Al-Farabi is one of the Islamic philosophers who also focuses on the study of happiness. Although he is not the first scholar to talk about happiness, his thoughts have contributed to the study of Islamic thought. So that the authors are interested in studying al-Farabi's concept of happiness and analyzing the concept in order to answer the problems of modern humans, especially on the topic of finding happiness. To achieve this goal, the author uses library research by collecting primary sources such as books and scientific journals. Then, describe and analyze the data to find a correlation between al-Farabi's concept of happiness and the problems of mankind today. Thus, the author can provide input on how to take steps so that someone reaches happiness. According to al-Farabi happiness is a good that needs to be achieved. Every happiness is good, and every that is good must be happy. God himself created humans to be happy, so happiness needs to be made a life of goals. Al-Farabi explained that happiness can be achieved when the soul can be implemented optimally.

Abstract:
In modern science, research aimed at studying the functioning of the human brain under the influence of various factors of the social and natural environment, including religious practices, both personal and social, is relevant. The purpose of the research is to consider the current state of neurotheology as a new field of knowledge and to analyze the possibilities of its interaction with already existing social and humanitarian disciplines; review, analytical and critical publications of Russian and foreign scientists are used as material for the study. Attention is drawn to the philosophical and methodological problems that neurotheology needs to be resolved in order to determine its place in the modern cognitive space as its organic component. First of all, according to the authors of the article, representatives of this science need to enrich the formed empirical basis with theoretical generalizations, for which it is necessary to implement the principle of interdisciplinarity declared by them and involve specialists from various fields of humanities in the common work. In the hypotheses put forward by neurotheologists, the question of the ontological existence of objects of religious experience is recognized as epistemologically insoluble, however, when constructing a philosophical and worldview concept, it is impossible to limit oneself to such statements; It is noted that the idea developed in neurotheology about the genetic translation of the qualities of the “brain/consciousness” in the process of “cognitive evolution” of mankind returns us to the social deterministic and mechanistic views overcome by modern science. The hope is expressed that neurotheology, having overcome the emerging philosophical and methodological difficulties, will play an important role in the development of Russian science.

Abstract:
The article highlights and analyzes the most serious threats and problems affecting the food security of modern society; carried out their classification according to the main features. It is determined that the right to meet the needs for food is an integral element of basic human rights: social, civil, economic, political, cultural. This right is realized on the basis of the state policy of food security, which is one of the main goals not only of the agrarian, but also of the country’s economic policy in general, which forms the direction of the state’s food system to an ideal state. Accordingly, food security is the ability of the state to guarantee its citizens, regardless of actual and potential threats, the satisfaction of food needs in volumes, quality and assortment that meet scientifically based standards and norms. It has been proven that the lack of equal access to land, water, natural resources, their irrational use, as well as limited economic opportunities due to political or armed conflicts undermine food sustainability at various levels. Formation of food security is a continuous process during which changing not only the mechanisms for implementing the national agrarian policy, but also development priorities.

Due to the dependence on petroleum to supply energy and chemical needs many countries have experienced problems because of declining reserves, increased demands, and political problems in oil exporting nations, which have also created problems for oil-importing countries. Demand on renewable resources to meets the needs for energy and carbon based chemicals in the wake of eventual depletion of fossil oil and natural gas reserves. Furfural, lignin, vanillin can be synthesized by extraction process from which vanillin and furfural are costlier products, which makes the process economically viable. Material balance was done to understand the material composition of wood. Comparison and costing of various process of are also evaluated which resulting into inexpensive than petroleum. A long-term solution would be to use renewable resources to produce many of the hydrocarbons. So, this work aims at finding feasible ways extracting the valuable chemicals such as furfural, lignin, vanillin, etc. from wood.

Abstract:
The metaphor of the ship of state has been a popular theme in literature from ancient times to the present day. This article aims to analyse the reasons for its popularity and the problems it presents to the audience. The first part presents the genesis of this metaphor and its interpretations, which constitute the basis for the considerations on politics, the role of citizens and leaders conducted in the following subsections. Based on the relations between the helmsman and sailors, the metaphor is a visual representation of the desired relations in the state. As has been shown, its primary and still current message is to draw attention to the fact that politics is the art of cooperation, requiring prudence and balance. Thus, it is not meant to encourage catastrophic visions regarding the fall of the state, but rather to encourage reflection on what steps to take in order to avoid extremes, and at the same time be able to respond to the needs of a changing world – how to educate sailors and navigators or what legal and systemic solutions provide so that the ship of state survives the storms.

