Abstract:
The article deals with the formation and use of the business activity index for the analysis, forecasting and regulation of the development of the Russian economy. The possibilities of forming the Business Activity Index of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences by basic spheres of the economy (Index of the Institute of Economics RAS) are analyzed and its advantages are substantiated in comparison with the Index of Output of Goods and Services by the basic types of economic activities of Rosstat (Rosstat Index). The analysis of the dynamics of the IE RAS Index and the Rosstat Index after the socio-economic crisis of 2014–2015 until the second half of 2021, including the period of the coronavirus pandemic, has been carried out. A list of macroeconomic indicators characterizing the level of business activity in the spheres of the national economy included in the IE RAS Index is presented. Analysis and comparison of the dynamics of the IE RAS and Rosstat indices showed that the main advantages of the IE RAS Index lie in a more accurate determination of the timing of the onset and overcoming of crisis processes, as well as the depth of their impact on socio-economic development. Particular attention is paid to the analysis and comparison of the dynamics of business activity in the post-crisis and pandemic periods. It was found that the maximum drop in business activity, caused largely by restrictive measures in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, was observed in 2020. It is noted that the maximum growth in business activity for the period under review fell on the first half of 2021. This growth is confirmed by the dynamics of business activity indices according to the methodology of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Rosstat. The paper concludes that the IE RAS Index provides a more accurate integral assessment of the macroeconomic dynamics of business activity; it is proposed to widely use it in state accounting and management, forecasting and strategic planning.

Abstract:
In this article to be spoken about indicators of action of coronaviridae on an organism of animals – qualitative and quan-titative characteristics of blood. These indicators change at many patological reactions and participate in ensuring nonspe-cific and specific resistance of an organism. With the help of the analysis of integral leukocyte indices based on the formula of blood reflecting the state of neurohumoral homeostasis and immunological reactivity of the organism, the violations were first discovered and established humoral and cellular links of the immune system, micro- and macrophage system, reduction of nonspecific protection of the organism and revealed connections between integral hematological parameters and immunity indexes in dogs with experimental and natural infection with coronavirus. In animals in the natural course of coronavirus enteritis there were changes in the indexes of intoxication: a significant increase in the leukocyte index of intoxication, the indicator of reactivity of the organism, the index of leukocyte shift of blood and the index of intoxication, and significant decrease in the nuclear index, the general index and the leukocyte index in indices of nonspecific reactivity, a significant increase in the ratio of neutrophils and lymphocytes, the ratio of neutrophils and monocytes, the ratio of eosinophils to leukocytes and the ratio of segmental neutrophils and bands neutrophils, a significant decrease in the ratio of lymphocytes and monocytes, the index of ratio of lymphocytes and eosinophils, the index of Garkavy, index allergy and immunoreactivity index in indexes of activity of inflammation, a significant decrease of the ratio of leukocytes and ЕSR, the lymphocytic granulocytic index and the ratio of lymphocytes and monocytes to the ESR. Experimental infection revealed changes in the indexes of intoxication: a significant increase in the leukocyte index of intoxication, the nuclear index and the index of blood leukocyte shift, a significant decrease in the indicator of reactivity of the organism, the general index, the leukocyte index and the indicator of intoxication in the indices of nonspecific reactivity, a significant increase in the ratio of neutrophils and lymphocytes to the index ratio of eosinophils to leukocytes, a significant decrease in the ratio of lymphocytes and monocytes, the index of ratio of lymphocytes and eosinophils, the Garkavy index, the ratio of segmental neutrophils and bands neutrophils and the index of immunoreactivity in the activity indices, a significant decrease in the ratio of leukocytes and ESR and lymphocytic granulocytic index. Integral hematological parameters of peripheral blood have been proved to increase the informative value of the general analysis of blood in dogs with infectious diseases and allow to determine not only the degree of reactivity of the organism, but also to assess the level of endogenous intoxication. Key words: coronavirus enteritis, natural infection, experimental infection, hematological indices.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the impact assessment of the real sector and other factors of economic growth (characteristics of the financial sector, paid services and household incomes) on the dynamics of the business activity index, an integral indicator characterizing the state and trends of the country’s macroeconomic development. The purpose of the article is to justify the need and highlight the feasibility for developing new aggregated business activity indexes that include a wider range of the national economy areas than the output index of goods and services for the Rosstat basic business lines. The authors have used the design method for integral estimates of macroeconomic dynamics, regression analysis, and a probabilistic approach (the method of pairwise preferences) to determine the weighing coefficients of the basic indicators. The work has resulted in time series of business activity indices (in tables and graphs), based on the method proposed by the authors. The new index of business activity suggests a more objective assessment of the state and trends of socio-economic development compared to the same Rosstat index. This index can help to improve the macroeconomic forecasting efficiency and lay the groundwork for more grounded management decisions.

Abstract:
Abstract. An integral response model is proposed to describe the relationship between geomagnetic activity (aa index) and solar activity (represented by sunspot number Rz): The aa at a given time t is the integral of Rz at past times (t'≤t) multiplied by an exponential decay factor of the time differences (e−(t−t')/τ), where τ is the decay time scale (~40 months). The correlation coefficient of aa with the reconstructed series based on this model (rf=0.85) is much higher than that of aa with Rz (r0=0.61). If this model is applied to each solar cycle, the correlation coefficient will be higher (rf=0.95). This model can naturally explain some phenomena related to aa and Rz, such as (i) the significant increase in the aa index (and its baseline) over the twentieth century; (ii) the longer lag times of aa to Rz at solar cycle maxima than at minima; and (iii) the variations in the correlations related to solar and Hale cycles. These results demonstrate that aa depends not only on the present Rz but also on past values. The profile of aa can be better predicted from Rz by this model than by point-point correspondence.

