Abstract:
Modern enterprise resource management systems are quite universal, but in practice each firm has its own characteristics, which are determined by the type of activity, scale of production, management structure and other factors. These features must be taken into account when choosing a model of management accounting, adapting it to the requirements of production and management of a particular enterprise. This paper focuses on the development of a model of management reporting of an insurance company based on the 1C: Enterprise system using dashboards. Based on the needs of company management, the requirements for the model of management reporting were formulated: simplicity and clarity; control of key indicators; choice of time intervals; comparison of locations (branches, separate offices, sites, etc.); taking into account exchange rates. The proposed conceptual model includes a system of key indicators, a block of preparatory information for dashboards, blocks of the 1C: Enterprise system (sources of information). The development of the model according to this conceptual scheme involves the following stages: the choice of key indicators; content development and design of dashboards; preparation of input information for dashboards. The proposed blocks of key indicators of the conceptual model were divided according to the content into 2 dashboards: dashboard of insurance indicators and dashboard of financial indicators. Dashboards use the following filters: month, location, and indicator. In the dashboard of financial indicators there is an additional filter "currency" (UAH, EUR, USD). The developed conceptual model of management reporting and its implementation with the help of dashboards can be a useful tool for the management of the insurance company. The model focuses on small firms, but takes into account the spatial structure of the company, the structure of insurance products, and time interval. Dashboards present in a simple and clear way relevant information that can be used in making management decisions.

Abstract:
This article is focused on the possibility of utilizing dashboard applications in financial modeling. In the era of easy access to the spreadsheet generator, as well as applications and the Internet, it is appropriate to use these tools in each area. The increasing amount of data and the need for daily monitoring and evaluation lead to the development of management applications with graphical data analysis known as “Dashboards.” The manager has the option to buy the app with a predefined environment, or create his own version—specific to the company. If only a simpler design is needed, without an online base and a connection with external databases, then it is possible to create such a simple dashboard using Excel and manage it by trained personnel. In the article, we, therefore, introduced a sample of financial indicator suitable for analysis through the application process and also showed how to create the basic interactive application.

Abstract:
Monitoring progress made in attaining sustainable development is a highly debated issue. Starting from the framework defined by the United Nations 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), in this paper dashboard and multidimensional index were chosen as instruments for assessing and communicating progress made in implementation of SDG. Their contributions have been discussed for Brazil in the years 2000s. Brazil is a federation of 26 States and a Federal District. To take into consideration local differences, data were collected and examined on a State base. By using a dashboard of 13 dimensions, one for each of the selected SDG, as well as a multidimensional index, it was possible to outline a better description of progress made in each Brazilian State over the selected period, as well as to identify specific obstacles to sustainable development.

Abstract:
Proactive control of hospital processes has a significant influence on patient performance and satisfaction. The objective of the research is to develop a dashboard for the evaluation of patient flow management in hospital institutions. Based on a descriptive quantitative study, a procedure is proposed for the development of a dashboard for the evaluation of patient flow management in hospital institutions, structured in five stages and nine steps, including procedures for the identification of key variables and aggregation of indicators. A dashboard was developed for the General Surgery service of a Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital, which is composed of 18 indicators, six synthetic indexes and one comprehensive indicator. Among the positive implications for healthcare managers is the possibility of monitoring and comparing strategies with a process vision between different departments in support of proactive and strategic decision making in order to improve hospital performance.

Abstract:
Institutions or companies must indirectly be ready to face the era of digitalization in presenting company information, especially to see employee performance. Many companies have not used an application that can help in the process of monitoring employees so far. The problem that occurs is that the company has been monitoring the process using a Spreadsheet which consists of inputting employee performance and reporting employee performance results with a predetermined target. In the process it takes a long time and tools to assist in monitoring and measuring employee performance. Dashboard monitoring is designed using the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) method that will help management and then focus on performance aspects that are used as a measure of company performance, which in turn the dashboard application with KPI will facilitate division heads and managers in conducting the analysis process, monitoring and evaluation. From the results of this research, the use of dashboard monitoring can facilitate the user in monitoring and measuring the KPI of each employee.

