Abstract:
Filing a leave of absence is typical for any employee. Employees may be required to submit applications which must be fully accomplished before approval. The aim of this project is like a document tracking system for leave applications through a web application. A responsive web application for leave management system where the applicant will know the status of his/her request. The administration will then be notified if there are requests submitted to them. What makes this project efficient is the incorporation of the service worker, a cutting-edge technology, in web development. A service worker is a type of web worker. It is essentially a JavaScript file that runs separately from the main browser thread, intercepting network requests, caching or retrieving resources from the cache, and delivering push messages. [1] Since service workers run separately from the main thread, workers are independent of the application they are associated with. Some parts of the project are usable offline using the HTTP request. Since leave applications may have image attachments, this system will make it possible to submit images by chunks. Chunking of images is important because there are instances where uploading may fail due to large files or slow internet connection. The use of web service workers provides the accessibility of the application even offline. While chunking of images makes it possible to submit images even on slow connectivity. The implementation of online leave management is geared toward making leave applications simple and convenient and is readily accessible for both the management and the employee.

Abstract:
The information technology such as web-based systems has been widely implemented in Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) to improve the management and effectiveness. However, the web-based systems still discover the problem when those are applied to the SMIs that located in the rural areas which generally have low network quality. The problem can also occur due to various conditions such as unstable electricity or during a disaster. Based on the problem, the web-based systems should meet the reliability standards so it can continue to be work in every condition. This study proposes a reliable offline web system of React JavaScript with the service worker concept as an effort to overcome the problem. The results not only can improve the performance of web-based systems in various conditions but also encourage other SMIs to use the web-based system for their industrial process.

Abstract:
У статті описано PWA, як перспективний напрямок об'єднання веб та мобільних технологій. Описано генезис прогресивних веб-додатків від поняття до структури розробки. Підкреслено, що PWA це технологія веб-розробки, яка візуально та функціонально трансформує сайт на додаток для різних пристроїв, яка дозволяє істотно полегшити розробку у сфері веб-додатків, програмісти / розробники не масово переходять на використання цієї технології у своїх проектах. Окреслено чотири основні групи технологій PWA, які поділяються на статичні, клієнтські, групу фреймворку та Service-Worker. У свою чергу наголошено, що Service-Worker це код JavaScript, який запускається браузером у фоновому режимі цей код не залежить від веб-сторінки, яка дає доступ до функцій, для яких не потрібна веб-сторінка або взаємодія з користувачем. Графічно представлено архітектуру PWA з встановленням всіх компонентів та зв’язків між ними. Розкрито переваги та недоліки PWA. До головних переваг віднесено: властивості нативної програми, кросплатформеність, кешування у браузері, автономність, робота за протоколом HTTPS, відокремленість від серверної частини. Недоліки сформовано у вигляді наступних позицій: низький рівень доступу до функцій, низька якість роботи офлайн, низький зв’язок з операційними системами. Відокремлено два напрямки розробки інформаційного забезпечення: нативні додатки та адаптивні веб-сайти. Сформовано поняття кожного напрямку, так адаптивні веб-сайти вписуються у екран будь-якого розміру будь-то планшет чи мобільний телефон, а нативні програми створені для певного пристрою та можуть бути запущені за допомогою піктограм на головному екрані пристрою, зазвичай вони завантажуються з магазину програм та встановлюються на пристрій. Підкреслено, що різниця між PWA та нативними програмами полягає в тому, що нативні програми залежать від платформи, тобто їх можна запускати лише в тій операційній системі, для якої вони були розроблені. Наголошено, що основна відмінність між технологією веб-розробки, яка візуально та функціонально трансформує сайт на додаток для різних пристроїв і адаптивними веб-сайтами полягає у функціональності, у той час, як в інтерфейсі користувача особливої різниці немає.

