Abstract:
Archive structuring is sorting and combining archives according to type and use of archives for organization's benefit. Electronic filing systems are useful in facilitating the management of archives in organization. The study aimed to determine the implementation of the Dynamic Archival Information System or Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis (SIKD) at the Purwodadi Grobogan Regional Archives and Library Office. The research method was descriptive qualitative. The results showed that implementation of SIKD in dynamic archives at the Purwodadi Grobogan Regional Archives and Library Office began with document recording, archive control, distribution of archives, archive storage, and archive shrinkage. Archives are recorded in various methods consist of agenda books, control cards, and manuscripts. Archive control used are a control card system, spreadsheet introduction, and the SIKD framework application, which is equipped with a login. Distribution of archives used identification cards in SIKD after taking advantage of new developments and using conventional process combinations. Archive storage, both active and inactive records used the usual storage process that relied on the classification code recorded on the control card. This study concludes that the creation of the archives to archives shrinkage needs to be optimized. Due to the limited human resources of digital archive managers, not all dynamic archive files are digitized, and not all units can use the SIKD system due to website network problems. This study implies that the management of digital archives needs improvements in meeting the needs of those who require them at the Purwodadi Grobogan Regional Archives and Library Office.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to explain archive management in supporting information services in the administration section. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The results obtained from the research explain that the creation of archives through incoming and outgoing letters, the distribution of archives is carried out through procedures written in the standard operating procedures for distributing letters in government agencies, the storage of archives is carried out with a numbering system, the use of archives through retrieval and borrowing of archives, maintenance of archives carried out regularly every two months; Archive depreciation is only carried out by transferring archives to the warehouse. However, there are obstacles in its management, namely the absence of archivists, insufficient storage cupboards, and no archive management training while the supports are adequate storage warehouses and administrative staff who are painstaking in managing archive.

Abstract:
Between archives, as documentary by-products of human activity retained for their long-term value, and the archive, as a concept used outside of the discourse of professional archivists, there is a semantic, conceptual, and theoretical gap. However, this interval is particularly fertile. In this space, non-traditional archives users such as found-footage filmmakers find inspiration. Through the narratives of their work, they show what is not always visible in archives. Their artworks confront us with unarchived and unarchivable dimensions (what is not archived and what cannot be archived), constituent of how archives are created. In studying the archives that are part of found-footage works through an archival usage framework (exploitation), three main cat- egories of the unarchived and the unarchivable emerge: absence, which is linked to gaps, fragments, and incompleteness; the forbidden, which manifests in archives as material traces; and the invisible, which is not shown. These three categories have to do with an unconceived (impensé) state – a state of the archival field reflecting the intentional or unintentional inconceivability or omission of some of its theoretical or practical aspects. By investing in the unconceived – in other words, by studying archival science from practices on the margins – it is possible to renew ideas and discourses inside the discipline.

In the management of infrastructure archives, there are three problems that need to be solved: the lack of smart infrastructure archives management paradigm with systematic and standardization, the fact that 2-dimensional paper-based infrastructure archives cannot accurately describe three-dimensional infrastructure archive information, and the problem of "information gap" caused by the lack of integration of infrastructure spatial information and archives. This paper proposed a new paradigm of smart infrastructure archive management. The Smart Infrastructure Archive Management Paradigm takes realizes the perception of infrastructure archive resources by combining the Internet of things technology, cloud computing and big data technology, as well as geographic information system. This paper proposes the Physical Archives Management Platform, the Archives Smart Repository Management Platform, the Infrastructure Archives Visual Management Platform. The research outputs have been applied to the Archives Management of Zhengzhou University and achieved good feedback.

The active use of digital and network technologies by archival institutions for the effective implementation of one of the key activities of the archive, namely, the popularization and use of documentary heritage by society in the digital space determines the relevance of the problem. Information technology has assumed the role of the keeper of archives, the information carrier of archive documents and their publication. They change archival theories and ensure the transformation of the public memory and cultural heritage of the country. Documentary edition in the electronic environment of foreign archival business has different approaches and practices. The models of archived information differ in digital form. The purpose of the article is to assess the trends in the popularization of documentary heritage on the web archive of foreign countries. The research strategy will contribute to the analysis of concepts and problems in the scientific research of foreign authors, the definition of types and features of the creation of electronic editions and methods of describing metadata. The research materials include foreign regulatory and methodological documents; websites of a number of foreign archives: The National Archives of Great Britain, the Federal Archives of Germany, the National Archives and Records Administration of the USA (NARA), and the French National Archives. The research results will be both recommendations to archival institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the positive experience of popularization of documentary heritage and the creation of software products.

