The political arena influences the selection of an alternative policy for Samisake Revolving Fund program. In this phase, various interests affect the policy outcome, including conflict and bargaining positions among policymakers. Therefore, this study aimed to examine public participation in policy formulation for the Samisake Revolving Fund program in Bengkulu City, Indonesia. A qualitative method was used with a case study approach to the policy design, as well as typical conditions and variables. Data were collected by interviewing seven informants of five stakeholder elements and analyzed using flowing analysis. The results indicated high community involvement in the public policy formulation process that entails pushing issues into the policy agenda. The best policy alternative should satisfy all interested parties. Additionally, the policy was established by issuing the Regional Regulation draft on allocating the funding. This Regional Regulation should be accepted and implemented by all parties transparently with accountability to increase community participation and empowerment. The policy process displays a complex interaction among the policymakers. These policymakers include the executives of the Bengkulu City government from the Regional Technical Unit, community leaders and organizations, NGOs, and university academics. The interaction influences choices and policy decisions by creating conflict and tension in discussing the draft of Samisake Fund Regional Regulation. Therefore, future studies could examine stakeholder network participation in policy formulation and strengthening inter-institutional capacity to avoid conflict.

Background: Traditional food is the most potent food to develop and is an essential component in intervention strategy for increasing toddler daily consumption. Traditional food contributes to micro-nutrition and protein, which are needed for toddler growth. Objectives: This research aimed to identify traditional food and toddlers' traditional food consumption in coastal families in three ethnicity in Bengkulu. Methods: This research used a cross-sectional design. Samples were mothers as food givers in the family, and the analysis unit was the toddler, in a total of 115, picked randomly from 137 households with 12-59 months old toddlers. Data was collected using quantitative and qualitative techniques, in-depth interviews, and food recall forms. Traditional food identification comes from FFQ (Food Frequency Questionnaire). Consumption of toddler fisherman family data that had been collected and compared with RDA 2019. Analyses were done by formulating the results from the in-depth interview and uni variate analysis. Results: Traditional food contribution to fisherman's toddler contained 19.34% energy, 40.86% protein, 17.65% fat, 17.65% carbohydrate, 16,3% PUFA fat acid, and 13.8% MUFA. Many different traditional foods often consumed by Melayu, Serawai, and Minang ethics in coastal families could be classified as fish, vegetables, and snacks. Conclusions: Traditional food contribution could fulfill nutritional needs of energy and macro-nutrients ranging from 17-41%. We must increase traditional food consumption in coastal families by varying processing so that each ethnicity's distinctive taste in traditional food can be maintained.

Bengkulu Province annual waste accumulation reaches 38,417.16 tons/year, and the volume of waste in Bengkulu City is increasing every day. The total waste entering the Landfills is 648.85 M3, and the condition of the TPA which has been operating for 32 years is expected to decline over the next year. Careless waste disposal will cause water to clog, which further leads to flood. Based on the 2020 Indonesian Disaster Risk Index, Bengkulu province is at the second highest risk for flood after West Sulawesi. This condition will even get worse if the water flow is blocked by waste. Simple action can turn waste into useful objects through waste donation. This study aims to implement waste donation program as an alternative innovation in managing household waste. This was a community-based study with a cross-sectional research design carried out in June and July 2023. The population involved family households in Bengkulu City in 2021. The study samples were selected using a simple random sampling technique which found 542 households. This study has obtained a certificate of ethical approval from the Bengkulu Health Polytechnic Number No. KEPK.BKL/416/06/2023 dated June 30, 2023. Data were analyzed through univariate analysis and analysis of interview results. Most households in Bengkulu City were aged 29-58 years, married, had less than a high school education, unemployed, and had poor levels of knowledge, attitude, and behavior regarding household waste management. There is a need for commitment from the Environmental Service, District, Village, Head of Neighborhood Units (RT), LPM and Community Figures regarding the implementation of the Waste donation Program. The support of the smallest community unit, namely the Chairman of the Neighborhood Unit, is the key to the success of household waste management among households, especially in sorting organic and inorganic waste. Such practice will help make the waste donation program a success. Waste donation can be an alternative for households in worship and also help reduce the accumulation of waste in Landfills. It is recommended cooperation between the Village Community Empowerment Institution and the Waste Bank in providing routine assistance to the Waste donation Program.

Abstract Limited land available in big capital cities makes building development change from horizontal into vertical one. High demand for living space along with high-density population causes carbon emissions from electricity used for lighting and cooling increasing as well. This research is trying to invent vertical housing design concept that responsive into environment, especially Bengkulu City, as the solution and alternative for living space that low in energy used. Organic analogy was used as a method to conduct natural principles of Australian Pinecone into apartment design. Pinecone physical appearance and the structure of Pinecone transversal section were interpreted as an apartment plan configuration and exterior design of the building. First, the transversal section of Pinecone structure that consists of seed, wing, and axis, were interpret as an apartment plan configuration, which is the balcony area, apartment unit, and corridor. Next, the spike shape of Pinecone scale inspires angular shape on the outer side area of apartment floor plan and the façade as well. There are three alternatives from design process iteration that later being analyzed using Sefaira simulation to find energy use in the building. Result showed that apartment building design that use a lot of Pinecones principle analogy has lower energy consumption, which is 63 KWh/year/m2. This number is still under the average energy use intensity for apartment building in Indonesia. Nevertheless, there are still some limitations and minus point on the final design that can be further research in the future.

