Abstract:

O presente artigo propõe-se discutir panoramicamente sobre a problemática do diálogo inter-religioso, no contexto da situação pluralista das religiões na sociedade contemporânea, tomando como perspectiva contributiva à abordagem do teólogo alemão Jürgen Moltmann (1926). Para tanto, traçaremos panoramicamente o lugar, as perspectivas e as direções que constituem a chamada “teologia cristã das religiões” ou “teologia do pluralismo religioso”. Em seguida, apresentaremos de uma forma em geral, como se está posta a discussão sobre os eixos e formas do diálogo inter-religioso na reflexão da teologia das religiões. E por fim, desenvolveremos alguns apontamentos a respeito de tal questão, a partir da leitura tópica dos livros A Igreja no Poder do Espírito (1975) e Experiências de reflexão teológica (1999), em busca de elementos introdutórios para uma sinalização do prisma protestante acerca do diálogo entre o cristianismo e as religiões no mundo atual.

Jürgen Untermann, catedrático de Lingüística Comparada de la Universidad de Tübingen, ha sido uno de los principales impulsores del estudio de las lenguas prerromanas en la Península Ibérica. Sus Monumenta Linguarum Hispanicarum constituyen una obra de referencia y de obligada consulta en este campo. Pero además publicó otros muchos trabajos sobre estos temas, promovió los Coloquios sobre Lenguas y Culturas Paleohispánicas y, entre otras muchas actividades, fue editor la revista Beiträge zur Namenforschung. Su fi gura será sin duda un referente que perdurará en el tiempo en todo lo que se refiere al estudio de las lenguas y culturas paleohispánicas.

"Über fast vier Jahrzehnte hinweg hat Jürgen Hoffmann eine Fülle von Publikationen zu ganz unterschiedlichen Bereichen vorgelegt. Allerdings gibt es auch einige wiederkehrende Themen, die ihn sein Leben lang beschäftigt haben, insbesondere die Situation der Gewerkschaften und die kapitalistischen Krisen. Um Krisen ging es bereits 1979, damals bezogen auf die Entwicklung der Bundesrepublik, in dem zusammen mit Elmar Altvater und Willi Semmler verfassten Band Vom Wirtschaftswunder zur Wirtschaftkrise. Später erweiterte Jürgen Hoffmann sowohl den zeitlichen Horizont wie die disziplinäre Perspektive. Aus einer Vorlesung zur Einführung in die Politische Geschichte, die er Anfang der 1990er Jahre an der damaligen Hochschule für Politik und Wirtschaft in Hamburg hielt, entstand sein opus magnum die Monographie Politisches Handeln und gesellschaftliche Struktur – Grundzüge deutscher Gesellschaftsgeschichte, die 1996 erstmals erschien. Im Zentrum seines Interesses stand, wie er es selbst im Vorwort formuliert, die „Darstellung sozialer Gegensätze und die Analyse des Verhältnisses von Politik und Ökonomie/Gesellschaft“. Der Bogen, den er dabei spannte, reicht vom Untergang des weströmischen Reiches und dem System feudaler Herrschaft über das Ancien Régime, das Kaiserreich und den Nationalsozialismus bis zum Ende der „alten Bundesrepublik“ nach dem „Beitritt“ der DDR..."

