Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
Le 25 janvier 1884, le Daily Starde Montréal écrivait: « After all, no very great statesmanship is wanted in Québec, only a little business ability, some honesty and a great deal of independence of character.»

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
The study contributes to language teacher education research by emphasizing an English as a second language (ESL) teacher’s learning through critical activity, which includes my attempts to change my pedagogical practices to provide more equitable educational opportunities for ESL students in the mainstream contentclassroom. Framed by Engeström’s (2001) Cultural Historical Activity Theory (CHAT), the study’s purpose was to examine my own professional self-development as an ESL teacher in learning how to initiate and sustain collaboration with a seventh-grade social studies teacher at a suburban middle school in the southeastern United States. Data collection included self-study methods, specifically interviews, collaborative planning sessions, reflective journals, field notes, and e-mail exchanges with a critical friend. The findings showed how I learned to navigate the misuse of planning time and the misrepresentation of collaborative teaching notions as the two major contradictions in collaboration to plan for and teach ESL students. By resolving the contradictions, I negotiated a division of labour and enacted my agency to assume the position of a content social studies teacher, which ultimately sustained the collaborative activity. These findings attend to thecomplex factors that influence an ESL teacher’s professional self-development and agency in collaboration with a social studies teacher.

Abstract:
Taking into account the structural features, peculiarities of the journal context and methods of its integration, the article demonstrates a typological model of the “author’s” literary journal considered as one of the typological models of a large-volume journal (literary, universal, common journal type). The article reveals typological versions of the “author’s” journals of Russian press in the 18-19th centuries. The authors established that the general typological model united the “author’s” journals with similar typological features. The owner, the publisher and the editor acted on his/her own, as well as he/she was the only or the main author of journal texts of different genres. Besides, he/she had an opportunity to create all journal discourses directly: artistic, publicistic, literary review which lead to the extreme consolidation of the journal context on the semantic (problem and thematic), formal (compositional and stylistic), worldview levels. The article proves that in the course of evolution, differentiation of the “the author’s journal» model with the formation of its typological features has taken place. Russian journalism included the author’s journal novel, the author’s literary and artistic journal, the author’s encyclopaedic journal, the author’s monographic journal. The authors of the article demonstrate that typological versions of the author’s journal are distinguished by degree of the publisher’s and editor’s involvement into the journal management process, their structure, ratio of the main journal discourses, volume and genres of the texts published, as well as methods of journal context consolidation.

Abstract:
SummaryBackground: Biomedical Informatics (BMI) is a broad discipline, having evolved from both Medical Informatics (MI) and Bioinformatics (BI). An analysis of publications in the field-should provide an indication about the geographic distribution of BMI research contributions and possible lessons for the future, both for research and professional practice. Objectives: In part I of our analysis of biomedical informatics publications we presented results from BMI conferences. In this second part, we analyse BMI journals, which provide a broader perspective and comparison between data from conferences and journals that ought to confirm or suggest alternatives to the original distributional findings from the conferences. Methods: We manually collected data about authors and their geographical origin from various MI journals: the International Journal of Medical Informatics (IJMI), the Journal of Biomedical Informatics (JBI), Methods of In-formation in Medicine (MIM) and The Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA). Focusing on first authors, we also compared these findings with data from the journal Bioinformatics. Results: Our results confirm those obtained in our analysis of BMI conferences – that local and regional authors favor their corresponding MI journals just as they do their conferences. Consideration of other factors, such as the increasingly open source nature of data and software tools, is consistent with these findingsConclusions: Our analysis suggests various indicators that could lead to further, deeper analyses, and could provide additional insights for future BMI research and professional activities.

Abstract:
The present essay offers a discussion of the problems connected with establishing a journal devoted to the history of Russian philosophy and culture. In this article, we reveal the prerequisites that were needed for the creation, goals and objectives of the journals “Solovyov Studies” and “Russian Philosophy”. The role of scientific centers – the Ivanovo Interregional Scientific and Educational Center for the Investigation of V.S. Solovyov’s Legacy (Solovyov Seminar) and the St. Petersburg seminar “Russian Thought” - in the formation of journals is emphasized. We show the importance of source studies and publications as the most important condition and prerequisite for a reliable reconstruction of the history of Russian philosophy. We also consider the various forms of scientific and educational activities of journals and the problems associated with the training of research personnel who are capable and ready to work with archival documents. Finally, we characterize the thematic diversity of the content of the first two issues of the journal “Russian Philosophy”.