The study was conducted with the formulation of the problem in the study are: How the influence of organizational learning, market orientation and product innovation on marketing performance at BRI Bank Bengkulu Branch Based on the results of research and analysis of the effect of variables on Marketing Performance (Y) at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Bengkulu Branch can be drawn conclusions as follows: From the multiple linear regression equation can be known: Y = 0.271 + 0.332 X1 + 0.458 X2 + 0.176 X3. And that Organizational Learning (X1), Market Orientation (X2), and Product Innovation (X3) have a positive effect on Marketing Performance (Y) at the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Bengkulu Branch. Between Organizational Learning (X1), Market Orientation (X2), and Product Innovation (X3) in improving Marketing Performance have a close and positive relationship. This is evidenced from the correlation analysis R = 0.829 (82.9%) and almost close to 1. And the coefficient of determination of R2 = 0.687 or about 68.7% while 31.3% is the contribution of other variables not examined. Of all the most dominant variables is the variable that most influences on Marketing Performance (Y), at the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Bengkulu Branch, the Organizational Learning variable (X1) partially influences by 0.007 out of 30 respondents turned out to have a very significant effect because the Leaders and Unit leaders want a change in the work system and in accordance with the wishes of respondents in choosing the leadership and unit leaders they want so as to improve Marketing Performance (Y), at the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Bengkulu Branch. Abstract: Motorbikes are vehicles owned by almost everyone, especially in Indonesia. But the number of motorbikes is not matched by the presence of a workshop, especially a tire repair shop. When a motorbike rider experiences a flat tire he must push the motorbike for long distance. This research is designed to help motorbike rider who experience a flat tire, so they no longer need to push a motorcycle. The tool design work system to be made is to use an Arduino nano controller because of its small and affordable size. 2pcs 1 watt solar panel which functions to charge the 22.2VDC battery which is used to run the tool designed. The MPX5700AP pressure sensor is a sensor for reading motorcycle tire pressure which will be displayed on the LCD that has been set on the nano Arduino. Then the user only needs to enter motorcycle tire pressure with the KPA unit with the provided keypad, and the pump will automatically fill the tires according to the user’s wishes. This tool is designed with a descriptive research method, and with this tool is expected to help motorbike rider who often driver long distances or rural motorbike rider who experience flat tire problems. Sehingga ketika pengendara sepeda motor mengalami kempes ban harus mendorong sepeda motornya dalam jarak yang cukup jauh. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk membantu pengendara sepeda motor yang mengalami ban kempes, sehingga tidak perlu lagi untuk mendorong sepeda motor. Sistem kerja dari rancangan alat yang akan dibuat adalah menggunakan kontroler arduino nano karena berukuran kecil dan harga terjangkau. 2 Panel surya 1watt yang berfungsi untuk mengisi daya baterai 22.2VDC yang digunakan untuk menjalankan alat yang dirancang. Sensor tekanan MPX5700AP sebagai sensor untuk membaca tekanan angin ban sepeda motor yang akan ditampilkan ke LCD yang sudah di setting pada ardunio nano. Lalu pengguna hanya perlu memasukkan tekanan angin ban sepeda motor dengan satuan KPA dengan keypad yang sudah disediakan, dan pompa akan secara otomatis mengisi angin ban sesuai dengan keinginan dari pengguna. Alat ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengendara sepeda motor yang sering berkendara jarak jauh ataupun pengendara sepeda motor di pedalaman desa yang mengalami kendala ban kempes. Indonesia is one of the countries that have contributed to the apparel, leather, and textile industry in the international market. Not only that, but Indonesian MSME handicrafts are also one of the commodities that can increase the country's foreign exchange, one of which is the lantung bark craft from Bengkulu. However, the creative industry is constantly facing competition with the entry of cheap products from China that get easy access with the increasing e-commerce technology. Providing value for the Lantung Bengkulu MSME products to compete locally and globally, one of the steps is to apply the Design Thinking Method and take the distinctive character of the stylized Serawai Tribe Weaving in the exploration process. The results of this study have obtained data that 47 Bengkulu women consumers as much as 89.4% like the results of the re-design and exploration of lantung shoes that have been designed. In determining the selling price of MSME Lantung Bengkulu should also set a price range of Rp. 110.000 to Rp. 500.000 because it corresponds to the purchasing power of female consumers in Bengkulu. The results of this study directly contribute to providing product value to the typical Bengkulu Lantung MSMEs. The Design Thinking method has been successfully increasing the value of the Lantung Bengkulu MSME products, this method can be applied to similar research to develop local MSMEs in Indonesia.

Smart governance is an indicator of the smart city program to improve good governance, so there needs to be a collaboration between local government organizations, private parties, and community groups. The collaboration between stakeholders is not optimal for implementing smart Governance in Bengkulu City. The research objective is to analyze collaborative governance on smart governance implementation. The research method uses qualitative methods using six informants, data collection techniques by observation, interviews, documentation, and data analysis using triangulation. The study results indicate that collaborative governance in implementing smart Governance in Bengkulu City is quite optimal, as seen from the indicators of initial conditions, institutional design, and collaborative processes that are intertwined with the success of the smart governance program. In conclusion, collaborative governance in smart governance implementation is not optimal because there are still some collaborative governance problems. This research implies that input in the implementation of smart Governance and Collaborative Governance has an important role in the success of the implementation of smart governance.

Rice is one of the strategic foods in Indonesia. According to Alimoeso (2011), approximately 95% of the Indonesian people depend on rice, poor families allocate nearly 21.8% of its expenditure on rice. In addition, of rice consumption estimates is the highest Indonesian in Southeast Asia, namely, 139 kg / capita / year, of which about 120 kg consumed directly. That is why price policy is important instrument for improving the wealth of rice farmers as well as rice traders. The purpose of the study was to analyze the price behavior, (2) analyze market integration (3) to analyze market causality, and (4) determine the rice leader market in Bengkulu Province. This study used a method of analysis of price behavior, market integration, unit root test, co-integration test and analysis methods of Engle and Granger causality. The results rice price behavior in Bengkulu do not fluctuate indicating by lower value of show that coefficient variable. There is strong integration market in price formation between Bengkulu, Rejang Lebong, North Bengkulu and South Bengkulu markets. The causality test proved that the prices of the price of North Bengkulu affect the price rice Bengkulu City, Rejang Lebong and South Bengkulu, and none of the three areas that affect the price of rice in North Bengkulu, and the leader market is North Bengkulu.Keywords: price behaviour, horizontal market integration, rice, market leader

Program KUR Mikro yang ditawarkan oleh lembaga keuangan menjadi salah satu penunjang terhadap perkembangan UMKM. Sebesar 9,67 triliun rupiah telah disalurkan kepada empat juta debitur UMKM pada tahun 2018. Besarnya potensi UMKM dalam perekonomian nasional menyebabkan pemerintah sangat memperhatikan perkembangan jumlah maupun skala usaha. Sebanyak 99,99% dari jumlah pelaku usaha Indonesia merupakan UMKM. Provinsi Bengkulu merupakan salah satu provinsi yang memiliki perkembangan UMKM yang cukup tinggi, sebanyak 46 ribu UMKM aktif dan telah mengenal program KUR MIKRO pada tahun 2020. Sebanyak 1,3 triliun rupiah telah disalurkan kepada UMKM Provinsi Bengkulu melalui salah satu lembaga keuangan milik Negara yakni Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). Sehingga penting untuk melihat apakah program KUR Mikro oleh BRI telah efektif dalam menyalurkan dana KUR. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini sampel berjumlah 17 orang nasabah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kelayakan pemberian KUR Mikro dilakukan dengan menggunakan faktor 5C dan faktor 3R. Kemudian mekanisme pemberian Kredit dimulai pada saat calon nasabah melengkapi berkas persyaratan sampai kepada tahapan pencarian oleh Customer Services. Perkembangan jumlah penerimaan KUR Mikro selama tahun 2020 mengalami fluktuasi serta efektivitas program KUR Mikro adalah Cukup Efektif. Cukup efektifnya pemberian program Kredit Mikro kepada nasabah BRI Unit Bangkahulu disebabkan karena masih terdapat beberapa kelemahan atau kekurangan dari ketiga variabel yang menjadi tolak ukur efektivitas KUR. Kelemahan atau kekurangan tersebut antara lain kurangnya sosialisasi serta pemantauan dari petugas.