Abstract:
Background Public web-based COVID-19 dashboards are in use worldwide to communicate pandemic-related information. Actionability of dashboards, as a predictor of their potential use for data-driven decision-making, was assessed in a global study during the early stages of the pandemic. It revealed a widespread lack of features needed to support actionability. In view of the inherently dynamic nature of dashboards and their unprecedented speed of creation, the evolution of dashboards and changes to their actionability merit exploration. Objective We aimed to explore how COVID-19 dashboards evolved in the Canadian context during 2020 and whether the presence of actionability features changed over time. Methods We conducted a descriptive assessment of a pan-Canadian sample of COVID-19 dashboards (N=26), followed by an appraisal of changes to their actionability by a panel of expert scorers (N=8). Scorers assessed the dashboards at two points in time, July and November 2020, using an assessment tool informed by communication theory and health care performance intelligence. Applying the nominal group technique, scorers were grouped in panels of three, and evaluated the presence of the seven defined features of highly actionable dashboards at each time point. Results Improvements had been made to the dashboards over time. These predominantly involved data provision (specificity of geographic breakdowns, range of indicators reported, and explanations of data sources or calculations) and advancements enabled by the technologies employed (customization of time trends and interactive or visual chart elements). Further improvements in actionability were noted especially in features involving local-level data provision, time-trend reporting, and indicator management. No improvements were found in communicative elements (clarity of purpose and audience), while the use of storytelling techniques to narrate trends remained largely absent from the dashboards. Conclusions Improvements to COVID-19 dashboards in the Canadian context during 2020 were seen mostly in data availability and dashboard technology. Further improving the actionability of dashboards for public reporting will require attention to both technical and organizational aspects of dashboard development. Such efforts would include better skill-mixing across disciplines, continued investment in data standards, and clearer mandates for their developers to ensure accountability and the development of purpose-driven dashboards.

Abstract:
Most higher education institutions view their increasing use of learning analytics as having significant potential to improve student academic achievement, retention outcomes, and learning and teaching practice but the realization of this potential remains stubbornly elusive. While there is an abundance of published research on the creation of visualizations, dashboards, and predictive models, there has been little work done to explore the impact of learning analytics on the actual practice of teachers. Through the lens of social informatics (an approach that views the users of technologies as active social actors whose technological practices constitute a wider socio-technical system) this qualitative study reports on an investigation into the practice of 30 tutors in the STEM faculty at Europe’s largest distance learning organization, The Open University UK (OU). When asked to incorporate learning analytics (including predictive learning analytics) contained in the Early Alert Indicator (EAI) dashboard during the 2017–2018 academic year into their practice, we found that tutors interacted with this dashboard in certain unanticipated ways and developed three identifiable “shadow practices”.

This work consists of an analysis of the automotive sector in Portugal in the years 2019 and 2020 and the consequences of the pandemic, through the construction of a Dashboard that allows companies in the sector to quickly and effectively analyse the data without having to process them. In addition, it enables companies to analyse their performance through graphs and tables. This Dashboard is built with data from the MotorData platform, which belongs to the Portuguese Automobile Trade Association, ACAP, which has represented for over 100 years the entire national automotive sector. This analysis overcomes the previous problem of only being available to companies the information on the number of monthly registrations by brands. With this work companies are not only able to see the number of registrations by brand, models, type of energy and segment, but also to know their performance in the market. An analysis of the data obtained in MotorData for the pandemic period was also carried out and it was concluded, for instance, that the lockdown was responsible for 49% reduction on the sale of light vehicles.

The Municipality of Goiania has been highlighted in national media as one of the cities for better quality of life and environmental preservation. The study aims to analyze the sustainable development of the Municipality of Goiania, using this method the Panel Sustentabiliade (Dashboard of Sustainability), which includes four dimensions: environmental, economic, social and institutional. For the analysis we used seven indicators in the economic dimension, environmental dimension in the 13 indicators, 22 indicators in the social and institutional dimension in the two indicators, totaling 44 indicators. We compared the latest data with the previous year. The main limitation of this study was to find reliable time series statistics. Given this difficulty can highlight the institutional dimension with only two indicators. The institutional and economic dimensions with better performance, while the environmental and social conditions were worse. The Dashboard of Sustainability is a useful tool to aid in the Public Managers in the measurement of sustainable development, based on better data consolidation. The difficulties portrayed in research concerning the absence of a systematic generation of statistical data for the municipality may also affect the development of public policy more efficient in dealing with sustainable development, as well as the measurement of these.