Virtual Assistants (VA) are a new groundbreaking tool for screening cognitive impairment by healthcare professionals. By providing the volume of data needed in healthcare guidance, better treatment monitoring and optimization of costs are expected. One of the first steps in the development of these items is the experience of the healthcare professionals in their use. The general goal of the current project, WAY2AGE, is to examine healthcare professionals’ experience in using an Azure voice-bot for screening cognitive impairment. In this way, back-end services, such as the ChatBot, Speech Service and databases, are provided by the cloud platform Azure (Paas) for a pilot study. Most of the underlying scripts are implemented in Python, Net, JavaScript and open software. A sample of 30 healthcare workers volunteered to participate by answering a list of question in a survey set-up, following the example provided in the previous literature. Based on the current results, WAY2AGE was evaluated very positively in several categories. The main challenge of WAY2AGE is the articulation problems of some older people, which can lead to errors in the transcription of audio to text that will be addressed in the second phase. Following an analysis of the perception of a group of thirty health professionals on its usability, potential limitations and opportunities for future research are discussed.

With a chatbot, it can help business people handle thousands of chats from customers who want to ask about sales products. Chatbots can also save on operational costs and provide 24/7 active service. Indirectly this can provide customer connection to the store. Therefore, this study will discuss the Application of the Auto Reply Chatbot on Telegram to the Development of a Shoe Sales Business Using Artificial Intelligence Markup Language. This system involves a shoe sales information system website as a medium to provide services to customers related to sales information. And a chatbot that implements an AIML (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language) system as a virtual assistant that connects customers and information from the database. Where this chatbot will respond to conversations submitted by customers, besides that it can also retrieve data in the form of information in sales data. The system which is designed using the Javascript, PHP, Python, PDO, and MySQL programming languages as the database.System testing will show that the sales information system website is functioning properly in managing (Create, Read, Update, Delete) customer data, stock of goods, goods sold and other data, while the Chatbot test shows that the program can respond via the Telegram application, starting from messages asking for stock, item prices or requesting information from the database.

Posyandu, which stands for Integrated Health Family Planning Service Post, is a basic health activity organized for people who are assisted by health workers, one of which is the Posyandu Teratai Putih Bahalayung Village. There are several obstacles in this manual system, including Posyandu cadres who often experience difficulties in the data search process, this is because these cadres may not remember the location of the data being searched for or do not understand the data written by other cadres. The system development method used is the Waterfall methodology, from the requirements analysis stage to system testing. For system requirements analysis, the data taken is posyandu data from 2019. For the system design stage, using ERD and DFD, namely Context Diagram and DFD Level 1. For the implementation stage of the system using the Codeigniter framework, programming languages ??PHP, HTML, and Javascript, and the MySQL query language. And the last stage for testing the system uses the Black Box Testing technique.

Information technology development today resulted in the growing number of internet users. Easy access of the internet makes it as a media presentation of data to both individuals and institutions. It is similar with Computer System major that has taken advantage of the Internet to provide a variety of information to both academic and community service in the field of information technology. But it is still using manual method to organize and inventory data associated with the On-Job Training (KP) and Final Project (TA) in a site. One way to ease the data organization is to design an information system that can record and organize all the data held by the Computer System. Design and Implementation phase begins with system requirement analysis. Its objection is to get a proper system specification. In design phase, Data Flow Diagram is used to represent data in a logic way. The result from design phase then implements with PHP programming language, associated with Database Management System MySQL, and Javascript to generate a dynamic web-based information system. The previous research “Perancangan Sistem Informasi Seminar dan Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro Undip” was to organize database final project consist of schedule, seminar schedule, and test schedule. It used Unified Modeling Language (UML) consist of use case and activity diagram. The users of this information system were two, that were called admin and student. The result from information testing showed that all features like organizing students data, organizing teacher data, printing KP and TA data, uploading KP and TA data, alerting KP and TA coordinator about the schedule of the students worked well. The current research use Entity Relationship Diagram model system. This information system has five users, that are admin, student, teacher, KP coordinator, and TA coordinator.

