Abstract:
In light of rapid changes in technology known as Industry 4.0 (IN4.0), this study aims to examine how Indonesian employees perceive the HRM function is being implemented in their organizations using the Ulrich Multiple Roles of HR model, and whether they believe the HR roles are effective to address the challenges of IN4.0. Cross-industry data was collected from 160 respondents representing five priority industries: food and beverages, automotive, electronics, textiles, and chemicals. Through descriptive and factor analysis, results show that the HR function in Indonesia is still widely administrative in nature, and being an agent of change is the least performed HR role. In addition, the results indicated that the HR roles in Indonesia are changing towards a more strategic direction even though the change is slow. HR practitioners must heed the expectations of employees to ensure there are interventions that can be implemented to prepare human capital for IN4.0. This is the first type of research that examined how Indonesian employees perceive the HR roles in Indonesian industries are being performed, adding to the scant literature on HR roles in an Indonesian context, and addressing the need for relevant studies on the impact of IN4.0 and HR roles.

Abstract:
The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) in electronics, computer, robotics, and internet technology is inevitable and has rapidly accelerated more than before as the IoT paradigm is a promising solution in terms of solving real world problems, especially for digitizing and monitoring in real time. Various IoT schemes have successfully been applied to some areas such as smart health and smart agriculture. Since the agriculture areas are getting narrow, the development of IoT in agriculture should be prioritized to enhance crop production. This paper proposes the IoT scheme for long range communication based on Long Range (LoRa) modules applied to smart agriculture. The scheme utilizes the low power modules and long-distance communication for monitoring temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and pH soil. Our IoT design has successfully been applied to agriculture areas which have unstable network connections. The design is analyzed to obtain the maximum coverage using different spreading factors and bandwidths. We show that as the spreading factor increases to 12, the maximum coverage can be transmitted to 1000 m. However, the large coverage also comes with the disadvantages of the increased delays.

Abstract:
In the last decade, Indonesian Millennial Muslims have a tendency to choose Islamism as their life trend, so as it becomes a problem in the life of a plural Indonesian people. By using the ushul fiqh approach, data collection techniques using library research and content analysis techniques, this study shows that first, the genealogy of the paradigm of Islamism that develops in Indonesia does not always have a negative connotation that means radicalism, but the paradigm of Islamism among Millennial Muslims in Indonesia has turned out to be a medium for packaging and spreading the paradigm of popular Islamism. Therefore, there is a correlation between the jargon carriers of Islamism and its products. Second, the birth of the paradigm of Islamism among millennial Muslims occurred because of the existence of culture, learning ethos and social media and electronics that have encouraged the birth of the paradigm of Islamism, so that it has brought a new trend that supports an increasingly massive and popular Islamic life with innovative and creative packaging.Third, the implications of the paradigm of Islamism among Millennial Muslims have had positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is that Islamism encourages millennial Muslim generations to learn, understand and practice the teachings of Islam in a comprehensive manner as well as popular Islamic understanding which is in accordance with maqashid al-shari'ah, while the negative impact is that the encouragement of learning, understanding and practicing religious teachings Islam in a comprehension that is exposed to the understanding of radicalism-intolerant can actually lead to intolerant attitudes and behaviour, even radicalism that is contrary to the Maqashid al-Shari'ah

Abstract:
The Indonesian e-Government index for 2020 is internationally ranked 88, up 19 points from the previous ranking of 107 in 2018. This increase results from e-Government implementing agencies and an increase in public participation and contributions from research institutions. It always contributes to e-Government issues theoretically and practically. The results of studies related to the implementation of e-Government are also needed to answer the current problems and become a reference of e-Government development following Indonesian conditions. This study explores the studies that have been carried out during the last five years using the perspective of Indonesia's e-Government Ranking (PeGI), namely the dimensions of policy, institutional, application, infrastructure, and planning. The study used a literature review method with data sources obtained on the Garuda Ristek portal BRIN-Indonesian Publication Index. The number of articles collected was 45 articles which were then grouped based on the PeGI dimension, research methods, and types of e-Government relations. The results show that the perspective of the dimensions of the Indonesian e-Government Ranking can be a reference to see a picture of the conditions of e-Government implementation and the influencing factors. Furthermore, studies related to e-government issues can provide input information and recommendations for solutions to e-Government administrators. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the number of studies on e-Government in Indonesia supported by the government and related institutions to improve the quality of Indonesian e-Government.