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of schizophrenia in patients in the Inpatient Room of Soeprapto Special Base Hospital of Bengkulu Province.The method used is descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. Data were collected using primary and secondary data, primary data obtained from the questionnaires to the 67 families of patients treated in inpatient Special Hospital Mental Soeprapto Bengkulu province, while secondary data is taken from the patient's medical record. The sampling technique is by proportional random sampling technique. The analysis showed the majority of respondents, 39 who suffered from schizophrenia, the majority of respondents, 15 contained genetic factors, the majority of respondents, 24 Which there are psychosocial factors, and some of the respondents are 24 people that there are environmental factors. The results of the bivariate analysis showed no significant relationship between genetic schizophrenia in patients in the inpatient unit Special Hospital Mental Soeprapto Bengkulu province, there is a significant relationship between psychosocial with schizophrenia in patients in the inpatient unit Special Hospital Mental Soeprapto Bengkulu province, and there are A significant relationship between the environment and schizophrenia in patients in the inpatient rooms of Soeprapto Special Base Hospital of Bengkulu Province. Indonesia is known as a country that has many tribes, cultures, races, religions, and codes of conduct of the people. But the exciting thing is that the complexity of diversity does not divide Indonesia. Rama Agung Village, Bengkulu Utara Regency, was designated as a Religious Harmony Village in Bengkulu Province in 2018 by the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Upon launching the minister of religion, the Governor of Bengkulu designated it as a Miniature Village of Religious Harmony in Bengkulu Province. This is in line with the decision of the Regent of Bengkulu Utara in 2021, which established Rama Agung Village as a Religious Tourism Village. In this position, religious and cultural tolerance becomes important as the main indicator that can reduce points of conflict between individuals, social classes, and society. This tolerance was formed not on the basis of an accident. Still, the similarity of struggle that gave birth to valuable lessons bound in the points and points of Pancasila elaborated in the State Constitution and actualized in everyday life. This research design uses qualitative methods with a single instrumental case study approach. Data collection will be collected through interviews and document review. The results showed that the harmonization that occurs in Rama Agung village is currently maintained because of the value of harmony instilled by the community in interreligious life, namely open communication between fellow believers, mutual respect for other religious celebrations, and the rules of other religions.

This study aimed at developing a syllabus design of the CLIL based Indonesian Language subject in Elementary School Level in Bengkulu City. This study used Gall and Borg's Research and Development method which has ten steps: needs identification, designing the syllabus for CLIL based Indonesian Language subject of Elementary School Level, expert review, product revision, small group field testing, product revision, large group field testing, product revision, implementation, and the final product. Data was gathered using documentation study, questionnaire, and interview. The expert review, field testing and implementation showed that the syllabus design was proper to be used by elementary schoolteachers to create lesson plan. The teachers' perception toward the syllabus design were: the syllabus design was helpjitl to create the RPF, it mapped spiritual attitude and social attitude for certain education level, it helped teachers to plan the learning focus on the learning content, skill, and language aspect, and the teacher understood the term cognition easier.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model silabus mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SD berbasis CLIL di Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dari Gall, Gall & Borg dengan sepuluh langkah penelitian: identifikasi kebutuhan, merancang model silabus BI SD berbasis CLIL, telaah pakar, revisi produk, uji coba kelompok kecil, revisi produk, uji coba kelompok besar, revisi produk, implementasi, dan produk akhir. The primary data utilized this study were obtained by handing out questionnaires to Bank Rakyat Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk clients at the Bengkulu City Branch Office. Test multiple linear regression analysis from the constant value coefficients table 36.448 it can be explained a positive correlation between Effectiveness (X1) and the coefficient, indicating Effectiveness on Financial Inclusion. The effectiveness variable is 0.811, meaning that if the other independent variables are constant, then there is an increase of 1 unit, so financial inclusion will increase by 0.811, the coefficient is positive. Test multiple linear regression analysis from the coefficients table with a constant value of 36.448, may be said that a positive coefficient indicates positive association between efficiency and financial inclusion the efficiency (X2) to financial inclusion has change value zero. The efficiency variable's value for regression coefficient 0.542, meaning that if the other independent variables remain the same, Financial Inclusion will increase by 1 unit, so Financial Inclusion will increase. The findings of the analysis's multiple correlation coefficient test X1, X2 affect Financial Inclusion (Y) of 0.936, which means that it has a very strong correlation coefficient relationship because value is in range between 0.80-1,000.

Abstract Mount Kaba is one of the active volcanoes located in the eastern part of Bengkulu Province. This research was conducted in Gunung Kaba Complex because the distribution location of the last eruption product is close to some monogenetic volcano and residential area. This is interesting to study considering because can be a potential threat of disaster. The results of this study are expected to support providing an overview of the potential threat of volcanic disasters in the Mount Kaba Complex. The research methods used include geomorphological, stratigraphic, petrographic, and geochemical analyses. The geomorphological unit of Mount Kaba consists of 6 units. The types of volcanic rocks in the research area are dominated by lava and pyroclastic rocks. Based on the petrographic analysis of 10 samples, the names of the rocks in the research area are basalt scoria, basalt, and andesite. Based on the geochemical analysis of 8 samples, it is known that silica content in the rocks ranging from 44.40925 - 63.2993 %. Based on the AFM diagram, all samples are included in the tholeiitic series. Based on the TAS (Total Alkali Silica) diagram, it is known that the igneous rocks of the study area consist of andesite, basalt, tephrite, and trachyandesite.

Background: Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest disaster risk in the world, because according to the 2017 World Risk Index, Indonesia ranks 33rd in the world compared to other countries. According to data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), there were 2,572 natural disaster events in 2018 and 2,862 events in 2017. This study aims to determine the booklet media counseling on increasing disaster risk knowledge among adolescents at the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City Methods: This research is a quantitative study, using a pre-experimental design using a one group pets and posttest design. The population in this study were high school students of Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in grades 10 and 11 in science and social studies. There were 33 students. The sampling technique in this study used Accidental sampling Results: The results of the study were obtained: (1) Knowledge of the Pancasila Islamic boarding school students in Bengkulu city about the effect of booklet media counseling on increasing knowledge of disaster risk in adolescents Before being given booklet media, 31 people (93.9%) lacked knowledge and 2 people (6.1%) moderate knowledge. (2) Knowledge after high school students at Pancasila Islamic boarding school Bengkulu City About the effect of booklet media counseling on increasing knowledge of disaster risk in adolescents After being given a media booklet, 8 people (24.2%) lacked knowledge, 21 people (63.6%) had moderate knowledge and 4 people (12.1%) have good knowledge. (3) There is an effect of Knowledge of Media Booklet on increasing knowledge of Disaster Risk in adolescent students of Pancasila Islamic Boarding School Bengkulu City. This study used survey analytic design with cross sectional method. Population in this study were all stroke patients who treated at Inpatient Ward Dr. M. Yunus Hospital Bengkulu in 2016 with the amount of 355 people who contain of 138 haemoragic stroke and 217 people with non haemorragic stroke. Sample in this study was 78 people who contain of 30 people patients with haemorragic stroke and 48 people with non haemorragic stroke obtained with proporsional simple random sampling technique. Collecting data in this study used secondary data who obtained from medical record at Inpatient Ward Dr. M. Yunus Hospital Bengkulu. The results of this study : there were 48 people (61,5%) with non haemorragic stroke; there were 36 people (46,2%) with high cholesterol levels, and there is significant relationship between total cholesterol level with Incidence of Stroke on patients who treated at Inpatient Ward Dr. M. Yunus Hospital Bengkulu with moderate category relationship. It was expected that health workers in Stroke Inpatient Room of RSUD M. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) or Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF), commonly called Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF), is a disease caused by the dengue virus, which is transmitted by Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus mosquitoes. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that the number of reported cases of dengue fever has increased more than eightfold over the last four years, from 505,000 cases in 2013 to 4.2 million in 2019. Based on data from the Ministry of Health for 2020, cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) in Indonesia reached 71,700 cases. According to data from the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, the incidence of DHF in Bengkulu Province is relatively high, with morbidity and mortality rates above the national target. There were 1,261 cases of DHF that occurred in Bengkulu Province in 2020 (Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, 2020). This research is a quantitative descriptive analytic research with a case-control design, namely an analytic observation research conducted by comparing the case group and the control group based on their exposure status (retrospective). This design moves from the effect (illness) to the cause (exposure). aims to determine whether there is a relationship between nutritional status and 3M practises and the incidence of DHF. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of DHF in Bengkulu City in 2022, and there is a relationship between 3M practises and the incidence of DHF in Bengkulu City in 2022.