Web Push Notification application can display website-based notifications even if you don't open the web browser directly or in a minimized condition. Web Push Notification is a notification mechanism using Javascript in a web browser. This feature is available in the HTML5 Push API by using a Push Service or Messaging server that sends notifications to subscribed web browsers without opening the website so that it can broadcast and the HTML5 Notification API does not require a Push Service or Messaging server but must open a website, but not supported all web browsers so that this paper discusses Push Notification Web Implementation in archive management information systems using PushJS, the development method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP). Notification technology that is suitable for web-based archive management information systems namely HTML5 Notification API because it will not send the same notification to all users. But there is no process behind the scenes so that it will not be run automatically, the problem is overcome by using AJAX by retrieving JSON and then running repeatedly on the web browser and minimizing clashes between web push notification scripts on multi tab windows or web browser windows resolved using localStorage from the HTML5 WebStorage API. The test results show that the application of Web Push Notification technology in the Archive Management Information System can help users manage many archives and use AJAX influences the speed of web access.</em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the development of digital economy and information networks on the basis of advances in information and telecommunication technologies, affecting the qualitative and structural changes in all sectors of social production, in particular in the EU labor market. This leads to the transformation of production systems, management and state regulation in most EU countries. Having recovered from World War II, humanity has launched a new economic model called "smart production and consumption". It is shown that the economy of the XXI century, acquiring more and more signs of digitalization, is significantly transformed into a global digital economy. The development of ICTs reflects notable changes in the organization of the production process and labor activities, as new technologies stop performing certain types of labor activities. At the same time, they create a demand for people with new professional and qualification characteristics and contribute to the emergence of new jobs, thus creating new opportunities and requirements that a modern automated worker should meet. The fact that new opportunities for Ukrainian IT specialists have appeared on the EU labor market deserves special attention, the number of which has increased significantly due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. IT has become an integral part of modern life. Thus, at the beginning of 2022 there were 90 thousand IT specialists (programmers) working in Ukraine. However, it is worth noting that Ukraine is currently experiencing a very difficult military situation, which reflects an accelerated outflow of population to other regions of Ukraine and EU countries. About 3.5 million Ukrainians have moved to the European Union. Among the "forced migrants" there is a certain share of people with skills in the IT industry. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of IT skills, which are the main driving force behind the digitalization of the EU labor market. In particular, these qualities include the ability to work with foreigners, to attract investment, to work with computer technology and use technology in various cases, and to learn quickly and know foreign languages. This makes IT specialists very demanding. On the EU labor market, professions such as IT recruiter, project manager, PR manager, product manager and system analyst are most attractive to men, while HR manager, SEO-marketer, copywriter and WEB-analyst are more popular among women. Methodology. The methodology of expert assessment of the level of digitalization in the EU labor market is determined by an integral indicator, namely the index of digitalization of the labor market. This index measures the share of employment in services, the share of employment in knowledge-intensive services, the level of access to ICTs, the level of use of ICTs, the level of adoption of new organizational models of work based on ICTs, the share of exports of information and communication services, and the share of exports of digital services. This methodology allows to rank the countries of the European Union on the degree of digitalization of the labor market and prove the ability of states to provide employment growth through the spread of digital technology and the development of a digital global space. Results. It has been argued that humans today are hostage to resource collapse. In this case there is a dilemma: either to move along the current path, or technologically to become part of nature, that is, to live at the expense of fundamentally new inexhaustible resources and technologies created by wildlife, but using the most modern technology. This means the convergence of science and technology, consisting of similarities in the device and function of relatively distant groups, namely the convergence in the evolution of such technologies as N-nano, B-bio, I-Information, C-cognitive, the so-called NBIC-technologies. It has been established that today's programmers come in different ranks: junior, middle, and senior, and are proficient in major programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, and PHP. With these qualities, programmers can work in a variety of industries because they are highly adaptable to change and have patience, because technology is constantly changing. Therefore, undoubtedly, such employees in the field of digital technology are very desirable for employers. Practical implications. As an effective practical method of analyzing the digitalization of the EU labor market the system approach and the development of IT-technologies are proposed. They cover the whole complex of scientific and technical problems, which, for all their specificity and diversity, are similar in their understanding and consideration of the objects and systems they study. That is, sets of interrelated elements that act as a whole. The index of digitalization of the labor market is one of these elements. It is used to assess the large share of IT services in various areas of the EU labor market. Value/originality. The article discusses the current directions of IT influence on the digitalization of the EU labor market. It shows how exactly IT contributes to the implementation of automated labor at the current stage of development of the digital economy in the EU. The number of people engaged in technical and technological labor in the digital space is relatively increasing, which forms the digital employment market. The digitalization of the labor market is automated through information systems and the spread of information technology. It requires a new type of thinking from the modern worker, formed on the basis of general education and special knowledge and skills in the use of innovative information technologies.

