Abstract:
One of the important resources in management is human resources. The importance of human resources can be felt in managing a company or organization. Regardless of the advancement of technology today, the human resource factor is still very much needed in playing a role for the success of an organization. The quality of human resources is an absolute requirement to start development. In the view of Islam everything must be done in an orderly and orderly manner and should not be carelessly. The role of human resources in this matter greatly determines the pace of a company/organization to run directed. Human resources are human potentials as a driving force for an organization to realize its existence. Islamic human resources require an education program that is entirely pure sharia and not contaminated with conventional elements. In essence, reliable human resources based on sharia must be placed on the foundation of spiritual awareness (servants of Allah) and rational (khalifah Allah). There is no contradiction between spiritual consciousness and rational consciousness in Islamic economics. As servants of Allah, humans become obedient creatures who always carry out Allah commands and stay away from His prohibitions, and as Allah's khalifah, humans become successful and successful creatures through the support of science.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the impact of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance mediated by organizational ambidexterity. The unit analysis for this study is employees who work at Bina Insani University, located in Bekasi City, West Java Province. This research uses quantitative methods. The population of this study were 100 Bina Insani University employees. Total respondents are 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires through the census method. Data were analysed using Partial Least Square. This study confirms that market orientation does not influence marketing performance significantly. However, it confirmed the direct impact of positive and significant entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance. This study also confirms the role of organizational ambidexterity as a mediator in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and marketing performance but not in the relationship between market orientation and marketing performance. Thus, Bina Insani University needs to always improve the implementation of its entrepreneurial orientation and organizational ambidexterity to ensure the improvement of its marketing performance.

And every company has a different way of recruiting employees. The results of this study indicate that CV. AL Mubarakah combines external and internal sources in recruiting employees. The method used is a closed method and various recruitment processes carried out by CV. Al Mubarakah is starting from the preparation of a recruiting strategy, searching for job applicants, making a pool of applicants, and interviews to select prospective new employees. Supporting factors in the recruitment are easier search for applicants, vacant vacancies are filled faster, employees work more flexibly and relaxed. Abstract:
Henry Mintzberg is both Cleghorn Professor of Management Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and professor of organization at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. His research deals with issues of general management and organizations; his current focus is on the nature and styles of managerial work, as well as forms of organizing and on the strategy formation process. He also heads up a team of people from five universities around the world, a group working to establish what they hope will be “next generation management education”—specifically, a master's program aimed at the “development in context” of practicing managers. His own teaching activities focus on ad hoc seminars for experienced managers and work with doctoral students. Over the years, he has worked with a number of substantial family firms and contributed to a film about a patriarchal Canadian grocery family enterprise, Steinberg's. Mintzberg received his doctorate and master of science degrees from MIT's Sloan School of Management and his mechanical engineering degree from McGill. Mintzberg is the author of the Nature of Managerial Work (1973), The Structuring of Organizations (1983), The Strategy Process (a textbook with James Brian Quinn, now in its third edition), Mintzberg on Management (1989), The Rise and Fall of Strategic Planning (1994), and the Canadian Condition: Reflections of a “Pure Cotton ” (1995). He has written about a hundred articles, including two Harvard Business Review McKinsey prize winners, “The Manager's Job: Folklore and Fact” and “Crafting Strategy.” FBR talked to Mintzberg about planning, collaboration, boards, governance and his new management program.

The commitment of human resources in an organization is very important and influences the work relations. Organizational commitment cannot be separated from the term loyalty. Loyalty and commitment is a unity that has a confusing meaning. In simple terms, loyalty means how long employees work and obey the leadership's orders. This shows that maintaining commitment is an obligation for leaders. The commitment of human resources within the Bali BinaInsani Islamic Boarding School cannot be separated from the authority and power of the kiai as a leader. The kiai in the pesantren organization is the holder of full authority and power who can determine the path in maintaining the commitment of human resources of religious.