A significant amount of electronic documents have been produced as a result of the quick advancements in computer and network technology as well as the ongoing promotion of e-government, and the amount of material available in digital archives has significantly expanded. It is challenging for traditional archives focused on entity management to fulfil modern demands. It is essential to gradually encourage the creation of digital archives in order to meet the utilization needs of archival information resources in the information age. Many issues that are not favourable to the development and utilization of information resources of digital archives have gradually emerged in the course of the development and utilization of information resources of digital archives. These issues are influenced by a number of factors, including service concept and personnel information literacy. The related attributes of information resources are sorted and processed using the ID3 algorithm in this study. Decision-making attributes of management techniques are identified, and the data mining Apriori algorithm is used to address the issue of increasing the retrieval speed of users of digital archives. When the new software system is finished, archive resources can be developed and used in a complete and practical way, increasing the utilization efficiency of archive information resources by 37.32 percent. As a result, it is possible to fully exploit the information resources of the digital archives, further appreciate their value, and ensure their long-term growth.

The centralized database can store a variety of electronic archives. Electronic archives face a variety of network attack vulnerabilities as information technology and network technology continue to advance. Furthermore, these archives will be readily forged and tampered with by internal management or external attackers. Data security and authenticity problems prevail in China’s management system for archives. First, this exploration elaborates the blockchain technology, distributed database technology, and distributed database system structure. Secondly, blockchain technology is applied to the authenticity protection of electronic archives. Then, an optimization model of university archives based on blockchain technology is constructed. Finally, this exploration investigates the current use of blockchain technology for college archive management systems. The questionnaire is used to understand the current university personnel’s views on the college archive management system under the application of blockchain. The survey results suggest that most people support the digital college archive management system. At present, the operation efficiency of the college archive management system still needs to be improved, and the quality of archives search should be promoted. Therefore, the college archive management system still needs to optimize the archive’s efficiency as well as quality. According to the above survey results, this investigation gives suggestions for optimizing the college archive management system using blockchain technology, as well as some suggestions and references for further management.

Abstract The National Archives Information System (SIKN) and the National Archives Information Network (JIKN) are the government national priority programs that aimed at providing web-based electronic archive treasury information facilities to the public. However, threat and disruption of critical information asset on electronic archives can cause interruption strategic objectives goals, vision, and mission of The National Archives of Indonesia (ANRI) in organizing archives that impact the network node, and the public. Therefore this research aims to analyze and identify risks in the SIKN JIKN electronic archive service and determine the potential risk of threats to important information assets. The OCTAVE Allegro method used to measure information security on five important information assets of the SIKN JIKN electronic archive information service. The results showed 64 areas of concerns analyzed, as many as 40 had to mitigate while the remaining 24 could be deferred or postponed. The conclusion of the risk assessment results in recommendations that must take to manage and protect critical assets in electronic archive services and supporting material for policymaking.

Digitizing archives or converting archival media from conventional to digital is one way to optimize archive management in an institution so that archives can be archived more efficiently and easily accessed. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the optimization of the digitization of archives in the Central Library of Padjadjaran University. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Techniques in data collection, researchers carried out three series of stages, namely interviews, observation and literature study. The results of this study show that the digital archives at the Padjadjaran University Central Library are compiled in a system called e-Office and centralized with the Padjadjaran University Record Center. With this digital archive, archivists and users can easily access it simultaneously and make it easier to retrieve information. Digital archive management goes well through four stages, namely creation, use, maintenance, and depreciation. However, there are still obstacles that are experienced, including the low awareness of some higher education institutions in collecting files for digital archives, a lack of human resources with special expertise in the field of archiving, and a lack of human resources with expertise in technology. It can be concluded, the digitization of archives and their overall management at the Padjadjaran University Central Library is considered optimal.