Abstract:
A retrospective analysis of 470 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and anemia was conducted in order to determine hematological indices. 17 markers of inflammation activity, endogenous intoxication, adaptation, nonspecific and immune reactivity were calculated during this analysis. It was established that the course of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with anemia was accompanied by a more pronounced inflammation syndrome with a significant increase in stab and segmented neutrophilic granulocytes, an acceleration of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and significantly higher integral hematological inflammation indixes (leukocyte shift index, indexes of correlation: -leukocytes to erythrocyte sedimentation rate, -neutrophils to erythrocyte sedimentation rate, -nonsegonuclear neutrophils to erythrocyte sedimentation rate, neutrophils to lymphocytes; inflammation activity index, integrated inflammation index), large endogenous intoxication (neutrophil reactive response index, leukocyte intoxication index), change in adaptation, nonspecific reactivity (decrease in adaptation index, immune reactivity and allergization, and increase in the ratio indices: lymphocytes to monocytes, - lymphocytes to eosinophils) with activation of the phagocytic link of nonspecific protection over cell-humoral. The determination of integral hematological indices is an important, informative and accessible method for assessing the general condition of a patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and anemia.

Abstract:
Abstract Background Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic and incurable disease characterised by periods of activity and remission. There are several indexes that evaluate the UC activity from clinical, biochemical and endoscopic parameters. The faecal calprotectin is a non-invasive marker for detecting intestinal inflammation in UC patients. A new novel integral disease index (Yamamoto-Furusho index) includes clinical, biochemical, endoscopic and histological findings that evaluate the full spectrum of activity in UC patients. The aim is to correlate the Novel Index Activity index (Yamamoto-Furusho Index) with faecal calprotectin levels in UC patients and compare with other indexes. Methods A total of 158 patients with confirmed diagnosis of UC from the IBD Clinic were recruited in the period between July 2017 and June 2019. All demographic and clinical characteristics were collected from clinical charts. The faecal calprotectin was measured at least 1 week before the colonoscopy and biopsies. The Spearman’s Rho was used for the correlation. A p-value of <0.05 was considered as significant. Results We analysed 185 patients with UC, 85 patients (51.8%) were women and 73 (44.5%) men, with an average current age of 43.53 years (+14.35), an age at diagnosis of 36.6 + 15.1 years and disease duration of 11.27 ± 8.1 years. The extension was distributed on proctitis (E1) in 13.3%, left colitis (E2) in 19.6% and pancolitis (E3) in 31.6%. The treatment was based on mesalazine in 93.9%, steroids in 26.2% and azathioprine in 15.9%. The correlation between faecal calprotectin and the Yamamoto–Furusho index was high (rho = 0.730, p < 0.0001) compared with other indexes such as endoscopic Mayo sub-score (rho = 0.705, p = <0.001); Truelove–Witts (rho = 0.644, p = <0.001), Full Mayo score (rho = 0.708, p = <0.001) and Montreal (rho = 0.551, p = <0.001). Conclusion The novel integral index showed a high correlation with faecal calprotectin compared with other UC indexes for evaluating disease activity in UC patients.

Abstract:
The research deals with the integral haematological indices such as markers of immunoreactivity and phagocytic activity of neutrophils in animals kept in conditions of a nutrient imbalance. The animals were divided into four experimental groups: I — animals receiving full-value semi-synthetic ration (control group); II — animals receiving low-protein ration (LPR); III — animals receiving high-sucrose diet (HS); IV — animals receiving low-protein/high-sucrose diet (LPR/HS). It has been found that in animals kept in conditions of nutritional protein deficiency there was a disturbance of the specific immune response, as evidenced by a decrease in the immunoreactivity index and an increase in the index of neutrophils and leukocytes ratio. At the same time, no significant changes in the index of blood leukocytes shift and phagocytic activity of neutrophils were found, indicating the preservation of the non-specific immune response activity. However, in animals of this experimental group compensation of endotoxemia and a decrease in the adaptation index were observed, indicating an inhibition of the adaptive mechanisms. Similar changes in the integral haematological indices were observed in animals kept on a high-sucrose ration. It has been shown that animals consuming a low protein/high-sucrose ration have low immunological reactivity, as evidenced by a 3.4-fold decrease in the immunoreactivity index and a 1.5-fold increase in the blood leukocyte shift index, and disturbances in specific immune response (marker is an increase in the neutrophils and lymphocytes ratio), as well as a significant decrease in the phagocytic index, indicating the ineffectiveness of immune reactions involving neutrophils. At the same time, the intensification of the adaptive mechanisms and a three-fold increase in the reactive neutrophil response index indicates the subcompensation stage of endotoxemia. It is concluded that studied integral haematological parameters can be used as additional early diagnostic markers of impaired immunoreactivity and endotoxemia in animals kept in conditions of different protein and sucrose content in the diet.

Abstract:
Successful crisis resolution of the enterprise depends heavily on its timely detection, which is facilitated by the use of forecasting models. This allows understanding the scale of the problems in a timely manner and developing the appropriate measures, applying various financial mechanisms to prevent it, and in case of occurrence, reducing the amount of losses. In this context, it is important to choose the most optimal informational model that would provide the most objective forecasts, considering the financial activity peculiarities of the analyzed enterprise. Given a wide list of models that predict the financial crisis, there is a need to analyze and select the most accurate model for enterprises in the real economy. Ten Ukrainian machine builders are used to assess the bankruptcy probability using the most popular models; a taxonomic analysis was carried out, which allows systematizing a large amount of data and analyzing their impact on enterprise development. An integral index was determined, which allowed predicting the financial performance dynamics. For each enterprise, ten indicators were used characterizing their financial state for the period 2014–2018. It is substantiated that the selected models differ from each other by the set of initial data and the number of coefficients from four to seven. It is also determined that the efficient use of studied models is quite different; so when choosing a model to predict the bankruptcy probability, it is necessary to consider the peculiarities of the enterprise’s production activity, the accuracy in creating the financial statements and many other factors, including the presence of company’s shares in circulation at the stock market. It is worthwhile to use a taxonomic analysis to make a comprehensive comparison of the enterprise financial state and to substantiate the final choice of the bankruptcy forecasting model.