Abstract:
In the conditions of growing digitalization of society, the issue of database protection is extremely urgent. Currently, Ukraine is at the stage of introducing European information protection standards, but the software component of its protection also needs further improvement. Information security threats are destruction, modification, blocking, unauthorized access, leakage, disclosure. In particular, cryptographic protection of databases allows preventing access to the information they con-tain by means of mathematical transformations. It is primarily about prevention of unauthorized modification and unauthorized disclosure of information.Cryptographic protection of databases can use encryption of data that is stored in a file (after encryption), as well as en-cryption of directories and files themselves. The approach to database protection should be comprehensive. Therefore, encryption cannot be used to solve access control problems. Encryption keys should be changed regularly as part of good security practices. The database should be unavailable during this time. A copy ofthe database must be stored offline at a remote location for some time. The administrator role can be split between two or more people so that each person does not have full access to the entire database, or the role can be limited to just administering the database without access to the information itself.Protecting the database is becoming an increasingly difficult task for an organization, because sensitive data is often the target of attackers. One of the mandatory requirements for database security is its cryptographic transformation, which is carried out both during the movement of information over networks and during storage in database systems. This can prevent attacks from both external and internal attackers. Although, database encryption cannot overcome all security threats, the application of a well-configured program that uses a reliable algorithm can significantly increase the integrity, confidentiality and availability of database information.Further improvement and development of the national system of cryptographic protection of databases will require a coordinated resolution of issues at the legislative (normative-legal), system-wide, procedural-functional, functional-technical, and software-technical levels.

Thesis, University of Westminster, 2009. https://westminsterresearch.westminster.ac.uk/item/909w6/the-pari-passu-principle-in-insolvency-law-an-analysis-of-the-judicial-construct-and-its-suitability-for-modern-needs.

Full text
Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is the pari passu rule in English law. That rule, commonly understood, provides for equal (or pro rata) treatment of creditors belonging to the same class. The rule has been developed through both legislative and judicial activities over a long passage of legal history. This thesis will analyse the construct given to this rule by both legislators and judges, particularly, with reference to the extent it has been adapted to meet the needs of modern insolvency law. Such a perspective is especially acute in the light of recent reforms to the position of unsecured creditors introduced by the Enterprise Act 2002. The effects of the current financial downturn have furthermore focused attention on insolvency law from the perspective of corporate rescue or the treatment of creditors, and the increasingly global nature of commerce has meant that different jurisdictions face similar challenges in the enforcement of their insolvency laws. This work engages in a doctrinal study which contrasts the conception of the pari passu rule which is widely known and applied (though subject to criticism) with the actual operation of the rule in a private law and public policy context. Accordingly, the development of the rule is traced from its origins to its present application. An effort is made to determine the extent to which the judicial model of pari passu is substantiated in practice and commercial realities. It is argued that this model can be distinguished from the manner in which the rule actually applies in the context of managing the relationship between unsecured creditors within their class, and in the promotion of wider social interests. Regard is made of developments in insolvency law which may have diminished the view of the rules of insolvency distribution as an indicator of the social values of a legal system. The manifestation of the rule in ‘international insolvencies’ is one such development. An examination of the advent of a more flexible approach to pari passu in international insolvencies would thus be necessary. It will be shown that a revised construct of pari passu which more strongly accords with modern imperatives is needed. This study centres primarily on United Kingdom insolvency law, and draws on the experience of other (mainly common law) jurisdictions to demonstrate important issues in the enforcement of the pari passu rule and provide comparisons, where appropriate.

Abstract:
The textbook examines the problems of social psychology at three relatively traditional psychological levels — personal, group and social (macropsychological). Personality-psychological features reflect the specifics of needs and motives, emotions and feelings, personal characteristics, psychological resources of a person that contribute to his interaction in the social environment and adaptation to it. The study of group psychological processes is associated with the analysis of various factors, which include, first of all, common collective meanings and social needs of certain groups. The macropsychological level involves consideration of the role played by psychological phenomena in the development of modern Russian society. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. It is addressed to students of higher educational institutions of both psychological profile and socio-humanitarian areas of training and specialties in general, teachers and graduate students of the departments of Psychology and Pedagogy, Sociology and Political Science, practical psychologists and anyone interested in social psychology