Blood donor activity conducted by a person is considered very important, because the blood needs in the Blood Transfusion Unit of Indonesia Red Cross then written UTD PMI in Bengkulu City, only fulfilled about 50% of the existing needs, especially for referrals from several Private Private Hospitals and Houses General Hospital. In Indonesia, which consists of thousands of islands, it is very likely that there will be population inequality between islands. The government initiated the transmigration program to collectively encourage a more even distribution of the population, especially outside Java. The condition of the transmigration location with agricultural potential has encouraged most of the transmigrants to have their main livelihood as farmers. One of the transmigration destinations in Indonesia is Bengkulu Province, which is spread over eight regencies, but Seluma Regency is the only district that is included in the 3T (Frontier, Isolated, Underdeveloped) in Bengkulu Province which is allocated for the settlement of transmigrants, and the Settlement Unit 3 Pagar Banyu is one of the transmigration destinations since 2007. This study aims to analyze the effect of farm diversification, land size, family labor, and non-farm income on transmigrant household income. The population in this study consists of 50 transmigrant households in the settlement unit 03 Pagar Banyu, Ulu Talo District, Seluma Regency, all selected as respondents. Data were collected through interviews based on questionnaires, which were then analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that farm diversification, land size, family labor, and non-farm income have a positive and significant effect on the income of transmigrant households. The results imply that transmigrant households should optimize farming in terms of diversification, land size, use of family labor, and engagement in non-farm income opportunities to increase income. Furthermore, the government should provide policies that focus on developing transmigrant farming.

Permasalahan utama pembangunan pertanian di Indonesia adalah semakin berkurangnya lahan-lahan pertanian produktif, penurunan kualitas sumberdaya lahan akibat pengelolaan yang kurang baik, dan kompetisi penggunaan dan fragmentasi lahan. Berbagai peraturan telah dikeluarkan pemerintah untuk membatasi konversi lahan sawah, namun upaya ini tidak banyak hasilnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa fenomena konversi lahan sawah menjadi kebun kelapa sawit yang terjadi di Kecamatan Kedurang Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan secara ekonomi, sehingga diperoleh nilai manfaat (land rent) yang optimal dari pengelolaan komoditas pada lahan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Kedurang, Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Penentuan daerah penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Selanjutnya dipilih Kecamatan Kedurang sebagai unit analisis, daerah ini memliliki areal persawahan yang luas dan memiliki sistem irigasi yang baik. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Agustus 2018 sampai dengan Oktober 2018. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan beberapa poin, yaitu: 1) Laju konversi lahan sawah terluas di Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan berlangsung pada tahun 2010 sampai 2015 mencapai 4.022 hektar, 2) Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai land rent dari usahatani padi sawah dengan pola tanam Padi-Padi sebesar Rp 9.826.601/hektar/tahun dan untuk pola Padi-Padi-Palawija sebesar Rp 13.658.440/hektar/tahun. Nilai land rent rata-rata lahan sawah dari kedua pola tanam sebesar Rp 11.571.319/hektar/tahun. Berdasarkan nilai land rent dari dari aktivitas usahatani kedua komoditas diperoleh indeks tingkat kesejahteraan petani sebesar 0,58 untuk usahatani padi dan 0,78 untuk kelapa sawit, artinya pengelolaan masing-masing komoditas pada luasan 1 hektar belum mampu mensejahterakan petani. 3) Faktor pendorong (push factor) konversi lahan sawah menjadi kebun kelapa sawit adalah kendala irigasi (X1), Resiko usahatani padi sawah (X3), jumlah tenaga kerja keluarga (X5).

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid 19) is rapidly spreading throughout the world, including Indonesia. Positive confirmed cases rose significantly in the period May-August 2021. Cases in Bengkulu City showed as many as 4,173 people, 3,905 people recovered, 100 people died, and 663 suspected cases. The government has made restrictions on community activities, including learning in schools. Some schools continue to carry out face-to-face learning by implementing strict health protocols. The spread of Covid 19 can be prevented by increasing public knowledge, including teachers and students by providing information about preventing transmission. The School Health Unit (UKS) as a driving force in schools can provide correct information to teachers and students. UKS is a health program implemented by schools to provide health education, health services and foster a healthy school environment. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of teachers and students towards efforts to prevent and transmit Covid 19 in schools, families, and communities. The method of this activity is communication, information, and observation to teachers and students at SMPIT Al-Hasanah Bengkulu City. This activity can measure the level of knowledge and attitudes of teachers and students before and after the activity to produce increased knowledge of the prevention and transmission of Covid 19 in schools and the community. Students become the most important part to overcome the spread in schools through increasing the role of UKS.

Penataan ruang di Indonesia sudah diimplemetasikan sejak tahun 2007, namun pengaruhnya terhadap kemiskinan belum banyak dikaji dan diteliti. Sejak perda Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) provinsi dan kabupaten/kota banyak ditetapkan ada kecederungan terjadi perlambatan angka penurunan kemiskinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah pengaruh lahan kosong terhadap kemiskinan. Statistik yang biasa digunakan untuk menyelidiki adanya keterkaitan secara spasial sebuah variabel penelitian adalah indeks moran, sedangkan pengaruh antar variabel yang menyelidiki sampai pada setiap unit amatan biasa digunakan ekonometrika spasial yakni regresi terboboti spasial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lahan kosong dan kemiskinan memiliki autokorelasi spasial yang mengelompok dengan nilai indeks moran masing-masing 0,203 dan 0,331. Kebaikan model dilihat dari R2 sebesar 0,218, yang berarti model ini hanya dapat menjelaskan variasi kemiskinan yang terjadi sebesar 21,8%. Pengaruh antara lahan kosong terhadap kemiskinan bergradasi secara kontinum dari bagian utara kota, pusat dan bagian selatan kota, semakin ke arah selatan pengaruhnya semakin besar. Pengaruh terkecil adalah 0.056, di Kelurahan Kandang Limun sedangkan terbesar adalah 0.342 di Kelurahan Teluk Sepang. Nilai ini menjelaskan apabila luas lahan kosong meningkat 1%, maka jumlah penduduk miskin akan bertambah antara 0,56% sampai 34,2%. Re-rata koefisien regresinya adalah 0,145 artinya rata-rata pengaruh lahan kosong terhadap kemiskinan mencapai 14,5% per kenaikan 1 % lahan.