Abstract:
Researchers believe that most cases of cleft lip and cleft palate are caused by genetic and environmental factors. Nevertheless, the exact cause was not found. Nevertheless there are allegations that the condition of the cleft lip and palate has something to do with osteogenesis imperfecta with the heterozygous mutation COL1A2 and the formation of triple helix DNA accompanied by Tetralogy of Fallot in children with a maternal history of catatonic schizophrenia followed by the use of valproic acid and type II diabetes mellitus. Then, it is also found in babies with cleft lip and sky conditions usually accompanied by other congenital anomaly, but not always. This then further gives rise to speculation that there are links between the above variables and the cleft lip and palate. Therefore. Knowing the Relationship Between Cleft Lip and Palate Events with osteogenesis imperfecta with heterozygous mutation COL1A2 and triple helix DNA formation accompanied by Tetralogy of Fallot in children with a maternal history of catatonic schizophrenia followed by the use of valproic acid and type II diabetes mellitus. This research is a Systematic Review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses method or commonly called PRISMA, this method is carried out systematically by following the correct research stages or protocols. The source was taken from the Google Scholar site with journals published in 2017-2023 and then screened the results of 1,870 journals. Journal clustering was carried out and the number of Q1 indexed journals was obtained in 4 journals, Q3 in 1 journal, and Q4 in 1 journal so that there were 6 journals extracted. The entire journal does not directly discuss the relationship between the research variables, but only provides an overview of the increased risk of celestial cleft conditions in babies if the expectant mother has type 2 diabetes mellitus conditions, osteogenesis imperfect, and the relationship of the two health conditions to the possibility of birth of the baby with the Tetralogy of Fallot condition, as well as the relationship of the baby to the condition of the cleft lip and palate and tetralogy of fallot

Abstract:
In the 1950s and 1960s the increased specialization of science led to the formation of discipline-based scientific societies. Some of these, among them the Astronomical Society of Australia, began their own refereed journals. The Publications of the Astronomical Society of Australia, which has now been continuously published by the Society for over 50 years, has undergone many changes in that time in response to the changes in the publication landscape. The method of production has advanced from manual to computer typesetting and from printed volumes to purely electronic publishing. The content of the journal has changed from short conference papers to formal research papers that now, under the impact of citation indices, face strict refereeing and are mixed with major invited review papers. Dedicated editors have maintained the journal despite a preference from many members to publish in better known overseas journals as well as strong opposition from within the society to the costs involved in maintaining a research journal.

Abstract:
The new training context in higher education is moving toward a new model of massive, open and free education through a methodology based on video simulation and students’ collaborative work. Using a descriptive methodology, we analyze the formats and Web content presentation of 72 journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports® (2013) in the field of communication, and their presence in the development of massive open online courses (MOOCs) at the leading global platform, «Coursera». The findings show that the vast majority of scientific journals in the field of communication offer few disclosure formats and are difficult to embed in new massive, ubiquitous and collaborative movements which use the selfcreated «audiovisual pill». Therefore, the integration of articles of international scientific journals in MOOCs is almost nonexistent. Journals are not taking advantage of the great potential of these courses for scientific divulgation, probably because its unique disclosure format is written text. Thus, we propose a new model for scientific publication which shares writing text format with the video article, social media outreach and new formats supported by mobile digital devices to foster greater international visibility of scientific development and social progress in an everyday, more interconnected and visual society.

Abstract:
The rise of disciplines is connected with the formation of groups or networks of specialists. It is connected with the emergence of “scientific communities,” theorized about since Thomas Kuhn and Robert Merton. But how is such a community of specialists brought together; how are common orientations among members of a scientific community upheld? In this article it is argued that scholarly journals play a key role in the modern scientific disciplines. Journals both secure the shared values of a scientific community and endorse what that community takes to be certified knowledge. Publications in scholarly journals have become the basic units of scientific communication in a discipline. Against this theoretical background, I analyze in this article the evolution of the leading scholarly journal in the field of education in the Dutch-language community,Paedagogische Studiën (Studies in Education). The analyses illuminate a number of historical evolutions in this journal in the period 1920–75: the increase in coauthorship and the concomitant standardization of publication formats; the changing role of the editorial board, especially in its function of gatekeeper of scientific communication; and the increase and the shifting “global” nature of cited work in the journal. Because of the close relationship between journal and discipline, this analysis highlights basic characteristics of the patterns of communication and the constitution of disciplinary identity in Dutch-language educational science.