Vorspann Gibt es Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen Konservativer Revolution und Frankfurter Schule? Angesichts ihrer ähnlich ausgeprägten Abneigung gegenüber dem Liberalismus ist die Frage, welche Anleihen ein Walter Benjamin oder ein Jürgen Habermas bei dem umstrittenen Weimarer Staatsrechtler Carl Schmitt genommen haben, bis heute umstritten. Ebenso gilt dies für das politische Denken des linkssozialistischen Schmitt-Schülers Otto Kirchheimer, über den bislang aber relativ wenig bekannt ist. Vor diesem Hintergrund untersucht Riccardo Bavaj Kirchheimers intellektuelle Entwicklung von seiner Promotion im Jahr 1928 bis zur nationalsozialistischen Machtübernahme 1933.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT: Dr. Jürgen Döbereiner was born in Germany, on the 1st of November 1923, and lived in Brazil for 68 years during which time he developed a range of scientific projects in veterinary pathology and related disciplines. His main interests were the identification of new poisonous plants and mineral deficiencies and the causes of “cara inchada” (“swollen face” a periodontal disease) and botulism in livestock. This research has resulted in the improved health and saving of hundreds of thousands of animals, mainly cattle, annually, and is consequently of enormous economic value to the country. This contribution remains largely under appreciated. He was also involved in organizing diagnostic methods for identifying infectious diseases such as African swine fever and glanders in horses. One of his other major achievements has been the foundation and editing of specialized scientific journals for the documentation of veterinary science research results. At the beginning of his career in the 1950s, he and colleagues from the Institute for Animal Biology (IBA) were struggling to find a national scientific journal where research results from veterinary medicine could be published with practical application to the Brazilian reality. In consequence, the team founded “Arquivos do Instituto de Biologia Animal” and published three volumes (1959-1961). He then founded and edited “Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira” (The Brazilian Journal of Agricultural Research”) that included a veterinary section. A series of veterinary volumes were published (1966-1976). Finally, in 1978 he helped create the Brazilian College of Veterinary Pathology (CBPA) that published “Pesquisa Veterinária Brasileira” (The Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research) from 1981. The main goal was to communicate the most relevant disease problems of Brazilian livestock, in particular pathology and related subjects such as epidemiology, clinical study series and laboratory diagnosis to field veterinarians and academics. Dr. Jürgen Döbereiner was president of CBPA (1978-2018) and chief editor of “Pesquisa Veterinária Brasileira” (1981-2018). He passed away on the 16th of October, 2018, at the age of 94 at his home in Seropédica/RJ, Brazil.

Abstract:

Jürgen Schardt legt eine umfassende Studie zur Architektur der Stadt- und Universitätsbauten in Frankfurt am Main von 1906 bis 1956 vor. Besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den gesellschaftlichen und politischen Rahmenbedingungen der Architekturproduktion und einer kritischen Revision der etablierten Historiografie der Goethe-Universität. Der Autor widmet sich in drei Teilen jeweils dem Kaiserreich und der Gründung der Hochschule im Jahr 1914, der Zeit der Weimarer Republik sowie der Jahre des Aufbaus nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Schardt untersucht die entstandenen Gebäude hinsichtlich schlüssiger Kriterien bürgerlicher Architektur, beleuchtet aber auch andere für die Hochschulgeschichte relevante Rahmenbedingungen. Die lesenswerte Studie verbindet dabei Aspekte der Sozial-, Wissenschafts- und Architekturgeschichte.

Social theory provides two opposing views about the role played by mass communications in modernizing America. Mass society theorists, including José Ortega y Gasset (1932), George Seldes (1938), and Joseph Bensman and Bernard Rosenberg (1963), and also critical theorists, especially Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno (1991 [1944]) and Jürgen Habermas (1989), maintained that the mass press weakens authentic forms of community, whereas, in contrast, Chicago School sociologists, especially Robert Park(1971 [1922]), contended that the newspaper, notably the ethnic press, buffers the individual against the brutalizing effects of the city’s impersonality and disorganization.Instead of encouraging reflective and rational thought, the commercial press, according to Habermas (1989: 195), is both emblem and harbinger of the decay of civil society as it reinforces the totalizing processes of modernity and offers the public crass and stultifying banalities.

Der Artikel stellt einen nach dem Erscheinen des Kritischen Berichts der NBA zu den Sonaten und Partiten für Violine solo neu entdeckten Überlieferungszweig dieser Werkgruppe vor. Resumo: O artigo em questão apresenta a construção coletiva de uma proposta pedagógica para a Escola Estadual Joaquim José de Medeiros, localizada na cidade de Cruzeta, no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, e possui como base epistemológica a teoria social de George Herbert Mead, Jürgen Habermas e a teoria crítica da educação da Escola de Frankfurt, nas perspectivas de Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno (2003), Jürgen Habermas (2012); e, atualmente, de pesquisadores contemporâneos como Freire (2009), Radl-Philipp (1996, 1998, 2014), Bannell (2006), Pucci (2006), Santos (2007), Medeiros (2010-1016), Casagrande (2014) dentre outros autores que estudam Mead e as teorias críticas numa perspectiva emancipatória. Principio de no ser juzgado dos veces por el mismo hecho (Non Bis in Ídem). Se invoca literatura, se citan constituciones políticas de varios países, entre ellos Colombia, instrumentos internacionales y pronunciamientos del Comité de Derechos Humanos de la ONU. Se cita a Jürgen Habermas. Contenido del principio Non Bis in Ídem y sus principales objetivos, cuales son la seguridad jurídica y la justicia material. Justicia Especial para la Paz (JEP) en Colombia como producto del Acuerdo de Paz Estado colombiano-FARC y el principio de no ser juzgado dos veces por el mismo hecho en el derecho laboral. Hemos escrito en este trabajo un análisis sobre el principio de no ser juzgado dos veces por el mismo hecho, conocido con el aforismo latino Non Bis in Ídem. Para esto hemos tomado la primera novela de la gran escritora inglesa Agatha Christie, maestra del crimen y del misterio: “El Misterioso Caso de Styles”, escrita en 1920.

