Abstract:
Availability of fresh water is one of the elementary conditions for life on Earth, however, water is a limited resource, which is now under an unprecedented pressure by global population growth, climate change and demand from several economic sectors. In particular, irrigated agriculture is one of the major water-consuming sectors. The aforementioned issues justify the need for a sustainable and rational use of water in irrigated crops. An IoT based irrigation system helps in supplying adequate amount of water to field and domestic crops in all seasons with minimum human interference. To deliver the required amount of water to the soil, we developed a system which works on the data obtained from the sensor nodes about the surroundings. The approach used helped in increasing the lifespan of the sensor nodes. Since the crop was being provided by adequate amount of water, the quality of crop increased.

Abstract:
Recently, a rapid growth in the population in urban regions demands the provision of services and infrastructure. These needs can be come up wit the use of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as sensors, actuators, smartphones and smart systems. This leans to building Smart City towards the next generation Super City planning. However, as thousands of IoT devices are interconnecting and communicating with each other over the Internet to establish smart systems, a huge amount of data, termed as Big Data, is being generated. It is a challenging task to integrate IoT services and to process Big Data in an efficient way when aimed at decision making for future Super City. Therefore, to meet such requirements, this paper presents an IoT-based system for next generation Super City planning using Big Data Analytics. Authors have proposed a complete system that includes various types of IoT-based smart systems like smart home, vehicular networking, weather and water system, smart parking, and surveillance objects, etc., for dada generation. An architecture is proposed that includes four tiers/layers i.e., 1) Bottom Tier-1, 2) Intermediate Tier-1, 3) Intermediate Tier 2, and 4) Top Tier that handle data generation and collections, communication, data administration and processing, and data interpretation, respectively. The system implementation model is presented from the generation and collection of data to the decision making. The proposed system is implemented using Hadoop ecosystem with MapReduce programming. The throughput and processing time results show that the proposed Super City planning system is more efficient and scalable.

Abstract:
The conventional technique of measuring the quality of water is to gather the samples manually and send it laboratory for analysis, but this technique is time overwhelming and not economical. Since it is not feasible to take the water sample to the laboratory after every hour for measuring its quality. The water quality measuring system can measure the essential qualities of water in real time. The system consists of multiple sensors to measure the standard of water, microcontroller and wifi modem to send the information to the watching center. It's a true time system which is able to endlessly measure the standard of water and can send the measured values to the watching center when each predefinedtime. During the past decade, water needs have increased unpredictably in India. Increasing demand of water supply has become a major challenge for the world. Wasteful usage of water, climatic changes and Urbanization has further depleted the resource. Conservation and management of the resource must be given utmost importance. In this paper, we present an IoT design for water monitoring and control approach which supports internet based data collection on real time bases. This paper proposes a system that addresses new challenges in the water sector -flow rate measuring and the need for a study of the supply of water in order to curb water wastage and encourage its conservation. We also measure the quality of water distributed to every household by deploying pH and conductivity sensors. The traditional water metering systems require periodic human intervention for maintenance making it inconvenient and often least effective. This system is designed to overcome for shortcoming of the existing models for a ubiquitous usage of wireless systems for smart quality monitoring and communicate datawirelessly.

Abstract:
A smart city permits the viable usage of assets and better administration of assets for the residents. Consistent advances are being seen in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) to intensify the convenience and nature of the foundation. With the advancement of the foundation in metropolitan areas, the number of vehicles has also increased significantly in recent years, causing issues with traffic congestion and street security. IoT has helped solve different issues every day concerning street security, parking spaces, and traffic congestion. Parking spaces can be difficult to detect, particularly during the pinnacle hours in significant metropolitan urban communities, which can be extremely disorganized. In this project, we plan to introduce an altered plan of an Internet of Things (IoT) empowered smart parking system to tackle the parking issue in the city. The system includes an on-location organization of the various sensors, which are utilized to recognize the accessibility of the parking spaces and send data to the server about the equivalent. A real-time web link will be given that permits an end client to take a look at the accessibility of a parking space and book it for a given time frame. A parking executive system can be planned and sent to all smart and future urban communities with the help of sensor systems and IoT innovation. This will save the client's time and diminish the congestion undeniably.