Abstract:
The article deals with topical issues of organizing the process of interaction between editors (publishers) of scientific journals and authors of manuscripts in the process of their evaluation, preparation for publication and publication itself. By the method of semi-formalized interviews of representatives of scientific journals, the main problems of communication relations in the "author-journal" system were identified. The need for the formation of appropriate competencies for authors from among researchers and teaching staff to include and participate in the process of publishing the results of research work in scientific and peer-reviewed publications is problematized.

Abstract:
This study aims to examine misogynic interpretation issues in journals published in 2010-2019. Based on the assumption of journal stagnation in Indonesia on women studies, this study examined 32 journals published that year. Through an epithemological study, using literature review research methods and a philosophical approach, this study tries to examine bibliographically the articles that discuss the interpretation of misogyny verses. This study was conducted to analyze the tendency of writing on misogyny issues in journals. With Ignaz Goldziher's theory of the history of ideas, studies have succeeded in revealing that articles in journals tend to be based on interpretations of the formative era with quasi-critical reasoning dominated by modern feminist ideas from both the theme and methodological aspects. The implication of this study is the formation of a typology of misogynistic studies in journals, which can be used as a reference for the development of further studies, especially the development of the epistemology of al-Qur'an studies

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore current practices of collaboration between English as a second language (ESL) and elementary classroom teachers and provide evidence-based recommendations on how to enhance collaborative professional relationships that support the instruction of English Language Learners (ELLs). A qualitative research methodology was employed to explore current practices as well as educational resources used by four ESL teachers as they worked to foster collaborative relationships with classroom teachers. Data collection methods included (a) interviews with ESL teachers reflecting on their beliefs and practices, (b) structured observations of ESL and elementary teachers in classrooms, and (c) analysis of professional planning artifacts (e.g., daybook plans, lesson plans, professional readings, and instructional resources) to document participants’ practices in ESL education. Findings revealed that ESL teachers negotiated collaboration based on a desire to work together and a belief that a cohesive educator team is important in ESL education, however, these ESL teachers encountered barriers such as a lack of training, technology, and tools to facilitate collaboration and limited time to do so. This resulted in limited and informal, surface-level collaboration. Implications of the findings relating to best collaborative practices are discussed.

Abstract:
Approaches to the formation of a system of priority of scientific journals in the processes of certification of scientific personnel in Russia are considered. The features of a number of proposed lists of scientific journals are considered: the List of the Higher Attestation Commission, the White List, RSCI Journals, etc. and regulation of their use in the preparation of candidate and doctoral scientific papers. Attention is drawn to the division of journals in the HAC List into categories, while the K3 category is not counted when evaluating publications in the process of defending works, which creates difficulties when working with the proposed form of the of the HAC List. The target function of the White List in the volume of more than 30 thousand journal titles has not been determined. It is noted that monographs are not counted as scientific works in the defense processes, which negatively affects communication processes and the preservation of knowledge. It is noted that the proposed approaches need to be improved.

Abstract:
The article reflects the main results of comparative bibliometric analysis of the scientific-practical Russian Journal of Library Science “Bibliotekovedenie” and foreign journals in the library sphere. The purpose of the study is to determine the growth points and development directions of the Russian Journal of Library Science for the formation of international scientific communication practices and professional discourse. The object of the research was metadata array of fourteen foreign English-language library journals included in the international scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, and the journal “Bibliotekovedenie” for 2015—2019. The authors used content analysis method, the method of comparison and correlation, as well as criterion method based on determination of relevant indicators and development of criteria for evaluating journals to identify parameters of similarity and difference, followed by the use of method of data interpretation based on modern cultural-philosophical and cultural-theoretical principles and concepts. As a result, the study identified the typical topics for the most frequently cited articles in the foreign journals. The authors show that the journal “Bibliotekovedenie” publishes the articles that can be attributed to most of the presented topics. However, most often they are characterized by another emphasis, presentation style and structure of the text, as well as approaches to conducting research. Trends in the citation of articles in Russian publications indicate the difference in a set of priority topics. The authors conclude that these differences depend not only and not so much on the “collision” of traditional and modern vision of the situation from the point of view of scientific research, but rather on deeper reasons based on cultural differences. These reasons are driven by the postmodern increase of the impact of culture on the development of science, reflecting these differences in the languages of cultures and in the translations, as well as by other, sometimes opposite, trends in the development of socio-cultural situation in different countries, related to the understanding of place and role of libraries, books and information in modern society.Based on the obtained results, there was adjusted the development plan of scientific-practical journal “Bibliotekovedenie”, as well as its name in English, starting 2019 (no. 6) — Russian Journal of Library Science.