ABSTRAK Provinsi Bengkulu terletak di antara Sumatra Fault Zone dan Mentawai Fault Zone, yang mana merupakan sistem patahan paling berbahaya di Pulau Sumatera, Indonesia. Selain itu, gempa bumi Bengkulu tahun 2000 dengan magnitudo sebesar Mw 7,9 menyebabkan banyak korban jiwa dan harta benda di sekitar wilayah studi, dan banyak gempa lain yang merusak yang terjadi setelah gempa ini. Penentuan zona rawan gempa Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan penting dilakukan untuk mengurangi kerusakan akibat gempa. Oleh karena itu, perekaman data mikrotremor short period dilakukan di 65 titik di daerah penelitian. Analisis data ambient noise dapat membantu mengidentifikasi local site-efect di Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan dengan menggunakan metode Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR). Frekuensi fundamental alami berkisar antara 1.0 Hz hingga 9.3 Hz, dan faktor amplifikasi berkisar antara 1.8 hingga 4.4. Nilai PGA diperoleh dari kejadian gempa bumi selama 100 tahun dan dihitung menggunakan persamaan Kanai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai PGA berkisar antara 0.18 g hingga 0.78 g. Zona rawan gempa di Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan terbagi menjadi tiga zona, yaitu zona klasifikasi rendah (Kota Manna, Pasar Manna, Bunga mas, dan Seginim) , sedang (Pino Raya, Air Nipis, dan Ulu Manna), dan tinggi (Manna, Kedurang, dan Kedurang Ilir). Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk mempertimbangkan langkah-langkah yang tepat untuk desain dan konstruksi tahan gempa di Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. ABSTRACT Bengkulu Province is between the Sumatra Fault Zone and the Mentawai Fault Zone, the most dangerous fault system in Sumatra, Indonesia. In addition, the 2000 Bengkulu earthquake with a magnitude of Mw 7.9 caused a significant loss of life and property in the study area, and many other destructive earthquakes occurred after this earthquake. Determining the earthquake-prone zone of South Bengkulu Regency is essential to reducing earthquake damage. Therefore, short-period microtremor data recording was conducted at 65 points in the study area. Analysis of ambient noise data can help identify local site effects in South Bengkulu Regency using the Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method. The natural fundamental frequency ranges from 1.0 Hz to 9.3 Hz, and the amplification factor ranges from 1.8 to 4.4. PGA values were obtained from a 100-year earthquake event and calculated using the Kanai equation. The results show that PGA values range from 0.18 g to 0.78 g. The result of this study indicated that in an international payment system that used L/C, both exporters and importers were protected, thus exporters did not have to worry about their goods not being paid for, while importers did not need to worry that the goods they bought did not arrive or that they would lose payment, because the bank would guarantee this matters if the required documents were appropriate. Background: The morbidity rate for toddlers with malaria in Indonesia had increased from 2013. Bengkulu city is a malaria-endemic area in Indonesia. Caregivers are people who stay with toddlers daily. Purpose: This study intended to identify the correlation between the malaria prevention knowledge and behavior of caregivers and malaria rates among toddlers in Basuki Rahmad Health Center in Bengkulu City. Method: This research was conducted in the Basuki Rahmad Health Center in Bengkulu City from March to April 2018. The research design was cross-sectional. The population size was 1,575 and the sample size was 127. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the chi-squared test. Results: The majority of caregivers were female, with a low educational background, with good knowledge of malaria that was not reflected in their behavior. There was a relationship between knowledge of the signs and symptoms of malaria (p = 0.01), knowledge of malaria prevention practices (p = 0.01), health behaviors (p = 0.01), and use of malaria prevention practices (p = 0.01) and malaria in toddlers. Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between caregiver knowledge of the signs and symptoms of malaria, knowledge of malaria prevention practices, health service use, use of prevention practices, and malaria incidence in toddlers.

Pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Pada tahap disseminate tidak dilaksanakan secara luas karena produk hanya terbatas penggunaannya kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, FKIP Universitas Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak berbasis online menggunakan google form dan google classroom layak digunakan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bengkulu. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penilaian berdasarkan lembar validasi ahli berada pada kualifikasi valid dengan rata-rata 4,00. Desain penelitian yang diterapkan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu berjumlah 348 orang. Sampel total sampling, namun yang memberikan respon hanya 289 mahasiswa (response rate= 83%). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan kuesioner dan teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan adalah Google Formulir. Hasil penelitian: 1) Problematika pembelajaran daring yang berasal dari luar mahasiswa (eksternal): kelayakan tempat belajar, kualitas jaringan internet, kualitas catu daya listrik, biaya kuota data, dan kapabilitas gawai yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Background of the study: The Bank Indonesia Representative Office creates and produces large numbers of archives every day. Bank Indonesia Representative Offices have their own system regarding records, namely MDBI (Bank Indonesia Document Management) which is supported by technology-based application tools, namely the BI-Records Management System (BI-RMS). This application is a system in the archive management process that is used regarding the form of activity of receiving or sending, filing, storing, using, maintaining, securing, and depreciating archives. Purpose: Knowing how to depreciate archives at Bank Indonesia Bengkulu Province and the obstacles in depreciating such archives. Method: This study used a qualitative case study method. Data collection was carried out through systematic observation and in-depth interviews with informants. Findings: The results of the study stated that there were several obstacles in shrinking archives. Transfer of archives is carried out based on the notification of the list of archives transferred to the BI-RMS system that appears when the archivist opens the system. In transferring archives, there are still several documents that do not have a code so that in determining KMJRBI, those who do not know the main tasks of the archive creation unit will likely be hampered in determining the archive classification code so that the archive depreciation process becomes less effective. Conclusion: The difficulty of determining the JRA for certain documents lies in the fact that JR of several different documents takes considerable for archivists to determine the JRA. In response to these obstacles, the Bengkulu Province Bank Indonesia Representative Office can conduct training to improve archivist competence in managing records, especially in the depreciation section.

Background: Fertility in Bengkulu province shows 2.3, although it is lower than the national figure, this figure shows that there are still many women of childbearing age who have more than two children. Meanwhile, the neonatal mortality rate is increasing . The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the history of child mortality and the fertility of women of childbearing age. Method: Quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) 2017, focusing on the childbearing age with a total sample of 274 people meeting the criteria. The location chosen is Bengkulu province. Data analysis was carried out by univariate and bivariate (chi square).Results: most of the respondents had 2 children (65.6%) and had no history of child mortality (90.2%). There is a relationship between Child Mortality History and fertility of urban age women. Conclusion: Age fertility in suburban Bengkulu province affects the history of child mortality.

