Abstract:
Keberagaman karya tafsir tidak akan pernah lepas dari metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan sang mufasir. Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan, menjadikan masing-masing karya penafsiran maupun terjemahan memiliki ciri khas. Salah satunya adalah Alquran berwajah puisi karya H. B. Jassin yang merupakan literatur terjemahan karya umat Muslim Indonesia yang terbit pada tahun 1977. Terjemahan Alquranpuitis yang dikarang oleh H.B. Jassin ini menuai berbagai kontroversi. Sebagian pembaca menilai bahwa terjemaha AlquranH.B. Jassin lebih tepat dari pada terjemah yang disusun oleh Kemenag, adapun sebagian lainnya menilai bahwa Jassin tidak sepantasnya menerjemahkan Alqurandengan melangkahi terjemahan AlquranKemenag, yang dinilai sebagai standar terjemahan di Indonesia, sebab dari sisi intelektual H.B. Jassin tidak memiliki perangkat-perangkat keilmuan yang memadai untuk menerjemahkan Alquran. Tulisan ini akan mencoba mendiskusikan lebih dalam mengenai polemik-polemik yang terjadi seputar terbitnya karya “AlquranKarim Bacaan Mulia” karangan H. B. Jassin.

Abstract:
Artikel ini membincang dua proyek sastrawan kenamaan Indonesia, H.B. Jassin, seputar Al-Qur’an. Karir besar Jassin dalam sastra mengantarkannya kepada ranah al-Qur’an, dengan karya terjemahan berjudul Al-Qur’anul Karim Bacaan Mulia dan penulisan mushaf berwajah puisi. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis, artikel ini berakhir pada kesimpulan bahwa kedua karya H.B Jassin merupakan resepsi estetisnya terhadap Al-Qur’an. Berkaitan dengan epistemologi, kedua bentuk resepsi ini merupakan hasil dari pengetahuan intuitif Jassin yang ia asah dalam waktu yang panjang.

Abstract:
Artikel ini mencoba menganalisis kritik Oemar Bakry atas terjemahan H.B. Jassin. Ada dua poin mengapa ia penting didiskusikan: upaya Bakry untuk melobi Kementerian Agama terkait terjemahan Jassin dan posisinya yang berhasil memicu polemik tidak sederhana di antara banyak pemikir Indonesia sepanjang 1978-1982. Pertama, sesuai dengan surat Bakry yang ia kirim kepada Kementerian Agama dan diletakkan di bagian paling awal bukunya, Polemik H. Oemar Bakry dengan H.B. Jassin. Di situ orang bisa mengamati bagaimana Bakry berharap pada Menteri Agama untuk melarang beredarnya terjemahan Jassin lantaran telah menodai Al-Qur'an itu sendiri. Kedua, tampak dalam respons yang muncul dari Kementerian Kesehatan dan beberapa pemikir, seperti Quraish Shihab, Mustofa Bisri, dan sebagainya yang juga ikut intens berkomentar. Artikel tergugah untuk mengulik apa maksud utama Bakry serta bagaimana kritiknya bisa sampai memicu perdebatan. Walhasil, artikel berargumen bahwa yang terjadi antara keduanya melibatkan semacam kesalingan untuk sama-sama memanfaatkan momentum demi kepentingan tertentu.

Abstract:
Literature is believed to have a special appeal for the majority of people from all nations, including Arabs and Indonesians. The Al-Qur'an, which uses noble literature, was translated using literary language by H.B Jassin. His thoughts attract the attention of writers because they transmit literature to literature. This study aims to describe the verses of An-Naba from 1-7 in the perspective of the translation of the Noble Readings by H.B. Jassin. This study uses a descriptive analysis method without using statistical figures, the source of the research data is from Tafsir Noble Readings and Surah An-Naba. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Personality of H.B. Jassin who became his motivation to write the translation; 2) Ijmali and Tahlili methods are used to analyze and collect data; and 3) The language style of this Noble Reading translation is in the form of poetry, different from the translation of the Ministry of Religion. This translation of the Noble Readings does not change the meaning, meaning and content of the Qur'an at all, it's just that the difference is in the language style and sentence structure used by H.B. Jassin. H.B.'s goal Jassin wrote his translation solely to make the verses of the Qur'an very beautiful.