<p align="justify">Archives are a collection of documents that contain information and have useful value for a certain period of time. Every information institution, especially in the archives sector, needs to have archive management, including recording, storage, maintenance and depreciation. The Bandung City Library and Archives Service as an information institution should have good archive management. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting this research to find out how archives are managed and the obstacles experienced by the Bandung City Library and Archives Service. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research conclusion is that archive management at the Bandung City Library and Archives Service is in accordance with Law Number 49 of 2009 concerning archives, starting from creation, storage, maintenance and depreciation. However, in its management the Library and Archives Service still has obstacles, such as a lack of human resources and a lack of infrastructure in the form of space to accommodate archives.</p>

The archiving process at the Pengadilan Tinggi Agama Palembang was still manual, where archive officers must prepare storage areas, sort and classify archives, put files into folders, and create archival data. The increasing number of archives and piling up in storage space makes searching for archives difficult and takes a long time in the process of searching for the required archives. The purpose of this research is to improve the existing system by designing a web-based archiving digitization application. In this research, the system development stage uses the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with an application development framework using CodeIgniter. Based on the test results using the blackbox testing method, the system can display information on the decision archives graphically, the archive search process quickly, downloads the decision archive documents digitally, digital documents that have been separated by archive type and archive year, so it can be concluded that the archival information system with the application of information technology can facilitate work in processing, storing, reporting to obtain information and can then be used for decision making.

This research aims to analyze the digital-based archives management of the Mumtaz Information System at Madrasah Aliyah Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong which can realize the quality of records management in administrative services effectively and efficiently at Madrasah Aliyah Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection instruments used were interviews, observation and documentation. The research results obtained show that the digital-based archive management of the Mumtaz information system at Madrasah Aliyah Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong through the planning, management, control and supervision stages has been managed effectively and efficiently, however digital archive management has limited storage for many archives. Digital archive management activities include at least two things, namely: archive storage and archive retrieval. Digital archive storage activities are archive management activities that start from transfer of archive media to the arrangement of archives in new media. The use of digital archives already uses the official application from Madrasah Aliyah Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong, for this reason, in realizing the quality of administration of administrative services effectively and efficiently at Madrasah Aliyah Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong, the official application is used, namely the Mumtaz Information System (SI MUMTAZ) in managing archives digitally. Accessibility of archival information in the era of information disclosure is marked by the development of technology and information, which is a challenge for archival institutions in meeting community needs for historical information sourced from archives. As a public information institution, archival institutions must transform in carrying out their functions and duties in order to provide excellent service to the public using static archives. However, in practice, efforts to realize the accessibility of static archives as a source of public information at archival institutions (LK) have experienced problems related to the deposit of archives as a collective memory. This is caused by two things, namely that there are still many archive creators who have not submitted static archives to le, and the limited understanding and archival outreach of the public. This study describes how to improve the accessibility of archives as public information on LK in the era of information disclosure, using a qualitative approach and literature study methods. The results of this study indicate that the low accessibility of archives is caused by the lack of optimal archival management development, the low availability of archives as a result of the low quality of archive management in LK, and the lack of public understanding of the role of LK as a repository of historical information.

Abstract:
The article deals with a little-known and hardly imaginable in the context of pre-revolutionary clerical administration scientific direction of the Moscow Ecclesiastical Consistory Archive. Based on archival material and works of ecclesiastical Moscovites of the 19th - early 20th centuries the principles of the introduction of diocesan materials into science, as well as the parameters of departmental influence within the structures of church institutions on the example of the Moscow Ecclesiastical Consistory Archive are revealed. By the second quarter of the XIX century, the Consistory had acquired a large collection of diocesan documents with undisclosed information potential. Apart from departmental rules, the interest in the archive depended on psychological factors influencing research motivation. The establishment of science in the pre-revolutionary consistory archives was helped by a special committee which was set up in the first half of the 19th century to work with the archive complex. Its employees had to bear the main burden of searching for the necessary documents. The development of archives by the scientists was nonlinear: the periods of growth and decline alternated. Attention to the archive's documents was dulled by the change in OLDP's educational methodology, which replaced historical reconstructions with visual preaching. Nevertheless, the Archive's processing mechanisms were preserved and only the First World War interrupted further development of the information capacity of the Consistory archives. Thanks to the combined efforts of the clergy employed in the Archive, as well as the improved quality of the documents preserved, the Archive of the Diocesan Institution is gradually becoming a breeding ground for scholars studying the history of the Russian Church.

