Abstract:
This study aims to determine the identity that emerges through language in Indonesian language major in tertiary engineering concentration. The research was conducted in the Department of Marine Engineering, Sepuluh November Institute of Technology Surabaya. The method used is descriptive qualitative with Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis. Van Dijk's three models are macrostructure, social cognition, and microstructure. The results of the study show that identity does not only emerge from a person's psychological background but is also seen from the language used. most students try to use mimicry in using language, that is, students outside Surabaya try to use Suroboyoan as the language of instruction in discussions in the Indonesian class as an effort to bring out their identity as suroboyo architects, no longer their origin areas to be socially acceptable. Other findings, Indonesian language classes bring up the identity associated with the understanding adopted by students.

Abstract:
The area of the campus of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) and its housing complex are usually inundated during heavy rain. It is because the slope of the land in the campus generally flat. Moreover, it is because some of the drainage channels contain sediment that reduce the optimum capacity of the channels. Hence, an evaluation of the drainage system of ITS needs to be conducted. The steps of doing this evaluation are (i) identification of the existing problems, (ii) collection of primary and secondary data, (iii) literature review, (iv) calculation of capacity of the existing channels, (v) calculation of runoff, and (vi) analysis of the existing retention ponds. The primary data includes flow direction, the slope of channels, dimension of channels, and thickness of sediment in the channels. The secondary data comprises of rainfall intensity, Master Plan of ITS, and land-use. The calculation includes engineering design, bill of quantity (BOQ), and budget. A standard operation procedure for maintenance of drainage system to make the channels optimum is also suggested. From the analysis, it is shown that the maximum daily rainfalls are 136.09 mm/day for 5 year-rainfall return period and 159.19 mm/day for 10 year-rainfall return period. The cause of inundation in ITS is there are some channels which are not connected to each other. As a result, the drainage water cannot flow easily to receiving water body (river). Another cause of inundation is the slope of some channels that does not properly made. The inundation of some roads is because there are no street inlets such that the water could not flow to the side channels. It can be concluded that (i) it needs some addition of secondary channels and box culvert in some areas, (ii) the slope of some channels need to be rearranged, (iii) 288 street inlets must be constructed along the planning area.

Kata kunci: dual-channel supply chain, penetapan harga, online channel, offline channelABSTRACTDual-Channel Supply Chain (DCSC) is a mixed structure which simultaneously utilizes both offline andonline channel to distribute one particular product or service. This structure provides market reach extensionin which eventually leads to revenue increase. Whatsoever, aside of this advantage, DCSC also brings somechallenging problems. One prominent problem is of about between-channel pricing-problem. In its practice,DCSC actors often apply intuitive offline and online pricing without further analytical evaluation. Yet there isno representative mechanism to address this critical problem. This paper attempts to resolute this challengeby proposing a qualitative estimation mechanism on customer acceptance on online channel relative tooffline one. This proposed approach is about to utilize an interplay relationship between offline and onlineprices. The main parameter to consider is a ratio of customer acceptance parameters. These parameters areelicited from 3 groups of products which are sold under DCSC structure in Indonesian cases to exhibit thedifferent properties in each product group. Numerical experiment result shows that the utilization of thispricing mechanism may increase the financial performance of DCSC under observation.Key words: dual-channel supply chain, pricing, online channel, offline channel

Abstract:
Gending rare or sekar rare in Bali represents a form of singing that parents traditionally perform for their children. The ever-expanding influence of globalization, ushering in new cultural trends that often transform into popular culture, has consistently overshadowed indigenous cultures, including that of gending rare. It is imperative to undertake preservation efforts through appropriate means before traditional cultures and artistic expressions become marginalized amidst the tidal wave of popular culture. One effective avenue for cultural preservation is the creation of observational-style documentary films. As a medium for preservation, documentary films should be meticulously crafted, not only to engage the audience but also to adhere to a coherent narrative structure. The objective of this endeavor is to unveil the creative process involved in constructing a narrative framework within the context of an observational-style documentary, titled "Padu Arep". The creation of this documentary adheres to the established five stages of film production: development, pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution. The outcomes of this undertaking demonstrate that by employing the story circle approach popularized by Dan Harmon, filmmakers can adeptly shape the narrative structure within an observational-style documentary, such as "Padu Arep". The critical analysis of interview results, subsequently interpreted in an open manner to fit seamlessly within the narrative structure, plays a pivotal role in the editing phase of this documentary. These findings are further affirmed through quality control measures during the preview editing stage, thereby affording the filmmaker the latitude to preserve their subjectivity while successfully attaining the objectives of the documentary film "Padu Arep". The implication of this research is to empower filmmakers to create observational-style documentary films without compromising the preservation of subjectivity in shaping the narrative structure. Keywords: documentary, gending rare, narrative structure. Abstract:
The popular historical narrative of the batik Sidoarjo needs to be reexamined based on historical methodology so that there is no historical bias based only on oral stories of the general public. Many studies are trapped in an inaccurate understanding of local historicity. As a result, these various studies have failed to fit batik Sidoarjo into its full context, instead it has become a kind of narrative standardization on its characteristics and history. This study aims to criticize the historical construction that has been popular in relation to the basic understanding of batik Sidoarjo and to explain the position of batik Sidoarjo in the cultural framework of its people. This article is the author's attempt to provide an analysis or explanation that is different from the historical narrative of batik Sidoarjo which is commonly used in various discussions. This research is classified as a qualitative research, using the historical method which consists of four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This research uses historical and sociological approaches to collect, select, and critically examine historical sources of Sidoarjo batik, resulting in historical facts. The results showed that the historicity of batik Sidoarjo refers to the batik activities in the areas of Kedungcangkring, Jetis, Sekardangan, Gajah Mada St. (Peranakans), and Tulangan, all of which have a direct relationship with both Peranakans nor indigenous. Batik Sidoarjo is not framed by traditional rituals, nor is it under the control and domination of the royal aristocracy. Its growth is based on the factor of the economic needs of the supporting community, which tends to be a trading commodity. The presence of other groups of people or nations such as Peranakan Chinese, Indo-European, Dutch, Arabic contributed to the birth of Sidoarjo batik. Keywords: batik, Sidoarjo, historical criticism. Abstract:
Today there is a lot of competition for education to stay abreast of the very rapid developments of globalization. Education is the primary need of the community where formal education can be obtained, one of which is through the library. Nowadays, public awareness of the importance of reading books is very minimal, so designers need to make changes to the concept of the library to attract people's interest in starting a lifestyle of reading books. Complete facilities, especially in the field of technology, in a library can be one of the attractions for visitors and is equipped with relaxing facilities and a café for a short break. In general, libraries are indoor and closed which gives a serious and tense impression so designers provide several digital library innovations with the concept of a learning commons library according to today's lifestyle. Uplifting the 'Transitional Contemporary' style of Banten culture with contemporary culture and 'Natural' style which can produce harmonious designs and do not collide with each other, are able to combine aesthetic elements that complement each other and produce a new room design that feels different. With that, a theme was created "Innovative Bantenese Transitional Contemporary Interior Design For The Future Library" which can achieve the initial goal of designing the Banten Province Regional Library to be able to increase reader interest by paying attention to aspects of comfort, efficiency and productivity with a touch of technology and adjustments to the lifestyle of the next generation. now without leaving the locality of Banten culture. Keywords: Banten, innovative, natural, library.AbstrakMasa kini banyak persaingan pendidikan agar tetap mengikuti perkembangan arus globalisasi yang sangat pesat. Pendidikan menjadi kebutuhan primer masyarakat dimana pendidikan formal mampu diperoleh salah satunya melalui perpustakaan. Abstract:
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the valuation of Islamic banking stocks using the intrinsic value method and the margin of safety Graham number, and determine whether Islamic banking stocks are undervalued or overvalued. This research is included in the descriptive quantitative research. The data source used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id and www.Indopremier.com, while the research sample selection technique uses a purposive sampling method with the criteria of companies that have been IPOs for more than five years and the number of samples found consists of three Islamic banking stocks, namely BRIS, BTPS, and PNBS shares. Based on the results of the valuation of Islamic bank stocks using the intrinsic value method and margin of safety, graham numbers are obtained if the three Islamic bank stocks experience an overvalued/expensive condition above the criteria set by Benjamin Graham, the cause is because investor euphoria is quite high regarding the news of the merger of Bank Syariah Indonesia so that it can be concluded that the three Islamic banking stocks have considerable investment risks. Therefore, investors need to wait and see until the position of the Islamic bank's stock price is close to its fair price. Keywords: Graham Number, Intrinsic Value, Margin of Safety, Market Share, Islamic Banking. Maka dari itu, investor perlu wait and see sampai posisi harga saham bank syariah mendekati harga wajarnya. Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
CITIES International Conference is an annual international conference organized by the Urban and Regional Planning Department of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS Surabaya). The conference, which debuted in 2005, serves as a platform for academics and practitioners to present, disseminate, and discuss research results in the field of urban and regional planning. Through the efforts of all involved, CITIES has grown from a primarily national conference to one that attracts a diverse, worldwide audience from the Asian, European, Australian, and American continents. The CITIES International Conference in 2023 will take a grand design related to “TECHNOLOGY” and “INFRASTRUCTURE” in planning. Cities are centers of civilization, powerhouses of economic growth and innovation. However, urban planning faces challenges as cities transform into larger areas. One way to tackle this challenge is to embrace new technology trends that can help urban planners to help improve the quality of life in cities. Technology is becoming increasingly important in urban planning as a consequence of urban development, as well as ongoing changes, need to be projected. With this need in mind, CITIES International Conference 2023 is designed to be a meeting place for stakeholders, including academics, researchers, practitioners, and bureaucrats, both within and beyond national boundaries. The conference aims to disseminate research results and practical experiences at local, national, and global levels, and to share insight and recommendations on improving the quality of the city system in the future. This year, the CITIES International Conference 2023 will join the