Abstract:
For the present study it was proposed the development of a participated action-training program based on the description of the family support component workers situation, in the information from the retrospective analysis and based on the daily experiences of work activity, in view of future organizational restructuring. For this, a group of nine participants was formed, five female and four male technicians, aged between 18 and 40 years. For the development of this project four stages were defined: (1) Characterization of the sample and survey of problem-situations; (2) Characterization of the work situations; (3) Elaboration of the training process; (4) Implementation of the training process. Through the survey of problem situations, identified by applying an adaptation to the INSAT questionnaire, a training process was developed and implemented that contributed to the development of skills of the work situation self-analysis. The analysis of the work situation associated with the participatory training revealed to be an asset for the success of the organizational restructuring of the company. Therefore, it is a strongly contextualized action-training project, transforming the work situation into a privileged place for the producing of knowledge.

In 1978, aged 65, Edith took up the position of professor of political economy at the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires or European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in France, and became the first associate dean of research and development (1982–4). She advanced the growth and professionalism of INSEAD research. Uwe Kitzinger, then dean, regarded her appointment as a significant step towards his vision of INSEAD as a European centre of knowledge generation. She took up the position there at a time when the ideas of resource-based, competence-based, dynamic capabilities-based, knowledge-based approaches to business strategy, strategic management, and organization science—all derived from her thinking—were emerging. At INSEAD, as elsewhere, she is remembered for the quality of her mentoring. As her husband’s health declined she became a devoted carer but continued to travel, write, and lecture extensively.

Directrices de la OMS para la reducción de los riesgos de deterioro cognitivo y demencia. Organización Panamericana de la Salud, 2020. http://dx.doi.org/10.37774/9789275322567.

Abstract:
Abstract:
Information is a critical corporate asset that has become increasingly vulnerable to attacks from viruses, hackers, criminals, and human error. Consequently, organizations are having to prioritize the security of their computer systems in order to ensure that their information assets retain their accuracy, confidentiality, and availability. While the importance of the information security policy (InSPy) in ensuring the security of information is acknowledged widely, to date there has been little empirical analysis of its impact or effectiveness in this role. To help fill this gap, an exploratory study was initiated that sought to investigate the relationship between the uptake and application of information security policies and the accompanying levels of security breaches. To this end, a questionnaire was designed, validated, and then targeted at IT managers within large organizations in the UK. The findings presented in this paper are somewhat surprising, as they show no statistically significant relationships between the adoption of information security policies and the incidence or severity of security breaches. The paper concludes by exploring the possible interpretations of this unexpected finding and its implications for the practice of information security management.

Abstract:
Abstract The South Asian context for their problems of political stability and of insti tution building is one of extraordinary geographical, political, and socioeconomic diversity. South, in the Arabian Sea, lies an archipelago consisting of sparsely populated coral islands, the Maldives, with a one party republican form of government. On the northern border with China are two land-locked semi feudal states, Bhutan and Nepal; Bhutan remains a monarchy and Nepal underwent a dramatic political transition to establish a multiparty state headed by a constitutional monarch. Pakistan in the northwest and Bangladesh in the southeast grew out of a bloody partition and a subsequent civil war; in both countries democratically constituted governments have replaced authoritarian military regimes. In the center of the region is India, a federal polity with a long tradition of representative institutions grounded on a strong industrial and technological base. Sri Lanka, off the southeastern tip of India, is an island republic besieged by an insurgency, escalating violence, and the militarization of civil society. Massive economic and demographic pressures further compound their political and institutional problems. The region accounts for a mere 2% of the global income, but must support 22% of the global population. Almost half the population of the region is believed to live below the poverty line without basic needs. The population of the region increases at a rate of 25 million per year, five times the population increase of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries.