Abstract:
This study aims to reveal and to describe the condition of Indonesian literary criticismin a century of H.B. Jassin (1917-2017). The research problem is how the condition of Indonesian literary criticism in a century of H.B. Jassin? The method used is the historical and descriptive method. The research proves that the condition of Indonesian literary criticism in a century of H.B. Jassin progressing quite encouraging on four genres of literary criticism, namely: (1)general literary criticism or practical literary criticism developed in printed media and electronic, (2) history of academic literary that thrives in academic research focusing on philology, (3) literature appreciation and interpretation that developes in the academic and scientific journal of literature, and (4) literary theory that developes in academic world as a basic reference for writing literature scientific papers. From these results it can be concluded that the condition of Indonesian literary criticism in a century of H.B. Jassin has never been stagnant or vacuum.

SURAT-SURAT (tepatnya kartu pos) Chairil Anwar kepada Jassin adalah obrolan antarteman. Ia bicara pada orang-seorang. Chairil sadar benar bahwa dia sedang bicara dengan seorang yang mungkin paling memahami dia di antara teman-temannya yang lain kala itu. Atau paling tidak teman yang paling bisa dan mau mendengarkan keluh-kesahnya. Tapi kenapa kartu pos, layanan pos tanpa amplop dan itu artinya sifat tertutup-personalnya menjadi hilang? Mungkin karena sensor, dengan amplop tertutup pun akan tetap dibuka juga sebelum sampai ke penerima. Masa-masa itu adalah tahun di mana penguasa Jepang mengendalikan segalanya. Mungkin juga karena Chairil merasa tak apa juga apabila orang lain selain Jassin tahu apa pesan yang ingin ia sampaikan. Memang isi kartu pos Chairil kepada Jassin adalah pikiran-pikirannya, kegelisahan-kegelisahannya sebagai penulis, tak ada urusan pribadi.

Abstract:
This study aims to describe the discourse on the controversial translation of the Koran Bacaan Mulia by H.B Jassin. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative method with analysis using content analysis. The results of this study that the translation of the Koran H.B. Jassin is unique because it displays the aesthetics of the Qur'an which is manifested in the form of a poetic translation. This work caused a stir in the country and invited the controversy of Muslims in Indonesia. Various accusations and criticisms were directed at H.B Jassin who was considered incompatible in the field of the Qur'an because he did not master Arabic and other sciences that supported the process of translating the Qur'an. The debate about whether the Qur'an tends to be poetic or prose, long before H.B Jassin's work related to the poetry of the Qur'an appeared. The majority of scholars are of the opinion that the Qur'an without being poetic already contains elements of very great poetry. Regarding the rhyme contained in the Qur'an, not only Muslim scholars have studied it. The orientalists also discussed it, such as Richard Bell, who argued that there are hidden rhymes. Differences in understanding the verses in the Koran itself have sometimes led to pros and cons, plus there have been translations in poetic form whose content sometimes does not match the original text. Apart from that, the translation of the Qur'an H.B Jassin; The Noble Readings of the Qur'an should be appreciated because it has colored the treasures of Islamic scholarship in Indonesia as well as a form of creativity in receptive to the Qur'an.

