Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to discover The Portrayal of Merrick Rocha’s Loneliness in “Taken” by Kellie Maine using Psychological Approach. The loneliness issue and its impacts were able to be perceived by discovering the reasons and the impacts of loneliness. Qualitative research was held in this study. The result of this study showed that the writer could find four reasons of Merrick Rocha’s loneliness and three positive ways to reduce his loneliness inside Taken by Kelli Maine. Those four reasons behind Merrick Rocha’s loneliness are (1) Being Unattached, (2) Alienation, (3) Being Alone, and (4) Dislocation. For the ways or impacts of loneliness, this study found three positive impacts such as (1) Active Solitude, (2) Distraction by Spending Money, (3) Active Solitude. The negative one (4) Sad Passivity does not exist in the novel because Merrick Rocha’s loneliness

Abstract:

(francuski) Le petit monast?re de Karyes appel? tou? Plaka a ?t? fonde vers le milieu du XIe siecle. Les signatures de ses higoum?nes figurant sur les actes du Protaton de la Sainte Montagne r?v?lent que cet ?tablissement s?est rapidement range au nombre des monast?res influents. Ceci ressort ?galement de donn?es nous apprenant que deux de ses moines ont ?t? grands ?conomes (1081,1322) et deux autres ?pierr?tes de l?Athos (1294, 1344-1347). Ce monast?re s?est maintenu en tant que tel vraisemblablement jusqu?a la troisi?me d?cennie du XIVe si?cle, lorsque ses repr?sentants commencent a signer avec le terme o Plakaj, que nous comprenons comme celui de Plaka. La r?gression de Plaka au rang de kellion pourrait ?tre mise en relation avec quelque incursion de grande ampleur des Turcs visant Karyes, laquelle se serait ?galement traduite par la d?vastation de plusieurs autres ?tablissements monastiques non prot?ges. Apres 1322, nous ne disposons d?aucune donn?e sur tou? Plaka durant plus de deux d?cennies, et ce jusqu?en septembre 1344, lors qu?un acte du protos Isaac est signe par Th?ophile o Plakaj, epiterete de la Sainte Montagne. Ce dernier ?tait alors aussi membre d?une direction coll?giale de l?Athos, form?e en l?absence du protos Isaac. En d?cembre 1347, un protos, a ce qu?il semble, le serbe Antoine, c?d?, et ce a la demande de l?empereur Stefan Du{an, le kellion appel? Plaka dans la pleine possession du petit monast?re de Saint-Sabbas, hesychasterion de Chilandar. Au titre de cette tradition en faveur de leur monast?re, les moines de Saint-Sabbas devaient, selon l?usage, verser annuellement au Protaton quatre litres de vin et trois litres d?huile. Toutefois, alors que par sa subordination a un autre monastere, tout kellion perdait son statut de personne morale, on constate que Theophile moine et epiterete o Plakaj apparait comme signataire sur le document de d?cembre 1347 par lequel tou? Plaka est c?d? a Saint-Sabbas. Apres cela, et ce durant une longue p?riode on ne trouve aucune signature de repr?sentants tou? Plaka sur les actes de l?Athos. Puis, de 1362 a 1366, on a a nouveau, sur plusieurs d?cisions prises par le protos serbe Dorothee, la signature d?un autre moine du m?me nom - Theophile o Plakaj. Nous savons aussi qu?a partir de 1363 ce dernier r?side au monast?re tou? Menetze et qu?en janvier 1366 il signe en tant que son higoum?ne. A ce qu?il semble ce s?jour a Menetze n??tait toutefois que provisoire. Enfin, un moine o Plakaj - Theodose, Teophile, puis, de nouveau Teodose, participe au travail du Conseil du protos serbe Sava en 1369 et 1371. Tou Plaka apparait ensuite au nombre des kellia que le protos Gerasimos entreprend de recouvrer en faveur du Protaton, ?pres leur remise a divers monast?res par les protoi serbes. Mais, satisfaisant aux dol?ances des moines de Chilandar, ce dernier leur c?d? a nouveau ce m?me ?tablissement en 1375 dans leur pleine possession. Et, a nouveau, l?acte correspondant porte, aux cotes de celles des autres membres du Conseil du protos Gerasimos, la signature du moine Theophile o Plakaj. Par ailleurs, les repr?sentants tou Plaka, a savoir les moines Teodose et Theophile, y compris ?pres cette remise de leur kellion a Chilandar, continuent de participer au travail du Conseil des protoi Gerasimos (1375) et Chariton (1376 et 1377). Il semble qu??pres 1377 Teodose de Plaka ait rejoint le monast?re tou Serviotou. La participation d?un moine o Plakaj au travail du Conseil du protos, et c?y compris ?pres la cession de son kellion, tout d?abord au petit monastere Saint-Sabbas (1347), c.-a-d. a l? hesychaterion de Chilandar puis directement a ce monastere (1375), peut s?expliquer, selon nous, d?une part par le prestige dont jouissait tou Plaka au Protaton et, d?autre part, de toute ?vidence, par certains changements enregistres a l?Athos au cours du XIVe si?cle. Dans ce m?me cadre on peut ici noter les efforts de Saints-Sabbas et de ses moines visant a assurer l?ind?pendance de ce kellion vis-a-vis de Chilandar, alors que starac (geron) de cet ?tablissement participe parfois, lui aussi, au travail du Conseil du protos (ca 1332 et f?vrier 1369). En cons?quence il ?tait acceptable que starac tou Plaka, de toute ?vidence en tant que kellion prestigieux et r?pute de Karyes particip?t, en tant que geron du Protaton au travail du Conseil du protos y compris a l?epoque ou ce kellion etait subordonne a Chilandar. Il semble que l?on perde toute trace de l?ancien monast?re, et par la suite kellion, tou Plaka, ainsi que de quelques autres ?tablissements monastiques, avant la fin du XIVe si?cle. Pour des raisons que nous ignorons, peut-?tre par crainte des attaques des Turcs, certains des habitants de Plaka ont provisoirement s?journe dans les monast?res tou Menetze et peut-?tre tou Serbiotou, qui ?taient assur?ment des ?tablissement offrant une plus grande s?curit?.