Abstract:
The brand new outbreak of Coronavirus poses a primary threat and has been declared a global public fitness emergency. entire world is trying to stop the virus but no efficient device and approach is there to govern it. Tracking a patient's fitness remotely is genuinely essential, especially for patients affected by a long term disease. This necessitates the creation of a single platform where consumers may monitor data in real time. This paper discusses health monitoring systems that can be implemented with market sensors and allow patients to be tracked without needing to visit a doctor. Doctors need constant updates on the patient's health- related measures such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature in such crucial situations. For this type of situation, an IOT-based system can provide automation that keeps doctors up to current at all times via the internet .Heart disease has become a major concern in recent decades, and many individuals have died as a result of various health issues As a result, cardiac disease must be treated with caution. This disease can be averted if the ECG signal is studied or monitored early on. So here's the deal: An AD8232 ECG Sensor and an Arduino with an ECG Graph are used to monitor the heart rate. The ARDUINO- UNO board is used as a microcontroller, and the Cloud computing concept is used in this system. In this design, we'll interface an AD8232 ECG Sensor to an Uno and use a digital plotter or the Programming IDE to observe the Ecg.

Abstract This research work discusses an IoT based smart ferry system. The proposed system is implemented in NODE Red based simulations. Each component is considered as nodes and analysis is done. The technical process is explained with the help of a flowchart. And how the information is passed on to the sailors, ferry crew, ferry operators, ferry controllers and maintenance engineer is discussed. In addition it is displayed using the Node red dashboard as well as through ThingSpeak cloud server for further analysis. The proposed idea is to build an IoT infrastructure consisting of smart devices which will measure different attributes of a boat and notify the captain or the rescue team of the difficulties or the problem faced by the boat during a trip. The monitoring system is based on open source software to retrieve data from the sensors at intervals and send them to the cloud in order to easily monitor them via a dashboard. Fully automated and robust IOT enabled smart devices are developed to collect the data from the boat. The Data to measure the weight and passenger on board is collected by Weight Sensor and IR Sensor and the Captain of the Ship is notified for the same. Temperature of the engine room is monitored and under severe circumstances the rescue team is notified for the same. The wind speed is also monitored in case of stormy conditions.

Abstract:
Abstract: The current number of working mothers has increased dramatically. Later, child-rearing has become a daily challenge for many families. Thus, many parents send their children to grandparents' homes or to daycare centers. However, parents are not always able to monitor their children's every move. Therefore, the Internet of Things-based Baby Monitoring System (IoTBBMS) is being proposed as an efficient and inexpensive IoT-based monitoring system in real time. We also came up with a new algorithm for our system that plays a key role in providing better child care in the absence of parents. In the design process, the Node Micro-Controller Unit (NodeMCU) is used to collect sensor-readable data and upload it via Wi-Fi to the AdaFruit BLYNK server. The proposed system uses sensors to monitor important fetal parameters, such as ambient temperature, humidity, and crying. The system structure consists of a baby's crib that will automatically swipe using the engine when the baby cries. Parents can also monitor their children's condition with an external webcam and open a playful toy located on the baby's crib from a BLYNK server to entertain the baby. The proposed prototype of the system is designed and tested to prove its cost-effectiveness and simplicity and to ensure safe operation to enable child rearing anywhere and anytime via the network. Finally, the child monitoring system is proven to be effective in monitoring the child's condition and the environment in accordance with the model. All data taken from the sensors / modules will be stored in the Mobile application and periodically updated. The Health Algorithm is used in these databases to get information about useful physical conditions as any common symptoms of the disease can be easily identified. The proposed prototype of the system is designed and tested to prove its cost-effectiveness and simplicity and to ensure safe operation to enable child rearing anywhere and anytime via the network. Finally, the child monitoring system is proven to be effective in monitoring the child's condition and the environment according to the prototype. Keywords: IOT, Research, Node MCU, BLYNK, MQTT

Abstract:
Tracking of public bus location requires a GPS device to be installed, and lots of bus operators in developing countries don't have such an answer in situ to supply an accurate estimation of bus time of arrival (ETA). Without ETA information, it's very difficult for the overall public to plan their journey effectively. In this paper, implementation of an innovative IOT solution to trace the real time location of buses without requiring the deployment of a GPS device is discussed. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) proximity beacon to trace the journey of a bus by deploying an Estimate location beacon on the bus. BLE detection devices (Raspberry Pi 4) are installed at selected bus stops along the path to detect the arrival of buses. Once detected, the situation of the bus is submitted to a cloud server to compute the bus ETAs. A field trial is currently being conducted in Johor, Malaysia together with an area bus operator on one single path. Our test results showed that the detection of BLE beacons is extremely accurate and it's feasible to trace the situation of buses without employing a GPS device during a cost-effective way.