Em uma era marcada por múltiplas plataformas de distribuição de conteúdo, oligopolização dos setores midiáticos e transnacionalização das indústrias culturais, não basta mais, para a mídia pública, informar, educar e entreter com independência e qualidade ética e estética como propôs a britânica BBC em 1927. Veículos financiados por recursos públicos precisam encontrar uma nova função social que os diferencie dos meios privados e justifique investimentos do Estado em comunicação. Para um crescente número de pesquisadores e analistas do tema, essa nova função é justamente a criação e fortalecimento de uma esfera pública midiática ampla, capaz de garantir aos cidadãos um espaço para o debate das questões coletivas, num processo que estimule a participação cidadã e a ação transformadora. Este artigo examina o papel dos serviços públicos de comunicação no século XXI a partir do pensamento do filósofo e sociólogo alemão Jürgen Habermas, cujo conceito de esfera pública, aperfeiçoado por outros autores, tornou-se central nas discussões sobre a construção de espaços midiáticos emancipatórios.

In an age marked by multiple distribution platforms of content, oligopoly of media sectors and transnational nature of cultural industries it is not any longer enough for the Public Broadcast to inform, educate and entertain with independence and technical, ethics and aesthetics quality, as proposed by the British BBC in 1927. Public Radio and Television need to find a new social function that distinguishes them from the private media and justify state investment in communication. A rising number of scholars point out that this new function is the creation and strengthening of a broad media public sphere able to guarantee citizens a space for debate on common issues, a process that encourages citizen participation and transformative action. This article examines the role of Public Broadcasting in the twenty-first century according to the media theories influenced by the thought of the German philosopher and sociologist Jürgen Habermas, whose concept of the public sphere has become central in discussions about building dialogic media spaces.

Jürgen Habermas (1929-) é um filósofo alemão e um dos mais influentes sociólogos do pós-guerra. Conhecido por suas teorias sobre o agir comunicativo e a esfera pública, é reconhecido internacionalmente como o principal representante da chamada “segunda geração” da Escola de Frankfurt. Também é considerado um dos mais importantes intelectuais contemporâneos. No presente trabalho, objetivamos refletir sobre o resgate promovido por este filósofo do projeto kantiano de esclarecimento (Aufklärung); movimento realizado em contraposição a tradição nietzschiana herdada por Adorno e Horkheimer, os quais entendem que, frente as aporias do mundo contemporâneo, esse projeto de emancipação nos termos apontados por Kant estaria dissipado.AbstractJürgen Habermas (1929-) is a German philosopher and one of the most influential postwar sociologists. Jürgen Habermas (b. 1929) has for decades been recognized as a leading European philosopher and public intellectual. But his global visibility has obscured his rootedness in German political culture and debate. The most successful historical accounts of the transformation of political culture in West Germany have turned on the concept of German statism and its decline. Viewing Habermas through this lens, I treat Habermas as a radical critic of German statism and an innovative theorist of democratic constitutionalism. Based on personal interviews with Habermas and his German colleagues, and by setting the major work alongside his occasion-specific political writings from 1984 to 1996, I interpret Habermas's political thought as an evolving response to two distinct moments in German history: first, the mid-1980s, and second, the revolutions of 1989 and German reunification in 1990. This essay challenges the dominant interpretations of Habermas's mature statement of his political theory. Between Facts and Norms: Contributions to a Discourse Theory of Democracy (1992), which have described it as marking a distinct break with, and reversal of, the commitments of his earlier work. By contrast, I describe the work as an intellectual summa, consistent with Habermas's previous thought and career, and containing remarkable historical interpretations of two intertwined phenomena: the intellectual and institutional dimensions of the Bonn Republic and Habermas's own biography.

