Abstract:
Management Information Systems (MIS) are widely used in big corporations to collect, organize, filter and present data, resulting in more effective decision-making. Through use of MIS, individuals shape the way how they make decisions. In our study, we posit that utilization of MIS in the decision-making process impacts the decision support capabilities of systems. The use of MIS develops speed, quality, and other features of decision-making. Moreover, improvement in decision-making is aimed to ensure customer satisfaction and good business results. All MIS strategies should therefore be tailored in a way that the all business goals are achieved.

Abstract:
The process of informatization, which has embraced all aspects of the life of modern society today, has several priority areas, which, of course, should include the informatization of education. It is the fundamental principle of the global rationalization of human intellectual activity through the use of information and communication technologies (hereinafter ICT). The ultimate goals of informatization of education are to provide a qualitatively new model for training future members of the information society, for whom active mastery of knowledge, flexible changes in their functions in work, the ability for human communication, creative thinking and planetary consciousness will become a vital necessity. Such a profound influence on learning goals is based on the potential of the computer as a means of cognitive and research activities, a means of providing a personality-oriented approach to learning, contributing to the development of individual abilities of students in both the humanities and the exact sciences.

Abstract:
The present article focuses on the use of information technology in education in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, analyzing the sustainability of online learning methods, as reflected in students’ attitude towards the researched topic. The paper aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability in education, despite challenges and changes which may occur in our society. Based on an inductive research approach, qualitative research methods (e.g. the questionnaire) are used in the present paper, according to the modern trend of using qualitative research methods in the field of economic papers. The research approach is interdisciplinary, considering aspects of economics, sociology and psychology. The research findings illustrate the fact that on a short-term basis, online learning may be implemented in universities with success, but on a long-term basis, a hybrid system based on blended learning must be designed in order to ensure sustainability in education. The research may have a social impact beyond academia, as it relates to sustainability in education

Abstract:
Intellectual pursuit and the recognition of ideas is a central concept. Copyrights protect the rights of intellectual creators while balancing those rights with the needs for access. As technologies have expanded, and production has become more sophisticated, the legal regulations surrounding their use have become more complex. With the advent of the interactive web 2.0 and increased resource sharing, as well as growth in distance learning opportunities, complying with the legal use of information technology can be daunting. In any case, leaders and other educators should be aware of the more important aspects of technology-related copyright laws and regulations. This article provides an overview of copyright law and fair use for educational research purposes. It explains different options for intellectual production and sharing, and notes administrative actions to support copyright compliance.

Abstract:
It has become commonplace for companies operating in a global marketplace to relocate, extend, or establish new production facilities overseas. In this global context it is also normal for organizations to replicate the implementation and use of an established information system in a new location. Such replication is not trivial however and if not properly managed can lead to IS obsolescence. Drawing on a practice lens approach the paper presents a case study of the attempted replication of an e-procurement system within a global notebook manufacturer. The study argues that effective replication needs to take into account not only the technical aspects of the system but also the interpretive schemes of its users and their awareness of organizational routines that take together amount to a technology-in-use. The paper concludes with a discussion of the issues arising from the study and their implications for global information systems management.

Abstract:
With the advancement of technology, there has been a commensurate increase in the use of information systems in American Universities. However, these increases have yielded an increase in both resource misuse and attacks on University information system networks. Data from 155 undergraduate students was used to investigate the role of policy presentation, on students’ knowledge and transfer of information system policies. Results indicate that policy training does improve knowledge of information systems policies and transfer to novel situations however the form in which this training is presented is not important, as long as the information is presented in some format.

Abstract:
Two major trends that have an effect on our planet: increase and urbanization. The anticipated increase for the primary one and half this century is discouraging. Betting on the estimate, there'll be nine to ten billion individuals by mid-century. This population is simply beneath seven billion that means that there'll be a couple of fifty percentage increases from the start to the center of this century. One could dialogue the relative accuracy of explicit models, however all of them agree that there'll be several, more mouths to enclose the approaching decades. IT has reworked several different aspects of human endeavor and has helped produce systems for responding to a good varies of social group wants. Indeed, transportation, communication, national security, and health systems square measure utterly dependent thereon to perform even basic functions. Abstract:
This paper illustrates lessons we learned from user trials. Our brief was to design product graphics to encourage fast and accurate use of a new point-of-sale laser scanner. Our early intuitions were proved wrong. We had thought that the most effective design would explain how the scanner works. But our tests showed that this confused users. So instead we concentrated on guiding people to successful behaviour, without concern for the way the scanner works. Tests with typical users indicated the best graphic - simple, familiar, conspicuous, and easy to name. It significantly increased the acceptability of the product and improved the speed and accuracy with which people used it, even though it encouraged an incorrect model of the way the scanner works. This finding has implications for the design of graphics and metaphors for all kinds of user interfaces. Additionally, user trials proved invaluable in challenging our mistaken assumptions and in guiding us to an effective solution.
