Abstract:
Submarine pipeline is an important part of deep-sea and ultra-deep-sea oil and gas development. In the cold forming process of longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipe, the JCO manufacturing process is one of the key forming technologies for manufacturing submarine pipeline. The main problem encountered by submarine pipelines in offshore oil and gas transportation is insufficient pipeline collapse pressure, which leads to pipeline collapse and shortens the service life of the pipeline. Therefore, the analysis of the JCO manufacturing process is of great significance to improve the collapse resistance of pipelines. In this paper, the development and research status of the JCOE/JCOC manufacturing process are reviewed. The stress, contact, and deformation of the plate are symmetrical in the JCOE/JCOC manufacturing process. The effects of expanding and compression on pipe collapse performance in the JCO manufacturing process are summarized. The asymmetric factors can reduce the collapse performance of the pipeline. Compared with expanding, compression can effectively reduce the ovality of pipe and strengthen the compression performance of pipe, to improve the collapse performance of pipe; finally, the JCOE/JCOC manufacturing process and collapse resistance of submarine pipeline is summarized and prospected.

Abstract:
BRCA genetic testing is available for UK Jewish individuals but the provision of information online for BRCA is unknown. We aimed to evaluate online provision of BRCA information by UK organisations (UKO), UK Jewish community organisations (JCO), and genetic testing providers (GTP). Google searches for organisations offering BRCA information were performed using relevant sets of keywords. The first 100 website links were categorised into UKOs/JCOs/GTPs; additional JCOs were supplemented through community experts. Websites were reviewed using customised questionnaires for BRCA information. Information provision was assessed for five domains: accessibility, scope, depth, accuracy, and quality. These domains were combined to provide a composite score (maximum score = 5). Results were screened (n = 6856) and 45 UKOs, 16 JCOs, and 18 GTPs provided BRCA information. Accessibility was high (84%,66/79). Scope was lacking with 35% (28/79) addressing >50% items. Most (82%, 65/79) described BRCA-associated cancers: breast and/or ovarian cancer was mentioned by 78%(62/79), but only 34% (27/79) mentioned ≥1 pancreatic, prostate, melanoma. Few websites provided carrier frequencies in the general (24%,19/79) and Jewish populations (20%,16/79). Only 15% (12/79) had quality information with some/minimal shortcomings. Overall information provision was low-to-moderate: median scores UKO = 2.1 (IQR = 1), JCO = 1.6 (IQR = 0.9), and GTP = 2.3 (IQR = 1) (maximum-score = 5). There is a scarcity of high-quality BRCA information online. These findings have implications for UK Jewish BRCA programmes and those considering BRCA testing.

Abstract:
Program behavior that relies on contextual information, such as physical location or network accessibility, is common in today's applications, yet its representation is not sufficiently supported by programming languages. With context-oriented programming (COP), such context-dependent behavioral variations can be explicitly modularized and dynamically activated. In general, COP could be used to manage any context-specific behavior. However, its contemporary realizations limit the control of dynamic adaptation. This, in turn, limits the interaction of COP's adaptation mechanisms with widely used architectures, such as event-based, mobile, and distributed programming. The JCop programming language extends Java with language constructs for context-oriented programming and additionally provides a domain-specific aspect language for declarative control over runtime adaptations. As a result, these redesigned implementations are more concise and better modularized than their counterparts using plain COP. JCop's main features have been described in our previous publications. However, a complete language specification has not been presented so far. This report presents the entire JCop language including the syntax and semantics of its new language constructs.

Abstract:
AbstractHaematologic toxicity is the most common adverse event after CAR-T cell therapy, with a cumulative 1-year incidence of 58% (CTCAE grade ≥ 3) in the real-world setting (Wudhikarn et al., Blood Advances 2020). It is characterized by a biphasic temporal course and is often prolonged (Fried et al., Bone Marrow Transplant 2019, Rejeski et al., Blood et al. 2021a, b, Fig. 29.1). In a report of Axi-Cel-treated patients, only 30% demonstrated a neutrophil count >1 × 109/L and 50% showed a platelet count >50 × 109/L at 30 days following CAR-T cell treatment (Jain et al., Blood Advances 2020). In a long-term follow-up study of patients with ongoing CR and an absence of MDS, 16% of patients experienced prolonged significant cytopenias that lasted up to 22 months after CAR-T cell treatment (Cordeiro et al., Biol Blood Marrow Transplant 2020). These findings highlight that cytopenia can present long after lymphodepletion and the resolution of acute CRS. Risk factors include severe CRS/ICANS, cytopenia prior to initiation of lymphodepleting chemotherapy, and prior allogeneic stem cell transplantation (Jain et al., Blood Advances 2020, Fried et al., BMT, 2019). Importantly, cytopenia predisposes patients to severe infectious complications, which are the most frequent cause of non-relapse mortality (Nastoupil et al., JCO 2020).