Faltam estudos sobre as relações entre os Bispos católicos no Brasil em que fiquem demonstradas as práticas intersubjetivas de atuação enquanto grupo, os esforços coletivos de busca de consenso, como também diferenças, rivalidades, tensões e até conflitos. Este artigo analisa o conflito teológico-político entre o Arcebispo-Primaz, Dom Romualdo Antônio de Seixas (1787-1860), e o Bispo do Rio de Janeiro e Capelão-Mor da Casa Imperial, Dom Manoel do Monte Rodrigues de Araújo (1796-1863), pelo direito e privilégio de sagrar e coroar o jovem Dom Pedro II, em julho de 1841. Os dois bispos deixaram duas longas publicações, “Opúsculo sobre a questão que tivera o Excellentíssimo Arcebispo da Bahia e Metropolitano do Brasil D. Romualdo Antônio de Seixas, com o Bispo Capellão-Mór do Rio de Janeiro Manoel do Monte Rodrigues de Araújo...” (1841) de Dom Manoel do Monte, e “Memória apologética do Arcebispo da Bahia, Metropolitano e Primaz do Brasil, em resposta à um Opúsculo...” (1842) de Dom Romualdo de Seixas, em que relatam os fatos, a partir da ótica de cada um, e os argumentos jurídico-canônicos em defesa de suas posições. Para análise do caso optamos seguir o paradigma intersubjetivo proposto por Jürgen Habermas (1929) que está em ação no diálogo, na comunicação, na interação, especialmente, em situações de “conflitos moralmente relevantes”. A divergência intensa entre os dois Prelados revelou o grande distanciamento entre os bispos brasileiros e que nos remete para o problema do exercício de uma “colegialidade episcopal”.

A Escola de Frankfurt, desde 1930, foi dirigida por Max Horkheimer, e reunia pensadores como Theodor W. Adorno, Erich Fromm, Herbert Marcuse, e, contou também como membro do "círculo de fora" do Instituto, Walter Benjamin. Estes intelectuais formularam, como sabemos, o que conhecemos como "Teoria Crítica". Nos anos sessenta, temos a "segunda geração", marcado pela obra de Jürgen Habermas. Aquele que foi seu assistente entre 1984 e 1990, Axel Honneth, veio a ser o Diretor do Instituto frankfurtiano desde 2001. Com ele inaugura-se a "terceira geração" da Escola, cuja proposta consiste em relançar a "Teoria Crítica", sobretudo a partir do livro Kampf um Anerkennung. Zur moralischen Grammatik sozialer Konflikte, de 1992 (publicado no Brasil como Luta por reconhecimento - A Gramática Moral dos Conflitos Sociais. Trad. Luiz Repa. São Paulo: Ed. 34, 2003), tendo como ponto de partida a Fenomenologia do Espírito de Hegel. Honneth centra sua reflexão na "teoria do reconhecimento" e, através dela, são apresentados os limites da obra das gerações de frankfurtianos anteriores. A falta de reconhecimento passa a ser vista como base dos conflitos interpessoais, sociais e políticos na atualidade. Mais recentemente, Honneth publicou Das Recht der Freiheit (Berlin, Suhrkamp, 2011 - O direito à liberdade) e Die Idee des Sozialismus (Berlin, Suhrkamp, 2015 - A ideia do socialismo), sustentando que o socialismo está vivo como ideia, e tem como cerne a liberdade social. Foi em 2014, no Instituto de Pesquisas Sociais de Frankfurt, que aconteceu o encontro e a entrevista com o Diretor do Instituto, Axel Honneth. Abstract:

В публикации рассматривается уникальный для региона железный кинжал – баселард, происходящий с раскопа CLIII на территории Болгарского городища. Он представляет собой обоюдоострый клинок ромбовидного сечения с двумя долами, сходящимися к центру. Находка происходит с верхних горизонтов позднего золотоордынского слоя, датируемого концом XIV – первой половиной XV вв. Подобные кинжалы не типичны для памятников региона, и они не известны с территории Волжской Булгарии и Золотой Орды. Однако аналогичные находки кинжалов были обнаружены в Англии и северной Германии. Данный тип клинка был широко распространен в Центральной и Западной Европе в XIV–XV вв., появление которого традиционно связывают со швейцарским городом Базелем. Кинжал является импортом, и его появление в средневековом городе Болгаре, скорее всего, связано с европейскими торговцами.
