM) and 55 women of control group. Genetic testing was performed by PCR-RFLP. Results. In group I of women with SM the 455GA genotype of the FGB gene was more common and its presence in the genotype increases the risk of SM by 4 times and the presence of the 455A allele by 2 times. The Leiden mutation increases the risk of SM by 5 times. In II group of women with RM, the frequency of the 455 AA genotype of the FGB gene was more prevalent and the risk of RM was increased 2.5 times. It is shown that the risk of RM increases 4 times in the presence of the Leiden mutation. The 4G allele of the PAI-1 5G/4G polymorphism leads to a 2-fold increase in the risk of RM, and the presence of the 677TT genotype of the MTHFR gene increases the risk of RM by 3 times. Conclusions. Genetic factors of inherited thrombophilia alleles 455A of the FGB gene, 1691A of the FV gene, 4G of the PAI-1 gene and 677T of the MTHFR gene are alleles of significant risk of reproductive losses both sporadic and, to a greater extent, recurrent. on the contrary, good employees must also have a sense of belonging and high loyalty to the company where they work. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) in the form of a Limited Liability Company (PT) (hereinafter referred to as PTPN IV). In the context of state-owned PT, a good state-owned PT is a state-owned PT that can contribute to stakeholders to ensure public welfare. The instrument for PTPN IV to contribute to stakeholders in order to ensure the realization of public welfare is the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). In addition, in implementing GCG it is also necessary to apply Good Corporate Culture (GCC) because GCG and GCC have a very close relationship. GCG is the visible side of the company, while the GCC is the inside side of the company or the value side of corporate management. Assets with a total value of more than Rp. 14 trillion must be secured for the sustainability and sustainability of the company's business wheels. The safeguarding of these assets must start from the smallest, an example in this study is the security of oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) which are often stolen, both by “ninja”, and “mafias”. Various modes of crime surfaced, such as theft of FFB; trimming FFB; land grabbing; employee abuse; darkening of the core & Crude Palm Oil (CPO); and employee mistreatment.