Abstract:
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) give practitioners immersive experience that is priceless when it comes to decision making and performance-enhancing in software companies. Used together with different tools that enable visualization of KPIs, users obtain big advantages that enable quick troubleshooting and detections of errors that could emerge in a product or a system. Many studies have been followed out in the field of data visualization using KPIs and digital dashboards. Still, the subject of KPIs providing valuable information to companies that are developing HR and payroll systems is relatively unexplored. The purpose of this thesis has been to investigate how essential KPIs should be visualized on a digital dashboard using a case company that focuses on developing HR and payroll systems. To investigate the phenomenon, five different interviews were conducted, and a digital dashboard was developed. The interviewees that participated in the empiric data collection were employees stationed in different teams with various authorities and experiences in the field of dashboards and KPIs. Previous works in the field of data visualization indicates that KPIs can be used and presented in various ways. When presenting KPIs on a dashboard, there are different factors that are of big influence of how successful the visualization gets. There are no complete templates on how KPIs should be visualized, however there are guidelines on how a dashboard could be shaped. Something that previous works and different interviewees in the present study agreed on was that a dashboard should consist of 4 to 8 KPIs. Too many KPIs can decrease the chance of obtaining the advantages that monitoring and visualizing KPIs on a digital dashboard can bring. Something that emerged from the study is the importance of first identify what to visualize and then implement how. Among the answers during the data collection, many interviewees found the number of users that were logged in on their products as something that would be useful to monitor. The reason for this was partly that the interviewees considered that by monitoring these numbers, it could increase the pride among the colleagues. The interviewees thought that it might boost morale among the employees if they visualized the many users of the products they are developing.

The Municipality of Aruanã in Goiás is not only regional but also national reference when thinking about fishing tourism. For this feature, we analyzed the degree of sustainable development of the municipality of Aruanã, through the Sustainability Panel (Dashboard of Sustainability), which is characterized by addressing four dimensions, environmental, economic, social and institutional method. 3 indicators for the environmental dimension, 5 indicators for the economic dimension, 11 indicators for the social dimension and only 02 indicators for the institutional dimension were analyzed. A total of 21 indicators were analyzed in two periods, in 2005 and in 2010. A major limitation of this research was to find indicators of two years at regional, state and national sources. Therefore, we highlight the use of only 02 indicators of institutional dimension and only 03 in the dimension nature (environmental). The economic dimension had the best result and the worst was the environmental dimension. The social and institutional dimensions showed average result. In the final calculation of the Index Dashboard of Sustainability for Aruanã, Goiás, met a score characterized as poor, putting the county in a position below the average.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The construction industry has a great opportunity to streamline its operations even more by making greater use of the digital revolution. The industry today uses a lot of manual data management and analysis to get an overview of the business and to make decisions. This can be a time-consuming process that could be made more efficient through Business Intelligence (BI). BI is a technology that automatically, with the help of selected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), shows the current status of how a business performs. This can allow managers and executives to make decisions easier and faster. This study examines which KPIs that are of common interest to companies and organizations in the construction industry as well as how these KPIs can be presented to the end users of a BI application. To investigate this, data is collected through literature studies and interviews, which results in a list of common KPIs for the industry. From this common list, a number of KPIs are selected to be visually represented. An analysis of the results, indicates that KPIs are of different importance and relevance depending on which sector of the construction industry the interviewee belongs to. There also appears to be sector-specific KPIs and the common list suggests that the profit margin is of great importance throughout the whole industry. KPIs can be represented in different types of charts and diagrams, depending on the purpose they hold, and should be designed so that they are intuitive and easy to understand.

Gamers are not a monolithic group; gaming preferences and motivations vary in important ways among gamers. An empirical, validated model of gaming motivations provides a crucial methodological bridge between player preferences and their in-game behaviours, and, more importantly, engagement and retention outcomes. Instead of simply seeing on a key performance indicator dashboard that a certain percentage of gamers are leaving, a motivation model allows us to pinpoint why those gamers are leaving.