ISO 14598 has a national standard in archive management so that agencies can have a more organized procedure or system for handling archival documents. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of ISO 15489: 2016-Record Management and find out the obstacles in Processing for Creating, Capturing, and Managing Records at Bank Indonesia, Bengkulu province. This research uses qualitative methods, data taken from the results of systematic observations, in-depth interviews with informants. The results of the study stated that Bank Indonesia had received a complaint of ISO 15489: 2016 but in its implementation there were still problems in filing and depreciation of archives. To respond to this problem, Bank Indonesia can check the BI-RMS application regularly so that it knows which files can be moved and destroyed, and archivists must record the files issued by each unit to avoid losing archives.

In this study, researcher used the needs analysis to find what are the need, lacks, and want of students in learning English. The instruments that used in this study are questionnaires, interview, and existing English textbooks used in English language learning. The result of the research indicate that the needs of the Tourism Study Program student grade XII of SMKN 7 Kota Bengkulu are materials and activities that support their activities to work in the tourism field and the existing English textbook used by Tourism Study Program student grade XII of SMKN 7 Kota Bengkulu that is English textbook from Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia (2015) do not cover the students’ need.

The Government of Indonesia through the National Population and Family Planning Board has established the programme to raise the age of first marriage. Based on the Performance and Accountability Program Survey/Survei Kinerja dan Akuntabilitas Program(SKAP) in 2019, there were 33% of teenagers in Indonesia did not know when to get married. The 2017 IDHS data shows 12,9% that women in Bengkulu have given birth and are pregnant with their first child aged 15-19 years. The cross-sectional study design used secondary data from the 2019 SKAP. Samples of this study were 341 teenager in Bengkulu Province. The instrument was instrument used in SKAP 2019, namely questionnaire for adolescents, families and women of childbearing age which consist of plan of age at first marriage. Analysis data univariable, analysis bivariable chi-square, and analysis multivariable logistic regression. The results showed that the majority of adolescents in Bengkulu Province (71.6%) had plans to marry at the age of 21 for girls and 25 for boys. The predisposing factors related to plan of age at first marriage are adolescent age, adolescent education, adolescent knowledge (Family Development, Family Planning, Adolescent Reproductive Health, Center for Information and Counseling-Adolescent Reproductive Health (PIK-KRR), family planning methods, the Planning Generation (GenRe) Program, impact of Early Marriage), Family Function Practice, Adolescent Attitudes (age of marriage, desire to have children), dating experience and sexual behavior. The most influential factor in the planning of the age at marriage among adolescents in Bengkulu Province is knowledge of reproductive health.

Bengkulu Province is the fourth-lowest province in Indonesia for sanitation facilities and drinking water availability. The difference in socioeconomic conditions and very low access to sanitation in Bengkulu Province poses a major challenge to ensuring water and sanitation services for all, so as to attempt to control a large number of infectious diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of sanitation and drinking water between urban and rural areas in Bengkulu Province. Data analyzed were Village Potential data (PODES) in 2018 and the sample were 148 villages. Research results show that sanitation facilities and the availability of clean water in urban areas are better than in rural areas. In rural areas the majority of sewage is unsanitary or without latrines/open defecation, garbage disposal is carried out by dumping it into the pit of natural soil or being burnt, the sewage is still open, the water source is still a dug well as a source of clean water. In conclusion, there are still gaps in terms of access to sanitation in rural areas and urban safe drinking water. An evaluation is needed to increase community access to sanitation in rural areas and drinking water in cities.

Provinsi Bengkulu merupakan salah satu provinsi dengan sarana sanitasi dan ketersediaan air minum ke empat terendah di Indonesia. Perbedaan kondisi sosial ekonomi dan akses sanitasi yang sangat rendah di Provinsi Bengkulu menimbulkan tantangan besar untuk memastikan layanan air dan sanitasi bagi semua, sehingga membantu mengendalikan sejumlah besar penyakit menular. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran sanitasi dan air minum antara wilayah perkotaan dan perdesaan di Provinsi Bengkulu. Data yang dianalisis adalah data Potensi Desa (PODES) tahun 2018 dengan unit analisis desa. Jumlah sampel sebesar 148 desa di daerah perkotaan dan perdesaan di Provinsi Bengkulu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sarana sanitasi dan ketersediaan air bersih di wilayah perkotaan lebih baik daripada di wilayah perdesaan. Di wilayah perdesaan mayoritas pembuangan tinja tidak saniter atau tanpa jamban/buang air besar sembarangan, pembuangan sampah dilakukan sdengan membuang ke dalam lubang tanah atau dibakar, saluran pembuangan air limbah masih terbuka, dan sumber air adalah sumur gali sebagai sumber air bersih. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam hal akses sanitasi dan air minum antara di perdesaan dan perkotaan. Perlu adanya evaluasi peningkatan akses masyarakat terhadap sanitasi di pedesaan dan air minum di perkotaan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan video terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN di Gugus VII Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian the matching only pretest-posttest group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus VII yang berstatus sekolah negeri dan memiliki akreditasi A. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih kelas VA dari SDN 49 berjumlah 30 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB dari SDN 19 berjumlah 26 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes tertulis dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil analisis nilai posttest menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Data hasil penelitian yang diolah menggunakan uji hipotesis (uji-t) yaitu nilai thitung (3,641) > ttabel (1,670) sehingga Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan video terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN di Gugus VII Kota Bengkulu.

Vector-borne diseases such as dengue are still a health problem in Indonesia. Vector control is the most effective measure to prevent disease transmission. Bactivec SL® has been used since 2008 in Bengkulu City in the dengue control program in Bengkulu City. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of biolarvicides has not been carried out effectively. This study aimed to asses the effectiveness of Bactivec SL® against larvae of Aedes sp. used to control dengue in 2020 from Bentiring Village, Bengkulu City. This research was an experimental post test only control group design in November to December 2020 . The sample was obtained from the Bentiring Village as many as 160 larvae of Aedes sp. instar III and instar IV and they were divided into 2 groups (control group and treatment group). This study used the biological test method (4 replications). Data were analyzed by one way ANOVA test and probit analysis to determine the value of LT50,90,99. The results showed that Bactivec SL® was no longer effective in controlling Aedes sp. larvae. in Kelurahan Bentiring with a larval mortality rate of 35%. The value of LT50,90,99 were 76 hours, 107 hours and 131 hours, respectively. The incidence of dengue fever in Bengkulu City in 3 consecutive years (2017-2020) has increased larvicide use rotation is very necessary for optimal control of Aedes sp larvae.