Abstract:
AbstractThe architecture of schools can no longer be as rigid as it has been in the past. It needs to be spatially open, stimulating and, through its physical qualities, able to react and adapt to those who live and work there to use it as an active educational tool. However, architecture by itself is not enough to define new spatial models for education or for our society and its ever more complex problems. Thus, a plurality of forms of disciplinary participation is necessary. Pedagogy, with its close relationship with architecture, and technology, with the innovations it brings to teaching methods, are also involved. The dynamism in communication processes and educational practices that arises from new technologies demands a review of how school environments are organized, along with flexible, multifunctional and adaptable solutions for them. The most interesting models are those in which the conventional classroom “breaks down” physically, in favor of open-space learning environments, and flexible spaces. Such layouts help promote skills acquisition, thanks to the synergy between the technological elements and the physical qualities of the spaces that make learning more engaging.

Abstract:
As early as the 1970s, some police agencies began to develop education and training initiatives as well as specialized response initiatives to assist police in responding to calls for service involving people with mental health problems. Various versions of Memphis's Crisis Intervention Team program as well as various co-response models have become increasingly common. However, the effectiveness of these often stand-alone programs remains unclear. What has become clear is that police agencies require a strategic approach to interactions between police and vulnerable populations including those with mental health problems. This chapter, which provides an overview of the evolution of these specialized police responses, proposes that there is a need for a more comprehensive third generation approach—a strategic approach—rather than solely a “program” approach. Identification is made of specific areas in which the unique skills of psychologists are important in furthering the success of the necessary strategic approach.

Abstract:
The chapter shows that solar battery and storage battery systems are capable of providing up to 70% of the needs of the population of a country located in the «southern» region of the world in electric energy. In conditions of strong sun and favorable wind rose, small-area solar panels and wind generators located in private homes are ways to solve global government tasks of saturating the country with energy. The monograph examines individual countries of Western Asia (Middle East) and the Arab Republic of Egypt. In some Asian states, within the framework of the «road maps», large-scale financing of programs is carried out, including on the terms of public-private partnership, aimed at the development of solar and wind energy. The Russian Federation undoubtedly has the necessary technological resources to help the countries of modern Asia in the development of solar and wind energy. The Russian Federation undoubtedly has the necessary technological resources to help the countries of modern Asia in the development of solar and wind energy. In the countries of modern Asia, the number of sunny days per year is many times higher than the climatic conditions of Europe. This circumstance creates favorable opportunities for the deployment of both small and global solar power plants, the installation of wind generators. The richest source of clean energy in the Arab world with its vast deserts is the sun.

Abstract:
Consideration of bioethics as a form of applied ethics is determined by the paradigm of the connection between traditional moral values and the practice of healing. This connection is revealed in the concept of “historical and logical models of biomedical ethics.” The article provides an analysis of the content of the main historical and logical forms of biomedical ethics: the “Hippocratic model”, the “Paracelsus-Voino Yasenetsky model”, the “deontological model” and “bioethics”. In ioethics, as a modern form of traditional professional medical ethics, various options for solving ethical problems of human life and death are discussed with the help of new biomedical technologies and the ideology of “human rights”. Considering bioethics not as applied ethics, but as a new interdisciplinary project, provides for the possibility of achieving the situational needs of various modern technologies outside the context of the history and logic of medical ethics. The article substantiates the connection between the separation of bioethics from moral traditions and the danger of losing individual and social trust in modern medical practice.

Radical changes are taking place in the modern world. Globalization caused by technological changes has become the main trend of world development. On the one hand, increased interdependence of countries and regions, and increasing the gap between rich and poor countries, aggravated the socio-economic, socio-political, ethno-cultural conflicts within countries. Therefore, maintaining international economic security requires new approaches and a new level of interstate interaction. The Russian Federation is in such a situation, which determines the need for research and implementation of a scientifically based security system.

Dalglish, Chris, and Sarah Tarlow, eds. Modern Scotland: Archaeology, the Modern past and the Modern present. Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, September 2012. http://dx.doi.org/10.9750/scarf.09.2012.163.