AbstractTechnology provides number of impacts for community and contribute in changing habits and behavior of a community. One of the changes can be shown in seeking information, people will find many alternatives to fulfill their information needs easily and quickly. Overcoming this, both library and archive shall be able to adjust to users whose daily life could not be separated from internet. To make information in library and archive reachable for information seekers, either library or archive shall be able to take advantage of the users’ nature, one is by creating a website to facilitate them in finding information easily in everywhere. This study discusses about how the users’ perspective of department of archive, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) website. It focuses on UGM students who actively take advantage from website of the UGM Archive service as the object. The method applying in this research is descriptive qualitative. In collecting the data and information, the researcher applies deep interview technique to the informants. The result shows that, overall, layout and interface from Department of Archive UGM website works properly and the navigation system is easy to understand, however; in accessing the information of collection, the users face several difficulties, since they have to follow complicated procedure and shall wait for getting the information they need. Good archive management is very important in providing information services so as not to hinder operational activities in madrasas. The purpose of this study is to explain archive management in supporting information services in the administrative section at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Gresik. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. The research site is at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Gresik. The informants of this research are administrative staff. The results obtained from the study explain that the management of archives at Madrasah Aliyah 1 Gresik which is under the administrative division has been carried out well in supporting information services at the madrasa through several stages: 1) Creating archives through incoming and outgoing letters; 2) The distribution of archives is carried out through the procedures written in the standard operating procedures for distributing letters in madrasas; 3) Archive storage is done by numbering system; 4) Use of archives through retrieval and borrowing of records; 5) Archive maintenance is carried out regularly every two months; 6) Shrinkage of archives is only carried out by transferring archives to the warehouse. However, there are obstacles in its management, namely the absence of archivists, fewer storage cupboards, and no training in archive management. While the supporters are adequate storage warehouse and administrative staff who are painstaking in managing archives.

Background of the study: This study discusses the archival publication virtual services through exhibitions, published by ANRI (National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia). This study will analyze publication of content displayed through the virtual archival exhibition.Purpose: The aim is to look at aspects of the publication of archives, selecting and uploading information or document to the web or the site, repackaging information, and using technology. Archived publication is the dissemination of information about archives for the community, one kind of activities that are by holding a virtual exhibition. The virtual exhibition Allows visitors in the number of simultaneous accesses to one collection entity and Provides information quickly intervening and mainly via the web.Method: This study uses qualitative methods of content analysis. Methods of collecting the data through observation on ANRI Virtual Exhibition and literature studies.Findings: The discussion was further reviewed restaurants by using perspectives on aspects of archival publications, archival exhibitions, and archive exhibition virtualization. The results that can be obtained are ANRI roommates virtual conducts archival exhibitions through the JIKN at https://jikn.go.id. Displaying two themes, the history of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Treasury of the UNESCO Certificate of Archives. The virtual archival exhibition is an excellent publication from ANRI to present information from the archive so that it can be easily accessed by the public. But at this virtual archival exhibition, there are still several menus and features are still empty.Conclusion: The advice that can be given is to add back the content, features and media information offered to visitors through the virtual archival exhibition. An electronic filing system is something that is needed by companies as a record keeping of their archives. The condition of archives management in the Admin and Secretariat division of PT XYZ itself is currently not optimal, meanwhile archives are urgently needed to ensure the continuity of operational activities. Archive documents that have not been optimally arranged in filing cabinets make it difficult to retrieve archives and take around 10 to 15 minutes if at any time the archives are needed. This project aims to make an update from manual archives to website-based electronic archives which are solutions and innovations aimed at making 3the filing system more effective and efficient. With the waterfall method this application will assist in the process of managing records and provide information on archive category reports in the Admin and Secretarial Division and make it easier to find archives again. After testing, it was discovered that the website-based electronic filing application that was implemented was in accordance with the needs of both the manager and the website user because it makes work easier and shortens the time to manage and obtain archival information. Customs books are the main mass source on the history of domestic and foreign trade of Russia in the 17th – 18th centuries. The main body of these documents is available in various fonds of the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts. Customs books are also kept in several other archives, libraries, and museums in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Scientific literature provides information on the availability of documents of this type in some regional archives of the Russian Federation. However, no systematic identification and registration of customs books in regional archives has been made. In 2019–2020, the author of the article has carried out a survey of several regional archives that, according to the information in scientific literature, store customs books. The survey was mostly carried out in absentia (by sending written requests to the archives and by viewing digitized copies of archival series on the Internet). The information on the customs books found in the regional archives was compared with the data provided in the historiography. The survey has established presence of customs books in eight regional archives, including the State Archive of the Arkhangelsk Region (23 books), the State Archive of the Astrakhan Region (84), the State Archive of the Voronezh Region (4), the State Archive of the Irkutsk Region (13), the State Archive of the Murmansk Region (1), the State Archive of the Pskov Region (42), the State Archive of the Tyumen Region (201), the Velikoustyug Central Archives (2). In total, 370 such sources have been identified in 34 towns (about 10% of all currently known sources of this type). The revealed customs books date from 1646/47 to 1754. Their overwhelming majority are 18th century documents. The results of the customs books identification in the regional archives are preliminary, since only archives cited in historiography have been examined so far. In addition, the identified corpus of customs books demands clarification and supplementation, since references provided by the archives may be incomplete, and there are inaccuracies and omissions in the series. It is concluded that to collect comprehensive and accurate data on customs books in central and regional archives is only possible de visu.