This study aims to identify and analyze: how international trade relations are between Indonesia and the United States, especially in the export-import of goods, particularly non-oil exports; how the value is obtained from the export-import of goods between Indonesia-United States, whether Indonesian exports to the United States greater than Indonesian import from the United States; who gets the surplus of trade between the two countries; and how big the export-import growth rate is, whether Indonesia tends to become exporter or importer. Data used in this study were a time series of the year 2008-2012. The analytical method used was the growth formula and Trade Specialization Index. Based on the trade balance, the value of Indonesian exports, both oil and non-oil, the United States has a surplus and vice versa. In other words, the United States includes a country of Indonesia's main export, in addition to Japan and China. Value of Trade Specialization Index for both oil and non-oil exports is positive above 0 to 1, then the oil and non-oil commodities have strong competitiveness. Indonesia is likely as a means exporter of the commodity. However, based on 10 major Indonesian export commodities to the United States, as the largest foreign exchange earner for textile examples and textile products, footwear industries, electronic products, furniture, as well as horticultural commodities, is threatened lethargic, because shutdown policy decisions on the government services were feared to reduce consumption of the American people’s imported products.

Abstract:
<strong>English</strong><br />The fast growing research in the field of nanotechnology in the last decade is a challenge as well as an opportunity for Indonesia to participate in the world market. This paper aimed to assess the prospects of nanotechnology application in Indonesia, especially in agriculture and food processing. The study was conducted through a literature review. Nanotechnology has a promising prospect to be applied in Indonesia. However, the research, development, and application of nanotechnology in Indonesia grow slowly and are more focused on areas other than agriculture and food processing, such as electronics, energy, medicine, pharmacy, etc. Barriers to the development of nanotechnology in Indonesia among others are (1) inadequate nanotechnology facilities and dispersed sporadically in a number of institutions, (2) lack of synergism among research institutions working on nanotechnology, (3) less supporting human resources, and (4) limited budget. A number of studies reveal that nanotechnology application in agriculture and food processing in Indonesia includes fertilizers, antioxidants, preservatives, fortification, functional foods, nutraceuticals, smart packaging, etc. In order to support nanotechnology application in national agro-industry, some policies to implement are (a) developing nanotechnology research network at national level, (b) socialization of nanotechnology and its potential utilization in agriculture, (c) strengthening human resource capacity in nanotechnology, (d) developing nanotechnology research synergy, (e) developing the governance of nanotechnology research at IAARD, (f) setting research priorities of nanotechnology, and (g) developing collaboration with private parties.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Indonesian</strong><br />Penelitian di bidang teknologi nano yang berkembang pesat dalam dekade terakhir merupakan tantangan dan peluang bagi Indonesia untuk ikut berperan dalam pasar dunia.

AEC is expected to promote electronic transactions. Even though Indonesia has the Law Number 8 Year 1999 on Consumer Protection, this law does not regulate specifically on electronic transactions. In response to this limitation, Indonesia has issued the Law Number 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions and Government Regulation Number 82 Year 2012 on the Implementation of Systems and Electronic Transactions. This is followed by enactment of Law Number 7 Years 2014 on Trade, which regulates general domestic trade, foreign trade, border trade and commerce through the electronic system. The law aims to stem the flood of products imported into Indonesia so that the use of domestic products can be increased. This paper concludes that legislations which regulate consumer protection in electronic transactions are still inadequate thus Indonesia is not fully ready to deal with the consumer protection in e-commerce. Abstract:
Looking at the relations between Malaysia-Indonesia, it could be seen that society has the power to direct the bilateral relations between two countries. In comparison, Indonesian society is more responsive than Malaysian society in responding to particular issues related to both countries. The most active group is generally from the younger generation known as Generation Y (Gen Y) where their reactions tend to be provocative. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the knowledge and perceptions of Gen Y and Gen X at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) on the Malaysia-Indonesia bilateral relationship and the factors that influence their knowledge and perception. This paper uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of the study showed that respondents accepted Indonesia as an important neighbor because of the current state's interests. The cultural and social aspects, particularly audio-visual products such as Indonesian soap operas and Indonesian pop songs have the most significant influence in influencing the respondents' level of knowledge about Indonesia. In addition, they also get a lot of information about Indonesia through electronic media. An important finding from this study is that all respondents acknowledge that Indonesia is still relevant as Malaysia's closest neighbor based on the similarity factor and those good relations between the two countries need to be maintained.