Full text
Abstract:
The main recommendations of the panel report can be summarised under five key headings:  HUMANITY The Panel recommends recognition that research in this field should be geared towards the development of critical understandings of self and society in the modern world. Archaeological research into the modern past should be ambitious in seeking to contribute to understanding of the major social, economic and environmental developments through which the modern world came into being. Modern-world archaeology can add significantly to knowledge of Scotland’s historical relationships with the rest of the British Isles, Europe and the wider world. Archaeology offers a new perspective on what it has meant to be a modern person and a member of modern society, inhabiting a modern world.  MATERIALITY The Panel recommends approaches to research which focus on the materiality of the recent past (i.e. the character of relationships between people and their material world). Archaeology’s contribution to understandings of the modern world lies in its ability to situate, humanise and contextualise broader historical developments. Archaeological research can provide new insights into the modern past by investigating historical trends not as abstract phenomena but as changes to real lives, affecting different localities in different ways. Archaeology can take a long-term perspective on major modern developments, researching their ‘prehistory’ (which often extends back into the Middle Ages) and their material legacy in the present. Archaeology can humanise and contextualise long-term processes and global connections by working outwards from individual life stories, developing biographies of individual artefacts and buildings and evidencing the reciprocity of people, things, places and landscapes. The modern person and modern social relationships were formed in and through material environments and, to understand modern humanity, it is crucial that we understand humanity’s material relationships in the modern world.  PERSPECTIVE The Panel recommends the development, realisation and promotion of work which takes a critical perspective on the present from a deeper understanding of the recent past. Research into the modern past provides a critical perspective on the present, uncovering the origins of our current ways of life and of relating to each other and to the world around us. It is important that this relevance is acknowledged, understood, developed and mobilised to connect past, present and future. The material approach of archaeology can enhance understanding, challenge assumptions and develop new and alternative histories. Modern Scotland: Archaeology, the Modern past and the Modern present vi Archaeology can evidence varied experience of social, environmental and economic change in the past. It can consider questions of local distinctiveness and global homogeneity in complex and nuanced ways. It can reveal the hidden histories of those whose ways of life diverged from the historical mainstream. Archaeology can challenge simplistic, essentialist understandings of the recent Scottish past, providing insights into the historical character and interaction of Scottish, British and other identities and ideologies.  COLLABORATION The Panel recommends the development of integrated and collaborative research practices. Perhaps above all other periods of the past, the modern past is a field of enquiry where there is great potential benefit in collaboration between different specialist sectors within archaeology, between different disciplines, between Scottish-based researchers and researchers elsewhere in the world and between professionals and the public. The Panel advocates the development of new ways of working involving integrated and collaborative investigation of the modern past. Extending beyond previous modes of inter-disciplinary practice, these new approaches should involve active engagement between different interests developing collaborative responses to common questions and problems.  REFLECTION The Panel recommends that a reflexive approach is taken to the archaeology of the modern past, requiring research into the nature of academic, professional and public engagements with the modern past and the development of new reflexive modes of practice. Archaeology investigates the past but it does so from its position in the present. Research should develop a greater understanding of modern-period archaeology as a scholarly pursuit and social practice in the present. Research should provide insights into the ways in which the modern past is presented and represented in particular contexts. Work is required to better evidence popular understandings of and engagements with the modern past and to understand the politics of the recent past, particularly its material aspect. Research should seek to advance knowledge and understanding of the moral and ethical viewpoints held by professionals and members of the public in relation to the archaeology of the recent past. There is a need to critically review public engagement practices in modern-world archaeology and develop new modes of public-professional collaboration and to generate practices through which archaeology can make positive interventions in the world. And there is a need to embed processes of ethical reflection and beneficial action into archaeological practice relating to the modern past.

Abstract:
The article substantiates the importance of training future teachers to use AR technologies in the educational process of preschool and primary education. Scientific sources on the problem of AR application in education are analyzed. Possibilities of using AR in work with preschoolers and junior schoolchildren are considered. Aspects of research of the problem of introduction of AR in education carried out by modern foreign and domestic scientists are defined, namely: use of AR-applications in education; introduction of 3D technologies, virtual and augmented reality in the educational process of preschool and primary school; 3D, virtual and augmented reality technologies in higher education; increase of the efficiency of learning and motivating students through the use of AR-applications on smartphones; formation of reading culture by means of augmented reality technology; prospects for the use of augmented reality within the linguistic and literary field of preschool and primary education. The authors analyzed the specifics of toys with AR-applications, interactive alphabets, coloring books, encyclopedias and art books of Ukrainian and foreign writers, which should be used in working with children of preschool and primary school age; the possibilities of books for preschool children created with the help of augmented reality technologies are demonstrated. The relevance of the use of AR for the effective education and development of preschoolers and primary school children is determined. Problems in the application of AR in the educational process of modern domestic preschool education institutions are outlined. A method of diagnostic research of the level and features of readiness of future teachers to use AR in the educational process of preschool and primary education has been developed. Criteria, indicators are defined, the levels of development of the main components of the studied readiness (motivational, cognitive, activity) are characterized. The insufficiency of its formation in future teachers in the field of preschool and primary education; inconsistency between the peculiarities of training future teachers to use AR in professional activities and modern requirements for the quality of the educational process; the need to develop and implement a holistic system of formation of the studied readiness of future teachers in the conditions of higher pedagogical education are proved. A model of forming the readiness of future teachers to use AR in the educational process of preschool and primary education has been developed.