Abstract:
Interview with Anthony Davidson, SuperAguri F1 GP Driver (autosport.com, March 2, 2007): Q: Can you actually learn anything from the [F1 videogame] though? AD: Absolutely. When I did the 2004 season, I really relied on having video data from the team and using the PlayStation games as well to learn the circuits. We always deal in corner numbers, we don’t use the proper corner names, so we have a little map in the car with the numbers. For you to visualize it beforehand is a help, because when they talk about a bump in turn three then you know what they are talking about before you have even walked the circuit or seen any onboard footage. You know roughly what the track looks like and when you get out there you smile because it is exactly what you were doing in your living room. And now the graphics have stepped up another level it is so much more realistic. F1 drivers can benefit from computer simulations, with a supplement of training before racing on a newly built circuit, with no consolidated knowledge. Managers (and students, too) can benefit from PC-based simulations that recreate complex business worlds as well. Books contain theories, along with a good number of examples. Computer-based business games can add dynamism and a temporal dimension to the standard managerial theories contained in books. Many researchers think that the potential of the computer as a learning tool is very high if we involve the user in a simulation process, instead of giving him a description of reality. This theory is confirmed by many field examples, as shown before by the Formula 1 pilot, who adopts a particular software in order to learn how to drive on a circuit that he has not tested directly. U.S. Marines play Quake and Unreal to simulate the mission in which they will be involved. Business games, finally, start to be adopted in managerial education as learning support tools. For example, EIS simulation has been developed at Insead Business School in order to simulate organizational change, while FirmReality has been developed at Bocconi University to study the integrated use of organizational capabilities to gain competitive advantage. Scientific and managerial literatures recognize the potential of these instruments for learning purposes (compatible with andragogical and collaborative learning theories), but cannot address their design and the integration within distance-learning practices. The current debate on computer simulations involves the research and the standardization of rules for the project phases, in order to take advantage of the potential attributed to this tool, and enhance the compatibility between managers/students and this form of learning.

Abstract:
A wide range of indicators of the world’s developed economies by income level and geographical classification, included in the ranking of the global innovation index, published by the World Intellectual Property Organization according to the methodology of the international business school INSEAD, was studied and analyzed. It has been determined what place Ukraine occupies according to world rankings of conditions and results of innovative development. It is noted that the political and operational stability of Ukraine is ensured with the introduction of European norms regarding the protection of intellectual property rights at the customs border. The purpose of the study is to carry out a comparative characterization of a wide range of innovation indicators of the developed economies of the world by income level and by geographic classification, which are involved in the rating of the global innovation index, including an analysis of Ukrainian innovations taking into account the latest changes to legislation; analyzed the dynamics of indicators of the work of the customs authorities of Ukraine in relation to taking measures to protect intellectual property rights during the implementation of foreign economic activity in the context of the innovative capacity of Ukraine for 2012–2022. The research methodology is based on the methods of general research (method of comparison and grouping), as well as analysis, synthesis and observation, which are used to systematize the achievements of the theory and practice of modeling the economic systems of different countries of the world and individual indicators of the activity of the state body. Research conclusions. The results of research into the rating of the global index of innovations of economic systems of different countries of the world are presented. The TOP-20 most innovative countries in recent years have been analyzed. A comprehensive review of the strengths and weaknesses of Ukraine’s indicators in the ranking of the global innovation index was made. It was established that Ukraine has the best results in the field of application of knowledge and technologies in the key output results of innovative development, and the worst indicators in the development of the internal market and institution. The consequences of the introduction of changes and implementation of the customs legislation of Ukraine in the field of intellectual property protection to the standards and practice of the European Union are shown by the dynamics of the quality of the use of measures by the customs authorities regarding the protection of IPR in the process of foreign economic activity.

Abstract:
Education is considered as a catalyst for change and sustainable development. While, the Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to face global challenges, especially in developing economies. In this regard, the research intends to empirically investigate the relationship between selected UN SDGs and GDP per capita growth rate as a proxy for economic well-being in Albania, focusing more on the role of education, which places emphasis on the knowledge economy. This study employed the Ordinary Least Square regression model as a statistical technique where GDP per capita growth rate is taken as the dependent variable. The data for the period 2007-2020 were sourced from the World Bank, International Labour Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization and INSTAT. The results show that total government expenditure on education (% of GDP), decent employment and hunger are positively related to the GDP per capita growth. However, decent employment appears to be insignificantly related, while gender equity/women’s empowerment appears to be negatively insignificantly related to the GDP per capita growth rate. The research indicates that education can promote economic and socioeconomic goals, consequently, the Albanian government should invest more in education and training.