Abstract:
As many other countries in the world, Indonesia has serious problems with child pornography. The problems linked with the child pornography exist in Indonesia, involving both male and female children. In 2008, Law Number 44/2008 on Pornography was enacted. With regard to the widespread distribution and accessibility of child pornography through the Internet, Indonesia also has Law Number 11/2008 and its revision on Electronic Information and Transaction. At the international level, Indonesia has ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Furthermore, in 2012, Indonesia ratified the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography (OPSC). However, based on data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia/KPAI) from 2011 to 2016 there were 1709 cases of child pornography and cybercrime. The cases of child pornography are still increasing and seems impossible to stop. This paper will scrutinize how the existing Indonesian law concerning prohibition of child pornography protects the children. It will also examine whether the law are in compliance with the OPSC. This paper is a doctrinal research using statute, conceptual and comparative approaches. The existing Indonesian law will be compared with the OPSC. The study will show some of the compatibility issues of Indonesian respective national law with the OPSC. On the basis of the findings, the last part of the study will provide recommendations on how Indonesia shall enhance the fight against child pornography.

Abstract:
Pop-up advertisements have become prevalent on websites. When users click on the banner, they navigate a separate window; banner and pop-up advertisements contain attractive audio-visual and animated graphics. This intrusive advertising has not explicitly regulated Indonesia's current legislation, including Electronic Transaction and Information Law 11/2008 (ITE Law). Also, it is exempted in the Indonesian Pariwara Ethics, guidelines for advertising ethics and procedure in Indonesia. This study aimed to revisit consumers’ protection toward pop-up advertisements in Indonesia, with two main discussions. First, it discussed online consumers' perceptions of pop-up advertisements and the classification of their responses. Second, it enquired to what extent the legal and ethics protection for online consumers in Indonesia. By using empirical legal research, this study concluded that the ITE Law prohibits anyone from spreading online information with content that violates immorality and gambling, as it often contains in pop-up advertisements. Through the lens of business ethics, pop-up advertisements are new media and they should not be installed in such a way as to interfere with the freedom of internet users, given that pop-up advertisements do not reflect the ethics of honesty, trust, and advice in business. Being the ongoing fad for enterprises to manage business, mobile shopping offers superior dominance over electronic shopping and traditional shopping. This paper aims to elaborate both the motive of mobile shopping response according to the theory of reasoned action (TRA) point of view and the promotion barriers in mobile business. A selfconducted survey data of 325 Indonesian consumers is led to build and apply a structural equation modeling approach with inherent constructs. Through the result of this study, the predictive power of TRA has been proven in scouting consumer response in the context of mobile shopping. In addition, the intention to adopt mobile shopping is strongly impacted by both promotion and barrier variables. Some benefits could emerge for future studies from investigating other variables (e.g. trust and risk specific aspects) and using ongoing response (e.g. online purchase). Both promotion and barrier factors should be kept under surveillance by business managers for better understanding about why and how Indonesians adopt mobile shopping. The founding study attune the TRA model with augmented promotion and barrier variables to describe mobile shopping in the context of Indonesia.

The purpose of this study aims to explain the effect of electronic money on inflation and how much influence it has on the Indonesian economy. In this study the authors used a quantitative approach. The variables used are inflation, electronic money, exchange rate, money supply (M1), and BI interest rate. Result: The previous money supply (LQMprev) and the interest rate (BI Rate) were the main factors affecting inflation. In this result, e-money and exchange rates are not the main components driving inflation. Based on SPPS processing using regression, e-money and exchange rates do not have a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia, but LQMprev has a significant effect on inflation. From the results of this study it is still too early to analyze the effect of e-money on inflation because it is still relatively new in Indonesia.

Abstract:
This paper is motivated by the spirit of judicial reform in Indonesia in the reformation era. The right to access information on judicial institutions is an integral part of the constitutional rights that guaranteed by the Indonesian Constitution and must be fulfilled. The question proposed in this paper is how far the court decisions publication and judicial reform based on electronic courts implicated to increase public trust to judicial institutions in Indonesia? On the one hand, public information disclosure is a demand for democracy, transparency, and accountability of judicial institutions to gain the public trust. On the other hand, the level of public trust to the judicial institution is still low. The research objective is to provide a general description the judicial information system services based on electronic court through the Supreme Court Decisions Directory and its implication to increase the public trust to the judicial institutions in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the public can now easily access all court information ranging from case administration service procedures to issuing court decisions, which also has implications to increase the public trust to the judicial institutions itself. The evidence can be seen in the decision-making filing program in the last ten years, in which the Indonesian Supreme Court has also succeeded in publishing 4,661,021 court decisions, consisting of 4,403,428 at first-level court decisions, 123,995 at appellate court decisions, 100,863 at verdict decisions, and 32,735 at reconsi¬deration decisions.