Penyakit tular vektor seperti dengue masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia. Pengendalian vektor merupakan tindakan yang paling efektif untuk mencegah penularan penyakit. Bactivec SL® telah digunakan sejak tahun 2008 di Kota Bengkulu dalam program pengendalian dengue di Kota Bengkulu. Evaluasi efektifitas penggunaan biolarvasida belum dilakukan dengan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas Bactivec SL® terhadap larva Aedes sp. yang digunakan untuk kontrol dengue pada tahun 2020 yang berasal dari Kelurahan Bentiring Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental post test only control group design pada bulan November-Desember 2020. Sampel penelitian ini didapatkan dari Kelurahan Bentiring sebanyak 160 ekor larva Aedes sp. instar III dan instar IV yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok uji dengan sembilan variasi waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode uji hayati sebanyak empat kali replikasi. Data dianalisis dengan uji one way ANOVA dan analisis probit untuk menentukan nilai LT50,90,99. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Bactivec SL® dosis 3 µl/L sudah tidak efektif dalam mengendalikan larva Aedes sp. di Kelurahan Bentiring dengan angka kematian larva sebesar 35%. Nilai LT50,90,99 berturut-turut sebesar LT50 76 jam, LT90 107 jam dan LT 99 131 jam. Angka kejadian DBD di Kota Bengkulu dalam tiga tahun berturut-turut (2017-2020) mengalami peningkatan. Rotasi larvasida sangat diperlukan untuk pengendalian larva Aedes sp. yang optimal.

BACKGROUND: One of the factors contributing to dengue’s endemicity is the density of the dengue vector, namely, Aedes aegypti as the primary vector and Aedes albopictus as the secondary vector. Bentiring and Kandang Limun villages are high endemic areas of dengue. AIM: This study aimed to determine the relationship between dengue endemicity and density figure (DF) and Maya index (MI) in Bentiring and Kandang Limun villages, Bengkulu city. METHODS: This study used a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified sampling. The sampling refers to the guidelines for dengue entomology surveys according to the WHO 1999 criteria. A total of 400 ovitraps were installed, 200 ovitraps inside the house and 200 ovitraps outside the house. RESULTS: The results showed that Bentiring and Kandang Limun villages had a high risk of dengue transmission based on entomological parameters, namely, ovitrap index (OI) 56% and 55% (DF 6), house index (HI) 45% and 44% (DF 6), container index (CI) 23% and 23% (DF 6), and BI 96% and 120% (DF 7 and 8). The areas have a high risk of dengue transmission based on the MI 71% and 76%, respectively. There is a relationship between dengue endemicity and entomological index in Bentiring and Kandang Limun villages, Bengkulu city, with a significance value (p = 0.000) and a powerful correlation (r = 1.000). CONCLUSION: There is a relationship between dengue endemicity and the MI in Bentiring village and Kandang Limun village, Bengkulu city, with a significance value (p = 0.014 and 0.058) and a powerful correlation (r = 0.920 and r = 1.000), respectively. The entomological index and DF are predictors for dengue prevention and control environment to minimize mosquito breeding sites and reduce disease transmission.

Lower Back Pain (LBP) is pain that is felt in the lower back area. Based on the 2020 International Association for the Study of Pain, it shows that the results of the prevalence of LBP are estimated at ± 7.5% of the global population or around 577 million people who experience LBP. In Indonesia, data on the number of LBP sufferers themselves is not known with certainty, but it is estimated that the numbers vary from 7.6% to 37% of the total population in Indonesia. The prevalence of musculoskeletal diseases in Indonesia is 7.9% and there are three provinces with the highest prevalence, namely Aceh (13.3%), Bengkulu (10.5%) and Bali (8.5%). The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of William Flexion Exercise (WFE) on lower back pain for nurses at RSUD Dr.M. Yunus Bengkulu City. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-post test design with control group, the sample is inpatient nurses in Seruni and Melati rooms at RSUD Dr. M. Yunus City of Bengkulu, totaling 28 people using Purposive Sampling technique. The results showed that the average value of low back pain before being given intervention in the intervention group was 6.00 while the average value of low back pain before being given intervention in the control group was 5.00. There is a difference in the average value of low back pain in the intervention group 1.00 and the control group 2.00. It can be concluded that William's flexion exercise is more influential than McKenzie's extension exercise.

Data WUS SEZ in Indonesia in 2010 (30,9%) increased in 2013 (46,4%). Sixteen provinces with the prevalence of the risk of SEZ above the national province, namely the Bengkulu Province (15%). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of nutrition counseling on the knowledge and intake of macro nutrient on WUS SEZ in the working area of Health Center of Sawah Lebar the Width of the City of Bengkulu the Year 2018. The results of this study there was significant influence of nutritional counseling (p = 0.000) on the intake of macro nutrient (p = 0.000). Female Farmers in Rindu Hati Village not only help their husbands or family heads to make a living to increase family income which is also expected to improve the level of family welfare, but also take care of the household, such as childcare and other domestic work. This condition makes female farmers have some vulnerability in their lives. There are three components of vulnerability affecting adaptation strategies of female farmers in their lives: 1) the level of exposure, i.e. the extent to which female farmers intersects with the disorder. 2) The level of sensitivity, defined as the effect or impact of the problem or disorder received either directly or indirectly by the female farmers. 3) Adaptability (capacity of response), is the female farmers ability to respond disturbances, balance the potential impacts that will occur, take advantage of opportunities, and fused with the consequences that may arise from a change (Gallopin 2006). This study used the descriptive qualitative design, to examine the vulnerability life of female farmers. Through interviews and observation of 24 informants who then analyzed, the researchers got the conclusions: 1) Female farmers are mostly dominated by those over 40 years old. Most of them have elementary school education, with dependents living 3 to 7 people. 2) Female farmers have experience vulnerability in the aspects of education, health aspects, and economic aspects. Vulnerability of life in these three aspects results in female farmers and their families experiencing various problems of lack of knowledge and skills, disruption of health, and low income to meet their daily needs. Nevertheless, the results of the study also show that these female farmers have potential and resources that can be utilized in dealing with vulnerabilities and life problems, namely social capital in the form of family values and mutual cooperation that are still strong in Rindu Hati Village. Based on the vulnerability and potential as well as the available source system, it is recommended that there be efforts to empower or develop the capacity of female farmers so that they are able to face the vulnerability of life while at the same time increasing their welfare.

Vaccine management is an inseparable part of service. Every service unit must manage vaccines properly according to vaccine management guidelines as a quality of service. Vaccines which are included in freeze sensitive vaccines and heat sensitive vaccines, if not stored at the perfect temperature, can cause loss of vaccine potency. The purpose of this study was to review how the Covid-19 vaccine preparations were stored at the Bengkulu Health Office. This research uses an observational design with a checklist & interview method for retrospective data collection with a cross sectional approach. The instruments or tools used in this research are a checklist, interview list of questions and primary data on activities for storing Covid-19 vaccine preparations in the pharmaceutical installation warehouse of the Bengkulu Health Service.The results of the research show that the storage of Covid-19 vaccines at the Bengkulu health service has met the requirements but is still not entirely in accordance with good drug distribution methods and Minister of Health Regulation number 12 of 2017, namely that there are storage maintenance indicators that do not meet the requirements.