Abstract:
Counting Religion in Britain, 1970–2020, the fourth volume in the author’s chronological history of British secularization, sheds significant new light on the nature, scale, and timing of religious change in Britain during the past half-century, with particular reference to quantitative sources. Adopting a key performance indicators approach, twenty-one facets of personal religious belonging, behaving, and believing are examined, offering a much wider range of lenses through which the health of religion can be viewed and appraised than most contemporary scholarship (which is typically confined to one or two measures). Summative analysis of these indicators, by means of a secularization dashboard, leads to a reaffirmation of the validity of secularization (in its descriptive sense) as the dominant narrative and direction of travel since 1970, while acknowledging that it is an incomplete process and without endorsing all aspects of the paradigmatic expression of secularization as a by-product of modernization. The appendix of 173 tables, a discrete statistical reference work in its own right, besides supporting (and being cross-referenced in) the main text, is designed as an extension to 2020 of the appendix of tables to 1970 in the acclaimed 1977 Clarendon Press volume Churches and Churchgoers: Patterns of Church Growth in the British Isles since 1700, by Robert Currie, Alan Gilbert, and Lee Horsley. As well as covering statistics generated by faith communities and the state, as did the 1977 book, the appendix to Counting Religion in Britain, 1970–2020 includes a wide variety of time series from national sample surveys.

Abstract:
In recent decades, the long arm of US politics has reached the intimate lives of women all over the world. Since 1984, healthcare organizations in developing countries have faced major cuts in US foreign aid if they perform or promote abortions as a method of family planning. The policy—commonly known as the global gag rule—is a hallmark of Republican administrations. The reinstatement and expansion of the global gag rule by Donald Trump in January 2017 caused a firestorm of debate. Proponents emphasize the importance of reducing abortions globally, while critics predict large increases in unsafe abortions and maternal mortality resulting from disruptions to family-planning services. How plausible are the various claims and projections? This question is surprisingly difficult to answer because there is little statistical evidence on the global gag rule. This book helps to fill the gap by conducting a systematic analysis of how the global gag rule affects women’s reproductive health across developing regions. The analysis yields three important messages: (1) in the majority of countries that receive US family-planning assistance, the global gag rule has failed to achieve its objective of reducing abortions; (2) there is no definitive relationship between restrictive national abortion laws and abortion rates; and (3) the 2017 expansion of the global gag rule will have adverse effects on a dashboard of health indicators for women, men, and children. These powerful messages should be heard by policymakers over the voices calling for an ideologically based policy that has counterproductive results.

AbstractLearning Analytics (LA) consists of miscellaneous steps that include data harvesting, storing, cleaning, anonymisation, mining, analysis, and visualisation so that the vast amount of educational data is comprehensible and ethically utilisable by educators or instructors to obtain the advantages and benefits that LA can bring to the educational scene. These include the potential to increase learning experiences and reduce dropout rates. In this chapter, we shed light on OER repositories, LA, and LA dashboards and present an implementation of a research-driven LA dashboard for displaying OER and their repositories that allows the visualisation of educational data in an understandable way for both educators and learners. Moreover, we present an LA dashboard for displaying OER that shows information about the existing German OER repositories as part of our EduArc project located in Germany. The LA dashboard consists of multiple adopted indicators and metrics such as the number of reading sessions, duration of reading sessions, number of reading interruptions, number of learning activities, student attendance, and student grades. The details of the research methodology, including a literature review to create this dashboard, as well as the display items of the dashboard are presented and further elaborated.