Abstract:
The article aims at identifying personal characteristics to measure the innovativeness. The results of an empirical study dated 2018-2019 on the sample of university youth (230 re-spondents aged from 17 to 25 years from two Russian cities, Tomsk and Saint Petersburg) are presented. The following questionnaires were applied to collect data on psychological parame-ters which were supposed to be essential for exploring the innovativeness as a personal charac-teristic: the World Values Survey by R. Inglehart, Self-Organisation of Activity by E.Yu. Mandrikova, Self-Assessment of Personality’s Innovative Qualities by N.M. Lebedeva and A.N. Tatarko, the Big 5 Openness scale. Factor analysis using the principal component method with Varimax rotation enabled us to reveal five factors. It was found that only the first factor which grouped the Self-Assessment of Personality’s Innovative Qualities scales (taking risk for achievement, creativity, orientation to the future) and the Big 5 Openness scale reflect those characteristics which are directly specified when describing and discussing the phenomenon of innovativeness. The second factor including R. Inglehart’s value dimensions (survival values Vs self-expression values and traditional values Vs secular-rational values) and the Openness to culture subscale, as well as the third factor bringing together such Self-Organization of Activity scales as fixa-tion and persistence reflect young people’s characteristics preventing them from innovative behavior. It can be argued that personality traits such as orientation towards traditional values, fixation and rigidity in relation to planning have a negative impact on a person’s readiness for innovative activity. Regression analysis confirmed the factor structure identified, showing that the self-assessment of innovative qualities of a person is determined, first of all, by one’s openness to experience. The total Self-Organization of Activity index also makes a significant contribution to understanding reasons for young people’s self-assessment formation of innovative qualities. Normative indicators of the scales involved have been obtained, which allow one to use them for diagnosing one’s innovativeness as an integral personal characteristic.

Abstract:
The Abu-Dabbab area, located in the central part of the Egyptian Eastern Desert, is an active seismic region where micro-earthquakes (≈ML < 2.0) are recorded regularly. Earthquake epicenters are concentrated along an ENE–WSW trending pattern. In this study, we used morphological indexes, including the valley floor width-to-valley floor height ratio (Vf), mountain front sinuosity (Smf), the asymmetry factor index (Af), the drainage basin shape index (Bs), the stream length–gradient index (SL), hypsometric integral (Hi) water drainage systems, and a digital elevation model analysis, to identify the role of tectonics. These indexes were used to define the relative tectonic activity index (RTAI), which can be utilized to distinguish low (RTAI < 1.26), moderate (RTAI = 1.26–1.73), and high (RTAI > 1.73) tectonic activity signals all over the study area. Firstly, our results indicate low to medium tectonic activity and general anomaly patterns detected along the major tectonic zones of the study area. Secondly, based on most of the low to medium tectonic activity distributed in the study area and the detected anomalies, we discuss two potential drivers of the seismicity in the Abu-Dabbab area, which are fault-controlled and deep-rooted activities.

Abstract:
Indicators of biological activity (humic content and stock, Cmic content and stock, hydrolytic and redox enzymes activity) were measured for the first time in the upper horizons of mountain meadow subalpine soils of Central Caucasus (elbrus altitudinal zonality in Kabardino-Balkaria). The comparative assessment was performed for the biological characteristics together with soil density and acid-base properties for soils of natural and pasture ecosystems. The integral index of ecological and biological soil state (IIEBSS) was calculated to estimate the level of changes in biological activity. It was shown that pasture degradation leads to 30% decrease of IIEBSS compared to the undisturbed soil. The defined biological parameters of natural undisturbed mountain meadow soils could be used as diagnostic indicators for the ecological studies of ecosystems under anthropogenic load.

Abstract:
Market of negotiable financial instruments is an immanent component of the financial system and is in a two-way relationship with other financial institutions and real sector of the economy in terms of ensuring its stable functioning. Possible market shocks can adversely affect state of the economy; therefore regulators should carry out constant market surveillance to detect and prevent early possible market violations, by calculating (in particular) the composite stress index. To construct a composite index, correlation analysis, generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity model, standardization based on the integral distribution function, seasonal adjustment and determination of a long-term trend based on filtering are used. It is proposed to calculate the stress index of Ukraine’s market of negotiable financial instruments on the basis of market data by balanced averaging of the following sub-indices: (i) stocks (UX stock yield volatility, CMAX indicator, market efficiency coefficient); (ii) debt securities (sovereign spread and CDS spread); and (iii) derivatives (indicator of the change in the number of open futures positions for the UX stock). Aforementioned were standardized using the integral distribution function. The author’s analysis of the proposed composite stress index shows that dominant factors affecting the situation in Ukraine’s market of securities and derivatives are intra-national ones, which have become dominant since 2014. At present, the stress index of Ukraine’s market of negotiable financial instruments is still of little importance to reflect economic situation in the state, given weak development of the market and its meager role for financing and reflecting the corporate activity.