The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the importance of digitizing archives in this digital era to maintain the efficiency and accessibility of archives. The research method used is research with a qualitative approach to literature studies, interviews and observations. Primary data was obtained by observing the Cimahi City Static Archives website and literature study, while secondary data was obtained from interviews conducted with Expert Archivists at the Cimahi City Archives Service. The results of this study indicate that digitizing archives is an important step in maintaining archives that have historical value, so that the information contained in these archives can be preserved for the future. This digitization of archives can overcome problems in archive management such as a lack of efficiency in archive management and lack of accessibility to obtain information from existing archives. The Cimahi City Archives Service has made efforts to digitize archives related to the main performance index of the Cimahi City Archives Service itself, namely to increase community literacy and adapt to technological developments. Improving community literacy is carried out by presenting publications that can be a source of information for the public regarding history in Cimahi City, thus history in Cimahi City continues to be passed on to future generations because it has been stored in a digital media.

Archives are important documents that are stored with the aim that if they are needed again the archive will be easy to find. Archives have an important role in the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of North Sumatra Province, so it is hoped that the archive management process is good, fast, and easy. If the archives are not managed properly it will have an impact on the difficulty of finding information and this can hinder the next stage of work. Departing from these problems, a digitalized information system is needed to record these documents. Therefore, archives must be managed with a good and correct management system. This study discusses the design of a document archiving information system according to the needs of the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of North Sumatra Province based on the system design that has been compiled including use case diagrams, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams. The Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of North Sumatra Province still uses the manual method in managing archives, so with the creation of this system, it is hoped that it can help the work of the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of North Sumatra Province in terms of archive management. Searching data is also easier and faster because officers or employees do not need to look for archives in books or files listing items that have piled up because they can look at the archive database in the agency.

In order to improve the effect of key information extraction from digital archives, a key information extraction algorithm for different types of digital archives is designed. Preprocess digital archive information, taking part of speech and marks as key information. Self-organizing feature mapping network is used to extract the key information features of digital archives, and the semantic similarity calculation results are obtained by combining the feature extraction results. Combine with mutual information collection, take that word with the highest mutual information value as the collection cent, traverse all keywords, and take the central word as the key information of digital archives to complete the extraction of key information. Experiments show that the recall rate of the algorithm ranges from 96% to 99%, the extraction accuracy of key information of digital archives is between 96 and 98%, and the average extraction time of key information of digital archives is 0.63 s. The practical application effect is good.

Firstly, the authors summarized the difficulties in digitalizing paper archives, and explained how to correct the tilt of digital archives. Next, the adaptive histogram equalization was improved to realize high-quality digitalization of archive images. In addition, the image processing flow was explained for the digitalization of archive images, and the horizontal projection histogram was adopted to quickly extract and detect the archive image texts being digitalized. The proposed image processing approach was proved effective through experiments.