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that Indonesia is in 3rd place after China and India as the country with the largest number of smokers in the world. This research aims to look at the factors related to smoking behavior in the work environment among male employees at the Bengkulu Regional Police's Bidokkes. This research used a cross-sectional design, a total sampling technique, namely all permanent employees and male honorary employees of the Bengkulu Police Department, both smokers and non-smokers, totaling 50 people. The results of the univariate research showed that there were 25 people (50.0%) with good knowledge, there were 23 people (46.0%) with poor psychology, 29 people (58.0%) who had an unsupportive attitude, there were 34 people (68, 0%) who smoke. Bivariate analysis results show a relationship between knowledge with a value of p = 0.001, psychology with a value of p = 0.003 and attitude with a value of p = 0.001 with smoking behavior in the work environment among male employees at the Bengkulu Regional Police Bidokkes with a medium relationship category. It is recommended that Bidokkes provide a smoking-free area and create clear standard operating procedures regarding employees who smoke, so that no employees smoke in the Bengkulu Biddokes environment.

<p>More than two years have lasted since the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. The case of Covid-19 in Indonesia has spread to all provinces and areas such as Bengkulu City. This study aims to determine the profile of clinical manifestations and antibody dynamics in Covid-19 patients in Bengkulu City. This study used a cohort design on Covid-19 patients at two Bengkulu City referral hospitals, M. Yunus Hospital and Harapan dan Doa Hospital. Data on clinical manifestations were obtained from the medical records of Covid-19 patients. Meanwhile, to determine the level of IgM and IgG antibodies, patient serum samples were taken directly from respondents from the beginning of hospital admission three times on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd weeks. Then the samples were examined by immunofluorescent assay method. The results of this study indicate that, in general, there are no significant differences in anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG levels in Covid-19 patients in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd weeks of Covid-19 in Bengkulu City. The Spearman correlation test also showed no correlation between IgG levels and the clinical manifestations of Covid-19. Although not statistically significant, there was a trend towards differences in antibody levels in patients with mild, moderate and severe clinical manifestations. The results of this study indicate that there are variations in antibody dynamics in Covid-19 patients in Bengkulu City.</p>

Anemia is a severe global public health problem, especially in the age range of 15-49 years. Indonesia ranks 5th (22.331%) with the most anemia globally. Anemia can occur in adolescent girls. Adolescent girls have a higher risk of anemia than teenage boys. Anemia happens because young women experience menstruation which causes blood loss every month, so they need twice as much iron during menstruation. An abnormal menstrual pattern is a risk factor for anemia. SMKN 6 Bengkulu City and SMAN 7 Bengkulu City are the 1st and 2nd highest coastal areas with risk factors for anemia in adolescent girls in Bengkulu City. Determine the relationship between menstrual patterns and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls in the coastal area of Bengkulu City. This research design implemented a cross-sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 60 respondents. Further, the study used an accidental sampling technique. The data analysis employed chi-square. 31 young women (51,67%) experienced abnormal menstrual patterns, 29 people (48, 33%) experienced normal menstrual patterns, 34 people (56.66%) were not anemic, and 26 people (43, 34%) had anemia. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value = 0.000 < a = 0.05. This study concludes that Ha is accepted, so there is a relationship between menstrual patterns and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls in the coastal area of Bengkulu City. Young women are expected to increase their knowledge and be willing to take Fe tablets every month.

In 2021, the rate of stunting in Indonesia was 24.4%, and 21.1% happened in Bengkulu province. In 2020, the proportion of pregnant women who receive iron tablets in Bengkulu Province was 97%. Some regencies have a lower proportion, such as North Bengkulu at 87%. Pregnant women who suffer from the lack of iron and folic acid intake may experience anemia and impaired fetal growth. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of calcium and iron supplementation in pregnant women on newborn body length in Bengkulu Province. This study used an experimental design with a post-test-only control group. The population was third semester pregnant women in Bengkulu Province. Subjects were taken using purposive sampling technique. The number of subjects involved was 29 in intervention group and control group. Instruments used ini this study were food frequency questionaire (FFQ), mid upper arm circumference tape, and a respondent characteristics questionnaire. Data analysis methods include independent t-test, correlation, and double linear regression. The consumption of iron tablets and calcium tablets (p=0.0001), as well as the nutritional status of pregnant women (p=0.0001), have significant effect on newborns body length. Calcium and iron tablets supplementation improve the nutritional status of pregnant women and increase newborn body length. However, it should be measured by using same controlling variables such as education, age, parity, protein intake, vitamin C intake, knowledge and gestational age of childbirth.

<p>Although the study of effective strategies for teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) in Indonesia has become prominent research topics for decades, little attention is paid to the students’ experiences of learning English. This study aims at researching some of our students’ experiences of learning English both at their junior and senior high schools. The students reflecting the experience were participants of our course unit of General English, Introduction to linguistics, Structure 2, History of English language, and were both from non-English and English departments at the University of Bengkulu and Dehasen University, Bengkulu, Indonesia. Of the eight effective and fourteen ineffective ways to learn English, we found three main issues apparent in our study namely self-confidence and motivation, learning environment, and methods and media in teaching English as a foreign language. This study aims to describe the school health unit (UKS) as the main facility of health development in the Elementary School 79 Bengkulu. This research is conducted by using a qualitative approach and case study design. The sources of research data got from the principal, homeroom teacher, physical education teacher, and UKS custodian. This study uses observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The stages of data analysis used Data Reduction Analysis Techniques, Data Presentation, and Conclusions. The results showed that UKS functions as the main facility for healthy development for students at elementary school, UKS conducted counseling on the importance of personal hygiene to students, UKS introduced a healthy environment and various diseases, and managed and implemented UKS facilities.

The aims of this study are to: 1) describe the difference of Electric Motion (GGL), 2) describe the difference of electric power per unit area of the anode (Pa) which is produced between the series design MFC type series, parallel, mixed type 1 and mixed type 2, and 3) describe the significant difference of learning outcomes between the PBL learning model using MFC media with PBL learning model by using the electrical kit medium on dynamic electrical concept in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bengkulu. The free variable of this research are MFC stack system design (series, parallel, mixed types 1 and 2) and the dependent variable is GGL and electric power per unit of anode surface area. The results are obtained difference GGL and Pa between series design, parallel, mixed types 1 and 2 by comparison are 3: 1: 1,5: 2 whereas Pa ratio is 1: 10: 6: 2 with maximum GGL is obtained in series design of 3,29 V and Pa maximum in parallel circuit 21,76 mW / m2. Implementation of MFC series as a learning media used Problem Based Learning model on physics learning Implementation of MFC circuit with research design using one group pretest-posttest design. The testing of hypothesis with t-test shows tcount 2.739> ttable 2,001 and 95% significant level so it can be concluded there are significant differences in learning outcomes of PBL learning model by using MFC media with PBL learning model by using media Electric Kit on dynamic electrical concept in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bengkulu.