Abstract:
The paper discusses different approaches of species activity determination in phytocenotic and floristic studies. The authors propose a formula of representation and plasticity for estimating the properties of the species taking into account the occurrence and abundance of the species in ecotopes with different anthropogenic transformation. The study contains a comprehensive analysis of sinanthropy properties of 32 herbaceous plants species related to the flora of Orekhovo-Zuyevo in the 19 most common types of ecotopes of different categories of anthropogenic disturbance. All species form 6 groups according to the ecotopic and sinanthropic plasticity. The relationship between the ecotopic and sinanthropic plasticity is discussed. It is shown that the synanthropic properties of species depend on the plastisity, but do not completely coincide with it. Native species with a high plasticity index successfully master a variety of ecotopes, including highly transformed ones and form a facultative-synanthropic (FS) component of the local flora. This species complex in boarders of local flora is constant and independent of the degree of the environment transformation. Adventive species, even with a high plasticity, penetrate the undisturbed ecotopes with difficulty and for the most part remain obligate sinanthropes (OS). The lability of the borders between non sinanthropic (NS) and relatively sinanthropic (RS) groups lead to the transition from one species group to the other.

Abstract:
Actuality of the innovational potential formation of the regions was revealed in the article. Problems of the innovational development of regions of the Central Federal District were emphasized. Volume indexes of goods, works, services, charges for innovations were distinguished. Reasons for differences in the innovational activity indexes of the regions were estimated. The leading regions were shown, and the dynamic of index changes were presented as well. On the basis of the performed analysis it was revealed, that both objective factors, that are connected with geographic locations, source of raw materials, operation of large enterprises, and subjective factors, such as investment volume, budget volume and structure, politics, realized by local government make great impact on the innovational development of the regions. Statistical evaluation of the innovational activity of the Central Federal District regions was given in the article as well. Differentiation analysis and analysis of imbalance degree in the structure of total volume of innovational goods, works and services were estimated with the help of integral coefficient of K. Gatev and Salai index. Evaluation method of regional innovation activity is based on the comparison of the innovation activity of the organizations in each region with the same index overall the Russian Federation. Constituent members of the Central Federal District were grouped on the basis of aggregate index of innovation activity. It was revealed, that the aggregate index of innovational activity in Bryansk Region decreased in 2017 and the region transferred into the group with lower bound of this index. Belgorod Region and Moscow Region improved their performance, transferring into the group with maximal bound of the index. Also directions of activation and perfection of innovational sphere of the region were suggested in the research.

Abstract:
Well-designed marketing activities and the use of modern marketing tools can increase the competitiveness of banks on the market. Given this fact, the main purpose of the study is to develop theoretical and practical provisions for estimating the level of marketing activity of banking structures. This is based on the definition of the integral index and takes into account all the elements of the marketing-mix and their partial indicators. The urgency of solving this problem comes from the fact that it is precisely the estimation of the level of marketing activity of the banking structures that directs managers to make the appropriate adjustment of marketing activities and make use of modern marketing instruments that will increase the competitiveness of banks on the market (e.g. increase market share and expand the boundaries of the target segments, help to create a positive image of the bank and maintain its business reputation). The article proposes a calculation methodology for bank marketing activity, which has been tested through the definition of the level of marketing activity of the leading Ukrainian banks. The computation of the level of bank’s marketing activity is based on the calculation of the integral indicator by summarization the input statistics, that characterize the bank’s marketing activity, with help of two methods: the standardization method and the hierarchy analysis method (Saaty method). The results of the expert survey were used for determining the weight of partial indicators within the hierarchy analysis method. Based on the results, the analyzed banks are ranked according to the level of their marketing activity in the investigated period, and a system of particular measures for raising the level of their marketing activity has been established.

As a result of mechanical trauma to the eye and damage to the blood-ophthalmic barrier, an inflammatory process occurs and, as a result, oxidative stress is a state of the body that develops against the background of an overproduction of free radicals, with a violation of the effectiveness of antioxidant protection. The aim of the study was to study the dynamics of oxidative stress coefficients for the integral assessment of the antioxidant status of rat liver tissues under oxidative stress induced by mechanical eye trauma. The study was carried out on outbred white sexually mature healthy male rats of six months of age, weighing 220–240 g in the amount of 150 pieces. For the integral assessment of oxidative homeostasis in rats, the coefficients of oxidative stress were used: a coefficient expressing the ratio of catalase activity to SOD activity; antioxidant-prooxidant index (API), which expresses the ratio of catalase activity to MDA concentration; the coefficient of the ratio of the concentration of MDA to the concentration of DC and the local antioxidant index (LAI), which is the ratio of the product of the activities of catalase and SOD to the concentration of MDA. The study found that the antioxidant status of rat liver tissue under oxidative stress caused by mechanical trauma of the eye is most effectively stabilized by standard therapy of mechanical trauma of the eye with the addition of quercetin in the form of injections.

Abstract:
The methodological aspects of the research of the atmospheric air state have been studied, the attention has been paid to biological methods, in particular, to the method of indicating the area of leaf blades, which is easy to use and allows getting reliable results. Taking into account the informative value of the morphometric parameters of the warty birch leaves and the sensitivity of the species to environmental pollution, it is promising to use this species of tree plants as a bioindicator when assessing the ecological status of an urbanized and anthropogenic-transformed environment. The integral index of warty birch leaves asymmetry in the territory with a minimum air pollution was the lowest – 0.0258. The maximum value (0.0914) was investigated in the territory of the “Dobrotvirska Thermal Power Station”, which indicates extremely unfavorable conditions; therefore the plants are in a very depressed state. The average integral index of the fluctuating asymmetry for the warty birch in the region of our studies is 0.0586, which suggests an approximation of the ecological state to pre-critical level. The comparative analysis of the morphometric parameters of the warty birch leaves discovered their uneven resistance to environmental pollution, which manifests itself by decreasing the size, area and biomass (cell material) of the leaves, as well as by increasing the degree of their necrotic damage.