Regional screen archives, including film, video and digital media, protect the local vicinity’s film heritage. Such archives generally fall outside the fashion historian’s consciousness. There is a wealth of information on fiction film and fashion, but non-fiction film remains an underused source. This article examines the Screen Archive South East (SASE) based at the University of Brighton. The archive has a rich collection of amateur and professional non-fiction film from the late nineteenth century to the present day. The archive’s resources inspired a collaborative project between the SASE and the Royal College of Art (RCA) entitled Screen Search Fashion. It investigated dress from the inter-war period, an era that saw significant changes in fashion. The resulting online resource includes film clips, stills, descriptions, contextual information and links to further archival sources. This article iscusses the Screen Search Fashion project and presents three case studies showing how the films at SASE offer a rare glimpse into people’s lives and their clothing choices.

E-Government is a government-issued policy to increase access to open information for digital-based communities. Higher education through the Higher Education Archives Institute seeks to implement an e-government system by joining the National Archival Information Network (JIKN) and the National Archival Information System (SIKN). On the other hand, to implement this, Higher Education Archives Institutions need to digitize their previously conventional archives. Old media has become digital, the results of which can be accessed by the public. Digitizing archives is one of the tasks of the Higher Education Archives Institution to provide information on the track record of higher education, starting from its founding to its development. This study aims to analyze the management of digitization of archives carried out by the Archives Office of the University of North Sumatra in supporting the implementation of e-Government and the utilization of an information network system that is used as an archive access portal. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach which aims to obtain an overview of archive digitization management activities at the Archives Office of the University of North Sumatra. The results showed that digitizing the archives of the University of North Sumatra was carried out by transferring vital historical archives contained in photographs, cassette tapes, and VHS tapes, Betamax (old media). Then the University of North Sumatra Archives became a member of JIKN and SIKN to support the implementation of e-Government. This study recommends that archival research researchers start to create a grand design for digitizing archives with high value as a source of knowledge. Then, this research will be helpful for policymakers and all stakeholders to manage the digitization of university archives.

Good records management plays an important role in organizational effectiveness, especially in administrative governance, namely supporting the availability of information effectively and efficiently, as planning material, policy-making material, control function, decision-making, evaluation, and accountability material. In reality, there are still many agencies that pay little attention to archive management which deviates from archival regulations. This research aims to determine the archival system in administrative governance, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors in the archival system in office administrative governance at the Maccini Sombala Village Head Office, Makassar City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research to explore all the information and information obtained in detail during the research process. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, reduction, data presentation, and verification. The test results show that the archive system in administrative management at the Maccini Sombala Village Head Office, Makassar City, which includes dynamic archive management, has not been implemented effectively. This is due to the archive storage process being not optimal, namely using only one filing cabinet for all types of archives so that the archives can get scattered. The lack of attention from archival staff regarding archive supervision also means that archives are still piled up on office desks. Supporting factors for fast archive services, so that incoming archives can be processed immediately. The inhibiting factor for the archive system is limited facilities and infrastructure for managing and maintaining archives

Increased technological innovation has empowered institutions to monitor archives in a digital way. The purpose of this research is to create a website-based archive application using binary searching algorithms that can be used to record and store easily and safely, and be managering every archive for essier access. The system development methodology uses the waterfall method and the PHP and MySQL programming languages. This application can be used to record, store, display archives by category and can be used to display archives by category, preview archives, download archives and archive details in the Design Department of the Polytechnic Media Creative.

The Mail Archive Management Information System at the Lombok Tengah Education Office was created for the effectiveness and efficiency of storing or managing incoming mail archives and outgoing mail archives at the Education Office. Management of mails that still use the manual method, namely by storing mail archives on folders, makes frequent errors in storage such as: loss of mails, tearing of mails and so on, as well as errors in recording and the duration of data searching. This Mail Archive Management Information System was designed and built using the waterfall method and MVC (Model View Controller) as the programming method, this information system is web-based, created using the PHP framework, namely CodeIgniter, HTML, Javascript, and CSS. As for the server, it uses a default Codeigniter local server. The management of the mail archives generated by the system is able to speed up the data searching process and is able to monitoring the amount of incoming mail, outgoing mail and the number of users using the system.

