Abstract:
Abstract Retirement is an ever-evolving, dynamic, and complex social construct we associate with the end of one’s career. Exploring what retirement means to different people can contribute to a better understanding of the implications of this important transition at the individual and societal level. However, sifting through participants stories is not always a straightforward endeavor, particularly in the case when participants have something to hide. This paper examines the value of qualitative research methods in unpacking complex personal narratives. As the landscape surrounding mature workers’ experiences continues to change, this paper extends policy debates about retirement, as well as scholarly conversations about the richness and complexity of qualitative research.

Abstract:
Abstract: Interviews hold great significance for candidates as it's the moment when their hard work is put to the test in hopes of achieving their desired and successful life results. It plays a crucial role in our educational system and hiring process by helping to identify the best applicant based on the necessary abilities. We can do better by improving our communication and confidence skills through mock interviews. This article introduced new way to practice for interviews using AI-based mock interview platform. The three characteristics that our system will utilize to evaluate the user are emotions, confidence, and knowledge base. A deep learning CNN algorithm uses facial expressions to determine emotion classify the emotion into one of the seven categories, and the basis for evaluating confidence is voice recognition through the use Python modules for Pydub audio and natural language processing. A web scraping module will map keywords to internet resources by extracting them from incoming answers. Semantic analysis technique is utilized for knowledge assessment and keyword mapping. So, using this method will help the job candidate feel more confident and less stressed or anxious before the actual job interview

Abstract:
In today's fiercely competitive job market, interview performance plays a pivotal role in securing employment. However, candidates often face the challenge of limited access to personalized and realistic interview practice opportunities, hindering their confidence-building efforts. To address this gap, we propose an AI-powered mock interviewer web application that creates an interview environment for candidates and elevates their interview preparation. The web app extracts vital information from user-uploaded resumes using Google's Palm model and Textract, crafting interview questions customized to the user's role and skills. It offers HR and Technical interview rounds. The HR segment assesses soft skills, while the Technical round presents role-specific technical questions, resulting in comprehensive performance reports and personalized feedback for targeted preparation. Notably, the web app employs voice analysis to detect fillers, pauses, and repetitive language, offering practical insights for improved communication. This analysis provides practical insights into communication challenges and offers actionable feedback to improve interview articulation and bolster user confidence. Key Words: Interview Preparation, AI-Powered Mock Interview Simulation, Personalized Feedback, Confidence Building

Abstract:
Interviews with scholars and experts are becoming more and more popular as e-learning materials. Yet how an interview video should be edited is mostly based on personal preference rather than on rigorous scientific research. Thus this study tested whether showing the interviewer in educational interview videos can affect the learning outcome. Two interview learning materials on two topics (eye tracking and text–picture integration) were conducted by the author and edited in two versions. One version was with the interviewer and the other version was without the interviewer, the latter’s image and voice being edited out. Psychology students ( N = 180) watched either the video with or the one without the interviewer and answered the corresponding questions. Results in an online experiment yielded a better learning outcome in the video without the interviewer than in the video with the interviewer. It is probable that the absence of the interviewer can protect participants from extraneous processing and a split-attention effect. The without-interviewer video, segmented by displaying interview questions in keywords on slides, seemed to assist participants in managing the essential processing. The absence of the interviewer may avoid the confusion of multiple instructors, which fosters the generative processing. This study provides practical and pedagogical implications and suggests that removing the image and voice of the interviewer is likely to promote learning.