Abstract:
Karangsambung, located in Central Java, Indonesia has complex geological conditions of the tectonic evolution of Java Island due to the subduction process of the India-Australia plate with the Eurasian plate in the Cretaceous-Paleocene. The tectonic movements in the subduction zone have resulted in diverse geological structures and rock types and impact the morphological shape of the study area. The level of tectonic activity in the study area can be determined using a tectonic geomorphological approach. A digital elevation model and geographic information systems are used for geomorphic data processing. Geological data observations were also carried out in the form of river terraces. Seven geomorphic index parameters have been calculated to determine the youngest tectonic activity through the relative tectonic activity index (IAT) of the study area: the ratio of the valley floor width to the valley height, the drainage basin asymmetry, the river gradient-length index, the basin shape index, mountain front sinuosity, drainage density, and the hypsometric integral/hypsometric curve. The IAT score is divided into four classes which are class 1 (0%) very highly, class 2 (13%) highly, class 3 (56%) moderately, and class 4 (31%) low. The IAT shows that the research area is categorized as an active tectonic area so that the morphology formed is more influenced by tectonic activity than erosion. Geological data analysis on uplifted and deformed river terrace outcrops shows that the study area is affected by neotectonic activity.

Aim. To evaluate the level of endogenous intoxication in the blood and the status of the lipid peroxidation processes in eye tissues of experimental animals after acute circulatory arrest. Methods. Chronic (5 weeks) pathophysiological experiments were performed in 72 nonlinear mature male rats, in which acute circulatory arrest was modeled by neurovascular heart bundle compression, followed by resuscitation. Endogenous intoxication intensity was assessed using endogenous intoxication integral index based on the detection of oligopeptides and low and medium molecular weight substances. Free radical oxidation in eye tissues was assessed by determining the level of 2’-thiobarbituric acid-reactive products, as well as by chemiluminescence. The condition of antioxidant system was investigated by catalase activity features and reduced glutathione level. Results. There was a significant two-phased increase of endogenous intoxication index during the whole postoperative period. Fe2+-induced chemiluminescence with subsequent accumulation of lipid peroxidation secondary metabolites, as well as increased activity of catalase protective system both in early stages (days 1-3) and on the second week were revealed in eye tissues. A positive correlation of endogenous intoxication integral index and the level of 2’-thiobarbituric acid-reactive products on the first day after resuscitation was revealed. Conclusion. Endogenous intoxication syndrome is formed after the acute circulatory arrest with maximal levels of endogenous toxins in the systemic circulation on 1-3rd and on 10-14th day after resuscitation, as well as with significant intensification of lipid peroxidation processes in eye tissues at the same period.

Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in combination with anemia of chronic disease (ACD), are of particular interest to both scientific and practical health care. The purpose of the work - to study the activity of systemic inflammation.Material and methods. The results of the examination of 475 patients with exacerbation of COPD were analyzed, which were divided into two groups: group I - 155 people (61,3% men and 38,7% women) with ACD; group II - 320 patients (46,9% of men and 53,1% of women) without the anemic syndrome. Determination of the activity of the inflammatory process was performed by hemocytogram, serum markers of inflammation and integrated hematological indices. The results of the study. It was found that COPD in combination with ACD was accompanied by activation of the inflammatory process (erythrocyte sedimentation rate, segmented neutrophils content) and suppression of lymphocyte-monocyte inflammation, significantly higher integral hematological indices (leukocyte shift index; ratio of leukocytes, non-segmented neutrophils and all neutrophils to the erythrocyte sedimentation rate; the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes and the integrated index of inflammation), which increased with the deepening of the anemic syndrome, increasing patients age and was more pronounced in women. Activation of inflammation was associated with deterioration of bronchial patency according velocity parameters (Tiffno index, mean and peak volumetric velocities, maximal volumetric velocities by 25% and 75% of the forced ungs vital capacity). Anemic syndrome was also associated with higher levels of C-reactive protein (p>0,05), general fibrinogen (p<0,05) and seromucoids (p>0,05), the content of which varied in parallel with the leukocyte shift index. Conclusion. Anemic syndrome, as a manifestation of persistent systemic inflammation, worsens the course of a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease through affecting the respiratory function and the inflammatory process activation.

Abstract:
This paper investigates the application of a contingency approach to managing meso-level public-private partnership projects. It is argued that situational management in implementing public-private partnership projects should rely on the so-called risk-contributing factors. It is emphasized that the contingency approach in the context of public-private partnerships is based on developing a set of indicators and integral index calculation used to rank both the projects themselves and their application in terms of territorial and sectoral aspects. It is proved that the integral coefficient at the meso-level reflects the most favorable environment for doing business, including basic frameworks for realization of public-private partnership projects. According to the calculations carried out within this study, at the regional level by selected indicators, the Mykolayiv region has demonstrated the most favorable conditions. Accordingly, the Donetsk region has the highest level of transaction costs and the highest rate of project implementation risk, i. e. the absolute risk value makes up 0.482. The high risk index for this region stems from military activities, low infrastructure development, lack of sufficient production capacity and, consequently, significant commercial and administrative costs for current operations. Thus, it is concluded that the assessment and multilevel analysis based on integral indicators, absolute and relative risk indicators are sufficient for the optimal selection of public-private partnership projects upon the criterion "the lowest project implementation risk – the greatest effects in different areas of activity.