The article is devoted to the analysis of archives that contain information about the development of the North Pacific during travels of the late 17th — first quarter of the 18th centuries, especially the First and Second Kamchatka expeditions. In this study, we consider the issue of the availability of documents in the domestic federal archives and libraries of Moscow and St. Petersburg archives: State Historical Archive (RGIA), the Russian State Archive of the Navy (RGA VMF), departments of manuscripts of the Russian National Library (OR RNL) and the Russian State Library (OR RSL). We have studied rarely used archives by researchers: State Archive of Archangelsk region (GAAO), Kostroma Region Archive (GAKO), Vologda Region Archive (GAVO), Irkutsk Region Archive (GAIO) and others. We also drew attention to the foreign archives of the USA and Spain. The article is written using an interdisciplinary approach and based on a wide range of sources.

The purpose of this research is so that the public, especially the college community, can know and implement the preparation of college regulations, especially on the Classification of Security and Access to Dynamic Archives, and implement them. The Dynamic Archive Security and Access Classification System at Sebelas Maret University is regulated based on archival legislation and college archival legislation based on rector regulations. Research methods. This research uses qualitative methods with a stud library approach. Data analysis. Data is analyzed by studying books, literature, records, and various reports related to research. Results and discussion. The archiving governance of Universitas Sebelas Maret refers to government policies and regulations as well as authorized agencies such as ANRI related to archiving. The archive collection consists of textual and non-textual archives. Archives are classified into ordinary, limited, confidential and highly classified information. The classification of archives is assisted by conventional storage facilities and digital storage facilities. Conclusions and suggestions. The classification of archival access is a category of restrictions on access to archives based on the authority to use archives related to the implementation of certain tasks and functions. The District Library and Archives Office of Tanah Laut Regency is a local government unit responsible for assisting the government in organizing library and archives affairs. In these activities, the archives are still in the form of hard copies, which can be lost or damaged in case of fire, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. Moreover, hardcopy archives are also subject to deterioration with age. To address these challenges, the author developed a Web-Based Regional Archive Management Information System at the District Library and Archives Office of Tanah Laut. The system was built using the incremental model and programmed in PHP (CodeIgniter Framework), HTML and CSS, while being designed using Entity Relationship Diagram and Unified Modeling Language. The system underwent black-box testing conducted by Batuah Teknologi Semesta, resulting in successful testing of the system's features and performance. The data used in the Web-Based Regional Archive Management Information System at the District Library and Archives Office of Tanah Laut consists of hardcopy archive data from each department within Tanah Laut. Therefore, the system was developed to provide various features that enable users to perform essential tasks. The main features of the system include the management of inactive, obsolete, and static archives.

In implementing school activities, archive management is a source of information in planning, organizing and evaluating which will be used as a guide in decision making. Archives management influences administrative activities in the administrative sector. With good archives management, it will be easier for the school to obtain the necessary archives through the administration sector. In managing archives, SMKN 2 Ponorogo has special administrative staff. Archives are neatly arranged with clearly written codes, which makes it easier for administrative members when they need archives when needed. The objectives of the research are: 1) to understand the stages of archive creation and management; 2) know the stages of use and maintenance of archives; 3) as well as knowing the stages of determining the final fate of archives in supporting administrative activities in the administrative sector at SMKN 2 Ponorogo. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection through in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis uses a data condensation model, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on data analysis, the following results were found: 1) The archive creation stage was carried out by internal and external parties. Meanwhile, archive management is directly carried out by the TU department; 2) All parties are allowed to use the archives at SMKN 2 Ponorogo but must be intermediary with TU staff. Meanwhile, archive maintenance is carried out using an archive storage system, namely soft file and hard file storage; 3) Stage of determining the final fate of the archive. If archives are still needed they will be saved, but for archives that are not needed they will be burned; 4) With archive management, the archives in the administration section are more organized and neatly stored so that at any time the archives are needed easily.