Abstract:
When in-service inspection of a nuclear plant component reveals the presence of cracking, an engineering evaluation (typically called a justification for continued operation, or JCO) is required to demonstrate the structural suitability for continued operation. A key element in such a flaw evaluation is the projected crack growth over the period when the cracked component will be reinspected. The crack growth is expected to be a combination of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and corrosion fatigue. The ASME Section XI Code is in the process of developing a full range of SCC and corrosion fatigue crack growth rate relationships (CGRs) for stainless steel and Ni-Cr-Fe materials. The objective of this paper is to summarize several available SCC and fatigue crack growth rate relationships for these materials exposed to boiling water reactor (BWR) water environments. For completeness, low alloy steel SCC and corrosion fatigue CGRs in BWR water environment are also briefly reviewed. Two example evaluations are provided that used some of these CGRs in developing the JCOs for BWR components. A detailed comparison of these CGRs along with a review of the underlying data will be part of a future effort undertaken by the ASME Section XI Task Group.

Abstract:
Metallurgically bonded CLAD pipes consist of a thick carbon steel bulk and a thin layer of a corrosive resistant alloy (CRA). In order to perform a girth weld of such pipes, the clad layers of both parts must geometrically fit to each other. Thus, the field weldability of CLAD pipes are to a large extent determined by dimensional tolerances of pipe ends, which have to be smaller than CRA thickness, typically 3mm. To ensure such tight tolerances, EBK has developed and installed a new calibration machine called Impander and corresponding cold sizing technology, in which the pipes are compressed (impanded) from outside. Thus, the traditional JCO manufacturing process is supplemented by a Compression step, which leads to the abbreviation JCOC. In contrast to an expander, the Impader tools operate from the pipe outside and produce tight dimensional tolerances without contacting the sensitive CRA layer. Controlled adjustment and final inspection of pipe dimensions demand an accurate measurement of pipe shape. For this, a laser tracker which allows precise measurements of complete pipe circumference with an accuracy of 0.1 mm both from inside and outside was installed and a corresponding evaluation software was developed. The paper gives a comparison of different pipe production technologies pointing out the advantages of the JCOC process using the Impander for manufacturing of CLAD pipes. An analysis of the influence of dimensional tolerances on edge misalignment of two pipe ends during girth welding is given. The precise laser measurements allow to mark exactly the largest and smallest diameter on pipe ends, that helps to reduce time for pipe adjustment during field welding. In addition, using numerical and experimental investigations, the pipe impansion was shown to significantly reduce residual stresses in the pipe. Thus, when cutting the pipe, a change of pipe shape due to springback effect is considerably reduced. Additionally, the compressive strengthening in hoop direction due to cold work by impansion in combination with a low ovality along the whole pipe length considerably increases the external collapse pressure, which makes the pipes particularly suitable for deep water applications. So far, this has been experimentally proven with a full-scale-collapse-test on a conventional pipe, but is suggested to be applicable for the CLAD pipes too.

Abstract:
Large-diameter thick-walled steel pipes during their installation in deep-water are subjected to external pressure, which may trigger structural instability due to excessive pipe ovalization with catastrophic effects. The resistance of offshore pipes against this instability mode strongly depends on imperfections and residual stresses introduced by the line pipe manufacturing process. In the present paper, the JCO pipe manufacturing process, a commonly adopted process for producing large-diameter pipes of significant thickness, is examined. The study examines the effect of JCO line pipe manufacturing process on the structural response and resistance of offshore pipes during the installation process using nonlinear finite element simulation tools. At first, the cold bending induced by the JCO process is simulated rigorously, and subsequently, the application of external pressure is modeled until structural instability is detected. For the simulation of the JCO manufacturing process and the structured response of the pipe a two dimensional generalized plane strain model is used. Furthermore, a numerical analysis is also conducted on the effects of line pipe expansion on the structural capacity of the JCO pipe.

Abstract:
There are three main methods and process for forming pipes from plates “Roll Bending”, “JCOE” and “UOE”. In all of the above mentioned ways part of the pipe will remain flat, and can not achieve the desired curvature of the pipe. These areas are generally at the two longitudinal edges of the open seam pipes. For obviation of these flat areas at the longitudinal edges of the pipe, the pre forming machines for “JCOE” and “UOE” processes, and the post bending machine for “the Roll Bending” process are used. In the post bending machine the final shape of the pipes is determined based on the rate of the machine hoist pressure and the spaces between the rolling dies. These parameters can have various effects on the mechanical properties of the final welded pipes. In the research that has been conducted at SAFA Rolling & Pipe Mill Company, the amount of hoist pressure and the final shape of the open seam pipes in the post bending machine, and their influences on the mechanical properties of the welded pipes, have been investigated herein.

Abstract:
Current manufacturing technology for large diameter pipe, such as the UOE process, is known to result in pipe with reduced collapse pressure compared to a seamless one of the same steel grade and D/t. It has recently been demonstrated [1,2] that such deficient performance can be alleviated by finishing longitudinally welded pipe by compression. A newly developed cold sizing press, called Impander®, is used to produce pipe with reduced ovality, reduced residual stresses and increased compressive yield strength. The combination of these factors can lead to a significant increase in the collapse pressure of the pipe. The paper will review experimental and analytical results that demonstrate the improved collapse pressure of pipes manufactured by it. This improved performance was confirmed in a full-scale collapse experiment on a pipe finished by impansion of 1.1%. The test showed perfect agreement with the modelling. The collapse pressure was 37% higher than current design codes allow. Additional work has been performed aimed at evaluating the effect of low temperature heat treatment on the collapse pressure. A full-scale collapse test on impanded and heat-treated pipe has shown that a significant additional enhancement in collapse pressure results from the heat treatment. The paper will discuss the thermomechanical causes of these enhancements of the collapse pressure.