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to evaluate the relative tectonic activity in the north part of the Evia Island, located in Central Greece, and to investigate the contribution of neotectonic processes in the development of the fluvial landscape. Five morphometric parameters, including Drainage Basin Slope (Sb), Hypsometric Integral (Hi), Asymmetry Factor (Af), Relief Ratio (Rh), and Melton’s Ruggedness Number (M), were estimated for a total of 189 drainage basins. The catchments were classified into two groups, according to the estimated values of each morphometric parameter, and maps showing their spatial distribution were produced. The combination of the calculated morphometric parameters led to a new single integrated Index of relative tectonic activity (named Irta). Following this indexing, the basins were characterized as of low, moderate, or high relative tectonic activity. The quantitative analysis showed that the development of the present drainage systems and the geometry of the basins of the study area have been influenced by the tectonic uplift caused by the activity of two NW-SE trending offshore active normal fault systems: the north Gulf of Evia fault zone (Kandili-Telethrion) and the Aegean Sea fault zone (Dirfis), respectively. The spatial distribution of the values of the new integrated index Irta showed significant differences among the drainage basins that reflect differences in relative tectonic activity related to their location with regard to the normal fault systems of the study area.

Abstract:
It is noted that the constant and rapid change of environmental influences requires enterprises to identify and anticipate possible threats to their activities. This actualises the problem of timely assessing such a complex object as the potential for economic security, which is able to ensure continuity and rhythm of production and counterbalance the negative effects of individual factors, in some way to guarantee the preservation of such a complex socio-economic system as an enterprise. The purpose of the study is to develop an approach to assess the industrial component of economic security of enterprises. The methodological basis of the research are scientific works of the classics of economic science, work and publications of leading scientists and specialists on the problem of enterprise security management, combining theoretical and scientific methods: analysis, synthesis, theoretical and logical generalization. An approach is proposed to evaluate the production component of an enterprise’s economic security, which allows to characterize the level of production resource adequacy to ensure extended reproduction, identify the main aspects of the enterprise’s activity that negatively affect the potential of economic security and provide the most acceptable directions for its enhancement. Based on the regression analysis, a multifactor model for evaluating the production component of the enterprise’s economic security potential is constructed. The indexes of the regression statistics of the model are presented, which show that the relationship between the integral index of the production component of the potential of economic security of enterprises and its factor indicators is characterized as high, close to close. It is suggested to interpret the integral index on a Harrington scale, which allows to give the indicator a meaningful content. It is noted that in accordance with the criterion scale of assessment during 2013 – 2018 the values of the integral indicator of the production component of the economic security potential of the studied enterprises are decreasing. This reflects their lack of activity in the production activity, which creates the preconditions for the fall in the level of economic security potential, hinders the introduction of scientific and technological progress. It is substantiated that the successful functioning of the enterprise requires a rational system of measures to ensure its economic security, with the main risks associated with the production component of the economic security of the enterprise.

Saline and morphine in doses of 0.03, 0.1, 0.5, 1, and 3 mg/kg were injected in random order in the jugular vein of the fetus during low-voltage ECoG. Fetuses were videotaped for evaluation of fetal behavior. We found 1) that saline did not elicit a response; 2) apnea, associated with a change from low- to high-voltage ECoG, increased from 2.2 +/- 1.5 (SE) min in two fetuses at a dose of 0.03 mg to 20 +/- 6.3 min in seven fetuses at 3 mg/kg (P less than 0.005); 3) the length of the breathing responses, associated with a change from high- to low-voltage ECoG, were 15 +/- 1.8 and 135.9 +/- 18.1 min (P less than 0.0005); 4) integral of EMGdi X frequency, an index equivalent to minute ventilation, increased from 1,763 +/- 317 arbitrary units to 10,658 +/- 1,843 at 1.0 mg/kg and then decreased to 7,997 +/- 1,335 at 3.0 mg/kg. These changes were related to a steady increase in integral of EMGdi, whereas frequency decreased at 3 mg/kg. There was an increase in breathing response to morphine plasma concentrations or morphine doses.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)

Abstract:
Introduction. Evaluating functional state of workers engaged intohazardous work conditions, researchers use not only traditional objective study methods, but also subjective parameters including sociologic polls of workers, with subjective evaluation of working process character, fatigue degree, time dimension, lifestyle, etc.Objective. To compare informativeness of integral criteria of work capacity according to WAI (Work Ability Index) questionnaires with other methods traditionally used in occupational physiology.Materials and methods. Th e study covered workers of plate rolling production in JSC «Arselor Mittal-Temirtau». Physiologic and statistical methods were used.Results. Comparative analysis of work capacity index via WAI with other methods traditionally used in occupational physiology demonstrated that WAI dynamics completely corresponds to central nervous system capacity dynamics, partially corresponds to cardiovascular functional strain dynamics, minimally corresponds to neuromuscular apparatus activity. WAI index can indirectly outline body resistance level assessed by transitory disablement morbidity parameters.Conclusions. Work capacity index by WAI could be directly extrapolated to levels of central nervous system strain and workers’ resistance (evaluated by transitory disablement morbidity), because the correlation dependences revealed completely correspond to dynamics of work capacity index by WAI. Such correspondence was not seen for cardiovascular system and neuromuscular apparatus.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of a study of the influence of the sylvinite speleoclimatic chamber and neurofeedback-therapy on the student’s adaptation process. With the help of automated methods of psychophysiological features, the authors studied parameters of heart rate variability, indices of personal and situational anxiety and the general health – activity – mood test in 29 students of the university during the period of training before and after the health measures. It has been established that ten sessions of speleoclimatotherapy did not affect the specificity of neurodynamic parameters, but led to a change in the psychological state of students and the degree of tension of regulatory systems: the number of people with high situational anxiety decreased, a positive trend was observed in terms of well-being, activity, mood; the values of the integral index of the stress index decreased. At the impact of ten sessions of the nerofeedback-training there are significant changes in the mechanisms of regulation of the heart rhythm: the degree of tension of the regulatory systems decreases and the activity of sympathetic and parasympathetic influences on the regulation of the heart rhythm; vegetative regulation has shifted either towards the equilibrium effect of the autonomic nervous system, or in the direction of intensifying the activity of parasympathetic influences.