Hal menarik yang perlu digarisbawahi adalah Alquranul Karim Bacaan Mulia (AKBM) memiliki dua sisi. Satu sisi sebagai terjemahan Alquran dan di sisi lain sebagai puitisasi Alquran. Beberapa tulisan telah mendiskusikan AKBM dengan hanya menggunakan teori penerjamahan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan tulisan ini adalah ingin menganalisa bagaimana resepsi estetika HB Jassin terhadap ayat-ayat metafora dengan pendekatan lain yaitu kritik sastra. Dengan menggunakan teori kritik sastra dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertama, HB Jassin memberikan makna yang lebih dalam dan indah dari terjemahan ayat-ayat metafora melalui jalan puitis. Kedua, untuk mempelajari dan meneliti AKBM tidak cukup hanya dengan menggunakan teori penerjemahan semata tetapi juga teori sastra. Kata Kunci: AKBM, Ayat Metafora, Kritik Sastra

Abstract:
Lors de l'etude botanique de quatre especes de jasmins (jasminum officinale, jasminum azoricum, jasminum grandiflorum et jasminum sambac), l'observation micrographique de poudres de feuilles montre la presence de poils tecteurs et secreteurs. Les caracteristiques des poils tecteurs peuvent constituer un critere de distinction entre les 4 especes. De plus, l'examen microscopique de prelevements de petales a permis d'observer des gouttelettes refringentes supposees contenir des huiles essentielles. L'analyse cg et cg/sm de la concrete de fleurs du jasmin des acores (j. Azoricum) a permis l'identification d'une quarantaine de composes. Deux alcools terpeniques sont particulierement abondants: le farnesol et le geranyllinalol. La composition qualitative de la concrete de j. Azoricum est differente de celles de j. Grandiflorum et j. Sambac d'une part, et de l'huile essentielle de ses propres feuilles d'autre part. L'evolution de la qualite de la concrete est etudiee lors de l'epanouissement de la fleur et durant toute la vie de la fleur. Une autre partie de ce travail est consacree a l'obtention de plants de jasmins resistants a une maladie des racines, le pourridie, provoquee par un champignon (rosellinia necatrix). Ce champignon produit une toxine, la cytochalasine e. Apres la mise au point du dosage par h. P. L. C. De la cytochalasine dans des extraits de mycelium, plusieurs modes de culture sont testes en vue de la recuperation d'extraits fongiques toxiques necessaires a la selection de cals resistants. Parallelement, la regeneration de plants de jasminum officinale et jasminum azoricum a partir de cals est recherchee par organogenese et embryogenese somatique. Les potentialites embryogenes des cals sont mises en evidence par une etude cytologique

Abstract:
The aim of the study was to explore the impact of furniture and spatial settings on teachers and students. Drawing on a case study action research approach involving surveys, two primary schools (Frangipani and Jasmine Primary School) within the Sydney Catholic Schools were involved as case study sites. This report provides a summary of the findings of the impact of furniture and spatial settings on teacher efficacy, teacher mind frames, student learning and student engagement as well as perceptions of students on the furniture and spatial settings. In summary, teachers’ perceptions of their mind frames, student learning and engagement increased after the introduction of furniture in the prototype learning environment. For one teacher, the perception of their efficacy did not improve after the implementation of the prototype space and furniture. In terms of students’ perceptions of the furniture, a large proportion of students agreed that they enjoyed learning and are more motivated to learn because of the new furniture. At Jasmine Primary School, a fifth of students felt that they were not motivated to learn because of the new furniture. Further in-depth study is required to find out the underlying reasons for this. Key themes that emerged from the qualitative data on the furniture and spatial settings focus on characteristics of furniture that afforded comfort, improved concentration and auditory qualities, supported collaboration, and capacity for choice. These are important considerations to drive decisions in school designs and furniture purchases. The importance of good furniture in a learning space cannot be underestimated. New learning environments and furniture demand and create new possibilities for teacher practices and student learning. The findings of the study, whilst limited in its scale, provides three crucial considerations relating to the importance of prototyping, professional learning and longitudinal data. These carry ramifications for wider understanding and future research. Future inquiry in these three key areas can provide the much-needed evidence to support schools’ transition into new learning environments.