Just, Richard E., Eithan Hochman, and Sinaia Netanyahu. Problems and Prospects in the Political Economy of Trans-Boundary Water Issues. United States Department of Agriculture, February 2000. http://dx.doi.org/10.32747/2000.7573997.bard.

Full text
Abstract:
The objective of this research was to develop and apply a conceptual framework for evaluating the potential of trans-boundary bargaining with respect to water resource sharing. The research accomplished this objective by developing a framework for trans-boundary bargaining, identifying opportunities for application, and illustrating the potential benefits that can be gained thereby. Specifically, we have accomplished the following: - Developed a framework to measure the potential for improving economic efficiency considering issues of political feasibility and sustainability that are crucial in trans-boundary cooperation. - Used both cooperative and non-cooperative game theory to assess feasible coalitions among the parties involved and to model potential bargaining procedures. - Identified empirically alternative schemes of cooperation that both improve upon the economic efficiency of present water usage and appease all of the cooperating parties. - Estimated the potential short-run and long-run affects of water reallocation on the agricultural sector and used this information to understand potential strategies taken by the countries in bargaining processes. - Performed case studies in Israeli-Jordanian relations, the relationship of Israel to the Palestinian Authority, and cooperation on the Chesapeake Bay. - Published or have in process publication of a series of refereed journal articles. - Published a book which first develops the theoretical framework, then presents research results relating to the case studies, and finally draws implications for water cooperation issues generally. Background to the Topic The increase in water scarcity and decline in water quality that has resulted from increased agricultural, industrial, and urban demands raises questions regarding profitability of the agricultural sector under its present structure. The lack of efficient management has been underscored recently by consecutive years of drought in Israel and increased needs to clean up the Chesapeake Bay. Since agriculture in the Middle East (Chesapeake Bay) is both the main water user (polluter) and the low-value user (polluter), a reallocation of water use (pollution rights) away from agriculture is likely with further industrial and urban growth. Furthermore, the trans-boundary nature of water resources in the case of the Middle East and the Chesapeake Bay contributes to increased conflicts over the use of the resources and therefore requires a political economic approach. Major Conclusions, Solutions, Achievements and Implications Using game theory tools, we critically identify obstacles to cooperation. We identify potential gains from coordination on trans-boundary water policies and projects. We identify the conditions under which partial (versus grand) coalitions dominate in solving water quality disputes among riparian countries. We identify conditions under which linking water issues to unrelated disputes achieves gains in trans-boundary negotiations. We show that gains are likely only when unrelated issues satisfy certain characteristics. We find conditions for efficient water markets under price-determined and quantity-determined markets. We find water recycling and adoption of new technologies such as desalination can be part of the solution for alleviating water shortages locally and regionally but that timing is likely to be different than anticipated. These results have been disseminated through a wide variety of publications and oral presentations as well as through interaction with policymakers in both countries.

Abstract:
Review question / Objective: To review the parameters for nursing assessment according to the human life cycle evidenced in the scientific literature? Condition being studied: Nursing assessment is one of the steps of the nursing process (NP), it consists of obtaining data that allows knowing the health status of a person and focusing the attention on the identified needs, guaranteeing the effectiveness and safety of care. According to the literature, there are different assessment approaches from nursing, which require an understanding for their use that is rarely developed, the above caused by various difficulties such as lack of time, problems at the level of knowledge, no interest, clarity in the parameters, among others, leading nursing professionals to lean towards the biomedical model due to its traditional use throughout history, which results in an apparent affinity. To deal with this situation, it is intended to determine by means of a scoping review, the assessment parameters applied in nursing according to the stages of the human life cycle, in order to contribute to the understanding of this component and make visible its importance within the disciplinary development.