This paper aims to perform a qualitative synthesis of literature concerning the representation of information in displaced archives. Methodologically, this communication is configured in a metasynthesis oriented to theory building, constituting a non-reactive, documentary-based and exploratory type of study, focused on articles and books chapters published in English between 1954 and 2019. The collection of texts is supported by the SPICE strategy, applied to the search in databases (WoS and EBSCO). We adopted content analysis according to the assumptions of Charmaz and Finfgeld-Connett. Of the 443 records, 155 texts that responded to the research purposes were included. Three themes emerged from the content analysis around the aforementioned theme with a view to theory building: “anarchivism as (non-) representation”, “archive of the archive”, and “archival canon”. Finally, displaced archives constitute an emerging theme in several domains, so it is important to explore the complex nature of this phenomenon from the point of view of representation and knowledge organization.

The Staffing and Human Resources Development Agency of Surakarta City is one of the institutions responsible for managing and developing staffing and staffing information systems. One of the activities of BKPSDM is administrative management. BKPSDM has implemented the archive life cycle as well as possible in its management. This research uses data processing and information collected from interviews and literature studies without measuring instruments or using numbers. The subject of this research is an archivist informant who can explain the current conditions and information about the object of research. Interviews conducted by the author and the archivist of BKPSDM Surakarta City provide results that archive management at BKPSDM Surakarta City is structured in terms of archive life cycle flow but still not optimal in archive management. There were shortcomings in the management aspect of several archive lifelines. Especially in the maintenance and destruction flow. The workforce at BKPSDM Surakarta City does not yet have the awareness to manage archives in an organized and structured manner. In addition, the archive manager in each field has main tasks and functions that do not focus on archives alone, so the archive management of each field has not run optimally. From these problems, the management of dynamic archives in BKPSDM is still not running optimally because human resources, who are archive managers for each field, still do not have the awareness to manage archives properly.

Archiving activities are part of the dministrative activities in an organization, which are very important. Archival management is a major factor in supporting the course of administrative activities in an organization. However, in practice, there are still organizations that are lacking in managing archives, so it can also affect the service process to the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of electronic mail archiving applications in the form of APEL SISA in Kendel Village to realize the development of information and communication technology in achieving the Village SDGs. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The focus of this research refers to the theory of Muhidin and Winata (2016) that digital archive management activities include two things, namely archive storage and archive retrieval. The data collection techniques in this study were through interviews and observation. The results of this study indicate that by using APEL SISA, archive storage in Kendal Village, which was originally manual, becomes more effective and efficient in providing services to the community, and electronic retrieval of archives can facilitate archive management at the Kendal Village office. Based on this, the management of archives in Kendal Village needs to be done all electronically to make it easier to manage archives that are stored and find back archives when needed.

Records creator, archive creator and archive information user: mutual relations in view of the development of modern information and communication technologies The aim of this article is to examine the mutual relations between the records creator, the archive creator and the information user in light of contemporary developments in information and communication technologies. The study was carried out in form of desk-based research, analysis of the literature, analysis of legal regulations and reports of the Head Office of the State Archives for the years 2011–2020. The analyses have revealed a very dynamic progress of digitisation in archives, which has a direct impact on the relations between all participants of information processes in archives. The phenomenon of prosumption of archival knowledge, not yet described in archival science literature, was also pointed out. The article concludes that it is necessary to make wider use of the knowledge possessed by archivists and archive users in order to design new tools and methods for creating, developing and sharing archival resources in digital form.

Abstract:
The aim of this article is to examine the presence of Polish archives in Wikipedia and attempt to answer the question about the image of these institutions appearing in this space. Entries from state archives, separate archives, those with entrusted sources, university and church archives were analysed in terms of the number of characters in a given article, structure, complexity and content. Particular attention was paid to elements such as maps and illustrations. The authorship of individual entries was also examined. The presence of Polish archives in Wikipedia is insufficient. State archives are represented the most in this respect. All 33 facilities have their own entry on the portal. These articles are generally quite Archiwa polskie w Wikipedii - analiza zawartości haseł extensive. On the other hand, separate archives, apart from military archives, Border Guard Archive and Central Police Archive, are virtually absent from Wikipedia. The situation is even worse when it comes to archives with entrusted resources and university archives. Only three such archives are present in Wikipedia. As far as church archives are concerned, five entries for such institutions were recorded. Individual articles usually contain data on the history of individual institutions, their organisational structure, less often information on tasks and archival resources. The weakly emphasised mission of the archives is striking. Therefore, it should be concluded that these entries fulfil their function only to a certain extent as they generally do not provide information about the purpose of archives, their activities and resources.