Abstract:
The use of mobile learning in education has increased. In order to understand how to use mobile learning, it is necessary to have a common overview of the research carried out. This systematic review has determined the trend (especially tolerance) of using smartphone apps to learn characters through comprehensive analysis and comprehensive research since 2012. The method used is the random journal Scopus search engine to identify publications related to character learning. The study also uses a data visualization software called VoS Viewer to analyze the results of the underlying network relationships and information. The production trend of character formation. The results showed that only a small portion of personality formation research uses smartphone apps for research. Journal professionals publish less research than interdisciplinary scientific and technical journals. Between scholars and character education researchers to study more closely how their research helps to understand character education issues. As the use of mobile learning continues to grow, more research on the use of mobile technology in all fields and levels of character education will help educators improve their skills in using the technology.

Abstract:
AbstractAstrobiology's goal of promoting interdisciplinary research is an attempt to reverse a trend that began two centuries ago with the formation of the first specialized scientific disciplines. We have examined this era of discipline formation in order to make a comparison with the situation today in astrobiology. Will astrobiology remain interdisciplinary or is it becoming yet another specialty? As a case study, we have investigated effects on the scientific literature when a specialized community is formed by analyzing the citations within papers published during 1802–1856 in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society (Phil. Trans.), the most important ‘generalist’ journal of its day, and Transactions of the Geological Society of London (Trans. Geol. Soc.), the first important disciplinary journal in the sciences. We find that these two journals rarely cited each other, and papers published in Trans. Geol. Soc. cited fewer interdisciplinary sources than did geology papers in Phil. Trans. After geology had become established as a successful specialized discipline, geologists returned to publishing papers in Phil. Trans., but they wrote in the new, highly specialized style developed in Trans. Geol. Soc. They had succeeded in not only creating a new scientific discipline, but also a new way of doing science with its own modes of research and communication.A similar citation analysis was applied to papers published over the period 2001–2008 in the contemporary journals Astrobiology and the International Journal of Astrobiology to test the hypothesis that astrobiologists are in the early stages of creating their own specialized community. Although still too early to reliably detect any but the largest trends, there is no evidence yet that astrobiologists are drifting into their own isolated discipline. Instead, to date they appear to remain interdisciplinary.

Abstract:
Researchers rely on a system of scientometric ratings when they assess the development of a scientific journal. This approach does not allow us to understand the reasons for the results achieved and the specifics of the business model of the publication. The paper describes the study of scientific journals through a prism of the ecosystem approach. The hypothesis is tested that a highly rated scientific journal, its authors and readers together represent a closed ecosystem with specific properties. The research methodology is based on the author’s toolkit which consists on the calculation of ecosystem closeness indicators: the share of affiliated authors, their correlation with the average influence of a paper, diversity and fluidity. The authors suggest that low rates of variability and diversity indicate a closed type of journal ecosystem. Generalization and interpretation of empirical results was carried out by the method of cluster analysis. The information base is a panel metadata of 20 scientific Russian journals for 2013–2020, which have the maximum Science Index ratings on economic and management fields. Also, the authors analyzed the data on the number and level of concentration publications by the editorial board members and staff of the holding institution, as well as the intensity of publications of individual authors. There have been identified four clusters of studied journals being as a base of the empirical verification. The first and third clusters are characterized by the highest rate of closeness. The lowest level of variability in the sample has been recorded for the third cluster. The journals of the second and fourth clusters have a conditionally closed ecosystem and have been characterized by a top-rated of variability. They are characterized by a low share of publications by affiliated authors. However, it was revealed that there had been a group of authors who had a significant impact on the journal’s ecosystem development. The study results can be of value for the strategies formation of scientific journals development.

Abstract:
The perineal injury during delivery can increase the risk of infection in postpartummothers. This paper reviews the effectiveness of green betel leaf (Piper betle Linn) onperineal wound healing. It was a literature review study. The first literature review stagewas to determine the problem using PICO questions. Then, search and collectdata/literature with the following steps: write keywords in the journal database andchoose articles according to the specified criteria. The databases were Google Scholar,Science Direct, and Technology Index (SINTA), and PMC. The population was nationaljournals examing the effectiveness of betel leaf on perineal wound healing. In addition, inclusion criteria were national journals researching the effectiveness of betel leaf onperineal wound healing and published from 2015 to 2020. Meanwhile, the exclusioncriteria were journals with no full text. The journal searching was carried out from 1 to20 August 2020. Data analysis used the following methods: critical appraisal, skimming, scanning, separating irrelevant articles from relevant articles, reading relevant articles, and making notes or summaries. Then we arranged publications in the table andanalyzed them. There were seven relevant journals from Google Scholar. The findingsshowed that betel leaf was effective for perineal wound healing. The betel leaf containsan antiseptic five times stronger than ordinary phenol. It also contains saponins thattrigger collagen formation for wound healing. Future researchers should examine thedegree of the perineal wound and explain the processing of betel leaf in detail.