Abstract:

Jonah Lehrer könyve a döntéshozatali folyamatokat vizsgálja és mutatja be kifejezetten szemléletes gyakorlati példákon keresztül. Az írás alapkérdéseit a szerző így fogalmazza meg: „Hogyan hoz döntéseket az emberi elme? És hogyan lehet ezeken a döntéseken javítani?” (Lehrer, 2012). A döntéshozatali mechanizmusok meghatározzák a mindennapjainkat. Igaz ez a munkahelyi életünkre csakúgy, mint a magánéletünkre. A tudomány képviselői évszázadok óta a racionális agy felsőbbrendűségét hirdetik. A különböző tudományágak egyöntetűen a tiszta rációra alapozott döntéseket tartják helyesnek és egyedül elfogadhatónak. Lehrer könyve ennél jóval szofisztikáltabb képet ad az emberi agy döntéshozatali mechanizmusáról. Rávilágít arra, hogy az evolúció során kialakult egyes agyterületek hogyan járulnak hozzá az egyes döntési folyamatokhoz. Gyakorlati példákon keresztül mutatja be az érzelmek és a racionalitás viszonyát a döntéshozatalok során.

A szerző álláspontja szerint a hazai népegészségügy megújításra szorul, mert – az Európai Unió országaihoz és különösen a Visegrádi országokhoz viszonyítva – a magyar lakosság egészségi mutatói egyre inkább lemaradást mutatnak. Ennek oka a szerző szerint az, hogy a szakma nem volt képes kiharcolni az „Egészséget minden szakpolitikába” elv érvényre juttatását. A megújításhoz egyrészt meg kellene erősíteni a hazai népegészségügyi szakma alapjait, másrészt tevékenységeibe más tudományágak képviselőit kellene bevonnia. Abstract:

Az utóbbi években egyre jobban elterjedt a fenntarthatóság, a fenntarthatóságra való nevelés. Ezek kapcsán sajnálatos módon a világ számos kihívással néz szembe. Ide tartozik a nem fenntartható fogyasztás és termelés, az éghajlatváltozás és a Föld folyamatosan növekvő szennyezése. Ennek eredményeképpen egyre nagyobb figyelmet kellene fordítanunk a környezetvédelemre, egyre több fenntartható mezőgazdaságból származó terméknek kellene a polcokra kerülnie, egyre több környezetbarát csomagolást kellene használnunk, illetve ezekkel együtt egyre több erőfeszítést kellene tennünk a véges energiaforrások megújuló energiaforrásokkal való helyettesítésére. A környezeti fenntarthatóság szempontjából nézzük a valóságot az figyelhető meg, hogy hulladékhegyek úsznak az óceánokban, egyre több genetikailag módosított növény kerül az élelmiszerláncba, programozott elavulásról beszélnek a szakértők, illetve, az energiafelhasználás folyamatosan növekszik. Mindezek miatt tanulmányunkban célul tűztük ki, hogy átfogó képet alkossunk a csomagolásmentességről, annak megítéléséről és jövőbeli lehetőségeiről. Kutatásunkban megvizsgáljuk, hogy az emberek mennyi ismerettel rendelkeznek az újrahasznosíthatóságról, vásárláskor mennyire veszik figyelembe, hogy a megvásárol árunak milyen anyagból készült a csomagolása, milyen formában és mértékben végzik a hulladékok szelektálását, illetve hogyan látják a csomagolásmentesség jövőbeni lehetőségeit.

AbstractThis article contains a first edition of two wooden mini-codices found during Australian excavations at Ismant el-Kharab (ancient Kellis) in the Dakhleh Oasis (Egypt). The first codex contains fifteen Greek hexameters belonging to an anonymous and unknown parody of Homer; the second codex contains three Greek division tables. Both texts date from the fourth century CE and apparently come from a local school.

Abstract:

A klímapolitikában a klímavédelemről a hangsúlyt át kellene tenni az alkalmazkodásra, azonban még nem tudjuk, hogy milyen konkrét klímaállapothoz kellene igazodni a különféle alkalmazkodási módoknak. Az alkalmazkodás három összetevője közül legproblematikusabb az emberek cselekvő viszonya a klímaváltozáshoz, mivel még a „klímatudatosak" is ténylegesen keveset tesznek a kedvezőtlen következményekhez vezető változások visszafogása érdekében. A klímavédelem és a klímához való alkalmazkodás közötti viszony érdemi tisztázása nélkül a klímapolitika tévútra tévedhet. Ügyelni kell arra, hogy ne kerüljön sor a klímavédelemmel nem harmonizáló (technokrata szemléletből adódó) alkalmazkodási módokra. Az alkalmazkodás legcélravezetőbb módjának megválasztása nem dönthető el kizárólag gazdasági szempontok érvényesítésével.

Abstract:

The Chigi Codex occupies a place of honour among music manuscripts of the Renaissance; thirteen masses by Ockeghem along with L'homme armé masses by Josquin, Busnoys, Brumel and Compère figure prominently among its contents. According to Herbert Kellman, it was copied between 1498 and 1503 for the Burgundian nobleman Philippe Bouton. Several coats of arms of the Spanish families Cardona and Fernández de Córdoba appear in different places in the manuscript and Kellman suggested that the transfer of the Chigi Codex to the Spaniards occurred after the death of its first owner in 1515. Seven works, the foliation in the upper right margin of the recto folios and a table of contents with a heading that reads Tabla de missas y motetes were added by a Spanish scribe. Since Mouton's motet Quis dabit oculis, written on the death of Anne of Brittany in 1514, is also among the added works, Kellman concluded that these additions to the Chigi Codex were made after that date. The assumption that the manuscript travelled to Spain is further supported by a seventeenth-century inscription written in Italian on the flyleaf of the manuscript, which affirms that the book was used in Spain.

Abstract:

The article is devoted to a comprehensive understanding of the theory of translingualism. Its author, Professor Steven Kellman, discusses the essence of the term he proposed in the context of world literature, citing numerous examples of translingual imagination. Based on the work of writers such as Joseph Conrad, Vladimir Nabokov and others, Professor Kellman demonstrates how the mechanism of intercultural and translational interaction of linguistic and extralinguistic elements works in each individual case. The theory of translingualism enriched the cycle of the humanities (from linguistics to cultural studies, from literary criticism to philosophy) with a new popular episteme, which the editorial board gladly shares with our readers.