Abstract:
AbstractCities around the world have faced the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic with unprecedented speed, due to our hyper-connected society. As history teaches us, epidemics plague society because of the vulnerabilities generated by humans through their relationships with the environment, with other species and with each other. The recent pandemic is a stark reminder that urbanization has changed the way people and communities live, work, and interact, and it is even more necessary than in the past to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to the development of systemic operational skills that can address complex issues within cities. This work showed how many measures adopted during the emergency have now become part of daily life. The lesson of the pandemic is that people’s health is connected to and dependent on the health of the planet, and cities are at the center of this relationship. The objective of the research starts from the need to identify a selection of post-COVID indicators providing an analysis methodology suitable for the creation of its own final set with the identification of specific key performance indicators (KPIs) of the project, replicable in other urban contexts, on which to base the analysis of the level of local sustainability, especially at the neighborhood scale. The proposed methodological framework is developed in two phases: (1) indicator selection and (2) baseline scenario, set out to investigate the existing correlations between the urban environment and the neighborhood level of cities. On the basis of the assessment of the KPIs, selected on the basis of numerous comparisons with the project's internal and external stakeholders, thanks to the creation of an interactive dashboard with Tableau software, it was possible to analyze the basic scenario of proximity at the neighborhood scale for the City of Turin, highlighting weak points and priority areas on which to act, experimenting with the theme “Inhabiting proximity” as an urban response to the pandemic.

Abstract:
The localization problem of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) involves adopting strategies that are in tune with local conditions, to achieve a given SDG target. However, even within a given region, localized conditions may vary drastically. With increasing amounts of Open Government Data (OGD) being available, there is an opportunity to systematically address the localization problem by using predictive and prescriptive modeling techniques. This work presents a predictive and prescriptive modeling dashboard for the SDG indicator maternal deaths (MD) for the Indian state of Karnataka. The dashboard was created by examining a vast set of data points to focus on four factors that showed high correlations with that of MD. We then construct a multivariate linear regression model to showcase the differential impact that a given factor has on the indicator and identify prescribed values for different factors to achieve a given target value of the indicator. Finally, a budget allocation dashboard is also provided that helps policymakers allocate budgets to specific schemes to help operationalize these changes. This dashboard was built by combining data coming from five different OGD sources.

Abstract:
This article aimed to create a visual data panel (dashboard), as an instrument for analyzing policies/programs to promote the rights of people with disabilities in Pernambuco municipalities. The ArcGIS Platform Dashboard tool was used to build the data panel. In order to carry out the research, data from the "Pesquisa de Informação Básicas Municipais -MUNIC", carried out in 2019 by the IBGE, was obtained and properly processed, in which it made available data regarding the existence of policies/programs to promote the rights of PCD in all municipalities in the country. Brazil, ArcGIS Pro was used for manipulation, in a Geographic Information System environment, and analysis of the data of the 33 items related to accessibility in the municipalities of Pernambuco portrayed in the research. These items provided subsidies for the calculation of the municipal performance indicator and several graphs, which are presented in the data panel created, clearly portraying the level of performance of the municipalities in relation to the subject studied. It was concluded that the ArcGIS Platform Dashboard tool proved to be an excellent alternative for creating a visual data panel and this, in turn, contributed to a better understanding of accessibility in the municipalities of Pernambuco, and can be used as an instrument to induce inclusive public policies.

Abstract:
KPI stands for key performance indicator. The name suggests, a corporate KPI is nothing more than an indicator that measures the performance of a particular business activity or area. There can be instantly find out from car's speedometer and other indicators on the dashboard. Well-chosen KPI combination will allow to run business effectively, not only provide information on how business is doing. but will be able to identify emerging issues in time, take corrective action and see at least a little bit into the future. With KPI, there can be tracked not only a company's financial results, but also performance in all other important areas, such as sales, marketing, manufacturing, customers, suppliers or employees. KPIs also differ depending on the different sectors and the nature of the activity (production / trade / services / logistics ...). Performance indicators can take various forms: absolute number (e.g. sales achieved in €), relative data (% sales growth), ratio (number of pieces produced per day), ranking or rating (customer satisfaction). From a global perspective, it is the goal of all initiatives addressing the issue sustainable development to correctly define the essence of sustainability, to formulate principles and measures to improve and maintain economic, social conditions from an environmental point of view, to set acceptable targets, to contribute with active interventions to fulfill them, but also to choose the right indicators, indices or other permanent measures sustainability.