Abstract:
The article focuses on the study of causal links between the level of innovation development and the shadow economy on the example of 10 European countries. Based on the analysis of existing approaches to determining the level of innovation activity in the country, a linear model for evaluating the Complex Innovative Activity Index is proposed. The main hypothesis of the paper was the assumption that the increase in the level of the shadow economy is accompanied by a decrease in the country's innovative development, deteriorating access to financial resources, and so on. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the correlation between the level of the shadow economy and the indicators of innovative development of the country as components of its macroeconomic stability using Panel data analysis from 2007 to 2018. Unlike previous studies, this research considered that level of innovative development increasingly depends on the level of the shadow economy. The results confirm the relationship between factor and result indicators for all analyzed countries. To test the hypotheses about the negative impact of the shadow economy on the level of innovative activity of the country was presented the linear model with Complex Innovative Activity Index as an integral indicator of 8 international indexes (Global Competitiveness Index, Digital Readiness Score, Digital Economy, and Society Index, Knowledge Economic Index, The European Innovation Scoreboard, Bloomberg Innovation Index, The International Innovation Index, Global Innovation Index) characterizing the level of innovative development of the country. In the second stage: testing of the data series for stationarity by the Dickey-Fuller and Philips Perron test Statistics, calculation of the optimal lag length from the maximum possible selected by the Akaike criteria, the Hannan-Quinn Information Criterion, and the Schwartz Information Criterion, verification of cointegration of data series using Johansen test are performed. Empirical calculations have proved the high impact of the shadow economy on the innovative development of the country. All indices are statistically significant at the level of 1% and 5% and 10% respectively. It is substantiated that the state should take into account interdependencies as a basis for the development and implementation of measures aimed at increasing the innovative activity of economic entities, increasing the innovation potential of the country, and so on. Abstract:
Introduction. The automotive industry traditionally belongs to the innovation-active subsectors, where a large number of product and process innovations are produced annually, many newest engineering solutions are put into practice. In scientific literature there are numerous studies of innovation and investment potential at the macro, meso and micro levels of its manifestation, but scientists have not yet paid attention to the innovation and investment potential of the automotive industry. The purpose of the paper is development and testing the methodological tools for integral assessment of innovation and investment potential of the automotive industry. Results. In the article the authors propose an integral index of innovation and investment potential of automotive enterprises and a scale of interpretation of the values of this indicator. The integral assessment of innovation and investment potential of the automotive industry of Ukraine in the period 2014-2018 is done, in particular such automakers as: PJSC “Zaporizhzhya automobile plant”, сorporation “Bogdan”, PrJSC “Eurocar”, PrJSC “AvtoKrAZ”, PrJSC “BAZ”, PrJSC “Chasivoyarsky buses”, PrJSC “Chernihiv automobile plant”, PJSC “Cherkasy bus”. It was revealed that currently the leader of innovation and investment development of the automotive industry of Ukraine is PrJSC “Eurocar”, which is characterized by a high level of innovation and investment potential. This situation is due to the traditionally effective partnership on the basis of franchising and car assembly activities of PrJSC “Eurocar” with leading foreign automakers such as Škoda Auto, Volkswagen AG, Hyundai Motor Company. Other domestic automakers are characterized by an average level of innovation and investment potential, except for PrJSC “BAZ”, which is currently characterized by a low level of innovation and investment potential. Conclusion. In the period 2014-2018, the stimulators of the innovation and investment potential of the automotive industry of Ukraine were indicators of the cost of implemented investment projects, capital efficiency, material efficiency and productivity. Instead, mainly the destructive influence on the integral index of innovation and investment potential of the automotive industry of Ukraine in 2014-2018 was carried out by indicators of management efficiency, introduction of innovations, profitability of activity.

Abstract:
A strategic stability can be defined as the company’s ability to successfully adapt to changing external and internal conditions of activity in strategically certain period, it will maintain its competitiveness. An important feature of strategic stability is that it is expressed by variety of indicators, that reflect economic, investment, technical, social and environmental subsystems, that characterize the systemic understanding of business enterprises. To solve the enterprise strategic stability problems, it is necessary to develop an appropriate methodology to provide a strategic stability assessment. In order to fulfill the requirements of the system, it is necessary to assess not only the individual subsystems of the enterprise, but also their relation, structure, that will let to unite the characteristics at integral (complex) index. This allows for indicators combination analysis method, included in the integral indicator with weights and relevance, based on the principle of hierarchy, tocreate a system of comprehensive evaluation of the enterprise strategic stability, which will give an objective description of the strategy in the short and long term. This is achieved by the fact, that a comprehensive indicator gives a more accurate estimate, because in the aggregate index the random events are graded, which is peculiar to individual indicators.

Abstract:
The aim of this research was to evaluate the integral oxidative stress index (OSI) level in Asian girls and boys with exogenous-constitutional obesity. Methods and Results: A total of 170 Asian adolescents aged 12-18 years were examined: 26 girls and 28 boys with constitutional obesity (main group, MG); 59 girls and 57 boys - healthy adolescents (control group, CG). The levels of lipid peroxidation (LPO) products and antioxidant defense (AOD) parameters were detected using spectrophotometric and fluorometric methods. The level of LPO products and AOD components in the studied groups were assessed to calculate the integral OSI. Significant increases in the levels of primary LPO products (conjugated dienes by 2.18 times) and secondary LPO products (ketodienes and conjugated trienes by 2.48 times) in the obese Asian girls, compared with the control values, were observed. We found a significant decrease in the parameters of the AOD system in the obese Asian girls, compared with the control values: α-tocopherol (by 1.41 times; P=0.0262), retinol (by 1.12 times; P=0.0306), and SOD activity (by 1.28 times; P=0.0004). In the obese Asian boys, increased values of LPO components were found, compared to controls: conjugated dienes (by 2.13 times), ketodienes and conjugated trienes (by 3.4 times), final thiobarbituric acid reactants of LPO (by 1.24 times). They showed a statistically significant decrease in the level of α-tocopherol (by 1.49 times), compared with the control values. According to the obtained data, OSI in the group of Asian girls with obesity was 15.68 units, in the group of Asian boys with obesity - 22.89 units. The OSI in the group of Asian boys was higher (by 1.46 times) than in the obese girls. Conclusion: Certain OSI levels are consistent with the presence of antioxidant insufficiency in exogenous-constitutional obesity and allow us to specify and evaluate the ethnic aspect of the severity of the pathological process more reliably.