Jelen tanulmány a diszlexiával küzdő tanulók német nyelvtanulásának sajátosságaihoz nyújt újabb információkat a tanulók nyelvi lexikális hálózatának felmérése által. A tanulmányban többek között arra kerestük a választ, hogy milyen jellemző jegyei jelennek meg a diszlexiának az idegen nyelvtanulásban? Valóban minden diszlexiás gyermeket fel kell menteni az idegen nyelvtanulása alól, vagy léteznek olyan utak, melyek elvezethetnek a nyelvtudás kialakulásához? Célunk a magyar anyanyelvű németül tanuló diszlexiások nyelvi tudásának mérése általi tanítási tapasztalatok levonása. Módszer: diszlexiások lexikális hálózatának felmérése szóasszociációs feladattal. Minta: 19 tanulási zavarral küzdő tanulót vizsgáltunk. Következtetés: Vizsgálati eredményeink azt bizonyítják, nem felmenteni kellene a diszlexiával küzdő gyermekeket, hanem az erősségeikre támaszkodva, más úton kellene átadni a tudást.

Ma Magyarországon kb. 200 városi funkciójú s közel 300 városi ranggal rendelkező település található. A nagyszámú városi funkció nélküli város léte felveti a kérdést: nem kellene-e a várossá nyilvánítás kritériumait szigorítani (vagyis „lefékezni" a várossá nyilvánítások ütemét), illetve várossá fejleszthető-e a közel száz „faluváros". A szerz ők szerint ez utóbbira sem lehet őség, sem szükség nincs – az ország településeinek városi javakkal való zavartalan ellátása, legfeljebb a „valódi" városok számának minimális növelése szükséges –, a várossá nyilvánítás szigorításának pedig az igazságosság elve mond ellent (mert ekkor a már birtokon belül lévők városi címének jogosságát is meg kellene kérdőjelezni). Vagyis nem indokolt változtatni a várossá nyilvánítási gyakorlaton.

Abstract:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis corak komposisi Data dan cerita dalam setiap penyampaian cerita Malleleang Raunna La Oro Kelling di tengah khalayak Masyarakat Bugis di Kabupaten Wajo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Studi Pustaka, Wawancara, dan Pengamatan. Dalam pengelolaan data, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini menggambarkan langsung masalah penelitian tentang komposisi dalam konteks Spesifik Penyampaian La Galigo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk komposisi bahasa dalam naskah La Galigo Episode Malleleang Raunna La Worokelling, yakni bentuk majemuk yang unsur pertamanya menjadi pusat atau diterangkan oleh unsur penjelas atau menerangkan dan bentuk majemuk yang unsur-unsurnya tidak saling menerangkan, tetapi hanya berupa rangkaian yang sejajar atau kopulatif. Makna komposisi bahasa dalam naskah tidak bergantung dengan makna unsur yang membentuknya. Hal itu dikarenakan komposisi itu membentuk makna baru yang tidak sama dengan makna aslinya. Bentuk yang timbul dari proses komposisi bahasa Bugis dalam naskah La Galigo Episode Malleleang Raunna La Worokelling di Kabupaten Wajo ada lima, yaitu komposisi membentuk benda, komposisi membentuk kerja, komposisi membentuk sifat, komposisi membentuk keterangan, dan komposisi membentuk persona.

Abstract:

Between 2006 and 2013 J. Kellens published in five volumes (the last one together with C. Redard) a corrected version of the text edited by K.F. Geldner of the longest and most important Zoroastrian ritual usually known by the name of one of its variants as the Yasna. The text accompanies an experimental translation and both are followed by a commentary. J. Kellens is pioneering in translating and studying, not only the standard daily variant of the liturgy, but also its more solemn version. Furthermore, his work is the first attempt to read the complete text of the liturgy as the coherent text (although produced at different times) of an old and meaningful liturgy, although it has been traditionally understood as a late composition. As it appears in the manuscripts and is celebrated still today in India, the liturgy is the result of a series of conscious interpretations, reinterpretations and rearrangements of older versions. Despite of this, it is a coherent text and ritual in which each section of the liturgy plays a concrete role that J. Kellens has tried to bring to light for the first time. In the present review, I try to highlight the extraordinary importance of Kellens’ new approach to the Zoroastrian Long Liturgy and to expose his main achievements. At the same time, I expose the main weaknesses of this monumental work: 1. its dependence on the text edited by Geldner, which hides part of the ritual variety of the Long Liturgy; 2. the conscious disregard of the meta-ritual information provided by the Zoroastrian tradition about the performance of the liturgy; 3. J. Kellens’s Yasna-centrism that prevents him to recognize the close connections between the Long Liturgy and other minor rituals and the participation within the Long Liturgy of many short rituals that can be celebrated independently.
