Vallée, Boris. "Normativité de l'internalité, jugement évaluatif et clairvoyance normative en contexte sportif : études menées en football." Bordeaux 2, 2005. http://www.theses.fr/2005BOR21278.
Full textTaking on the perspective of the theory of the norm of internality, we investigate its existence 1) in the causal attributions of young football players, and 2) in the evaluative judgments of football trainers. Studies 1a ans 1b demonstrate the presence of a norm of internality in the field of football. Considering the value of events, the categories of internality, and life domains, a differential normative activation appears. A second set of studies (studies 2a and 2b) show that 1) in a situation of detection, athletic criteria are predominant, while 2) in a situation of inclusion in a team, the normative dimension is central. Finally (study 3), focusing on normative clearsightedness (theoretically based on the content of educational applications experienced by the individual), trainig sessions employing separate methods (technical versus global) reveal a modest effect of globals methods on the degree of players’ normative clearsightedness

Full textAlthough they remain important areas of practice for women, aesthetic sports are the subject of very few sociological studies. Their interest lies in the fact that they differ from "ordinary" sporting activities, in that they maintain a strong proximity to cultural and artistic practices (Mennesson and Julhe, 2012). Physical appearance constitutes a central dimension of the practitioners' socialization, as well as of the judges' evaluations in these disciplines. Thus, the thesis focuses on the question of "bodily possibilities" (Schotté, 2016) offered to practitioners and judges, as expressed through their performance ratings. The ethnographic study has been carried out in two sports fields - twirling baton and rhythmic gymnastics - which are very similar in terms of motor and regulatory aspects. However, the two disciplines promote differentiated configurations of models of gender (Connell and Messershmidt, 2015). This can be explained by a discrepancy in their social and gendered recruitment and by a differentiated degree of institutionalization. While some coaches and judges attempt to emancipate from these spaces' aesthetic and gender norms, they never succeed in overturning the established heterosexual gender order. In this way, our work brings to light "the new clothes of male domination" (De Singly, 1993) in spaces historically apprehended as paths to empowerment for women
Seigneur, Viviane. "La sécurité en haute montagne : penser la sécurité, jugement de fait, jugement de valeur...et autres jugements : approche anthropologique et sociologique." Rouen, 2003. http://www.theses.fr/2003ROUEL448.
Full textThe subject of this thesis is security in high mountain. This work reveals how the security initiatives are built and what the regulation mechanics are. With this aim in view, the research focus on the knowledge which influences on this mechanisms. This knowledge is studied from three points of view. The first one is about the daily life, the second one is about the institutional world and the last one is about the general relationships with risk. Moreover, this research studies the weight of the "non rationals logics" as opposed to "interests logics" (more or less economics) which influence the collective organisation of security. The high mountain is a good illustration with its little economic stakes, a limited scientific knowledge and a very strong mythical potential. The socio-anthropological approach is particularly interesting to identify this different "non rational" dynamisms

Full textOur study is based on the analysis of professorial judgement in PE from school marks and school report comments. According to sociology of curriculum (Forquin, 1989), the theories of reproduction (Bourdieu & Passeron, 1970) and a constructivist view of sex (Constantinople, 1973/1986 ; Beni, 1978/1986), we try to reveal mechanisms of professorial judgement production in physical education. We specially investigate effects of sex, gender, social origins, by analysing an elite high-school. Our results show significant effects on school marks and school report comments. Those bias seem to exist in PE and in every disciplines. We think there is a masculine hidden curriculum, which favour some high schooler in the studied institution

Full textWomen's artistic gymnastics' judges are pushed under high stressful conditions that come from this activity's nature, as his lack of recognition and the interpersonal conflicts it implicates .Thus, judges have to manage their emotions while appraising the most correctly as far as they can the exercises presented thanks to strategies called « coping ».Several goals make this thesis. The first one is to identify sources of stress of gymnastics judgement during an event, and if they are different contingent on judge's experience and expertise. The following goal is to draw a psychological description of judges, and to identify differences function of expertise and experience. To determine if some situational and dispositional variables affect the use of coping strategies is one of our other goals. The last one is to study relations between these coping strategies and the emergence of the bias of expectations of within team-order.253 judges participated in this study, and results showed an expertise and experience's effect on the sources of stress' identification. Nevertheless, uneven bars are the most stressful apparatus for all of them.Psychological description is not different contingent of these two variables.Dispositional variables don't affect coping strategies, on the contrary of some situational variables.Lastly, a link between coping strategies and bias of expectations of within-team order may exist

Full textThis doctoral thesis studies within the joint action theory in didactics the evolution of a teacher’s practical epistemology that has no expertise in dance. The analysis is in relation with teacher continuing professional learning sessions he followed during three years. A longitudinal six years analysis was conducted using a multi-dimensional approach of observational data lessons. At a first step the didactical system of professional learning sessions was studied. The second step concerns the observation of teacher’s practice in a middle school during physical education classes (students: 11 to 12 years). Two scales were used: the first macro-didactic scale describes the practices and the knowledge enacted by the teacher all over the years and contributes to define “learning games” which are in relation with choreographic artworks. The second micro-didactic scale examines in details the teacher’s relationships to choreographic artworks during four learning games. The findings show that the knowledge to be taught and learned as proposed during the professional learning sessions is remodeled and mobilized in singular ways during the joint action with students. All of this contributing to teacher’s practical epistemology moves