Abstract:
Abstract. This paper begins the analysis of complex multi-actor, multi-round decision-making processes in Canadian public policy formation. After setting out the notion of a decision-making style and its constitutive elements, the paper identifies research into complex multi-actor, multi-round decisions as a serious lacuna in the literature on public policy decision-making, despite the fact that this type of decision-making is very common in public policy-making circumstances. The paper advances research in this area through the analysis of several hypotheses raised in recent European studies concerning the conditions under which such processes are likely to successfully conclude in a decision, rather than an impasse. These hypotheses are tested against evidence taken from five cases of multi-round decision-making in Canada over the period 1995–2005: amendments to the Indian Act, the creation of Species-at-risk legislation, alterations to the Bank Act, the extension of Privacy legislation to the private sector and efforts to develop a Free Trade of the Americas Agreement (FTAA). Data on actor interactions in these five areas gleaned from on-line newspaper and media index services reveals that Canadian results do not match those arrived at in European studies, showing both different patterns of government and non-governmental activity and less volatility in actor behaviour as rounds evolve over time.Résumé.

Abstract:
B. Sadovskoy led an active literary activity in the first half of the twentieth century. In 1904 the editor of “Vesy” V. Bryusov invited the young writer to collaborate in the journal. B. Sadovskoy proved to be a talented literary critic and poet. Nevertheless, his reviews and notes were considered as pretentious and sharp in expressions that led to the condemnation and alienation of many contemporaries in relation to the writer. A few years later B. Sadovskoy became a member of “Zolotoe Runo”. Editorial policy of this journal from the first issue became the subject of controversy in literary circles, especially from the Symbolists who published their works on the pages of “Vesy”. The journals “Vesy” and “Zolotoe Runo” played a considerable role in B. Sadovskoy’ formation as a writer, poet and literary critic.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Junks and journals are valuable writings; in this case they are used in evaluation and in formation of the Turkish literature. In earlier junk and journal studies, a serious work of literature has been formed and a lot of materials, especially biographies and poems of poets have been collected. Even though the fact that a significant number of studies have been done, these studies are insufficient, considering the large number of manuscripts waiting to be brought out. Together with the digital archives of libraries and the manuscript collections of individuals, the junks and journals found in research are written sources that contribute to the traditions of minstrel literature and classical poetry. An Alevi-Bektashi journal of poetry, which was discovered by us in the Islim village of Yıldızeli district of Sivas, is one of them. The review study carried out in 2017, Veli Şahin, who is the village’s Alevi leadership and a poet, provided a magazine containing poems belonging to Alevi-Bektashi poets and contributed to the literature. In the poetry journal named Veli Şahin Journal, there are 150 poems belonging to 37 poets that are representing the tradition of Abdal Musa, Vīrānī, Nesīmī, Shāh Khaṭāʾī, Yemīnī and Kul Himmet. Information about Veli Şahin, who is not a poet in literature, and one of his poems are given as an example. The poems in the journal were evaluated in terms of form and content by respecting its original order, and in appendix “the index of pseudonym lines”, poetry samples and visuals from the journal were given. This index of pseudonym lines includes similar texts of poems in the journal from previous dīvān, junk, magazine and anthology studies that were tried to be determined. Several data were presented for “similar text” studies that could be done in the future. In this study, the aim is to contribute new evaluations made in this sense through searching Veli Şahin’s Journal about its form and content features belonging to the Alevi-Bektashi tradition and to the similar texts of poems.

Abstract:
In the scientific world there are hundreds of professional and multidisciplinary journals and collections of scientific works. The peer-reviewed journal is aimed to a greater extent at highlighting the empirical research of scientists and practitioners dealing with the problems of phraseology. The formation of phraseological units is closely related to the history, culture, mentality, and psychology of a certain people. Confirmation of this thesis can be found in numerous domestic (V. Havrys, M. Hamzyuk, L. Kovbasyuk, O. Prorochenko, G. Prykhodko, etc.) and foreign (D. Brückner, M. Hulavska-Havkovska, B. Lazer, H. Liebsch, H.-G. Lüger & H. Bergerová, etc.) linguists.