Abstract:
The article describes a new method/idea about taxing the income towards the digital in Indonesia during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Since social and physical distancing has fertilized the trend to conduct trading activities through the electronic system and provide a level playing field, then the policies for direct tax (income tax) in the trading activities utilizing electronic systems were issued in Law Number 2 of 2020. To obtain data and information in this study, the authors used qualitative research methods. Considering that direct tax has been regulated in Indonesian legislation, this study uses a normative juridical approach without neglecting empirical facts in developing the digital economy. The application of this regulation is assessed based on the Tax Law in Indonesia by focusing on several aspects such as legal certainty and tax jurisdiction. Based on the tax philosophy in Indonesia, Law Number 2 of 2020 is considered as lacking in providing legal certainty and policies regarding the income tax for the trading activities utilizing the electronic system. It is considered a unilateral measure. This study on income tax is relatively new in facing the rapid development of the digital economy, especially regarding a permanent physical establishment that is considered irrelevant.

Abstract:
Abstract:
Increasingly advanced technology encourages people to make transactions using electronic money (e-money). Nowadays, more Indonesian people use electronic money in their dealings, which is proven by the increasing volume of electronic money transactions from year to year. Electronic cash is chosed because it is more practical in making transactions with traders. The rising use of electronic money can affect the money supply, which can affect the inflation rate. Several studies have stated the effect of electronic money on inflation. This study aims to determine the impact of the variable volume and nominal value of electronic money transactions (e-money) on the inflation rate in Indonesia from January 2016 to December 2020. The data used in this study are secondary data with the type of monthly time series taken from Bank Indonesia, Kementerian Perdagangan, and BPS (Badan Pusat Statistik). The analysis technique used is the ECM (Error Correction Model). The Error Correction Model in this study aims to identify long-term and short-term relationships that occur because of the cointegration between research variables and the relationship between variables that are not stationary. This study indicates that in the long term, the variables volume of e-money transactions and money supply (M2) have a significant effect on the inflation variable. In contrast, other macroeconomic variables (BI rate and nominal value of e-money transactions) has no significant impact. Meanwhile, the short-term regression model shows no variables that have a substantial effect on the inflation variable.

Abstract:
The existence of electronic information and / or electronic documents has been recognized as valid evidence which is an extension of the evidence in the Procedure Law that applies in Indonesia provided that the electronic information and / or electronic documents use electronic systems in accordance with the provisions stipulated in Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. However, despite the ITE Law as well as several other regulations, it cannot be said that the Indonesian Procedural Law has stipulated electronic evidence in evidence, because the regulation of electronic evidence is in the realm of material law. Proof using electronic evidence at the trial has debates such as the examination of witnesses using the teleconference in the case of BULOG and marriage /consent qobul conducted different countries. Besides there are several other obstacles such as 1. Authentication of electronic evidence 2. Procedures for showing the instrument electronic evidence and 3. Electronic signatures. Responding to these constraints, the renewal of the procedural law must be carried out immediately by including the electronic evidence and changing the evidence system from a closed proof system to an open proof system, in order to accommodate the development of evidence, especially electronic evidence.

Abstract:
Conventional contracts are believed to be valid and legally binding due to clear arrangements and are more often used in business agreements in Indonesia. Electronic contracts are a new form of contract and need to be studied further to provide education for the wider community in Indonesia regarding its validity. The method used in writing this journal is a normative juridical legal research method to solve the problem of the form of electronic contracts and its validity is assessed from the Burgerlijk WetBoek, the Information and Electronic Transactions of Law and United Nation Commission Internasional Trade Law. The results of the discussion found that electronic contracts are contracts or agreements made by the parties through the electronic system. Indonesian legislative and even international regulations never determine the form of contract and contract format in absolute terms. The parties are free to determine the type of contract that is agreed upon but still follows the terms of the contract that are primarily and have been regulated by law, namely the agreement of the contracting parties. Electronic contracts are valid and legally binding.