Abstract Complex biomedical data generated during clinical, omics and mechanism-based experiments have increasingly been exploited through cloud- and visualization-based data mining techniques. However, the scientific community still lacks an easy-to-use web service for the comprehensive visualization of biomedical data, particularly high-quality and publication-ready graphics that allow easy scaling and updatability according to user demands. Therefore, we propose a community-driven modern web service, Hiplot (https://hiplot.org), with concise and top-quality data visualization applications for the life sciences and biomedical fields. This web service permits users to conveniently and interactively complete a few specialized visualization tasks that previously could only be conducted by senior bioinformatics or biostatistics researchers. It covers most of the daily demands of biomedical researchers with its equipped 240+ biomedical data visualization functions, involving basic statistics, multi-omics, regression, clustering, dimensional reduction, meta-analysis, survival analysis, risk modelling, etc. Moreover, to improve the efficiency in use and development of plugins, we introduced some core advantages on the client-/server-side of the website, such as spreadsheet-based data importing, cross-platform command-line controller (Hctl), multi-user plumber workers, JavaScript Object Notation-based plugin system, easy data/parameters, results and errors reproduction and real-time updates mode. Meanwhile, using demo/real data sets and benchmark tests, we explored statistical parameters, cancer genomic landscapes, disease risk factors and the performance of website based on selected native plugins. The statistics of visits and user numbers could further reflect the potential impact of this web service on relevant fields. Thus, researchers devoted to life and data sciences would benefit from this emerging and free web service.

Мета роботи: реалізувати веб-додаток, використовуючи сучасні можливості для нативного відображення додатка на мобільних пристроях. Методи дослідження: аналіз та узагальнення. За допомогою покращеної технології для створення прогресивних веб додатків, було знижено період розробки, підвищено якість та продуктивність програмного продукту. Таку технологію можна впровадити у будь-який проект з розробки веб додатку. Вона забезпечить швидке завантаження в незалежності від стану та якості мережі, офлайн використання за відсутності зв’язку або некоректною роботою сервера та гарантує появу свіжого контенту. Використовуючи готові фреймворки, можна скоротити час та ресурси на розробку PWA, а саме вони представляють собою сучасний підхід до мобільності сайту. The aim of study is to implement the web application, using the modern capabilities to natively display the application on mobile devices. The methods of research are analysis and generalization. Improved technology for creating advanced web applications has reduced the development time, increased quality and performance of the software. Such technology can be implemented in any web application development project. It will provide fast downloads, regardless of network status and quality, offline use in the absence of communication or improper server operation, and guarantees the appearance of fresh content. By using frameworks, you can reduce the time and resources available to develop PWAs, which is a modern approach to site mobility. Therefore, if a business can get new sales or other types of profits due to the fact that the application is always at the user's fingertips, then you definitely need to try to apply this technology.