CIV-PLAN Join Conference organized by the Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Earth Engineering. The 1st edition of the CIV-PLAN Join Conference will be held in the city of Surabaya by elaborating on all departments in the faculty, including Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Geophysics, and Environmental Engineering. The theme raised in the joint conference is “SMART INFRASTRUCTURE FOR BETTER LIVING SOCIETY” which is held on October 25-26, 2023. The CITIES International Conference 2023 has agreed to be a part of the CIV-PLAN Joint Conference sub-event. It is hoped that with a joint conference like this, the CITIES International conference will be better known throughout the world and the cooperation that will be established will increase, especially for the media to exchange knowledge and maybe it will also be able to open relations with departments within the scientific cluster of the faculty of civil engineering, planning, and earth sciences. The CITIES conference has obtained a one-day slot (October 26) from the CIV-PLAN Joint Conference committee. On October 25, CITIES keynote speeches were given during the CIV-PLAN Joint Conference session by Prof. Tan Yigitcanlar (Queensland University of Technology) and Dr. Rulli Pratiwi Setiawan, S.T., M.Sc. (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember). On the second day, parallel discussion sessions were held for all conference participants. These sessions were divided into three rooms based on the similarity of the sub-themes, including (1) Smart Infrastructure for Urban Development, (2) Sustainable Infrastructure Planning, and (3) Applied Technology for Planning. The committee closely monitored the event at the venue during these parallel discussion sessions. The time allocated for each speaker was 15 minutes, and the question-and- answer (Q&A) session for all presenters was 30 minutes. The Q&A session was carried out by both the moderator and other speakers on the panel. There are around 39 papers presented from various universities in Indonesia and abroad. In total, there were over 150 seminar participants from academic, government, and NGO institutions. Technically, the hybrid implementation of the CITIES conference went very smoothly. The participants’ enthusiasm during the conference remained high until the end of the event, as evident from the active participation during the Q&A session. The only issue during the conference was that some speakers experienced network disruptions due to poor signal conditions. However, this did not dampen our enthusiasm to share knowledge and improve communication between participants and presenters across countries. Overall, the CITIES 2023 conference was successfully held and resulted in fruitful discussion during our plenary and parallel sessions. Abstract:
Abstract All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review: The CITIES 2020 Conference used double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. There was two process of review, such as abstract and full paper review. The conference provided review form for the reviewers to decide their recommendation. There were four decision options which is available in the review form, such as accepted with no revision, accepted with revision, resubmit and review, and decline. Therefore, there was opportunity for author to resubmit the article after revision. • Conference submission management system: The submission was divided into two period, namely abstract and full paper submission. The accepted abstracts were suggested to submit the full papers. The authors submitted their manuscript to the official email address of the CITIES Conference, it is citiesconference@gmail.com which was monitored daily by the team in charge in the paper division. Furthermore, the Editors of conference determined the suitable reviewers after the paper submission accepted from the paper division. During the submission, the authors should complete the registration form to indicate their preference to the publication options. The CITIES 2020 Conference provided three options of publication, such as accredited international journal, accredited national journal, and Scopus indexed proceedings journal. • Number of submissions received: 59 • Number of submissions sent for review: 59 • Number of submissions accepted: 58 • Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): 98.3% • Average number of reviews per paper: 2 • Total number of reviewers involved: 12 • Any additional info on review process: The CITIES 2020 Conference provided the process of checking the similarity index of all papers submitted. The result of plagiarism check was included in the review result form which was delivered to the authors. • Contact person for queries: Name : KDM Erli Handayeni Affiliation: Urban and Regional Planning Department, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, Indonesia Email : erli.martha@gmail.com

Through the efforts of all involved, CITIES has grown from a primarily national conference to one that attracts a diverse, worldwide audience from the Asian, European, Australian, and American continents. CITIES International Conference 2022 will focus on the theme “Future Challenges of the System of Cities”. This theme is important because cities do not grow in isolation, but have interdependent relationships with regions, countries and continents on a larger scale. These relationships must be studied in depth to ensure that urban areas can grow evenly without causing negative effect in the surrounding area. Additionally, this theme also prompts us to examine why production and consumption activities are concentrated or distributed in urban areas of different sizes and compositions. Furthermore, this theme also leads us to explore why the gap between cities, in terms of both skills to income, must be addressed in a measured and careful manner. With this need in mind, CITIES International Conference 2022 is designed to be a meeting place for stakeholders, including academics, researchers, practitioners and bureaucrats, both within and beyond national boundaries. The conference aims to disseminate research results and practical experiences at local, national and global levels, and to share insight and recommendations on improving the quality of city system in the future. CITIES International Conference 2022 was organized in collaboration with the World Planning School Congress (WPSC) and the Asian Planning School Association (APSA) as a joint congress from August 30th to September 2nd, 2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions caused by high numbers of cases, especially in Indonesia, the event was held virtually using the Zoom platform.