Oduncu, Arif. Country Diagnostic Study – The Kyrgyz Republic. Islamic Development Bank Institute, December 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.55780/rp21001.

Full text
Abstract:
The Country Diagnostic Study (CDS) for the Kyrgyz Republic uses the Hausmann-Rodrik-Velasco growth diagnostics model to identify the binding constraints being faced in its quest for higher and more sustained economic growth and make recommendations to relax these constraints. Hence, the findings of the CDS can help the Islamic Development Bank in identifying areas where it can have a greater impact and provide an evidence-basis to support the development of the Member Country Partnership Strategy (MCPS). During the last two decades, the Kyrgyz Republic has recorded low performance in economic development. The country recorded only 3.0 percent of average annual Purchasing Power Parity (PPP)-adjusted Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita growth from 2000 to 2019. The Kyrgyz Republic is facing several economic and social problems that are challenging its economic development model. This CDS report shows that the most binding constraints to inclusive and sustainable growth include i) low human capital, ii) poor infrastructure, iii) government and market failures, and iv) high cost of capital. The Kyrgyz development model’s performance is a subject of concern not only for the government and other local stakeholders but also for the technical and financial partners of the Kyrgyz Republic, including the Islamic Development Bank. The MCPS aims to contribute to the global efforts made by the Kyrgyz Republic to meet its economic and social needs through leveraging opportunities offered by the new business model of the Bank. Given the Kyrgyz Republic’s positives, the Bank can consider financing transport, energy and ICT infrastructure projects and supporting manufacturing and agricultural sectors to assist economic growth.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the state of development of Ukrainian advertising in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Studying the work of Ukrainian advertising agencies during the war is a unique experience of Ukrainian specialists during the war. The article emphasizes that Ukrainian advertising agencies have become an example for global corporations with their resilience and courage. The study of the place of Ukrainian advertising agencies in the world system made it possible to state that the domestic industry is developing in step with the world one. This was facilitated by the fact that Ukrainians quickly adapt to modern technologies and catch global trends. In some areas of advertising, Ukrainian agencies are one step ahead of European and American ones. Communication with Ukrainian heads of advertising campaigns, marketers and target specialists, who were directly involved in the “rescue” of companies at the beginning of the war, made it possible to find out how the business development strategy changed, what tactical solutions they used at the beginning of the war, and how they optimized the work of the team. The results of the research give grounds for asserting that in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, many brands have developed new rules for content and communication in social networks. The content strategy of brands needs maximum adaptation to new realities. The traditional division of content into branded, selling, fan and interactive content is losing its relevance. This market niche is occupied by social, supportive and useful content. In particular, as an example of social brand content, we can name: the national position of an advertising agency, support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, assistance to consumers, new adapted services, HR information about agency support, assistance to temporarily displaced persons, volunteering. Ukrainian advertising agencies were able to quickly adapt to the conditions of the war, entered international markets, took care of their employees and continue their work. Keywords: advertising, agencies, Russian-Ukrainian war, social networks, work with clients, personnel problems.

Full text
Abstract:
M. Sergeyev’s article “Ukrainian National Idea in the Modern Ukrainian Media Space” states that modern Ukrainian philosophical thought tries to get rid of the flaws and stereotypes of its one-sided orientation “to the East” and tries to establish a European orientation in the minds of Ukrainian citizens. The theoretical proof of the new worldview took place throughout the formation of the Ukrainian state from Little Russia to Ukraine and presents its actual struggle for independence. It is an integral concept that reflects the process of forming theories and views of prominent Ukrainian thinkers on the place and role of Ukrainians in the becoming and development of an independent Ukrainian state. As O. Zabuzhko emphasizes, “all Ukrainian philosophical, historical, sociological thought of the past and our centuries (including the diaspora) is permeated with the sacred idea of nationalism”. The author concludes that the logic of the historical development of the Ukrainian national idea reveals only one model of its socio-political future, which implies the need for Ukraine’s integration into the European and world community. This path requires the moral and political readiness of the entire Ukrainian society for its implementation and prevents the emergence of any other - alternative ideas. Solving this problem is complicated by the need to return to Ukraine the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Of course, this model will lead to significant political and economic tensions in society (the final severance of economic relations with Russia, the closure of non-competitive industries, the outflow of labor to the west). At the same time, the orientation of the Ukrainian national idea to the west will increase competition in all branches of production and will be a condition for further self-improvement of Ukrainian society.