Abstract:
The geospatial Web portal is the gateway to combining news, information, data, and applications from the geosciences community. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Software as a Service, Rich Internet Application, and other emerging Web standards and technologies have revolutionized the implementation of Web portals. The GeoBrain project is developing a comprehensive Web service-oriented geospatial portal, the GeoBrain Online Analysis System (GeOnAS). This data-rich and service-centric geospatial portal provides easy, fast, and federated Web access to geospatial data, information, and services compliant with Open Geospatial Consortium standards from multiple sources. It offers standards-based geospatial data discovery, retrieval, visualization and analysis to facilitate geosciences research and education around the world, and to help decision-makers and analysts work more efficiently and effectively within an SOA runtime environment. Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax) also brings more responsive, interactive, and dynamic features to this Web portal and creates a better Web experience to its end users in the confines of a modern browser.

Abstract:
Service-learning is a form of experiential learning that integrates curriculum objectives to address needs in the community. It also provides students with an opportunity to apply geospatial technology concepts in a real-world setting. This paper describes a service-learning project requiring students to create an interactive Google Map depicting historic buildings and artwork for the City of Wayne, Nebraska. Students create maps by using handheld GPS receivers and editing HTML and JavaScript. The objectives of this project align with several building blocks and critical work functions in the Geospatial Technology Competency Model (GTCM). This model, developed in 2010 by the U.S. Department of Labor, attempts to identify the knowledge and abilities needed in the geospatial industry workforce. In addition the methods, assessment, and challenges for developing and executing this project are described.

Pseudonymization plays a vital role in medical research. In Germany, the Technologie- und Methodenplattform für die vernetzte medizinische Forschung e.V. (TMF) has developed guidelines on how to create pseudonyms and how to handle personally identifiable information (PII) during this process. An open-source implementation of a pseudonymization service following these guidelines and therefore recommended by the TMF is the so-called “Mainzelliste”. This web application supports a REST-API for (de-) pseudonymization. For security reasons, a complex session and tokening mechanism for each (de-) pseudonymization is required and a careful interaction between front- and backend to ensure a correct handling of PII. The objective of this work is the development of a library to simplify the integration and usage of the Mainzelliste’s API in a TMF conform way. The frontend library uses JavaScript while the backend component is based on Java with an optional Spring Boot extension. The library is available under MIT open-source license from https://github.com/DanielPreciado-Marquez/MainzelHandler.

Abstract:
Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, college tours are no longer available, so many students have lost the opportunity to see their dream school’s campus. To solve this problem, we developed a product called “Virtourgo,” a university virtual tour website that uses Google Street View images gathered from a web scraper allowing students to see what college campuses are like even when tours are unavailable during the pandemic. The project consists of 3/4 parts: the web scraper script, the GitHub server, the Google Domains DNS Server, and the HTML files. Some challenges we met include scraping repeated pictures and letting the HTML dropdown menu jump to the correct location. We solved these by implementing Python and Javascript functions that specifically target such challenges. Finally, after experimenting with all the functions of the web scraper and website, we confirmed that it works as expected and can scrape and deliver tours of any university campus or public buildings we want.

Abstract:
The Signal Physics Representation in Uncertain and Complex Environments (SPRUCE) work unit, part of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Army Terrestrial-Environmental Modeling and Intelligence System (ARTEMIS) work package, focused on the creation of a suite of three-dimensional (3D) signal and sensor performance modeling capabilities that realistically capture propagation physics in urban, mountainous, forested, and other complex terrain environments. This report describes many of the developed technical capabilities. Particular highlights are (1) creation of a Java environmental data abstraction layer for 3D representation of the atmosphere and inhomogeneous terrain that ingests data from many common weather forecast models and terrain data formats, (2) extensions to the Environmental Awareness for Sensor and Emitter Employment (EASEE) software to enable 3D signal propagation modeling, (3) modeling of transmitter and receiver directivity functions in 3D including rotations of the transmitter and receiver platforms, (4) an Extensible Markup Language/JavaScript Object Notation (XML/JSON) interface to facilitate deployment of web services, (5) signal feature definitions and other support for infrasound modeling and for radio-frequency (RF) modeling in the very high frequency (VHF), ultra-high frequency (UHF), and super-high frequency (SHF) frequency ranges, and (6) probabilistic calculations for line-of-sight in complex terrain and vegetation.