Abstract:
Theoretical aspects of the stability of marine ecosystems under the influence of the dynamics of hydrometeorological conditions are considered. Groups of natural factors of the ecosystems of the Baltic and White seas defining a level of stability – biocenotical, dynamic hydrological, the dynamic oceanological and corresponding to them estimated indicator indices with assessment of their information significance are justified. Rating of values of indicator indices is executed. Three versions of the integral index of assessment of stability of AISE (integrated assessment of sustainable existence) based on accounting of 6, 9 and 15 indicators indices are developed. On the basis of the received integral estimates zoning of ecosystems of the Baltic and White seas in relation to their stability is executed. Need of accounting of a level of stability of specific water areas in the course of planning and implementation of sea economic activity – navigation, dredging operations, mounting of underwater infrastructure, industrial fishing is justified.

Abstract:
The majority of countries use several well-known integral indicators for economic forecasting purposes, on which basis these countries’ ranks in the global economic community are computed. Apart from allowing investors to make investment decisions, such indicators and ranks help in forecasting economic development in forthcoming periods. The best known of them is Ease of Doing Business Index and Global Competitiveness Index. The less known ones are indicators of Business Tendency Surveys (BTS), computed on the basis of data obtained from questionings of enterprise managers in various economic sectors and from studies of consumer sentiments. Yet, specialists tend to use the data from these conjuncture surveys to analyze the current economic situation in a country (total or by industry) and build short-term forecasts. Apart from the survey indicators depicting quite clearly a situation in the economy, the most popular ones in Europe are Confidence Indicators for enterprises by economic activity, and Economic Sentiment Indicator incorporating the indicators from BTS of enterprises and consumer sentiments. These indicators are computed by the European Commission for EU member countries on monthly basis. The article shows changes in Doing Business ranks for selected EU member countries and Ukraine. BTS indicators for industrial enterprises (estimate of production capacities; estimate of change in the production orders; estimate of the competitive position of enterprises at the internal market) are analyzed for some of these countries. A comparison of the dynamics of production capacities utilization, business confidence indicators and Doing Business rank is made for Ukraine and Bulgaria. The prognosticating capacities of BTS indicators compared with Doing Business indicator are analyzed.

Abstract:
In modern conditions households play an important role in the country's economy. Improving their effective functioning and quality of life of the population is one of the priority tasks of socio-economic development of the country. The set of subjective and objective indicators for determining the level of vital activity of households using an expert method, which based on a collective notebook, is substantiated. The expert group involved leading experts in the field of studying the population’s quality of life, the development of socio-economic and innovative processes; the method of "Snowball" is used for this study. It is proved that peculiarities of activity of households in the conditions of a new economy require the allocation of three system-forming groups of indicators: social, economic, innovation and educational life, the use of which provides a deeper and more comprehensive assessment of households' livelihoods. It is substantiated that in the group of indicators of economic life it is expedient to use two new indicators for households, such as household profitability index and household saving index, which provides a deeper assessment of the index of economic activity of households by expanding their economic opportunities. The distribution of the studied regions of Ukraine according to the level of vital activity of households was carried out using the Harrington scale. To visualize the results of the distribution, the means of “Front-end development” were used and the Illustrative map of Ukraine was built. Recommendations for improving the living standards of households in Ukraine aimed at, first of all, increasing the attention of the state authorities to the socio-economic activity of households are proposed. The methodical approach to the assessment of household living standards is based on the use of the proposed system of indicators consisting of three system-forming groups (social, economic and innovation-educational activities) that are integrated into the integral index (household living standards index) by the taxonomy method.

Abstract:
Currently, rural school faces many difficulties both within its system and outside (unfavorable challenges of the external society), which complicate the organization of the educational process. Accordingly, the atmosphere of psychological comfort for all subjects of educational activity in rural schools decreases. The purpose of the study is to diagnose, record and describe the state of psychological comfort in the education of a modern rural school. The leading method for collecting primary empirical information was the survey method conducted in the format of a Google questionnaire (a questionnaire for representatives of the administration of an educational organization; a questionnaire for a teacher; a questionnaire for primary and high school students; a questionnaire for parents). In the Kirov region, rural and urban schools participated in the study: totally 338 responses to the questionnaire were received, of which 144 are students, 111 parents, 71 teachers and 12 administrations. The article presents the author's interpretation of the concept «psychological comfort of education in rural school». The diagnostics was carried out and the integral coefficient of psychological comfort of education in rural school was determined, measured in three directions: an integral indicator of the attitude to the educational environment; selection of significant characteristics of the educational environment and the index of satisfaction with them; index of psychological safety of the educational environment of the school. In general, the integral coefficient is characterized by a high level. The materials of the article can be used to diagnose the psychological comfort of the both urban and rural schools. Further research will be aimed at developing a concept and defining pedagogical mechanisms for improving the characteristics of the psychological comfort of education in rural schools.