Abstract:
Abstract Pressure cycle fatigue has been shown in industry to be a contributing factor to pipeline failure. There are methods for pressure cycle fatigue monitoring that can be used as a leading indicator for the risk of the pipeline to fatigue related failure. Once lines with high cycling are identified, the risk of the cycling to the asset and the mitigation strategies for the cycling can be discussed within the organization. By mitigating the driving force of crack initiation and grow to failure in-service, the pipeline community is safer. Shell Pipeline Company, LP. (SPLC) experienced two in-service failures on the same pipeline in under a year where fatigue was a common root cause. Following the investigation of these failures, management requested communication of the risk of pressure cycle fatigue throughout the organization with the intent to mitigate the levels of pressure cycling across the system. All pipelines were put on a monthly dashboard of pressure cycling and sent to all staff for awareness and action. The company measures pressure cycling on all pipelines by normalizing the number of cycles to 25% of the specified minimum yield strength (SMYS). From January 2016 to December 2019, the number of monthly cycles on the top ten highest cycled segments were reduced from 45,000 cycles per month, to 18,970 cycles. This is a reduction of 58%. The number of Very Aggressively cycled pipelines was reduced from 2 to 0. The number of Aggressively cycled pipelines were reduced from 13 to as low as 3. This paper will share the strategies and methodologies used to achieve these results. The paper will share how the list of highly cycled pipelines and the monthly status reports were developed. The paper will also share how pressure cycling mitigation strategies for pipeline systems were developed in collaboration with facility engineering, business unit leads, controllers, schedulers, and integrity staff. The effectiveness of mitigation methods such as pressure reduction, installation of back-pressure control valves, changing of valve timing on startup and shutdown, changes to the scheduling on the pipeline, utilization of flying switch between tankage, etc. will be discussed. By reducing pressure cycling, the risk of fatigue related failures can be reduced. This program is continuously being improved because there is both management commitment and ownership of the issue throughout the organization.

Abstract:
Abstract Static grids are commonly an ensemble of millions of reservoir property values. Analyzing this vast dataset is a challenging task and is usually performed via simple statistical parameters (e.g arithmetic mean and standard deviation). The objective of this paper is to present a quick and efficient way of analyzing static model realization results in a more visual, interactive and efficient manner allowing a multidisciplinary team to absorb information and key ideas quickly. The proposed methodology starts with a set of properties from a given static grid realization. The data are prepared with all necessary labeling and categorization to be analyzed (e.g. reservoir and segment indicators, well regions etc.). All kinds of data variations available in the static model are gathered and mobilized into dynamic data dashboards for further analysis. The interactive data visualization templates provide flexibility to filter information either by categories or data ranges. The filtering schemes are immediately propagated to all available plots in the dashboard highlighting common patterns from all the data relationships in the static model. The principle output from this methodology is an interactive data visualization panel that displays all necessary infographics related to reservoir data-trends. Starting from simple rock quality pie-charts, which can be mapped showing field-wide trends, porosity-permeability plots, to more detailed infographics of property ranges per well/reservoir indicator as well as summary tables of average properties per reservoirs/layers/segments etc. The ability to have all plots linked in a single display provides a simple but powerful platform to evaluate and interrogate data from the static grid using different views. Data can be aggregated in different ways and summarized accordingly. With this continuous process of data filtering, it is possible to quickly identify outliers and collect evidence of data inconsistency within the static grid. The additional value of the presented approach is the ability to compare multiple property realizations in a single template and summarize similarities and differences between different static realizations. The implementation of reservoir property dashboards proved to be an effective practice to increase the understanding of distributed properties inside static grids. A more comprehensive and detailed data quality check can be performed in multiple properties using a single view of the structured dataset. Additionally once data is loaded into the data visualization platform it can be easily shared with team members without the need of any specialized modeling software.

With large amounts of unstructured data being produced every day, organizations are trying to extract as much relevant information as possible. This massive quantity of data is collected from a variety of sources, and data analysts and data scientists use it to create a dashboard that provides a complete picture of the organization's performance. Dashboards are business intelligence (BI) reporting tools that collect and show key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a single screen, enabling users to monitor and analyse business performance at a glance. An objective assessment of the company's overall performance, as well as of each department, is provided. If each department has access to the dashboard, it may serve as a springboard for future discussion and good decision-making. The goal of this article is to explain in detail the implementation of Dashboard and how it works, which will serve as a blueprint for building an effective dashboard with respect to best practices for dashboard design.