Abstract:
The regulatory framework for the current generation of operating plants and advanced light water reactors (ALWRs) planned for near term construction has evolved over several decades to permit effective regulation of the light water reactor designs. To address other reactor types, development of a framework that possesses the attributes of being technology neutral, risk-informed and performance-based with corresponding processes (regulations and guidance) is ongoing by several U.S. and international organizations. A key design and operating principle which is applied to existing plants and will continue to be applied to future plants is defense-in-depth. The advent of advanced reactor designs, some of which are not based on light water reactor technology, provides incentive for changes in the regulatory framework in several areas, including defense-in-depth practices. To support development of an integrated framework, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) conducted research to identify and assess specific elements of possible technology neutral, risk-informed, performance based frameworks that had been proposed by others. The intent was to develop a preliminary framework based on the results of this review and evaluation and to provide recommendations in areas where additional development and testing would appear to be most beneficial. “Technical Elements of a Risk-Informed, Technology-Neutral Design and Licensing Framework for New Nuclear Plants”, EPRI Report 1016150 documents this research (Reference [1]). For defense-in-depth (D-in-D) existing viewpoints from various sources were compared and an alternative integrated approach which addresses key issues was developed. These alternative views are contained in publications such as NUREG-1860 [2], Regulatory Guide 1.174 [6], IAEA Safety Standards Series No. NS-R-1 [3], IAEA 75-INSAG-3 Revision 1 [4], INSAG-12 [4], and IAEA INSAG-10 [5]. The results of this research support the ongoing efforts to develop standards and guidance for advanced plants with safety characteristics which differ from existing and advanced LWRs.

Abstract:
This paper presents CFD validation efforts for the high-speed, multihull Delft Catamaran 372 advancing in calm water with steady drift angles. Available experimental data include hydrodynamic loads (from BSHC), sinkage and trim measurements (from BSHC and CNR-INSEAN), and stereo-PIV measurements on several transverse planes (from CNR-INSEAN). Three organizations from three countries have conducted unsteady Reynolds averaged Navier Stokes (URANS) or Detached Eddy Simulations (DES) by using their own codes: CNR-INSEAN using Xnavis; IIHR, The University of Iowa using CFDShip-Iowa and CNRS/ECN using ISIS. Computations have been made using different grid strategies (structured grid with overlap, unstructured grid with or without an automatic mesh refinement (AMR)), several turbulence models (the isotropic one equation Spalart-Allmaras model, the anisotropic two equations Shear Stress Transport (SST) k and Explicit Algebraic Reynolds Stress Model (EARSM) models, and Detached Eddy Simulations) and different free surface approaches (single phase level set (LS) and volume of fluid (VoF)). Comparisons are made in terms of hydrodynamics loads, local quantities in separated vortex cores (i.e. axial vorticity, axial velocity, position of the vortex and turbulent kinetic energy (TKE)), planar data (velocity field, axial vorticity field and TKE on selected planes) and wave patterns. Discussions and comparisons on the onset and progression of the separated vortical structures are presented. In general computational results have shown that the main features of the separated flow field are well captured by all the computations. No large differences between submissions can be inferred from the cross planar fields; effects of grid resolution and turbulence model have been investigated by the vortex analysis. Grid resolution effects are dominant in the onset region; only very refined grids (total of order of 100M of grid points or using an AMR technique) are able to provide field quantities closer to EFD data. Turbulence model effects are dominant in the progression of the main vortices, with DES simulations and RANS based on non-isotropic models proved to be superior (stronger and less dissipated vortices) than one equation isotropic models. In terms of hydrodynamic loads, a general good agreement between the submissions has been observed (standard deviation on the resistance prediction of about 3.5%). Similar differences between CFD have been seen for the lateral force prediction, whereas larger discrepancy is observed for the yaw moment estimation (about 7%). The comparison with measured data reveals a rather large overall error (of the order of 15%). However, EFD values where collected for different conditions and a larger model; reference values have been obtained by an interpolation procedure on speed/drift plane, whereas no Reynolds number correction was considered. Differences due to grid resolution and the model adopted for the description of the free surface have been also investigated; very fine grids are required to capture wave breaking and rebounds phenomena. Both single phase LS and VoF approaches are able to capture wave induced vortices, some differences are seen in their progression; the VOF method shows the formation of foam close to the free surface region, whereas the LS provides a long life vortices.
