Full textSince the end of 1990s and facing up to numerous sanitary risks associated to food, schools became the favorite field of intervention to make children sensitive to so-called “proper”food. In France, diverse public authorities joined to develop and diffuse vast information and communication campaigns on a national scale. One purpose of these campaigns is educatingchildren in a set of standards, norms and values bound to what is seen today as healthy. This work is dedicated to understand what is at stake in this public communication as well as its progress through various authorities and various actors up to schools. It is built upon a semio pragmatic analysis of informative and pedagogical scheme produced between 2010 and 2015 by public authorities as well as observations and semi-directive interviews in schools. This work reveals two logics. On one hand, as messages about public health are translated into prescriptions, protocols and missions according to the various territorial and institutional scales, they demonstrate the will to instill normative models into children so that they learn to manage by themselves their conducts and those others. On the other hand, those prescriptions and devices are adapted, transformed and diverted from their first objective in every stage of their progress. At the origin of these transformations, the successive actors form a chain the last links of which are the children

Full textThis thesis examines the way in which public authorities communicate about the prevention of chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and hypertension. Faced with the mixed results of prevention campaigns on chronic diseases in Côte d'Ivoire, our research examines the issues that information and communication must address. It appears that economic, political and socio-cultural issues affect prevention communication. We question the concept of "governmentality" developed by Michel Foucault in general and more specifically the notions of biopolitics, the instrumentation of public action and resistances in power relations in the context of chronic disease prevention. Our analysis is based on a heterogeneous corpus consisting of twelve (12) semi-directive interviews with institutional and community actors in prevention, a survey of three hundred and sixty-nine (369) patients in the oncology unit of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Treichville and a content analysis of three (3) threads from an online discussion group on Facebook dedicated to traditional medicine. After the analysis, three major observations emerged. Preventive communication is subject to a pre-eminence of political logics. In fact, it constitutes an instrument of biopower that contributes to a certain extent to the deployment of the political strategy of those in power and thus helps to strengthen their legitimacy. However, the info-communication mechanisms of prevention have their shortcomings. These include their lack of connection with local realities, particularly with regard to certain socio-cultural factors, such as illiteracy, the positive relationship of Ivorian society with overweight and the use of traditional medicine by part of the population. Because of these shortcomings, the population develops forms of resistance to institutional prevention discourse through attitudes of denial, rejection and doubtful thinking

Full textThis research conducted within the national gas distributor in France GRDF combines sociotechnical and Collective Intelligence in order to question the company’s ability to be self-constructed by its employees trought the concept of organizational experience. These corporate’s transformations respond to trends in the energy sector (ecological transition) and to the employees’ expectations. The organization tends towards a so call meta-organization.After presenting the hybridity of the studied organization, its inscription in the "Information Society", the emphasis is placed on Information and Communication Sciences’ objects: knowledge, sociotechnical devices and Collective Intelligence. Resulting of a participant observation, two cases studies from GRDF are presented and studied throughout this research: the co-construction of a sociotechnical system (project Tuilage) and the emergence of a Collective Intelligence, Hack@demy, inside the information system of the company. Complementary, these two projects use an info-communicational approach to highlight the evolution of the company

Full textThis research work aims at understanding the challenges of the implementation of digital tools and cooperative work in primary school’s through the establishment and analysis of an information-communication device where the mediation of knowledge through the digital technology occupies a primordial place. Based on elements from the theoretical framework on the concept of information, knowledge, knowledge and device, we analyze among the establishment of an information-communication device the interactions between knowledge, information and knowledge by mobilizing the concept of mediation. The communication exchanges and informational processes that take place in the device aim at observing the way in which subjects build knowledge from the scientific knowledge put at their disposal and manipulated in the form of circulating digital information. The Google Classroom platform that allows for communicative communication, access to information and information sharing regardless of when or where to access. The construction of knowledge in the device is done through cooperative work as a methodology of work which relies on the bases of constructive and socio-constructivist paradigms and the model of learning connectivism, since we introduce the ICST as mediating element between subjects, the teacher and the learning object. Given the nature of this research we have chosen a methodology that is part of the paradigm of interpretativism, which supports the idea that in the social sciences there is no separation between the observer and the observed object, and the knowledge can only take place through a process of understanding. Through this experience we seek to analyse the uses that actors make of digital tools and how they appropriate information circulating in the devices put in place to build knowledge