Abstract:
Abstract Effectively managing oil rim reservoirs poses significant challenges due to uncertainties in predicting oil rim movements. This leads to production losses, high gas-to-oil ratios (GOR), increased water cut, and the risk of losing the oil rim. To address these issues, a proof of concept for an early warning system was developed, utilizing innovative data analytics techniques and leveraging well data, such as pressure and temperature measurements, to detect changes in water cut as an indicator of oil rim movement. The workflow involves data extraction, pre-processing, regime detection, trend analysis, and exception-based surveillance with alerts. A selected oil-producing well with ample flow line pressure, temperature, and well test data was used to test the workflow. Pipesim modeling indicated a clear correlation between temperature and water cut, validated through sensitivity analysis at different GOR levels. The technology provides an integrated workflow covering data management, analytics, an event detection alert algorithm, and a visualization dashboard. It is not intended to replace existing oil rim management tools but serves as an additional decision support tool when reliable models are unavailable. The early warning system presented in this paper addresses the limitations of current methods by offering a proactive approach to detect fluid movements and mitigate production losses. By integrating novel data analytics techniques and utilizing readily available well data, operators can make informed decisions and take timely actions, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of oil rim management in petroleum operations. This technology serves as a valuable decision support tool in the absence of reliable models, ultimately enhancing the overall performance of oil rim management strategies.

In Fifth International Conference on Higher Education Advances. Valencia: Universitat Politècnica València, 2019. http://dx.doi.org/10.4995/head19.2019.9415.

Abstract:
The number of students’ enrolled in Higher Education online courses is increasing, and as a result, more data about their learning process is generated. The data produced can be displayed on a dashboard and help students in their learning process. However, lecturers’ perspective should be taken into account to define the indicators of the dashboard as the design of the courses could impact on the elements included on it. And that is precisely the aim of this paper: to define the indicators needed to design a student dashboard in online courses taking into account lecturers' perspectives. This study was carried out with 10 lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities and Education from Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Online qualitative questionnaires were used to gather participants’ perceptions. Results show that most of the lecturers participating in the research study identified four indicators to design a student dashboard: number of times students access the course forum, amount of contributions in the forum, number of times students consult the information booklet, and number of times each student has accessed the course in a week time. Conclusions drawn from this study highlight the importance of training lecturers and students on the pedagogical use of data visualization.

Abstract:
The Adolescent Atlas for Action (A3) is a suite of tools that summarizes the lives and needs of adolescents around the world to promote evidence-based decision-making. Through accessible and easy-to-grasp data just one click away, the A3 bridges the gap between decisionmakers and evidence to inform policies and programs. The Adolescent Indicators dashboard and Gender Gaps dashboard are two simple but dynamic dashboards that provide insights on the lives of adolescent girls and boys living in low- and middle income countries (LMICs) across 9 thematic domains of wellbeing. The Adolescent Indicators dashboard showcases how adolescent girls or boys are faring under each theme, globally and subnationally, as well as how the indicators across domains are interlinked. The Gender Gaps dashboard allows you to compare gaps by domain and indicator, both globally and subnationally. This brief elaborates on the methodology for developing both dashboards.

Abstract:
Monitoring project investments and progress toward climate resilience in the private sector requires extensions to the normal project-level indicators of output. Based on a conceptual framework of a continuum of adaptation in achieving resilience, a prototype Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) platform requires co-learning with key stakeholders, benchmarking the toolkit in actual projects and brining together a robust toolkit. The methodology for designing a MLE platform for Proadapt, a review of existing approaches, and an initial dashboard are all covered here.

Abstract:
This edition of the "Basque Country Digital Economy and Society Report. DESI 2023" has adapted the new methodology developed by the European Commission in the context of the Digital Decade to compare the performance of the Basque Country with that of the Member States of the European Union in a dashboard structured in 4 dimensions: (i) digital skills; (ii) digital infrastructures; (iii) digital transformation of enterprises; and (iv) digitalisation of public services. The results of the analysis show that the Basque Country has improved in all indicators, something that reflects the situation of continuous progress in which we find ourselves with respect to the digitalisation of our economy and society. However, improved indicators are a generalised trend in all territories and the positioning of the Basque Country relative to others, as well as the recent evolution in this positioning, presents a mixed and nuanced scenario in each of the dimensions.