Abstract:
This review focuses on the history of the electronic scientific and educational journal “ISTORIYA”, stages of its formation and the factors influencing its development. The emergence of online journals, distinguished by the dynamic nature of filling the editorial portfolio providing a much higher level of scientific communication compared to traditional print publications, was a reflection of the rapid introduction of Internet technologies into the daily practice of the humanities. This led to a search for informational and technological solutions that would automate the ways of communicating and processing scientific periodicals against the background of the growth of publication activity and the widespread use of scientometrics. One of such solutions was the creation of publishing platforms, a striking representative of which was JES (Journal of Education and Science) developed in Russia in 2013, which subsequently provided automation of the editorial-publishing cycle for a number of socio-humanitarian journals. The Journal “ISTORIYA”, which at the time served as a guide to technological solutions that took into account the most current trends in the development of forms of scholarly communication, was a flagship publication of the platform. Due to this advantage? the Journal “ISTORIYA”, created by the efforts of the State Academic University for the Humanities and the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has managed not only to take its rightful place among the leading scientific periodicals in a relatively short period of time, but also to acquire a reputation as a media of the highest quality, becoming a “business card” of successful integration of science, education and modern information technology.

Abstract:
An article in a scientific journal is the key element of modern scholarly communication system, in which scientific journals act as conductors of national science and researchers to the international level. Integration of Russian scientific journals into the global knowledge system and improving their competitiveness are necessary conditions for improving the competitiveness of Russian science itself.Today, we see a low quality of Russian scientific periodicals with an excessive number of journals. The highly competitive environment and the total use of bibliometric approaches in the research and assessment of science born unfair race for indicators, developing imitation science. The study aims to analyze, determine and propose solutions of topical issues of Russian scientific journals. The article is a case study of the oldest monthly scientific and production journal “Occupational Safety in Industry”. The transformation of the work of the editorial board is considered within the 2016–2019 period. We analyze the history of formation, development and the common problems of restructuring the activities of the editorial boards that have occurred in recent years. It is shown that the formalization of scientometric indicators and their impact on funding cause a sharp increase in the number of authors with multiple affiliations. In general, the use of bibliometrics in Russia has generated a number of systemic risks that threaten the development of national science. The study formulates the tasks and nearest prospects for the development of scientific journals as the basis for a changing scholarly communication system. It is necessary to develop the qualitative scientometrics with new scientometric indices and qualitative author-evaluating indicators (with more precise scientometrics, new tools will appear, including those for identifying dishonest scientists). To improve the evaluation system of Russian scientific journals, we propose: improving the generally accepted scientometric methods taking into account Russian specifics and introducing a system for assessing and monitoring the quality of Russian scientific journals, combining the use of bibliometric information and independent expert evaluation. The creation of high-quality scientometrics is possible with the use of artificial intelligence systems. The proposed steps will build a self-regulatory ecosystem on the Russian space of scholarly communication with well-functioning high-quality expertise, which will determine the future of scientific journals.

Abstract:
The hanging wall to the Flin Flon, Callinan, and Triple 7 volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits of the Flin Flon district is composed of the Hidden and Louis formations. The contact between these formations is marked by mafic tuff that represents a hiatus in effusive volcanism. The formations form a composite volcanic edifice that was erupted and grew within a large, volcanic–tectonic subsidence structure (hosting the deposits) that developed within a rifted-arc environment. The formations are evidence of resurgent effusive volcanism and subsidence following a hiatus in volcanism marked by ore formation since they consist of dominantly basaltic flows, sills, and volcaniclastic rocks with subordinate basaltic andesite and rhyodacitic flows and volcaniclastic rocks. The Hidden formation is interpreted to represent a small shield volcano and the Louis formation a separate shield volcano that developed on its flank. Both the Hidden and Louis volcanic edifices were constructed by continuous, low-volume eruptions of pillow lava. A gradual change from a dominantly extensional environment during the formation of the footwall Flin Flon formation to a progressively more dominant convergent environment during the emplacement of the hanging wall suggests that the Hidden and Louis formations are unlikely to host significant volcanogenic massive sulphide-type mineralization. However, synvolcanic structures in the formations define structural corridors that project downwards into the footwall where they encompass massive sulphide mineralization, indicating their control on ore formation, longevity, and reactivation as magma and fluid pathways during the growth of the Hidden and Louis volcanoes.
